This is regarding Trip ID : [protected], I booked ticket via Cleartrip. I booked the ticket with Flexifly option stating that "Free date change even when switching airlines. Pay fare difference, if any."
While I tried to change the date, the customer care saying the amount deducted in the name of flexifly is insurance. And For rescheduling I had to be on call for 49min and pay some additional amount .
Also during making the payment on Cleartrip website, the additional amount is showing under cap of "flexifly", but while I received the bill over email its mentioned as "insurance".
Its a way of making customer fool by charing in wrong means.
ClearTrip customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

Updated by sujoyr So if the amount is charged for insurance, then they must mention of Insurance. Whu false/wrong way making money of saying its flexifly and additional false promise of benefits.
