AND REFUND TAXES.
CLEAR TRIP AFTER SEVERAL CALLS to Miss Jyoti REFUSED TO REFUND PASSING BUCK ON SINGAPORE AIRLINES. Finally i was told she left Airline. Next Agent Miss Evan did the same.
SINGAPORE AIRLINES MISS SHERRON[protected] CONFIRMED THE REFUND OF Rs 23500 is payable out of Rs 39000/-
All recordings are available.
I Strongly ALERT PUBLIC TO BE CAREFUL WHILE MAKING BOOKINGS THRU CLEAR TRIP.
SHALL BE HANDING OVER THE MATTER TO CONSUMER COURT.

    i made purchase ticket yesterday from cleartrip website abudhabi to trichy in 13 june2017and baggage allowance showing 40 plus 7 now i double check with your customercare he said only 30.so cleartrip cheating customer before thay showing 40kg.and after booking he said 30kg.this means your cheating the customer, this is not good for cleatrip.customer trusting cleartrip if you doing same like this you will losse all customer, please do nessesary action for this compalint and reply me this is my trip id :Trip ID [protected]

      Cleartrip says something on call and refund something else

      Id: [protected].

      I shall never use cleartrip

      Point no 1: "if you cancel your booking (In part or full)" i haven't cancel its airline who had cancelled

      Point no 2: cleartriper executive itself confirm on 04/11/2016, the night flight was cancelled that we will refund entire amount of nearby 9250 deducting convenience fee with having call conference with spicejet executive mr kamaljeet

      So after 20 days of multiple emails cleartrip just changes rules as per their convenience

      Point 3: i paid 17654 (+ 2000 wallet) = 19564 /- (It means cleartrip has to pay 19564 /- to spicejet, without excluding any commission)
      Now spicejet refunded 10034/- to cleartrip

      Now cleartrip refunded me 5954 so here out of[protected] = 13610 which left with cleartrip including my wallet money which i earn on previous booking, and not to confuse with 2500 of this booking

      O here cleartrip have 13610 + 10064 (Spicejet refund) = 23674/-
      Now cleartrip says we have given you 2500 so lets deduct it :[protected] = 21, 174 /-

      Here is what concern me that is cleartrip have to pay only 19564 /- and having 21, 174 /- (Even not including your commission with airline or also deducting 2500 paid to me) there is clear difference of 1610/-

      O here due to flight cancellation of airline : 1: i have to paid extra and book other flight (I understand i cant blam cleartrip for this)

      2: cleartrip confirm full refund same day accepting on call since its airline who had cancelled and not you so we will refund full (Cleartrip shall take responsibility)

      3: due to flight cancellation of airline actually out of my booking, cleartrip earning 1610/- despite even deduction of 2500 + conviencecy fee

      4: i (Customer loose) money despite not having service

      Prove my above calculation wrong and i shall accept your deductions, otherwise humbly accept there is flaw in your policy that when airline cancel flight, actually cleartrip earns more when cleartrip get refund from airline, which on name of policy cleartrip not want to give back or refund or as as wallet too.

        Non Refund of cancellation charges even when air line has refunded whole amount after 20 days after reminder request for more than 5 times.

        I have made air ticket booking from Delhi to Goa on 08th Nov 2016 thru Air Asia for Rs.17192/-. Due to change in the flight timing I had cancelled the flight ticket and ask them to process the refund. As tickets are fully refundable they (air carrier) had process the refund request and credit the amount to clear trip in last week of Oct/ early first week of Nov 2016.

        Upon request clear trip confirm that they have receive the whole refund from Air Asia on 04.11.2016 and process the whole amount but process the partial refund amounted to Rs. 7392/- instead of Rs.17192/-.

        Cleartrip — Wrongly booked tickets due to misguided advertisement for low rates

        Due to misguided advertisement, I wrongly booked my tickets & realised immediately. Upon contacting them they denied help & deducted half of my fares which includes insurance & other charges which were not highlighted while booking
        I find them fraud & non friendly online booking portal. You will loose half fare in the case of cancellation

          Booked flight ticket on app. It was mentioned that there is fare lock in. But it was not mentioned that additional charges were here. I am fine with additional charges if they are transparent. But when I called them they mentioned that it was mentioned in terms and conditions

          It is same old trick of companies making prices as opaque as possible and terms and conditions hidden in term sheets at expense of customers

          Bad customer service (customer support agent of the cleartrip)
          They will tell you that you have the refund and the amount but they call informed you again that your refund id zero. They will promised to call you back but after two days three days you haven't received any call from the agent.
          Trying online recheduling of my flight but it shows unable to get your details right now. On customer support i am not able to reach, always saying all agents are busy.
          Unable to reach Cleartrip.

              On 9th Nov, 2016 I purchased tickets from Dubai to Kozhikode through ClearTrip. At the time of purchase it clearly stated that the trip was from dubai to kozhikode and after booking ticket as message stating "Your trip to kozhikode has been done" (Find attached screenshot of the message). Once the payment is done I am shocked to see the ticked is booked from Dubai to Kochi.

              I always used to book flight ticket on ClearTrip website and am very much disappointed regarding the above mentioned technical error.

              I only agreed to pay for the ticket based on your description and you must provide the ticket based on the description provided on the time of purchase.

              Following the failure to provide replacement of ticket in-spite of complaint made though phone after booking done on 9th Nov, 2016 12:19 p.m. i am claiming a full refund.

              Also I complained about this issue more then 30 times through mail and phone but no response from ClearTrip till date

                  I book two ticket from clear trip .I use coupon code which give me cashback of 900Rs and at the time of payment I face some problem so I cancel and transection and get back to payment method screen and trying to do it correctly and in between my second try for the payment I get a call from your customer care executive and he said that we have your details saved I will send you one link on your mention email address using that link you can complete your transection. So I use that link and did my transection. but I didn't get any Cash back and issue is regarding case back amount. is been more than 5day now. your customer care executive not giving support to my request.I had conversation with your executive regarding this issue but he replay with very unsupportive way and I request to rise my request to your higher authority but he keeps me on hold and after waiting for a long I cut the call and rise my complete here. Hope you will get back to me regarding my issue.

                    I had booked a ticket from mum to goa for 18th nov 2016 by paying rs. 3701. While booking ticket the terms where shown as refundable but now when i am cancelling ticket it is showing that rs. 2250 will be cancellation charges. Why you guys cant give proper information to customers while booking ticket. Why it is shown as refundable. Bs service is given by cleartrip. So many complaints have been lodged by customers but no repsonse no action is taken. This is a wrong way of working it is cheating done with customers. I need my money back as it was written as refundable then why now cancellation charges are rs. 2250 arround rs. 700 refund i will get.

                    So what is the meaning of refundable in your terms, why it is mentioned then, it is wrong communication given to customers. I need my refund by back after deducting normal ariline charges and not such a huge amount.

                    Atleast you people keep a courtesy to reply to the customers complaint and to take a valid action.

                    This was mentioned on my ticket:-
                    "if cancellation is done through the customer support executives assistance, we will levy rs. 500 per passenger per flight, however, if you do it online using your cleartrip account, we will only levy rs. 250 per passenger per flight as cleartrip processing charges. This is over and above the airline cancellation charges."

                      I have booked a ticket with cleartrip for airlines Air Pegasus for 9th August 2016 for Rs 1755/- for travel between Kochi and Bangalore.

                      According to cleartrip the fight got cancelled by and they told they will give the full refund in 3 working days. Its almost 3 months and now the cleartrip is saying they will give the money only if the airline gives the money.

                      I never dealt with airlines and I paid cleartrip. I need the full refund back.

                      Invoice attached for further details. Please help.

                        About a year back, while I was studying in IIM Kozhikode, I enrolled for forex term, for which I had booked 2 way ticket for France last year (Mumbai- Strasbourg and back to Mumbai). While making payment, I got a call from cleartrip and I asked the representative, what would be deducted if I reschedule/cancel the date in December for flying back to India. The representative replied, 8500 + taxes would be deducted on rescheduling/ cancelling, basis which I booked the tickets. In October, when the schedule of final exams in exchange college was out, I decided to reschedule the ticket to come early. However due to too much cost, i decided to cancel it and buy another ticket (Basis assumption that 8500 + taxes would be charged for cancellation). But after cancelling, I didnt get back any refund. The reason given was-- since 2-way booking was done in one slot, and I had already used it one side. Had i been intimated about it in beginning, I would have gone for other alternatives. the 2-way booking costed me Rs. 58, 000, which is very high for me. (BookingTrip ID #[protected])

                            Hi,

                            I made a flight booking through ClearTrip.com for Delhi to Bangkok(round trip); Trip ID [protected]. My flight TG316, dated 02 Sept 2016 and TG323, dated 12 Sept 2016, i cancelled the tickets the ticket prior 24hrs due to medical issue.I submitted all the documents and my flight was refundable and they are that ur refund is for NIL. I contacted the customer support they said they will look into the matter but now it has been more than 2 month. I called customer support several times but there is no satisfactory response but keep on giving me further time-line. I also contacted the floor supervisor but was of no help. Customer support executives even disconnected my call more than 10 times after asking me to hang up.

                            In regard to my case, I have the following demands:
                            (I) Refund of Rs 23984/- with interest.
                            (II) Compensation for the mental harassment and agony that I have gone through and call charges accrued during my illness.

                            This is for your information and necessary action.

                              The complaint was about a booking made on 17.09.16 in the name of VALSALA KUMARI VALAPPAYIL for 02.12.2016 to travel from KOCHI TO DUBAI by Air India Express and the payment done from Hdfc Net banking mode.

                              I received the ticket printout today and regret for the inconvenince. I tender an unconditional apology to cleartrip.

                                Refund denial, cheating passengers TRIP ID:[protected]
                                I booked a Del- Bah - Del ticket for 26th Jan 2016, return same day. On way back from Bahrain when I reached the airport I was denied boarding as Gulf Air stated that I had not blocked a seat. after making me run pillar to post they say that they usually overbook flights to ensure 100% utilization and passenger have to block their seats for safe guarding their travel. They tried to bribe me first by offering me 200 dinars, then they said they will provide hotel stay and give me a flight next day at 2pm. I called cleartrip and they had no clue of this rule. I cancelled my Gulf Air ticket and on the spot booked an Air India flight. Upon reaching back to Delhi, I wrote to cleartrip regarding my refund and they have been doing nothing but passing the buck to Gulf Air.

                                Below is the mail interaction:-

                                When you clearly see in your system and have received the information from the airline that they cancelled my boarding becoz the flight was overbooked and since they gave me an option only to travel the next day post 2pm.

                                I had to be India for my meetings so I told them that I will book myself in another next available flight. This is very evident that I am not responsible for this cancellation and it is either cleartrip or GulfAir who had done this intentionally.

                                So when you or the airline has taken a call to overbook the flight then why should I be made to pay a full fare. As an agent you had never informed about about early checkin process or reserving a seat 24 hrs prior to departure on Gulf Air is required. When you have the licence to take commission on ticket you also have the responsibility of informing the passenger for that particular airlines rules and regulations.

                                Very cleartrip puts the blame on Gulf Air. When I booked my ticket on cleartrip the rule of blocking your seat should have been mentioned. First Cleartrip asks me to provide a letter from Gulf Air, they agree that the flight was over booked and then very clearly denies every point. Hear the recorded conversation made between the clear trip rep and the caller on the cancellation and its reason.

                                  You have added a small clause on t&c that entire booking should be done using debit card. My wallet had 50rs. And so a small amount was deducted from wallet while booking, so the T&C is not met and so cashback is not provided. You people dont give money to 50% of your customers by doing such things. The app also doesnt tell after applying coupon code that i am paying through wallet.The app should tell that cashback wont apply. There are also cases that your app should be updated in order to receive the cashback...

                                    I have booked 2 rooms in Hotel Suvidha deluxe at Haridwar(12 to 14 Oct 2016) and I got only 1 room till 1 pm. The hotel staff said that the other room is not yet free. When I said that I would cancel the booking, I got the response that go ahead as we do not need a cleartrip booking. The only room provided was so dirty that we have to switch to AC rooms. They gave that readily as it would provide more money to them. We got the second room at 2.45 and the AC room provided had a lot of bedbugs. I was bitten in at least 20 places. After a complaint, they changed the blanket, but it did not changed anything. the whole bed was infected with bedbugs. We had to change the room in the middle of night. I am very disappointed by the hotel services and indirectly by cleartrip that enlists so below par properties on their site. I was the first time user of your site and I believe it would be the last time as well. The linen was not provided in the bathroom in spite of asking for multiple times. We had to pay extra money at the time of checkout for the AC rooms. The staff was very rude and non-cooperative as well. We spoke to the property owner as well and he was behaving like he is doing some favour by giving rooms to us.

                                      The payment was deducted of 13054 from the HDFC Bank Card.
                                      The Clear Trip sent msg the Confirmation is done but then suddenly said the ticket is not booked and canceled.
                                      But card is charged and they are not ready to resolve the issue.

                                        I booked a flight ticket for Jet Airways via them. The airlines rescheduled the flight (basically just changed the flight number). Cleartrip sent me a confusing mail informing about the same. Following is an extract from the same (complete mail in screenshot attached below) -

                                        The flight has been cancelled by the airline.
                                        Alternate flight option given by the airline is as below:

                                        I thought that the flight had been cancelled and I needed to book another one. I did so immediately because I was afraid of fare hikes (I had already paid Rs. 30000 for a return fare within India.) I then asked them about the refund of the original flight and then they told me that the original flight had been rescheduled and not cancelled. On asking the customer care sections of both airlines and cleartrip, they told that the flight had not been cancelled but only the flight number had been changed and since the departure time of the flight remained the same, the airlines won’t give full refund.

                                        There has been inconsistency in what they are saying. This is what their last email said -

                                        As informed earlier, we have clearly mentioned the flight details and specified that airline has cancelled the flight. Airline has cancelled the original flight and confirmed your ticket in another flight with same departure time. Hence, there is no error from our end and cancellation charges as per fare rules will be applicable.

                                        They did not mention anything about the confirmation of alternate flight, or tell me that the this was just a flight number change. So, even though the departure time in the alternate option was the same as that of the original flight, it was not useful to me because it was not explicitly stated that this was the confirmed flight.

                                        ClearTrip customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                        1. Call drops to the extent that you almost give up the change you want to make
                                        2. No attempts to call back
                                        3. Rude & Egoistic staff (2 out of 5 I interacted with)
                                        4. Absolute insensitiveness to customer complaints. Mails receive a robotic revert.. 'Sorry for any inconvenience that 'might' have been caused'
