I am a frequent traveller travelling every monthly and has been travelling since last 40 years
This time had an shocking experience with cleartrip ticket
Booked my ticket on 13th augustand trip id -[protected] mumbai-muscat-mumbai travelled on 26th august and return on 31st august

I am literally cheated for luggage alloances check in was 50 kg and return was zero kg
Written in small tiny alphabets where you cant even read neither imagine it.
You expect a gulf passenger not to return with any luggage while returningthis is your intention to cheat the passengeryou should have written in bold letters or even called to warn the passenger
You cheated me as at the last moment we cant do anything but to pay equivalent to full return ticket of the journey
The jet air lines charged me ro 92 as excess baggage as i had already paid rs 26382 rupees for the ticket
The total cost was more than india - london return ticket as i was dupped for total of rs 42482
Not only i have stopped buying from clear trip and has told all my friends to boycott it
I am going to put it in the face book unless i am returned of rial omani 92 charged by the jet airlines

    I've booked a trop from new delhi to kathmandu using the cleartrip website in may of this year (Trip id : [protected]). I had to ask a new passport because the validity of the one i had wasn't long enough. Yesterday, i asked cleartrip to update the information and they noticed that the information on my passport wasn't exactly the same as in my reservation (My second given name was missing). I was very surprised to hear that it was impossible to update my information and that i had to cancel my fligth and book another one (My flight leaves on saturday 27th of october).

    Here's the e-mail i got :

    "dear annick,

    ??? As per our telecom, while updating the passport details it has been observed that your few given names is missing from the booking and for that matter we checked with the airline and both the airline denied on changing the name and recommended to cancel the booking and rebook with the correct name as per passport.

    Further, if you are able book with us then we can waive off the convenience fee of rs. 599.00/- only airline cancellation penalty of rs. 2000/- and insurance amount of rs. Rs. 1, 662/- will be deducted and rest of the amount of rs. 13, 858/- you will receive.

    You can reach out to us on chat in case you do have any other questions.

    Thank you for choosing cleartrip for your travel needs.

    So i cancelled my flight and booked another one, and today i got this e-mail :

      I hav try to flight booking which hav fail but my amt rs.2571 hav debited to cleartrip. They didnot given any id but customer care no also just adking Id n cut off ph. I want to talk to representative for help. Thier webste is also saying wrong. Is this companu is fraud, becos i cant found any contact to complain abt this. So, plz do the necessary process or response to thos problem n be tranpirency wit customer.

        I had booked for a trip to austin & back starting on 25/12/2018 from bangalore & return on 12/01/2019 from austin.
        Trip id: [protected]
        In this trip my return trip from austin by ba 5691 was changed to ba 5226 pre-phoning the journey time by 2.5 hrs. Though my journey time increased by 2.5 hrs, i accepted the change.
        I have noticed the flight fare has been reduced by rs 629/-. Hence i request you to refund this amount to me.

        I booked flight tickets using cleartrip but didn't get any confirmation mail or trip id. However, money was deducted from my debit card. I can provide you transaction id. This is a urgent matter. Solve it as soon as possible.

          I lost my emails containing e-tickets with trip-id unfortunately. While calling at their toll free number ([protected]), it asks to enter trip-id for further assistance. Threre should be some option so people without trip id also can contact if needed.
          Also their is no official mail id to contact the company support team. I need to contact them for my tickets copy but i am not able to do the same.
          Please help.

            It was quite unsatisfying experience for me when i tried booking a ticket through cleartrip today. I was trying to book a flight 1st nov'18 and everything went fine until the payment was made.

            However once the payment was done (Via hdfc netbanking), i did not get any confirmation on screen or to my email, but it deducted the whole ticket fare from my bank account towards cleartrip.

            Now i have no idea whether the ticket is booked or not nor do i have any confirmation of success or failure transaction from cleartrip.

            All i have is the bank transaction reference paid out towards cleartrip while trying to book my ticket. Attached is the reference for the same.

            No refund, no status update, no confirmation id..

            This transaction was done on 09th Oct 2018 around 11:17AM. And the HDFC Bank message reads as " Thanks for paying Rs 12, 784.00 from A/c XXXX5395 to CCACleartripPrivateL via Netbanking. Have attached the bank transaction ID for reference

            The flight i was trying to book was from Riyadh, Saudi Arabia to Hyderbad, India for the date 1st Nov 2018, AirArabia(G9-155) scheduled for 16:40

            Please look into this matter asap.

            I am unable to contact ClearTrip as there was no Trip ID generated for this transaction. Kind look into this matter.

              I cancelled my hotel booking reservation with the aforementioned booking id on 7 october 2018 and opted for cleartrip wallet as it was mentioned on the website that it should be quick and not take more than 24 hrs. I really believed in it and gave it for wallet. However i still didn't get the refund after 36 hrs of time. I did mail them, called them and chat when i them. I just got the assurance and confirmation that money refund is processed and will be credited to wallet on priority and that was after 28 hrs. But not time crossed more than 38 hrs and still i didn't recieve my refund to my wallet. This is really disappointing experience and not acceptable for so called technology driven company as cleartrip.
              Real irresponsible act by the company.

              My flight has been cancelled by the airline and since it is in Cleatrip's website policy that if it happens, full refund will be given. This was since 17th of August and until now nothing has been done.

              Please I need to get back my money cleartrip!!!
              My trip id as given is[protected] when I call they say they do not have any such trip id.

                I have cancelled the above ticket (Cjb-auh - 06-aug) on 04-aug. But till now i haven't received refund for that ticket.

                I discussed with airlndia & cleartrip, before cancelling the ticket.. Airindia said rs.4000 per ticket & cleartrip said that rs. 75 will be cancellation charges... Ticket price per passenger is around rs. 10000 per passenger...

                If i call now, cleartrip said that the ticket refund processed with 0...

                Then i called air india, they said that, ticket is in open status and cleartrip has not requested for refund...

                If i ask for cancellation charges invoice or detailed breakup.. They are not ready to provide that...

                It's a series cheating.. You guys are doing... Will never ever refer or book thru your website again...

                  Hello sir,
                  I booked 5 tickets yesterday from cochin to doha on oct 16 tuesday, through clear trip but tickets are not received yet. My trip id is[protected] my email id [protected]@gmail.com. Money has already taken, i got message after booking in mail that is "your booking is confirmed we will send tickets with in 5 hours. Now more than 12 hour!! Am still not received.

                    While booking for the light and sound show at amber fort, jaipur for 19th october 2018 for 4 adults; the booking returned an error after the completion of the online payment. But inspite of the message reading the amount is not debited, an amount of rs.1060/- was debited to account. It is requested to refund the amount of rs.1060/- at the earliest.

                      Cleartrip guys have taken my 2.5 lac rupee and not sending me tickets. Till now it has been 20 hrs since the money has been deducted from my account and after me calling them in evening after waiting for 18 hrs, i just finished a call which went over 2hrs. I spoke to vikek (Agent), after my request of transfering the call to supervisor, which he did that after 1.5 hrs, i spoke with mr. Amit waghole (Floor supervisor) reporting to mr. Uttam singh shikhawat (Manager). They are blaming indigo airlines saying system is not responding. On mail the promised that ticket will be delivered in 5 hrs maximum. After my call which was after 18 hrs approximately, they sent in another email saying within 2 hrs tickets will be delivered. It's more than 2 hrs now as well.

                      The company is fake and these guys are doing fraud by taking our hard own money.

                        I had booked the flight for mumbai to bangalore on the wrong day, and i had called the cleartrip customer care advisor for help as i didn't know what to do. He misguided me into rescheduling my flight which cost 2800 rs and the actual flight charge was around 2000and hence i had to pay double. Instead of canceling and refunding the amount which i had booked.

                          I was told that it is a refundable ticket and when i booked and tried to cancel it said that it is not refundable
                          Clear trip has done a fraud and cheated and i am approaching the consumer court for this they promised that they would send me a mail saying the reason but i did not receive a mail you are the most dishonest company i have seen
                          You do not realise that cheating customers like me is going to be reason for your downfall

                            Dear Madam, Dear Sir,

                            I write you regarding to refund of 2 flight tickets from Delhi to Bagdogra. I definitively don't agree with the last email you have sent me and with the amount (0 Rp.) of refund.

                            First at all I have bought refundable flight ticket. Second I have paid for an insurance as well. There is clearly written in yours terms and conditions this: IF YOU MISS YOUR FLIGHT, YOU WILL HAVE TO CANCEL WITH CLEARTRIP TO GET YOUR REFUND. Please find the attached copy of this condition in this email. Anyway I followed the steps given by your company, called Cleartrip help line and cancelled my reservation. One of your employee has made the cancellation and he confirmed I will get 11, 386 Rp back to my bank account within 5-7 working days.

                            Later on I was really shocked after reading your last e-mail saying the refund is 0 Rp instead of promised amount of 11, 386 Rp. Immediately I've called to your help line again and talked to a girl who works for you. She said that the cancellation is in the process of investigation and she promised they will do something about it and Cleartrip will get back to me within 24 hours.

                            Now it is already more than 24 hours and no-one hasn't contacted me about this issue.

                            Am very unhappy with the whole situation. This is definitely not professional if every of your employee is saying something else. Also why should I spend more money for a refundable flight ticket and pay extra for an insurance if the refund is zero? It seems to be like a bad joke, dont you think?

                            As I said am very unhappy with the whole process and (dis)communication. If you dont provide any reasonable solution am gonna complain in consumer court, write to my embassy and also write to the ministry of tourism government of India.

                              On 03/10/2018 i took a ticket from cleartrip app, while selecting insurance, the company is not mentioned that the insured person must be permanent resident o[censored]nited arab emirates, after finishing the payment they mentioned in the email, then what is the use of the insurance, and i am already mentioned in the passenger details that, he/ she is in the tourist visa, even that time they have to mentioned these conditions, but they didn't inform.

                              Please requested them to refund my insurance amount.

                                In the month of july i had booked tickets for journey from bombay to udupi the payment was taken twice.. So i had called the customer care number the cancellation part etc was done but it been 2 months no payment received. The second ticket which was booked for goa bombay travel the card payment was going on and the payment was deducted without confirm tickets.. Still now i have not received the refund for that.. So bad experience from clear trip really not appreciated at all

                                  My trip ID is -- Trip ID : [protected] on which I have cancelled my flight almost 2 months back but no refund from Clear Trip. Every time I call their Customer care, same answer like pending from Airline, But I have visited Airline office (Bangladesh Airline), they said they haven't get any request. I am getting same response each & every time, no point of contacting them, its waste of time & energy. Its a mental harassment for me. I want them to confirm them the refund date.

                                    I have booked my ticket, at night 11:50 pm, they say payment done successfully, and even provided me booking id, morning i have got msg that my money have been initiated, for my ticket cancellation.

                                    This month last, initiation mean it gonna take more three days, today is friday, there will be bank holidays. Flight rate gonna be high in 4 5 days that is obviously, how i'll get my surplus amount.

I had done the initial booking in m business hotel in goa from september 20th - 23rd but i needed it to be changed to sep 27th - 30th. I spoke to an executive called reynold francis, he said that i need not cancel but i can postpone the trip and he also sent me an email confirming the same. When my family members went to check in to the hotel, they said we do not have a booking. It was a such a painful experience as my old aged mother had to be there at the hotel waiting for nearly 2 hours. I was continuously on the phone trying to speak to the executive and they kept me on hold for nearly 30 minutes and no one ever got back to me. Everytime i called i was told we need to speak to the officer. Finally i could not wait for their calls and could not keep my mother waiting and so i had no choice but to book the rooms on mmt. Now the hassle of going via taxi to another hotel and the time and cost involved for a new booking who is going to bear that.in addition to that the trauma my aged mother had to undergo who is responsible for that. Please consider my case.

                                        Yesterday on 25th september 2018 night at 11 pm, i had booked tickets for mumbai to auckland and return - on cleartrip for 4 persons with trip id [protected]. It was mentioned in the mail that within 5 hrs confirmed tickets will be mailed on the registered mail id.
                                        But i haven't yet received the tickets on my registered mail now it being 13.5 hours.
                                        Please mail the confirmed tickets urgently on the given registered mail id - [protected]@rediffmail.com.
