AIRCEL CELLULAR PREPAID — LOST MONEY ON PREPAID

LAST MONTH I PURCHASED A PREPAID CARD TO TOP UP MY AIRCEL CARD. THE SHOPKEEPER TOLD ME THAT THERE IS A OFFER THAT IF I USE THE RECHARGE CARD TO TOP UP FOR 330, THEN I WILL GET FULL MONEY TOPPED UP. I INSISTED ON HIM THRICE ABOUT THE OFFER AND HE WAS SO CONFIDENT ABOUT IT. LATER WHEN I ENTERED THE PIN, MY ACCOUNT WAS TOPPED UP ONLY FOR 160 RUPEES. SHOCKED. SINCE I WAS AT THE SAME SPOT IN HIS SHOP, I ASKED HIM ABOUT IT. BUT THE SHOP OWNER SAID THAT THE OFFER WAS CLOSED YESTERDAY. HE TOLD US TO ASK THE AIRCEL. BUT AS USUAL NO RESPONSE. I NEED TO TAKE SOME ACTIONS ON THESE KIND OF OFFERS PROVIDED BY AIRCEL WHERE THEY ALLOW THE NORMAL CARDS TO BE USED FOR OFFER SCHEMES AND THE SHOP WHICH CHEATED ME. CAN ANYONE HELP?

Tried the aircel service contact numbers from the morning, they kept on passing it to others by giving different phone numbers, it’s really irritating. I also tried to use the feedback form from you website and it’s also not working.

Finally mailing for you to act fast. It should have been lost between yesterday(11th may 2009) night and today morning while travelling from SriRangam to Chennai via Vizhupuram by Bus. well have you checked your balance, hope there isn’t anything outstanding, this might be one reason or to figure it out just call the Customer care.
