On 31st of March 2018, I booked flight tickets for my colleagues traveling on 8th of April 2018 (tomorrow). We booked for 6 adults and their return on 10th of April 2018.
I immediately noticed that one passenger – Kundan Purao had a Letter correction required, It was mistakenly typed Purav. I Immediately called Clear Trip and explianed the situation and asked whether I need to cancel and rebook, I was assured that they’ll put a request to the airline and the same will be sorted in 48 hours and I can then take a print out of the revised booking. 3 days passed and still it didn’t change, again I called Cleartrip and they told me that no such request was put forward and I requested to put the request on.
Later again when it wasn’t done, I called and I was told that I have to speak to the airline directly, which I did and they told me that I need to get Cleartrip to do the needful.
It’s been 8 days now and I’ve been going back and forth with Cleartrip and Air India.
When I called today, I spoke to Amruta and later I spoke to Vineeta, both couldn’t help me and when I asked to speak to a Manager, first I was told that he isn’t there today, later that they couldn’t give his name (which i was told Later as just Shubham, without a surname) nor could speak with Him / Her., and finally Vineeta turned very curt and fresh with me.
I’m appaled that a company like Cleartrip does this. Why wasn’t I given a solution? I’m not a cheap skate, if there was a charge involved, then I would’ve obliged. It’s beyond me that my simple request wasn’t fulfilled while I gave so many days for correction.
I’ve on an average spent 20-60 minutes per call in the past 8 days, I would like a quick response on this with a solution or I’m booking your company for harrassment, wasting my time and would like compensation for the number of work hours I spent on this issue.
ClearTrip customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
I have booked an air ticket on 2 April 2018 from chennai to pune, my amount got deducted from bank account but i didn't received any confirmation, i called the spice jet to check my booking but they didnt received any booking from my name, kindly look into this matter.
