Hi ,

My name is surinder kaur . I received my refund for my flight on 24th dec 2011 from cleartrip , However they charged me 4886 INR on 3rd jan 2012 for the booking which has been already canceled and i am trying for resolve this matter and i sent many email to clear trip but they are not responding .

please do the need full and i want my money back ASAP .

    Hi,

    I called up clear trip call center to book a flight ticket on 7th JAN '2012 @ 10.25 Am in morning and Executive Mr .Altap said we will the check and confirmed me that flight is available for morning 12.35 afternoon for 7th JAN'2012 and asked to authorize for payment ..while i was authorized due to IV RS authorization the payment got delayed..

    And he told that ticket are sold for the flight, and I asked him to check for evening flight for the same day..And he confirmed that evening there is flight for indigo @17: 40 hrs and i told him to book the for same flight and i had made the payment ..And i told him as i was traveling , i had call with agent near two hours to book the ticket as i was in emergency to travel to HYD. i don't have access to email to check the ticket and requested him to share the PNR & trip id no so that evening i will collect the ticket in Airport with Airlines...

    At evening 4Pm once i reaced the airport i took the ticket print out and then i saw that the ticket was wrongly booked for date 7th April'2012, where as i asked htem to book for 7th JAN'2012..And immediately i called up the call centre and htey too accepted may in hurry agent has booked wrongly,sorry for inconvenience caused.and they said will call u in 10 min they have not called ..again i called up the call center then tehy are saying with that fare no tickets not available and asked me to pay 18000 rs for ticket for the same day..

    Then i asked them, i can't afford that much at this moment as your agent did the mistake you need to me solution ,,they said will call me after 10 min and they responded to me even after three days ...On 10th JAN i called up the call center to check the status of my cases ,,They said still we didnot check that it iwll take another 48 hrs to check the wrong booking status ...

    These Airline Agents are very recklessly towards the customer they even not bothered to update the status even after for three days ..And there is no solution provided by the travel agency...

    Request please take up with them legally ..Here am attaching the wrong booked tickets & cancelled tickets ..as this call center records the customer voice we can check on the date & conversation with the agent for proof ...

    As the confirmed me the ticket is confirmed i even cancelled my earlier booked ticket for 8th JAN'12 was cancelled by me based on the confirmation by the executive...

      there are two complains and am writing after sincerely following up with the mentioned company:

      a. trip id [protected] - in a nutshel, four tickets booked, one name appread twice in the confirmation, had to cancel one on travel date incurred Rs. 7600 for rebooking one ticket out of 4. airline cancelled the ticket in their system and said online compnay would refund. The company claimed mistake at my end of booking, but had notified them thrice on the call of the problem almost 15days before the travel date and on the date of the, they always said they will get back and never cancelled one of the the 2 same name booking. Since the earlier one was cancelled havent even refunded approx Rs. 3883. That is paid for the same ticket 3883 + 7600. Even if the mitake is mine, they should return me the charged Rs. 3883

      b. trip id [protected] - this ticket was presented at the airline counter on the date of travel and it showed cancelled, it was a return flight. it was my dad who is aged 61 and didnot knw what to do. cleartrip couldnot help and asked us to book any flight and they would pay the refund, it was confirmed that the return journey is intact while the airline said both sectors are cancelled. After almost 60 days of wait the refund came on the amount of the booking only. we send them 3 times mails of the boarding pass and the new booking with the same airline. The difff of Rs. 650 still need to be paid.

      am not definately booking with them anymore since it had caused serious harrasement to claim my refund back. Need your help. Pls suggest.

        i had booked a ticket from delhi to kolkata on 20.10.11 through cleartrip & at later stage a canclelled on pessenger from the booking on 09.11.11 & i informed cleartrip team according to their process for refund of my payment after deducting their charges for cancellation.and the matter as follows

        i am a middle class person from ambala & i want to complaint abou the service of cleartrip as it is a very small complaint for u but i[censored] print this or take action against them then many people will save their money from such portals


        I booked a ticket vide no, [protected] dated 20.11.11 from delhi to kolkata & after that on 9.11.11 i cancelled one person booking from the iterniary & inform cleartrip for the cancellation & they assured me that i will get my refund with 25 working days & after i call on 07.12.11 for the status of refund but they had answer of that i will have to wait for another 7 days & i will get the refund definitely After that i called them on 21.12.11 to know the status once again but agian i told to wait tor another 10 days & i do't undertsnad why should i pay rs. 300 extra to cleartrip for cancellation of my ticket when they can't refund my amount within the period they promised to refund the amount when i ask the representative over there(who is attending my call ) to give me some higher official no. or mail id then he/she had no information of that also.so who should i contact for such wonderful services of cleartrip .Cleartrip teaches us never book a ticket through any portal like cleartrip.All my phone records had already been shown in their computer i.e. at what time a cll them up for refund

            Dear Sir/Madam,

            I had cancelled my Guwahati-New Delhi sector ticket on 19th Nov'11 at Guwahati Airport Kingfisher Airlines office. I was told that as per the policy refunds will be credited back to the original form of payment. Since the tickets are issued by Cleartrip, they(Kingfisher Airlines) requested me to contact the concerned travel agent for obtaining refund. I have been trying to reach Cleartrip Customercare, but in vain. I have sent couple of emails to [protected]@cleartrip.com in this regard, but didn't get any reply.

            Please find below the cancellation details of the same:

              I booked my flight journey for me and my wife (J Jagadeesan and J Nalini) for my Chennai to Mumbai and return (details given below) I cancelled the same around 15th of Oct 2011 and I received a mail from Cleartrip.com confirming my cancellation and it says that refund would be made within 5 to 14 working days. But since more than 45 days have passed by after my cancellation and nothing is happening from Cleartrip I forward this to you and request to you to take action on cleartrip.com and arrange to refund the amount to me. I have called more than 5 times to Cleartrip customer support no [protected] and they are hiding the facts and finally say that it is the airlines ( Indigo) is making this delay in resolving the issue.
              The total cost of my tickets to and fro from Chennai -Mumbai through this transaction is : Rs 16054.00

                that an amount of Rs. 6,568 has been refunded on 11th of Nov. 2011, still it has not been credited
                in my bank account. For your information the ticket was booed in the name of Anita Singh from Nagpur
                to Patna on 6th of Nov., 2011 in Jet Airways Konnect having flight nos-9W-K-2333 & 9W-K-2514 with a
                single ticket no.-589-[protected]. The PNR alotted was GYMNCV. please take immediate action
                and inform me with every developments on my e-mail address

                We have processed the refund from our end on 11th Nov 2011, however, as stated earlier on the refund processing email, it takes 7-14 working days for the amount to reflect in your Bank account depending on the issuing Bank.

                  I booked my return tickets with clear trip almost 2 months ago now (Trip ID [protected]),i had cancelled my return ticket (within an hour of booking done) and according to the costumer care executive the amount would take 7 to 8 working days to be refunded whereas the cancellation mail i received says something else below is how much i had to follow up and still nothing done:

                  2nd call after cancellation and the given time limit for refund getting over - I was told it was a special offer ticket (compared to the airlines website it hardly was) so the refund will be done only after 7 to 8 working days of me using the first ticket which was on 09th Oct. Bangalore - Delhi.- If it was so why wasn't i informed about it at the time of cancellation.

                  03rd Call - I was told it is in process with the accounts department and will be credited with in 2 to 3 working days.

                  04th Call after the given time limit got over - I was informed saying the airlines is yet to refund the money and i will get a call back with in 48 hours for the update.

                  05th Call after 3 to 4 days of the "48 hours" getting over - i was informed i will for sure receive a call back with in 24 hours for the update, i kept insisting to connect me to the senior on duty which didn't happen

                  06th Call after a day of these "24 hours" getting over - i was told the reason of me not getting a call back is that its Diwali whereas Diwali was this day and CB was yesterday and this time i will get a call within 48 hours of time and these 48 hours are still not over for Cleartrip.

                  What i feel here as being part of service industry myself and this time as a costumer is:

                  - If you can not deliver don't make promises and promise only what you can deliver.
                  - When you know it might take a month say it don't fool around your customers giving false time limits.
                  - I understand follow is the most important in the industry which i never expected to be so very weak with a company like Cleartrip,
                  - We / Customers off course don't like to follow up and if this is what you expect from us then don't make false promises of you following up.
                  - Its not about the amount of money but something is disturbing me for someone else not doing their job properly cause of which i am suffering because we don't like it when a very small issue like this is just stuck somewhere and the so called Customer Care has no solution or rather consideration to it i am sure they are not their just to talk.

                  This was my first experience with Cleartrip and for sure the last one i just don't recommend Cleartrip to any one reading this provided you want to experience the worst services.

                    My train was cancelled by the train company following severe weather conditions relating to the monsoon. I applied for a refund online as instructed by the staff working at the railway station. I have still recieved nothing despite several attempts to contact Cleatrip and applying for a refund on numerous occasions. They have basically stolen my money. I paid money expecting to receive a service in return, a train journey from Goa to Mumbai, I wasted money travelling to the train station and standing around waiting for a train to be sent home and eventually had to pay for a coach. I should be entitled to my money back as I've had nothing from them.

Whenever I call them they give us false promises that someone will contact me with 48 hours and nothing happens. I called them at least 5 to 6 times.

                      Please kindly help in in fighting this fraud..

                        I booked a ticket from Mumbai to Lucknow for 3 person on IT3149 on 23rd October (mind you i must have done more than 250,000 INR business already with Cleartrip). On reaching the airport i was told the flight is cancelled and it has been so since 15th October – the airline tried to reach me and smsed me at my personal number which i due to excessive travelling abroad didn’t pick up. While the airline did take some customer oriented measures – Cleartrip was smoking and least bothered; since i bought these tickets from Cleartrip isn’t it their responsibility to tell me – email me/reach me using the profile information (other no., landline) about this and help me out. I am not sure why the 300 INR per ticket gets charged. Really pathetic display of customer focus by Cleartrip – in fact their CSR told me – “Sir there are 1000’s of customer flying every day what do you expect!” – Pathetic

                          Hi have cancelled my ticket around the second week on september which i had booked on 31st Aug, as spoken to the call centre executive on the 7th October stating that refund is still not reflecting on my credit card statement the asked me to send the credit card copy, which was done on the same day.
                          there was no response from clear trip post that then again i called up for which i was told that the the refund was done on the 23rd sept however they don't have the ref id, they refuse to give any other details which i can show to the credit card company to cancell the amount from my statement,

                          It sad that such a big company doesn't have there basic right, i work for a bank and witout ref id credit card company will never cancell the amount from card.

                          Please help.

                            Cleartrip had displyed an offer on their website for booking any Rail package and you will avail Inkfruit voucher . I booked 2 packages but I never received the offer benefits. When I enquired Cleartrip Customer care was not responded properly, they were saying the offer was expired whrn I booked the package, but when I booked the offer valid for 6 more days. I had a screenshot of the offer display on Cleartrip website. I also forwared this screenshot to them, but they have not responded on this. This way Cleartrip is deceiving customers by giving false commitments and offer. So never book a ticket through Cleartrip. The serice is horrible...they are cheating the customesr....better to choese other service providers

                              I requested tickets for my travel from Bangalore to France (round-trip) for two-people via Air-France.
                              I was told that the ticket was blocked and I paid a sum of Rs.66086 through Amex Credit Card.
                              Since I did not get the tickets even after waiting for 24 hours, I called up the Customer care. The customer care told me that the ticket was booked and that I will be getting the tickets within 30 mins.
                              I later received a call from Cleartrip and I was told that the ticket could not be booked due to technical reasons and was offered a different Airline. (contradicts their previous statement that the ticket was booked).
                              I declined that offer as I was at a huge loss.
                              I was told that my money would be FULLY refunded within 4 to 5 working days and that I would be getting an email on the same.
                              I did not get even a single email from Cleartrip despite calling them more than 10 times on this issue.The only proof that I have is my Amex card transaction statement. No other proof that substantiates full refund for a ticket that was never booked.
                              I thought Cleartrip to be a highly professional company. But, the customer care seems to highly incompetent unprofessional.
                              Very bad experience with cleartrip. I certainly do not recommend Cleartrip to anyone.

                                This is in regard to report a mislead from Cleartrip Booking and Customer Service Desk.
                                Shailendra Maurya from booking told me that I will get Rs. 1760 as discount and that has been confirmed by Zubin Joseph of Service desk.
                                But Izaz Sheikh told that the discount is on base fare and I would get Rs. 1600 discount which has been processed by Mungesh Yadav.
                                Now the 10% tax is on base fare, so even after getting the discount as 1600 the base fare is 2400 and the tax should be 240 but again they are calculating the tax on 4000.
                                From day 1 there is issue with the booking (Trip ID [protected]) and you can understand what I am going to face with the booking.
                                Can you please clarify why 4 people came up with two kind of information.
                                As per Shailendra and Zubin I should have paid 2640 but to make the booking I had paid 2800.
                                With the same statement I have sent out an email to [protected]@cleartrip.com, [protected]@cleartrip.com but as always there is no reply from their side.
                                Shailendra was supposed to call me by Sunday (02 Oct 2011) but I have not received any call yet.
                                Instead of the standard template that the issue has been forwarded to concerned team please be very specific why these scenarios are repeated every time and can I have my Rs. 160 back?
                                I raised the same in cleartrip's forum (complaint section) but they do not bother to reply for the same.

                                  Its almost more than 2 months now i am waiting for my refund for the ticket booked through Cleartrip. Inspite of calling number of times to the service desk, neither did i get assurance from their team on the refund status and amount nor i was happy with the service. The status is the same today as it was 2 months back. As i had purchased this ticket through credit card, the payment was due on 4th of September. I did not get the payment deposited of Rs 5000 now.

                                  Hi,

                                  I have communicated Cleartrip people and got confirmed before cancellation of my flight ticket.Later i received mail & message about confirmation of refund amount with in 5-7 days but saying NO REFUND due to Airlines disciplines.


                                  I had cancelled ticket before 58 Hrs.As per the policy before 48 hrs it may not.Can you please guide and do the needful.

                                    I was trying to book my flight ticket for Chennai - Ahmadabad on 17.08.2011 and meanwhile net disconnected but i got debit in my icici account with payment id [protected]. I posted my details in cleartrip forum for refund, they said its temporary block it'll be cleared in 4 or 5 days they give me trip id-[protected]. After one month they are saying there is no booking made even I sent my bank statement to cleartrip.

                                      I had booked a ticket on 30th August 2011 for my son Ananya Swami from New Delhi to Manchester in Emirates with Trip ID [protected] . After compelting all the procedure the message was displayed saying " Opps, transaction of has been failed and this offer is no more valid". After 3 to 4 hours somebody from cleartrip called me and asked that your transaction has been failed do you still want to book your ticket. I told him i have already booked the ticket from another agency and refused.

                                      Next day I came to know that my money Rs 32000/-( Approx) had been deducted from my account for the ticket which was refused to book due to expiry of the offer and a mail was delievered that my ticket has been booked. As it was not my fault so request you to cancel my ticket and refund the whole sum of money without deducting any money.                                         On 27th Aug,2011 I called cleartrip to book a flight ticket from Delhi to Amritser [Roundtrip] for Sep .3rd , 2011. [ Booking Ref ID: [protected] ].

                                        After making the payment the that took a long time cleartrip executive told me it was not succesful as the flight seats are not available. It’s so un-professional on the part of cleartrip that they haven’t checked the flights status before debiting the amount from my credit card.
                                        The amount Rs.3,527- was debited from my account but the ticket was not booked.

                                        Cleartrip call centre called me up and told me that the booking was not made and said that this money will be refunded back to my account in 5-7 working days. I made the booking on 27/08/2011 and today its 05/09/2011. No refund yet recieved.

                                        I’m highly disappointed with the neglegence and stupidity of cleartrip and will surely advice my friends or collegues not to book any tickets from them.

                                        Even after giving me so much of inconveneince i’ve not received any call from call centre for apologies and no REFUND has been made till date.

                                        PLEASE DO NOT BOOK ANY TICKETS OR RESERVATION FROM CLEARTRIP.COM THET ARE CHEATERS AND WILL NOT REFUND YOUR MONEY .
