Dear sir,

I refer to my telephonic conversation with one of your executives mr. Manoj today at around 2 p. M.

Hotel vivek, gorakhpur was booked through your portal 'cleartrip'

The rates shown for 2 rooms for 2 days from 17th feb. 2018 to 19th feb, 2018 was rs. 8260/- which i re-confirmed from the hotel vivek, which is also evident from the screen shot and the scanned copy of the page that opened and asked me to pay the above said amount.

I proceeded to pay the amount of rs. 8260/- which was clearly showing till the last page when it said 'please make the payment'.

To my utter surprise and disgust the amount got converted into rs.11, 583/- (The scanned copy of the same is attached herewith)

I furiously got in touch with the hotel and asked them for an explanation. They told me that they have nothing to do with the transaction as the rooms were not booked directly but through the 'cleartrip' and therefore they are responsible for the fraud.

I later came to know about the tactics, designs and machinations of 'cleartrip' by many gullible customers who were tricked or duped at some point of time or other.

The internet is full of complaints by scores of people. I have attached one of the screen shots for your perusal.

This is a clear case of cheating, breach of trust, defrauding using unfair or deceitful methods.

This is to request you to kindly investigate and refund the excess amount to me that you have fraudulently converted into.
I have in the meantime send you several reminders but you have not responded to any of any mails nor communicated to me the inference of your impartial investigation.
I have sent you all the details with proof and documentary evidences but to no avail.
I am totally distressed with your inaction. I did not expect a company with a reputation like 'cleartrip' is shirking taking the responsibility for the wrong-doing.
Kindly be truthful and honest. Any decision taken by you will be accepted.

Dear Associate, iam booked tickets on [protected] .29/04/18.morning .but I got the evening flight ticket. Please change my flight time early morning 6.15 am. On same day same flight.if you are not giving a good service to customers. otherwise I will go in legal procedure and media's. Ok

        Hi i’m ranjith kumar... Made a hotel room booking done in cleartrip site on 5th april in hotel sunshine highway inn in chennai... Trip i’d is [protected]... Booked room for 2 persons per room... Got my booking confirmed from clear trip... Booked room for 7 the april... When i contacted the hotel they told me that only 1 person is allowed and for the other one have to book another room... They told me to cancel that ticket and to book another ticket for 2 persons/room... The ticket from clear trip clearly showed that it is for 2 persons/room... The hotel people told me that the cleartrip persons had not contacted to them about the booking yet, so they lol inform them about this and asked me to cancel it... So i cancelled the ticket and the refund amount showed zero... I contacted cleartrip customer care.. They told me to wait and they contacted the hotel... Finally told me that they are not aware of the hotel policy and told me that they can’t do anything as i had cancelled the ticket... The customer care person is not even accepting the mistake on them and was repeatedly telling me that “”sir, you have cancelled your ticket... We can’t do anything”””...in order to confirm the fraud i went into cleartrip site and tried booking another hotel for 2persons per room... With the details that was shown i contacted that hotel and they also told me that it is for 1 person only and not 2... Cleartrip shows it for 2 persons and they are booking for it...
        Why cleartrip has hotel booking if they don’t have any idea about the hotel policy in which they book tickets?? They r making us to suffer for their mistakes and looting our hard earned money from us... Had my money lost in a site worth a garbage... L
        I strongly recommend not to book anything in cleartrip... Cleartrip is a fraud...

          On 31st of March 2018, I booked flight tickets for my colleagues traveling on 8th of April 2018 (tomorrow). We booked for 6 adults and their return on 10th of April 2018.

          I immediately noticed that one passenger – Kundan Purao had a Letter correction required, It was mistakenly typed Purav. I Immediately called Clear Trip and explianed the situation and asked whether I need to cancel and rebook, I was assured that they’ll put a request to the airline and the same will be sorted in 48 hours and I can then take a print out of the revised booking. 3 days passed and still it didn’t change, again I called Cleartrip and they told me that no such request was put forward and I requested to put the request on.

          Later again when it wasn’t done, I called and I was told that I have to speak to the airline directly, which I did and they told me that I need to get Cleartrip to do the needful.

          It’s been 8 days now and I’ve been going back and forth with Cleartrip and Air India.

          When I called today, I spoke to Amruta and later I spoke to Vineeta, both couldn’t help me and when I asked to speak to a Manager, first I was told that he isn’t there today, later that they couldn’t give his name (which i was told Later as just Shubham, without a surname) nor could speak with Him / Her., and finally Vineeta turned very curt and fresh with me.

          I’m appaled that a company like Cleartrip does this. Why wasn’t I given a solution? I’m not a cheap skate, if there was a charge involved, then I would’ve obliged. It’s beyond me that my simple request wasn’t fulfilled while I gave so many days for correction.

          I’ve on an average spent 20-60 minutes per call in the past 8 days, I would like a quick response on this with a solution or I’m booking your company for harrassment, wasting my time and would like compensation for the number of work hours I spent on this issue.

          I have booked an air ticket on 2 April 2018 from chennai to pune, my amount got deducted from bank account but i didn't received any confirmation, i called the spice jet to check my booking but they didnt received any booking from my name, kindly look into this matter.

            This is like everytime problem with booking hotel on cleartrip.com they show you good rooms on website and at time of checkin there is always surprises hotel gives cheapest rooms they have.
            trip id [protected]
            and you never get refund. so its simply fraud website cheating everyone.
            booked one premier room from the website and when i sent premier rooms pictures displayed on cleartrip.com to hotel to confirm if i get same room or not as i have issues in past with cleartrip.com showing incorrect rooms. Received hotel's response that its suit room's pictures and not the one i booked.
            Cleartrip customer care is not even ready to refund my money saying its non refundable.

            You can check screenshot of their website showing premier rooms pictures. its clearly written on their website that this pictures are of premier room.

                Dear rupesh,

                This is with the reference to the following trip id [protected] and [protected] booked under the login id "[protected]@rediffmail.com"
                I strongly would like to record that we have gone through an horrific experience because of careless attitude of cleartrip, more over we have also been subjected to huge financial loss not only for buying new ticket (In the trail mail) but also because of the time delay to reach mumbai we could not carry out our scheduled business meeting
                We had to book new tickets as no solution was offered to us because of the luggage we packed was as per the tickets issued by cleartrip which mentions checkin luggage as 25 kg and cabin language as 7 kg (Exhibit 1 and 2 attached) whereas the airlines was not allowing more than 15 kg cabin and checkin put together)
                Please note that i demand a full refund of the trip id cost as well as the extra amount i had to bear because of the luggage issues which airindia created because of weight restrictions policy of the airlines at jammu, we have been constantly following up with the customer care team of cleartrip (Audio recordings can be produced if req) but we have not got any resolution as of today
                Please note if i don't get the resolution by monday morning i will be left with no choice but to approach legal path along with the help of media to expose the corruption and harassment

                  I, ms rakhi aravind had booked go air flight from mumbai to kochi for 22nd april. On march 10th i received a message from the company that my fight has been cancelled and they booked another flight for me and it was not a convenient time for my trip. So i called the company for cancellation. They had told me it's been cancelled and money will be refunded to my account with in 5_7 days. But it is almost a month now money not refunded. I got my arn number from the company but bank person told that transaction is not done from company. Please do the needful. My tip id is : [protected]

                    On 22.03.2018 while making the payment for an air ticket through net banking ( via Clear trip) transaction failed msg appeared . Therefore I rebook the tickets after some time.
                    Since there was transaction failure in the first attempt I thought that the money will be refunded within two to three days . I even contacted SBI when the money was not refunded within a week. But SBI official said that there is no problem on their side and both the transaction is successful.
                    Clear trip did not inform me that I have done the same ticket twice. They did not even send the tickets in my mail id. Otherwise I would have come to know about it and would have canceled one of it..
                    I have to call Indigo official to mail me the tickets just one day before the journey to get the ticket print.
                    An amount of twenty one thousand rupees is simply wastes due to negligence .Presently i am in a great financial crisis to support my ventilated child who is on suffering from very very rear disease since her birth.

                      This flight was delayed by spice jet for more than 3 hrs and hence we had to cancel. I called spice jet on the same day and they have initiated a full refund to clear trip amount rs 9839/-. However clear trip has only refunded rs. 391 to me.
                      May i ask why? I need my entire amount which the airline has paid to clear trip on 28 feb 2018 back.
                      This is highly disappointing and dis satisfactory service and i will be taking this forward. Not acceptable at all!!!

                        Trip id : [protected]- chennai to madurai – air pegasus booking

                        This is regarding the status of my refund for chennai to madurai booking (Air pegasus flight) via cleartrip. The trip was dated sep 7, 2016 and total ticket cost was rs.1672.

                        I had communicated with you in the 1st week of nov 2016, sent you letter via speed post and also raised a complaint via customer support. The reply has not been satisfactory as there is no deadline committed on the status of my refund.

                        It has been more than 2 years since the incident and i am yet to get a refund on the same.
                        ClearTrip customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                        Dear Team, Clear Trip is not booking my revised ticket from last 4 days and has cancelled my original ticket without any reason. I have tried calling them but no response. They are neither calling me nor booking the revised tickets. Please help in resolving the issue.

                              I booked my flights on 21st march and cancelled on 22nd march due to change in plans through cleartrip but after 12 days also there is no response from them about the refund. While cancelling i received a message that refund will be processed in 5 working days. I checked with the airlines and there local partners danata. They both confirmed to me that airlines have already refunded the amount to cleartrip. My trip id [protected].

                                Sub: cancellation for bangalore - london return flight — trip id[protected]
                                I refer to the above trip cancellation. Clear trip has deducted a sum of rupees 14349 against the ticket price of rs. 56022. This is @25% deduction.
                                The airline charges of rupees 12343 are ridiculous.
                                The cancellation was done more than 24 hours of the departure of first flight from bangalore and as such the charges of cancellation to the extent of 25% are not justified and are not acceptable.

                                    I had booked my to & fro air tickets for myself & my wife on 9th Jan.2018 for the travel to commence on 19th April 2018 from Mumbai to Dubai and subsequent return booking for 27th April 2018 under Trip ID[protected]. The booking included the Insurance amount for both but however after the booking we could get only the e.tickets but there was no copy of insurance provided.

                                      Customer service tasks long time to pick up a phone. I lost around 400$ for a little name mistake. The flight agent had no problem with except cleartrip who regretted to help me.
                                      This experience is the first and the last one with cleartrip. I will raise it up to all aviation authorities to get the refund. I’m sure the name i wrote was right and there was a technical mistake with cleartrip website.

                                      I have received a message from my bank of omr 55.288 being debited from my account by CLEARTRIP ME A FZ LLC whereas I have not been issued a ticket

                                        I have booked train tickets in this ### cleartrip. Due to the waiting list of the ticket i want to cancel this ticket ..and on cancelling process i found it was a fradulent and it has cheated many people . as due to some emergency i need to book the ticket in this app as i dont know it is a fradulent and it was coming as a more prior link when booking tickets. It should be banned first. and the CUSTOMER CARE for this are computer generated as it is not responding correctly and its a clear way to know that it is a fradulent. I have not able to cancel the ticktes and please take severe action against this ### **** fradulent company.
