Hi,

I was also trapped in the membership. However, soon after booking I realized it was not something I needed. Because they have so many ifs & buts. I realize that we would end up paying 3000+ per night anyway which is not worth with so many constraints & poor service.

If they had good email support, live chat support, instant phone call support, full guide to my tour etc, I would have considered it yet.

I tried to give a trial booking before cancellation - my experience was pathetic.

So, I requested for refund. But, I have not heard from them yet. Please help so that I get refund asap & peace on my mind.

I have tried to contact your team many times, but never got satisfatory response. So, I have no other way then going to public forum. If you true, justify yourself.
I had membership with Club Jiva in last week and found lots of bad reviews regarding fraud with this company.

Want to cancel my memebrship with them and refund paid amound by me.

Club jiva will not respond either on phone calls or through e-mails. We are tired of Club Jiva and please don't believe them. We are believing and listening to their stories for past 2 months and now case will be settled legally. Spend some time in filing a legal case against Club Jiva and the sales person Prathmesh (From Goa).

Simi, the person concerned for refund, will speak that amount will be refunded but amount will not be credited to the account. I have already communicated to bank authorities and I was asked by bank authority to approach police as Club Jiva miscommunicated to us blaming our bank for not credited amount to the bank

    I have taken club jiva membership in oct 201 in goa.,
    after coming back i tried calling office no. but there was no response. i mailed them regarding refund of my membership amount but no response. while taking membership club jivas executive amar sing told me i can encash my vacation if i am not able to go any particular year. now after forcefully accepting membership they are telling me i club jiva will not encash vacation i have to do it on my own. this is really fraud company. i am feed up of this. i want to refund my membership money.

      Hi, like u all, we also got trapped by these club jiva people (Gift coupon of ipad, led, holiday package and cash) in matheran. We had been there to spend our diwali holidays and have quality time, but everything was ruined by club jiva. They just washed our brains by showing different packages. They didn't give us enough time to think and decide. They told us to sign the agreement papers and u can read the papers afterwards in your hotel room. We were such fools that we agreed, signed and ended up paying 25k on the spot. After returning from the vacation (Just after two days) when we called them to cancel the agreement and refund, we got a negative reply. Pls help i[censored] can...Pls.

        Club Jiva doing d wrong promotions in Hotel Hillocks, Mount Abu.
        They swiped our two DCB Bank Debit card through HDFC bank machine for amt. 127000 n we signed it under pressure/ hypnotism. N Now this club is not returning our money as we don't want to take the member ship of such a fraud club.They don't have any proper customer care n doing d fake promises that they will return our money but not giving any written statement. I have the contact nos. Of some club jiva members. Both the banks can help us in this case if they will.

        We visited mount Abu on 31st mar. At hotel hillocks the person of club jiva swiped our debit card for the amount of 1.25 lac n after coming back we checked d reviews of fraud club jiva so now I want my money back n want to cancel d membership.

        Club Jiva is a fraud club.They are doing wrong promotions at tourist places n trapping d people.On 31st mar.2016, club jiva member invite us at hotel Hillocks, Mount Abu to attend a presentation. After 3-4 hr.they create so much trauma n pressure to make payment n swiped our debit card through HDFC bank machine n now they are not returning our money as we r not interested in taking membership. Their customer care no. Is not working n club is doing the fake promises.Govt. n crime branch should also take some steps against such kind of non reliable companies n clubs.
        KIndly contact your credit card bank immediately and ask them to hold the amount. Otherwise U will suffer loss

Take strong legal action against them jointly.

        This is your kind information that "Club Jiva" has taken their company registration in 2013 then how they can celebrate 5th anniversary since last one year. They are bloody cheater with a great convincing brain.

          Yesterday I was in Mount Abu and one person on the road give me coupoun and asked to open in that I got one prize out of 4, LED TV/ Holiday Offer/ IPad/10000 cash. The person asked to collect your prize from Hillock Hotel. There they told to clim prize you will have to attend our 1 hour presentation. There they told me show many things about he facilities they provide and took Rs 127, 000 as advance for membership. But after coming back on the intenet all the reviews are very bad. So I decided not to take the membership. So. please my amount of Rs.127, 000.

          Normally credit card account take 2-3 days time to transfer money in other account, kindly contact your concerned credit card bank and tell them about this fraud and ask them to hold the amount for debiting otherwise you may suffer loos because Club Jiva is not going to refund your money. They are bloody scammer.

            I have recently visited goa for vacation and met two persons at road side they have stopped me and said we are from club jiva and organizing a promotional event at hotel la calapse (Baga area ) reason is club jiva has completed five years and they give us two scratch card for scratching luckily i have won the surprise gift they told me we can give you your price after joining our promotional event i said ok and than they bring me to hotel la calapse i have seen many families and couples joined club jiva membership after my satisfaction as they told me about membership i have also decided to join the membership and i have paid 5000/- rupees as an earnest money for membership and rest of payment is an installment my second installmentiwas due on 18 march i recveived call from club jiva the executive said please make your payment i agree to pay that payment but they said we can't accept your payment through credit card because we don't have the gateway of credit card payment but they did not told me this thing when i was in goa now they don't respond my mails or calls.

              We took club jiva membership while on our Matheran trip. Now when I am asking for hotel reservation, there is no response / revert on my bookings despite repeated calls / emails. Every time I call their customer care office, they hv standard reply 'the person handling your booking is sick and on leave'. I am just fed up following with them. My email was sent in the first week of Feb. 2016 but till date no revert, just getting auto reply. we feel cheated, helpless. Is there any way I can cancel the membership and get my money back.                 I was on vacation for my first marriage anniversary in Goa on 05-Mar-2016. I was approached by an agent named Abhijeet near Baga beach on 05-MAR-2016 claiming to give gift scratch cards on celebration of 5th anniversary of La Calypso hotel. We were informed by Abhijeet that La Calypso hotel has completed 5 years and we have to visit the facilities for 1 hour in order to claim the gift.

                Upon opening the gift card, I won one of the four gifts, an iPad, an LED TV, 10k in cash or a paid vacation. All we had to do was to attend a 1 hour orientation session at La Calypso Hotel, Baga so that facilities could be demonstrated to us by La Calypso hotel authorities.

                We were asked to show ID Proof and Credit Card to claim the gift. When we asked why credit card is required, Mr. Abhijeet mentioned that the same is required for the Visa/Mastercard team for debiting the gift amount to the Bank with which we hold our credit Card and that his team has tied up with few major banks.

                The receptionist has checked the id proof and credit card details and upon which we were allowed to attend the presentation strictly for 1 hour.

                After we stepped into the meeting hall of La Calypso hotel, we were introduced to a Sales agent named Prathmesh and took 3 hour discussion even though we told that we need to have lunch and pleaded to finish off the presentation in 1 hour. We came to know only at the end of 2.5 hours that Club Jiva wants us to buy membership and offer is valid only on 05-Mar only for the fifth year celebration Very lately, we realized that the company was incorporated in 2013

                We were given a false picture that the Club Jiva membership which would entitle us to cheap accommodation in 5-Star properties across the world.

                Finally with the misrepresentation and false commitments, we were sold a membership of Rs90000 for a tenure of 25 years. After paying up the complete amount, I could find the receptionist opening up gift card instead of the persons from Mastercard/Visa and we were surprised and shocked.

                After reaching our Sterling resort, we enquired about the tie up with Club Jiva and sterling authorities denied such relationship as it is a Privately owned property. We enquired our friend who is a member of sterling regarding the same and the sterling representative assigned to my friend confirmed that no such tie up was with club Jiva.

                We have realised that we were cheated by club Jiva in a professional way and our first marriage anniversary was spoiled.

                We lost trust and interest with Club Jiva and please refund our amount of Rs.90000 for the below misrepresenation and cheating.

                1) Misrepresentation of anniversary function date and number of years of completion.
                2) Misrepresentation of data such as owning 32 resorts and La Calypso Hotel.
                3) Misrepresentation of promotion from Visa/Mastercard.
                4) Misrepresentation of fake people from Visa/Mastercard to provide gifts.
                5) Misrepresentation of tie ups with the major hotels.
                6) Misrepresentation of providing information that facilities of La Calypso hotel will be shown

                Its an unethical behavior towards us. I need refund of my amount immediately

                Request everyone not to fall in the trap of these guys and contact me in case anyone wants to join me in fighting against these people.

                Club Jiva customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                The other fraud was the resort list that was shared with us by Sales representative does not match with that of that sent by Support team.

                Sales rep sold the membership by misrepresenting information that Club Jiva owns 32 resorts but customer support team mailed that they own only 7 resorts and 32 resorts are being affiliated. When we enquired the Sales person regarding the same still he claims that Club Jiva owns 32 resorts.

                Club Jiva agreed to us that unintentionally anniversary function has been misrepresented by Sales guy and their receptionist is not supposed to scratch gift cards on behalf of MasterCard/Visa team. As we don't encourage and want to be associated with Club Jiva for their fraud and requested for misrepresentation, still they have not responded. Let us unite to fight against Club Jiva in the consumer court only.

                  The receptionist has checked the id proof and credit card details and upon which we were allowed to attend the presentation strictly for 1 hour.

                  After we stepped into the meeting hall of La Calypso hotel, we were introduced to a Sales agent named Prathmesh and took 3 hour discussion even though we told that we need to have lunch and pleaded to finish off the presentation in 1 hour. We came to know only at the end of 2.5 hours that Club Jiva wants us to buy membership and offer is valid only on 05-Mar only for the fifth year celebration Very lately, we realized that the company was incorporated in 2013

                  We were given a false picture that the Club Jiva membership which would entitle us to cheap accommodation in 5-Star properties across the world.

                  Finally with the misrepresentation and false commitments, we were sold a membership of Rs90000 for a tenure of 25 years. After paying up the complete amount, I could find the receptionist opening up gift card instead of the persons from Mastercard/Visa and we were surprised and shocked.

                  After reaching our Sterling resort, we enquired about the tie up with Club Jiva and sterling authorities denied such relationship as it is a Privately owned property. We enquired our friend who is a member of sterling regarding the same and the sterling representative assigned to my friend confirmed that no such tie up was with club Jiva.

                  We have realised that we were cheated by club Jiva in a professional way and our first marriage anniversary was spoiled.

                  We lost trust and interest with Club Jiva and please refund our amount of Rs.90000 for the below misrepresenation and cheating.

                  1) Misrepresentation of anniversary function date and number of years of completion.
                  2) Misrepresentation of data such as owning 32 resorts and La Calypso Hotel.
                  3) Misrepresentation of promotion from Visa/Mastercard.
                  4) Misrepresentation of fake people from Visa/Mastercard to provide gifts.
                  5) Misrepresentation of tie ups with the major hotels.
                  6) Misrepresentation of providing information that facilities of La Calypso hotel will be shown

                  Its an unethical behavior towards us. I need refund of my amount immediately

                    I availed the service of club jiva in Nov-2015 for anniversary celebration. Sales agents literally beg to scratch gift card and win a gift. But you always get Holiday option. Unfortunately, I am among the hundreds of persons who was cheated by Club Jiva.

                    I paid lumpsum amount but didn't realise the fraud committed by them very quickly

                    I called Club Jiva several times and explained my situation and requested for refund but no use. They make false promises to act quickly but they will never respond.

                    I have not had this kind of worst experience in the past and would like to take legal action against these people. I will go to Mumbai office with Police and ensure that these people will be accountable for the money taken from me.

                      Social media is free medium where people are free to write their issues and problems, every situation or problem can be solved and these comments hurt the name of a particular company or person. Club JIva has thousands of members and 30-40 bad reviews don't make them frauds because no company in the world can have 100% customer satisfied, I personally have holidayed with them and have never faced a problem, though there were booking hassles some times the problems were handled by customer care.

                      So I personally would recommend club jiva to anyone who wants to have a great time on his/her holidays..

                        I was on vacation in Goa with my wife recently. I was approached by an agent On 05-MAR-2016 from Club Jiva claiming to give away gift scratch cards on celebration of the NEVER ENDING anniversary function that is always open 365 days a year. Upon opening them, my wife got a card which assured her one of the four gifts, an iPad, an LED TV, 10k in cash or a paid vacation. All we had to do was to attend a 1 hour orientation session at La Calypso Hotel, Baga.

                        We were asked to get the credit card to authenticate our identity and then only we would be given the gift from Matercard/Visa team. Believing that, we went to get the credit/debit cards.

                        After we reached the La Calypso hotel, we were introduced to an agent who tries to be so nice to rob the amount at a later point of time. After that he tried to sell us the Club Jiva membership which would entitle us to cheap accommodation in 5-Star properties across the world. To my surprise, they had listed all major brand names like Hilton, Sheraton, Starwood, Marriott, Wyndham to name a few.

                        I was sold a membership for Rs90000 for a tenure of 25 years. I come from lawyer family and I am going to to put these people behind bars for the following.

                        1) Misrepresentation of anniversary function
                        2) Misrepresentation of data such as owning 32 resorts and La Calypso Hotel
                        3) Misrepresentation of promotion from Visa/Mastercard
                        4) Misrepresentation of tie ups with the major hotels.

                        After paying up the amount, I could find the receptionist opening up gift card instead of the persons from Mastercard/Visa

                        I will ensure that FB, Twitter, Online sites, travel aggregator sites are filled up with my comments on Club Jiva Management & Sales team for fraud

                          Club jiva is one of the fake and fraud company… On 1st march 2016, we approached by one of their agent near Baga beach (Goa) and he gave us two coupons to open. My husband got “Better luck next time” and I got lucky coupon. This is a marketing strategy of this cheap company to make fool the people as they used to keep the cards in such way that one person should get lucky winner. The lucky winner card was valid subject to attend 1 hour presentation of company at La Calypso hotel . When we went to attend the presentation next day, one guy came and meet us and suggested us to say the receptionist that we are not member of any company. We were quite surprised. We met receptionist and she handed over us to another boy named as Anuj. He explain us very well about club jiva that anyone can be cheat easily. After spoiling 2 hours we ask him to process fast as we are getting late. He started to explain us about membership and ask us whether we are happy with his presentation. When we said yes he called his manager to explain about charges. His manager came and explain the charges which we need to pay on the spot. We ask some time to think as we had never heard of Club Jiva before. We gone through the complaints on consumer forum and we came to know that this was a programme to loot our money. Finally when we said NO, that manager started to blame us for spoiling his time and used abusive language. He said “ anuj is bachha, aapane gher liya usako”. We don’t understand how this company is appointing such kind of fellows….We forgot to ask the name of that manger but whoever was he, he was one of the unprofessional person. He didn’t have any manners to handle the clients. we are glad we did not make the impulsive decision.
                          It was very bad experience and will never recommend on this to anyone…so that every rightful tourist coming to Goa on a vacation should not fall prey to Club Jiva, and get cheated ultimately..

                                    They had given me a membership deal which their concerned person had wrongly given me Blue membership instead of their commited Red One in Rs. 60, 000/-.
                                    When I went back to them on 14.01.16, they took back all the membership Papers from me & agreed to refund my money as per my Application & their Acceptance (App. Enclosed).
                                    Till date after my several Reminders I have not received my payment nor have I received any response from their Side.

                                      This club indulges in fraudulent ways to invite people to join the club. We were lucky that we nearly escaped all the mental trauma which others have gone through. We too were approached by two of their agents near Candolim beach. In fact one gift card revealed iPad as our gift; However the agents said that we will have to come to their resort to collect the gift. Thanks to my ultra-clever wife who smelled suspicion and denied going to the club office. After coming back to Pune I decided to find out the truth about the club and saw so many complaints on consumer forums. I hope that no tourists fall pray to such malicious practices !!

                                        I took interest in club Jiva On Dec 2015-Jan 2016 when in Matheran, Kumar plaza.
                                        Met an executive, Mr Richard
                                        Promised me a timeshare for 25 years for 6 Adult and 2 Kids, 2 bedroom hall apartment with kitchen facility.
                                        I gave the initial sum on 5 jan 2016 via cheque.
                                        Now wanted to go to Auli but i received Shock that they told me only 4 adult and 2 kids.
                                        when i showed interest i told them i am already member of Sterling resort for 99 year but problem is it is only for 4 adult and my family is of 6 adult and 2 kid and 2 bed room hall apartment with kitchen facility so we cant go together and no use taking again for 4 adult.
                                        now i have been talking to a lady named Swati but i am not getting quick reply from her because she says Richard will talk to me on that matter and Richard is absolutely unavailable. they are dragging their feet for last 10 days.
                                        they gave us a document saying it is a rough agreement(i informed them about their non inclusive of certain things they mentioned while presenting the timeshare) and everything would be given in fair and final document after initial payment.

                                        I am willing to accept the club Jiva proposal if they agree to the promised which they gave and give in official writing or documents.

                                        and if that is not they want to give then i would like my refund of the initial payment.

                                        i managed to get in touch with Mr Richard and he cleard the doubt with which i raised my complain. so it was my misunderstanding resulting into this mess. Thanx Club Jiva n Mr Richard

                                        Club Jiva- Don't try to fool customers that you are concerned about the concerns of customers. You have completely misrepresented information and cheated all the customers. Be ready to face the charges from Consumer court.
