I have booked flight 2 tickets from pun - blr in goair 242 flight [ 1850 hrs ] through cleartrip on 10.7.19 and on 23rd jul i got information from airlines that the said flight been cancelled and contact cleartrip for alternate arrangement. Immediately i have contacted [ 23rd jul ] cleartrip and requested them to re-book on air asia flight which is at 1920hrs and the pricing was same of goair. They have agreed to do so and wait till next day morning 9am to revert back. As i haven't received any feed back, till 11am on 24th jul i have re-checked with them but their reply was to wait till after noon and they have assured me to arrange the alternate booking, @account of goair as they have cancelled the flight. I have waited till 6pm and since there was no feedback, again called them back but again they have asked me to wait till 8.45pm and assured me that they will do the needful for the re-booking. As usual i haven't received any feedback till 10am, on 25th jul i have called them again. Now the reply was totally different. They said they can only cancel the old booking and refund the full amount, in 21 working days. Re-booking need to be done by individual at the rate available now. When i checked it was found the rates were more than double of the rate, of 23rd afternoon when i registered my complaint. If they could have asked me to do the re-booking by self, on 23rd or on 24th jul itself then i could have saved the additional money that i had to cough up and saved from the mental agony, i had to undergo. I feel m/s cleartrip should compensate suitably, for the financial losses and the mental agony i have undergone.
