I have booked a hotel called Ocean park beach resort, Kovalam this is the link for the website http://www.theoceanparkresort.com/facilities.html. Cleartrip.com has endorssed the beach resort with all the facilities mentioned on the website. However the story is completely different, it was our honeymoon trip when me and my husband landed in the hotel we were shocked to see it, but we still holded our breath thinking that may be the room would be better. But to our horror, the room was also horrible, they say it has wifi, it doesnot have, they say it has a mini bar it doesnot have, the tv doesnt work, there is no multicuisnie restaurant, they get the food even the tea u want from some other hotel nearby. I have so much to say that this place becomes less. Please JGJ help me to reimburse my 2 night fare as I checked out in 1 night, although I booked myself for 3 nights. Also, I want compensation from cleartrip.com & the hotel for spoiling our honeymoon trip. Luckily we got a room in a different hotel otherwise we would be in a great fix. And the hotel is not a resort it is a LODGE HOTEL, CLEARTRIP HAS TO GIVE A EXPLANATION FOR ENDORSING THIS AS A RESORT HOTEL, HAS ANYONE FROM CLEARTRIP VISITED THE HOTEL TO EVEN KNOW WHAT FACILITIES THEY ARE OFFERING BEFORE FOOLING THE CUSTOMERS.

    this is with reference to the hotel booking that i made online from
    cleartrip.com for ginger hotel pondicherry with (TRIP ID[protected]) .
    I got the cofirmation email , sms from cleartrip regarding the
    room booked in ginger pondicherry. I drove from bangalore to
    pondicherry but to my utter dismay what i found that all the rooms in
    ginger pondicherry were already full and the hotel staff bluntly said
    that they didnot have any record formy bookings..
    Ginger hotel people asked me to call cleartrip , and when
    i called clear trip people they told sir your room is already booked
    then how come ginger hotel cant give you
    the room.. After calling them manytimes in the end they told me sorry
    and told me that they will refund
    the charges. What the hell is this...

    If there was no room then why cleartrip allowed me to book this was really
    pain. As i wanted to send Clear Trip guys a legal notice .. As there was no
    good hotel availabe in pondicherry on that day, unfortunately i had to
    drive back to bangalore on the same day. I suffered a lot of pain because of Clear trip guys...
    This way i wanted to show Clear Trip a lesson that they should not
    repeat such case again
    I had sent this many times to clear trip customer care email id, but they never bothered to reply me for the same..
    So i want clear trip sue clear trip for the same..

      Trip I'd:-[protected] Flight no.G8-396 Pnr:-KNYUH2 This tkt was booked in August and cancelled on 1st September via airlines directly I was not aware that I need to separately inform to cleartrip also for the refund so I informed them after 10 days.earlier these ppl were claiming that they are not getting any revert from the airlines so they are not able to process the refund on 8th of October these people have given the same reason on mail to me on the same mail I have mailed to go air with cc to cleartrip to check the status and the revert which I have got from the airlines was With reference to your email, we would like to inform you that as per our record refund Rs 11684/- already processed to invoice dtd 1st Sep 2012... Now after this mail I have written a mail to clear trip again that as per airlien's mail it's already processed frm their end more than a month bak so clear trip has asked me to wait for 8 days which was over on 18th oct till today I havn't received my refund in my account cleartrip has stopped responding on mails and when I m calling on customer care they are either asking me to send the bank statement or wait for another 5 days....plz advice

        This is regarding a very bad experience at a hotel booked via Cleartrip.

        Had booked livasa Inn hotel, in Karol Bagh, New Delhi for the period of 14th August to 20th August,2012.
        Me and my wife reached the hotel at 11pm on 14th August as we were travelling from Bangalore.But the hotel personnel were very rude to me and my wife and at 11pm on 14th August, 2012, they did not let us checkin. Even though i had a valid photo -address id proof but my wife had a Pan Card as photo Id .

        Though it is mentioned clearly in the voucher that we can carry Pan card as ID proof we were not allowed to checkin. We were treated very badly, and though being such a regular customer of cleartrip, i can see nothing being done in this regard. No one from the cleartrip customer support has even bothered to reply to my mails.

        Since its mentioned in the voucher that we can carry Pan card and we had the same , still were not allowed to checkin then i dont see why i am at fault here, above that i my family had to go through all the embarrassment. After continuously callin Cleartrip customer care for more than a month , only 50% of the amount has been refunded.

        As i didnt stay there even for a single night and had to undergo so much harrasment , i want entire amount to be refunded.

          I had booked a ticket with Cleartrip, ID No. [protected] from Delhi to Goa and Return (03 Oct-07 Oct) on 15 September 2012. However, due to some family urgencies, my mother (traveller name Jyoti Bhatia) is unable to travel on the same dates. When I called cleartrip to cancel the booking, your Customer Care Agent Shafique told me that the booking is non-refundable and non-amenable because I had availed of a Rs. 900 discount while making the booking since the airline had instructed them not to refund discounted charges. Upon asking for the refund procedure, he told me to call Spicejet and ask them to cancel the booking, and they would be able to return it back.

          When I called Spicejet, they told me that the booking is refundable and that cancellation amount Rs. 950 per side has been deducted and remaining Amount has been refunded to the travel agent Cleartrip. They asked me to instruct cleartrip to refund it to my credit card from which the booking was made. When I called Cleartrip, they told me the same thing as before, they cannot refund the booking even if Spicejet has made the refund because of their policy. Let me clarify that this policy of non-refund and non-amenable is nowhere mentioned on the ticket sent to me by Cleartrip and that this policy is flawed by itself to cheat innocent customers like us.

          If you want, you can deduct the Rs. 900 discount you offered us, but keeping Rs. 8000 with yourself that has been refunded by the airline is not fair. I have spoken to the Supervisor also and he has told me that he will get back to me within 24 hours.

          Please understand that I have been a regular customer but this is my last transaction with Cleartrip. On the pretext of offering a measly Rs. 200 off, you guys make 200X times profit at the plight of innocent customers. I hope I will not have to take a dire action and that my refund will be duly processed.

          Please go through the brochure/bills/receipts for any terms and conditions.You can send them a legal notice stating your grievance and for the refund. You have a very prima facie case against the Company. They will certainly start responding to you immediately. I am a lawyer. Please do not hesitate to call me.

            Ref:- Booking of Airline ticket from Mumbai to Tirupati on 01/10/2012
            and Tirupati to Mumbai on 03/10/2012. Trip ID: [protected]

            Sub:- Claim for Refund
            1) Rs 7574/= for actual extra charged (Actual paid by credit card Rs 20324+Rs250= Rs 20574 less one way ticket booked approx Rs 13000/= balance remain Rs 7574/=)

            2) Rs 4000/= extra paid because of Cleartrip site wrong booking for above sector

            3) Rs 15000/= for mental harassment.

            TOTAL claim Rs 26,574/= (1+2+3) payable with immediate effect


            In reference to above I checked Cleartrip site on 22/09/2012 for booking of 2 airlines ticket from Mumbai to Tirupati on 01/10/2012 and return on 03/10/2012 and showing total fare Rs 19566/=. I started procedure to book ticket by credit card and in the mean time I got call from Mr Harpreet from cleartrip portal and asked me to help on line in booking for my tickets for which I was trying through net. I told him that I will book online but he said there is problem in booking of the ticket of above sector and he will do it online without any extra cost to me and therefore I agreed to it.

            After that sequence of events happened is as under:-
            1) He said instead of Rs 19566/= now I have to pay Rs 20,324/= due to fair change and I agreed to it and I paid whatever he said. Copy of his mail sent to me is attached for your ready reference. I paid the same amount is also attached for your ready reference.

            2) After that he said there is further increase in fair and I have to pay Rs 250/= more for which he sent me mail attached which I have paid.

            3) After that he said there is again change in fair and I have to pay more Rs 4000/=, in that case I said I don’t want to book ticket now and please refund my entire money with immediate effect. In that case he said he already booked one way ticket from Mumbai to Tirupati and he can not refund my entire money.

            4) I spoke to his floor manager and requested that this is very wrong and cheating with genuine customer and then he said we can not do anything now. We are not responsible for this act.

            5) I left with no option but have to book return ticket from another source because they were asking more money, at what ever price ticket was available since ticket cost may go up at any price and one way ticket is of no use.

            In this procedure I wasted my Half working day and money as well. I called many times and discussed with different-different employee but there was no cooperation received from your side. They said it happens and they are not at responsible for this act. When I asked about refund of excess payment made by me on their request, there was no satisfactory answer was received and said it will refund as per their procedure.

            This is illegal act and harassment to genuine customers of India. Nobody can make them fool like you do. You have equal and full responsibility towards this kind of act. This need strict legal action against you as per Indian criminal and Civil act. Being a consumer, we are aware of our consumer rights. All the consequences, cost will be at your account.

            In this situation I show cause to 1) principal officer of your portal, 2) Harpreet who cheated me 3) Duty floor Manager and 4) All other employee who are responsible and part of this act,

            In view of above, why legal action should not be taken for all the responsible person mentioned above for entire episode and loss of money and mental harassment to the genuine customer?


            Your written Reply should reach me within 7 days of receipt of this notice hence legal course of action will be taken in this regard.

              Cleartrip.com while offering the EMI scheme for booking International tickets provide 3/6 month option. On selecting the monthly payment for the same the total pending transaction is divided by 3 or 6 respectively and the consumer would hungrily lap up the EMI offer.

              But when the transaction happens, the bank separately charges an EMI Conversion fee, which is not mentioned anywhere.

              In my scenario, I am ending up paying Rs 1300/- more for taking up the EMI option, which I would not have if I would have know I would be charged extra for a Rs 36000/- transaction . Now I am ending up paying 40% p.a interest without any fault of mine.
              This is a major scam and I request you to look into it and save many others who fall for this scam of EMI offers.

                Hi,

                On Aug-11, 2012 I had made a transaction to book a hotel for my parents at Mysore. Transaction took place but rooms were not booked. When i called the Clear Trip team, they mentioned that the transaction was failed, and the money will be returned within 4 days.
                I have not received my amount of Rs. 5600/- to my account till date (11-Sep-12). There was no response from them. my trip id: [protected].

                  This is reference to Trip ID: [protected] of Clear-trip.com . I booked a single occupancy Deluxe room in Hotel Mina International(255, S V Road, Mumbai). check in date was 25 Aug 2012 and check out was 26 Aug 2012 therough cleartrip.com and paid Rs. 3500 online. But surprisingly when i reached thee hotel on 25 the Aug, thee hotel reception told me theat theere is no booking for me as thee hotel did not have vacancy. They even declined to make any alternate arrangement for me. I called up thee cleartrip customer care. Customer care executive told theat he will talk to thee Hotel and call me back in half an hour. No reply call came from theem. Waiting at thee hotel lobby I called cleartrip again and again and in return i got only a single assurance theat "we are talking to thee hotel and will get back to you". Finally after long wait, cleartrip told me to pay some extra money (Rs. 700) to thee hotel guys, so theat theey will make some alternate arrangement for me in some otheer hotel. As per thee suggestion by cleartrip, i paid thee extra money to hotel Mina International. Even theis money receipt i got after 4 days after so many calls i made to thee cleartrip customer care.

                  After paying thee extra money, Hotel Mina international asked me to shift anotheer hotel (Hotel Star suites, Goregaon, Mumbai). After reaching over theere i got to know theat thee new hotel has less tariff rate thean what i have already paid (To cleartrip and Hotel Mina International). In otheer way i have been cheated by cleartrip.

                  I have never faced theis kind of annoying service in my life time. Clear-trip offers thee most non-friendly and harassing kind of customer service. I will always ask otheers to stay away from theis cheat organization.

                  In my case i demand thee refund of thee extra money (Rs.700) i paid and also for thee mental agony i faced. Also strong disciplinary action against cleartrip for giving false commitments theat theey can not honour.

                  Till now also i have not received any response from cleartrip.com. This shows the irresponsible attitude of cleartrip towards customer service. when it comes to assurance they can assure you of anything. But they really do not know how to honour it. They had assured to make the refund within 4-5 days and till now 10 days has passed and i got no response. I demand strong disciplinary action against cleartrip for such kind criminal behaviour.
                  Waitin for below airflight ticket refund from 45 days.

                    We ( wife and I) had purchased a couple of tickets from Bangalore to Calcutta using Cleartrip.com portal. While purchasing the tickets, we used the cleartrip coupons that we had received from HDFC for this trip. The problem was that we the coupon amount was not deducted from the total amount.
                    We then tried calling the customer care center, and the only response we got was that apparently we had not entered the coupon code. They refused to give us any cash back for this trip. We would never be using clear trip again

                      A few days back I booked for a air ticket for myself from cleartrip.com through jet airways.

                      In fact, my dad n me saw the jet airways website (www.jetairways.co.in) to book the tickets where the offered price was 2000rs higher than the discounted price offered through cleartrip.com. So we decided to book the tickets through cleartrip website because of the discount they were offering.

                      My booking ticket number in cleartrip.com is : [protected].

                      The promotion code they asked me to enter was "DEAL30". I entered this into the box where it was specified. Thinking that I will get the discount I went further with the booking.

                      It was also mentioned that the insurance charges was Rs.16. Thinking that I will be charged as per the given amount and discount will be provided I went ahead to net banking and paying the amount.

                      It was clearly mentioned that I would be deducted after the final payment has been done in the website. But I was not given any discount and the amount which was mentioned only was deducted from my account.

                      In fact I was charged for insurance Rs.2106! I was under the impression that I never selected it and remember seeing was Rs16.

                      I went ahead and sent this below E-mail to their customer support, which they never bothered replying too.

                      "Today I checked up all the sites for purchasing airticket from Chennai to Singapore. In fact when I was about to book through Jet airways site, my dad suggested cleartrip.com offering very good ticket price and the difference between both the sites, your site offering nearly 2000 rs. Cheaper.

                      Your promotion page states that if I book in the promotion period from 19th July 2012 to 31st August 2012 I will be getting 30% or 1600 Rs. Discount for asian sector. Also towards insurance it was mentioned 16 rs. So I was happy to purchase through cleartrip.com. it was mentioned in your promotion page that once I click proceed for purchasing ticket by mentioning the promo code DEAL30 , I will be getting the discounted price.


                      But I got SMS information for the total deduction of money for the air ticket and no discounted fare. This fare is more than the Jet airways site fare and not the advertised and agreed fare as mentioned in cleatrip.com.


                      I feel that I have been cheated and I want you to revert back immediately by crediting the discounted money for the ticket as well as for the insurance money."


                      So after this e-mail was not responded to I called their customer support and spoke to their Customer Executive, explained about the whole situation and she said she would get in touch with her IT department and her seniors and will get back to me. She never bothered too, waited for three days. Now today again I spoke to the Customer support, this time they tell me that the I NEVER entered the promotion code. Come on I'm not a four year old to know about the discount and not enter it. I remember entering the promotion code and I said this to the customer support in charge time and again and she and her IT department are adamant that I never did. Moreover she goes about the insurance amount that it would already be checked (that is reliance insurance) and I'm supposed to uncheck it. How can cleartrip decide on their own decide that the customer will take up insurance and automatically check the box? This is clear robbing of money from their customer's.

                      They only reply with their sorry for the inconvenience and ask me in future to uncheck the box! What about the money they took now?

                      I'm really grunted and stoked and feel cheated about this attitude of the customer support team and cleartrip.com's service. If their customer support cant offer a support or provide a solution to the problem NOW than in future is it really called a "Customer Support"?

                      I'm sure they lost a customer in me for now and they will lose more customer's if they continue to cheat like this.

                        I had booked tickets online using Cleartip.com with trip id no. [protected] on 19th June 2012 and paid an amount of Rs. 27186 online. I cancelled the tickets on 18th July 2012 which was acknowledged by them on 18th July 2012 itself by their email. No refund has been made by them so far. When I tried to contact them on 1800 3000 the number written on their website, I got a response that the number was not correct. Then I tried another number from their website - [protected], which also was found wrong. Finally I spoke to Ms Aksha at about 2.35 pm today. She wanted that we go to the airlines and get cancellation endorsements from the airlines for submission to Cleartrip.com for processing our refund. She said it will otherwise take 30-35 days for Cleartrip.com to make refunds. I don't know whether to thank her for the disinformation or not. One thing is however clear that Cleartrip.com is not either very clear about how to run business or are not transparent and honest with their customers. I request the concerned authorities to take note of the transaction and do something. Other potential users also beware of the state of affairs at Cleartrip.com especially when it comes to refunds.

                          Our trip id [protected] i have booked one room with Hotel PurnaVilla at puri for two nights through www.cleartrip.com. On reaching puri we found that no rooms were booked in our name by clear trip. we are now looking for refund and already written to them with no effect.

                          Please advice us the next course of action.

                            I have made a booking of hotel via ClearTrip on 27-Apr-12 with booking ID#[protected]. They booked & charged the amount even if no room were available in the hotel. Finally i have to cancel my trip. I have spoken to the Customer care several times but everytime they commit the refund & i am struggling from past one month.
                            The details of booking are attached.
                            Request the concerned to help me getting my refund back.
                            I just booked a flight ticket for four passengers from Bangalore to Dibrugarh (PNR = LLXJWL, trip ID = [protected]). Within minutes I have realized that there is a mistake in the booking so I cancelled it. And immediately called to cleartrip and airline customer care. But, the Cleartrip customer care representative said I will not receive any refund for my tickets. I felt very much cheated. Is it not cheating? It was just a matter of a few minutes. All other travel agents allow at least a few hours to check if there is any mistake in the booking. If this is the case I will be afraid of even opening the Cleartrip web page again. I hope Cleartrip has the curtesy to look into the matter again.

ON CALLING THE CLEARTRIP HELPLINE I WAS INFORMED THAT MY REFUND WILL BE GIVEN IN 3-4 WORKING DAYS BY AN OFFICIAL NAMED GAURAV AND NADIN AND ON CALLING 2 DAYS LATER I WAS TOLD THE REFUND WILL TAKE 5-7 WORKING DAYS. WHEN I CALLED TODAY THAT IS[protected] AND SPOKE TO THEIR CUSTOMER CARE LADY NAMED GEETA I WAS TOLD IT TAKES 7-14 WORKING DAYS AND MY CALL WAS DICONNECTED WHILE I WAS STILL SPEAKING. THEY HAVE ALL CALL RECOREDS WHICH THEY REFUSED TO GIVE ME BUT YOU MAY DEMAND THE SAME FROM THEM.

                              I am writing to you regarding the trouble and inconvenience we are facing as a result of booking travel tickets through Clear Trip.

                              Firstly, Me and my wife booked our tickets on 6th of march [Bahrain-Dubai-Bangalore] and we received our confirmation email for the same the next day. In mid march we called to reconfirm our ticket as well as to request for a change of dates but was sadly unable to do so , due to your clauses but we were assured our tickets were confirmed. We repeatedly called in march & april to confirm our tickets and the clear tip agents always said our tickets were confirmed and there were no problems inspite of me telling your agents that we heard through news that kingfisher has cancelled their services internationally.

                              On the 30th of April we received a call from Kingfisher airlines and they told us our flights are cancelled and Cleartrip was informed on the 8th of march. we contacted cleartrip once again and they still confirmed the ticket. I personally thought you would have found an alternative and waited for your response. As days passed i called to confirm again and they said everything is confirmed, this time i asked their agents to look closely at the details on their screen about which airlines we were flying through and they still to my surprise dint notice any problem, so I asked them about Kingfisher if there was a problem and then they said they would check and get back to us and they would even some time say why don't you call the airlines yourself and check, we cant do anything. "why do i have to pay Clear Trip if thats the case".

                              I made several calls to cleartrip and mentioned i don't want a refund i want a solution was promised that somebody would get back to me but nobody did and finally i spoke to an Indian i think his name was ashok and he repeatedly said as a personal advice i would suggest you book another flight and we would give you the complete refund on this package and would get back to us next day, but as usual no one called. I called again and I spoke to Alia. It is very frustrating to call international over and over again when nobody seems to have an answer and nobody takes the initiative to solve the customers problem especially a well known online travel agent like cleartrip.

                              Alia told us you could not do anything as the flights were cancelled and the best option would be to book another flight and you would get back to us with regards to the refund for our first booking. After we booked on the 9th of may through you all for the same destination different flight, Alia call us back on the 12th May and tells us you can refund only for our flights from "Dubai to Bangalore" and "Bangalore to Dubai" whereas Dubai was never our final destination. This was a complete package how can you all break it. I dont want to go to Dubai, i want to go to Bangalore and since this was a low cost package we took it. Now we dint cancel the tickets for which we should suffer the loss.

                              I kindly request you to take this matter to higher authorities as we dint just cancel our first tickets but we booked again with the same travel agents with different flights under your agent advises. Please we do not say things like we can refund only the Dubai - bang as this is not our fault this was a package provided by Clear Trip, and penalties as i would like to repeatedly say this is not a cancellation from us but Kingfisher airlines but it is not our fault we just wanted a cheap flight and we have reserved it way earlier.

                              We are deeply disappointed and this was our first online experience with a travel agent. Hope you can find a solution as we are extremely tired of calling, as nobody can give us a straight answer or suggestion or are just unsure.

                                Hi,

                                I have tried a flight booking through ClearTrip.com from Kolkata to New Delhi round trip(2 Adults) on 05/04/2012 with trip id: [protected], it was showing me ticket fare of Rs. 15996/-, while I was trying to pay the booking through my CITI Bank credit card online, meanwhile I got a call from a Cleartrip representative and she has informed that she will give me a Rs. 400/- discount on the same booking if I make the payment through CITI Bank IVR phone call, so I have canceled the online transaction and made a payment of Rs. 15556/- through CITI Phone IVR call. After the payment was successful, she has informed me that the fare got increased somewhere around Rs. 22000/-. So, I have told her I am not comfortable with this price and asked her to cancel the booking. Then, she has informed me that she has stopped the booking and intiated my refund process and I will be receving the full amount of Rs. 15556/- to my credit card account with in 3-4 working days.

                                Now it has been more than 35 days. I called customer support several times but there is no satisfactory response ,but they kept on giving me further time-line. Even speaking to the booking department Team (Ravi and Suresh )was of no help,they took all the necesarry details regading the booking and my Contact number ,also they assured me that they will keep me informed about the refund status and still now i don't have any clue about my refund status.Now a days Customer support executives even disconnects my calls after keeping me on hold for a longer time .

                                Thus i have done follow up with their customer care through e mails and Phone calls,neither of it was effective enough for getting my refund.




                                As a evidence i have my CITI bank transaction email, CITI bank credit card statement, CITI Bank One Time Password(OTP) used at the time of phone pay.


                                In regard to my case, I have the following demands:
                                (I) Refund of Rs 15556/- with interest.
                                (II) Compensation of Rs 25,000/- for the mental harassment and agony that I have gone through and call charges accrued.

                                This is for your information and necessary action.

                                  I tried to book a boston to new york (La Guardia) return ticket on friday 09th march, 2012 (morning US time) using my cleartrip. account.
                                  By the end of payment, there was some problem with the cleartrip site and I neither got the e-ticket on my gmail account nor any update in cleartrip account.

                                  I waited for abt. 30 mins and as I couldn't get the ticket, I tried to call cleartrip. However, there was no one available at the call center to pick the call. I then called US airways to confirm if there was any such ticket booked on my name and they informed that there is no ticket booked against my name.

                                  As I didn't receive any ticket from cleartrip on my gmail / cleartrip account and after checking with US airways, I again booked the ticket (Trip ID: [protected]) and the same got confirmed instantly and I got an update both on my gmail account and cleartrip account.

                                  After sometime, to my surprise, I received the earlier ticket after abt. 3-4 hrs of booking (Trip ID: [protected]). I then cancelled the same immediately as I thought if was not booked.

                                  I have already given the proof of the information by sending the screenshot of timings of mail received for the trip to the company. However, they claim that there was no error at our end as per confirmation from our concerned department.

                                  They informed that they are waiving off only the Cleartrip charges of Rs.500/- as a service gesture. I am not satisfied with the response and would like to have complete refund without any penalty charges.

                                  This is with regard to cancellation of Cleartrip Id - [protected] i had a medical emergency and hence unable to do the travel. i had to cancel the tickets and i have been following up the same for past 8 days rate rules in the cleartrip ticket clearly state if Cancellation is done within 7-2 dys : deduction of 1 night stay and rest to be refunded.

                                  Quoting from rate rules Specific rules for Palm Room – Breakfast, Dinner + Sightseeing PKG: "If you cancel Between 7 days to 2 days: 1 nights"

                                  I have literally struggled with customer care on this for refund with cleartrip they intially guided that its the domain of hotel please have a word with them. I did accordingly; hotel clearly and logically guided me that had been an offline case it would have fallen in their domain, but for this case as it is in the domain of the cleartip as travel booking agent – its for them to decide. I am as it is fighting a medical battle at home and i seem to be struggling for my legit money with ocean palms, goa. Despite following all the said rules – i m being exposed to avoidable financial distress.

                                  Kindly assist in refund of the same.Request your urgent intervenetion and amicable closure.

                                    Beware of these things when you are making a booking on the cleartrip website.



                                    I made a booking for 3 people(all elderly people 60+) through cleartrip, the details of the same:

                                    Place: Trivandrum

                                    Hotel Name: Hotel Tara International, Kaimana, Thiruvananthapuram, 695018
                                    Itinerary (Trip ID [protected])

                                    After reaching the place they found out that the hotel is closed since 2 years.
                                    When I contacted the customer care they kept my call on hold for 30 mins and they kept on transferring the call from one person to another.
                                    Nobody was taking responsibility for what happened.
                                    My relatives waited in Trivandrum for more than 2 hours for cleartrip to resolve the issue and finally they had to make a booking themselves.

                                    After 3 hours I got a call from one cleartrip representative saying that he is ready to make a alternative booking in some other place, but it would take 30 mins more. I was in no mood to continue the call or book a hotel through them again.

                                    I am wondering what would have happened if such a thing happens if you make a international hotel booking through cleartrip?



                                    I want to sue cleartrip for this, can somebody tell me how can I do the same?
