I cancelled my trip 4 days in advance.

As per #indigo policy, airline cancellation charges for 2 passengers should b Rs. 6000, whereas the invoice shared by #cleartrip shows cancellation charges as Rs. Rs. 10651.

Please help me get my full refund.

    Hello Consumer complaints forum,

    I recently booked a flight ticket from Mumbai to Frankfurt from ClearTrip.com[protected] at a price higher then the Emirates website obviously thinking of better customer support. Unfortunately since the VISA was approved for a day lesser than my booking date. I realized it after booking the ticket so I called in Customer Service within 24 hours to shift the date a day earlier but the customer service officer stated asking for a hefty rescheduling charges of about 20% of the ticket price and instead of rescheduling the return ticket forced to reschedule both inward and outward journey ticket. When I contacted Emirates for the rescheduling they were ready to offer for free and could have offer flexibility to make changes only in the return journey as I informed them within 24 hours but unfortunately since I booked via ClearTrip.com they couldn't help me any further.
    ClearTrip.com claims that the charges are levied by Airline but its not true as Emirates gave it to me on email that why can't ClearTrip.com alter one side journey.
    I felt is totally cheated & misinformed and regret booking ticket with ClearTrip.com.

    I cannot afford to pay 20% charges for rescheduling and about 40% charges for cancellation of ticket as its simply unrealistic charges far more then what the Emirates is charging.

    I need help in rescheduling my inward flight from Frankfurt.

        I did not board flight AK13 SZNVTB because of the delay in the security check and I can't able to travel on this same flight, so I request a refund for the Airport Tax paid. Still no they didn't refund the amount. saying so and so reason the amount was not getting back

          Hi sir/mam i was invited by an agent to click the places of the picture of the hotels nd get paid for it. they said they are leading agency for cleartrip. first time they paid me. but the time goes while booking there appears the so called standard package which allows to got more commissions but the problem is they asked me to pay high amount. i did for first time around 80 thousand and i paid to continue. then just after two bookings appears another one more commission nd they asked to pay 148k. i told them i cant and request them to refund money but they didt nd aske me by all means i have paid otherwise i will get nothing.
          This seems very doubtful. is this really a cleartrip robbing the people? or someone cheating the people in the name of cleartrip.

            My ticket from bangalore to kolkata was in 26th jan, spicejet though delayed it for 1hr, so I wanted to reschedule it, but later change of plan I cancelled it before 3hrs of boarding, as far as norms I was promised to get at least 25% of the money which I had given during booking the booking was 6398 rupees, and as I had cancelled before 3 hrs I will be getting 2100 rupees, but I got 0 rupees, upon calling to spicejet customer care they said cleartrip never raised a ticket for cancellation, hence I was absent to board the flight.
            I want my money back

                First Trip :[protected] got delayed by nearly 5 hours; thus we missed the second flight from Singapore to Dubai . And it became a no show and emirates has suspended the PNR FTB2DB. We had to book another emirates flight and we flew to Dubai : Booked emirates ticket costed us ( 3650 AED ) equivalent to (82745.29 INR)

                On the day of return, we came to know about emirates has suspended the PNR. After long hours of talking with emirates support, they have opened the suspended PNR and asked cleartrip to reissue the flight so that we could fly, However cleartrip support was not willing to help and infact they misleaded us and didnt provide any support, We couldnt afford to miss another flight because we had another connection from Singapore to Melbourne. There fore we had to book another emirates flight : KGZ5M6 costing us AED : 7600 ( equivalent to 172291.56)

                We had lost more than 3L Indian rupees in this trip. We need a full refund of emirates flight which we booked duplicate due to Cleartrip issue.

                Kindly help us in this case

                    Trip ID:[protected] I have paid an additional fee for the Economy Smart package, which was advertised to include free seat selection. However, my selected seat is not showing as confirmed. Despite receiving an email stating that the paid seat would be refunded due to unavailability, I want to emphasize that seat selection was supposed to be complimentary under this plan. I paid an extra 2500 rupees for this package compared to the Economy Light fare. Therefore, I kindly request either a confirmed seat as per the promised benefit or a refund of the excess amount paid over the Economy Light fare.

                      I recently purchased a flight ticket through ClearTrip's platform. During the booking process, the website displayed an offer of a 25% discount on the ticket price upon logging in using a phone number. Despite following this instruction and providing my personal phone number, the anticipated promotional discount was not applied after logging in. Consequently, I proceeded with the ticket purchase at the full price, intending to later remove my account due to this misleading experience.

                      However, I encountered difficulties in attempting to delete my account or remove my phone number from the ClearTrip website. This situation raises concerns regarding the company's practices, including the use of deceptive promotional discounts and the collection of personal information, such as phone numbers, without an option for individuals to easily manage or delete their data.

                      It is recommended that ClearTrip address these issues appropriately and delete my account and phone number from their data base, as they could potentially infringe upon consumer trust and privacy rights.

                        I booked a flight ticket of Alliance Air from Guwahati to Kolkata on 13 August 2023 at 00:48 hours through Cleartrip.com. Th booking ID was[protected]. The flight was scheduled for 13th August 2023 at 20:15 hours. But after I paid for the ticket, I got a message from Cleartrip.com informing me that my booking could not be completed. They said they have initiated a refund and the money will be credited to my account in 5-7 working days. I went on to book another ticket through another airlines. Now, at 16:15 hours on 13 August 2023 I got a message from Alliance Air that sent me my PNR for the flight.
                        Where is my fault? They said the booking isn't confirmed and I shall get my refund. So, I went and booked another flight. Now they are saying the first flight is confirmed. Please resolve this issue as I am not at fault. Please help me get my refund.

                          My flight(G8-423) got cancelled by go first on 19th May 2023 and refund is still showing as processing from last 4 months. There is no update from the airlines or cleartrip on this. Whenever I called them they simply mentioned it's in progress.

                            I have to cancel the flight ticket (Trip ID[protected] from Trivandrum to Ahmedabad on medical grounds. I have suffered leg injury and am unable to proceed for the planned trip. I have submitted all the required medical documents as advised. However I got the reply as refund rejected. If your intention is just to cheat the customers by giving false offers, please stop doing it. During the cancellation your system shows the refund of Rs.1582 but after cancellation the refund received was only Rs 791. This is another step of cheating.
                            Reason for rejection not shared.
                            I have already mailed to [protected]@cleartrip.com but no response.

                            Today I received a call and the caller advised to install Any desk on my mobile and give access to them for refund. Is customer mobile access is required for refund. The caller want to get customer mobile full access for stealing customers personal details and not giving refund. The call received was from [protected] and I have kept the discussion recorded.

                            CLAERTRIP to clarify their customer complaint resolution strategy. If they want to refund they can do it through the same gateway through which they received the payment if not please don't harass the customer.

                              I have booked my flight on 16th july at midnight as i got a call from my family saying my grandfather is very critical and he want to see me for the last time, on 17th morning i saw the cleartrip application it says 12:55 is my flight, due to gurgaon trafic I reached at the airport at around 12:10 and i still have 40 mins in my hand as per the application, but indigo said I’m very late and they can’t help, nobody from the neither helped me with my baggage nor they provided any solution, but I couldn’t find any other way rather booked another flight by giving 3700 more and i came back home, I want either a reshdule this flight or give me half of the refund anyhow.

                                I cancelled flight ticket in cleartrip for medical reason for my mother and uploaded all the related medical prescriptions, hospital bills, discharge summary, reports, yet they didn't process cancelation on medical grounds, it's purely FRAUD and harassment to passenger who have to cancel flight for genuine medical reason

                                  The cleartrip website gives option of ezcancel which says 90% refund in case of cancelling tickets within 72 hrs of departure.
                                  now if I want to book international ticket also they are showing the option of ezcancel. luckily i checked their t&c before booking and i saw in their t&c they say ezcancel is applicable only to domestic flights. this is clearly a false trap which makes people to choose the ezcancel option in order to save money. but later when we go for refund they deny and say it is applicable only for domestic flights.
                                  if ezcancel is only for domestic flight tickets, then why do they give it as option when booking international tickets.
                                  this is big fraud.

                                    They automatically switched my arrival and destination airports and booked two wrong tickets for us. Not once, but this happened twice. They would not refund the money spent at any cost.
                                    Their customer care team doesn't care about customers, only passing the buck from one scared manager after another. They will not accept their fault lest the company sacks them of their cushy manager jobs.

                                      I had a flight from Bhubaneswar to Mumbai on 26th June 2023 with Trip ID[protected]. But due to medical emergency I had to cancel the flight on 23rd June 2023. On medi-cancellation policy, Cleartrip has to refund the appropriate amount on successful submission of required documents. Upon successful submission of all the required documents on 3rd of July 2023, my refund was approved on status tracking page with mention of crediting the amount within 24 hours. But after some days they deactivated the link and saying that no documents were submitted and also the link can't be reactivated. This may be their technical glitch or they are cheating customers by saying so. Strict action should be taken on him to avoid such cheating on the name of non-submission of valid documents.

                                        I booked a roundtrip flight on GoFirst Airways to Nagpur on January 19, 2023 via Cleartrip for travel on April 23, 2023 (BOM to NAG) returning on April 26, 2023 (NAG to BOM), Cleartrip TRIP ID[protected].

                                        On April 13, 2023 in the evening I received an email from GoFirst informing me that my outbound flight on April 23, 2023 (Bom to NAG) had been cancelled. On April 17, 2023 I phoned Cleartrip and cancelled the flight. At the time of cancellation, I informed the agent that I had closed the bank account that was used to make the payment in March 2023 and requested they share the form to change bank details for my refund.
                                        The agent requested for a bank confirmation of them same. I shared the email from the bank confirming the account closure at least 3 times that morning while on the phone with the agent, who then confirmed he received it. Without reviewing my request, they refunded the money to the account that was closed in March 2023.
                                        On April 26, 2023, Go First informed me that they had delayed my return flight (NAG to BOM) by more than 4 hours. Since this was an inconvenience, they offered me a full refund if I wanted to cancel my flight. I cancelled the flight with GoFirst and phone Cleartrip immediately and cancelled the flight with them. I received a call in the evening on April 26, 2023 from customer service agent Suraj, who spoke with me at length and repeatedly confirmed to me that he had cancelled the flight. Before we ended the call I asked him again to confirm that the flight had been cancelled by ClearTrip and that I will receive a FULL REFUND, he agreed.

                                        Since then, Cleartrip has informed me that the bank closure email is not acceptable, they require a letter issued by the bank on the letterhead and wanted 3 months of bank statement. The bank could not accommodate the request on letterhead but they shared a signed and stamped copy of the contents of the closure of account email. The scanned copy of the letter was shared with Cleartrip along with alternate bank details to issue the refund. Not accepted by Cleartrip, they need a photograph of the letter, which was shared. Not accepted by Cleartrip. Asked for 3 months of bank statement "to make sure payment was not received in customer's account", I informed them again that the bank account was closed in March 2023 and so I could not give a statement from the bank for those dates.
                                        On May 6 I received a phone call from Cleartrip who informed me that the refund has been processed to the original mode of payment and wanted me to confirm. I informed them that the bank account was closed so the refund could not be processed, they refused to accept and sent an RNN telling me to speak to the bank to find the funds and take a cheque from them.
                                        will not confirm if the funds have been credited to their account. Finally, on May 7, when I received another call from Cleartrip customer service telling me that I have not submitted the documents for the refund.
                                        I asked when the total of Rs. 6969 will be refunded, the agent named Sonali informed me that only 1 flight was cancelled, and the return flight from NAG to BOM is still active. I request for the flight to be cancelled.
                                        After the call, I made a post on Social Media and spoke to an agent named Aftab who assured me he would investigate the matter and give me regular updates. I informed him I would complain against the company if my refund was not issued in 1 week, he assured me he would work to close the matter, no updates from him since then.
                                        After many phone calls since May 7, the return flight from Nagpur to Mumbai was finally cancelled.
                                        On June 19, 2023, the bank confirmed they cannot find the refund that Cleartrip claims they sent against the RNN provided. The same was informed to Cleartrip.
                                        On June 24, 2023 a person Sunil, claiming to be a manager confirmed that the total payment of Rs. 6969 will be refunded to me via payment within 8-10 business days.
                                        Since then till today, July 12, 2023, Sunil/ Manager has not returned any of my calls and ALL the agents tell me the refund for BOM to NAG has been processed and NAG to BOM is pending with GoFirst.
