    I have booked a flight and due to uncertain reasons had to cancel, the booking was cancelled via the flight operating website only, even though cleartrip charged their own cancellation fee and left me with no money credited.
    This is completely exploitation of consumer on behalf of cleartrip, when i reported it to them, they denied any changes and mentioned it that they are mandatory to keep their business running.
    ClearTrip customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
    I have made a flight booking and payment was successfully done to the cleartrip by paytm.

    But ticket was not generated.

    I have tried to contact to support by their number or email I'd.

    They didn't respond back.

      Hello,

      This has reference to the trip id: [protected], berlin to kolkata (One way) flight ticket for 2 passengers.

      They were denied boarding the flight by lufthansa airlines at tegel airport berlin on 07-jan-2018 as a result of this there was a no show in the connecting air india flight from frankfurt to delhi followed by delhi to kolkata.

      The passengers were my aged parents and one of them was sr. Citizen.

      They arrived at the airport. 3 hrs prior to boarding, at the check in counter of lufthansa, they were told, that there was no confirmation of the ticket from the agency (Cleartrip.com), therefore they can’t be allowed to board the flight and was asked to contact cleartrip to get this issue resolved. They carried a valid e-ticket which was sent to us over email.

      Immediately, i had tried to make contact with cleartrip, the call kept me on hold over 40 mins. Finally i could catch hold of an agent named rahul from the cleartrip customer support. He kept me on the phone and seemingly tried to get to the bottom of it. I was on the call for over 2 hours and have been kept on long hold on multiple occasions.

      Whilst i was kept on hold, it was time for the lufthansa flight departure. The flight departed leaving my parents behind in berlin airport. So there was no point in sorting the ticket anymore, so i had asked for a full refund as this was not our fault. Unfortunately, he did nothing, just tried to pass the blame on to the airlines and wrap up the call. He has been extremely insensitive to the whole affair and said at some stage of the call that there will be no refund given. How ridiculous statement was that?

      The transit time in frankfurt was 1 hr so there wasn’t any chance of taking the next flight which could enable them to avail the connecting air india flight.

      My parents were running out of their schengen visa, so they had to travel that night otherwise it would have been an over stay in germany. Just to manage immigration affairs, i booked a new ticket from the airport worth eur 1250 and put them on qatar airways back to india.

      I was asked by cleartrip to contact airlines as they claimed it to be an airlines fault. I contacted lufthansa that night, and they checked everything at their end and confirmed it was a fault on cleatrip’s behalf. Cleartrip had not ticketed the trip with lufthansa properly, that’s why the ticket got ‘unticketed’. This was exactly the statement made by the lufthansa.

      I went back to cleatrip that night and spoke to quaaid one of the customer support agents and i was asked to call back again at 9.00 am in the morning for a follow up. He promised to investigate the issue and contact the airlines authority and arrange a refund. Cleartrip on that occasion did acknowledge that the issue was with the sales team who did not do the ticketing job properly and that i need to call up during their working hours to sort this out.

      I was surprised and thrown by the statement made. Why would i need to call back to get this investigated. Shouldn’t cleartrip show some level of ownership?

      I gave them 4 full days to look into it and then called cleartrip back on 12-jan during the work hours. This time i spoke to an agent, again she tried to pass the blame to lufthansa. Then i spoke to one of the supervisors named chandrika who assured that he will get me a resolution by 15-jan and that he will call me back with a resolution but never heard back from him.

      On 15th night, i rang cleartrip again asking for the refund. I spoke to omkar and he again asked for 48hrs, it seems cleartrip is not able to contact airline authority (How funny is that, when lufthansa is still running its flights and business, cleatrip wasn’t able to establish contact with its supplier lufthansa in past 7 days). Isn’t this customer harassment? Isn’t this a deliberate attempt to try and get away with customer’s hard earned money?

      It was clearly agreed by all the agents on the call, that it wasn’t the customer’s fault.

      1. I would like to ask you, why should the customer suffer when its a problem between cleartrip and the airlines? Shouldn’t you pay off the customer first and then get this
      Sorted amongst yourself and airlines?
      2. Why would you hold back customer’s money?
      2. Its an international flight ticket and we are talking about more than 71 thousand rupees and on top of that i had to book a new ticket paying another 40 grand to fly them out
      Of the country?
      3. Should you not take ownership of the issue and get the customer his dues?
      3. Isn’t this a lie that, cleartrip couldn’t contact lufthansa airlines to sort out the issue in the past 8 days?

      All these days i have been pushed from pillars to post without any solution to this issue. This is a total day light robbery and an unscrupulous way of making money.

      If you care about your business reputation, please arrange a refund.

      At this circumstances i would have to think a million times before recommending cleartrip as travel booking company.

      You are not at all customer centric but champion in customer harassment.

      You have tried to pass the blame showing lack of ownership and break the customer’s trust.

        Sir/Madam

        I had a booking ID No:[protected] booked on 10.1.2019 for stay at Hotel Beena Residency, Kollur for check in on 12.1.2019

        It is astonishing to note that my family could not check in with your confirmed voucher as it was informed that they are not honouring your bookings and have no arrangements with clear trip. There was no alternate rooms available at Beena Residency. My family was stranded for about 4 hours .

        However with the help of local taxi guys they managed a room at Mookambika Palace at exorbitant rates.
        Till date we did not receive any call or mail from your end regarding the non-availability of the bookings for which the entire amount was paid by me.

        This is cheating and I request you to look into the matter urgently and revert including refund of the full amount. I need a detailed report else I will be constrained to initiate legal course of action through my Counsel for the loss and hardship suffered to my family

        This was the mail sent to the support team of Clear Trip on Monday. Subsequently I had spoken to the customer care executive who was of the opinion that I should have taken the alternate arrangements made by the hotel officials. It may be noted that I had travelled all the way from thiruvananthapuram and reached Mookambika around 7pm, Beena Residency officials had categorically stated that they have no arrangements with Clear Trip and they will not honour any bookings from clear trip. Since my daughter was there the hotel officials suggested a near by lodge which was untidy and the not fit for a family to stay. the rates were so cheap as low below Rs 1000 where as I had paid Rs 2250 with clear trip. The customer care executive was of the opinion that I should have taken the alternate arrangements made as well inform the clear trip then I am not satisfied with the alternate lodge. It may be noted that the time has gone past 9 pm and two ladies are with me in a new place. With much hardship and request from our end the local guys had arranged an good accommodation at Hotel Mookambika Palace. The said hotel also informed that they have no arrangements with clear trip even though their site states so. The customer executive had gone to the extend that I was wrong on the entire issue and there is no fault with clear trip as the software of the company had shown that there is vacant rooms in the hotel. I was held over the phone for 30 minutes and regarding the refund issue they need to examine the entire matter and will communicate whether to refund the money or not. It is not understood that Clear Trip had accepted the fact that they were unable to provide accommodation in the hotel choosen by me and fully paid and making me run for the refund. The customer care executive who spoke to me was dictating terms to me .

        So whether I receive the refund or not is an issue which will dealt severely to the extent possible by me I advise all travellers to avoid Clear Trip gateway for bookings of any kind.

          No response on refund of amount from Cleartrip as well as Air India airlines.
          On Jan. 07, 2019 night I booked a ticket from Pune to Delhi (March 15, 2019) and return (March 16, 2019). The money has been deducted from my account but the ticket was not yet issued. Kindly issue the ticket or refund the whole amount.

          george v. : nobody has a duty to reply and to pay to anonymous user, who is unable to submit the correct complaint or unabpble to attached the payment document / invoice / receipt.
          The complaint has to be submitted once, not 10 times
          The service provider has 15 days for refund following the receipt of the correct complaint.
          Failure to refund following the primise give rase to passenger to rais the dispute in the the court or to submit the complaint to the Indian customers bord, if in India.

            I was not able to use my wallet cash for making new booking
            And it was not expire also,
            When i contact the team the response was very slow.
            I must have call around 20 time on 12 jan but no response
            Finally spoke to one of there supervisor (Harshil) but he also didnt solve the problem'and today me we will solve the issue and u will get call back at 7 pm on 12 jan 19.
            But still tilll today i have not receive any call from the team
            .
            When i call him today the call center people first told me he is not available then told not in shift then told me he is on leave today
            .
            So the problem is still there and there

                Pure Cheaters and Not ready to help customers who are abroad to clear wallet amount. SICK and TIRED of making international calls to redeem my wallet money.
                I have booked a flight ticket from banglore to Mumbai on 7/1/2019 using my SBI debit card.. money (₹4495) is deducted from my card but I haven’t received any mail regarding trip id.. I don’t have an account in Cleartrip.. what am I supposed to do ? How can I get my money back?

                  For over one month i am trying to get information about refund for my trip id:[protected] from cleartrip. After many email exchange the cleartip just doesn't want to provide me the information of the number of bank account/credit card number on which they refunded the money on 6th of november 2018. They are saying that it was an onus transaction and could not see where the money was send. How could that be? I checked in my bank in slovenia and money never came to my slovenian bank account. The cleartrip is just insisting that the money was refunded but refuses to provide any written proof and details on what bank account they have send it. I insist they provide me with clear answer of exact date and amount of refund and most importantly the credit card number/account on which they have send the money. This should be written in this form (123456*1234). Numbers from the middle should be hidden.

                  Only with written proof of the transaction i can really believe the money was send to me. The emails saying that they have refunded the amount but can not specify the details are just unacceptable.

                  There is no prove that anonymous passenger has e-ticket and holds any receipt.

                  The legal complaint has to demonstrate at minimums:
                  - the full name of the passenger / address / e-mail /
                  - the addressee - the particulars of the entity, who had not provided the service,
                  - explanation which exact event had happned with notification of place and date,
                  - explanation of the fault of the service provider, if possible,
                  or
                  - the resaon of the refund
                  - passenger request, which has to be expressed clearly in 1-2 sentances and in figures.

                  Nobody has a duty to look into / to reply on purely anonymous complaints, which do not produce the above .

                    We had booked hotel pithla haveli (Room charges for 2 nights rs 4388) in jaisalmer on 28th of october 2018 for 29th & 30 th december 2018. We called the hotel on 29th morning to reconfirm the booking and tell them about our late check in. The hotel said there was no booking from cleartrip. We contacted cleartrip and they admitted to a goo[censored]p, apologised and assured that they will find us another hotel even if that meant an upgrade. It being a weekend during peak holiday season we were stressed. Communication with cleartrip over phone continued for almost 2 hours and they went on saying ‘we are trying’. But they couldn’t get us booked to another hotel and we were forced to find another hotel (Bhagwati palace) with higher room charge (Rs 6757 for 2 nights). Cleartrip should reimburse us for the additional amount of rs 2369 along with a written apology for the harassment.

                      I booked a round trip flight ticket on Jan. 7, 2019 from Pune to New Delhi ( March 15, 2019) and return (March 16, 2019). The fare Rs. 7739 has been promptly deducted from my account. But the ticket was not issued yet. This is really frustrating. I contacted your customer care centre and was told that the refund will be made within 24 hours. I am still waiting for it. Kindly respond.

                        I had booked flight ticket from bangloru to patna, date of 24-02-19, and refund ticket on 1/3/19 from patna to bangloru but i have not received ticket details, but payment was debited from my account, and credit to clear trip ac rs.7994/- yesterday 8.11 pm by andhra ball credit card. If flight ticket will be confirmed, no issue, other wise please refund my amount immediately.

                          I paid through hdfc online banking, although my ticket is not booked why my money got deducted kindly refund my money as early as possible n plz contact me on my numb

                          The legal complaint has to demonstrate:
                          - the full name of the claimant / address / e-mail /
                          - the addressee - the particulars of the entity, who had not provided the promissed service according
                          - explanation which event had happned with place / date
                          - your request, which has to be expressed clearly in 1-2 sentances
                          - you have own the prove of loss and fault of the service provider

                          The recipient of the claim must accept the claim and to issue the decsion on satisfacton or refusal to satisfy the claim within 15 days.
                          It is usless to request the same from the addressee more than 2 times.

                          If your complaint is not satisfied in 15 days (or your short following 2nd attepmt) is not satisfied, you are entitled to hire a lawyer / or a legal professional for fees (from 8000 for such type of cases)
                          in order to bring the civil case to the local court.

                                  Sir/madam,
                                  Yesterday on dated 06/01/19 i was booked an air ticket by air india flight from jammu to srinagar for dated 08/01/19 with amount of rs. 4295/- the same amount has been deducted from my sbi visa card, but yet i didn't get ticket for above mentioned destination.
                                  Therefore i request you to kindly return my total amount of rs.4295/- to my sbi account please.

                                    Yesterday (06/01/19) i have tried to book an air ticket by air india flight from jammu to srinagar for dated 08/01/2019. The amount of rs. 4295 has been deducted from my sbi visa card but i didn't get any ticket for above mentioned destination.

                                    It is impossible to check such complaint objectively as the author had not shown:
                                    - the receipt, which shows particulars of the exact transaction;
                                    - e-mail, notification which had been received from the service provider - an operator of cleartrip site to your e-mail box .
                                    So, no document confirming deducted amount from the unknown account, is attached here.

                                    The author is advised to address the complaint with exact request
                                    with the reference on the exact transaction for refund exprssed in figures either
                                    - to the bank - the card issuer
                                    or/and
                                    - to the service provider - operator of cleartrip site.
                                    To state a resaon: no prove of any reservation / service / receipt had receved by bank / by service provider
                                    by user (author).
                                    The duty of the bank and /or of service provider is to issue the decision on refund within 15 days follwoing your complaint, if in India, if the stated facts are correct and a legal complaint is submitted correctly.

                                    In 15-21 days, if no refund received, the only solution is to start a civil case in a local court only.
                                    You need to save as a prove:
                                    - the receipts, which you own from service provider / bank, which prove the deduction from your account;
                                    - any decision / reply which you had received by email to your name, which related to the luck of the services
                                    till the final refund received

                                    The expected expences for legal civil matter can be:
                                    - government fees [ from 200 or from 2000 ruppes ] + own efforts,
                                    - legal fees for assistance of a lawyer or of legal professional start from !~6000 rupees + own efforts
                                    The fair court shall award all reasonable losses, moral compensation, paid fees by final judgement.

                                      I have flights booked via cleartrip. The flight schedules is changed a few times, my trip id is [protected]... Amritsar to chennai
                                      [protected].. Pndicherry to delhi
                                      Would you kindly provide me with all the new flights and times. I have hotels and transport booked andd now i must change that again. Hotels already paid. I cannot change all that agai.

                                        I had done booking through clear trip for my cousin mr. Nibu mathew philip on 1st jan 2019 from abu dhabi to kochi (Air india express, travel date:14/02/2019). Amount deducted from my credit card twice and so far not received any confirmation on ticket and reimbursement of duplicate payment. Contacted customer care representative various times and also send emails as well but customer care executives are giving faulty promises and no reply for emails so far. Clear trip need to provide confirmation/ clarification on this and i need reimbursement of amount deducted from my credit card.

                                        Amount deducted aed 506 (Twice)
                                        Passenger name: nibu mathew philip
                                        Abu dhabi - kochi (One-way) on 14th feb, 2019, air india express
                                        Payment authorization code from bank : 105788 and 730810, citi bank
