I had boked return ticket for Hyd Del route. But had to prepon the first flight.
Cleartrip had charged me extra for changing schedule. but never updated the Spicejet company. Hence they did not allow me to board the plane on 29th. July'16 . Further I had to buy new tickets on airport (Indigo) to reach delhi.

Cleartrip customer support never responded to my emails and phone query, for update and also later when i ask to cancel my tickets.

I would like to escalate the matter, and seek penalty for the financial and emotional harassment faced by me.

Kindly advise how to take it forward and get my refund, since they did not deliver the service for which I was charged.

1. Original HYD-DEL (Return Ticket) = INR 6126.00 (SG123; PNR: R5ELJF)
2. After Changing the Initial Hyd-Del Ticket to different date to 29-07-16:11.00PM: = INR 5142.00 (Paid Extra)
3. They did not update the Spicejet Hence, they did not allow me to board the flight at Airport.
4. I had to make alternate ticket with INDIGO, at Airport = INR 8970.00
5. I had asked the Cleartrip Customer care to Cancel, my Hyd-Del 31-07-16 Flight, but they did not do so.
6. I flew back from Del - Hyd. on the same return ticket booked.

I do not understand, If they did not provide the required service, which i paid for. Why are they not returning back my INR 5142.00

Because of their poor service level, I had to spent extra INR 8970.00 which was complete unplanned.

Because of their poor service delivery, I have suffer, and seek guidance how to make a appeal/ complaint in consumer court.

    Do not trust clear trip, they are cheaters - i had done a accommodation booking at shimoga (River view farm stay) yesterday afternoon through their link for the upcoming holidays (13th to 15th aug), received confirmation on the booking and in the night around 9:00 pm, i receive a call from cleartrip stating they are canceling the booking as the rooms are not available and the vendor did not update the details. Trusting them i have given my consent for cancellation and within 30 minutes i see room available for double the price that i booked, with cleartrip link given below for booking confirmation... I had also done backup booking for other location (Hampi) through cleartrip by paying a token amount of 1100/- as advance and after the booking is done they display message if booking not confirmed within 5 days the token amount will not be refunded:- (, the customer agent who spoke to me says i can get refund if i pay the entire amount of 12k (For 3 nights) and request for cancellation... Thus they will deduct a fee of 300/- towards cancellation and return the balance amount, this sounded very strange to me as they could have done the same by deducting 300/- from the 1100/- that i have already paid... Overall the experience has been bad and untrustworthy... Definitely this experience has given me an impression that they are taking advantage of the situation and cheating people

      I have booked flight ticket on 26/7/2016 on 9.30 pm in the name of ramana v. V for indigo flight 6e151 the amount is deducted from the credit card but i didnt get the ticket, received the message that my amount will be credited and the details of the payment will be received thru sms / e-mail within 24 hours, till today i didnt get any information regarding that. I again booked the ticket thru credit card for the same person and same flight and the trip id : [protected], received ticket. The amount is deducted twice. I booked the ticket thru [protected]@yahoo.com. I want the confirmation of the first booked ticket amount.


      2) i booked ticket bangalore to vizag thru debit card from this account. I didnt get the ticket at 10.15 pm on 26/7/2016 from this account [protected]@yahoo.com. I received message that the amount is deducted twice (Rs 3, 929.00) thru indigo flight. Pl confirm me about the deducted amount thru sms / e-mail. Total of amount (4, 309.00+3, 929.00+3, 929.00 = 12, 167.00) i dont have any balance to book ticket further. Waiting for ur urgent reply.

        I had booked a trip id # [protected] (Mumbai - bali) departure on 03sep2016 at 01:15 hours from mumbai and return on 09sep2016 at 15:40 hours from bali. The flight chosen was jet airways. I had applied the code "flyint" which indicated a cashback of inr 5000 on successful completion of booking. However, when i completed the booking i saw that there was a discrepancy as the return flight booked was departing at 07:35 hours on 09sep instead of the flight selected i. E departing bali at 15:40 hours. Also, the cashback of inr 5000 was not processed after the booking. I resgistered these two complaints on 07july2016 at the call centre with jagjeet and i was promised a resolution within 24hours. I rechecked the status on 09july2016 and was informed that the complaint was under process and i will recieve a call back on 11july2016. I waited and called back on 13july2016 and was connected to hemang (Supervisor) who aplogoized profusely and confirmed a call back by evening. I waited for the call back and again called on 14july2016 with the same response. Finally in absence of any call back, i was forced to call again on 15ju;ly2016 and was informed that there was no problem at backend and i will have to reschedule the booking also the cashback that was not processed is still being checked and he would confirm the details.

        I was left with no option but to reschedule the flight to the one i had originally booked by paying additional inr 100064 as suggested by marcus who also sighted inability to help in cashback credit and suggested i escalate the issue through email. I am still awaiting a confirmation on the cash back. My complaint is that i keep on receiving messages for booking through online app and this experience has left me wondering the sanctity of booking through app. To add there is absolutely no support from the call centre. I would like an answer on the cash back and resolution for the deficiency in service.

        In absence of any response, i am escalating the matter to consumer forum

        While I am trying to book the flight ticket it goes properly till traveller details. After that I am getting the message " OOps !!! Something went wrong here. Please try again after some time." I am not able to book the ticket since 2-3 days. I am not getting Why it is appearing so. I am frustrated .

          On 11th july 2016 i booked hotel le royal meridien chennai
          (1, gst road, saint thomas mount, chennai, 600016) from cleartrip.com for rs.44/night with trip id: [protected], trip id: [protected] and trip id: [protected]. i got all the confirmation from the website and the next day they cancelled the booking saying due to wrong pricing from hotelier's end we are unable to confirm your reservation for le royal meridien chennai, chennai, tamil nadu, india trip id: [protected], trip id: [protected] and trip id: [protected].

          Please help

            Cleartrip cheated the customer by converting the online booking to phone booking, thereby resulting in loss of rs 2000/- to the travelers, by giving misleading informations. The details:


            From cleartrip site, i had initiated on line booking for lucknow to bangalore return air tickets, on 08.07.2016, for 08.09.16/17.09.16.

            As i was about to punch otp to make payment from credit card, i received call from cleartrip booking office, saying don't make this payment as fare has increased, and your payment will be struck up in between. Told me, will send you a link for making payment on your email. When i received the link, it was not showing the credit of rs1000, my balance in cleartrip wallet. When i told the executive about this he told me, we can not give credit for your wallet balance.

            I told him that i will not make payment this way, and will rebook my tickets. He told me that the fare has mean while increased by rs4000, and even with discount of rs1000, you will loose rs 3000/-.

            So i made the payment without wallet discount. Immediately, after the booking, i checked the fare online for the same dates, there was absolutely no increase in fare. Your booking executive has ditched me.

            Cleartrip should not do this type of cheating with the customer. This way, i have lost rs 2000/, rs1000 from the wallet was not utilised, and rs1000 further cash back discount on fresh booking was not given.

            This is a serious matter, as by giving wrong information on the fare, the executive has cheated me.

            Details/time of the incident are:

            Call from cleartrip executive received from phone no. [protected] at 2040 on 08.07.16, by interrupting me during my online booking, and the call lasted for 28 minutes.

            My trip id [protected] for the booking done by your executive.

            Another serious matter about this interruption, is that your executive was continuesly viewing my online booking, and interrupted me by phone call while i was punching my card details, which is highly objectionable.

            Kindly look into this very serious lapse, and cleartrip reimburses me with rs 2000/ for my loss.

            If you are not going to resolve this at the earliest, i will loose faith in cleartrip, and henceforth will not use cleartrip for any bookings.

                I have booked 6 tickets in cleartrip.and I have entered the correct passport numbers.but when I checked my ticket I saw that my and my brother's passport numbers are same.I called cleartrip and corrected the mistake.they said that they will send the new ticket soon
                they again send a new ticket, but there also my and brother's passport number were same.what I should do??

                    Clear trip id no ;[protected] pnr no ;qbuyna no of passengers 03;
                    Airlines name ; spice jet. time and date of flight ; 9..05 am on 18.05.2016
                    Flight was delayed by more than 03.5 hrs. since i had to travel from nd to dubhai on the same day. my ticket was cancelled by spice jet. and alternate flight by indigo airlines was arranged by spice jet staff.
                    As enquired from spice jet customer care my refund money has been sent to cleartrip but, after about 02 months i have not received the amount in the credit card through which i have made the payment.
                    Kindly get my refund amountr refunded as early as possible.

                            Dear Sir,
                            I came across a very unenviable experience with Cleartrip, which puts the image and ethical values of the company in stake.
                            I have purchased the ticket for my wife Anna Khanna and Armaan Khanna on 29th March from Cleartrip Trip ID: [protected]
                            The onward journey was scheduled on 27th May by SU 535 at 01:05, which my wife and son were unable to board as she missed out to carry her PIO card along. After returning back we enquired with Cleartrip customer care and we have been informed that the tickets were non-refundable and for fixed dates, and since it comes under no show condition, they are helpless. They gave me the number of Aeroflot Delhi office to call ([protected]/7390) and discuss directly with Aeroflot office.
                            However, the dates offered by Aeroflot after additional payment of Rs. 55000 to us was not suiting us. No information of cancellation of return journey has been informed to us. So we started looking for other options knowing that at least, the return ticket shall not go in vain. Finally, we booked the onward journey tickets from Delhi to Moscow by Air India and From Moscow to Krasnodar by Ural.
                            On 23rd June, they had their return flight from Krasnodar-Moscow Delhi at 11:35 from Krasnodar. At Krasnodar Airport, she had been informed that since your onward journey was a no show, so the whole ticket has been cancelled. During that one hour spell, my wife has undergone so much of stress and arguments with Aeroflot staff and Airport authorities... but they had only one answer that all complaints to your travelling agent. Finally, she was not allowed to board the flight and all o[censored]s have gone through immense stress apart from the financial losses.
                            1) Where in your e-ticket or communications, have you mentioned about the automatic cancellation return ticket in case of no-show on onward journey.
                            2) Why we have not received any official information on mail/call from Cleartip regarding the cancellation of the return ticket?
                            3) When I have not cancelled or asked for any refund of the ticket, who gives the right to Cleartrip/Airlines to cancel without intimating the passengers?
                            If would have been a no show while return, I can agree... but I have paid for the seats.
                            Let the seats go empty or It should only allotted to someone in case of a no show.

                            Unfortunately, I could not write you earlier as I was occupied to find the alternative solutions of return ticket of my wife and children.
                            I would like to officially challenge Cleartrip through Consumer Forum.

                                I will never book my tickets with cleartrip.com in my life nor I will recomend any one use cleartrip.com.

                                I booked my tickets from Imphal to Bangalore via Kolkatta forJune 11, 2016 with ticket id [protected] for Rs.12, 905/- with multiple airlines travel.

                                Indigo 6E-358 got delayed due to bad weather by 3 hours & i was forced to cancel my JET airways 9W-7049 flight in Imphal. Clear trip customer care people put me on hold for more than 90 minutes, when I told them to cancel my tickets & provide me with some alternatives. They did nothing to help me & other passangers who were stranded because of no fault of ours.

                                Finally, I cancelled my Jet Airways ticket in Imphal Airport at 16:30PM. Clear trip people left me stranded in Imphal Airport without making any alternate arrangements for my travel from Kolkatta to Bangalore connecting flight.

                                That’s was not the end of careless behavior of clear trip.com people. Jer Airways people gave me ticket cancellation receipt mentioning cancellation charges of Rs.2, 250/- plus some Rs250/- clear trip charges, out of Rs.6, 320/-.

                                But on June 13, 2016 Clear trip people sent me a refund calculations showing Rs.3, 809/- as Airline charges. This means cleartrip.com people are cheating me on cancellation charges & fraudently deducting Rs.3, 820/-.

                                I was forced to buy another flight ticket for my Kolkatta Bangalore trip from Indigo Airlines flight 6E716 dep at 21:25PM paying another Rs.6, 269/- additional cost.
                                Cleartrip.com has clearly cheated me & other passengers. They are very careless & casual, when I confronted them with all these details. They will only put our call on hold for 20-30 minutes & evade support or responsibility.

                                If any flight is delayed due to bad weather, they must make suitable transfers with connecting flights even if it is with multiple airlines ticket booking as a service provider, as passenger is not at any fault in these situation & is also helpless.

                                I am going to complaint to Consumer court on this matter & I will make cleartrip.com pay for all these cheating & misdeeds.

                                  I and my wife had an worst experience with cleartrip.com and the hotel booked via cleartrip.com.

                                  We had booked hotel mount and mist, nainital from 18june to 20th june through cleartrip.com around 1 month back from the day of check in, but when we reached hotel on 18th june, hotel mount and mist staff/receptionist cheated us.
                                  They gave us room in the building opposite the hotel, which was actually somebody house and more like a servant quarter. My wife said that this not the same room which we saw on cleartrip.com when we were booking. She kept asking the hotel staff, he deinied initially this is the room and this building belongs to hotel. But me and my wife figured out that they are cheating us. And after an argument with my wife, hotel staff agreed, that this is not that room which we have booked and they are sorry as they have given our room to somebody else. And hotel staff requests us to stay in that servant quarter for a day.
                                  Me and wife disagreed to stay in that servant quarter, and still hotel staff says we dont care about this cleartrip.com and his dialogue was "isse kya hota hai") by which he meant is booking se kya hota hai humare paas room nhi).

                                  As we were feeling helpless at that time, we called cleartrip.com and their customer executive "sunanda", she listened to all story and then she spoke with hotel staff, and after her conversation with mount and mist hotel, she even started requesting us to stay in that servant quarter for a day.

                                  Me and wife were completely angry as we belong to media, if this is the case, we are going to call police now and put this fraud case news against hotel and cleartrip.com, in media now.


                                  After all this argument, cleartrip.com customer executive "sunanda" connected us with hotel mount and mist senior staff "sonia", and she even started requesting us to adjust for a day.

                                  These all three people have no shame at all.

                                  The story doesnt end here as we not given hotel room yet, and aruguments were on for atleast 3 hours, so till evening 5-6pm, we were not given the hotel mount and mist room and we were out with our luggage. Nor even lunch, water was offered to us.

                                  So, late evening after arguments hotel senior staff came up with a random solution of shifting us in the other hotel "anamika". Though we were not happy wth us but my wife was not feeling well, so we have to agree on this for a day stay.
                                  Now the sad experience doesnot end here, we were said hotel anamika is a good hotel, well located on mall road, and had clean room and good view.
                                  So, now the question arrises how to reach there, so now hotel mount and mist said our car will not be able to drop you till that hotel anamika, so this means we have to manage on our own and these shameless people cant even think of somebody who has just travelled so much amd waisted there one day stay in nainital, still have to figure out there left over stay of 18th june, after paying cleartip.com in so advance.

                                  And somehow spending extra rs 500/- for the taxi from hotel mount and mist to hotel anamika, when me and my wife reached hotel, we felt more cheated, as hotel anamika was very very disgusting, dirty rooms, geysers not working, no wifi, no toilteries to offer to guest, dirty bathrooms and room full of mosquitoes.

                                  After all this struggle, hotel mount and mist and cleatrip.com, not even bother to call us on 18th june.

                                  Next day on 19th june, we called up hotel mount and mist to alot us the room which we booked. They still didnt send a car to pick us from hotel anamika. We again has to spend taxi charges to reach hotel mount and mist.

                                  Me and wife will be attaching pictures of both the hotels - mount and mist and hotel anamika.
                                  We request nonone should book from cleartrip.com and hotel mount and mist ever nor refer these too.


                                  Who is responsible for above mentioned issue, i guess cleartrip.com or hotel mount mist better refund our amount and our extra taxi fares, as we will be filing "fraud case", and "property case", calling opposite building property of hotel mount and mist and even cleartrip.com is with them on this, and "torture case"

                                  So, we will be filing these cases by this weekend if we dont receive the amount back.

                                  And we will also take this case to consumer court and will make sure that no one books through cleartrip.com, as we are going to put this in social media and the news channel where i work.

                                  So it is clear warning to the people, who book via cleartrip.com, that this company can make your holiday experience, the worst experience ever. So kindly dont refer this site to anyone.

                                  And cleartrip.com, we are definately waiting for your reply and the refund amount which you have to do.

                                  We have all check in details with pictures so better you look into this matter otherwise we will be taking strict against it.

                                    We have checked in in a deluxe room in hotel southern, arya samaj road new delhi
                                    The service of the room is very bad, and the hotel staff is not ready to cooperate with us .. We are very dissappointed by your service.. We are regular customer of clear trip .. But now i wont think, that i will make a booking another time .. I am highly dissappointed .. I am on a business trip and each second is very reliable .. Plz do something.. The hotel has not provided the basic ammenities that are placed in a 3 star property in a deluxe room. According to the photos on the website .. The room was completely worst ..

                                      Dear Sir,
                                      We made a reservation at Hotel Asliyya Grande based on the map provided. We purposely wanted to be close to the airport in Trivandrum and the temple.
                                      The map provided when booking this room is incorrect and Is 40km north of where it is located on the map provided. We did not stay at this hotel.
                                      I have contacted customer service 3 weeks ago and I still have not received my money back. No one is communicating with me. I'm disgusted at the bad service you offer.

                                        My self anil kumar garg booked a flight from jaipur to hyd on journey 22 june 2016 by clear trip app in the offer of 500 cash back in clear trip wallet but i did not get any ballence in my wallet. I have also contacted to customer care but they do not resolve the issue. I m comlaining again and can go to higher authorities regarding this issue. I mostly used this app for flight booking but this time this app made me unhappy.
