We booked a two seats in srs travels through cleartrip.and they given a confirmed ticket. After the booking they called us and tolled the ticket was not confirmed.we booked the seats from mysore(05:00pm-22/Apr/2014) to Chennai(06:00am-23/Apr/2014) and the seat numbers are 11 and 12. At 5:39pm on 22/Apr/2014 they messeged us the seats are confirmed. How the travelers can trust and travel with them.

    4th April 2014 To, Cleartrip Customer Service, SUBJECT: Non-Issuance of Ticket in Name of Kalpana Desai - False Copy of Ticket Provided My complaint with Customer Support at Cleartrip was lodged on 13th February 2014. Cleartrip issued a ticket in favour of my mother Kalpana Desai, 59 years old. She was due to fly from Surat to Mumbai on 14th February 2014. However, on checking with Spicejet staff on the ground in Surat on 13th February, they informed no ticket exists. I called Cleartrip to request issuance of ticket in name of Kalpana Desai, for which I paid more than 6 months in advance, the Customer Services team would not accept our request. Cleartrip not only issued a false ticket, but also refused to acknowledge that Cleartrip may have cancelled our booking altogether. On explaining in detail, I spent 1 hour 12 minutes with Cleartrip Customer Services Supervisor Mr. Ajay. The final response after spending 1 hour 12 minutes on phone with the team was, that Cleartrip would need to investigate if in fact we were speaking the truth. We inquired how my mother is supposed to board a flight on a ticket provided by Cleartrip, which doesn't exist? Mr. Ajay informed us that Cleartrip can do nothing to help. They advised us to buy a new ticket and that Cleartrip would need to investigate if we are indeed truthfully complaining. When we requested that our ticket was booked more than six months in advance - how can i be expected to buy a much more expensive ticket, the supervisor said, "Sorry, we can't do anything about it." In addition to this, no one to date has either emailed us or gotten in touch via a phone call to sort out the issue. We were told that Cleartrip would get in touch, however that has not been the case. I also called Cleartrip today 4th April 2014. I was kept on hold most of the 35 minutes on the phone. The first answer was that Cleartrip has sent us a communication that we must submit our new purchased ticket. On producing this, Cleartrip would investigate how to process a refund. What is surprising and shocking is that there has been no communication whatsoever from anyone from Cleartrip! We are still not sure why Cleartrip must resort to lies and deceit to its customers? We would like answers to following questions: 1. Is this how Cleartrip treats its customers, specifically an older female customer? 2. Why has the issue not been resolved since 13th February? Why has Cleartrip not made any effort to resolve the issue? Why was a false commitment given on Cleartrip's part? 3. Are there to be no consequences for Cleartrip to abuse and ill-treat and mislead its customers? Why is this not a clear case of FRAUD? It seems Cleartrip has been doing this to hundreds of customers: http://www.consumercomplaints.in/?search=cleartrip - the truth will eventually prevail! 4. Why must this complaint not be submitted to the highest Consumer Court Authority, DGCA, Civil Aviation Ministry for suspending the license for Cleartrip to operate? Cleartrip has abused its position in the Travel Industry to falsely issue tickets that do not exist. This construes a clear case of security risk to Airports in India where any customer can enter! Attached is the certification from Spicejet that the PNR for Kalpana Desai was fully canceled by Cleartrip against our wishes. Attached in same file is also bill receipt of Rs. 4, 851 bill of ticket we had to urgently purchase to make the flight to Mumbai. In total Cleartrip owes us a minimum of the following: Rs. 5, 594 (Original ticket price per attached) + Rs. 4, 851 (New ticket price for Spicejet) + Rs. 50, 000 (Mental pain and suffering to my mother) =Rs. 60, 445 We have been unfairly and unjustly treated. The time taken for Cleartrip still to resolve this issue, as well as the brazenness with which Cleartrip ill-treats its customers is shocking. There must be financial consequences for Cleartrip for ill-treatment of customers. We have not only suffered because of the false ticket issuance. The manner in which the case has been handled despite being proven that Cleartrip has fault, is surprising. The fact that Cleartrip issues a false ticket also proves a huge security risk to our Nation. This case proves that Cleartrip has no care whatsoever for its customers. We are prepared to file a case in a consumer court against Cleartrip and its Customer Services Team. A suffering customer, Ankit Desai

      I Have booked a Hotel thru ClearTrip, Made Payment & I have received a confirmation Voucher with some Hotels Policy- No point is released to Couple should carry marriage proof at Hotel while check in .. Since we don't have Proof, Hotel rejected Accommodation .. When I call back ClearTrip CC says there is point no Number 5 is mentioned as Couple should carry, , whcih is not there Please Find attachment that was sent to me post booking..

      Now when I say there is no point mentioned they have sent me another Voucher with another policies mentioned on it.

      We can clearly understand how they are mis guiding us.. because of this I have lost my money & my advance plan program was canceled as we did not received any informantion about it..

      "The hotel reserves the right of admission. Accommodation can be denied
      to guests posing as a 'couple' if suitable proof of identification is
      not presented at check-in. Cleartrip will not be responsible for any
      check-in denied by the hotel due to the aforesaid reason."

        I have booked hotel rooms on 12-13th March 2014 from cleartrip website and got the confirmation along with the voucher code . I called them to get the verbal confirmation also . I received a mail on 18th March 2014 that rooms are not confirmed and they will confirm in next 5-7 Days working days . On same day I have raised an issue that customer care are saying that rooms are confirmed and mail is conflicting with customer care . Again, on 26th March 2014 received a mail that rooms are not available so room can’t be confirm . Trip Ids are :[protected], [protected], [protected], [protected] I have booked my flight tickets and other hotel after booking above trip id’s Hotel room . They should return my money with flight ticket charges, above four transaction and other booking which I made after this . As my tour is getting affected due to cleartrip.

        Never go with cleartrip .. I have received vouchers from cleartrip for Nedous hotels ( replacement of pine spring ) .. 3rd class hotel to stay ..

          I was booking 4 tkts. from Cleartrip (pune-delhi-pune), the amount shown was 32000 on 6th February 2014, but at the time of payment the amount recovered by my Credit card was Rs, 40000. There was no pop up before paying the amount, but your representative said that in the IT call log mentions that there was a pop up before booking, so I insisted to have the call log emailed. The call log was sent but this was not of my transaction, it was some other transaction. This is dishonesty, I had good experience of Cleartrip, but after this issue I have lost faith in Cleartrip. thus contacting complaint forum where I could get justice.           I would say to file a case against them, as I am also facing problem with cleartrip . You will not get any solution from their end . So better to file a case .

              I had booked one air ticket through net banking from new Delhi to Abu Dhabi in 13th Feb 2014 of my Brother in law. While booking the ticket I have mentioned his name Manish Sharma whereas on Passport his name is Manish Kumar. We have requested to cleartrip to change the sir name but they have not change and advise us to cancel the ticket and book new one. On 14th Feb I have cancelled that ticket and book new one.

              On cancelation of ticket i have received mail from cleartrip that the refund of Rs. 6039.00 will be credited in my account within 5-7 days. Till 26th I have not received the payment so i have called to cleartrip customer service and written so many mails with my latest bank statement which is shows that the amount is not credited in my account.

              From 27th of Feb 2013, I am daily calling to customer care and taked with Ms. Sharadha, Ms. Rekha, Ms. Heena, Mr. Shekhar, Mr. Rakesh and even i have talked three times with flour manager Mr. Sachin Pawasker. Every time Mr. Sachin pawasker is assuring me that he is looking in to the matter but till date i have not received any update on this issue.

              Please look into the matter and advise what to do or should I go in consumer court.

                Dear Team Clear Trip,

                I am a regular with your booking site & been booking since the past 7 years.

                I recently booked a flight for 2'nd Feb, 2014. TRIP I.D-[protected] ; PNR - Y9NRB ; Ticket no.-098-[protected] .

                Air-India unfortunately cancelled the flight on the very last minute (got to knw when we approached the counter with the hope to access our boarding card) due to fog & our delhi-chandigarh trip was cancelled.

                I did recv a cancellation voucher from the AIR INDIA counter, but unfortunately misplaced it. When I called the cleartrip customer care, I was informed to submit the voucher by courier to the cleartrip postal address for a refund process. I was also informed that incase of misplaced voucher I could go to any AIRINDIA counter at the airport & re-obtain it. I tried. We drove on Feb-2 by road to chandigarh (as our flight was cancelled) & went straight to the Chandigarh Airport, only to discover that the airport was shut. We are residents of Ludhiana-Punjab & the city does not have a functional airport & I also haven't found the time to specially go to Chandigarh to retrieve this voucher.

                I was also informed that incase im not in a position to produce the voucher, the refund money will appear in my account in 7 working days (today is 20'th Feb). What am i to assume of Cleartrip's services ?? Is there no customer compassion ?? Is it not now the onus of Cleartrip to ensure the full refund is transferred to the customers account post due diligence with AIR-INDIA ?? Rs.8900 is a lot of money for a tax paying citizen of this country !

                What am I to expect following this email ? Will I be heard, will the refund appear in my account quickly ??

                  Here is my experience about www.cleartrip.com. The Travel site. I tried to book Kolkata-Dhaka for 27Jan2014. The Transaction was failed. I re-tried to book. Again failed. This time blank page appeared. Before I try for the third time, I wanted to check, if money was deducted from my account. Yes. It deducted twice. For both the failed transactions. I was under Impression that, as these ware failed transactions, it will be refunded. Next I went for booking again. The welcome page (dashboard) opened and it was showing two bookings ! (Trip ID [protected] and Trip ID [protected]) I tried to cancel one. It said “Sorry, unable to get your details right now. Seems there's a temporary issue with our system.” Again tried to cancel. Same message appeared. I decided to call. Surprisingly there is no helpline number or email id in the main website. Someone really have to work hard to find the contact numbers. No email id visible. And you cannot email them. You can only leave your message there, resulting no proof in your hand. Anyway I could contact them over phone. The guy was repeating what I said. He said, he could not help me in cancellation as it was within 48 hours. Although practically it as more than 48 hours. Finally he told me only Rs. 950 will be refunded. Finally I could cancel one of the tickets. Don’t know when they are going to refund. Tell me why should I be penalized for your own technical fault. They have to absorb the loss for faults due to any technical mishaps, Not me.

                    I booked a round trip flight from cleartrip mobile app on 09/01/2014. And for that an amount of Rs.12044 has been deducted from my bank account. To my surprise, I dint receive any call or mail or message from cleartrip regarding what has actually happened. After waiting for sometime, I tried their customer care for about an hour.And for that one hour, no one picked my call. When I called my bank and reported the matter, they said they sent the approval code and the transaction has been confirmed by cleartrip. I even have the approval code for the same. Again I tried cleartrip and asked whats the matter?in which they said that booking is not confirmed and gave me a booking id as [protected]. I said I want an answer as how will i get my refund, So they transfer my call to somewhere else where no one picked it. tell me when will be my money refunded??

                      Hi,

                      I had booked a flight + Hotel deal with Clear trip. (Trip id: [protected]) When I reached Shimla, I get to know the the road to the hotel booked is closed because of Snow. With nowhere to go, I called up Cleartrip and asked them to change the hotel. They were reluctant to change the hotel saying the policy does not allow them to do so. I was freezing at sub zero temperature with nowhwere to go with my wife and this is the kind of behavior clear trip exhibits. I was not able to reach the hotel and had to forego my money and find another accomodation in the night in that cold. Very sad experience with Clear trip. Atleast on terms of humanitarian grounds, they should have given me an alternate accomodation when I was not able to reach the hotel itself. I had to forego my money for the hotel booking for two days.

                      Very poor customer service from Clear trip. This is the first and last time I will ever do a booking with them and will also advise my friends to never deal with Cleartrip.

                      I demand a full refund and a written apology from Cleartrip.

                        Hi, I am a frequent clear trip user for my flight booking. I have an account also. This time I booked two ticket from Kolkata to Jorhat on 13th Jan 2014 (Trip Id [protected]).Due to some reason i had to change one persons ticket from 13th January to 11 th january 2014. I called clear trip customer care and by the help of their guidance i changed the date from 13th january to 11th january for one person through 'Change flights' option. My requirement was on 13th January only one person will travel and the other person will travel on 11th Jan. As the guidance from the customer care I followed the steps and booked the ticket. They informed me that only cancellation charge of 1500 will deduct and rest of the ticket fare will adjust with the new ticket. But after following the steps i could see that i have two different tickets --1.the original ticket with the trip id [protected] and showing both the persons name( Palash baruah and Surabhi Bhuyan) ---2. A new ticket with trip id [protected] (Surabhi Bhuyan) For both the tickets i was charged full. There was not any adjustment. As i did change flight so i should get back money for Surabhi Bhuyans ticket from 13th Jan after deducting cancellation charge. i immediately called customer care but they are reluctant to help. Again I called then they informed me that they had registered a complaint and told me that they will call me within 24 hr. But there was no call. Could you please look into this and return back my refund. This type of inconvenience is not acceptable. Regards, Surabhi

                          I had done the following booking on 6th December 2013. Silver Sand Beach Resort, Daman, Daman And Diu, India Trip ID : [protected] Date of check in 28th Jan 2013. Dt of check out 29th Jan 2013. While punching in the dates I had by error punched Jan instead of Dec. Then I called CLEAR TRIP. They very casually informed that it is not refundable. I pleaded to check with the hotel and change the dates. They said someone will call me in 4 hours time. I waited and waited - no one called. In desperation I called up their help desk. Someone picked up the phone after lot of waiting and said the following -"Since there is no response we are disconnecting the line"- very fast thrice without giving me a chance to talk. This was done immediately after they picked up. Then I had no option but to cancell the booking. I got a email message from Clear trip that my booking was cancelled and they would shortly inform me of the amount of refund. I waited. Today, I again called them up at 1.10 pm. One Rohit said that I will not get any refund. Is this the way customers are cheated? Action should be taken. The plea given is that while booking there is a link appearing titled - rate rules - if you click on that the terms and conditions of booking are mentioned - shows non refundable. Is this how customers are cheated? Then who will have faith in online booking? PLEASE TAKE UP THIS MATTER WITH THE COMPANY AND HOTEL.

                          Took up the matter with Hotel Silver Sands vide email today. I got a call from the Hotel Silver Sands stating that they have allowed full refund of my booking amount as a special case. I have now to take up the matter with CLEAR TRIP for refund amount. Satisfied with the response from the Hotel. Complaint stands resolved to my satisfaction by SILVER SANDS. Taken up the matter with CLEAR TRIP.

                            Hi This is in regards to a hotel booking we did through Cleartrip.com, unfortunately we choose/trusted cleartrip.com and booked a resort. Trip IDs: [protected] & [protected]. The above booking was done based on availability of property on the said cost i.e. INR :90, 000/- on Dec 29th at cleartrip.com(Voucher attached), fortunately we connected with the property representative to confirm the booking and was shocked to know that they haven’t received any booking/confirmation or funds from cleartrip.com. After have paid INR/ 90, 000, this seems to be hanging deal and middle of nowhere. I have called around 8 time in last three day, everytime is recieve the same answer, we will call back in 4 hour, but nobody does . It is a mental harshment from cleartrip . Now when i call they say the said hotel is full, but when i contact hotel, they say rooms are available and we will call back for alternatives, still it is around 6 hours no calls, but my question is that customer can only book ticket if available. Kindly help how to get the same resolve .we need this booking to be confirmed at the same location, same dates and in same cost as committed by cleartrip.com during my booking

As the 13 days has over and they are just making fake promises.it is their responsibility to refund the amount and confirm for the same. I hope that you will take legal action and stop is High-tech fraud and help me to refund my money. My Account Details.                                 Inspite of following more than a month from cleartrip, I am yet to receive refund of my cancelled trip from cleartrip after deduction of charges. I have called and emailed so many times but no bothers to either reply or call back. First they emailed me saying that they refunded an amount which was less than what the refund should been. After speaking with them again, they emailed saying another refund for the balance has been sent to my account. HOWEVER I have not received a single penny of my refund. I am currently dealing with Niloufer (after going through atleast 5 people earlier at cleartrip) but even I am yet to hear from her after sending two emails and two phone messages for her Whenever I call back, all I hear is that someone tried to call me but I was not available. THEY ARE ALL LIARS and CHEATS. I have spent more than Rs 250 on calls to cleartrip till now but to no avail. I will now have to take some strict action against them unless it is resolved soon and I receive my refund.

                                  This is regarding Online fight booking i have done in Cleartrip.com. Trip ID: [protected] Airline PNR: 32728560 I booked my roundway tickets from Dubai to Kochi through Cleartrip.com on 29th Oct 2013. Since i have to carry check-in baggage of 20kg, i looked for a flight with this option in addition to the hand baggage normally a passenger can carry. I confirmed it in the Section 1: 'Itinerary' of the trip details where it clearly mentioned as follows: "Note: Handbaggage - 7kgs/passenger free (smaller than 56cm*45cm*25cm); Check-in baggage/20 kgs/passenger INCLUDED" Based on this i bought my tickets and i received the ticket in my inbox a minute later. Since the ticket didn't say anything on the Check-in baggage i can carry, i called the customer service of Cleartrip.com to enquire about this. After a couple of calls (earlier calls were been disconnected by the executives there) i spoke to Pragnesha and she confirmed i can carry 20kg Check-in luggage as per the new Baggage rules of the airlines. Since i had a bad experience earlier of booking ticket via Cleartrip.com, that bought me mental trauma and financial loss by paying extra money at the checkin point on the travel date, i want this to be confirmed with an email. I wrote a mail to the customer service of Cleartrip asking them to confirm my baggage allowance which i got a reply on October 30th. It states that i can carry only my hand-baggage and for including the Check-in luggage i have to contact the Airline to amend the trip. I was really frustrated the way this booking portal acts, by promising a service and denying the offered service after the payment is made and giving the blame to the Airlines. I wrote to them explaining the things happened and till now i didn't get a reply from them. Since every delay from Cleartrip cost me more if i go for another booking, I'm chasing them for a revert. Since i have couple of experience like this, I don't want the same to be repeated to other customers. I want to go ahead with a legal complaint (though it cost extra peny)against Cleartrip management for violating the contract and make others aware of this kind of cheating.

                                    On 7th Sept 2013, I had booked for flight through cleartrip from Sharjah to Cochin. On the process, I tried 4 to 5 times to get the ticket. Finally ticket received with trip id [protected], but double the ticket fare charged from my account. I followed up somay times by telecon and through mails to get the money back. But the reply from cleartrip was within 7 days, 4 - 5 days, 48 hrs, 24 hrs like that. Once the customer care executive told that the failed trip id is [protected], but till the time cash is not credited to my account. Regards, Noufal Bava

                                    Cleartrip replied on this page that they will refund the amount within 4 - 5 working days. After 3 working days, the charged amount has been credited to my account.

                                      I had booked hotel in new delhi Trip Id [protected]. .I booked a room for 3 people but I got a room which was meant only for 2 people; hotel authorities clearly said its for 2 people and it was evident from the fact that there was no place for the extra bed.1st question here is that if I booked a room for 3 people and the booking was successful then why hotel denied it for 3 people and why I got a room where there was no place for extra bed. 2.The photos of all rooms which I had seen on cleartrip.com were big rooms with softa and table but the room I got neither had sofa nor it was big enough.rather it was half the size of the room which I had seen on cleartrip while booking. 3.When requestted by hotel to move to room for which I had seen pictures then hotel said to pay 1000 extra and move to the suite room rather than the club premium room. 4.Hotel is showing club premium room on the website and providing premium room which is half the size and cleartrip is supporting the same. 5.I wanted refund because: i) I did not get what was shown to me on the website when I booked it. ii) I booked a room for 3 people but hotel did not offer a room which was meant for 3 people and which had option for extra bed. iii) I paid extra not for the spacious room but to accomodate 3 people in a room which had option for extra bed. iv) I paid extra because I had family with me and was in an embarrassing position since the room offered to me meant for only 2 people and did not have sofa and table and also looked half the size of the room which I had booked. The moment I saw the room I called cleartrip to complain about it.they told to go ahead and stay and they will refund the money to me.but till date I have not recieved the money and the thugs tell me that I had upgraded the room on my convienience.I felt cheated very badly. Never recommend this to anybody. Please get me back my Rs 3000 which i paid extra for the room which i had actually seen on the website. Regards, Anand Srivastava

                                        I have had a very bad experience with the hotel i book with cleartrip.com my booking id
                                        [protected]. The hotel did not give me the room i booked . And put me in another
                                        horrible hotel tiny room with no windows .. i took trouble to browse through the hotels to choose a particular hotel ., how can the hotel guys decide which hotel i should stay ? they put me up in a small very horrible hotel, i had no choice but to take that room, This is unfair practice they show another hotel room and put me in some other hotel ? how disgusting and disappointing . . .kindly help me get refund .
                                        cleartrip customercare says its ok if they do this .
