Team, We are not satisfied with the services from airline spicejet and travel agency cleartrip who has booked the ticked, both asks us to check regarding refund to either airline company or travel agency in a deadlock situation but they dont refund the same. Clear triptrip also dont accepts to lodge a complain and says trip id only works as the complain number but later calls dont retrives the prior requests information. Need to take action against both spicejet and clear trip. The complete information is in below mail but no proper satisfactory responce from spicejet. Team, What do you mean by NO SHOW ticket, we had requested at least 10 times to give us boarding pass but they refused as due to the flight captain team ignored to take onboard more peaople(not sure how true as per the female staff passed the message) as it will take more time to get the printed boarding pass and get security check in done though we had only hand bag only & we reported there 30minutes before departure, A flight can wait for 30 mins but you will not work smartly to quickly get the boarding pass completed rather you will be happy arguing and wasting more time there at the boarding pass reception explaining how the long your process is to get the boarding pass for a customer which not at all in interest part o[censored]S/ customer, Agreed we have rule to report atleast 45 minutes to avoid harras free travel not necessarilly and logically/practically always to be followed otherwise there is no difference in the timings of train and timings of SPICEJET TRAVEL EXPIRIENCE SO you should be flexible as in emergency case of passenger where they come from long distance from within traffic and in city like Mumbai traffic. You should be able to consider the customer requirement to get him boarding pass on quick manner in last minutes not like making rule as rigid as we had to bad/good expirience we never know, also we have expirience from indigo and others where they are very flexible and we never had any such issue. Even keeping in mind the plain safety and your choosen smooth way of work that you are not able do quick do process onboard of passenger in this so called DIGITAL time at least please arrange to return the fare, its the same like you will say that we are flexible and will arrange the next plain for you if you missed then what about the customer who has emergency and will have to land on the same day then you will show your sorry unsmily ugly face through your painted full maked up female staffs which you had considered them as smart and intelligent while you had hire who fails in these situations while there can be more options you MUST be aware as per past expirirence and training when it comes to emergency. If you have shame and believe in customer satisfaction rather you think you are flying in AIR then soon you will see your future like king fisher, please arrange to return my full money for this itinary its hardly 10k only!

They say and refer the TERM NO SHOW TICKET as passenegr never reported to AIRPORT TO travel thats why they will not refund the money.

The AIRPORT CHECK IN AND SIGN OFF TIMES ENTRY IN MANUAL REGISTRY CAN BE CHECKED AS TO proof that WE ARRIVE AIRPORT .SO in that case our ticket must not be termed as NO SHOW TICKET, we had not in interest to make the ticket NO SHOW, it was SPICEJET that made the TICKET as NO SHOW, and later we are feeling cheated as NO SHOW TICKET THEY PUT RESTRICTIONS IN PROVIDING REFUND IN RETURN.

    This is a very weird experience on the app. I have been looking for a bangalore to mumbai trip on the app and the website this afternoon and when I finally booked it, the app booked me a reverse trip from mumbai to bangalore on exactly same dates and times of departure I had to cancel that and book another one and I just lost 3000+ just to cancel it. You can please go ahead and check my activity on website and the app and all I was looking was from Bangalore to Mumbai. This is absolutely ridiculous and I want help on this one. I want to be compensated for the loss of money and the time I wasted. Awaiting your revert! A dissatisfied customer! Neha Bahl

      Cleartrip have the worst customer service. Don't ever have an issue with a ticket with them and need to change or cancel, as they will take full advantage of you without any logic or justification. They ate 55% of the cost of my ticket in fees which they did not document, itemize or justify. I tried calling them and they hung up on me. I emailed them and got useless responses. Avoid using them altogether.

        Hi Team, I booked flight tickets from Bangalore-Indore and then from Nagpur-Bangalore.While booking the same, i have used ClearTrip GiftVoucher of worth 4000Rs .Now i cancelled the ticket, i got the refund amount but Voucher amount of 4000Rs also should be refunded back.When i spoke to clear trip representtaive i got the information saying that Voucher Amount will not be refunded.I asked where its been written in policy.Ideally you should return voucher amount as well.Please consider my case and ask them to refund 4000Rs ASAP.           I made a booking for Zo Rooms in Goregaon West in Mumbai in May 2015, using Cleartip. When I reached the hotel on the starting date of my booking a few hours earlier than their checkout time, mentioned on the website, I didn't know I would be in for such a nasty surprise. I reached Goregaon West and got off the local, after a tiring overnight journey. The address on cleartrip said that the hotel was very close to the local railway station so I started to look for it on foot, dragging my luggage with me. When I could not find the hotel anywhere nearby, I looked it up on cleartrip which redirected me to a location on Google maps. I went around the spot it showed a number of times but I could not even find the board of the hotel. So I called cleartrip customer care and hence began the long journey of helplessly arguing with various correspondents who refused to help me out, whatsoever. I called customer care and told them my situation. They said that they'll help me out right away. But after 4-5 long calls, dealing with their frustrating IVR while roaming charges ate up my balance, the customer care could not help me out even a bit. They were unable to find the location or a number for the hotel which was reachable. They couldn't get in touch with the hotel at all for atleast 3 hours while I had to sit on the footpath and wait for them to come up with a solution. As it is very obvious from the above description of the scenario, all of this was incredibly frustrating and I had to deal with this when I was already tired from my journey. So I decided that I want to get my booking cancelled and I started looking for another place to stay in. I took a auto and was searching for another hotel when a cleartrip representative called me and told me that they'd been able to locate the hotel and it was in the very same building where I'd been standing for the last 3 hours. What was even more disappointing and infuriating was that the building looked nothing like the photos that the cleartrip website had for the hotel. It was blatantly misleading on the website's part to display such images when the actual premises of the hotel were so far from it. So I told them to cancel my booking and refund the money back to me. But at that point of time, they told me that since it was check-in time already, they couldn't cancel it anymore. It was in their policy and terms and all of a sudden it was my fault as a customer to not have thought of this before. I had to argue with atleast 5 different customer care representatives who redirected me to the zo rooms representative again and again. After explaining the entire situation to their manager which of course involved a lot of mismanagement on Zo rooms' part as well, he agreed to inform cleartrip about refunding my money. Within 15 minutes, I got a call from cleartrip, saying that they've talked to the hotel and that I will get my money back in the next two weeks. It seems like victory, doesn't it? Well its not even the beginning. It's been 3 full months since then and even now after numerous calls to their customer care department and having talked to almost all thee representatives that they have, I have still not received my refund. All their policies are sham and all that cleartrip has done up till now is lied to me. They've made me feel like paying beforehand for a booking was the biggest mistake I ever made. They harassed me as a customer for 6 hours straight and even now they're not ready to give me a definite answer as to when they will refund my money back. It is horrible that such big companies have such poor management and disrespect their customers to such an extent. So much for their promises about good and fair dealings when they can't even keep up to their own policies. The website clearly states that the refund will take place within 15 days and it's a shame that this is not the first time that such a case has happened. The forums are full of people reporting similar experiences with this travel giant and it would be great if cleartrip did something to save their failing reputation. All that I have gotten out of this experience is that no matter how much progress we make in terms of businesses making it big in the Internet space, until and unless these corporate learn to respect their customers, that progress is a waste. There will never be any trust or goodwill in this business if the companies don't understand their responsibilities towards their customers. And to make that happen, even little things like how your customer care department deals with the customer matter a lot. I don't have a lot of hope to get my money back but if this experience helps other people from falling into a trap when dealing with these websites or if cleartrip and it's sister websites act upon it, my job here is done.

            I am living in Singapore since 2008 and travel to india once a year. I have a Cleartrip account which i use for booking domestic flights and trains when i am in india. All of a sudden since last 1 month i am getting booking mails from Cleartrip and to my surprise all bookings are done under my name. Tickets were from DELHI to Guwahati Delhi To Banaglore Amritsar to Abu Dabhi Patna to Delhi My concern is that if i am getting all the mails it’s possible that the person is travelling under my identification. If some terrorist is travelling under my identity i will be in trouble next time i am in India. I highlighted the matter to Cleartrip team but still no response from them

              Hello Sir, On 14/8/15, I Purchase 3 Room booking in GOA hotel for 3N/4D. Before do payment I called cleartrip support ([protected]) & confirm the availability of Rooms at Tangerine Boutique Resort in Goa. At that time support executive name is Salman and he can 100% assurance that your booking confirm. So, after confirm by ClearTrip executive I do payment for 3 Rooms which is Rs. 17112 (with 3 different Transaction). After 3 days when I called Hotel & check about my Room confirmation, Hotel department said that they have no any reservation with my name.                   I had booked a hotel room at Shri Prayagraj Hotel, Allahabad through Cleartrip; Trip ID [protected] for 2 days, 8th August to 10th August 2015, but when I reached the hotel, the manager there told me that no such booking has been made. I called "Cleartrip support" who then 'tried' to speak to the manager but no room was allotted to me. Finally, I had to approach a Police support booth who then negotiated and helped me get an inferior quality room, meant for the hotel staff at a price of Rs 500 per night. After 2 days, of calling cleartrip, now they have agreed to refund my booking amount but still they are not willing to pay any compensation for the trouble they caused me. If one would take a look at their hotel booking policy, you would notice that the customer is liable to pay Rs 300 for any cancellation made before 24 hours of the check-in time, and 100% of the hotel reservation fee if the cancellation is made within the 24hours of check-in. However, they are not willing to compensate a penny for a booking that was confirmed from their side, but did not manage to get me a room when I arrived at the hotel. I demand apology from their end and adequate compensation for the trouble they caused me.

                    NEVER book thru Cleartrip. I had booked a room in Hotel Panna Paradise, Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India thru cleartrip based on the reviews on this website and hoping that my purchase will be safer thru cleartrip rather than booking with this hotel directly. I had to pay full room rent in advance. We found the hotel to be too shady to stay here so, we checked into another hotel. The hotelier told us that since the booking was online, the refund will be processed online. Strangely, cleartrip website shows that 4 adults stayed here!!! When I contacted cleartrip they are saying "Now hotelier is not agreeing to process the refund. Hence we will not be able to process refund." Following up for a refund.

                    Initially they refused a refund but, I followed up with "customer support" with many mails. The calls from "customer support" were very misleading. Finally, truth Triumphed and I got my refund. Nothing much to write but the review needs to be 120 characters.

                      They are trying to refund only half? Why?
                      They also make false claim saying that the bank charges for the cancelled transactions but that is not true and no other vendors make such a claim. It is not true either!!

                          hi I had booked a Room at the Park hotel in CCU ( Kolkata ) for 3 nights from your website www.cleartrip.com. Since it was A Thursday there was a special deal in which one got a certain percent of discount, i was excited and went ahead with the booking, once i came to the payment page there was a error and my payment was not going through. i tried it 3 times and then i gave up so i asked for a cal back. Immediately i was given a call back from one of your reps and then was informed to try making the payment in which he sent me the link . i went ahead and tried using that method as well and the payment wasnt going through. i also had a word with my bank and they said there is enough amount of credit so there was no reason why the payment wasnt going through. Call centre gave me another link to validate the payment and the payment yet again din go through. i gave up and hung up the call since it was 45 mins on the call and no solution. the night mare din begin there, after some time at around 2300 hours I clicked on the link and the payment was succesfull. Breathe a sigh of relief. Thinking my hotel booking has been confirmed. my friend who was travelling me booked another booking for him and his girlfriend and he received a confirmation at the same time regarding the same. i thought it might take some time and hence left it there. at 11.45 i called up the custoemr care and they said that there wasnt any booking done on my name or email id and then the advisor informed to book another room in the same hotel and the previous payment would be reversed. since the offer was running out at midnight i listened to him and was about to make a other booking while at that time i called them up again and a good advisor told me that sir dont worry ur payment has been received but the confirmation dept is out of working hours at that point of time and to call back tmr.. i told him that my booking is for tmrs check in and my flight from bom to ccu is in the morning 9w 0800 hours dept he assured me a call back as soon as the dept opens .. i couldnt sleep the whole night as my booking wasnt confirmed and was going to a new place where i din know anyone and my money (15000) was blocked ... in the morning i called up the call centre and had to go on repeating my query. some agents really dont know how to speak or cant understand english. Boarding started and i was on the call, finally the women came up saying i will need to pay 3500 extra since the price has gone up. I had no option since i was boarding the flight and make a payment using my CC for the same since i needed a confirmed hotel once i reached CCU. My question is what if i had not to call up the Call centre that night for the same ..it would be a shock for me that after landing and reaching kolkata my hotel wasnt confirmed and my money was blocked. I need a refund of the 3500 since under no circumstance was it my fault since the payment was taken from my account, tI therefore request you to please refund me 3500, if not in Credit but a voucher . since this is a breach from your side . before i take this matter up to the higher level and disgrace cleartrip by going on social media please refund me the 3500.

                            Had Booked Indigo through Cleartrip. Dubai to Mumbai -PNR: NFMI3B Had to change the schedule from current to Dubai to Trivandrum, ~Did that with Indigo and made got a confirmed ticket and seating (please see attachment) When I logged into Cleartrip, I saw that the Dubai- Mumbai was not cancelled, hence I requested and they cancel that ( please see attachment). However when i when out to fly today, I was told that that my booking from Dubai to Trivandrum was cancelled. I did my booking with Indigo and who has cancelled this. If you say Cleartrip has cancelled this, they don’t have the right to do so, secondly i had only ask to cancel the Mumbai sector and I have enough and more communications to prove all this. I need a resolution on this, when I talked to the ground personnel, none of them could help. I have wasted a lot of time, I am stranded in Dubai for 1 more day, all my plans and logistics have got turmoiled, i have lost another day at work and it has cost me big time.

                              I forgot to mention that the airline cancelled just the day before of the return trip!! I had to pay an astronomical price to procure tickets to complete the same trip, and on top of that cleartrip charged me convenience fee!!
                              someone from Cleartrip called yesterday and said the refund will be processed today... Could you please confirm the same?

Trip ID : [protected] I booked this round trip tickers for my family from Hyderabad to Chennai. It was booked a month ago from the travel dates.. We were to leave June 11st and return on 15th.. We started the travel to Chennai on June 11th and was on our return to Chennai (to travel to Hyderabad) on 14th to catch the flight back on June 15th Morning.. On 14th I got a call from the airline(SpiceJet) saying the flight is cancelled.. We received no calls from ClearTrip.. I managed to get tickets from another airline at astronomical price and flew back to Hyderabad... Even after June 15th we received no call from ClearTrip and our ticket was also not cancelled, even thought the flight was cancelled and me and my family was left at lurch at the last moment!! When I called Cleartrip later, I was told that I should cancel the ticket online (even though it was to be done by them as the airline cancelled their flight).. Anyways, I cancelled the ticket for refund and gave the reason for the same.. to my surprise I was charged a convenience fee of Rs.1400/-!! When I objected I was told by the customer service rep that it is a bank charge and is nothing to do with them... my reasoning with them stating that here is a customer who was left at lurch with his family in the last min and you never called us, and yet you are charging me a convenience fee? did not yield anything.. Further, I have learned, as is the industry practice, that when you reverse the credit card transactions, the bank charges also stands reversed as well... even if the bank charges it cannot be passed onto the customer who has already been dinged!! It is unfair, illegal and unethical.. Though I will win this case if I take it to the consumer court, I hope that the cleartrip will do the needful and refund the convenience fee (as we only got inconvenience at any rate!).                                   Hi, i am BijayMisra, i booked a hotels 3 rooms for 3 nights total amount RS 10208, at Sai priya beach resort viskhapatnam through CLEARTRIP . on 22/07/2015 and cancel the booking same day on 22/07/2015, after cancellation they mail me total refund amount RS 0. that means no refund. on clear trip website its clearly mention that 100% refund if cancellation before 24 hours, but i cancel it 57 days before, when i try to contact cleartrip they told me no refund for this hotel, so why they mention cancellation policy if individual hotel individual cancellation policy, , , , , , , , total fraud site cleartrip total fraud, my booking ID cleartrip is [protected], [protected], [protected]

                                    I booked a ticket from Pune to Bangalore for Mr. Naresh Bakshi, for which amount was deducted but ticket was not confirmed.Customer care people confirmed that the ticket has not been booked.When i again booked a ticket, i got to know from Indigo airlines that two tickets are booked with same name and contact details.(WHICH IS CLEARLY FAULT FROM CLEARTRIP's end). I was told that money will be refunded but its been 10 days and still money is not refunded. No one from Cleartrip is ready to take this up .
