Dear Customer care team, I would like to inform you that I have booked hotel in Goa (details enclosed) Trip Id : [protected]. This booking was confirmed by your website stating that we have to pay balance amount before 17th December 2015. We have done our travel reservations according. Yesterday on 9th December 2015 we got a call from customer care executive informing that we have to pay rest of amount within 2-3 day to confirm the hotel booking with reference to Trip Id : [protected]. When we informed that booking information showing that rest amount need to pay before 17th December they handed the call to some other executive. This executive informed us that this hotel is shutdown so your booking should be shifted to other hotel. We enquired but it seems the information being given by your customer care executive is false and misleading. Also, executive informed that your booking amount shall be refunded if you agree. Over phone we informed that regarding refund or booking elsewhere, we will make our decision and according inform you. Surprising, today we are getting an email from your customer support saying “We were trying to contact you, but there was no response.” We got three conversation with customer care executives which are available in our mobile phone. It is also mentioned in the email that your reservation is shifted to some other hotel. I would like to inform you that after lot of survey we have finalized a hotel and booked. It would not be possible for us to make any change in our plan. Cleartrip is a big name in online booking today but such kind of treatment with the customers is really unethical and illegal. Your compulsion for moving us into another hotel is breach in your policy and definitely lead to damage of your image. Our whole vacation plan is getting ruined by your mismanagement and misleading actions. We are not left with much option to knock the door of consumer court due to your mismanagement.     Hi Due to recent issue in Chennai i have called customer care [protected] and their customer care given special button to cancel Chennai trip and get full refund. I have cancel ticket and i have recorded call and email still they are not refunding my money. Since last 4 days i am calling on customer care but no one pick call and ring is going on. i have send email on [protected]@cleartrip.com i got auto reply with ticket no 14802216 but after that no one reply me on the same. Fraud company and now i have only one option to raise dispute with my card issuing bank. I request all customer do not waste time and talk to your bank they will give you refund once you provide email proof.

      I've alreadly made a complaint a few weeks ago about two "one way trip did not get booked now, but we will try to confirm it-Please wait" subjected mail from ClearTrip. It ended with half-success, because one of my complaint was managed and received a letter with a refund promised in couple of weeks. But in the other hand my other ticket is still pending. No further emails with the processed booking or refund. Please cancel my other booking with number: [protected] (image attached) as well and refund the amount.

        I tried booking flight from COK to JAI. I was displayed the following flight details. COK to BOM 9W 406 BOM to JAI 9W 2053 I tried booking as per details above. The same was confirmed at the booking details page. But when the payment was processed and the booking was done, the following flights were booked. TRIP ID [protected] COK to BOM 9W 406 BOM to JAI 9W 416 Actually, me and my 3 year old son had booked tickets for BOM to JAI on 9W 2053 and we wanted to return from Mumbai in same flight. Now, with this app error my wife is left alone and she has never traveled in flight before. I confirmed whether I booked the right flight, I again visited the same page which showed the same flight that I tried booking i.e. COK to BOM 9W 406 and BOM to JAI 9W 2053. AND the flights which were booked were not being showed. So, it is quite clear, that I clicked on the right flight and the error was on part of CLEARTRIP. When I filed a complaint on Customer care they said they will revert within 24 hours. Now it is almost 4 days, no reply. I e-mailed them the complaint not once, twice but 4 times but still no response. Every time a complain ticket is given. I enquired from the airlines, they said its error on part of the agent. As the ticket is not changeable or refundable, nothing can be done. I am left with no option but to bear approx Rs. 7000 for Cancellation and fresh booking.           I would like to express my dissatisfaction over the services being provided so far by #cleartrip. I have made atleast 50 calls so far in last 6 days just to do a Name Correction for my spouse on Ticket. But it seems, it is still not resolved. Whenever I call up customer service number to speak to customer service representative, everytime I get different response regarding my case that "our internal ticketing team is not responding and there is no update from them" It seems front-end customer care representatives are not able to contact their internal team ticketing team. This is really horrible and un-professional when company like cleartrip, dont have optimized ways to contact their internal team. Another un-professional instance, there seems to be no way to escalate our requests and there are no escalation matrix when request don't get resolved within timeline. As a customer, I wanted to escalate it through their supervisors but i got even worse experience. Their supervisors doesn't keep their commitment and everytime when ever I reach supervisor, they ask to wait for 48 hours. Its now the 3rd time they have crosscheck their own deadline. And because of this mess, I'm feeling the pain. Very recently, I called cleartrip customer care I got know that Cleartrip is waiting for the confirmation from British Airways to update the correct name in ticket, but when I called British Airways, I got reply that everything which needs to be done has been already communicated and explained to Cleartrip agent. So there is clearly a miss communication happening and wrong message is being conveyed to customers like me. How much time do you thing is allowed just to update the passenger name in a ticket???????? I have given #cleartrip more the 6 days and still its not done Please note that her(spouse's) passport doesn't have the surname, so please get this corrected accordingly. I want to escalate this matter to the highest level so as to get things done in timely manner. And I hope to get confirmation and new e-ticket generated with correct name(for spouse) as soon as possible. My trip id = [protected]

            Dear Mr Nikhil Godbole, Tried contracting the Clear Trip site through numerous and ever-changing IVR options- but was unable to get in touch. Wonder if it deliberate on the part of your concern. Nevertheless-would like to brief you on the awful situation I am being lead into. - My name is Animesh Mitra, a M.Stat student of Indian Statistical Institute and was to travel to Chennai to the ISI Chennai on 5th Dec'15 and returning on 9th Dec'15. Due to the natural calamities that overpowered the state with disastrous proportion (our prayers are with all the people affected) - both the flights were cancelled. But I am yet to get the refund and the airlines have advised me to get in touch with the booking website - which unfortunately n my part is - cleartrip.com.               I booked ticket through clear trip application and paid through pay zapp.. Once payment was processed the application froze and my card was charged. Hdfc pay zapp days transaction is successful and cleartrip says they did not receive the payment. trip id is [protected]. Now I'm being asked to wait for 7 working days. Now I don't have funds to book another ticket. I don't know what to do. Will never use cleartrip again.

              Simply a cheating company with no commitment to their customers. Extremely poor customer service with telephone services intentionally put in busy mode, deduction of cancellation amount even when airlines give full refund, no working e-mails to raise customer complaints...never ever book a ticket through Cleartrip even if rates are much higher while booking directly through airlines !
              Cleartrip is still operational or closed down?? No contact nos are working. Made a booking in Emirates and when I contacted Emirates to reschedule the ticket they informed that cleartrip made a request to refund... Without customers discretion how can they do that???Anyone got a contact no or a email ID.. One of the worst experiences I ever had..Trip ID is[protected]

                Sir, I have booked two tickets from this website and later cancelled the same with cancellation charges of rs 200 each . They mailed me saying the refund will take some 7 days so I wAited for their sAid time . Recently when I call up their customer care and ask about my refund they told me that the amount is unrefundable . However, I wasn't informed about it before I would cancel .the ticket was actually refundable which later they say it's not and they are not ready to refund any amount . It is totally unacceptable to include hidden charges and fool customers plus the website is improper as it don't give proper information about the charges and all . It's an absolute harrssment and cheat .my trip Id is[protected] .i want my balance refunded

                  Hi, Myself Abhishek Sonawane and i have a complain regarding the misguidance for the hotel booking on (27-29 nov 2015) in matheran by the cleartrip people. At time of booking i was told about Hotel Cecil in matehran which would be having 3star amenities and according to that i re- confirmed for the 3 star amenities with the executive (Ms Rupali) and i booked (cleartrip ID- [protected]) paying the entire amount in advance thru CC payment but when i actually visited the hotel i was surprised to see the hotel as it was not as i was been told while booking (no basic amenities like - no cupboard, the toilet was broken at flush tank, no fan regulator etc). Later on the same day at 10.55am when i called the cleartrip i was speaking with Nazeen for nearly( 30mins) and asked her to relocate my hotel or refund my money to which she said she will get back to me speaking with her senior (Ms Nileshwari) which they did not do. i again called them (11.51am )this time Amit spoke to me (20mins) he also gave me the same answer but again no reply call from him or the senior (Ms Nileshwari). Later me and family both were frustrated and helpless then to stay in the hotel on 27/11/15. Next morning (28/11/15) i decided to check out and i asked the ho-tiler to acknowledge to which he said no bcoz (Prachi- another senior) from cleartrip asked him to do that I again called cleartrip now this time i spoke to Aniket (32mins)again i had to brief him what happened he kept me hold for a lot time and then answered me that he spoke to Mr. Sarath Kumar(area manager) and has refused to even speak to me and cannot do the refund or cannot tell the hotelier to give acknowledgement of my check out then a got very angry and i left the hotel insearch of new hotel. Now this is a clear mis guidance and a very very bad customer service to the customer. When a person has gone to a hill station to enjoy his holiday with his family trusting the travel agency to book a proper hotel its found that he is complete betrayed and no courtesy for the senior person to even speak with the customer who is calling 3 - 4 time from matheran spending roaming charges for nearly 1.20hrs. Cleartrip has completed ruined me and my family holiday trip. How could they do this been such a reputed name in the travel industry. They behaved like a local travel agency. Cleartrip has clearly shown that they are only concerned about money and no concern regarding satisfaction of the customer. Just leave the customer if there is any problem occurring with them. I to find a hotel on saturday going to each hotel in matheran which was very hick tic and embarrassing for me and my family . I had to spend double then what i had payed to stay in matheran bcoz of cleartrip. Is cleartrip going to repay my money, my enjoyment, my relaxation, my family pleasure, me & my family's holiday dis satisfaction moments which i had planned. If cleartrip is doing such fuss in a local trip then i am not hoping for any good service for big trip or abroad trips. I request all the people booking from cleartrip to re think as these people only love money and no concern about customers statisfaction and speacially the seniors (whose name i have mentioned) they should be thrown out of the company as they don't have time and don't feel to aleast speak once to customer for his dis satisfaction. I hope our Indian consumer complaint forum takes some action on cleartrip.

                    Booked a train ticket from Jaipur to Agra 2015/11/19 and got 2 messages with the subject: "Your JAIPUR-AGRA FORT one-way trip did not get booked now, but we will try to confirm it-Please wait!" The amount was deducted twice from my credit card and i have no received any mail or booking confirmation so far. So basically i have two problem: - The Cleartrip made me payed the booking twice. - I didn't received comfirmation on any of them.

                      I bought railway ticket from www.cleartrip.com on 22/11/2015 I got email back that the booking didn't go though but my debit card been changed.(as show below) I have been waiting until today 25/11/2015 to get more email from them either I will have my ticket or I will get my refund. I have written to cleartrip twice but got nothing back from them. Please help to sort this problem. I'm still willing to have my ticket but if it's not possible, please do refund process.                           Booked a train trip on 19/11/2015 got this message Your IDGAH AGRA JN-VARANASI JN one-way trip did not get booked now, but we will try to confirm it-Please wait!. No conformation was sent with email or no tickets delivered to my account, never received any other emails and no details of any trips in my cleartrip account. Tried telephoning and emailing customer services, no response. Checked bank statement and I have been deducted the amount of Rs. 2, 844. The train Journey has now departed. Trip ID [protected]. I would never use this company again to book travel.

                          I have exactly same situation. Agra-Varanasi one-way trip booked 20/11/2015. I've got email "Trip ID[protected] Your AGRA FORT-VARANASI JN one-way trip did not get booked now, but we will try to confirm it-Please wait!", and i can't see any tickets in my account.
                          Now i'll try to refund the money using my bank.

                            I had the worst kind of experience with Cleartrip. I booked a ticket using Cleartrip App and my account was debited with the amount but the ticket was not booked. I called in to checkwith HDFC PayZapp executive and they replied me that the amount was successfully transferred from their end and provided me with the below details: Acquiring Reference No:74799205323000037706822 Merchant Reference No:37755012 When I called the cleartrip executives they said that the transaction was declined as they haven't received the amount and provided Trip ID: [protected]. The amount would be auto reversed within 5-7 Working Days depending on the bank. This is the height of ignorance and both the parties (bank and cleartrip)are trying to shift their liability on each other. My only question to this is I have to travel within these 3-4 days and I had no finance to buy the air tickets again. Who is responsible in this case. The parties even though belonging to the customer service industry are not willing to respond to the e-mails and are not ready to co-operate. Cleartrip charges Rs.250 as a service charge for booking flight ticket so if you are charging aren't you liable for it .I am also unable to understand While deducting the amount it didnt took 5-7 days, it just took few microseconds now to get it refunded I have to wait for 5-7days. If this issue is not resolved immediately I will take it to consumer forum and social websites. And I will ensure that all the people in my circle won't be availing any further service from ClearTrip.
                            Same thing happened with me yesterday while booking through payzap and money for deducted and clear trip is saying that they did not receive the money. Hdfc payzapp is saying transaction was successful. Trip id provided by clear trip is: [protected].. Amount is huge and I don't have enough funds to book again.. They are asking to wait for 7-10 days. Don't know what to do

                              Hi

                              Please note that I had made a reservation for 24th Oct 2015, in Hotel
                              Saraswati at Mount Abu through the clear trip online portal ( Clear Trip
                              ID [protected]). Since I had the confirmed voucher from clear trip so I
                              reached Mount Abu with my family in the morning hours. However, the same
                              morning I was informed that the booking was cancelled and that I will be
                              either getting the full refund or else Cleartrip would be making an
                              alternate arrangement for my stay in Mount Abu. After calling up the
                              customer care several times, I was told at 4 o' clock in the afternoon that
                              an alternate arrangment was made in Hotel Udaigargh. But when I went for
                              check in, I found out that it was a below standard property with an
                              inappropriate location and hence not suitable for my family stay. Hence I
                              again called up the customer care and requested them to cancel my earlier
                              hotel booking and give me the refund. The customer care executive told me
                              that he would be canceling the booking and process the refund but for
                              that I need to hold on with the call so that he would do the needful. I
                              hold onto the call for more than 15 mins but the concern person didn't
                              reverted back. I called up customer care several timed after this but no
                              one helped me with the refund.

                              Hence I hereby request you through Email to cancel the bookings and help me
                              with the refund. It was a very harassing experience with cleartrip but I
                              hope that the refund process would be hassle free.

                                Trip Id: [protected] Booked a multi city ticket over CT... Chennai Kolkata, Kolkata to Agartala and Agartala to Chennai - for three persons. Cancelled the second person ticket completely after getting a split PNR from the airline as per the advise of the clear trip executive. The third person ticket of Agartala to Chennai was rescheduled as Kolkata to Chennai with the airline and also received a ticket from them. But after several days, the refund was not received. Called the airlines and they told that I have to talk to the CT people. Spoke to them and they said that I have to cancel with them also. I repeatedly told them about the rescheduling of the Agartala to Chennai as Kolkata to Chennai and told them I have a separate ticket now and the cancellation with them should not affect this confirmed new ticket. Based on the advise of the supervisor, I cancelled the Agartala Chennai PNR. But to my shock, the new Chennai Agartala rescheduled ticket has been cancelled and intimation received from airline. Called to find out the reason-again was told to contact CT. When I contacted them, they are not able to give any proper response though I called them several times. Call back was promised. But no one bothered to call me back. Causing unnecessary loss and mental agony. I had to do the booking again with the airline. But because of the negligence of CT, I am loosing money. Planning to take them to the consumer court. ...[protected]

                                  ‎ClearTrip‬ site nowhere indicates if you're booking a hand baggage only flight. You only find out after you pay & get the e-ticket.Even after informing this to customer care & them confirming this is a technical error (after denying for the longest time initially), no action has been taken for the last 2 weeks, since I reported this issue. Please note the 'technical error' also has still not been rectified on the website either let alone ClearTrip reverting to me with a solution. I refuse to travel on a 'hand baggage only fare' and pay extra to check in my luggage because of technical error on the portal.

                                    I have done one transaction for booking train ticket on 19th October 2015, money got debited from my account but ticket was not booked, I asked for refund but till now they have not done, now they are blaming IRCTC for delay Trip number [protected]. Please do the needful

                                      I had been cancelled my air ticket on jetairways of Amount Rs.9082 but the refunding amount credited to the bank is only Rs.682..I am not getting a satisfactory reason for this low amount...while I called the costumer support help line the told me that it was anon refundable ticket...while I booked through my mobile it was not mentioned that is a non refundable ticket.

                                        I made a booking on cleartrip on 18 sep 2015 - but it never reflected with hotel - hotel says we dont have any booking from cleartrip - since 2 months i am continuously chasing cleartrip - but this people never revert back - they only have one answer we will call back and no one ever calls back - this is disgusting - no one is bothered ther - no matter how many calls you do - this is the second booking and i am facing the same problem - can anyone help me to take legal action against them
