I am laxmidhar behera, mumbai. When i was trying to book a ticket from bomay to bhubaneswar in your cleartip flight booking, i did not find the two alternative souce of information to put in the last transcation box i, e. One time password either in my mail id or registered cell message box for this transaction. I did not fill in this information, so there is no transaction for this booking. Also no message of final amount of booking amount came in my cell number.

After that your site has sent one mail for the confirmation of ticket by showing the trip id, pnr no. Flight details and without final amount of rs.4711.00 paid amount to go air.


so, how you people are charging my hdfc credit card account
to charge rs.4711.00,

i protest herewith if you do not have the otp number
mentioned in the payment box, (No number of otp has came in
my cell no. Which is registered in my hdfc crdit card) you
can not take it granted to charge my credit card authority
to charge that amount of rs.4711.00. It is very rediculus to
get this type of transaction without otp.

please give this clarification and write to my hdfc credit
card authority to deduct the amount of rs.4711.00

Immediately i tried to mail in the grievance cell and escalation cell over their mail id such as [protected]@cleartrip.com - [protected]@cleartrip.com, but the mail return to me without delivery.

Please treat this as very urgent and the charged amount may please revert to my credit card account.

This is a typical case of not receiving refund. I had booked a flight from Mumbai to Toronto for my son. My son was to travel on a student visa. I booked a British Airways flight on Cleartrip. However, 3-4 days prior to the journey date we called BA to check some queries regarding baggage and we found that they would not allow passengers with a student visa to board this flight. Now nowehere on the website was it mentioned that students will not be allowed to travel on this flight. I immediately called Cleartrip and they told me to wait for 2 days and that they would resolve this matter for me. No response received and so after 2 days I called again and the same reply was given to me. They told me not to cancel the ticket but with a fear of no-show, I cancelled the ticket 2 days prior to the journey. All this was told to the CS agent who answered my call. Unfortunately, Cleartrip does not have any grievance email id where we can write our miseries nor the seniors contact us. It is sheer disappointment and one is left absolutely lost and clueless on their misery. Cleartrip agent told me they will refund only if the Airlines do. However, I booked with Cleartrip and not with the Airlines directly. SO LOGICALLY, CLEARTRIP OWES ME THE REFUND AND NOT THE AIRLINE. After a few days, I got an email stating that the Airline is not giving a refund and hence I have a zero refund. This is disgusting! IT is not a small amount which I spent. We parents send our chidlren with dreams and slog ourlseves out for arranging funds for education. And then to lose 40k in such nonsense is a heartbreak causing stress!
If there is anyone responsible from Cleartrip reading this post, I request you to look into this matter and help me get my money back.

    I had booked tickets from cleartrip website. Your trip id is [protected]. Please use this trip id for any communication with us. We flew from mumbai to leh on may 21, 2016 and on our return from leh to delhi on may 28, 2016 we were informed by jetairways that cleartrip had not paid them for the tickets hence our names did not figure in the passenger list. We frantically called cleartrip and after much delay we were told sorry about the incident and were asked to buy new tickets which cost us 1.25 lacs plus hotel stay and travel and the same was promised to be reimbursed once we used the same. For the past 1 week we are calling and mailing the details and no one is bothered to respond not hear leave alone refund the huge amount apart from the harassment we have had to go through for no fault of ours.

      My name is jigar narendrakumar joshi. I had purchased an air ticket from cleartrip (Online travel booking company) for round-trip from mumbai to dammam, saudi arabia on 13th march, 2016. My flight for dammam was dated on 17th march 2016. I had a return flight to mumbai which is scheduled on 15th april 2016 (After 28 days). Due to unavoidable circumstances, i have to extend my stay at saudi arabia. At the time of booking, i already purchased an air ticket with refundable option. Now today when i have submit for cancellation of my ticket from dammam to mumbai. I got a mail mentioning "nil" refundable amount. Though having a refundable ticket, i am not able to get refund. Which is totally non-judgmental. I am extremely disappoint with the matter. I have sent mails to lodge my complain and tried to get refund, but cleartrip is adamantly refusing for refund. Their excuses (Prevaricating the matter) are uploaded in a pdf file on google drive along with my ticket, mail communications, refund details, and fair rules of the cleartrip.

      Their response for my first mail was"the ticket is non - refundable", then i sent them image showing my refundable ticket, over which they replied that "you have done the partial journey (Mumbai - dammam), so that the remaining partial fare can not be refunded as per our rules". I again mailed them with snapshot of their fare rules (They regularly mentioned at the time of booking), which clearly shows that, "partial fare shall be returned if the ticket is refundable".
      Now their reply is, "we would request you to kindly register yourself with cleartrip using the same email address mentioned on your booking. Once you have registered yourself, you can view the fare rules for your booking where it mentions"after departure"the fare is non-refundable."

      It means if a customer purchase refundable ticket for any travel, cleartrip is showing different fare rules for a customer who has purchase tickets using sign in option and the others, who purchased ticket w/o signed in. This is how cleartrip is cheating with customers.

        Hi,

        Wanted to let you know that I had a pathetic experience with Clear Trip. I booked a hotel in Mukteshwar for a two day holiday. Booking was made three days prior to the trip. On our way to Mukteshwar, we received a call to inform us that the hotel is not available. There was some network issue at cleartrip due to which they didn't get the message from hotelier and made the booking. They said that they are looking for an alternative and will get back.
        We kept waiting for their call and no call back was received. When we reached Mukteshwar, we call clear trip multiple times and spoke with multiple representatives but no resolution was given.
        We kept waiting for clear trip for almost 2 hours to get back to us with an alternative.
        It was raining heavily at 7 pm in the evening and we had no place to go. It was a peak season and 2-3 hotels that we enquired from had no availability. It is very small place and there are not many hotels over there.
        In the end, at around 7:15, we received a call and that the rep said that they are cancelling the booking and initiating the refund as they cant find another hotel for us.

        The hotelier later informed that they informed Clear trip the same day when the booking was made that they don't have rooms available.

        Very bad experience with clear trip. Will never use it in future and will never recommend it to anybody.

          Hello,

          I have book hotel using Clear Trip on 28th May 2016 in Mysore and i got confirmation of hotel details after paying money. When i went to hotel for checkin they are telling no rooms available and they didn't got any confirmation from Clear Trip. I was struggled like anything with 3 Families. I keep on trying to Clear Trip Customer Care number however they are not responding and putting keep on hold. Also hotel authorities confirm when we dont have rooms available but Clear Trip still keep on booking for same hotel rooms.

          This is completely fraud & cheating public. I do not have any alternative option to book another hotel as they all no rooms available entire Mysore due to Weekend and too many of tourist public presence.

          I trusted this service because of the trust they make me very unhappy with the services. My entire 3 Families slept in Car as do not have any available rooms because of this service.

          After next day i contacted again Clear Trip Customer Care and conveyed the experience was held however they are simply telling sorry and refund the money.

          This services seriously has to be closed as public struggling with families like anything.

          Till now my funds not yet credited and they should have pay me the penalty for this inconvenience happened to me.

          Kindly request you please take necessary action and justice this concern.

          We was struggling like anything on that night along with our 6Months old baby. I'll be forwarding this Clear Trip bad service to public notice informing do not use Clear Trip Services. This service only for cheating & Fraud for making money.

            I booked one mini delux room at ooty for stay 23/05 and 24/05 in green apple residency but i did not used that hotel room. I paid around 2900/- via cleartrip. So hotel owner did not refund any amount. I informed to customer care for the same. I did not have internet facility so i could not make complaint. So please return my booking amount of that hotel.

            Dear sir,

            I booked hotel in green apple residency for 23/05 and 24/05 night in OOTY. When I reached room was so poor and small I was not able to stat there. So I tried to canceled it via telephone conversation but all customer care was going bzy. Hotel was not ready to give any cancellation refund as it was booked by clear trip. I was in journey so I could not complaint online. Now today I came back. Kindly take action and at least refund my booking amount 2868/-.

              Flight from ams, amsterdam to mumbai. Klm royal dutch operated by jet airways kl-3815.

              We had asked for the refund but yet there is no refund. They should in all probability refund something around 20, 000 inr. Please see to this case.

                I have booked a flight for 4th june and money was deducted form my card but booking was not done and in spite of repeated mail, i have not received any reply from them in spite of repeat ed calling and email. I dont whethersett my boozing is done or nother and should i book my tickets again. Pathetic situation for me as i have no idea about my trip i'd and booking detail. There is no customer care number also where i can directly talk to customer care personnel.

                  I booked an international ticket with clear trip id - [protected] on 18th may 2016. I called customer service before booking and asked them that whether the ticket is refundable or non refundable. The customer service agent confirmed that the ticket is refundable. Even the website showed that ticket is refundable at the time of making payment. As soon i made the payment of inr 58k, the ticket i got in my email stated that it is non refundable. To my utter shock i called customer service twice however they said ticket is non refundable. Customer support service is pathetic as you cannot get through their 24*7 number and people providing customer services know nothing about the business and are highly unprofessional & in knowledgeable. I spoke to sunita, santosh & nidhi verma from customer support team and all of them provided me incorrect information.

                  This is sheer misrepresentation of facts by clear trip management. This is unlawful mean to extract money from customers by misrepresenting the facts. I am attaching the video & snapshot while booking which clearly says that ticket is refundable. They are increasing sales by cheating indian customers and clear trip should be banned from providing services in india. I would take this case to dgca & consumer court and would gather customer support to boycott clear-trip.

                  I need clear-trip to immediately change my ticket to refundable else refund my entire amount in next 48hrs.

                    Cleartrip has looted my 1000 Rs against of reservation charges. Actually i was booking a flight from New Delhi To Goa and there was the option of reserve booking, and they were asking for 1000 rs but they are not adjusting this amount in my total flight charges.

                    It's a cheating, no clear information was present on website except that "It's a non refundable amount"

Its 24 May now and I have not received any refund. The customer care number is either not reachable or does not give an option to talk to any executive.

                        My name is Girish. I booked two rooms at Rajam Lodge, Kanchipuram through ClearTrip. The booking was made on a 24Hrs check-in basis - checking-in on 6th May and check-out on 7th May. I was traveling with my family including a kind. I wanted to ckeck-in by 6:00 AM on 6.May. On 5th May by 6:30 PM I called the Hotel and the Hotel executive said the checking time is 12:00 Noon to 12:00. They asked me to contact ClearTrip for any concerns.

                        I called ClearTrip customer care ([protected]) by 6:45PM and told the ClearTrip executive my concern and asked him to address this on priority. He said he will look into, this matter and get back to me soon. Since I did not receive any call back for a long time, I called ClearTrip again by 08:15 PM for which I was told that the concern is being addressed and I will get a callback soon. I received a call from ([protected]) at 8:45 PM and was told that the issue is being discussed by the Marketing Team and I will be given a final solution in 15 minutes. Since again I did not receive any call from I tried contacting ([protected]) a few times. Eventhough the line got connected and charged no one picked the line. I called ([protected]) multiple times between 10:00 PM and 00:15 AM. No one answered the calls except an automated response "all ClearTripers are busy". Finally, I got through the call by 00:25AM. The person at the other end told that that is Airline Support and Hotel support will be available only between 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. I said I talked to a support person even till 8:45 PM and was awaiting a confirmation. This person told me that no Hotel support will be provided before 7:00 AM. I asked for an escalation contact, which he said he cannot provide and my only option is to contact [protected] irrespective of how important and urgent the requirement is. Finally I had to leave aside all hope of getting support from ClearTrip on my hotel booking and try my luck of convincing the hotel authorities. TOO BAD CUSTOMER SUPPORT OF CLEARTRIP.

                            Their response for my first mail was" the ticket is non- refundable", then i sent them image showing my refundable ticket, over which they replied that "you have done the partial journey (Mumbai- dammam), so that the remaining partial fare can not be refunded as per our rules".I again mailed them with snapshot of their fare rules (They have mentioned at the time of booking), which clearly shows that, "partial fare shall be returned if the ticket is refundable".
                            Now their reply is, "we would request you to kindly register yourself with cleartrip using the same email address mentioned on your booking. Once you have registered yourself, you can view the fare rules for your booking where it mentions "after departure" the fare is non-refundable."

                            It means if a customer purchase refundable ticket for any travel they are showing different fare rules for a customer who has signed in and purchase tickets and the others, who purchased ticket w/o signed in. This is how cleartrip is cheating with customers.

                            It has been over a month since I have lodge a complaint, but still I do not get any response. Please check below given google docs link to refer documents.

                            My name is Jigar Narendrakumar Joshi. I had purchased an air ticket from Cleartrip (Online travel booking company) for Round-trip from Mumbai to Dammam, Saudi Arabia on 13th March, 2016. My flight for Dammam was dated on 17th March 2016. I had a return flight to Mumbai which is scheduled on 15th April 2016 (After 28 days). Due to unavoidable circumstances, I have to extend my Stay at Saudi Arabia. At the time of Booking, I already purchased an Air Ticket with Refundable option.Now today when I have submit for cancellation of my ticket from Dammam to Mumbai.I got a mail mentioning "NIL" refundable amount. Though having a refundable ticket, I am not able to get refund.which is totally non-judgmental.I am extremely disappoint with the matter. I have sent mails to lodge my complain and tried to get refund, but Cleartrip is adamantly refusing for refund.                             It means if a Customer Purchase Refundable ticket for any travel, Cleartrip is showing different Fare rules for a Customer who has Purchase tickets using sign in option and the Others, Who purchased ticket w/o Signed In. This is how Cleartrip is cheating with customers.

                            that's round trip Hyderabad ⇄ Dubai Trip ID :[protected] hyd to dxb and dxb to hyd and it shown with inn 3, 4 working days its will credit in you account refund amount, now 4 days finished todays is 29march 2017 still I didn't receive my refund amount
                            ticket price is with tax AED 1196 but they cut 40+17 convenience fee refund amount is 1129 AED but its shown in my cleartrip account status its already credited but I don't receive

                              I booked 4 Flight tickets through Cleartrip from Kochi to Bangalore on 2nd April, 2016 at 7.45 Am -Jet airways and paid Rs.6650 . But the flight was cancelled by airlines and informed me on 30th March. They could not accomadate us to any other flight in this date. Jet airways person told me that you will get full refund and issue full refund reciept to me. But Cleartrip only gave me an amount of Rs.3802/- bugs only - A clear case of CHEATING

                                Flight ticket booked with wrong details

                                I have booked 2 tickets Bangalore to London separately for my parents (Trip ID : [protected], [protected]). On my cleartrip dashboard it shows both the tickets as confirmed for both the passengers, but when I checked with the airliner (Emirates), they told that both the tickets were booked under same name and hence one ticket is automatically cancelled.
                                When I raised this issue with cleartrip, they said they will check with the concerned...

                                I have booked a flight with trip id [protected] via www.cleartrip.com . i have paid an amount of 3576 via paytm wallet and 603 by cleartrip wallet. It was mentioned on the website that if i pay by paytm wallet more than 3000 then i should get a cashback of 500. It was not mentioned that the payment should by one mode. I talked to the customer care 3 times they are just repeating the same thing. The offer is not mentioned clearly on the website.

                                  I have booked a hotel thru cleartrip, made payment online; i have received a confirmation voucher with all the details on 4th april, 2016, now on 12th april 2 days before my date of journey i called up cleartrip just formally to know my hotel booking confirmation status, although confirmation invoice was already with me.But then cleartrip people were saying booking is not confirmed, there has been some issues. I told them to take it on priority as it was only 2 days left for my trip, i called them 5 times since then, and emailed them almost 6 times, but still they didn't send any confirmation. I am to travel tomorrow 14th april, 2016, i cannot imagine how the hell they are playing with people's money and emotion, why should they take the money beforehand if they cannot confirm booking in the end ?

                                    Got hotel booking (Trip id: [protected]) done through cleartrip on

                                    20th march 2015 and also got a call that booking is confirmed.

                                    On the travel date 25th march (Just an hour before check-in time),

                                    When i was on my way to my destination, i get a call from cleartrip

                                    That booking is not confirmed.

                                    In spite of making full online payment 5 days before my travel date,

                                    They tell me on the day i had to travel that my booking is not

                                    Confirmed. They kept on sitting on this for 5 days and didn't bother

                                    To tell me. If you could not confirm rooms why not tell consumer. Why

                                    They made me suffer

                                    Not only this they didn't even bother to make an alternate arrangement

                                    For me and just told me to take my money in refund which also would

                                    Take 3-4 days to process. They stranded me in the middle with nowhere

                                    To go and with no money left in my account.

                                    Customer support was even worse.For almost 7 hours during our journey

                                    We were on call with them to make alternate arrangements but not even

                                    A single time we got a call back. Everytime we called they said

                                    They'll get back to us but no one called. So we had to call again and

                                    Again getting starting with trip id, other details all over again. I

                                    Fail to understand why not we were given a single point of contact to

                                    Resolve our issue. We had to go through this all over again and again

                                    Numerous time and not a single time i got call back.

                                    Finally the alternate arrangement made were pathetic and were cheaper

                                    Than our original booking value (Tokyo house hotel and backpackers

                                    Cafe). We already had seen bad reviews for them that's why we didn't

                                    Choose them in first place.We were given standard rooms when we had

                                    Paid for semi-deluxe. Also we the room which we were given had a

                                    Manhole in it. Which i after argument with hotel owner got changed.

                                    Have photos for this.I have the screenshots with me where the standard

                                    Rooms in the alternate arrangement hotel (New backpackers )were

                                    Available for rs 3200 on the date of booking whereas i paid rs 8339

                                    For original booking.


                                    While accepting the alternate arrangement i was told that remaining

                                    Amount would be refunded to me but it has not been done till now.

                                    Kindly penalize cleartrip for such a negligent service and keeping

                                    Consumer in dark till the last moment even after receiving full

                                    Payment of rs 8339 online 5 days beforehand and get me a refund.

                                      I made a booking for maldives hotel chaaya reef dated 31/12/15 to 4/01/16 through cleartrip on 30/10/15, this was a non refundable booking.I accidentally clicked on the cancel button, the booking got cancelled, I immediately contacted the cleartrip representatives that it was by mistake and i want re instatement of the booking, they assured me booking will be re instated then i contacted the hotel directly they said they havent received any booking voucher also cleartrip people said this is an expedia booking so we will have to talk to them, whole 1 and a half months they made a fool out of me and on few days left for the booking they said they will give me refund if i make a fresh booking i said okay i need a written consent on this, on this I did not receive any consent, after that the hotel was all booked, then they said you have not booked the hotel in the given time so we cannot give you any refund.The amount was for 1, 02, 139 it is not a small amount, please help me out
