Hi ALL, The same thing happened to all o[censored]s also. We went to visit Goa during first week of September-2015, and we were caught by Club Jiva agents in Dona Paula on 4th September-2015, saying that we are so lucky that we got a gift and to bring that gift we have to go to the one of their own resorts which is Sandalwood Hotel & Retreat Vainguinim Beach, Dona Paula, Panjim, Goa. the people who caught us did not give us a moment to think and immediately asked us to follow them on their bike.(WE had also rented a bike) . . Once we reached there, these Club Jiva employees made us sit for 30 minutes and in the meanwhile asked us to show our ID Proof & Credit Cards that we have and asked us all our personal information on how much limit do we have in these credit cards. Then took the Xerox copies of my Pan Card and all Credit cards that we had and they told us that it is important for them to take these copies to give the Gift. After that they said we have to attend some presentation of 1 hr. however Unfortunately the presentation went for some 4.5 hrs. Then they brought some other employees of Club Jiva, namely Shruti Pandey, Melville Fernandes, Kalpana Biswas and these three employees took back our gift card first without scratching the options on it and then took us to one another office room inside the same Sandalwood Retreat to give us Presentation on Club Jiva, and during that time, Their 3 Sales Agents, Shruti Pandey, Melville Fernandes and Kalpana Biswas from Club Jiva Marketing team, gave us a booklet and list (Xerox copy) of 77 IRA list of resorts, where-in they repeatedly informed us that once we pay Rs. 140, 000.00 upfront, and the maintenance amount of Rs. 4900.00 once in 2 years, there is no need for us to pay anything else While utilizing our holiday week in any of the 77 IRA list of resorts plus the 8 own Home Properties of Club Jiva (Which Club Jiva employees informed that these 8 resorts completely belong to them for a lease of 99 years), plus 2 hotels/resorts in Switzerland. Also, one another commitment was given to us that if we become a Club Jiva member we shall receive the DAE Gold Advantage card valid from 2016 (day of activation) till 25 years. And additionally they also promised us that in Bangalore, we would get the 25 years membership of The Club (Mysore Road) Bangalore, valid from 2016 (day of activation) till 25 years, and we need not pay anything for it. We wanted to check on any feedback of Club jiva as We wanted to check the credibility and goodwill of Club Jiva amongst their members/customers on cellphone internet or by calling our friends, who have similar memberships, however we could not get any mobile network at their Club Jiva sales office (we suspect after discussing with other victims that they had used cell phone jammers.) . Due to tremendous persuasion and Pestering and repeated forcefully offer from Club Jiva Employees/agents, we seem to have been Misled/misrepresented /cheated to take the club jiva membership, When we asked about what are their terms and conditions, they said there is no harm in paying first as they have a 30 days refund policy, wherein if a member is not satisfied, he can ask for full 100% refund of his membership amount. When we asked them to give it in writing, they informed us that first we should pay the money, and in the meanwhile, they are asking Kalpana Biswas (one Club Jiva employee) to type all these terms and conditions that they informed us and bring. We paid Rs. 140000 (Rs One Lakh Forty Thousand). We asked the documentation and after taking all our money, they gave us the agreement and asked us to sign it first as we have already paid the money and asked us to go through it afterwards once we reached our place. That is the first time we suspected and asked them to give all their commitments and promises in writing on email to us, which they said they would do next day, and we are going to get a welcome kit from their Mumbai Support office. After that we were informed the Gift option as B which is same Free Holiday option that Club Jiva gives for all the customers as usual, after only pretending the other gifts, in order to Lure and bring the people to their rented office where their Sales/Marketing team can fool them with all fake commitments and trap them in an unfair and illegal manner, and duping/cheating them of their hard earned money (and never fulfil any promises/commitments made earlier and illegally use their money as an investment amount in Club Jiva business sought by misrepresentation and unfair means. We came to know about their modus operandi in next 2-3 days. In evening when we reached our place, we checked their feedback and credibility on internet and we were shocked to know that Club Jiva has a very bad name and very bad reputation in the clubs and recreation market and we saw so many customer complaints available openly on the internet. Also, there were some thousand ruppes money and my handycam missing from my bag, which we suspect either employees /agents of Club Jiva have stolen... Because of coming to know the reality of Club Jiva and very bad reputation that this Club Jiva/ Holiday Kart pvt ltd has in the market, next day we went again to Sandalwood retreat and asked them to refund our entire amount, and return what they have stolen from us. They refused to refund our amount of Rs. 140000.00 at that time, and didn't accept the theft ? As we have been observing seeing all Club Jiva Victims, Club Jiva / Holiday Kart pvt ltd (Ananta Oorjaa venture) Support team has been continuously changing their statements every now and then, deviating from what was promised to us in the beginning, leaving us no option but to forcibly take a legal action on them. Thank God that you people as Tourists in Goa, escaped the clutches of Club Jiva without paying anything, For us we are still fighting a legal battle and complained in the police station in order to get back our hard earned money which they duped us with. The modus operandi of Club Jiva is to lure and bring people to their rented office, make people members, forcefully and wasting time (and theft of these new prospective member's belongings ) that’s too in a vacation. You also please file a police complaint on them, so that every rightful tourist coming to Goa on a vacation should not fall prey to Club Jiva, and get cheated ultimately... Goa tourism should also take an immediate action on this Club Jiva asap, please also file a complaint in http://www.goatourism.gov.in/ and send them your grievances on dir-tour.[protected]@nic.in, The Goa tourism after coming to know all these malpractices by club jiva would definitely take an action to ensure the safety of tourists, let's try to save the other innocent tourists at least...

It's already 19th November, and there is no trace of any refund till now. In fact none of your employees including yourself don't even pick the calls, nor are responding to any emails. Since I was asked by your company to mark my complaint on "consumercomplaints.in" as resolved?????

Under the circumstances, As per your companies own commitments, you have only 1-2 days time to process the refund, failing which we will be constrained to approach the court of laws under both civil and criminal laws and you and your companies shall be held entirely responsible for the cost and consequences thereof. All the necessary proofs would be presented to the honourable Court as well as police complaints would be immediately pursued.
Request to please close this in a decent way while we have some time.

Hello Consumer Complaints forum,
As per the discussions with club jiva member relations team, they don't force anyone to remain a member who doesn't have a genuine need of a timeshare membership and wants to disassociate, As we personally have many commitments and can't use their services because of time constraints, club jiva member relations team has allowed us to cancel the membership and currently processing the refund, hence I do not seem have any complaints against them, as long as entire refund is processed asap.

    False statements and very bad/pathetically poor service / Club Jiva / Holiday Kart Pvt Ltd giving all wrong information to attract members

    Its the biggest mistake that we were forced to take Clubjiva Membership and have paid them certain amount of Rs. 140, 000.00 upfront, but now I believe they are fraud and only changing their statements everytime and given all false statements. While getting my membership they were very attentive and well spoken but as soon as they got money everything just seems to be flipped.
    Looks like Even I've been cheated with Club Jiva. Please contact me at [protected].
    lets unite and fight with these scammers and cheaters...

    Even I also have got cheated by Club Jiva and Holiday Kart Pvt Ltd, lets all o[censored]s unite and fight for getting refund of our hard earned money.

      We visited Goa last month and we were caught by one of Club Jiva agents in Candolim, saying that I am so lucky that I got a gift and to bring that gift we have to go to the one of the resorts in Baga beach. The person who caught us did not give us a moment to think and immediately booked a taxi and took us to one of the resorts in baga beach. After reaching they said we have to attend some presentation of 1 hr. Unfortunately the presentation went for some 4 hrs and they tried to forcefully offer some timeshare that is their membership. when we said we are not prepared, as we have come for a holiday here, they started forcing us .At last after 4 hrs. they asked to scratch the card for gift, when I scratched I got ‘B’ as an option which was again a holiday voucher in one of the resorts with which club Jiva has tied up. This is really irritating, on a holiday. Misleading and taking us somewhere and then trying to sell their membership(which they never told before). One of their other agents again started to give us a scratch card in front of Fort Aguada the next day. If someone is interested in taking membership, he/she will contact their office or website. This is not the way to make people members, forcefully and wasting time that’s too in a vacation .

      The members sharing their concerns on unfair practices and fraudulent policies of Club Jiva / Holiday Kart Pvt.Ltd. / Vacation Concepts Private Limited / Ananta Oorjaa Entertainment Private Limited, are absolutely right. As per our observations, This club jiva / Holiday kart pvt ltd have no respect for law, they have no honest intention to provide services, and their motive is only to make unlawful money, under the pretext of selling complementary gift and concessional timeshare holiday packages etc.. This club / jiva modus operandi is to cheat innocent tourists and rob them of their precious vacation time as well as money, . In fact they don't own any single unit inside any resort / retreat in india. They are just taking 1-2 portions / units on rent, and that too these resorts give them the units which are slow moving and mostly vacant because their customers don't prefer these units, and the members never know whether they have mentioned Sub-letting in their agreements as well, we never know when the resorts (whom this club jiva foolishly calls as their home properties) stake holders may ask them to take a walk, for these reasons that they misrepresent while luring the tourists into taking memberships. As per ministry of tourism, to be able to float a timesharing vacation business, a company has to minimum own some property at least, i.e. at least own some units inside some resorts in India, however Club Jiva / holiday kart pvt ltd fails this criteria also, as they do not own even a single resort / property / even a room anywhere in india. They can abscond/run away closing their business anytime, as they don't own anything at all. AIRDA (All India Resort Development Association) is in the process of blacklisting club jiva/ holiday kart pvt ltd / Ananta Oorjaa Entertainment Private Limited / Vacation Concepts Private Limited, AS they have received innumerable complaints, and Ministry of Tourism is also looking into this case of club jiva/holiday kart pvt ltd.       Hi Deepak,

      I have faced a similar issue with Club Jiva. You can see the details below. I would like to take this up legally if possible, so that other customers don't fall for this. Would also like to get my membership fees back. Could you please let me know if your issue got resolved, and if so, how you went about it?

      We have paid Rs.33000 for 5 year alternate membership in Club Jiva, along with Rs.6000 as annual maintenance fee. We wanted to go to Nainital in November this year (2016), and gave a two months advance notice to Club Jiva via mail to their reservation id.

      After multiple email follow-ups and calls to Club Jiva's customer care, the only response we get is that Club Jiva is in discussion with the hotel management for reservation and I will get my confirmation "soon". Not once did any Club Jiva executive call me back or drop me a mail for any update.

      After 2-3 weeks of random assurances by call centre agents, I called up the Nainital hotel management directly. Got to know that no one from Club Jiva have contacted them for any room booking in November! In fact, the hotel has rooms available and can give immediate confirmation.

      Is this company completely fraud and does not want to give me a confirmation. Did they only want my membership fee while providing zero services? I think they expect me to forget the money because of all this hassle in getting a room.

      How can such an organization exist in India? Are there not legal ways to ensure such scams don't happen? This company seems to continue swindling customers of their money, despite so many complaints seen on consumer forums. Need a way out of this. I'm willing to take this up legally for my membership fees, and also as a social obligation to prevent other customers from falling in this trap.

        I have taken membership by paying initial amount of Rs.35, 000/= from Matheran Special promotion camp. Due to tremendous persuasion i have taken this decission, But once i came back to Mumbai and found that i wont be able to pay the installments, i immediately informed Club Jiva the very next day, and asked to cancel my membership and refund my money, i was made to hold on by some exective and told that she will speak to the company directors and get back, but after 15 days, after making continous follow-up the answer is negative. They are not ready to refund the money, i am planning to make police complaint and try all the means to get my hard earned money back. Thanking You Ragvendra Rao

I have got a written communication that my membership amount of Rs 35, 000/= would be refunded. I truly thank CLUB JIVA for taking up this matter and making a very positive move that has gained my confidence in CLUB JIVA. Sub : Cancellation of membership With reference to above I got registration on 25/3/2015 and my membership no. is CJ/BR/012 and cotract no. is 99130725 from Nizampura Branch, Vadodara (Guj.). and for this I have paid Rs.21, 000/- as membership fees vide receipt no.664. Now due to some personal problem, I had given letter for cancellation of my membership on 12/05/2015 to Mr. Freddy and his mobile no. is [protected]. Further I have given 3 cheques of Rs.3250/- each containing nos. 19328, 19329 and 19330 in the name of HOLIDAY KRAFT PVT. LTD. Out of these one cheq. of Rs.3, 250/- has been credited in your account on 30/05/2015. When my membership is cancelled on 12/05/2015, how can you deposit my cheq. in your account on 30/05/2015 ?             I have opted for Clubjiva Membership and have paid them certain amount but now I believe they are fraud and only giving false statements. While getting my membership they were very attentive and well spoken but as soon as they got money everything just seems to be flipped. So far I have experienced worst service and now they are not picking up calls nor replying on emails.             Still my complaint is not resolved. It stands there where it was before. Company is not even bothered to re check if my complaints are actually solved or not. No one taking follow up but its only me calling them again and again.

              Club Jiva is one of the big fraud company in India.. same excuse of silver jubilee celebration to attract GOA visitors...I have bought a package of 55k for 5 years... and paid 25k deposit and 7 EMIs till now... At the time of presentation they showed details of several big hotels like Ratan Haveli, Hotel Auli, Shimla, Kerala, Rajasthan, Kashmir.. And said that these hotels are part of there membership. DAE membership will come free with Club Jiva... But, now came to know that they have only 7-8 properties and that too in Goa, Banglore and Panchagani.. if we have to use any of the DAE hotels then we have to pay the exchange fees.. this would comes out to be 150-250 USD. like I could have easily done the bookings myself in their 7 properties with not more than 10-15k for 5-7 days. But, now I have to pay them 55K + maintenance fees of 5K every year.. + utility charges of the hotels ie 500-1500.. [censored]ing cheaters... These are biggest liers and will lodge a police complaint against these cheaters...

              Club Jiva was about to cheat me but I escaped, I didn't accept their offer but I want to take action because behavior of poor sales representative Aaren (hotel ‘La Calypso’, Goa) was not good when I denied.
              I got a call from Club Jiva. They are ready to refund my amount within 30 days after deducting 10% amount as administrative charge. I am OK with this but I lost 11000/- Rs and lots of tension in one month.

                  I was offered with club jiva membership during my holiday stay at Goa. I was informed that they have 33 resorts of their own and will not require any payment to be made except that annual maintenance fees. I was offered with blue membership with no difference with rest of two and will need 15 days notice period for booking. In case not satisfied can cancel the membership in look-in period. After reaching home, I went through their site which actually is already changed now found many ambiguities. I lodge a complaint and asked them to cancel my membership but initially they didn't respond but now they say we never made any promise and they is no cancellation policy. Can you please help me to retrieve my money from them.

                  The comolaint was never resolved. They alwsys fool around to avoid the refund. I had never used their serviced, still somehow they are able to post a review as if I had used thrir service. Big cheaters, plesse don't get traplef.

                    You are very lucky and got escaped with small amount. I am stuck with them too and have written many mails but no satisfactory answered is given. What they promised is all false. They are big cheat. I had asked them for government agency for lodging complaint, but they have stopped replying. In fact they are refusing that they have not made any promise. To us they said they have 33 resort of their own and are completely free but now they refused that they never said anything like that. They are not accepting look in period statement also. They also said that a blue member had to inform 15 days only in advance but now they are not even talking about that. I will be on this site if any legal action against such cheater, I will also join you. Presently just plan to put it on different web sites so that they don't cheat others.

                    I was cheated by these ****ing ****les. They are the best liers in the world might be.. same excuse of silver jubilee celebration to attract GOA visitors...I have bought a package of 55k for 5 years... and paid 25k deposit and 7 EMIs till now... At the time of presentation they showed brochure of several big hotels like Ratan Haveli, Hotel Auli, Shimla, Kerala, Rajasthan, Kashmir.. And said that these hotels are part of there membership. DAE membership will come free with Club Jiva... But, now came to know that they have only 7-8 properties and that too in Goa, Banglore and panchagani.. if we have to use any of the DAE hotels then have to pay the exchange fees.. this would comes out to be 150-250 USD. like I could have easily done the bookings myself in their 7 properties with not more than 10k for 5-7 days. But, now I have to pay them 55K + 12 EMIs of 2.5K + maintenance fees of 5K every year.. + utility charges of the hotels ie 500-1500 daily.. [censored]ing cheaters... These are biggest liers and will lodge a police complaint against these cheaters...

                      I am one of the victims of the Travel and Holiday package membership organizations. I have taken membership from Club Jiva, Goa in the month of Aug 2014. I have paid more than Rs.50, 000 for the same. On promise that I will have a 5 year membership where in I can enjoy vacation bookings in a chain of hotels from Club Jiva and I dont have to pay anything other than a nominal yearly Maintenance fee of around Rs 5, 000 Per year. Now when I am trying to book a vacation thru them. They are asking me to pay a hefty Rs, 16, 000 for a 5 day booking, which they say is for maintenance and utility charges. When I check online. I can book my required hotels directly with the hotels for a much lesser price then their membership cost/per year and what ever amount they are asking me to pay now. That too.. The kind of support I get from them is ridiculous. For every clarification I ask, I have to wait and wait for number of days. In a prospering country like India, where in Travel and Tourism holds a major part of economy, these kind of organizations and agents are a big blow both the people who are falling to their prey and false marketing mechanisms and promises. A very strict and timely action should be taken against the same.

                      I have also been cheated by these people when i was in Goa. I have paid Rs. 140, 000.00 for a 25 year Alternate Membership, however whatever they promised or committed upon is all False. While giving presentation to us, Shruti and Melville from Club Jiva Marketing team, gave us a list (xerox copy) of 77 IRA list of resorts, where-in they clearly informed us that once we
                      pay Rs. 140, 000.00 upfront, there is no need for us to pay anything else While utilizing our holiday week in any of the 77 IRA list of resorts plus the own Home Properties of Club Jiva, other than the maintenance amount of Rs. 4900.00 once in 2 years, however now they send a Club Jiva resort list wherein they mentioned that *Utility charges applicable, which we need to pay a tariff per day, They also promised us DAE Gold Advantage card valid from 2016 (day of activation) till 25 years, which now they say that we are going to get the DAE Gold Advantage card valid for only 1 year. Online the fees for 3 year validity of DAE Gold Advantage card is USD 142, Which anyone o[censored]s can pay online and purchase, so what is the need for us to go through them ?

                      If I do not get the resolution within 1 day, we would have to file a legal case of FRAUD CASE, and also LODGE A Police Complaint against them U/S IPC 420 and other IPC's.

                      They have also cheated me in the DAE, When i booked the membership they told me that with Club Jiva for 5 years, I also get 5 years of DAE GOLD membership. Later when i checked I have been given DAE only for 2 years.


                      Again i raised the issue with Kalpana, Club Jiva in Goa and then they denied priomising me fie years. After a long struggle and battle somehow managed to get it extended for 5 years, But that also is not confirmed so far.

                      BIGGEST CHEATING is the IRA property, When they sell they told that IRA properties in India comes at no additional cost and only when we can to exchange we have to go with DAE...

                      While booking their Utility charges is more than the room rent if we book it through Cleartrip etc etc.

                      Club Jiva has done enough Cheating, , , I must have read these complaints before i made the purchase, , Its a lesson learnt ..
                      Club Jiva is a fraud company which ropes in unsuspecting victims with a scratch card offering TV, iPad etc as prizes. They ask you to come to a hotel for collecting the prize. When you (victim) reaches the hotel, they show you a hotel property promo sing vacation stay with their tied up hotels across India. Further they say that You have to buy their timeshare only then you are entlrled to scratch the card. On enquiry we were told that the prize is nothing else but a discount on charges for vacation stay. I suspect it is all to draw you to paying for vacation timeshare. This is the way they trap you into paying huge amount for buying timeshare. They also take details of your credit card etc. Please be careful while you accept their offer for avprizecin the first place.

                      Looks like Club Jiva now started working and they are looking into consumer complaints after much followup. I would suggest contact them and check to resolve issue. I called them multiple times and now they are looking in my case and Hope they resolve it ASAP. I have to thanks Simi Mam who is in customer care and helping me. Thanks a lot.

                      I am really frustrated to get some ridiculous customer service from these fellows year after year charging big sums and really least bothered about the customers.

                      Such organizations should be blasted out from India. Did any one got your refund back from ClubJiva.

                      The modus operandi of Club Jiva is to lure and bring people to their rented office, make people members, forcefully and wasting time that’s too in a vacation. A very strict and timely action should be taken by the local authorities against them in order to save the other innocent tourists. I am also one of the victims of this fraud and struggling for my refund.
                      Dear All, I also cheated by Club Jiva / Holiday Kart pvt ltd in Nanital, i invest Rs 20000 now i want to refund

                      Reason why i want my money back and refuse to take membership:-

                      1) CLUB JIVA member said for meal, cab and other services will be given by mentioned hotel, but listed hotel denied
                      2) 18 days have passed but NO membership card i received even not a single welcome message yet from CLUB JIVA side.
                      3) Hotel said they are fraud, i here from Mainali hotel that is in his list
                      4) They provide member ship type BLUE, which is off season membership, this was not disclosed at time of meeting.
                      5) They said refund your money any time but when i mailed him, i got reply of no refund from CLUB JIVA side
                      6) Only one hotel said that we can use club, and all hotel denied which are in list, but members in meeting promised us to provide us all services of hotel
                      7) i received one booklet in that point number 12 is changed, its mention that any time you refund money but after taking membership point is changed and said nonrefundable in booklet
                      8) Company is not more than 5 years but members said it is more than 10 years in market.
                      9) Member said they owning 35 hotels and LACALYPSO hotel one of them, that is false
                      10) Hotel said extra utility charges are paid, but this was not mentioned at the time of joining
                      11) Lots of facility they promises for us, that will also need to share that all are false information

                      There is no reason to join CLUB JIVA so please refund my money.
                      I mailed him many time but they said its non refundable

                        Hello sir / madam, I have visited hotel millennium park in panchgani and sales executive Aditya Singh ([protected]) explained me about membership.  That time I have deposited 2000rs to block the deal. They assured that if I am not satisfied and cancel the decision of membership they will refund whole amount. I have already spoken to Aditya singh on 24th April and forwarded my details but no deposit in my account till date.  And now he is not accepting my calls also.So please help me.

                        Hi All;

                        I also got conned by this ClubJiva people, During our stay at Mahabaleshwar and Panchgani, Maharashtra on 1st-4th May 2015. We got invited by clubjiva hotel Millennium Park, Panchgani as part of promotions and holiday package membership.

                        There, their sales executive Aditya (Mobile no.[protected] explained us the package and pursued us to take membership.

                        After hearing details, myself and my wife were not feeling the need to take membership at present due to our financial
                        Obligations. Then this Club Jiva Guy Aditya suggested that we book 2000 RS.amount just as initial and decide later for membership, this amount will be refunded.

                        Later we informed him that we would not be taking membership for now and may think about it in future. We requested him to reimburse our 2000 Rs. amount. For which, He asked our bank account details and refunding will be done.

                        We provided the same on SMS. However, yet to get back our money and still chasing Aditya, He is not responding at all.

                        Later I wrote to "[protected]@clubjiva.in" 3-4 times, every time it gives instant reply that my call will be attended shortly but it never happens.

                        Now frustated, I am planning to go legal against this fraud.

                        I took one membership from goa this week. They had told that 16 resorts in india would be absolutely free for 1 week, which is a free week. In the agreement it says 4 locations. I asked the person who convinced us into this by message and she replied that i would get an email conforming this and yet no email. Pls help if anyone found a way out of this. Or else if we need to go legally, lets do it

I have been trying to contact them for last more than one year and sent several reminder mails but is of no use. This is purely fraud group and i am looking for the owner details so that can lodge complaint in consumer court against them.
                        It me request and appeal to all viewers that in case of any details found please share so that we approach proper legal authorities for getting our refund.

                        I to bought a membership of Club Jiva, matheran in October. As you are saying such bad about them, i never encountered such problem. Infact i utilised their membership to go to USA. I stayed in Sheraton Vistana in Orlando and Wyndham smokey mountains in Tenessee. Infact i would never have dared to stay in such properties if i were not a member.

                        Earlier I use to stay in budget hotels with my family. After taking club jiva membership from rohit I have taken 3 holidays in one year all holidays we stayed in luxury resorts .

                        We went first to Jaipur stayed at lemon tree hotel. Very nice hotel good location, my daughter liked it.

                        Second holiday in millennium park panchgani. My daughter Sara enjoyed there toy train which they have in the resort and amusement park rides was awesome even me and my wife enjoyed a lot.

                        Third holiday we took in sandalwood in august resort is cute and nicely maintained. We went to their beach which was like a private beach 2 mins walking . This beach was not crowded like other beaches in goa. My daughter loved the beach because she saw it for the first time. Room had kitchen too which was a great help.

                        I thank Mr. Rohit balyan for suggesting us the right family ownership for me. These holidays would have not been perfect if you didn't had recommended us.

                        We have been your new members of club Jiva where in matheran we swiped membership Fee of rs. 1, 65, 000/- on the spot. But we were not aware about the bad service which we may get from you.

                        This is a Chor Club, There are 4 to 5 donkeys sitting in La - Calypso hotel business centre room thinking who will pay them 2 lacks.

                        These cheater cocks have identified boys with bikes around Baga and Calangute beaches, they will target parents with children who are easy to con them.

                        They will showcase some stupid lottery kind of coupon, they will congratulate for winning and slowly take you to La Calypso hotel for presentation. They will try to talk all positive things about you, Praise you, Praise all things of area that you come from, try to become closer to you.

                        They try to show hotel La - Calypso, stating hotel belongs to them. Which is not True. I think Manager of the hotel is also involved in this Scam.

                        After listening for 2 hours of Garbage stuff, I thought this is fooling around. Decided to stay away.

                        In between presentation there will be surprise visitor Samantha Probably name changed, This fatty says you have to decide today itself. She seem to be one of the senior most chor's, She changed name to Samantha, Looks like some gully ka girl.

                        Sometimes in these blogs they themselves post that they stayed in America using this membership, I checked with those hotels, they don't even know this club membership.

                        They wasted my precious 2 hours of holiday time. Hopefully somebody also cheats them big time, They deserve a bad treatment.

                        Hi, we took club jiva membership on 31st July 2015. We took it for25 years plan along with DAE membership. As they promise they will give us I'd password for DAE within 1 month, its being 4 months despite of my continuous follow up no reply from them. I am just getting promise nothing else. For booking at their own properties also they don't bother to reply for our online booking. There are many issues with customer care. Only one lady operates customer care from Bombay as if now. Her contact no is either busy or she doesn't pick up phone even in their mentioned office time also. I took follow up with Goa branch manager again some fake promises from her side. I confirmed with her as a professional thing that can I call you in future if I don't hear anything about my I'd password, she said yes. When I called her next time she said it's not customer care no. I have raised request for my Dec 2015 booking at Goa but still no confirmation from them. I have invested huge amount in Club Jiva. Please guide me what legal actions are required from my side to get my lakhs of INR back. Club Jiva seems to be fake. Thanks. Will wait for your reply. They are a big cheat.We came across an agent of club jiva at Dona Paula during our visit, who tried to lure by offering gift cards to us. Me and my wife strictly refused to accept the cards. But the agent convinced my 10 yr.old daughter to try her luck and scratch the card. When she scratched a card, it reflected that she had won a gift out of the four gifts mentioned on that card (a free holiday / an LED T.V. / an I-pad / a cash prize of 10000/-). The agent told us that we are only required to visit 'SANDALWOOD HOTEL RETREAT resort and collect the gift. However we refused his offer and left the place. But he kept following us and finally stopped us and said that it is just a part of the promotion of the resort, so that we can visit the resort, have a look at it and recommend it to others. He pleaded that he was a poor man and he would be getting Rs 100/- if we visited the resort once. We got emotional and went to the resort with him.At the resort we were asked to fill up a form and asked to attend a presentation of less than an hour ; which actually lasted for more than 3 hours !!! During the presentation the sales executive, Mr. Arpit Srivastava and his senior, briefed to us regarding a 25 yr . membership programme of club jiva, to which we strictly refused. When they found me and my wife adamant on our decision, they offered to us a 3 yr. membership programme, costing 45000/- plus alternate year maintenance fee of 4900/-. They made several high, high and high promises to us, and presented before us a long list of resorts of club jiva and its tie ups. They told us that apart from the membership fee and maintenance fee, we would not be required to pay a single penny for staying at any of these resorts. Still we were not convinced and said that we were not in a position to pay 45000/- at that moment.To this, the sales team over there came up with another offer of an interest free 12 EMIs on CITIBANK credit card, and said that I would be required to pay only 12 EMIs of 3750/- (3750/- x12= 45000/-) and no other charges.They also offered two free of cost complimentary holidays with the membership.Somehow, we thought of trying the 3 yr membership programme and availed the membership by using my credit card... Please note that during all this my daughter kept on asking for the free gift that was mentioned on the scratch card, but she was not given.
                        When the membership document came before us, it had lot many deviations from what was promised to us. And the Relationship manager, Ms. Kalpana Biswas was in a big haste to get it signed, before we could read it carefully.
                        Finally we signed the membership, and demanded for the list of resorts, so that we can plan our next vacation. But it was not provided to us at the spot and was to confirmed to us that the updated list of resorts would be mailed to me on the very next day.
                        Before leaving the place when we demanded for the free gift, a holiday coupon was provided to us, which was not FREE OF COST, as stated in the card. It had a clause of paying 500/- per person, per night for the stay !!!

                        After 3-4 days, I checked my mail, but the list of resorts was not mailed to me, as promised. When I requested for the same, it was sent to me, and I was surprised to see that most of the resorts have UTILITY CHARGES applicable on them. When enquired, no reply was sent to me, untill I mailed again after a gap of a week.
                        The mail that I finally got from Ms. Swati of club jiva states that I am required to pay utility charges ranging from 750/- to 1500/- for staying at most of the resorts !!!

                        Another news came to me as a surprise when I was charged 15% extra for making the payment of membership fee of club jiva through my credit card, and as confirmed by the bank it has been charged by the merchant i, e CLUB JIVA !!

                        I mailed to club jiva regarding all this, and asked them to go ahead for the cancellation of my membership. Its more than a week again but I have not received any mail from there end.

                        I have decided to approach the consumer court, and have already spoken to my lawyer to deal with these people.
                        As a responsible citizen, I felt it is very important to warn the people against such kind of frauds and also initiate the legal actions against them so that nobody gets trapped by them in future.

                        This people had approached me during my stay in mount abu and made lots of promise on free stay in big big 5 star hotels, but during whole discussion i stayed with my decision to not to join this club and left the seminar immediately after 1 hour. They are big cheaters don't trust them. Nowadays there are many options available to plan your holidays better. Try searching online before attending this kind of seminars.
                        i was approached by this clubjiva team during my stay in abu and tried to trapped me to attend their seminar on holidays. Since beginning of that seminar i mad a decision to not to join this club and not to pay single rupees. after an hour of discussion they wants me check their properties and join the club for which i have to pay 4900 rs every as maintenance fee + membership fee, but i left immediately.

                        Nowadays lot of online options are available to plan and book your holidays effectively both in terms of price and quality. try those and stay safe from this frauds.
                        Hi, The fraud happened to me and my husband also. We went to visit Goa recently in November-2015, and we were caught by Club Jiva agents in Dona Paula on 9th November-2015, saying that we are so lucky that we got a gift and to bring that gift we have to go to the one of their own resorts which is Sandalwood Hotel & Retreat Vainguinim Beach, Dona Paula, Panjim, Goa. the people who caught us did not give us a moment to think and immediately asked us to follow them on their bike.(WE had also rented a scooter) . . Once we reached there, these Club Jiva employees made us sit for 30 minutes and in the meanwhile asked us to show our ID Proof & Credit Cards that we have and asked us all our personal information on how much limit do we have in these credit cards. Then took the Xerox copies of my Pan Card and all Credit cards that we had and they told us that it is important for them to take these copies to give the Gift. After that they said we have to attend some presentation of 1 hr. however Unfortunately the presentation went for some 3.5 hrs. Then they brought some other employees of Club Jiva, and these three employees took back our gift card first without scratching the options on it and then took us to one another office room inside the same Sandalwood Retreat to give us Presentation on Club Jiva, and during that time, Their 3 Sales Agents i.e. Arpit Srivastva, Rishi Thakur, Shruti Pandey, from Club Jiva Marketing team, gave us a booklet and list (Xerox copy) of 77 IRA list of resorts, where-in they repeatedly informed us that once we pay the entire amount, and the maintenance amount of Rs. 5500 once in 2 years, there is no need for us to pay anything else While utilizing our holiday week in any of the 77 IRA list of resorts plus the 8 own Home Properties of Club Jiva (Which Club Jiva employees informed that these 8 resorts completely belong to them for a lease of 99 years), plus 2 hotels/resorts in Switzerland. Also, one another commitment was given to us that if we become a Club Jiva member we shall receive the DAE Gold Advantage card valid from 2016 (day of activation) till 25 years. And additionally they also promised us that in Bangalore, we would get the 25 years membership of The Club (Mysore Road) Bangalore, valid from 2016 (day of activation) till 25 years, and we need not pay anything for it. We wanted to check on any feedback of Club jiva as We wanted to check the credibility and goodwill of Club Jiva amongst their members/customers on cellphone internet or by calling our friends, who have similar memberships, however we could not get any mobile network at their Club Jiva sales office (we suspect after discussing with other victims that they had used cell phone jammers, and mixed sedatives / suspicious chemical in water and coffee.) . Due to tremendous persuasion and Pestering and repeated forcefully offer from Club Jiva Employees/agents, we seem to have been Misled/misrepresented /cheated to take the club jiva membership, When we asked about what are their terms and conditions, they said there is no harm in paying first as they have a 30 days refund policy, wherein if a member is not satisfied, he can ask for full 100% refund of his membership amount. When we asked them to give it in writing, they informed us that first we should pay the money, and in the meanwhile, they are asking Kalpana J Biswas (one Club Jiva employee) to type all these terms and conditions that they informed us and bring. We paid 30, 000 rs. We asked the documentation and after taking all our money, they gave us the agreement and asked us to sign it first as we have already paid the money and asked us to go through it afterwards once we reached our place. That is the first time we suspected and asked them to give all their commitments and promises in writing on email to us, which they said they would do next day, and we are going to get a welcome kit from their Mumbai Support office. After that we were informed the Gift option as B which is same Free Holiday option that Club Jiva gives for all the customers as usual, after only pretending the other gifts, in order to Lure and bring the people to their rented office where their Sales/Marketing team can fool them with all fake commitments and trap them in an unfair and illegal manner, and duping/cheating them of their hard earned money (and never fulfil any promises/commitments made earlier and illegally use their money as an investment amount in Club Jiva business sought by misrepresentation and unfair means. We came to know about their modus operandi just next day. In evening when we reached our place, we checked their feedback and credibility on internet and we were shocked to know that Club Jiva has a very bad name and very bad reputation in the clubs and recreation market and we saw so many customer complaints available openly on the internet. Also, there were some thousand rupees money. Because of coming to know the reality of Club Jiva and very bad reputation that this Club Jiva/ Holiday Kart pvt ltd has in the market, next day we went again to Sandalwood retreat and asked them to refund our entire amount, They refused to refund our amount at that time, and didn't accept the fraud ? As we have been observing seeing all Club Jiva Victims, Club Jiva / Holiday Kart pvt ltd Support team has been continuously changing their statements every now and then, and are no longer responding to any calls or emails, after deviating from what was promised to us in the beginning, leaving us no option but to forcibly take a legal action on them. Thank God that some of you people as Tourists in Goa, escaped the clutches of Club Jiva without paying anything, For us we are still fighting a legal battle and complained in the police station in order to get back our hard earned money which they duped us with. The modus operandi of Club Jiva is to lure and bring people to their rented office, make people members, forcefully and wasting time that’s too in a vacation. We need the refund our entire amount. You also please file a police complaint on them, so that every rightful tourist coming to Goa on a vacation should not fall prey to Club Jiva, and get cheated ultimately... Goa tourism should also take an immediate action on this Club Jiva asap, please also file a complaint in http://www.goatourism.gov.in/ and send them your grievances on dir-tour.[protected]@nic.in, The Goa tourism after coming to know all these malpractices by club jiva would definitely take an action to ensure the safety of tourists, let's try to save the other innocent tourists at least...

                        We filed a case against them in panjim where Ms Rashmi helped us and raided there office in Dona Paula. All the persons including kalpana Biswas, Rishi Thakur and Fernandis were brought to police station and they give us in writing that they refund our entire amount in 10 working days. But still no refund.
                        I was on vacation for my first marriage anniversary in Goa on 05-Mar-2016. I was approached by an agent named Abhijeet near Baga beach on 05-MAR-2016 claiming to give gift scratch cards on celebration of 5th anniversary of La Calypso hotel. We were informed by Abhijeet that La Calypso hotel has completed 5 years and we have to visit the facilities for 1 hour in order to claim the gift.

                        Upon opening the gift card, I won one of the four gifts, an iPad, an LED TV, 10k in cash or a paid vacation. All we had to do was to attend a 1 hour orientation session at La Calypso Hotel, Baga so that facilities could be demonstrated to us by La Calypso hotel authorities.

                        We were asked to show ID Proof and Credit Card to claim the gift. When we asked why credit card is required, Mr. Abhijeet mentioned that the same is required for the Visa/Mastercard team for debiting the gift amount to the Bank with which we hold our credit Card and that his team has tied up with few major banks.

                        The receptionist has checked the id proof and credit card details and upon which we were allowed to attend the presentation strictly for 1 hour.

                        After we stepped into the meeting hall of La Calypso hotel, we were introduced to a Sales agent named Prathmesh and took 3 hour discussion even though we told that we need to have lunch and pleaded to finish off the presentation in 1 hour. We came to know only at the end of 2.5 hours that Club Jiva wants us to buy membership and offer is valid only on 05-Mar only for the fifth year celebration Very lately, we realized that the company was incorporated in 2013

                        We were given a false picture that the Club Jiva membership which would entitle us to cheap accommodation in 5-Star properties across the world.

                        Finally with the misrepresentation and false commitments, we were sold a membership of Rs90000 for a tenure of 25 years. After paying up the complete amount, I could find the receptionist opening up gift card instead of the persons from Mastercard/Visa and we were surprised and shocked.

                        After reaching our Sterling resort, we enquired about the tie up with Club Jiva and sterling authorities denied such relationship as it is a Privately owned property. We enquired our friend who is a member of sterling regarding the same and the sterling representative assigned to my friend confirmed that no such tie up was with club Jiva.

                        We have realised that we were cheated by club Jiva in a professional way and our first marriage anniversary was spoiled.

                        We lost trust and interest with Club Jiva and please refund our amount of Rs.90000 for the below misrepresenation and cheating.

                        1) Misrepresentation of anniversary function date and number of years of completion.
                        2) Misrepresentation of data such as owning 32 resorts and La Calypso Hotel.
                        3) Misrepresentation of promotion from Visa/Mastercard.
                        4) Misrepresentation of fake people from Visa/Mastercard to provide gifts.
                        5) Misrepresentation of tie ups with the major hotels.
                        6) Misrepresentation of providing information that facilities of La Calypso hotel will be shown

                        Its an unethical behavior towards us. I need refund of my amount immediately

                        The club jiva guys is very fraud guys. When i registered i have raise cancel request within 24hr for cancellation membership and refund my amount.

                        I have raised request [protected]@clubjiva.In and [protected]@clubjiva.In 3-4times. But there no response from there side. I have called to club jiva they told me our person call you and sort the issue.

                        Also there support guys told the membership is not refundable that time i am very tens from club jiva. If you have purchase or register any membership there is refund option is available mean the costumer not happy with this guys or organization. They cancel the all services and refund his amount back.

                        when I went to Mount Abu on 25th Dec 2015 one of Club Jiva official had ask to take one gift voucher and also ask us to show our DOB proof and VIsa or Master bank card for calming the gift, Post showing both the require things they ask us U can scratch the gift card but not on that place ( On the road ) but they ask us you need to attend small seminar that will run near by 40 to 45 minutes. so we said ok and we went to the place ( Hotel) and one of your official (Edward ) has came to us and explain about the holiday details it took almost 2 to 3 hrs.

                        Post completion of above activity Jiva official has asked that this membership ideally we are offering for 3 Lakh for 25 Years but due to some offer we are giving this for 1.6 Lakh for 25 years . it sounds good I said ok but I said dont have that much amount to Pay to you Then he said I[censored] have credit card you can swipe that and convert amount in to EMI and said what ever will be Interest we will adjust the same in our membership and said there will be Rs 20000/- Interest you need to Pay more and they have offered me this membership for Rs 1, 40, 000/- I immediate paid Rs 50, 000/- to Jiva to Mr Niband Pawar ( Nibandh Pawar No [protected])he has signed all the documents on behalf of Jiva and Thay have Given me the membership documents, For rest amount ( Rs 90, 000) they told me that they will ask some one to Visit my Residence which is in Borivali East Devipada Mumbai:- and said Our office at Jogeshwari.

                        When I came back to Mumbai I have checked that for Rs 140000/- Loan I have to pay Rs 56000/- interest which is not affordable for me so I had spoken with Mr Niband Pawar, he has assure that will have call for you and will ensure there will not be any additional charges you have to bare. every alternate day I am giving him a reminder on the same stating that still nobody has called me for Membership and answer from him is always same that he has already informed at Head office that is in Jogeshwari but nobody is calling me again, this continually happens for many days.

                        After few days Mr Nibandh Pawar has met me and said he will revised my plan to 5 years on Same amount which I had already Paid to Him that is for 5 years.I said ok and in few days on mail I have received the mail on revised plan as I had plan to go for vacation to use my Membership I found I have still not received my Membership Card and user ID and Password for registration, I following with then since last Dec 2015 but till date due to wrong commitment I have received nothing .

                        Reason why i want my money back and refuse to take membership:-

                        1) CLUB JIVA member said for meal, cab and other services will be given by mentioned hotel, but listed hotel denied
                        2) 18 days have passed but NO membership card i received even not a single welcome message yet from CLUB JIVA side.
                        3) Hotel said they are fraud, i here from Mainali hotel that is in his list
                        4) They provide member ship type BLUE, which is off season membership, this was not disclosed at time of meeting.
                        5) They said refund your money any time but when i mailed him, i got reply of no refund from CLUB JIVA side
                        6) Only one hotel said that we can use club, and all hotel denied which are in list, but members in meeting promised us to provide us all services of hotel
                        7) i received one booklet in that point number 12 is changed, its mention that any time you refund money but after taking membership point is changed and said nonrefundable in booklet
                        8) Company is not more than 5 years but members said it is more than 10 years in market.
                        9) Member said they owning 35 hotels and LACALYPSO hotel one of them, that is false
                        10) Hotel said extra utility charges are paid, but this was not mentioned at the time of joining
                        11) Lots of facility they promises for us, that will also need to share that all are false information

                        There is no reason to join CLUB JIVA so please refund my money.

                        Hi,

                        Same happen to me at Mahabaleshwar ... on 25th November.. let come together and close this Club Jiva. Even no proper support or

                        answer from Jiva.

                        Log a FIR with Police station about same.. I am alos doing same. I also logged a complaint on

                        this portal but no use.. see below..

                        Like all the people who have mentioned that they have been duped by Club Jiva, I was also almost duped by these thugs.

                        On Dec 24th, outside Newton Store (Near Candolim Beach) a man in his early 50's stopped me and told me about a promotional campaign where people are distributing free gifts... All I had to do was to visit the hotel and collect the gift... Upon reaching the hotel, a manager came to me and informed that I had to attend a presentation for an hour and post that will get the gift... There we were asked for our ID proofs and Credit Card and was introduced to a lady named Nita... She took us through the presentation and was kept asking us to have a coffee (Thank GOD I refused it) and even after asking about the price related to the membership, she didn't disclose it until 2 hours... Then a Manager came (Samantha) and told us about the package... I refused it and mentioned that I can't afford it right now... She kept on coming back with different options and asked me to submit 17000 and pay 45000 via credit card with interest free installments... I refused and then she became Rude... I really want to Thank SAMANTHA for being rude as if she wouldn't have been rude, I would have gone ahead with it...
                        Also, would like to request the regulatory authorities to take strict action against these cons to ensure people are not losing their hard earned money

                        I hold membership CJ/GT/B/C201 with you, want cancellation & refund of the same. It was not an donation for your information rather an investment for my holidays done during 2015. Since then several time requested for booking and so on none was accepted from you with excuse saying blue membership & your are not eligible.

                        Here all of these people are complaining of your services and want to lodge a complaint.

                        his is ridiculous organisation with fraud and miss-leading people with false promises.

                        Without proving further bad image of your firm refund my full amount 50, 000 rupees.

                          Hello, I have paid initial amount to Holiday Kart a timeshare company of Club Jiva, and they are not issuing me the travel vouchers nor they are cancelling and refunding back my amount. Hence I would like to take strict action against them so that others can be aware of such bluff company
                          Club Jiva customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.
                          Hello Dipesh, Club Jiva (holiday kart) is a fraud company...they fooled me too! I paid 55K for 1 year.!
