Hi team,
This is to highlight one of insensitive and irresponsible behavior shown by Cleartrip where I was following up with them for past 17 days and wrote several mails but they didn't even bother to respond or provide a clear response on my issue related to one of the hotel booking done with them. Actually I booked a hotel Treebo residency for 2nd to 3rd may and made the payment through my mobikwik wallet. The booking got cancelled due to emergency at my home. I talked to the hotel and they issued a full refund on medical grounds. But cleartrip neither approached the hotel nor reached out to me for refund and I kept on following up (refer the mails below). Whenever I called them, they either told me to talk to the hotel or the wallet from which I made the payment. I fall trapped between Hotel, cleartrip and Mobikwik.

I have been running around back and forth with Treebo hotels and Cleartrip team but I just came to know the real culprit is you people. I have had several bad experiences with Mobikwik and this is the reason I stopped using the mobikwik wallet for a while because of your unclear terms and conditions. But this is a classic case. I am ashamed to see your modus operandi. I am completely speechless looking at your customer attitude. This is disgusting that you people have no courtesy to look at mails from a annoyed customer or have some shame to at least respond back. If your only motive is to earn money by unfair means then there are several other ways to do that.

I want to highlight one of extremely bad experience which I had with you. I never expected such an irresponsible and insensitive behavior from your customer support team. Just to reiterate the instance, I had the above mentioned booking for today at Treebo New residency. However, I met with a medical emergency at home where my son had to be hospitalized. Thus I wanted my booking to be either cancelled or rescheduled. I called up Treebo hotels and they told me that it can be doable but once they get a mail from Cleartrip.com. I called up the customer care and explained the whole scenario which took me more than 30min. The guy was so insensitive while talking and gave me reference to non refundable hotel policy several times. I kept on telling him that I already had a discussion with the hotel and they are willing to make the changes. At last I was asked for medical documents of my son and then he told me that he will send the request to the hotel and will wait for revert. I said I am ok with any decision as the emergency is more important for me rather than money spent on this booking.
Late last night I got a standard response from Mr Nasir Shaikh stating that as per the hotel policy this is a non refundable booking and apologies for the inconvenience caused. I was quite surprised so I thought to talk to hotel guys and ask them about the problem. When I discussed with them I was surprised to know that they never received any request from Cleartrip team. This was really shocking for me as I thought that your team denied my request post discussing with the hotel. The Treebo team was quite sensitive to my concern and they immediately issued a refund and asked me to reach out to you guys. I am reaching out to you not to get my money back, but to tell you about the pathetic service and irresponsible behavior for your customers. I replied on the mail I received from your team and I haven’t received any response yet showing the kind of customer service you provide.
you may keep this money refunded from the Treebo Hotels team but I need a response from you. I don’t need the money but I need to know your modus operandi. And least to say, me and anyone from my family is no more a cleartrip customer anymore.

I am extremely annoyed with your standard response despite of my conversation with your team. You being so insensitive and irresponsible towards your customer's concern that you didn't even bothered to reach out to the hotel and check with them. I already checked with the hotel and they told me that they can very much do the changes or refund on medical grounds. I then reached out to you people just to get this pathetic standard response. If this is the kind of service you people provide to your customers then I am sorry to say that you don't even deserve to be in the business. I was not even asking for the refund, I asked for moving the reservation to some other day. I was asked to submit medical doc's which I did. I am not that worried for losing RS 1144 but the way you people handled this. In the past I got far better response and service from your competitors.
