[Resolved]  Airtel — Airtel - Money not refunded yet on FAILURE of service

I am writing this to complain on the airtel services and the irresponsible behaviour of the airtel staffs.

I applied for an airtel broadband connection about three months ago. I called up this number [protected] and a person explained about the tariff plans.

I chose the plan where I have to pay Rs.5000 for 5 months which gives a free usage for the sixth month inclusive of a wifi modem.

The very next moment a person came and asked to fill in the form and collected the money. His number is [protected].

After that they never responded for a long time and I was not able to reach them either. Then one day when I was able to get them over the phone they said it is not possible to give a broadband connection in my area as the allocated bandwidth for my area is already filled.

So I asked them to cancel my application and refund the money.

As per my request the application was cancelled on March 23rd - 2013.

They said the money will be refunded through check to my address within 2 weeks time.

The two weeks is long gone and still I dint get my money back.

If I call those two numbers about it they say it will be refunded within two or three days everytime but I really lost hope in them and decided to complain about it.

The manager who spoke to me claims to be Prakash from the Kodambakkam branch. I don't know how far it is true.

He is too lethargic in his reply and he doesnt seem to care about anything I tell him.

I am very very unhappy about this whole incedent and regret calling airtel for a broadband connection.

I would like you to take this complaint very seriously and get my money back as soon as possible.

Bharti Airtel — Refund of our money.

We had booked our new broadband connection (Receipt No- 420014) on 26/10/2008. Each and every formality was copmpleted accordingly.We Had even given initial payment of Rs.800.
But due to certain personal reasons, on 26/10/2008 only we cancelled our broadband connection.They told us that it will take about 45 days for cancellation processing.Our payment will be refunded within 45 days only.
But 5 months had almost passed there is no reimbursement of our money.We had even gone to the office(where we had booked)not once but 10 to 15 times but we havn't got any proper response. The customer service is really very poor, they are not at all concerned about it (only show interest initially when to launch or provide new schemes or new connections) but not bothered about after services.
Kindly, look into the matter .

Airtel — poor service and not refunding the money back

hi,
i m monil shah and a customer of airtel. my mobile no. is [protected] .due to some airtel fault rs .30 were deducted from my airtel balance without any reason on 7/08/09 . i called airtel customer service nd asked for the refund but than they told that i will get in 48 hours. but the refund was not made, my coplain no. is 104809 than i conacted airtel consumer service again bt they delayed and kept delaying it.Today 20 days are over but they are not refunding me the money back. PLEASE take a strict action against AIRTEL COMPANY .
Please do the needful.

Bharti Airtel — Not yet refunded my MONEY

I applied for a Broadbaand Connection from Airtel on 21-Feb-2010 but unfortunately they could not provide us the connection due to some technical issues and these people agreed to refund the installation charges i.e. Rs.1000/- within a weeks time and now it has been more than a months time I have not yet recieved the amount. When I tried contacting the Airtel people there was not even a single person who actually wanted to take the ownership of my issue. I spoke to people like Arun, Hemanth, Gopal etc.. All these people only promised to refund but no one has yet refunded...
So I kindly request you to take a suitable action against this company. I strongly believe CONSUMER FORUM will definitely help me.........

Bharti Airtel — service

i have prepaid connection[protected].i subscribed for a week pack of 40 on 9th march2010.the same day the server had stopped the service.why? I don't know.i tried about 20 times to customer servce,but they disconnect with out answering.pl help me to continue my airtelmobiletv weekpack or return my payments .i shall be highly thankful to you sir.

AirTel — money is not refund

My mobile no is [protected].On 10th april I registered a complaint for refunding my money Rs. 35 then no reply from airtel again i registered a complaint (complaint no. [protected]) then no solution come from them.
our work is post complain and your no resolution to any complain and lastime you will be delet and throw in dustbin box nobady con beleave on your service but human being is nature to do complain, might is right funda using all company .bipin kumar singh

AirTel — not get refund of money

sir,i've paid rs. 100 for my aitel dth recharge but it was not successful and a massage came on my mobile that my amt wa credited in my account.But there is no credit balance of 100 rs..my order no is 5275448.i've paid on paytm.com.
THIS ISSUE IS NOT RESOLVED YET!!! AND HOW CAN YOU SAY IT IS RESOLVED? I NEED YOU TO ACTION ASAP. YOUR CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS BIG TIME. IN FAILURE OF RESOLVING THIS ISSUE I WILL DEFINITELY MOVE TO THE CONSUMER COURT.
