Trip ID: [protected]. I made a booking on 30th Oct 2014, reserving the room for 6th Dec 2014 to 7th Dec 2014 in Leela Grand Inn, Vijayawada. Reached the hotel at 9.30 pm, receptionist says "All travel guru and clear trip bookings are cancelled, we have informed them in advance". I didn't get any email or call or text from cleartrip or hotel. I tried calling clear trip four times, but couldn't get a live person to talk; after 5 minutes or so of 'music', the call drops. Ended up running around, without knowing the language, and after walking to 3 different hotels, found a place to lie down, which is about a km from the original hotel. Have receipt to prove it. 7th Dec is a muhoort day, I was in vijaywada to attend wedding, naturally hotels were full. Sent a mail in the night to cleartip and got auto response, promising a reply, but none has come yet. Yesterday (08/12/14) got through to clear trip, the lady rep listened, put me on hold, said she tried to contact the hotel but couldn't reach, and asked me to call again. After protests, she said clear trip will call back in 'some time'. Asked for a firm time line, and am promised 24 h. After 24 h, (09/12/14) I call again, another lady picks up, same story repeats, and she says they will 'definitely' get back in 24h. Thanks to android phone and auto call record, all these conversations are saved. And all I want is just a refund, we are not in the 'punitive damages, penalty, compensation for the mental harassment' etc. The word 'sorry' doesn't exist with the hotel reception, and you have to use an excavator to get that from cleartrip. 7th dec being a busy, muhoort, day, it is possible that the hotel took more than they can handle and bumped me. I don't want to find out how much blame goes to hotel and how much to cleartrip. The sheer incompetence exhibited subsequently is amazing. It may be a deliberate ploy on cleartrip's part to stall the refund. have been booking flights regularly through cleartrip, for the past 4 years. Clear trip probably 'gained' a little more than thousand rupees in this, and lost a loyal customer for ever.

    Hello, Cleartrip Trip ID [protected] I made the subject trip ID booking yesterday night from clear trip IPAD app. While I have selected departure date of the flight from Mumbai to Delhi as 18th Dec, the final booking happened for 19th Dec. This seems to be because of some problem at your end. The same flight got booked but for a different date As proof of my version, I am attaching herewith screenshot of my IPAD app which I have taken after I saw the ticket. The App clearly shows that my only search was for 18th Dec departure date While the same was conveyed to Cleartrip customer care through an email and phone call, they have conveyed that as per their IT logs I selected 19th Dec. I have the screenshot of the app proof that the only search I ever made was for 18th Dec departure. This is fraudulent version of Cleartrip. Due to my requirement to travel, I have rescheduled my trip by paying the differential amount today which was Rs 2233. Also this has caused a lot of waste of time and unnecessary agony to me.       why do give a false customer care number????its alwys busy...and no way to contact you guys...no point in booking fro ypur site when other sites are providing better customer care srvice than you...sorry to say but your serivce totaly crap...such outdated service during this era of technology...i definetly wnt recommend it

          I have booked a Hotel Accommodation reservation through www.cleartrip.com and paid the amount online. The reservation was made in Hotel Swagath Grand, chandanagar, Hyderabad. Later I have received an email from cleartrip saying that the rooms are not available in Hotel Swagath Grand, chandanagar, Hyderabad. Alternatively they have provided me the reservation in another hotel near by and asked my confirmation to book the alternate hotel, which is Hotel La Calypso, Hafeezpet, Hyderabad. I have given my confirmation on phone as well as mail also. They have sent me the confirmed Hotel Reservation Voucher of Hotel La Calypso for 1 night stay (30-Nov-2014). I went to the Hotel La Calypso with my family to check-in to the hotel. Hotel La Calypso has denied me the access to check-in saying that they haven't received any confirmation from cleartrip about my hotel reservation. I tried calling to the customer care of cleartrip for over 45 mins but couldn't get connected. My mother aged around 59 and my daughter aged 1 year and my wife waited outside of the hotel in the chilled climate during the time I was calling to the cleartrip customer care. As the call was still not getting connected, I took my family to the other hotel in Gachibowli Hotel La Prime Serenity Inn and I checked into that hotel for that night's stay (30-Nov-2014). The issue here is, I was promised the hotel reservation service and took the money from me by www.cleartrip.com but failed to do the service due to which me and my family has to wait outside of the La Calypso Hotel for around 1 hour in chilled climate. My mother, whose age is around 59 and my daughter, whose age is 1 year got sick after they waited for long in chilled climate. We drove all the way from Vijayawada City to Hyderabad on 30-Nov-2014 and already we are tired before we wait at the hotel La Calypso. Why cleartrip has not provided me the agreed service despite of taking the money from me and sent me the hotel voucher? Its responsibility of cleartrip to inform Hotel La Calypso, which it fails to do so. I want to register a complaint against cleartrip that it hasn't provided me the agreed service due to it Ms negligence in not informing the concerned party about my hotel reservation.

            28th November 2014 I had booked for flight through cleartrip from coimbatore to Chennai. On the process, I tried 4 to 5 times to get the ticket. Finally ticket received with trip id [protected], but double the ticket fare charged from my account. I followed up somany times by telecon and through mails to get the money back. But there is no reply from cleartrip but till the time cash is not credited to my account. they told that they will contact within 24 hrs but still there is no call received from their customer care.They have call back options also but there is no reply from their end. clear trip case no:08691323, 08691324 Regards, C.Thiyagu [protected]

              I have booked room for my friend who had a plan of visiting Chennai for his trip. Used cleartrip service to book the room. Cleartrip is not the good option for the booking of rooms on your travel, they are conflicting with the information when it comes to cancellation. In my case about to cancel my booking 24hrs before the check-in, also it is possible as per the cancellation policy. No where it is mentioned there won’t be any refund for the cancellation with 24hrs of check-in. But, when I called to the customer care team of cleartrip they are not accepting the cancellation with refund. They refused the refund with number of reasons which conflicting their cancellation policy. I had very bad experience with cleartrip, please don’t opt cleartrip service when there are many good service provider… Please don’t opt bad service to save your money… Please consider this as good input to get ride of bad service of Cleartrip

                I booked a Flight+Hotel package for travel from Goa to Hyderabad. My Trip ID is [protected] for travel on Nov 22, 2014 and return on Nov 23, 2014. We, 3 adults and 1 child, were travelling to Hyderabad to attend a function which was being held evening of Nov 22, 2014. The flights booked were on SpiceJet and Hotel booked was Novotel Convention Center in Hyderabad. The original flight timing to depart from Goa was 145pm with arrival in Hyderabad at 305pm on Nov 22, 2014. For operational reasons SpiceJet rescheduled their flights to now leave Goa at 805pm on Nov 22, 2015 and arrival in Hyderabad would have been after 930pm. Due to new timings we had to cancel our trip, as it did not make sense to arrive in Hyderabad after the function was over. Talking to SpiceJet, they agreed to refund the full ticket amount. However, Cleartrip.com is charging me Rs 4000 (Rs 1000 per person) for cancellation. This charge is not at all justified, as the airline is refunding me the full amount of ticket cost. I am not getting any refund on the Hotel component, which I have accepted. But to pay Rs 4000 for no fault of mine, is not justified. I request Cleartrip to kindly waive this cancellation charge of Rs 4000 and add it to the full ticket amount which SpiceJet is refunding.

                  Hi, I booked flight tickets online through ClearTrip.com. Now I want to change the flight in which I return back to India. When I called the airline they told me that I can do that only through clear trip from which I booked the tickets. Cleartrip.com has provided 2 customer care numbers at website. One number [protected] is not available and no body picks the call in the other number given [protected]. My call is always put on hold and eventually I have to disconnect. Even if I give the call back option, no one calls back. Now How I can change my booking ? I am in a very difficult situation now.                     [My Trip ID : [protected]] I am writing to you in connection with the above flight which I was booked onto 16 Aug, 2014 with cleartrip. My travel destination was Srinagar, where the weather has been in its worst conditions. So, I wanted to cancel my air tickets that is rupees 16, 776. So, I asked cleartrip to cancel my tickets and issue me a travel voucher or something. They directly refused to process my request. Then, I directly contacted the airline (i.e. Indigo) and they have offered me the travel voucher of whole airline fees (i.e. 12, 000). But, I'm really disappointed with cleartrip customer service. I think cleartrip really doesn't care about the customer's problem. Being a travel airline agent, cleartrip should be responsible to protect the customer’s interest. They charged me 250 rupees per passenger (on one-way travel) for cancellation. We made return-way booking of 4 persons and they charged us 2000 rupees for cancellation just because of natural disaster. Is it justify? I really don't think so. Cleartrip is a really fake travel agent and I'll suggest you not to book your any itinerary from them.

                      I am very unhappy with the service you are providing. We have been telling your employees for removing our business WARIYAM HERITAGE from clear trip listing. The Wariyam Heritage Listing in trip advisor has a clear trip bidding which was done with out our knowledge and with wrong inventory, then we spoke to naveen mathew(naveen.[protected]@cleartrip.com) who is a clear trip employee and now also tripadvisor has clear trip listed which says "SOLD OUT on this site" when customer give the dates. we have been telling naveen for several times and i made two mails from my personal id[[protected]@gmail.com] and two from [[protected]@wariyamheritage.com] which is our official id, and i dont know how a representative from such a reputed firm like clear trip can be such irresponsible that he didnt even reply for any of the mail and on the phone he replied that everything will be solved and the problem is still there. so obviously i feel so frustrated and i hope you can atleast rectify and solve the problem. we have been loosing business because of this issue and many customers also complaint about the confusion that is created. so we dont want clear trip to any more appear for wariyam heritage. I believe that atleast you can understand the seriousness of the issue and please do the necessary actions.

                        I ordered a round trip ticket through Cleartrip.com. Flight ticket in Air India for 28th Feb'15 as per cost reflecting in website was Rs 3766. My return ticket was scheduled from Ranchi to Mumbai in GO flight of Rs 4116/individual..Per individual round trip costed Rs 7882. I had booked this same round ticket for 2 adults, which was of worth Rs 16346.But after downloading cleartrip app, I got an offer code "APPOFFER".which discounted my money by ₹1000.Total amount comes to ₹ 15346 in total. Before routing to payment stage, the cost reflected as Rs 16346 before appoffer.The appoffer would be applicable after inserting card details.When I made the payment total cash deduction from my debit card was Rs 22, 130. The cost of Air India flight in booked ticket was not 3766 now but as ₹ 6999 per head. My query is why is this difference in amount ? Due to this misleadind huge recovery of oneway ticket, I had to cancel my return ticket as well.This was due to company fault When requested for ticket cancellation total refunded amount was only Rs 14, 472 out of ₹22130. Now my question is "WHY SUCH HUGE RECOVERY OF RS 7658 ? I am still ready to avail tickets at ₹15346.Only due to fault of cleartrip.com I had to cancel my full round ticket.                           Worst experience with cleartrip. By mistake I have cancelled the booking and was continuously trying to call at cleartrip customer support but they were disconnecting. The same flight is refundable in goibibo but cleartrip didn't refund my amount 5776. Worst experience ever.

                              Hi, My Name is AnkiReddy. I booked Air Ticket form Hyderabad to Ahmedabad for 27th Oct 2014 through cleartrip.com website for Spicejet airlines. Later on I reschedule to 26th OCT 2014. Actual reschedule charge is Rs. 250/- only by online. But total Rs.13, 307/- amount debited from account.(First time Rs. 6, 444/- debited and on reschedule again Rs. 6, 863/- debited). I Used HDFC creditcard for transactions. When we trying to customer support call is going under on hold and asking contact details for urgency purpose. But I didn't received any call later. I tried from two different mobile numbers. When I contact to SpiceJet customer support, They told only one amount added to Spicejet. Even I e-mailed to services of clear trip. No Reply from them. How may I revert back the amount?                                 Had booked a room at the hotel for myself and friend for 25th Oct 2014. Paid through credit card on cleartrip. On reaching hotel, showed my driving license but hotel staff said local ID proof not acceptable. No where during booking it was mentioned that local ID proof is not accepted. Hotel staff said its some new government ruling. Have booked other hotels in Delhi through cleartrip earlier and never faced any problem. Called up Cleartrip support. Call answered by Vaishali. After a lot of discussions and waiting for close to 25 minutes on line, no solution reached. Asked her, if she could change the booking atleast in my companion's name as he had ID proof of another state, she blatantly said that cannot be done. I then asked her, I will not stay in the hotel, atleast let my companion stay. She again said no! By this time it was almost an hour I was sitting at the hotel helpless and neither the hotel staff nor your customer support was helping. Then I asked Vaishali to connect to her boss Vishal Chheda. He said that he will get back in half hr. Waited there. He called back and said that I cannot stay in hotel, nor can he transfer me to any other hotel, what he can do is let me know if a full refund will be done or not by tomorrow. Till date no call has come. I had asked him to share his mobile number so that I can get back but he blatantly refused to do so. I have never been in such a horrible situation on my life. Have been a loyal cleartrip customer for years and luckily there were never any issues with booking filghts/hotels. Never had I thought that in case of any issue if I had to get in touch with your customer support, it would turn to be such a nightmare. I demand a full refund ASAP as I did not get to stay in the hotel.

                                Got a mail from cleartrip today. Full amount will be refunded. Brings back my faith in the brand. Although the inconvenience caused cannot be corrected but the action is sufficient.

For the 1st time in my life I booked through agency (ClearTrip) totally depending upon them but the reverse happened and my total trip was spoiled /washed away and financial loss / mental stress. I had called on[protected] your no [protected] and Ms.Zainab attended me, I told her that I am for a look out of HOTEL ROOMS at PUNE from 23rs to 26th 3 nights . She started giving me list of hotels and I told her that I need good Hotel, wherein then she suggested me KALPATHARUVU SERVICE APARTMENTS and said that it had A/C DELUXE ROOMS WITH WI-FI, FLAT SCREEN TV, INTERNET AND COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST.I repeatedly asked her whether it was a Hotel and I am looking out for a HOTEL ROOM. She told me that I have to decide fast as the hotels are getting booked fast and she will not be able to help me out with any hotel bookings. Then she sent me a mail which I received after 1 ½ hours which had details of remitting the money to your account. I went to the nearby ICICI Bank, Vashi Branch and deposited the relevant amount of Rs.9862/-and confirmed with her the receipt of the same. I was happy that moment that all went well. I landed with my family ( Spouse, Daughter, Mother-in-law 78 yrs) on[protected] by car and was SHOCKED when I saw that what called as HOTEL ROOM BOOKING was a big complex consist of lot of tower buildings and We were taken to BUILDING WING :L:, 1st floor which was a flat in the name of the individual called as GUEST HOUSE which had 1 big hall, 3 rooms, 1 kitchen wherein already 3 GENTS WERE STAYING AND WE WERE SHOWED 2 ROOMS which in your terms called as AC DELUXE HOTEL ROOMS. HOW COULD I STAY WITH MY FAMILY THERE WITH NO PRIVACY . MY FAMILY WAS TOTALLY SHATTERED AND ANNOYED / UPSET . I immediately called upon cleartrip office and told them the blunder done by Ms Zainab and she has totally taken me for a ride. I was given all type of reasons to avoid REFUND NOR ALTERNATIVE ARRANGEMENT. I pleaded them for alternate Hotel Arrangement but nobody were able to help me that terrible moment. I had made three calls and each call waiting period was 7 minutes, 9 minutes, 15 minutes but no result. They told me to wait for ½ hour within which they will do something, and we were stranded just below the building outside with my family. Think about, how disgusting it is ? Then totally disappointed we left for Mumbai . IN MY BOOKING CONVERSATION WITH MS.ZAINAB I HAD CLEARLY ENQUIRED FOR HOTEL ROOM BOOKINGS AND NOT FLAT GUEST HOUSE ROOMS Now let me know how can u treat a building flat so called as HOTEL DELUXE ROOMS and market them .IN MY BOOKING CONVERSATION WITH MS ZAINAB I HAD CLEARLY ENQUIRED FOR HOTEL ROOM BOOKINGS AND NOT FLAT GUEST HOUSE ROOMS. I REQUEST YOU TO LOOK INTO THIS MATTER AS WE HAD NOT OCCUPIED THE ROOMS AND REQUEST YOU TO REFUND ME THE MONEY OF RS.9862/- BOOKING CHARGES ALONG WITH RS.15000/- AS PENALTY FOR THE MENTAL TORTURE/STRESS MY FAMILY GONE THROUGH .                                   My case is still pending. I got a phone call on my cell @ 3.45 pm approx on 31st October and was told that the amount of Rs.9861/- is being refunded and you need my bank account details and postal address. I had given all the details required over phone and was told the cheque would reach at the earliest. Stll not received are u fooling me around. Pls let me know the status of the cheque and if so when was it couriered or posted . Awaiting reply.

                                    Hi, Trip ID: [protected] I would like to elaborate the issue: During booking this ticket, I choose payment by Credit card option. After the payment page (entering OTP etc) when I was redirected to the cleartrip website it said that the payment was unsuccessful. After few hours I am getting an email from cleartrip that the confirmation of the ticket is in process. So I tried calling your customer support number for cancellation...

The transaction has been successful but the booking id has been cancelled. We spoke wit the customer care executive regarding the same... They said that it will be reversed within 48 hours.But till now the amount has not been credited to my account. Just now spoke with the customer...

                                    Dear Sir/ Mam I had booked a Hotel Room through Clear trip at Periyar Meadows, Thekkedy vide Cleartrip ID No-[protected] dated 28 Aug 2014 for one night from 04 Oct 2014 to 05 Oct 2014.On reaching the Hotel I was told by the reception people of the Hotel that There was no booking on my name for that night .I contacted the cleartrip customer care and after an hour of Investigation it was learnt that clear trip had not given my booking to the hotel and they tried getting one then but the hotel was fully booked thus I had to move with my family to Alleppy to stay overnight and was forced to pay extra money to my Taxi, had to pay heavily at Alleppy for last moment booking a room The cleartrip with just a word sorry initiated my refund.May I request the consumer forum to intervene and direct Cleartrip to duly compensate me for the mental agony, the extra expediture incurred by me, the inconveinience caused to my family wherein I had to replan my Kerela Trip, They kept me on road inspite of ooking the Room 2 Mths in advance.
