I had faced harassment from cleartrip. I had booked airlines in last april and due to death of my grandmother i had cancelled after 10 days of booking. Now i got a mail from cleartrip on 27/02/2018 for the necessary docs. I had submitted death certificate with all the other docs on 28/02/2018. After that i have sent several reminders but till date there is no response. Please tell them to clear all my dues against this trip id as i cant pay this amount of rs 56000.

    I booked three flight tickets from chennai to colombo (Round trip) on 21st of august. Trip id:[protected] pnr: y8cj3. Our date of journey was to be on the 15th of november. We had to cancel this booking as our intention was to book on air indigo & we selected the correct flight on the app, confirmed all details just before making payment. However to our surprise we got booked on air india & that was the only reason for us to cancel that booking which we did the very next minute after if was booked. Now i believe there was some flaw in the app which didn't show any details of the flight on the payment screen, didn't ask for any confirmation. Even at the time of cancellation neither did i get any notification/confirmation as to how much amount would be deducted. We immediately wrote an email the next morning to clear trip inquiring how much would be refunded, much to our surprise we were informed that we would be getting rs.10, 636 out of the total fare of rs.31, 225. It is totally absurd & we are totally disappointed that they charged (Rs.20589) 65.93% for a cancellation done just minutes after booking & that too when the date of the journey was more than 2 months from the time i booked. Ever since then clear trip private limited & air india have been passing the buck on each other. I booked it through clear trip assuming that it would be hassle free, however its just been an ordeal to us.
    Request a reasonable cancellation to be levied & the balance amount refunded at the earliest.

      Hi,

      I booked one ticket[protected] yesterday with misspell name so i cancelled the ticket to book another one with correct name, in portal they have shown as while cancelling the refundable amount will be '2149'. But when i did cancel it updated as refundable amount as nil. This is something nonsense worst travel agent. If you are not paying the refundable amount then why you are showing the refundable amount before cancelling.

      Even though i booked another ticket for that, but i did not get back my money.
      I will never recommend for this travel agent.

      I bought a ticket for the GoAir flight from Jaipur to Kolkata and back - 04/11/2018- and 11/11/2018 for customer name SAYAK GHOSH - Clear trip : PNR C9GY7A/PNR DBKF8X. On reaching the airport to board the flight it was found that the ticket stands cancelled - Trip ID [protected]. As the passenger had to trevel - he had to buy a ticket afresh at ahigher price. It was utter surprise - we mailed to GoAir regarding this fraudulent happening about the ticket from Cleartrip - they mailed me back and categorically mentioned that some called "AMAN" and agent of cleartrip cancelled the whole ticket, agian the return ticket had to bought.

      Now "cleartrip" is mailing us that this is no refund ticket and naturally no money can be refunded - ZERO REFUND

      So we straight away loose Rs26000/-+ and Indirectly another 4000/- for buying tickets afresh for the Journey

        I have booked my flight ticket not having cleartrip account for imphal from guwahati using cleartrip, departing on 30/08/18. I have paid the ticket amount but i didn't get any confirmation text in my phone or trip id in my email. please help me get my ticket confirmation through my email, so that i can get my ticket without any problem. I am also attaching the screenshot text that deducts from my account.

          As we discussed earlier, i have booked the flight ticket (Ticket 098-[protected], pnr is q6hzcv, trip id is[protected].) for my son from delhi to vancouver via san francisco yesterday at around 6 pm. Post booking only i get to know it need a transit visa while checking the ticket important note.

          Hence i need to cancel the ticket with in 2 hours. I have not been told this before or during the process of purchasing the ticket. It is the responsibility of the travel agency to refund the amount inr 65, 519 /-.

          Request your sincere support and quick refund. I will highly appreciate your services if get the refund and advice many of my office colleagues to use the services of your travel agency in future.

            Ticket for kochi - lucknow return flight — trip id [protected]

            Amount paid ₹15, 633 (Payment was effected from my account via net banking)

            My flight banglore - kochi on 15th august was cancelled on account of the closure of kochi airport due to floods. And the airline had offered the refund up on cancelling that sector (Banglore - kochi) and accordingly i was told that amount will be credited to me through the agent (Cleartrip) immediately after 7 days. However till to day i have not received the fund back. Please look into this matter and do the needful without further delay.

                We had booked a flight from mumbai to mangalore for 28th august through cleartrip. The booking was done on 29th may 2018. The flight was cancelled and we were not informed properly. We had to find out after we reached the airport. There was no call or sms to inform about the cancellation. Just a mail which got lost in their own 100s of spam mails. As we had all other bookings done in mangalore, we had no option other than taking a last minute flight which was very expensive. We had to pay for extra baggage also as our original flight had more allowance.
                We had a horrible travel experience.
                Please look into it as we had a horrible experience and loss of money

                    I had book a flight with cleartrip through credit card, which due to some situation i had to cancel, and booked another. Flight which i cancelled was 48k and after reducing 15k towards gst, cancellation and convenience fees i got refund of 33k. I did not get the refund on my credit card, but i got on cleartrip wallet. I requested to credit my cleartrip balance to my bank account for which they said it's against their policy to refund wallet balance in any other method.

                    I also felt that my laptop has been technically compromised and my wallet balance is at stake as these days we keep our passwords saves at google websites. I told them to understand my exceptional situation and give me my wallet balance as bank refund. They just kept saying we are sorry, we ubderstand your problem but we cannot do anything.

                    I gave them different options

                    I told them to refund my wallet balance into my bank account. They denied that.

                    I told them i want to close my cleartrip account so will they settle my wallet balance to my bank account. They said no if i close the account, the balance will be taken by them, and they don't have policy to close the account.

                    I don't understand why they are not giving me my own money i had to literally call them 5 -6 times, talk for an hour and beg my own money but their company policy does not allow them to do anything.

                    There company policy allows them to take away wallet money of their customers but do ot allow them to clear wallet balance under exceptional situations.

                    I feel helpless.

                      Hi my name is manjula sharma my hubbby pnr no is gbqfjc his mail id is [protected]@gmail.com. He hav to travel from amritsar to mumbai on 31 august.
                      But apart from that one more flight ticket with pnr sg6vww ms shayma khan also comes on my email id and she had booked ticket via same phone no [protected]. How come it possible.
                      Later when we contact with indigo they told that they had updated phone number as well as email id.
                      With humble regarda only i want to know that who had booked ticket of saima lhan using my husband email id and phone no.

Becoz they are not sayma khan number.[protected] ye no update kiya hai indigo pe aur email id hai [protected]@gmail.com. Its my humble request to clear trip helpe out in this case my husband said i had not book tickets.. His tickets money give by his friend. Npw i want proff and propee confirmation who had booked ticket by which account.. Uderwise i have to go consumer court... Ye bat do tickets ki nahi hai jhit sach ki hai... Aap sahi hai to with proof mujhe batye

                          I have purchased 2 return tickets from kuwait to dubai by flydubai airlines for an amount of kd 109.420 which is as per flydubai is a refundable ticket. Now the tickets were processed for refund and as per the email received from clear trip the refundable amount is below kd 14.000 which is not acceptable. I, therefore, request you to look into this and get me the full refund. I have spoken to the flydubai and the consumer complaint in kuwait and eligible for the refund.

                            I had booked a round trip from mumbai to trivandrum through cleartrip for my dad in which it was mentioned as terminal 1 of trivandrum airport for both destination and departure. The trip from mumbai to trivandrum was fine. However while returning, to his surprise he realised that the flight was supposed to take off from terminal 2 which is 8 kms away from terminal 1. On asking the air india officials, they claimed they had no role in this misunderstanding, it was solely cleartrip’s error and he has to help himself. This is to bring to the notice that there were several passengers who were victims to this negligence. What made me lodge this complaint is that my dad was travelling on emergency to attend two funerals (Brother and brother in law), this inconvenience is so disturbing for such a passenger. We request to rectify this issue at the earliest to avoid unwanted confusions and inconvenience in the future.

                                My son's (Pratik Shendarkar) PNR No. for travel between Bombay and Chennai dated 30.6.2018 was ZCH58P. The said ticket was cancelled and the Indigo vide its email has intimated that an amount of Rs.410/- has been refunded to the Agent i.e. Cleartrip. During interactions with your customer care, it has been assured to me that amount will be refunded at the earliest. However, it is regretted that the same has not yet been done. Kindly do the needful at the earliest.

                                  The customer service was good but that didnt ensure a full refund for my cancelled ticket.

                                  My first booking ([protected]) wasnt a success as "the trip was no more available" and cleartrip directed me to the list of flights scheduled for 25th aug and i immediately booked another one ([protected]). Then when i checked my mail 2 tickets were confirmed.

                                  Considering that i applied for cancellation within 20 minutes and contacted the customer care and narrated the situation, i hoped to get a full refund. But since i havent got a positive response yet, i would avoid cleartrip from now on. All my family have been booking flights on cleartrip this year, but since we have lost confidence in the service and have lost the sum for no fault on our part, we are complelled to choose another option.

                                    Called you on 22nd but told me that cochin airport will open for flights on 26th. Called spicejet and told me that airport is closed till 29th. They told me that if you cancel your tickets full refund is admissible to you since it is not your fault. So myself opted for it. Since i am cancelling my trip my round trip ticket is not required and so they told me that entire journey amount will be reimburse to you through your agency i e cleartrip. So i contacted to day 25 th with you but no reply yet from your side. You never shown the curtsey to inform me the journey problem till this time. Evenif i contacted you twice my problem is still pending. My request is please reimburse my amount at an earliest.

                                    I booked an air ticket from clear trip. Although the money was deducted from my account, I did not receive any confirmation mail from them. All their customer support sites show information. They keep asking for a clear trip id done at the time of booking but i haven't received any ID.

                                      I booked the flight for 8th and 11th and paid online. On 8th one hour before the flight the flight was cancelled and on the same day i asked the return also to be cancelled and the refund to be made in the airport itself. Also i spoke to an adviser of airasia asking to cancel the return ticket and refund the money. After 10 of waiting and keep calling the support team of airasia i got to know that they have refunded the amount to cleartrip but they have still not done the refund hence i tried contacting cleartrip but i can never get through to sombdy to talk so i sent mails to the support team with all these information they keep sending me this below email

                                        I've received credit note from indigo airlines for the following amount:
                                        Inr 19, 084.00 - pnr: wk3j2u
                                        Inr 17, 564.00 - pnr: wk3j2u

                                        Where it's clearly mentioned that the full amount is refunded to me but i received only 9k in my account. So, when i could receive the remaining amount.

                                        Note: i called customer care and drop mail thrice but didn't hear a single word from cleartrip. So, if my problem is not solved in the next 10 days then, i will file a case against your company.
