I had been to innovative film city, bangalore and booked ticket through cleartrip. On first attempt, system failure message came immediately after payment on cleartrip. Tried second time and received confirmed entry ticket. On checking bank statement, found the deduction twice. On contacting customer care, the head of the department said, i have made both the bookings using two mail id, and cheque/reference number on my bank transactions are in their record. Or someone else has misused my account for booking. Both the mail ids (One belongs to me and other belongs to unknown person). Amount can't be refund and mailed the same to me. Next day i tried again and customer care has tried calling on the other booking number and requested the contact person to provide bank statement for verifying the transaction. Still no update has come. This is a technical issue in cleartrip website/app. Transaction was done from my account and confirmed to someone else, done on the same date and time.
Why i will book twice and run back for refund. Cleartrip doesn't care for customer. Last time i have used their service and request others also not to use.
ClearTrip customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
