I have booked air ticket on 28th february 2019 for travelling by indigo flight from trivandrum to new delhi for 24th april 2019 and return ticket for 29th april 2019 for me, my spouse & son. A payment of rs. 33, 768/- was made for the same. The trip id was[protected]. Subsequently, on 13th march 2019, i have cancelled tickets of trivandrum-new delhi sector for my spouse & son and all the return tickets retaining my ticket (Total 5 tickets cancelled). The refund also has been processed and i got the refund amount on 20th march 2019 as per your calculation sheet which is calculated for 5 tickets only. On 15th march 2019, i took a print out of my uncalled ticket with the above trip id wherein only my name also has been clearly shown. However, when i reach at the airport on 24th april 2019 and during check-in, i was informed by indigo authorities that my ticket also has already been cancelled. It was surprising and i had to by another ticket with a high charge (Rs.31, 735/-) as my journey was in urgent nature. Since the cancellation was done without my request, i express my grievance before you and request you to kindly look into the matter and refund the entire amount (Rs. 31, 735/-) which i have paid for purchase of ticket in the last minute. I also request the management to take necessary action against the officer who is responsible for the mistake committed.
