Trip ID-[protected]. I booked my flight ticket from Cleartrip.com, I cancelled this ticket on 19th Jan 2016. The total cost of the ticket is 70, 044. After complaining several times Cleartrip replied that they have refunded the amount of 41, 480(Rs. 18, 147.0 to Credit Card and Rs. 23, 337.0 to Wallet.). I then tried to transfer the amount from wallet to my bank. Cleartrip maintains a stupid policy that one cannot transfer money from wallet to bank. There must be regulations to transfer money from wallet back to your card / bank a/c like paytm and other e-commerce websites. They can't force the customers to buy. This is absurd. Cheating at highest level. Never ever book tickets on cleartrip.

    I, Surabhi Agrawal made a flight booking from Delhi to Amritsar of trip ID: [protected] via Cleartrip and the company has wronged me in the following ways:
    1. I booked flights on 11th December 2015 to and fro for 17th December 2015 and 20th December 2015 but they were booked for 17th January 2016 and 20th January 2016. Instantly on receipt of tickets, Cleartrip was informed that the ticket had been erroneously issued but the customer care service at +91-[protected] was unhelpful and said that they will contact within an hour.
    2. They did not contact, and we had to call the service repeatedly for an update. This practise was repeated a multiple of times for extension of 12, 24 and 48 hours, at each point with a demand of more time required to resolve the issue.
    3. Ultimately, Cleartrip service personal informed us on 14th December that the mistake was on our part according to their IT logs. I requested for a copy sent to me on my registered email address and was informed that within 24 hours the request will be processed but I only received a copy of the IT logs on 25th December after incessantly asking them. The authenticity of the document received is doubtable.
    4. On cancellation of the tickets, I received an email on 14th December 2015 informing that the processed refund is 0. This violates the policy of returning the taxes after deducting the cancelation charges.
    5. Upon contacting the customer service yet again, I was informed that due to amendment of the tickets, the refund is nil but I did not amend the tickets. Only and merely an enquiry with respect to amendment was made and no amendment was instructed.
    6. Again, they said that the Jet airways have refunded zero amount to Cleartrip and hence, no refund was given to us but on contacting Jet airways, we were informed of a significant amount refunded back to Cleartrip on 17th December 2015.
    7. On 22nd December 2015, the customer care personal finally agreed to look into the matter after we informed that Jet airways has informed us that they have refunded the taxes.
    Thus, the company has been repeatedly offending and damaging. Please look into the matter. I request a full refund of the tickets of Rs. 26, 592.

      I had a problem with my booking, trip ID [protected]. Because the price was almost doubled AFTER I pressed the pay now button, I was of course not satisfied. Therefore I did not want to go to the hotel. What should I have done? There were two options, money back, but Cleartrip takes a big fee for booking back my money. Of course I am also not satisfied with this option, as it was probably a software error. In addition to the 300 RS Cleartrip fee comes the conversion charges of my credit card company. Another option could be to put it into the Wallet, a new feature on Cleartrip. Of course I carefully studied the rules for about an hour. But I did not find that I would not be able to use it with train bookings. Because this is the only division of Cleartrip I am reasonably satisfied with, you should have warned beforehand. On the basis of this incomplete information and the panic of the moment, I had only a few minutes to cancel the hotel, I decided to cancel the hotel and use the new Wallet feature.
      -Please refund my money to my credit card number, because you increased the price making a price agreement with me (after I pushed the pay button, which sends the details to my credit card company).
      -Please make clear your rules for coupons. And absolutely warn when a coupon is used before, that is before the customer gives permission to take the money from the credit card.
      -Please, remove the software error. I did see the error because I am very careful and conscientious with my payments and always triple check, but many other customer might not see it, and would pay much more than they thought. I would put this under the category of fraud (maybe unintentional, but if so correct your error).
      Until these things have been solved and/or answered I will be extremely hesitant to use the Cleartrip services.

        My trip id is [protected] for a two 2 Room Service Apartment in Goa from 23rd-26th Jan. I have booked the same for Rs. 27, 571. As per the cancellation policy on your website which clearly sites that Refundable Cancellation Policy is applicable with more than 24 Hours Notice. So, the Cancellation was done today morning which is still 3 days away from my Booking period. As per the mail, that I received on refund you have forfeited my entire Rs 27, 571.
        It is completely injustice at my end.

          Date of incident: 26-27 Dec 2015

          I booked a hotel with cleartrip.com, I paid the booking amount online and got booking confirmation.
          I was traveling late in the night, and when I reached hotel I found there is no such booking for me at hotel.
          Hotel staff said they have no booking on my name and no communication at all about it from cleartrip.com.

          I called cleartrip support and they said that we couldn't confirm your booking with hotel.
          I asked for any solution and all they could say is we can initiate your refund process.

          I was traveling with family and by the time i reached hotel it was around 2:30 in night.
          That time was most horrible/embarrassing for me. By chance the hotel was full so I had to roam around to get a room in another hotel.
          By chance I had cash in hand otherwise it could have been more worse.
          At that time in night with my wife and an infant baby I had to look for hotels when I had booked a hotel and paid in advance.
          All nearby hotels were full that time, so I had to spend that night at a hotel reception on chairs, it was so much of embarrassing and of mental trauma. My whole trip got disturbed I had to change my further tour plan.

          Strong Feedback: If Cleartrip DO NOT have tie-up any longer with than why not they clear that hotel information from their website because otherwise customers (like me and my family) book the hotel and finally end up to mental harassment situation as the HOTEL PERSON will not allow us to fulfill the booking done via cleartrip - THEY SAY "THEY DONT HAVE ANY TIE UP WITH CLEARTRIP, but the booking was done via cleartrip and hence the mental harassment situation arises in the middle of the night after a long distance journey.

            I have booked Kadkani River Resort, Coorg for 28th check-in on 24th December, due to some emergency I have cancelled my trip on 26th December. They have not refunded my 13174 RS amount and saying to me that I am not falling under seven days rule policy. I am very disappointed with robotic customer care.               I have an activity booked for tomorrow and I am not able to connect with the driver. This is not the first time cleartrip is doing this to me. I have atleast called 109 times Clear trip from morning and I am not able to connect the executive who sees activity department because she is not on seat everytime. Such a ridiculous experience.

                I have cancelled my ticket for 31st Dec 2015 from imphal to Delhi on 27th.                   I booked my flight ticket from HFC smart buy, which actually books the ticket from Cleartrip. I cancelled this ticket on 15th December. After complaining several times Cleartrip replied that they have refunded the amount to HDFC account on 25th December. I checked with HDFC and they say they are not at all aware of any such incident and they did not get any money. Repeatedly I asked Cleartrip and HDFC to get it cleared among themselves and refund the money to me, to which they are not at all responding to me. It is 1 month that I have cancelled my ticket and I still did not get a refund of Rs 2771

                    Hello I had done a hotel reservation from Cleartrip for a couple of days to Coorg. Due to some personal reasons, I had to postpone the journey to coorga nd called cleartrip helpdesk to move my bookings to a later date. they responded back saying that it will be done. I called again after a couple of days to confirm the same and was assured that the change in dates has been done and I will receive the updated hotel reservations in 24-48 hours. But after repeated callings, I did not recieve the email. After 5-6 days, I was told the reservation has been cancelled as I did not travel on that day. Now they are refusing to admit their mistake. Please help.

                      I had booked two room in Hotel RG Palace, Jaipur, Rajasthan, India -- Trip ID [protected]" for two night for 31st Dec to 1st Jan 16. when I called to Hotel they denied for my reservation. they told me they have no any agreement with Clear Trip while I have already paid online via My credit card. Then I had tried whole night to clear trip in roaming but I didn't get any promise from Clear Trip. I Talked with Pradeep (Customer Care Ext.) and two more Senior in night but they didn't give me any solutions. After that I booked anther Hotel in mid night with extra money paid in emergency. This is Fraud Company who promise Making Travel Simple which totally Fake. I will Suggest that No body book any thing from this website.

                        Hi Team, I am a customer in distress writing to you with reference to my booking ID - [protected]. I had made a booking for Pillowrocks Homestay, Wayanad from Cleartrip on 24 Dec 2015. What followed is beyond my comprehension. Below is an account of how things went from bad to worse only because of the incompetent staff at Cleartrip which did the least to solve my issues. I was to check into Pillowrocks on 1st January at 12 noon. Around 10:30 am while I was enroute Wayanad I received a phone call from Cleartrip stating that my booking at Pillowrocks stands cancelled and in lieu of the same I would be getting a different accommodation - Cavalryan homestay. I made it very clear to the Cleartrip representative on the phone that I wasn’t willing to compromise on the quality of this alternate accommodation and it was absolutely unjust for an OTA to make changes to an existing booking at the 11th hour. I had to travel an additional 40 kms to reach Cavalryryan homestay by paying 1100 rupees. But this wasn’t the end of my problems. Though the alternate homestay, i.e. Cavalryryan was decent for itself, it was nowhere close to what I had booked initially (Pillowrocks). There was no Wi-Fi, no TV, no complimentary breakfast and it was in the town as opposed to Pillowrocks which is on the countryside. Since we didn’t have any option but to take up what was being offered, we checked into Cavalryryan feeling cheated. After we checked in and settled down, we were told by the homestay owner that he doesn’t take bookings with online payments and we would have to pay him in cash. To confirm his claim we called up Cleartrip customer care and to our surprise the representatives were absolutely non-cooperative and just wanted to wash their hands off this issue by trying to persuade us into accepting the alternate booking as it is. I spoke to Amar, Sangeeta, Ganesh, Poornima etc on multiple phone calls but none were capable enough to get things sorted for me. For example when I asked one of the representatives to reimburse my telephone bill which I was incurring on roaming because I had to speak to cleartrip for the chaos they had forced me into, I was told that the same would be reimbursed by the homestay owner. It was beyond my understanding as to why the homestay owner would pay for your mistakes. I had paid Rs.3800/- for 2 nights at Pillowrocks (this included a discount too). Additionally I was forced to pay another Rs.6800 in cash to the homestay owner (for which I have a receipt) and after so many phone calls over 5-6 hours combined it was confirmed to me by one of Cleartrip representatives that the cash I had paid (Rs. 6800) and the phone bill resulting from conversation with the customer care would be reimbursed to my account soon; and for any other claims I would have to write to Cleartrip. What would have been a leisure trip on New Years' turned into one of the worst experiences with an OTA and its staff. From getting my booking cancelled, to getting an inferior alternative and paying cash upfront for a booking that I had already paid for and to top it all an incompetent customer care which could easily take the taj for being the most clueless Custmomer Support ever. Even after asking to speak to the manager on every call, I was never put on with a higher authority who would have some basic customer skills. To that effect I would like Cleartrip to compensate for the trouble that I had to go through. This compensation should include the Cash rent that I paid to Cavalryryan homestay (Rs. 6800), telephone bill incurred while talking to the customer care (Rs. 500) and a refund of my initial booking amount (Rs. 3800) as I didn’t get anything close to what I had paid for initially along with Rs. 1000 for the cab as stated above. Of course nothing can compensate for the mental trauma that I had to go through in dealing with this chaos. I have dealt with Cleartrip in the past and wouldn’t like ti escalate this matter further. Looking forward to a prompt responsive from your team this time around.

                          Hi,

                          I never ever thought that the experience o[censored]sing cleartrip will be that much of horrible and pathetic. I will never use your service again. What we had experience is beyond the limit of harassment.

                          We booked a hotle on 25 Sep 3 months before undergoing a 30% discount given by cleartrip. Booked for 25 December Shimla hotel Browalia.

                          After 3 months when we finally reached to the destination what we had experience is no one can even thought. The hotel receptionist declined to have a confirmed booking. They have misbehaved and ere very rude with us.

                          We were continuously trying the customer support of cleartrip but the pathetic people was not able to give any solution and putting call on hold for a long time and finally the call was getting disconnected every time.

                          We create a scene at hotel staff and finally the manger come infront o[censored]s and gave us the printout of the mail that they have send to cleartrip on 27 Sep itself mentioning that the Booking is not confirmed as they have paid less by cleartip for that hotel.

                          Even the receptionist informed that this is the common issue with cleartrip so better to use other service provider.

                          We were waiting in chilling night and the poor customer support had put the call on hold that never ended. No one get back to us at that night. Hotel staff were rude with us. This spoiled our full trip.

                          That was the moment I deeply regret to use Cleartrip for the first time. I would never recommended this site to anyone. If you people are not able to help the customer and knowingly wasting our whole trip.

                          After returning back from hotel I mailed on their support email id id but not to surprise they haven't get back till 8 days. FInally I had write review on their Facebook page then finally their representative get back to me and just giving the reimbursement of 2500 Rs discount on next booking with them.

                          This is simply BS if these people are thinking that this will be sufficient for a inconvenience that we had faced at that day.

                          I must suggest every one to never use THIS WEBSITE. Or use if you want to spoil your most awaited trip.

                            Cleartrip Trip ID: [protected] Booking done via Cleartrip mobile app for a Hotel Room at Alleppy, Kerala. Cleartrip voucher and e-mail confirms that my room is avaiable. Direct call to hotel; I was informed that they do not have any tie up with Cleartrip and they do not have vacancy. My calls to Cleartrip customer support: 1) They put me on 30minute Hold 2) Do not allow me to cancel the reservation without cancel fees 3) Do not re-confirm availability of room 4) Tell me to wait for 24hr and that they will call back. But never do. Cleartrip is cheating the public by promising fake booking confirmations. And deducting cancelling fees if we want to cancel the booking.

                              I had booked hotel name : OYO Rooms Madurai Periyar Bus Stand ( rated as 3 star in clear trip website ) i paid 6599 INR for 4 rooms 8 guests, now the worst part is, the same Hotel does not exist at all in madurai.
                              when i call customer care of cleartrip they didint ready to listen problem, 4 time my call was disconnected without understanding issue b customer care agents.
                              finally they have made conference call with OYO aking me to solve issue with OYO ( a third party vendor ) they gave me booking in Hotel Vijay ( a two star Hotel ), now when i have book Hotel 3 Star and Paid 6599 why i should get 2 star hotel ?
                              the most surprising thing is the hotel Vijay arranged by OYO can be booked through cleartrip in just 900/- INR and it is shown as 2 star hotel.

                              so i m buying and paying 3 star hotel to cleartrip, cleartrip has allowing OYO Vendor to put false images rooms on and false Star Rating of Hotel as well Double charges to make us fool

                              i want my money compensation for hotel i didnt get which was displayed and promised by cleartrip as 3 star.

                              i have to book a 2 star vijay hotel then why should i buy and paid 3 star hotel to cleartrip
                              here either cleartrip allowing OYO to display properies, which acutaly does not exist or cleartrip is not ready to listen their customers

                              how pathetic it is that i book from cleartrip and cleartrip customer care transferring my call to another third party vendor to solve issue with them

                              so i dont understand i m customer of cleartrip or OYO,
                              if thing go these ways then why should i book from cleartrip ? if not ready to take responsibility

                              i want exact compensation for this false reservation done at your end.

                                Sir, I booked a round trip Air ticket for my sister Suntitha Sharma through Cleartrip for her journey to Delhi from Chennai. The onward journey was to start on 5 th Dec by Indigo Air and return by the same Airlines on 10 th dec 2015.P N R No F9WZ6T. Indigo Air intimated my sister on 4th dec 2015, that the flight to Delhi Dated 05/12/2015 was cancelled due to inundation of Chennai Airport. As soon as this message was received I contacted Indigo Air to cancel her return ticket ie Delhi Chennaib Dt 10/12/2015 since she can not avail the return flight due to cancellation of the onward flight .After taking down the P N R No they intimated me that the refund was given to Clear trip since they processed the round trip ticket .They said that it normally takes 4 days for the refund to reach the customer.TILL NOW THEY HAVE NOT REFUNDED THE CANCELLED TICKETS PROCEEDS.I seek your intervention.

                                  I booked hotel Tamarind, Alleppey thru cleartrip.com. After 15 days of my booking(even after full payment), I come to know that the hotel booked, is not available. They have done an alternative arrangement after one week which is not cancellable. They have kept me in suspense during this period whether they are providing alternative or not. Cleartrip is not reliable.

                                    I booked a hotel on 31st Dec 2015 for my vacation on 01st Jan 16 and 02nd Jan 16 (2 nights )on the occasion of new year in a hotel in Alibaug. I got the confirmation email from clear trip saying my hotel is booked and received the hotel contact number but before directly checking in at the hotel I wanted to cross check regarding my hotel booking and called the hotel representative. Surprisingly the hotel representative said the rooms are already sold out and the booking done through clear trip is not valid and asked me to talk to clear trip customer care as hew has nothing to do with it. I had a doubt during hotel booking as asked the clear trip executive 2-3 times about the room availability and he (Emaneul) said the room is available under clear trip account. After I came to know this I called the customer care again and spoke to another customer care executive Vasundara and she said she spoke to emaneul and he will be calling me back but there is no call back or even no response when I call the customer care number. How can I get this issue resolved. Regards Dileep Rao

                                      Hello, We bought two ticket for the Agra-Varanasi train for 'Wednesday, 13 Jan 2016'. We payed both via credit card, but our status is still "booked, but waitlisted". Nothing has happened since the booking, and that was weeks ago (nov 19). Our trip id. is: [protected] PNR: [protected] Please inspect this booking as soon as you can to be shure our trip is ok.

                                        My Trip Id is [protected] Recently I have booked resort in wayanad from Clear trip. I had Booked a deluxe room. when i have reached resort they have provided me a normal room which was terrible to stay. when i have contacted the Clear trip customer care. they said they will come back. i have called many times but no use. I am expecting refund from clear trip.
