Hello All, I am Rikin Gaikwad and I booked Elephant Court - Thekkedy for 3rd Oct, but when I
reached the hotel they were not holding my booking. Called up the customer support but they were not helpful.
The main issues are:
1) If my hotel booking was not confirmed in Elephant
Thekkedy, why was I not send a single sms or email to inform the same, I booked
the hotel on 7th Sep.
2) Why was I not presented with any option when your
customer team could have given me better resorts on 3rd Oct or before that.
3) When I reached Elephant Court, Mr.Sreelaj from Elephant
Court categorically said that they are holding my booking in Pepper Vine, the
resort was not booked by me and I gave no consent to Cleartrip to provide me
alternate accommodation.
4) Why was no bill send on my email id, if you hear the
conversation between me and your customer support team of 4th Oct,
she clearly said that cleartrip will send email to me with the invoice in next
3 hours. It has been more than 6 days. Still no response.
I demand a full refund for my booking at
Elephant Court,
Thekkedy as we were never given accommodation there. And I paid for a
Five Star
Resort property and not for any new hotel where construction was still
going
on, Pepper Vine is not even rated on Trip Advisor. I would have
cancelled my trip to thekkedy altogether if Cleartrip would have been
more transparent with the booking. Cleartrip
knew from the start that Elephant Court is not available and they
intended to give me accommodation in Pepper Vine without even taking my
consent. Cleartrip customer support is pathetic and they should have resolved the
issue but they didnt. I am a loyal customer of Cleartrip and always book my
flight tickets through the cleartrip website, it was the first time I booked my
hotel through it and they didn’t deliver. My Call Log to Cleartrip Customer Support:3rd Oct - Called at 1:36 PM to resolve the issue, was told will get a call back within an hour, but didn't get the call4th
Oct - Called at 10:47 PM, the call time was for more than 90 minutes,
Mr.Yash came on the call and told me that i will get a revert withing
3-4 hours, it has been 6 days Mr.Yash didn't called me up.7th
Oct - Called up at 11 AM, Ms.Elena came on call told me categorically
that she will give me a call within an hour but she didn't. 7th Oct - Also registered complain on the cleartrip website, case # 07954978 still no revert from Cleartrip. 7th
Oct - Again called up at 1:11PM - Ms.Arti picked up the call and said
that Ms.Elena is busy on another call, she will get back to me in
another 2 hours, but she didn't.7th Oct - Again
Called up at 4:14 PM - Your executive informed that she has spoken to
Ms.Elena, but she is not on the floor at the moment and she will call
back after 1 hour, but she didn't.7th Oct -
Again Called up at 5:33 PM, I was told Ms.Elena has left for the day
without resolving my issue, then Mr.Vishal Chedha came on the call and
told me that he will call me in 2 hours to update on the issue and
surprisingly he did gave me a call and informed me that the issue has
been sent to Cleartrip Mumbai Office and I will get a revert on 8th Oct
before 1PM.8th Oct - Called up at 3:54 PM as I
still had no update, your customer executive told me that Mr.Vishal is
busy and I will get my Call today but i didn't.9th
Oct - Again Called up Mr.Vishal, he told me that he has got a
resolution which is same as earlier, I never got a single call from any
of your representative to discuss the issue.I
demand full refund for my booking as Cleartrip didn't provide the
accommodation I booked and they didn't even bothered to let me know that
my booking is not confirmed even though they had more than 25 days to
inform me the same. Please
find attached the booking voucher and scan copy of the invoice from
pepper vine, which clearly suggest that Cleartrip didn't deliver what
was being paid for and forced me to stay in a substandard hotel.

ClearTrip customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
it is a fraud company.
If any cancellation done by ( even if it is not by you ), To get the refund you need to call them for months and they will keep pushing you.
They are only after your money.
Once they gets it, they don't give a damn..
Cleartrip.com is a cheat and fraud company..
Ask them what happened to my booking

And keep avoiding and making all the promises and never fulfill.
They keep asking me to call back tomorrow, after 12, after 2, after 4 and promise me they will call me and TOO MANY PROMISES..
Not even once they called me or reply to my mails..
Please do not use cleartrip.com
Unless you have lots of money to drain into to the toilet..
