Cleartrip has not processed refund of AED 1, 150 towards my TRIP ID [protected]. As per the approved resolution plan of Jet Airways, INR 15, 000 should have been credited by the airline. There is no communication at all from Cleartrip. This may be a malpractice in the absence of any communication / transparency from Cleartrip

    I have booked a ticket on cleartrip ( Trip ID :[protected] which was cancelled on 10th November 2021. I was told by customer care that i will get a refund within 60 days, but still no response from cleartrip and no refund. When i call customer care, they say that it will take another 70 days. Everytime i call customer care, a new guy answers the call and tells me that they will respond within 48 hrs or it will take another 70 days.

      Hi,

      I had booked at royal orchid, pune from dec 30, 2021 to Jan 2, 2022. However, due to the omicron issue, as my flight got cancelled, Iam unable to travel. Hence i cancelled my stay. However i received an email stating that my refund is zero rupees. I had spent 20, 000 Rs for my booking. Why am i not being provided a refund? It states that the entire refund amount is going to supplier charges. What does this mean?

      Please advise urgently, else I would like to raise an official complaint to ombudsman.

        I am dissappointed with your service, because I have been requesting our ticket refund for a long time but we still do not receive a refund. Your promise is that we will wait max 7 days to get credit back to the credit card. You said that the process was on December 8, what date is it now??? why is there NO money YET ??? We are totally DISSAPPOINTED with your service. We need that money back ASAP !!! If you haven't refunded it yet, I will file a CASE AGAINST CLEARTRIP !!!

          I have tried to call their customer care multiple time it was working fine until last month but now shows as invalid. Online it shows a refund of 16, 574 rs has been processed on Dec 1st so it take 7 days to process but I have not received it yet

            Hi Team,

            I booked one flight from Cleartrip (Cleartrip Trip ID –[protected] || Kolkata – Bangalore || Go Air) for 25th December 2021, which I cancelled on 18th December 2021. I was supposed to get a full refund for this cancellation by the EzCanel scheme.

            As per Cleartrip mobile application, only its showing the refund was supposed to be calculated by 19th December 2021. PFA the attached screenshot.

            I received the refund confirmation by Go Air to Agent (Cleartrip) by mail on 21st December 2021, however, as of today, on 26th December Cleartrip is false claiming they have not received any refund from the airline so far.

            Find all the related documents attached.

                  I have booked airline tickets for 2 adults and 2 children to travel to NZ.

                  Travel Date: 05-Dec-2020
                  Airline cancelled the ticket and no refund was issued. Clear trip blamed the airlines.

                  Cleartrip is saying AirNZ is not giving refund as per airline terms and conditions... but the problem is it is the airlines that cancelled the ticket.

                  Now I am trying to rebook the tickets using my credit but they dont answer the phones or reply to the emails.

                      Unable to Refund the Cancellation Ticket

As initially they told the refund will initiate in 5-10 working days and later on after 8 day they come with an email as refund is processing with 0 charges as below.                       Hi Consumer team,

                      I'm having a pending refund of Rs.101306 yet to be received from Cleartrip team.

                      I booked my international flight ticket from Chennai to Denver on 18th December 2021 for my higher studies in US. Due to prior class starting date I cancelled my flight ticket within 24 hours in Cleartrip website.

                      Airline: Vistara and British Airways

                      As per Aviation ministry there should be no cancellation charges and full amount should be refunded back to the customer if he/she cancelled the ticket with travel agent (cleartrip) or airline within 24 hours.

                      I called the customer care at first they said we are processing refund and it will be processed within 3 to 5 days. But after 3 days I got call from the Cleartrip finance team saying we don't issue refund because it needs to be cancelled with airline directly and saying some unrelevant answers. Due to this I'm so stressed and my higher studies are getting spoiled.

                      As a student I'm reaching out to you guys to help me get my refund and send me to US with your best wishes!!

                        Dear Sir / madam,

                        This is to bring to your notice that I have booked one single room @ Hotel Metro Continental, Charbagh, Lucknow from 7th to 9th December 2021. But when I reached at the hotel, the name was something different ( It is showing Hotel Metro VIEW)

                        After checking with them, Thay said that the address is their hotel premises but they didn’t have any idea of HOTEL METRO CONTINENTAL

                        I tried to contact all your customer care number[protected] / [protected]…but all are unanswered

                            The Airline Air India rescheduled my flight the timing was colliding with another connecting flight. So I cancelled my ticket. bought another Air ticket from Spicejet from your portal.

                            Till today I have not received any refund nor any reply to my emails for the cancelled Air tickets.

                            Is there some way we can be contacted or any office of cleartrip exists in India so we can Reach them.

                              I'm writing regarding the refund status of my flight with trip ID[protected]. The cancellation was done by the AIRLINES and informed to me by email. Every other airlines when a flight is cancelled by them does an IMMEDIATE refund, but with cleartrip I was asked to log in and claim my refund. At the time it said that I would receive a refund in 10 days, but it's been over 15 days since the cancellation and the Rs. 79, 433 I paid are still not refunded to me.

                              When I enquire about the status all I hear back is that I will get a call back. When I have made the payment to CLEARTRIP directly and not the airlines, why is my money pending from Cleartrip's side because of the airline?

                              When I call your call centre the agents are completely unable to provide even a timeline on when I can expect the money back.

                                Dear Cleartrip,
                                1. I’m a serving Naval officer presently posted in Kochi, Kerela. Due to an inadvertent accident of mother of my subordinate sailor Neeraj Singh on 13 th Dec, I booked a Go first flight for him via cleartrip from Kochi to Bom G8 348 and BOM to Delhi G8 2315 ( trip ID[protected], PNR- A2IH6Y).

                                2. Upon booking the flight, the amount was deducted from my account, however confirmation of booking was kept on hold . Subsequently, Neeraj Singh received a msg ( photo of msg enclosed) that payment is unsuccessful and if amount is deducted, it will be refunded in 3-10 working days . However later on a msg concerning confirmation of booking was received, but by that time a new flight of Indigo was already booked.

                                3 . Subsequently, the Go First flight was cancelled for Neeraj Singh from our end just 3 hrs before take off.
                                4 . It is pertinent to mention that all this mischap happened due to reception o[censored]nsuccessful payment message from your end, cause of which I was forced to book an another flight.
                                Therefore you are requested to initiate full refund for the above mentioned GO Air flight.

                                  My friend was booking an air ticket, and under traveler details I had first written my own name, which he changed later on while booking his ticket. He changed the traveller name to his name, put in his email id and number, and paid the full amount for the ticket.

                                  Guess what happens next, I get a confirmation mail from the airline itself with an air ticket in my name, while he gets a confirmation from cleartrip with a PNR ID under his name!

                                  This absolute absurdity made us call the customer support, which denied responsibility completely, asking us to just cancel the ticket which would lead to us losing money because of their incompetence. After a bit of wrangling, the customer support asked for 4 hrs time to understand the issue and promised to call back.

                                  We got no call. And when we called, they conveniently did not answer. Now we do not know under who's name the ticket is since we have received no confirmation from them.

                                    I booked a hotel RNS Residency for Murudeshwar Karnataka from cleartrip website mobile app. 1 day before the trip When I tried to confirm my booking from the hotel they denied it. They said there is no booking with this name and even they don't take booking from cleartrip. I had to cancel my booking from cleartrip and use another website to book the hotel. Even money is refunded by Cleartrip but I would like you guys to look into the issue of why this happened as this has been a really bad experience for me and I will think twice before booking hotels via cleartrip. I am writing this email so that it doesn't happen to other people. I was not able to reach cleartrip guys by any means. On the website the no. which is given asks you to connect via website. It was such a harassment situation that 1 day before I had to check the hotel all over again and how come the cleartrip is saying that booking is confirmed. What if we have not called up in the hotel and ended up reaching there without any booking. I have now booked the same hotel at a higher price and I would like cleartrip guys to compensate for it.
