Dear Team, I had contacted your team member on customer care number for the refund of my ticket with PNR - GR7TUH, due to cancellation of flight by the Airlines. It was confirmed to me that amount of Rs 20454 has been refunded by the airlines and the same has already been received by your office. My complaint no is 13139711, however I am yet to received the same in my account. Please refund the same to my account on an immediate basis.

    Dear Consumer Team,

    I have a pending refund amount of Rs 18, 129 /- to be received from the Cleartrip team for my cancelled ticket .

    Details of my ticket are as follows :

    PNR details : D5PQKL

    The finance team of cleartrip team had informed that they have sent the refund amount through a payout link of "RazorPay " on 08.10.2021, however i had never received the same from them . I had informed them about the same .

    For the same, i had been repeatedly following with the customer service executives several times but each time they inform that they will highlight and escalate the matter to their finance team and provide me a response timeline of 72 hours . This has been following up since 08.10.2021 .

    I had also escalated the matter to their senior teams . The only response they provide is that their finance team - Mr Rakesh Yadav had written to the back end team to reset the " old payout link " and process a " new payout link " to me . However, this is happening since 14.10.2021 .

    The case ID for investigation generated with cleartrip are :

    I am now left with no other option but the bring this issue to yr notice for yr kind intervention and resolve the same plz .

    I am attaching herewith the following details for your teams investigation and resolution .

    1) Copy of ticket - Trip ID[protected]

    2) 2 separate screenshots of the refund page on the cleartrip site

    3) The copy of the mail conversations had with the finance team - Mr Rakesh Yadav who confirmed that the refund was sent . I had even provided my bank details to initiate the refund from their end .

    4) The audio conversations had with the customer executive each time assuring that the issue had been escalated and providing a new timelines

    Looking with hope for the consumer forum team to resolve the same at the earliest.

    The issue was pending since the last 2 months . Even after speaking to their cleartrip customer service executive several times, the issue was not resolved . I got to know about the consumer complaints platform thro the online media platform . I tried to understand all the requirements and details from the "consumer complaints FAQ's" to be sent to the consumer complaints team . I collected all those details and forwarded to the consumer complaints team . Immediately, the next day the complaints team forwarded my compliant to the cleartrip team and within 3 days, i got the refund which was pending for the last 2 months . The cleartrip team informed me the same through call on my mobile number registered with them . The consumer complaints platform is effective . Thanks to the consumer complaints team .       I had booked Country Inn Sahibabad on 19th Oct for today's check-in (22 Oct 2021) however as soon as I reached hotel, they denied check-in claiming that they do not have any reservation under my name and neither any booking is showing with the Trip ID which is mentioned on the voucher I received from Clear Trip.

      This is the Scam they are running as I checked Google Reviews, Others are facing the same problem with them.

      I am looking for full refund and also I will reach to consumer court and file a complaint against them for the agony I went through at the hotel because of them.

        I booked the tickets on 30 sept 2021 and cancelled them on 20th october 2021 .I was also paid EZc ancellation charges on the tickets. But I have not received the refund till date in spite of contact your customer care executive again and again. It shows that your services are very poor and your customer executives are also irresponsible for their duties. Further mail provided fro ezcancel is fake and it is not working This is totally harassment with the customers. Therefore you requested to refund the total amount of my tickets.

            I have cancelled my airline ticket on 10.10.2021 for my travel pune to chennai. I have received mail confirmation from airline Indigo regarding confirmation of my cancellation and refund amount.

            Airline has confirmed the credit of the amount from their end to Cleartrip on 15.10.2021 8 am. I have been following with Cleartrip regarding my cancellation status from past 10 day but they don't have any clue regarding my refund status. All they give is false assurance.

            If this is not resolved in next 2 days, I'm planning to file a case in Consumer Court on Cleartrip on charges of Frauds and giving mental stress to customers.

              We booked ticket through cleartrip (Kochi - Sharjah one-way flight -- Trip ID[protected] and we recieved receipt & itenary also same time. Amount deducted from my account same time.While reached at airport, we came to know from airline team that issued PNR (OL3HOC)was cancelled due to the non processing of payment to airline from cleartrip. We took new ticket from airport on same time and continued travelling.
              We got cancellation confirmation from cleartrip trip same day(2nd September 2021 but still didn't recieve the money(Aed 2650.00). While we following up with them, they are saying that, they are waiting confirmation from airlines. But airline already confirmed that they didn't recieve money and they forwarded invoice also with the same. We forwared to cleartrip same time, but they still saying same thing.Now almost 50days are over, not getting any positive response from them.

                Cleartrip shows failed status of booking

                However amount was deducted and as per bank ( ICICI bank), amount was credited in cleartrip account.

                  During the sale event of Flipkart's big billion day, Cleartrip (A child company of Flipkart) introduced an offer of "EZcancel" which when added along with travel booking (for additional charge), refunds the entire booking amount(as advertised) if cancellation by the customer is done before 72 hours of departure of flight.

                  I found this advertisement useful, as I was booking a trip which I may need to cancel based on some circumstance, and went ahead to book the tickets with EZCancel. As foreseen, I had to cancel the trip and called the Cleartrip's customer care to cancel my tickets, I got shocked after hearing the cancellation amount which was less than 45% of the booking amount. I wen't ahead and re-read the terms and condition to verify what I had just heard, and I saw that there own policy says I should be getting full refund (see point 6 in https://www.cleartrip.com/ezcancel/free-flight-cancellation) .
                  They said that they cannot refund "hidden" "ClearTrip" fee which was 3000 INR.

                  More over, when I pointed the EZcancel policy page (https://www.cleartrip.com/ezcancel/free-flight-cancellation) out with the customer care representative and tried to talk with them, they said that the cleartrip fee is not shown when booking and it cannot be refunded. The customer care representative also used FOUL language tome and told that cleartrip is not responsible if I choose EZcancel.

                  This is nothing but a brutal FRAUD that ClearTrip is doing publicly to loot the customers.

                  I am also attaching some screenshots of the policy in case the policy gets updated in future.

                  This has happened with me as well, such a cheaters
                  Indigo rescheduled my flight and I opted for Plan B by cleartrip charged me Rs. 2378 saying insurance fees is not refundable.

                    I had cancelled my flight ticket and the ticket is partly refundable. i have not received my refund yet and also no customer support from clear trip. it has been 9 months and the refund is not issued.

                          I booked a hotel for 2 days where I want to check out from the hotel on the very first day . I called up the Cleartrip customer service but there was nobody to attend my call, tried on the website but it says error, this is a cheap business trick where u can book anything within a second but when the customer needs help there is nobody to help him

                            I booked a round trip ticket (Trip id[protected]for with the EZcancel option amounting Rs 7774, which I cancelled. At the time of cancellation, the refund amount shown was Rs . 6770. However later a refund of only Rs. 585 was done!
                            I paid extra for the ezcancel option only because it claimed to process full refund in case of cancellation, which did not happen. This is cheating with the customers.
                            I should be paid full refund as claimed by Ezcancel.

                                PNR LTUJY9, british airways flight delhi to Canada vis Heathrow airport for 8th of October 2021.
                                While booking the ticket, full name including middle name was entered, but ticket shows only first and last name.
                                Has been complaining to customer care number since 22nd of September 2021, 2nd day of booking. Still ticket with complete name (including middle name) not provided. Every time customer care representative asks for 24 hrs. And come up with same reply, that we are contacting technical team for correction.Ticket booked with name BHANU SUNIL KHAJURIA, name being displayed is BHANU KHAJURIA

                                  The flight was cancelled by the airline at the last moment.
                                  Cleartrip have taken any steps to arrange refund.
                                  ClearTrip customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                                  After posting this complaint on this site I received a mail from Rahul Tripathi / email id : and also a call. He wanted us to download an app and input the debit card number, CVV, etc. to get the refund !
                                  He's clearly a scamster.
                                  How did he get my email id ? He mentioned my complaint about Cleartrip.
                                  Definitely he gets inputs from your site either through your employees or illegal acccess to your site.

                                  YOU NEED TO STOP SUCH SCAMSTERS taking advantage of your site which is supposed to help consumers.

                                    Hello…… recently I was booking a flight to Delhi and it was cancelled by clear trip and they guys said that it will be refunded writhing 3 days but now it shows that the payment is successful and now I have 2 tickets so I don’t know what technical fault they guys have but I need a refund
