We had booked through clear trip.com a holiday goa to cochin and return.

Our return flight air india cochin-bangalore - goa was on 27th november. The flight was at 1.40 pm. We arrived the airport at 10.40 to be informed by a message that the flight would be delayed and would depart at 3.40 pm. Subsequently, when i went to check on the same i overheard them saying they were cancelling the flight as the flight had only 11 passengers but we were told the standard statement 'for technical reasons'.
Subsequently we were put on a jet airways flight 1.50pm but were re routed to mumbai through jet airways. The flight landed at 3.55 pm at the international airport and air india refused to forward the baggage directly and insisted that we pick our baggage in mumbai and check in at air india mumbai.
Meanwhile the mumbai goa flight was at 4.50 pm. Our baggage from jet airways came only at 4.25 pm and my husband &myself both senior citizens were running with suitcases onto several floors to check in at the air india counter. I had asked for help in mumbai (From cochin) as i knew there situation would be chaotic but no one came. They gave me a number and said that person would help us out. But that number was of the help desk and he said he couldn't leave his desk.
After picking our baggage and climbing yet another 3 floors we arrived at the air india check in counter. I went directly to the ai manager as we had crossed the check in time but she was making and receiving calls from one phone to the other until i asked to stop phoning and listen to me. Fortunately, some officers around helped us and even sent someone to accompany us to the aircraft. We entered the aircraft at 4.40 pm for a flight leaving at 4.50 pm.
Besides being senior citizens my husband is also a heart patient..

    I booked a flight via cleartrip which is a return flight which goes through toronto and requires a transit visa.
    This ticket is deliberately mare non-refundable and cheap so that customers fall in the trap of purchasing a cheap ticket and miss the flight.
    The canadian vac in new york is horrible and a huge number of people do not get a transit visa... All thanks to the horrible and worst management of canadian vac.
    The airline air canada then wouldn't allow people to pass through canada as they don't have a transit visa.
    And cleartrip has a policy that if you miss the onboard flight, your return flight will get automatically cancelled. What kind of a joke is this?
    There are several people who miss an onboard flight and want to take the return flight.
    A ticket deliberately made non refundable which cannot be converted into a refundable ticket, which requires a transit visa via canada and return flight gets automatically cancelled if missed the onboard flights clearly shows that they have a collaboration with air canada airlines to dupe customers of their money.
    I called the centre several times for a refund but they are reluctant to do anything about it and blame the customer. I won't stol at this and will complain to a higher authority for my refund.

    In general, the agent's duty is to display the total fare and each component of fare prior to purchase and after the e-tciket is issued.
    No piece of the document is produced in the complaint.
    it is impossible to discuss anything without each piece of document.

      My money got deducted but I never got flight details and when I called for refund they said I will receive in 3-4 days .. it’s been 3 weeks now I have not got any refunds.
      I booked Nagpur to Mumbai Airindia Flight at 23rd November 8.45 pm. They charged me 5700 Rs .I have been calling on their customer support helpline but that is not evening working. They are asking me TripID which I never received from them because my tickets bet got booked. This is a big fraud and scam. I’m going to take serious action against cleartrip for this fraud. Even I can go to consumer court and file a legal complaint against them.

            My booking id is (Ghqb2n). I booked return flight ticket from delhi to bangalore (7-13th dec) and after all cancellations and deduction charges. I was supposed to get 666 as refund as previously confirmed by one of their (Cleartrip) agents. I was also told that i will get the same refund which airlines has initiated. After numerious conversations with cleartrip team i was finally told by ms. Pragiya (Floor supervisor) that i won't get any refund because i applied the coupon code. As informed by indigo airlines that all the charges including coupon has been initiated to cleartrip. And also there was delay of cancellation from cleartrip despite cancelling the ticket previously on indigo website. I was also told that this trip is non refundable but i have the screenshot where it was mentioned that this is a refundable. If incase that is required i can share that too in my next post.

              On date 04.12.2018, i had done a flight booking from bhubanrswar to delhi and back. On the number[protected]. Money deducted from my acount bt booking failed. I dont get my refund yet. I called costemer care but they put me in hold for long time. So kindly refund my money that i can book another ticket. Please refund as soon as possible. Its a request

                Let me start with the summary for the consumers who are reading this; i can only suggest booking your flights directly on airlines' website is the way forward.

                Apparently in my case, i booked a domestic flight and even selected a meal on one of my flights. Only to find out that cleartrip had charged me but the airline did not get the meal instructions from cleartrip.in fact to make it more trackable, after completing the booking procedure on cleartrip's website, i noticed the meal is not specified anywhere on the e-ticket meanwhile i know i had selected that option and i even remember the amount. So i chatted with cleartrip support and they confirmed over the chat that my meal is selected and it on the system. I even pointed it out that its not mentioned on my e-ticket and i was assured not to worry as its there on the system.

                Now comes the day of travel, i was told by the air hostess that i have not paid upfront for any meal. So now going back to the support person of cleartrip on chat, im told that i didn't pay for the meal and that support person who had confirmed initially on 1st chat, made a mistake by confirming multiple times that i had selected a meal. So that leaves me with one question - i know that i paid, and the support person confirmed i paid and it's on their system. So now when it's time for a refund im told i am a liar. Cleartrip can go and stuff themselves! That was the last booking done on their website. No more cleartrip, makemytrip [censored] websites!

                  I had gift voucher code to redeem by 21-nov and since 21-Nov I tried to book tickets through cleatrip.com but unable to redeem the coupon worth 2000 due to some technical issue.
                  I have contacted customer care executive and even their executive fail to find out solution and I end up with loosing my coupon and then Customer care executive asked me to send the screenshot of Error message and I did but there is no response after that.

                  Really disappointed for such unprofessional behavior of cleartrip.com

                  Kindly take an action.

                    Cleartrip.com is a fraud and they are in business to rip of[censored]nsuspecting individuals. Their set looks genuine and they booked a flight for me, they charged non-refundable service fee and convenience fee and charged me in all 20183 rupees. Then few hours later, for no reason, cancelled my booking and did not refund all the money either. I booked a ticket in good faith and paid the money. But few hours after and for no reason explained, ticket was cancelled few hours before the flight time. Claertrip said they will refund 70% of the total charged.

                      My trip i'd [protected] coimbatore to chennai one way flight scheduled on 21.10.18 cancelled by alliance air. Ticket was booked through clear trip and cancelled also well in time ie 19.10.18 the date of intimation about cancellation. Clear trip has not refunded the amount of rs 4130.00 though i am getting different commitments from them. This is in spite of my various reminders by mails and telephonic calls. Request for immediate refund and confirmation without lapse of anymore time. Customer care was not supportive and clueless all through. Please remember that the cancellation was not because of my decision but because of the flight cancellation by the service provider, alliance air.

                        I'm writing here because i could not find any other way to get in touch with customer support regarding my complaint. On dec 1, 2018, i booked three tickets on the cleartrip website using my account, as per the following schedule:

                        - delhi udaipur - jan 8, 2019 (6e-2746)
                        - jaipur kochi - jan 13, 2019 (6e-657)
                        - kochi delhi - jan 18, 2019 (9w-911)

                        I was charged a total of $155.35 for this transaction, but the transaction did not go through. I tried to get in touch with customer support, but without a trip id, i couldn't reach anyone. I tried looking for an alternate email id online, but couldn't find anything. I also attempted to put a query on the website but received no response.

                        I was supposed to make this booking with a group of 8 other people, and they didn't end up making this booking because of this hiccup. Kindly help get this resolved at the earliest!

                          I have booked flights from goa to varanasi for two persons. The airline indigo informed me via sms that flights have changed. I have sent several emails to cleartrip to clarify, they are not answering emails. Furthermore, i cannot call them, because you have to provide a trip id to get your phone call processed but they have invalidated my trip id. There is no communication possible with cleartrip. I have sent several emails asking for a call back, they are not calling back.

                          I am making progress in resolving this issue without cleartrip. I have arranged for confirmations of the changed flights with Indigo. They have also confirmed the flights. I'll try a rebooking with jetairways to get on an earlier flight. This will probably lead to additonal costs but currently it appears that we can travel to Varanassi. Which would be appreciated since we paid a lot of money.

                          I managed to rebook with Jetairways which involved an extra payment of approx 10.000 INR. Against the background of my initiatives I was able to clarify my issues with cleartrip. Surprisingly my trip id was valid
                          today and I could talk to a cleartrip agent who provided the booking number of the jetairways flights enabling
                          me to rebook with jetairways. I leave judgements to the reader.

                              Last week i have booked a ticket via clear trip from sharjah to kochi on air india express flight in my name rejin sukumaran and passport number and the ticket got issued with name of my wife she was the account holder and i was not able to travel, i have booked tickets on emergency basis and i denied my travel and i took new ticket from airports for aed:2000 dhs and i wrote many times for cleartrip and i didn’t get any response and i am going to register legal complaint against them.

                                I have booked a flight from goa to varanassi 26dec leave, 30th dec return via cleartrip. Two airlines are involved jetairways and indigo. Recently indigo send a notice that the flight has changed. I talked to cleartrip to clarify the situation. They told me to call me back but i did not receive any call. Furthermore i cannot dial in because the cleartrip trip id seems to be no longer valid and you need to specify it when you try to call in. Cleartrip is ot answering many emails i have sent. I have paid 500 eur and i am requesting cleartrip to clarify the situation.

                                The complaint looks fair and understood clearly.

                                The passenger is entitled to get the full refund (usually more than paid ammount depending upon the origin/destination, place of sale) for the paid air trip upon a simple sumission towards the sevice provider of the e-ticket
                                or
                                to request to provide the other, more convenient dates and time of the trip for the account (money) of the service provider or of the air carrier,
                                in case one of the air carriers, which is stated in e- ticket, has changed their schadule (canceeled previosly agreed flight).
                                Such reasobale request of the passenger can be done once only prior to the further esclation of the dispute to the official legal body.

                                  I had booked hotel online on 10th october 2018 in shirdi maharashtra. But on arrival at hotel suraj park, manager and owner both denied to provide me the accomodation saying that cleartrip has no agreement with this hotel. I called on cleartrip helpline number [protected]. Someone named like snehal replied me that my booking will be cancelled on my request and my amount will be refunded in full within 3-4 working days. I bothered for 4-5 hours searching for a hotel at that time. After then no action was taken regarding refund. They forgot this matter.

                                  Again i called on 25/11/2018 at 14.07 time. One lady took 14 minutes 50 seconds for checking the issue. She then told me that i will get my refund by 29/11/2018 finally.

                                  Still on today 01/12/2018 i didn't get the refund neither i got any call from cleartrip.

                                  Now i am planning to take this matter in consumer forum. Hope they will get some shame.

                                    I had booked a hotel sagar kinara in malvan for nov 16 to 18th. But when i reached there the hotel was closed from past 3 yrs. I was not able to book another hotel and had to travel back with my family to mumbai. And was not even helped to book some other hotel. The worst experience ever anyone can have by spoiling the holidays with the family. I lost my time any money for travelling from mumbai to malvan and back to mumbai. I need compensation for the inconvenience caused to me. And the call centre people said i can't help you as the hotel people had not informed them, but the hotel is closed from last 3 yrs then how can they take the online booking for the hotel. And it's their responsibility to check why should i suffer for the same. I have spoiled my vacation due to the cheating done by the clear trip company. They have cheated me by taking the booking of the hotel which not there. I will also do a case against the company for cheating the customer. So that they will not cheat anyone else. They should have a policy to review the hotels which are listed. Hence i want a strict action taken so that no other person suffer the way i have suffered.

                                      I booked flight tickets through sky scamner r app through happy go easy payment mode on 24th november, 2018. I booked ticket from goa to delhi for 14th feb and return for 17th.. With name:prairna my money got deducted 7003, i got a message that money has been deducted from account but transaction was failed and there was no confirmed booking. It's been almost a week and no refund has been made.. I called them, they are just making excuses regarding the same.

                                        I booked 1 return air ticket using ClearTrip from kuwait to cochin. The Trip ID is[protected] and airline PNR - NJMW3X.

                                        The ticket clearly states that " This ticket is classified by ClearTrip as refundable".

                                        Even after speaking to the ClearTrip customer care people 2 times, I was not given any refund.

                                        This is clearly a harassment by this web site. I would never recommend anyone to use ClearTrip .
                                        I discussed with indigo airlines also, they said my refunded amount already sent to cleartrip.If i have to collect from any agency means pls sent me the details, bcoz one of my friend cancelled in wego on the same day i cancelled, he got a money directly from agent.

                                        Cleartrip is wrong in front of you, in case you produced the exact extracts of the ticket.
                                        The cheapest way to get the compensation from so called "cleartrip", you can
                                        - collect (save) the ticket and the conditions of the refund
                                        - to apply for the customers court in India by post (government fee from 100-200 rs).

                                        Your exapences can be[protected] rupees for the assitance of the legal professional. Plus your own simple efforts.
                                        The customers court obviously must reward (1) fare of the ticket (2) legal expences (3) moral injury.

                                        Today I booked a flight for 3rd Dec, 18 from Kolkata to Chennai with Spice Jet
                                        Base Fare is Rs.6799 and paid total fare of Rs.8553

                                        But for the same flight, SOTC base fare is Rs.5300 and Total fare is 6605

                                        Why is difference.

                                        I ask for refund of such difference amount from Cleartrip
                                        In general, the agent's duty is to display the total fare and each component of fare prior to purchase.
                                        it is impossible to discuss anything without each piece of document.
