I tried booking an air ticket on 29th dec 2018 for travel date 30th dec 2018

From delhi - dubai... Total transaction was complete, even the money (14900) was deducted from my sbi account and the ticket was not booked.

I emailed also to the support email id but no reply, its already 6 days but still i have not received my money back.. Below is the transaction details.

Thank you for using your sbi debit card 519xx6993 for a purchase worth rs14900.0 on pos payust[protected] at www.cleartrip.com txn#[protected].

I really have suffered a lot due to this.

I request the concerned to do the needful asap to refund my money

It is impossible to reply on clearly unidentified question without the e-ticket.
You need to contact the air carrier or the service provider, where you had paid for the ticket.

To the author:

It is impossible to check the complaint objectively as the author had not shown:
- the full name / address of the author
- the bank receipt, which shows particulars of the transaction;
- any email, which had been received from the service provider - operator of yatra site;
- any reservation, which you had tried to make at yatra site.
So, no any document confirming deducted from te account, is seen.

The author is advised to address the complaint for refund either
- to SBI bank - the card issuer
or
- to the service provider - operator of yatra site.

The complaint shall express the exact request, not in general words like "have a look at my text ..."
with the reference on the exact transaction with date/teme .
Resaon: no prove of any reservation confirmation / service confirmation / receipt
had been received by the user.
The duty of the bank or of service provider, who receved the complaint,
is to issue the decision on refund within 15 days and to refund within 15 days
follwoing your complaint, if in India.

In 15-21 days, if no refund is received, the next solution is to start a civil case in a local court only.
You need to save as prove:
- the receipts, which you own from service provider / bank, which prove the deduction from your account;
- you own complaint, stating your name and nature of the complaint, at the site of the service provider
- any decision / reply which you had received by email to your name, which related to the luck of the services
till final refund or within 6 moths at least.

If no refund receved within 15 days following the complaint, the only solution is to bring the civil case to the local court.

The expected expences for civil matter can be as follwows:
- government fees [ from 200 or from 2000 ruppes ] + own efforts, depending upon the court,
- legal fees for assistance of a lawyer or of legal professional [ from !~6000 rupees] + own efforts (to attend the court, the post office, to collect documents, to reply to the court questions etc)

The fair court shall award all reasonable losses, moral compensation, paid fees by judgement.

You can bring the case, if nany, in UAE also.
The legal expences can be from AED 260 for such tpe of case.
The fair UAE court shall award all reasonable losses, moral compensation, paid fees by judgement.

    I booked two tickets trough cleratrip and due to cancellation of flight, on 14th dec-2018 i cancelled the tickets. From that day to till now cleartrip making fun of me and giving me fake assurance that they have already refunded the amount on 23rd and 24th dec 2018 but till now no refund and with this today morning they are telling me they need my account details to prepare a cheque to refund the amount. Initially they said they refunded the amount now they are telling need to refund. Really don't know what is happening.

      I have booked goair flight on today from delhi to kannur for 4th january through online flight booking and i have done card payment. I have received message that 11814rs debited from my hdfc account.
      But i didn't get any ticket i'd or any mail from cleartrip. This is the first experience from clear trip, i never thought that this will cheat me
      I need to know explanation regarding my loss of money, and it has to be fully refund.

      I have done payment of 11814Rs but didint get any ticket ID. Please refund my full amount of my ticket an urgent basis

      it is impossible to check such type of the complaint as the text has no attachment:-
      - full name of one of the service provider,

      a) the legal name of the bank

      b) the oerator of the site, where card had been debitted.

      c) order number

      d) copy of paymenrt details issued by the bank;

      e) full name of the complainant;

      f) what exactly is requested by the claimant in 1 sentance.

      Such type of claims can be adressed directly to the bank (card issuer) or
      to the operator of the site, where the passenger had purchaced the e-ticket.
      The duty of the recepient of the complaint, if the complaint is legally binding to, is to refund within 15 days.
      In 15 days, if no refund or no satisfied decsion, all disputes shall be resolved via the local court only.

      Note, it is usless to request the same subject matter more than 2 times from the same service provider.
      All disputes in 15 days following the correct complaint receipt are subject of the examination by Indian court.
      The expected expences for legal assitance can be:
      -- government fees [100-2500 ruppes ],
      - legal fees for assistance of a lawyer or a legal professional [ from 4000 rupees]

      I am not associated with the above service providers (operator of the site cleartrip).

        I have booked a hotel via cleartrip, during checkin hotel reception informed me that their hotel have no tie up cleartrip. I immediately informed this to cleartrip customer care and they informed me to make payment and do the checkin, they will pay me back, they also asked me to send them the copy of hotel payment bill, i have mailed the same to them, then they asked me for 48 hrs for enquiry, i agreed, after 3 days i contacted them, again they asked me to wait for 48 hrs, now i am behind cleartrip for last 2 weeks, they are disconnecting my calls and not responding to my mails,

          I purchased round ticket for air india express from doha to kozhikode for 02/12/18 return 04/12/18 on line through clear trip on 26/nov/2018. Then i cancelled one way ticket from doha to kozhikode from air india express office doha on 29/nov/2018. They said will get the refund within 7-14 working days. I called air india express office after three weeks they said you have to contact clear trip. When i went there to cancel, they did not tell me that. Now only they said send an e-mail to clear trip. Then i sent e-mail to clear trip, from where i received the ticket by e-mail. After one week also no reply from their. Today again i sent a remainder and i am waiting. For booking if we try they will send 100 emails one by one. This is cancellation so they ate not responding.

            This is regarding trip id [protected]. I have booked for 3 rooms (9people) for 1 night in rajhamundry through clear trip for the amount 3150. Surprisingly i was denied a room saying that they don't have a tie up with clear trip. As it was late night i didn't have an option but to pay from my own pocket which is around 2.5k. It is shameful to hear that i am getting refund of only 2.5k which i have paid offline not the amount which i have paid through cleartrip. This is ridiculous, despite causing mental agony to me you are just looking to save some rs600. Hope you guys have some empathy on customers rather than looking to save penny's to your company

              Dear sir,
              Plz check trip id[protected]. I was bokking for hotel the executive house in bangok for inr 9923 from hsbc bank.. But just after payment debit from my account got booking denial message from clear trip. When i enquired then they said payment got stucked in gateway and will be credited back within 3 to 4 days. Even after 5 days, when amount not credited, i enquired bank then they said the amount has been submitted to clear trip account clearly and bank statement also confirms this. Hence it is my request to return the said amount into my account or even as in form of cleartrip wallet balance for. Furthur usage.

              Trip id i submitted in above Complaint is wrongly entered but issue was same and clear trip customer care swatu, manish and rupali..one of their supevisor talked to financial department and solve the issue.clear trip keep the goodwork

                I booked a ticket on 19th nov late evening for my friend on cleartrip i'd [protected] delhi to shj in air arabia. Flight timings was 2.50 am on 20th november. I have received this trip i'd number on my mobile but not received confirmation or ticket.
                We reached airport and than on 11.50 pm i called again to check tickets i told customer care executive that i have not received any mail or details on given mail id but money has already been deducted. He said that transaction got failed so booking was not confirmed i asked why i was not informed now i am in airport and you telling me it's not confirmed. He asked me to book another flight as my friend need to go on urgent basis and said your money was not received by us for this i'd contact your bank. I had no option so i booked another flight trip i'd [protected] for the same person.
                After that i called my bank icici and registered about dispute i called customer care again on 20 the in regarding my money rs 11860 against trip i'd [protected] they said i will get it back within 16 days.
                Now on 27th december i received call from my bank that dispute has been declined by the merchant so i called cleartrip again now the another story come up they said the booking was confirmed and they sent all the tickets on time so it was my mistake they will not refund my money.
                I request that all the phone calls are recorded so check that.
                I can show my mail box and my phone details that i have not received any confirmation from cleartrip or air arabia that till now
                This is a clear case of cheating

                To the author:

                Your complaint is unclear as the author has not produced each piece of the document in the complaint:
                - passenger full name
                - date and place of purchace
                - issued - e-ticket in full with conditions
                or
                - PNR number wit receipt
                - the agent''s ful name, if any.
                So, such anonymous complaint has no grounds and has no reasons.

                You can have 3 options for refund:
                1. to request a refund from your bank due to lack of service / receipt
                2. to request the compensation from service provider, who deducted unknown amount from your card.
                at their sites.
                3. If in 15-21 days you have not receved the refund or receved the negative reply,
                you can start a civil case in local court only.

                Note, it is useless to request the same amount from the same service provider / or from bank more than 2 times.

                The legal expences can be from !~8000 rupees, if in India, + own efforts
                The court must award all losses, moral compensation and paid fees.

                  I, Anish Banerjee, have been booked my flight ticket from Dammam to Kolkata and return through cleartrip. My transaction ID is[protected]. During booking of ticket, only one option was available for multiple carrier of Srilankan airline & Etihad airlinethe, which have 1.00 hour layover time in Bahrain. I was select that only option.
                  But after completing payment, the itinerary was completely changed. The layover time in Bahrain is increased from 1.00 hour to 19.30 hours. Flight no., timing & date everything has been changed from Bahrain to Dammam. Now I am unable to reach at Dammam on 9th Feb and I am forced to take a physical challenge for travelling more than 35 hours continuously (from home to home).

                  I have sent several mail to cleartrip and they told that I have select that 19.30 hours layover option during booking. Which is absolutely surprising, because in cleartrip site only one option is available for multiple carrier of Srilankan airline & Etihad airline. Which shows total 11.10 hour travel from Kolkata to Dammam.

                  Without any intimation, changing ticket completely unethical and it is nothing but a mental as well as physical torture. It is nothing to force for paying some additional amount for changing the ticket.

                  Thus, kindly look into the matter very seriously and arrange my ticket as per my selection, i.e. 1.00 hour layover in Bahrain.

                    With reference to cleartrip ticket trip id:[protected], from hyderabad to bali denpasar air asia air ticket wed, 19 dec 2018 and return wed, 26 dec 2018. While booking the ticket throughout clear trip portal was showing the check-in baggage 35kgs per person and 7kgs for hand baggage per person. After issuing ticket by air asia, they have taken out the check-in baggage which caused us to pay extra 10k for check-in baggage and last min fight with air asia while check in for flight. Need to raise a complaint against cleartrip for miss-leading information on cleartrip ticket booking portal and request to refund the check-in charges from clear trip which caused due to the issue on the cleartrip portal.
                    ClearTrip customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                    It is impossible to check such complaint objectively:
                    - no place/time of the events
                    - what was the fault of air carrier?
                    - what was the falt of the service provider in 1 sentance?
                    - no e-ticket / boarding pass / bag tag are attached.

                    Such complaint has no grounds and can not be veryfied by anyone.

                    All other disputes are via local court only within 1 years following the flight.
                    You expences can be for the civil case:-
                    - government fees from 2000 rupees, if in India
                    - professional legal services for the civil case start and possible representation in the court, min !~2000, till ~15000 rupees + own efforts

                      Hi,
                      I have made unsuccessful booking on clear trip for safari park Thailand on 18-Dec-2018, 8:46pm IST, my booking mobile number [protected].
                      Amount of 4976 is deducted from my account but since payment gateway failed booking was not completed, I did not received any trip I’d for the same.
                      I did contact customer care and they suggested amount will be refunded by 7 days,

                      it has been more than 7 days now and there has been no refund, there is no way I can contact Cleartrip without trip Id.

                      Request Cleartrip to pls check the matter and initiate refund soonest.

                        Chennai - kuala lumpur return (Trip id: [protected]) failure payment reservation

                        I made two transaction with clear trip on[protected] for rs. 60, 050 and rs. 70, 214 from my icici bank account. Both the transactions has been rejected and the same said amount was debited from my account. On[protected] the first amount of rs.60, 050 has been returned to my account. But still now the second payment of rs.70, 214 has not credited back to my account.

                          I have booked 3 tickets out of which the name of one passenger was incorrect in airlines system, though the name is correct in ticket given to me. I am following up from more than a month now but getting pathetic response. It is my genuine suggestion never ever ever book any tickets from cleartrip. I would rather say it is incapable, irresponsible, and dumbest service out there.

                            On 13/11/2018 i booked two flight tickets from vijayawada to trivendrum with 12446 ruppes charge and also booked return tickets on 15/11/2018 from trivendrum to vijayawada with 15194 rupees from bank account of sbi, bank account number [protected], account holder name - g. Narasimha rao, ifsc code - sbin 0005151 and the booked tickets were cancelled but i didn't get any refunding to my account please refund my money thank you

                              I have been charged for one single booking twice, first I booked my ticket from Cleartrip, later on the airport during the travel i have been humiliated by AIR INDIA staff stating my ticket is not valid due to NO SHOW, The booking AIR INDIA staff has refereed as NO SHOW was cancelled by me for which i have the cancellation confirmation as well.

                              When i contacted Cleartrip and asked them why i have to pay double i have been informed that i was intimated for the cancellation, where the email clearly stated the cancellation of To ticket not return ticket.

                              Its a clear case of wrong communication and compliance by AIR INDIA and Clear trip, i become the victim of there fault as-

                              I have voluntarily cancelled my To ticket dated 15th November 2018.
                              No communication by AIR INDIA or cleartrip regarding the entire trip cancellation.

                                  I made this booking online cleartrip.com website. I booked a hotel in vijayawada dt. On 14/12/18. The transaction id.[protected]. When was making the payment it shows rs.2815/- after i made the payment they charged rs.3713. This amount is more than the hotel tariff and since i have been staying in this hotel for few days of time i used to book rooms in the same hotel for lesser of the above amount at other websites like make my trip, trivago, tripadvisor, yatra or booking.com. Tried to contact cleartrip customer care and they are denying the resolution.

                                    On 20-dec-2018 i tried to book round trip from dammam (Ksa) - bangalore - dammam using cleartrip. They have deducted the money 39, 529 inr. And after a while i got a message in the cleartrip app saying my payment failed.
                                    I connected to customer care and informed in detail, they apologized for the issue and assured money will be refunded in 5-7 days, meany while requested me to book another ticket.
                                    However, i was badly in need to go, so i tried booking it again on 21-dec-2018. 41, 092 inr deducted and i got invalid payment, the same issue repeated.

                                    I have all the details, trip id, ref no. For my online payment for both the transactions. Now i request to get my money back in time and no more of harassment. Its my hard earned money. Please stop harassing people like this.

                                    Followed up with helpline no. They sent me a mail confirmation of failed transactions and mentioned they will refund to bank account in 4 working days. After couple of days they deposited the exact amount deducted from me for tickets. I'm revealed from the stress of loosing 80000 INR. I DO NOT RECOMMEND CLEAR TRIP.

                                      I didn't get refund money on my account.
                                      I did cancel the trip which i did pay 4448, 00 rs, they wrote that i can get 928, 00rs back, but nothing happend
                                      On cleartrip is written refunded, but money (928, 00rs) didn't come.
                                      Two times i report this through their web service (Chetana), i got answer that somebody will contact me in 48 hours, but nothing happened.
                                      ClearTrip customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

                                        I and My Husband (Dr P B N Gopal, Head of the dept, Continental Hospitals, Gachibowli, Hyderabad were to travel back from Rajahmundry by Spicejet SG 1602 (Trip ID [protected] Cleartrip.com)
                                        But I have received a message from Spicejet on the 29th Nov 2018 citing the cancellation of their flight SG1602. I have actually been waiting to hear the same from "cleartrip" since then. Curious to know what happened almost 21 days later, I logged in to the cleartip website and it said, if the airlines have cancelled, I have to go ahead and cancel on the portal (strange, they facilitate booking from us and take charges, but when the airlines cancel, they don’t facilitate and get back to us--a one way business of sorts!!)
                                        Anyways, I cancelled and it said I will know the refund amount after they hear from the airlines

                                        And within moments I get a refund of Rs 66/--{{Booking Gross Amount was (+)Rs. 4, 990.00}}
                                        It is the airline which cancelled the flight, not us!
                                        Why should our whole money be not refunded ?
