I booked 3 super deluxe rooms in Mussoorie from Cleartrip. After completing all the transactions for room booking a guy from Cleartrip named Ajit Bisht called and said that the rooms we booked are not available on that date. After long conversation and debate we(Ajit and I) agreed for the deluxe rooms in which 1 room with semi-facility (No TV, No Geyser, No Extension for room service, No Fan) and the refund for Rs. 300 per room i.e. difference between the tariffs of Super Deluxe and Deluxe rooms. But after some time the same guy Mr. Ajit called and said that "Madam, refund won't be possible". So, finally I paid for Super Deluxe but got pushed to use Deluxe Rooms also one room with Bed and 4 walls only. Also Mr. Ajit was so rude and Scoundrel in all the conversation.

    respected sir/madam i went to manaali by cleartrip booking in hotel kenilworth, i have paid 7946 rs.fr two days for two deluxe bed rooms.i hv paid 1200 fr two days for child tht is my son.but when i got the rooms there is no extra facility for my child, no extra bed etc.there is rate of bed room 1200 less thn i hv paid to cleartrip, my tour was 22nd june to 24 june2014 my trip id is [protected] .so plz get enquiry fr it why they nt given extra facility to child even i paid his charges thnks, plz send ur view on my mail id tbj5rajinder.[protected]@rediffmail.com

    Rajinder Kumar - The inclusion in your booking were "All Applicable Taxes. Complimentary stay for children under 5 without extra bed". Hence, there was no booking of extra bed for the child.

      Dear Clear trip, I have booked three rooms for three night(23rd June TO 26th June-2014) on dated 20th June-2014 in Hotel Golden Height Darjeeling under above mentioned Trip Id no [protected].I got voucher and mobile alert for confirmation of Hotel along with Hotel land line number. When I called on 21 nd June to the Hotel Golden Height Darjeeling regarding my Booking then they told me that we don't have rooms for the same date.I again called the cleartrip helpline number and after long conversation I spoke to Supervisor, he then revealed that we are only having option at Hotel Broadway ...otherwise you take your money back In this junction, I said ok . But when I enquired about the reputation of Hotel Broadway with comparison to Hotel Golden Height, I found that Hotel Broadway is just like Guest House and having very less tariff. I again called to clear trip and said you pl. deduct some money and get back my money OR take more money and book another good Hotel but they refused and said we don't having any option you have to stick with that Hotel because you have given consent for that-- My Points are as below in this regard-- 1.Why clear trip has confirmed and sent Voucher for the Hotel Golden Height, when they were not sure about availability of rooms-- 2.If, they came to know the non-availability then why they have not called up on my mobile till 24 hrs, I only called then 7 times. 3.How can they put me in Guest house type hotel when I paid for the good one Hotel If, position will not clear till evening I will opt for other way to get justice to me regards, Deepak Sharma [protected]

      We understand your disappoinment for not getting the original hotel booked. However, we would like to clarify that Hotel Broadway is never an inferior quality alternate. Both the hotels Hotel Golden Heights Enclave and Hotel Broadway are two star properties. We provided you the best possible alternate within the budget you booked the initial hotel.

      As for the difference in tariff, it's because the hotel was running a special promotion for a limited period. Their tariff is back to original one now. However, we do regret the inconvenience caused to you and request you to reply to the email sent to you separately.

        Hi,
        Please i need your help my id is Trip ID [protected]
        I didnt mean to cancel the flight and i pressed cancel by mistake and i need to activate it back please even if i have to pay additional fee for that but not the whole thing
        I know it is my fault but please try to help me to re
        activate the ticket back other wise i will have to cancel the whole trip and lose a what i paid
        So please find me any soluotion to get it back

          I had booked tickets under trip ID [protected], which had to be subsequently cancelled. Cleartrip charged Rs. 3, 000 towards airline cancellation charges and Rs. 500 towards Cleartrip charges. In addition to this charge, they charged Rs. 300 as processing fee charges. It wasn't mentioned in the tickets that processing fee would be charged in case of cancellation.

          Cleartrip has already charged Rs. 500 towards flight cancellation, so why they need to charge another Rs. 300 process fee, not specifically written in the ticket?

          We would like to clarify that we do inform about the same under Booking Policy. The statement clearly state "Convenience fee is non-refundable in case of ticket cancellation by the user, or flight cancellation by the airline.". We hope this has clearified your doubt.

            myself Ar. Rachel Joseph.on June 1st 2014 I booked my airtickets via cleartrip. we were total three passengers out of which one wished to cancel her ticket due to some reason. I wad promised by the cleartrip team that the refund amount of 3964 INR would b automatically refunded in 5 to 7 working days. then they said there was an error found in the bank so they would fix this n let me know in next three working days. after 9 days I got a call and they said me to wait for again 3 more days. I am totally disappointed by the reply that I get through the customer support.

              Myself Akshay B M from Bangalore, have booked a hotel in Ooty for 26th May 2014, Below are the details “CLEARTRIP TRAVEL SERMUMBAI IN 75260824145004324711595 3, 239.00” We got a call from Clear trip Manager([protected]) saying that the room is Not Available and told me that he will refund the amount, but I told him to book another room. So he[Clear trip Manager] booked another room and told me to pay extra amount, as it was out of our budget, we told him to cancel the room and to refund the amount and we cancelled our Ooty trip I am calling him from past 3 weeks and he is simply giving assurance that he will refund the amount, but till now not even a single rupee is credited.                 My name is Maninder Singh. I booked a room for 2 nights in Dharamshala through cleartrip. The room was so untidy and stinky. The sheets and pillows and blanket were stinking and untidy.. bathroom was in very bad condition. The soap they provide was of very low grade. I did not use the soap. The coffee maker they gave me and that too after asking for it was in such a condition that nobody would even like to touch it. how can someone make his coffee in it.? they promise free wifi. It is a big lie. They don't have any provision for it. I took the matter to cleartrip as soon as I entered the room. but they said that I have already checked in so I can't get the refund. I asked them to cancel my nxt nights booking, and they said that partial cancellation can't b done. I left the room nxt day and booked another room through makemytrip which was ok. nvr goin to cleartrip again. I am planning to take this matter to the consumer forum if I did not get my money back.                 Thanks cleartrip. but it would have been much appreciated ifyou made this effort on my first complaint. I got a call from cleartrip yesterday. He said that the hotel is ready to return my money if I delete my review from TripAdvisor. This was not expected.

Travel date : 21.06.2014 I had booked Flight ticket from Pune to Bangalore for date of travel 21st June-14. booking was done on 19th May-14. ticket was purchased with Price of Rs.2481.00 since my meeting got postponed, i cancelled the ticket on 6th June-14 & to my surprce they had deducted Approx Rs. 2000/- as cancelation charges. Please note in the ticket they had mentioned the cancellation fee as Rs. 950/-. why is that Clear trip.com is making higher deductions deviating the value mentioned in their own ticket. my cell phone no is [protected]. I am really frustrated & will not prefer booking thourgh clear trip in future. I had contacted customer care twice but they told they cant do anything & that there was a technical error in priniting the ticket. why is that organisation of such repute is cheating customers with cheap tricks like this... really surprised & felt cheated.

                      I had made a hotel booking on 6 April 2014 vide Clear Trip ID [protected]. The booking was for 3 nights at "Senator Pine-n-Peak Hotel" at Pahalgam, Kashmir for the period 30 May 2014 to 2 June 2014. I made the full payment in advance.The voucher sent by clear Trip included a contact no of the Hotel also - given as [protected]. I called on this no. 3 days before my travel to confirm my booking and it was told to me that it is confirmed. On arriving at the hotel on 30 May, I was told by the hotel staff that my booking was not confirmed. They denied having received any notification from Clear Trip and informed that the no. [protected] was not theirs but was some agent's number.I called Clear Trip up immediately but the customer care did not help, they only said we will arrange a call back.(Meanwhile Cleartrip agent had stopped taking our calls) .Since I was with Family and had waited for more than an hour, I convinced the hotel guys to move me to another hotel - Heevan, which is part of the same group but a lower grade hotel.I spent 2 nights at Heevan and then was moved back to Senator for the last night.In this time, I received no call from Clear Trip - I made 2 other calls to them to lodge a complaint. My request is this - for the fact that I stayed in a lower grade hotel for 2 nights and the mental agony I and my family endured at the time of check in and multiple shifts of hotels - I want a refund for the first 2 nights which is approximately Rs 20, 000. Kindly action my request

                          Trip ID : [protected] I have booked an ticket for international travel, when I tried to rescheduled clear trip wash their hands and said that need to contact airways. I done that, now I had cancelled an air ticket through airline, now the refund amount is initiated by airline but clear trip is asking so me the NCO from airline. Even I have given TRIP ID, PNR & E-Ticket they are asking me to sent hard copy which airline has to provide me. Really I don't understand only getting commission for ticket booking & cancellation, nothing from clear trip for end user. It is pathetic and panic.                             I had booked an international return flight from Delhi to Singapore on Air India through Cleartrip. As one of the connection flights was delayed by more than 20 hours, I was promised by Air India as well as the Cleartrip customer care that I am entitled to a 100% refund on the flight. And so I decided to cancel the flight and asked Cleartrip to process the refund.

                            When I followed up on this, I was told that I need to get the flight status changed from Flown to Open to process the refund. For this i spent 4 months following up with various Air India Customer care numbers, Airport offices, Regional offices and finally made a complaint to the Air India National Vigilance officer. Needless to say this was an extremely expensive and time-consuming task but I was able to get this done.

                            After going through all this trouble, Cleartrip now tells me that I am not entitled to any refund because the cost of the cancelled flight is less than the overall cost of the return ticket of a combined journey.


                            - Why was I not told of this when I was making the request for cancellation? I would not have done so and booked an expensive one way ticket to be able to fly the same day.

                            - Why was I asked to run around to get the flight status changed when I was not entitled to a refund.

                            - The responses of clearTrip on mail are appalling, making generic statements and just copying text from other mails.

                            I have confirmed with Air India that the refund for the sector I cancelled should be approximately 13000 rupees.
                            And I am entitled to it as guided by the Air India Airport staff, Air India Customer care, Regional Manager of Air India Office Delhi, Cleartrip executive's I have spoken to up until the last mail I received.

                            I hope ClearTrip takes notice of this issue and checks their processes. I am entitled to the refund and after all these delays and effort I have put in, I would really appreciate if this is done ASAP !!

                              I booked 2 hotel rooms in Ooty through clear trip. The payment was made and confirmation was made. Just when I was about to reach Ooty I got call from clear trip and I was informed that the booking is not valid as there were no rooms available in the hotel. If the rooms were not available then how the hell Clear Trip booked room for me. The alternate arrangements was not done. The caller from customer care was not ready to send any information in my registered mobile number. He was telling me to check my email. Since, I was in journey I was not able to check my email too. Later on I checked my email only to find nothing. Now, there is no call coming from clear trip. I think my money is gone. If so then I will see to it that Clear Trip is called to court. As I have all the details available with me and I even have the capacity to take out the call details.

                              Hotel booking for Coorg

                              I did hotel booking at coorg for 21st Feb. Cleartrip agent given us the room which we did not booked. they have taken money for wood house and given other room. Cleartrip cheated us.

                                I made 2 bookings with Clear Trip, the first one was for Dalhousie & the second one for Mcleodganj, the Trip Ids are given below. Trip ID: [protected] This was first booking for 2 rooms for 2 nights for Adults and 3 Children in Dalhousie for 24th May & 25th May’14. I received the confirmation voucher (Copy Attached) that my booking is confirmed with Hotel Shangrila however a few days later I received a call stating that the rooms are all booked in that hotel so we are moving to Hotel Jaspreet. It was 2 days before my travel so I had no other option but to unwillingly agree, they sent me a confirmation Voucher (Copy Attached) for Hotel Jaspreet. I drove on my own to Dalhousie from Ghaziabad along with one of my friend and his family. It took me 12 hrs time to reach Hotel Jaspreet and by that point of time everybody was so tired that they just wanted to lie down somewhere. When I reached Hotel Jaspreet I was told by the incharge (Madan Sharma) that there was no booking under my name. Me and my family were surprised that how can that be possible and showed him the Voucher to which he said you need to speak to clear trip as we do not have your booking. I even spoke to the owner (Nitin) who was in Ludhiana however even he offered no assistance. I even asked them of Gagandeep’s number (Marketting Manager with Clear Trip) as they were speaking to him however they didn’t and were very rude in their behaviour. I called up Clear trip and spoke to 4 people & everybody said the same thing that your booking is confirmed with Hotel Jaspreet, I even made them speak to the Hotel Staff & when they didn’t had any solution either they left me on hold or disconnected the call. I even spoke to a supervisor (Rakesh Rana) who promised to call me in half an hour however didn’t. I stood there for 5 hrs with 3 kids of less than 5 years, my friend was questioning me of what was happening. Whenever you call up clear trip the IVR says that all the calls are recorded for Training and Quality Purposes, so you can ask of all the call recordings for the calls which I made. After no solution I started searching for another accommodation, as it was a weekend and holiday season most of the hotels in Dalhousie were full, after a lot of searching I found an accommodation Hotel Monga (Bill Attached for confirmation) which was way out of my Budget but had no other option. Trip ID [protected] Similar thing happened to my second booking in Mcleodganj with Hotel Sahiwa, one day before my travel to Mcleaodganj I called up Clear Trip just to confirm that everything is fine with my second booking, I spoke to Suraiya and she said that the booking is confirmed, I was not convinced because of my experience in Dalhousie an asked her if she can arrange a call from the Hotel to which she said she will conference my call, she did that and made me speak to the Hotel Staff member (Kalfang), she also confirmed that it is there. While it as going on my wife received a call from Clear trip (Riyang Rajan) and he said the Hotel doesn’t have rooms available, I spoke to him and said I have Suraiya on the other line and she has confirmed of the booking and she has also made me speak to the Hotel Staff, Riyang said ok than its fine however I said please check and let me know. He called back after half an hour and confirmed that the booking is there. Next day when I reached Mcleodganj and approached the Hotel, to my surprise the hotel staff said that there is no booking under my name. I was very upset but couldn’t do anything so called up Clear trip and they again said that your booking is confirmed, when I told him that the staff is saying it otherwise he said he will call me back. I insisted on speaking to a supervisor or Manager however he declined to do that. I did not receive a call as usual but got the number for Gagandeep (Marketing Manager- Clear Trip) from the hotel staff. I called him and told him of what has happened, he again had no answer but he said he arrange accommodation in a different property. He gave me multiple options and whichever option he gave we would go to that Hotel and the hotel would say that there are no rooms available. After looking at 3 options we were finally given accommodation in an alternate property after spending 3 hrs.

                                  I booked at least 25 or more airline tickets through Cleartrip till date. The first time I am trying to cancel a ticket and this is what happens. To cancel flight tickets for just one person from each of the trip IDs I have mentioned above, I went online to check the refund amount and it showed me Rs.1710/- per pax. Since I thought this amount is very low (return ticket fare was 6710/-) I called up the ClearTrip Customer Care and asked them to just confirm the refund amount. They said I will be getting Rs. 2210/-. Even after telling them online refund amount shows 500 bucks less. They confirmed this a multiple times, that the refund amount will be Rs. 2210/-, and that there might be some technical problem online. So I went ahead and cancelled the bookings through phone. It took 40 mins to cancel one ticket, total of I Hr 20 Mins to cancel tickets over phone. The email confirmation which I got from ClearTrip showed me a refund amount of Rs. 1710/- for each person. I called up to check if it was any technical error, 15 mins after cancelling, they suddenly change words. They say "sorry for miss-information". You'll get only that amount now. Looks like in the job description of customer care, ClearTrip Tells them to [censored] to every person that rings the phone.
                                  Wasted money, wasted time for absolutely nothing. I could've rather done this online in just 5 minutes.
                                  If I booked the tickets directly on the airline website they deduct only Rs. 3700/- for this. But here cleartrip deducted Rs. 1300/- as their cancellation amount.
                                  I might never book a flight tickets on cleartrip ever again.

                                    This is to inform that there have been some changes in your trip ID 9074 for MAA-MRU segment. | MK-747 | MAA-MRU | Departure time: 0815 on 01OCT2013 The flight has been cancelled by the airline. Please note that alternate flight option will only be available if provided by the airline. They don't take any responsibility. If we take Flight on Next Day. They say why did you take the flight or else we would have refunded. Once i didn't take flight and asked for Refund. They only refund flight fare which was cancelled. The other way and hotel cost they don't refund. So better not to book any Flight with Clear Trip. In the End its our mistake choosing ClearTrip. Makemytrip they do something thinking about Customer. Clear Trip does nothing. Please My request don't book any flight with them. I have experienced it. So choose other options other then ClearTrip. Better is to select direct airlines.

                                    While taking money from Credit Card. No process. When flight cancelled. All process need to be done from customer side only.

                                    Clear Trip pure Fraud.I spoke to agent. He is telling PNR is alive. Supervisor are always busy on another call. As so many people have only complaints.

                                    Called up 3 times. No supervisor is busy. This shows where their company stands.When refunds process comes client need to do all the stuffs.

                                    From this came to know everyone can open company likt Clear Trip

                                    If the booking is cancelled with the airline directly, it needs to be cancelled with us too as the airline does not inform us about cancellation and refund of individual PNRs. We are unable to view the ticket details and have sent an email to the airline to check on the status of the ticket.

                                    Until we get any revert from the airline, we are unable to commit anything and we will have to wait till the airline reverts. Please be assured that as soon as we get any revert from the airline, we will keep you updated.

                                      Hi, My father tried to book a return trip to Kathamandu for my monther and nani on[protected]. The trip was made and someone by the name of Jaswant from cleartrip made the package. As my father does not know online payment process he asked to do the same on his behalf. While the package was being made and cleartrip wanted me to make the payment, I received 20 calls in the space of one hour to do the payment. I finally make the payment but jasvant tells me that the prices have been increased and I would need to make 500 rs extra payment. Having already paid 22500, I was forced to agree to make the extra payment. Half an hour later Jasvant from Cleartrip calls up my father and informs that we would now need to make an extra payment of 2500 as the prices have increased again. I called them and asked that how could the so called ' real time' prices could increase if they have already booked the trip half and hour ago. to which Jasvant replies that he has still not booked the tickets. Then to top it all he suggests an alternate flight in which I would have to pay only 2000 extra. I had to reluctantly agree as they already have my 22500, after waiting till evening this Jasvant informs me (now I had to make calls as they already had my money) that he cannot book the tickets as there is some problem with the back end. So in all they wasted my whole day, I saw the tickets to Indigo getting full and Spice jet prices increase and I had to pay 22500 for NOTHING. Now I have been trying to get my money back. it's been more than 2 weeks and multiple mails and calls but I am yet to get anything back. PLEASE DO NOT BOOK ANYTHING FROM CLEARTRIP, THEY ARE A BUNCH OF THUGS AND CHEATS WHO WOULD CALL YOU ONLY TILL THE TIME YOU PAY. REST YOU ARE ON YOUR OWN.

                                        Ticket ID no. [protected] Spicejet-SG105.I Booked round trip from kolkata to portblair and back on 21.4.2014 and 27.4.2014. I booked three meal (2 non veg+1 Veg ) on 21.4.2014 and three meal ( 3 Non veg ) on 27.4.2014.but I did not get 3 meal when I challenged to crew then they check the list and told that our name was not their. They told me it was the falt of cleartrip agent.you sent on payment details for 33, 515 and then you add my meal charge Rs.1450/- .So total cost of Rs. 34966/- which amount I paid through credit card. You check this your willing mistake and refund my 750/- for meal charge. If you do not take any step for this cheating then I will complain to your head office at Mumbai.
