I have purchased AIRTEL DTH on 27.01.2009 since then its not working fine. According to the installation Technician's/Engineer's purview there is some problem in SET TOP BOX & OR DISH and needs to be changed. It has not ever worked fine for 5 days continuously. The Customer care for AIRTEL DTH is WORSE OF THE WORSTS, They have just one point to say "WE ARE VERY SORRY and will rectify with in 2 hrs which will never happen and again if you give the complaint the customer care has to say"WE ARE VERY SORRY and will rectify within another 2 hrs" and niether this process ends nor the AIRTEL DTH gets rectified. i strongly recomned never to buy AIRTEL DTH

Airtel — Cheating n NON-FULFILLMENT of promises

respected sir,
My self vicky .V. patel, using yur airtel number [protected] from past 12 months have faced several problems. I activated my SMS11 pack in the month of APRIL'08... N for some reason i wanted to deactivate.. So on 11th MAY'08, as per your customer care executives direction i typed DSMS11 from my handset n sent it to 511, after which i immediately received the SMS from 121 stating that your request is in the process n it will b done shortly, , , but i continued doing it on 15th MAY'08, 22nd MAy'08. 27th MAY'08, n on 22nd JUNE'08... till then it did not get deactivated... After which i personally visited VEGA CENTER, PUNE on 25th JULY'08.. where i was told that your scheme will b deactivated immediately, but after which it was not de activated.. Finally again your USELESS customer care executives promised me 24 HRS till 16 SEP, after which i again spend 1500 RS n went to VEGA CENTER, PUNE which is 300KMS from my place... U shiuld please take all this matter seriously...There my scheme got de activated n i was old that u will b getting your refund till evening... but till date i have not got ANY REFUND...n on 18th SEP'08 when i called your USELESS customer care executive, he told me that no complaint has been made... so again i called your USELESS cust exe on 19th MORNING after which he said that your request is in the process n yopu willreceive your refund within 24 HRS... but i dont understand y u AIRTEL USELESS people keep on cheating me.. Till date 22nd SEP i have not received any refund... IS THSI THE WAY YOU FOOL N CHEAT YOUR CUSTOMER.. I HAVE ALL THE PHONE RECORDING WHOCH I MADE TO YOUR useless CUSTOMER CARE EXE... I think i should get the +ve reply as soon as possible..Or i have to file a complaint after talking to my advocate... Please dont cheat people n make money... when we activate your services, u do it within 5 minutes.. n when we have to de activate, u take 5 months, , This is the worst ever CELLULAR SERVICE that u r providing... Give service n earn money...Dont fool n make money... you cheaters

Another issue with Airtel DTH now.
My topups were migrated to a new package that was offered to me by your rep on calling me in July mid.
That include
Music top up
Hindi Cine Plus
Colors channel.
Suddenly on 1st August i find MTV is not coming.
I call up customer care and register a complaint on 1st August.
My issue still persists and i still can't watch MTV which was promised to me by your guy when he was migrating my package.


Now on 20 Aug my A/C balance was 15.63 and today its 0.63.
Where have my 15 Rupees gone?
I recharge my account with 200 Rupees and i get a validity till 15th Sept.
With a monthly usage of Rs204, my validity should not have been till 15th Sept.
I call up Customer care and give your guy his piece and he says he can't hear anything so he is disconnecting the call.
This month i have paid the money and next month i am getting your sick connection disconnected.
You guys are not honest and you guys loot the customer.
I shall be posting a detailed user experience on my blog, and other sites of which i am a member.
I shall make sure none else has to go thru' this pain.

You shall not loose just one Airtel DTH connection but the following Airtel services too.
In my view, i have never experienced such a bad service. I thought being AIRTEL there would be some customer service atleast but sorry to say there is no service at all.my id is-[protected]

REGARDING THIS I HAVE ALREADY CONTACTED YOUR CUSTOMER CARE THREE TO FOUR TIMES. BUT ALL IN VEIN . YOUR CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVES ARE NOT AT PAR TO SOLVE MY PROBLEM AS WELL AS THEY ARE THEY ARE UNABLE TO SATISFY A CUSTOMER, AS MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE SAYS.

LASTLY TWO DAYS BEFORE IE 30.09.2009 I TALKED AGAIN YOUR TWO EXECUTIVES MR KAMLESH AND MS. ROSHNI BIJAN THEY TOLD ME THAT THESE FACILITIES WILL BE ACTIVATED WITH IN 48 HOURS. BUT WHEN I ASKED FOR THE COMPLAIN NUMBER FOR MY FUTURE REFERENCE THEY DID NOT DO THE SAME AND REPLIED ME THAT "WE DONT HAVE SUCH FACILITY".

I AM FED UP WITH YOUR SUCH REPLY. SO I AM MAILING YOU.

Most Bad CustomerCare and Service in Indian DTH service providers: Airtel DTH

Bought a south top up plan with airtel, after 2 months of working...it stopped and says that the card is not authorized even after a pay back...when u call the great customer care ...one out of 100 calls to the center gets through their...great IVR...if you are lucky or the combination of the key press is timely..you might get into ...then comes our great customer service personnals...saying sorry all the time and never tires of the sayinng..(Airtel pays incentives on number of sorry they say)...then they raise a ticket and says the problem wil be solved in 3 days ...and you have to wait...even if you call up the second day of frustration they say "sir the third day has not occured and once you reach the 3 rd day 5:00 pm you will be lucky ...the waiting continues...the fateful day arrives and the 5:00 pm goes by...ur DTH wil still say ...u are not authorized and my money in their account says ... u are authorized...the waiting still continues..."My fatefull 3 rd day 5:00 pm has not arrived"...

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — not receiving after sales services

I am using airtel digital tv from last 6 months and i have not received any after sales satisfaction form there part,
]From 8th of nov. morning 9 oclock i am not able to enjoy my tv channels and i have register compaint in customer care again and again they give me the diffrent compaint no. but no person come to solve it.

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Worse after sales service

Dear all,

I purchased Airtel digital TV a month back on 12/10/09. Firstly it took 3 days for installation after subscribing and then worked well for about a month. But since 12/11/09 it stopped receiving signal. I complained to customer care for 6 times(complaint no.1469015) but it is still unsolved on 17/11/09.
So if you are planning to buy a DTH service please do not go for Airtel. It is tha worst of all.
my ID is [protected]. Your services are horrible your people are not responding properly. i had a conversation with Mr. Ravi Biola who had given me irresponsible answers. Further i had a word with Mr. Girish floor supervisor in mumbai who keeps on repeating the same thing again and again without understanding my problem and when i asked him to reply me in yes or no he put me on hold. and i am listening your tune since last 5 mts right now as of me typing this message.

I have requested for a disconnection. and further i had told that last time also i had to wait for 3 days. Mr. girish is repeating the same story again and again witohut understanding my problem and giving me the status as usual.

I REGRET TAKING AIRTEL. I WANT TO KNOW MY REIMBURSEMENT AMOUNT FOR DISCONNECTION. WHCI MR GIRISH IN YOUR CUSTOMER CARE CANNOT EVEN ANSWER AND TO TOP IT YOUR Mr. RAVI BILOA MISBEHAVED.

This is Bring to know You that I am using your DTH service now.

My complaint is Since long time You are not allowed us to watch the QUICK VIEW In Your STB. Which is show me Six channal at the same time. All operator are allowed to use this service but I don't why u r not. When i go to check this service, that Pop-up shown in display that " we are upgrading the new system " Whatever. So, My concern is just try to update this service as soon as possible.

I hope my problem solve as soon as possible from your end.

Airtel is the worse company i have ever come across i will recommend all the users to make sure no one uses any of there services. the worse customer service and they don't really understand the issue and there engineers are not even aware about what the fault is and if they promise to come back they don't really kep there promise if you call them back they don't pick the phone but on the otherhand they will always charge you even though you have not used there service.
they are just like DHAKU's of todays.

I would request all of you don't to do any investment or don't go for any services provided by them.

Airtel — worst customer service ever seen

This is with reference to my airtel no.[protected].
I had called up on the toll free no. Regarding gprs issue as i was getting link not available try again later and the support executive was totally unaware of product knowledge as was unable to differentiate the difference between airtellive and mobile office which supports third-party application connectivity such as opera through which i was able to surf on internet and was not able to access through inbuilt browser but i cant access through airtel live which doesn't support opera etc. And according to support executive i m not mobile office user but as u can see i regularly recharge my cell through 98rs voucher so i insisted to talk to supervisor so executive told me that priti the team leader will cal me within 1 hrs but she dint and today i called for the same but got an answer that she is not available right now and any other will call me for the same as i denied for the same . So i will never prefer anyone for airtel connection and will personally beg them to deactivate them airtel card . I need you to take an action against priti as she thinks that this is a joke. Thirdly if this email has been send to same department so i will write another to higher authority . At last will most pathetic customer service in my life. kindly take a serious action against the agents and team-leader priti and against airtel as well and if you are unable to do this let me know i will visit consumer forum physically.
I asked GLOWFAST enterprises Salimar Garden Shibabad Ghaziabad to install a DTH connection at my place.Dealer asked me to deposit Rs1800/- as advance as per company policy what I did.

My premises was visited twice by Airtel people and confirmed that because of location of my flat the Signals will not be proper.Then I asked for the refund of my money as the same can’t be installed.

Now Airtel staff is saying that once sold wheather installed or not money would not be returned unless and until I get some form filled by Airtel people.With the reputed company like AIRTEL I don’t expect that this would be the policy.If this is the policy then it is the clear case of anti consumer and would be dealt accordingly.

I would like to bring to your notice, I have booked Airtel DTH connection and paid the money through Credit Card on[protected].

But till date no engineer has come for installation. And I am extremaly disappointed to say that the customer care service has been pathetic. There is hardly any concern from call center people. I might have 20 calls, and everytime they will check and get back and they never call back.

I have been customer of Airtel mobile & broadband for last 5 years and I have enjoyed the excellent service. Based on this experience I decided to go for Airtel DTH, but I am shocked to see the level of service at such low level. I am sure if the call center service continues like this, no wonder if few years Airtel DTH will be worst performer.

I would like to know why the connection has not happened inspite of paying money. If connection cannot e established by june 9th, , I would like to get a refund.

Please work on this, else I will be forced to approach consumer court.

This is the worst possible service I have ever seen, I raised Service Request # 3055796 and for no action regarding Service Request # 3047170 next I mailed

[protected]@airtel.in, dthnodal.[protected]@airtel.in (& I have the mail return receipts) but still no one gave me a single reply (other than the auto generated mails)

I am also thinking of moving to consumer forums

i am really agreeing with the lousy service done by Airtel customer service.

My connection is suspended with no reason, not re activated till now. I send so many correspondence but no proper response too .

I really fed up with this and advice all never choose Airtel DTH even it is technically very good too.

This is to bring to your notice that I recently availed the airtel dth service and have taken the ultra package for a year.
To be quite honest I am not happy with the kind of service I have received or the enthusiasm portrayed by your staff while selling the product.
I was conned by your sales rep Pritam Singh saying that for the offer I will be able to receive 4 HD channels that includes discovery, nat geo, espn and star sports and all future HD channels would be added at no extra cost.
Leave alone HD I haven’t even been able to receive the normal regional(Malayalam) channels which come in the package and had to call several times to finally get it configured. Moreover I had stressed on the point that I want a particular Christian channel called GOD TV which im now given to understand will not be available.
Your customer service staff are no less than a joke to me as they keep hanging up on calls while speaking and are unable to resolve the issue.
I have made a full payment of RS.5900 for the whole year and I don’t even get a single HD channel.
What seems to be the problem ??? and will I ever get a resolution to this ???
Please bear in mind that I just received my connection day before yesterday (30th June 10) to face such an ordeal and that too in such a short span of time clearly indicates the standard and level of service I will receive.
I have been using Airtel for my home landline, broadband, mobile etc and am quite a faithful customer of yours. But this episode has just proved to be a nightmare.

Airtel DTH Complaint — WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER SEEN

We are using the Airtel Digital TV at the apartment in Noida. But for the Last 30 Days I am facing a big problem that this Airtel Dish Tv is not working at all. I have called may 25 - 30 times to your Customers Care , but what I get every time is a new complaint number (for reference: 33120772, 3457798, 3438167, 3594201 and many more) and a promise that the Airtel Engineer will visit my place. But since last one month no one visted my place and not even got any call from any of the Airtel person following the same.

I think I have bought the Airtel Digital TV by having the faith on the service Airtel provide to their telecom consumers, So I have to pay like this, and airtel have shown that they are the worst in providing the after sales service.

If possible please provide the details of any responsible person from Airtel so that at least my complaint would be listen to.

CC.exe advised me to do recharge for 300 i does it immediately . today 20th i am writing till now no one respond me request.As above some of customers said its purely CHEATING the Customers.Local Satellite tv operators and cable tv ope giving very good services.

So its not advisable to go for a new connection...

Very very Bad Customer Care and promising false information and finally the customers has to struggle.

My plan is 1 yr plan valid till Mar 24, 2011, When call to the customer care the date is saying correctly however none of the channels are showing since Dec 2010. No proper response from Customer Care, asking to re-charge for around 100 bugs. No reason for this.

Its worst than anyother service. Pls. pass the info to all of your frnds and relatives and to familiars. Better not to take AirTel DTH. Go for some other DTH services.

i bought mt airtel dth on 1jan2011. since then i am feed up with their service. i launched 4 complaints on 21 and 22 feb respectively. they came to my house to recover the problem but they didn't got it. they promised to come the next morning but they did't. i called their customer care more then 20 times. sometimes they even DISCONNECT THE CALL. i called the local outlet to know more. they said to send the person but did't.i feel lik kicking them all. i want to disconnect the connection but couldn't do that because i paid for 1 year. BUT HE FINALLY CAME AND RESOLVED THE PROBLEM
We have purchase your new value pack purchase time your excecutive tell me 1regional chhanel life time free. We have choose Z Marathi some month Z Marathi was proper working but some month after Z Marthi channel closed. We have complaint customer care but not satisfy answer receive me Pl. look into matter & solve immediate.

My AIRTEL set top box getting hanged once often. Audio/video freezes. At times the STB closed down on its own. We have to switch off & on the STB from the main power to have its running again. Repeated complaints to customer care avails no result. Mailing to dthnodal.[protected]@airtel.in (& I have the mail return receipts) but still no one gave me a single reply (other than the auto generated mails). Getting the connection to customer care is also a Turnkey project, I have to try for nearly 2 to 3 hrs to get a chance to contact customer care. Once I got the chance & got an complaint number:6355051. after that one week has passed no response, from any one.People should not buy AIRTEL DTH..

this is to inform you that i have purchased one dth from you by paying rs1690/- in feb 2011 customer id 35663616 and again purchased dth zapper by paying rs2690/- at the time of installation and in your advertisement you have said that rs.1000/- will be credited in new account that is zapper account
now my dth service is scrumbled and i cannot view any channels inspite of having balance of rs 371/- in old a/c no.35663616 and rs.1000/- which you have to credit in new zapper a/c which has been installed last month.my mobile no.[protected] and wife mob no.[protected] which has been registered with you .
i request you to kindly resume the services immediately after varifying your records kindly contact on mobile mentioned above incase you are unable to sort the matter

Airtel is proud to carry the corporate banner. But the customer care dept is not at all effective and has very poor standards. After my initial 6 month package, i was recharging my account on a monthly basis with Rs 310. I asked them several times when is the money due- on which day of that particular month. They start asking recharge 2 weeks from the due date and if you paid them a week before the due date, they do not maintain that due date for you for the next payment. Since u paid a week in advance your due date also will be shortened by 7 days. And u ever ask them as per records, what is the due date of your account, they will declare a nearest date and decide themselves to suspend connection. Actually you still have 7 days to go; only thing you were at the shop and paid Rs 310 to avoid coming again for this and this u did when you had balance for the next 7 days!
They just want it their way-either by fooling the customer or by confusing them.

    I have a long standing Landline+broadband package from Airtel and am a heavy user and on time payer. I recently took Airtel Virus protetion package and due teo discount on teh annual package, took that and piad for the whole year in advance. Within two months of taking this annual package, my PC crashed and is not repairable. I have a lap top computer and requested Airtel to transfer my antivirus package to the lap top. The customer rep I spoke to said I will not be charged again as I am using my fully paid package, but to my horror I was again charged Rs.499 for the 'new' package.

    When complained, Airetel says my PC crashing is my problem, they will not transfer nor refund pro rat the annual package fee. As it is on the same telephone connection, I do not see what difference does it make to them if I use PC or a lap top.

    Please assist.

      I have never opted for airtel text services in Airtel WAP.After deducting from my balance they sent a message that "thank you for using the text service in Airtel WAP and you have been charged Rs. 50." Even I don't know what is the text service in WAP, my moble is not also up to mark to use WAP/internet services. Kindly necessary action to be taken against the service provider to deactivate the same from my mobile [protected] which is unfair on part of a customer.

      i am totally agree that they are loting money forced by many way. i had encountered many issue such as loting money thru different source, hello tune activation, everymonth some automate message to 5 digit no. etc.,
      there should be some mechanics to track this. some of the NGO should come up to tackle such issue for betterment of the people. i know we cannot avoid mobile phone usage but still we need to restrict to our normal use. not much things like wap, hello tunes, whatever nonsence stuff they offer.

        I have activated my Airtel post paid few days ago.When I submitted the documents at the time of taking the SIM I have produced all the necessary documents.however aftera week my SIM has been disconnected due to the stupid reason that my address proof is not on my name(Who the hell a tenant in a house will have the bill on his name.Notable point is that the address verification is also done ).Then again submitted the documents just yesterday.Hitherto My SIM have not been activated and my incoming is also disconnected.
        I was under the impression that Airtel service is better than any other service provider.But it seems otherwise.This is the worst service a customer could get and the response from the agents is such that they will not be in a position to give you any apologies but just keep on delaying.
        If Sunil Mithal is reading message he should be asamed of the current situation of his customers who are the centre of the business.If this happens to more customer then Sunil and his business would find a place to hang their hats...

            Dear sir,
            I am using Airtel Postpaid since over a year, since 2 months, I am seeing miscellaneous charges (VAS etc) which I haven't used at all.
            Hence I decided to withdraw my postpaid connection and migrate to prepaid after settling my outstanding bill amount
            Customer care is absolutely not responding to my request and asking me to pay more than actual which later would be adjusted (did not mentioned in which form).

            I have paid a deposit of 500/- which I have been promised to adjust in my monthly bill which has not happened, and when asked about this CC says there is no deposit on my name.

            I am ready to settle the bill and migrate to Prepaid ASAP.

                Hi All,

                I purchased a Broadband connction from Airtel. At the time of registration they took aprox Rs. 650/- extra from me due to change in plan. Executive told me that you will get the refund for the same. Now its been 4 months and ai have not received any refund from airtel. i have spoke with them on customer care and they confirmed that they will refund me money after two years. I want to know why they charged extra money from me if they are unable to refund me. Please help me to get the same. My mobile no is [protected]. I am now frustrated after doing a lot of follow up with them. Every month they charge me money for some software which I am not aware off and I call them every month to get the refund for the same. Help me to resolve the same.

                  I got the airtel landline(in bangalore) installed 4 months back and ever since then I am being levied high charges(between Rs. 3000 and Rs.6000) even though the phone line and the broadband are minimally used. I had been using BSNL before and it has never costed me more than 675Rs for my consumption. Everytime I call the Airtel call center seeking clarification, I am told that they will verify the same but nothing happens. When I spoke to their retention team finally, I was told it was a miscalculation and he will raise a waiver for the additional charges levied. Unfortunately, nothing happened on the waiver front and If you skip the additional bill waiting for them to resolve your problem, they make rowdies/recovery agents call you repeatedly who harass/bully you and refuse to go back and check their own records. Additionally they disconnect the phone/broadband through most part of the month due to these confusions but keep charging me for the complete period in the next month. I have made 'n' number of calls to the call center and the retention team in this period but the problem is still not resolved. Beware... Pathetic service and takes advantage of customers.

                    This escalation is regarding my complaint on “Network/Range problem” in my area (mentioned below). The complaint was raised with customer service in the month of mid March 2008.

                    After March 08, countless times I tried to get progress updates from customer service on this complaint. But every time I got same repeated answers saying “Out technical team is looking into it, we will get back to you soon”. Being a technical person I am not at all satisfied with the response and turnaround time from Airtel.

                    Problem – I am really surprised to see such problem on 11th floor in a prominent location (Aundh Road/Khadki Rly Stn) of Pune City..!!

                    1) Distorted voice/breakage in voice transfer
                    2) Very low range/network or No Range

                    Airtel Broadband Connection — pathetic connectivity and worse customer service

                    The company is unable to resolve basic connectivity related issues and fulfill service agreement terms and conditions. My 128kbps connection is highly "discontinuous" and hardly ever "connected" for more than half an hour at a stretch...this is apart from the fact that the speed is nowhere close to 128kbps (as promised) at most times!!

                    Over and above that, the customer service engineers are incompetent and impolite / rude as well!

                    I, Mukesh Kumar Garg, am having a land line telephone connection at my family residence at 9, New Chandra Nagar, Near Mangal Nursing Home, Gwalior under account no. 405077 (Tel No. 4087077). This connection is continued for years and bills are regularly paid.. About 4-5 year back on advice of Airtel representative a broad band connection under GOLD scheme was also taken at above address under account no.[protected]User ID[protected]_mp) which continued till Oct’08 when another Airtel Representative advised me to have a broad band connection of above mention telephone itself instead separate connection. In Oct’08 the same was done by Airtel and continued till today. This can be verified at your end also. Even after completing all the formalities as advised by Airtel Reps from time to time bill were raised by Airtel till May’09 separately for Broad band under above user ID and also along with land line. All the bills were paid from our end regularly. When we contacted your office near Gurudwara while paying the bills and asked the reason for still raising two bills we got the shock of our life as we were informed that it is wrongly done however mistake lies with customer that is me for whatever has been done with me by Airtel. I can understand that Airtel can tell this at this stage to protect your employees who have committed the blunder and blame the soft target which is always the customer who had faith in Airtel and paid the bills raised. I would be happy if some these points are answered without any prejudice and taken action at your end:-

                    - Is it always customer is at receiving end as he would not have any thing to control at Airtel?
                    - Why the extra payment received from me for extra bills shall not be recovered from Airtel employee who has not done disconnection of broad band connection under account no.[protected]User ID[protected]_mp) instead of blaming customer?
                    - What action Airtel is taking so that such cases are not repeated in future?
                    - What law says in such cases to protect the customer or law only protects the big business houses like Bharti?
                    - When you will arrange to stop the raising two bills as is being continued as on date and broad band will continue on land line as being used in present case?

                    On receipt of reply from your end and action as requested above I may have to decide next course of action to be adopted. I hope to receive a positive response with refund of extra payments made by me from Oct’08 to till date which may amount to Rs. 5500.oo appox.

                    I feel strong action will be taken by Airtel to upkeep the image of organization and advise your office bearer to behave and talk decently with customers and listen to him / them instead only raising their points whether wrong or right thinking that they are only right on this earth.

                    I am pained to write above letter as the response I received at your Gurudwara office was completely negative as if any Airtel employee never does any thing wrong though all customers do no know anything what they are suppose to know. They forget while providing connections tall assurances and commitments are given to get the customer but when a person becomes the customer all commitments are forgotten.

                    I am sure Airtel takes care their commitments and give value to customers that’s why it is a big organization and have largest customers in the industry, leaving few employees who spoils the image of company. It is also seen that all big organization like Airtel will have few of such persons in their team but these shall be trained to deal with customers.

                    I look forward for an early positive response from your end and hope to pay for only one bill from now onwards as disconnection will be arranged from your side after verification of records at your end.

                    Airtel Broadband Connection — improper installation and poor response

                    airtel Broadband connection was applied on 28th june 2009.even after repeated phone calls, no proper attention is being given for the installation. We were asked to sign on the "Broadband installation report " and "Installation, Commissioning & ABD Report(IR) ", even before completion of proper installation. we signed them with the belief that the assurance given on completion of the work immediately on the following day would be kept up. unfortunately the assurance turned out to be farce.there has been regular calls every day from airtel, welcoming us to the airtel fold. but no one has paid attention to our request.reason given is shortage of man power.

                    Airtel Broadband Connection — Complaint regarding Broadband Connection

                    I am Prasad, doing job as a Software Engineer. I have applied for Airtel Broadband Internet Connection. One of the agent (named Dilip. his mobile no:[protected]) came to my house and filled the internet connection form and asked my Pan Card xerox copy, passport size photo and collected the money of Rs.500 and he told like 'with in 3 days you will get the connection'. After few days I got a call from him. He told me like 'in your area maximum connection (50 connections) has already been provided, so we can't provide more connection and told like our customer executives will refund the advance money (Rs.500/-). But till this date I didn't received the money. I even called the Airtel Manager also (his name is Prakash. his mobile no: [protected]). He replied like your money has already sent by courier, but i didn't received till now. This is not the question of refunding my advance money but 'How IRRESPONSIBLE these airtel customer care executives are'. Kindly take this complaint seriously and take necessary action as quick as possible.

                    i have applied for new air tel broadband connection on 26.06.09. the agent namely Raja having cell no. [protected] informed me about the plan of Rs.749/- with IP Static address with Rs.2500/- p.a.. i confirm for the connection with this plan. but at the time of installation on 27.06.09 the engineers subsequently the customer care refused to give me ip static address. i have logged the complaint no. 21375684 on 28.06.09 about the fact. Now there executive asked me that you will take the plan of Rs.1499/- this month next month we will change this to Rs.749/-.

                    Sorry to say but the co is a bunch of goons and buffoons!!!

                    I get 8 to 10 calls on non receipt of payment for my Broadband connection. Something which has already been resolved by yet another set of Dept about a month back.
                    Inspite of my giving the SR no as the reference, the same does not get updated in their system and I keep getting calls at all odd hrs.

                    I would like to bring forward some of my observations regarding AIRTEL BROADBAND services. As you can see from your records I am a Airtel Broadband customer from past 4 years. The quality of the service offered by Airtel is excellent and I personally recommended it to many people. But now a days I find a slow fall in the standards here is why I say this

                    1) Frequent Disconnections - I am observing frequent disconnection and at least once during night time and this causes lot of inconvenience as the clients who are online with us on Instant Messengers think we are not working or we just logged in. While typing this email I lost internet connection. 18th Aug 2009 - from 11:15PM to 11:32PM connection was lost.

                    2) Feedback - Calls - Lot of calls are made to us asking for feedback and complaints are attended fast - calls are made to sure that complaints are closed. But the people attending to the complaints are more and more concentrating on CLOSING the complaint by any means but not SOLVING it. They give some weird reasons for internet problems and try to get our consent for closing the issue. I requested a BERT Meter or a technical devise to provide that there is not data loss due to our internal wiring - instead of that they come up with a direct wiring from the DP and try to solve the problem temporarily. Few days back there was a call from Bangalore taking feedback on the services - I gave them couple of issues to resolve and no one got back.

                    3) STICKERS - The stickers that your sales people stick are becoming a great headache. They stick them in lifts - over fire extinguishers - on doors - DP points everywhere. If we are bit in attentive they will stick the sticker to your head. Though we lodged many protests to Airtel call center there is not solution to this.

                    4) I have a hotlink from my landline to my cell phone. Suddenly during nights I get call from my Landline to my cell automatically scaring me to death. I don’t know why this happens and your call center people cannot explain. While typing this my cell phone rang - its call from my AIRTEL Landline.

                    AIRTEL is a leading brand and these kind of issues make us think twice about the reliability of this brand. The amount of concentration that is going on in EXPANDING your base is more than the amount you are spending to keep the current base happy.

                    Airtel Broadband Connection — Excess billing and harassment

                    I had purchased an Airtel broadband connection on 23/12/08 and my id is 14416734.I have been facing excess billing problems from the very first month under various heads--VAS,Late payment,Reactivation charges.Everytime I have to call the Airtel guys to get the bill corrected but now I am fedup with followups
                    Ms Richa Sharma (Retention Deptt[protected] had last time promised me that if i will clear the bill ,she will get all the anomalies corrected but there was no action even after the bill was paid.Now she avoids talking to me
                    Mr Nitin(Apellate Deptt Airtel) had also promised the same but till date my problem has not been solved.
                    This has now become a big tension for me.I want Airtel to waive off the overcharging of 700/- and settle the issue once and for all.They shud do it immd before my next payment becomes due on 12th Sept.

                    Airtel Broadband Connection — Deliberately not installing the broadband connection and rude behavior.

                    Respected Sirs/ Mam,
                    On 23rd August I filled the form for Airtel Broadband Connection and I have also given him a cheque for 1000 Rs. These people were supposed to install the connection within 3-4 days. I called these people and followed up. First they said that it was some technical problem and it would take some time. So I waited.
                    I called these people yesterday (5th Sep 09) and they said they will not be able to install the connection at my home.
                    Now the issue is that they will not install the connection. They have already deducted 1000/- Rs from my account and their behavior were very rude, they said that you do what ever you want.
                    When I asked them about my money they said I would get it back and it would take around 30days. They will send a cheque/draft at my home.
                    Airtel provide the broadband connection in the area where I am living. And in fact the building where I am staying there are also few Airtel broadband connection installed.
                    But due to some wiring/DP box problem they are saying no to me.
                    Few questions from end which were unanswered by them.
                    Question: My question is if they are providing services in the same building then why they are not providing to me?
                    Question: If these people were not able to do so they should have told me this thing at the beginning, before filling up the form?
                    Question: They took 7 days to deduct the money from my account? What these people were doing for 7 days? If they could do it they shouldn’t have deducted the money from my Account.

                    Please help as they are not providing the service because they have to do their Job properly.

                    Airtel Broadband Connection — Unethical & Unprofessional behaviour from AIRTEL

                    This is in regards to my Land line & Broadband connection #[protected]. Account # 11600956

                    I have been using Airtel services from quite some time & have always appreciated the connectivity & speed. However, from day one I have been facing the issue of my payments not reflecting on Airtel accounts.

                    I have been dropping my payment cheques every month in Airtel drop boxes & every time they use to misplace my cheques & my connection use to get barred. I have never said no to any payment & have always made a cash payment or have asked Airtel guys to collect the same. But there is no end to it, every time you guys bar my services & I am getting harassed. Every time I have given information about the payment made but you still can't locate the same.

                    My patience has reached to a saturation point & I gave a call to Airtel customer care & told to close my connection & got a reference # 33137440 as again my connection was barred & I have dropped the check twice. I have given that information to Airtel customer care department myself but as usual of no use.

                    I got a call from Airtel’s so called retention department on Saturday, May 29th & the guy who made the call was so rude & sarcastic that he opened the call by saying that when are you going to make a payment. I narrated the entire incident but he kept saying that make a payment. I asked him that is it a retention call or a collection call? He said that I will have to make a payment. I got so frustated & asked for his supervisor & told him that I will not make any payment.

                    His supervisor Mr. Javed was nice enough & tried to persuade me but he as well was talking about a payment. I told him that I have kept Airtel modem & telephone appratus aside & don't want Airtel connection anymore & somehow the call got disconnected. The original caller again called & started using foul language & said that if I will not make any payment then my relatives & friend will get collection calls.

                    After half an hour, I started getting calls from my 4 relatives that they are getting collection calls & the guy is saying that Mr. Ashish Ahluwalia has given your number & you have to make this payment.

                    If this is the kind of retention these guys are doing then Hats off to them because by doing this Airtel is just ruining Airtel's reputation & not mine. I would have agreed to pay had it been a nicer way but the way you guys have dealt with this situation I am highly annoyed & will not make any payment.

                    I called up Airtel customer care department & spoke with Airtel shift supervisor Ms. Neha Raman & she assured me that all this will stop & gave me Reference # 1075060.

                    If you these don't know what Retention of a customer means then I must say that Airtel will very soon vanish from the market due to the associates they have who tries to collect on every account & are least bothered about the customer's concern. I have received a pathetic services from Airtel people & I guess they should again look at Airtel recruitment mechanism.

                    This is my final warning to these guys & one more call to any of my relative or friend & I will file a lawsuit in consumer court.

                    Airtel Broadband — Refund Amount of Advance pay After Application Rejected

                    Hi ,

                    I submitted my all the application with cheq to Airtel broadband service on 17th May 2010 for the new connection , but due to some port issue my connection has been got rejected & for the same i got a confirmation from airtel on 22nd May 2010. They told me that i will be getting refund amount by 27th May 2010 , but till now i haven't got refund amount from airtel . I alredy log a 3 complain with airtel (i.e 32985824,33304670 &[protected] .
                    I tried to contact with the higher authority but their information is not available in airtel site & as well customer care guys not providing contact details of the higher autority. I am really disagree with this kind of support from airtel. I already spend rs.500 for daily calling to customer care guys & their manager Mr. Bhargava , Gopal & Satish.
                    Whenerver I called they will tell you will get your Refund amount by tomorrow , but till now for them tomorrow didn't came . I requested to take a corrective action on this.

                    I (srinivasu.k)took the broad band connection on November 2009 with Account No: 15235474, it is under three months advance payment scheme of rupees 1800/-, we used for nearly two months later on we shifted the house, regarding this we request for the change of address and connection, your people told that it is chargeable around 500/- .So I asked them to cancel the connection instead off shifting, later on they called and came to me for free shifting charges scheme, after so many days they came to our new address for connecting and they reported us that there is no feasibility for connectivity at new location address, even then I forced them to disconnect the account .
                    Several times I reported to the customer care during the remainder of the outstanding balances to disconnect my connection and account .

                    Hi,

                    Three weeks before I placed an order for installing Airtel broadband connection at my home. I requested for 999 Monthly plan with WiFi modem. For the initial two weeks I didn't get the installation as I was told that there are some technical issues in lines; once corrected the installation will be done.

                    After two weeks, technical team came to my place and installed 1999 monthly plan. To add on, welcome call had incorrect residential address. This happened last week . I have contacted and complained the concerned guys infinite times. Each time I get to hear that it will be done today but unfortunately its not done as yet.

                    My disappointment is that I don't expect such negligence from Airtel. I don't know where the information went all wrong (of course not from my side), but due to this my work has suffered a lot.
                    I request you to please look into the matter. Looking forward to a resolution to this problem at the earliest.

                      I am uneble to surf the Airtell plug to surf in my office premisses at Mithakhali Ahmedabad
                      Inspite of complaining to Aitel customer care no solution.

                      We have lodged our complian thrice but still there is no any respond from Airtel customer care excpt there coplaine number.

                      We are very sorry to say that we have the worst experience of AIRTEL PLUG TO SURF and there SERVICE

                              This is regarding a fake bill that has been generated by this fraudulent company going by the name of Bharti Airtel services.
                              My brother got his phone deactivated on the 20th of March last month and he didnt use the phone after that.
                              This month Airtel sent somebody to my home threatening us with dire consequences if we dont pay the bill of 44000!!
                              His average monthly expense was usually of the order of <1000.
                              Airtel is claiming that GPRS usage charges alone amount to 44000.
                              Please suggest the right forums and the process to take such a case forward.
                              We are being harassed by the company officials.

                                We have Taken Airtel digital TV connection from TCH Hyderabad we paid Rs.2000/- but by mistake airtel people credited our money in some other person's A/C and when we are asking to sort out this problem then there manger Ms.homine Daniel said that it will take 5 days to resolve our problem. Now if this kind of big brand is taken that much time resolve customer's problem then there is no meaning of buying airtel digital TV I am really fad up with there services and if they are not going to take any action as early as possible then I am ready to file a police complain Against Airtel.

                                  1. I, Amaresh Gunjan, am an old customer. I had an airtel broadband connection Number 45518736. The connection was installed and activated in
                                  May/Jun 08 at the address of 126 - GOODWILL Apartments, Sect - 13, Rohini, New Delhi - 85.

                                  2. Being an Army Officer, I was provided with a Govt telephone (MTNL) in Aug 08 and Hence I surrendered my airtel connection. After about 7/8 months, on 14 Apr 09, I got a call that a case of 'Cheating and Fraudulement' had been filed against me at the Tis Hazari Court, New Delhi by Airtel Company, for not paying an amount of Rs 1686/-. The details of the case are :
                                  File No 7723; Camber No - 515; Rajat Dixit ([protected]), Tees Hazari Court.

                                  3. I was shocked by the these allegations against a serving Army Officer in the Ministry of Defence, Govt of India. I was particularly surprised by the immature handling of the issue by your representatives. On checking back through your representative I was informed thta :Sir, do not take tension, everything is clear and thre was a mistake'. I need to clarify somethings and also need some clarifications :

                                  - Firstly, when I surrendered the tele connection, obviously I had paid all the outstanding dues to the best of my knowlwdge. Assuming, for a moment that a particular bill had been left out, then why I was not reminded through my mobile or my reference contact or through my email id, all these details were available wiyh you. If you could inform me through the same contact that a case has been filed, why could you not inform me earlier of the outstanding payment, if any.

                                  - Secondly, the charges that you have levelled are very very serious which besides dnting my reputation may cause harm to my carreer prospects. Do you think that the appraoch you have taken is the right way to deal with.

                                  - Who is going to account for all the pain, agony and mental tension going through me and my family members.

                                  4. Considering the above complaint, may i request the concerned officials to please look into the matter and give me a quick response. Pl do justice to your famed reputation.

                                    Airtel — Reimbersement from airtel

                                    On jan 10 th 2009 i have paid 550Rs for getting connection for airtel internet but because of the digging roads and giving connection to my house is a big problem and previously airtel had digged all the road for main cable so the committe members are not allowing the airtel persons to give the connection all this is the adminstration problem of airtel ofter one month also they have not given the connection and they have canceled my application but till now they have not retuned my money

                                    Airtel — reimbursement of excess payment.

                                    My payment(6000 Rs)has to come from airtel. they are saying that they sent me cheque but i have n't received any cheque till now.

                                      I received a massage from AirTel to submit prepaid documents. After contacting customer care on 6-7-09 at around 8 pm I was told to submit the papers at M-5 Cannought Circus. When I went there in the morning around 10.30 to submit the documents but they refused to accept and instead directed me to contact at [protected]. I contacted the given number at around 11am on 7-7-09 and I was told that their man will come and collect the documents from my office address at ITO. When nobody turned up till 2 pm on the given address I again contacted and I was again told that the concerned man will be coming within an hour and he will contact you. At 5.30 when the Office was to close down I again contacted and I was told that the person will come tomorrow morning and will collect the documents.
                                      At around 9 pm I was surprised to see that my outgoing calls have been barred for the reasons best known to the AirTel.
                                      I am a AirTel connection holder since September 2002 and I do not understand what type of verification is to be done when there is no change in my residence, office and other particulars etc.
                                      This is really very bad on the part of the AirTel to bar my outgoing calls without any fault of mine. I have to made very urgent ISD calls today and for that I have to cut a very sorry figure to my relatives abroad.
                                      If this is the way to do the business then I will be forced to think over to surrender my connection.

But no Responses...finally they told that we will deactivate your caller tune... But still that caller tune is in activation...Pls try to refund my amount which has taken from my main account wrongly...Or deactivate my caller tune...

                                      I was using Airtel postpaid and later I shifter from postpaid to prepaid, because I got one more post paid connection. I was not interested to cancel this number, because, I gave this number to most of the people. I recharged and the balance was approximatly Rs 60/-. I was not using this number for calling, I am using only for incoming calls. after 2 months of time i was checking I shocked, because the balance was .17 paise. I enquired the customer care, they wewe telling that, you have enabled one portal, for that everyday Rs2 deducting. I asked them, I not activated any thing. they were telling that, I am seeing this and telling. i asked, what is that exactly? They told that, That is the one devotional song portal, you will get everyday massage from one number about devotion. i told her, till now i didn't get any massege from them. Can youc check ant tell me when and what massege I recieved from them? She got confused and she replied that I dont know sir, now i am cancelling this servise. She was careless about others money. Then i asked her, ok, to whom I need to contact for further clarification. She is telling that, you need to contact us only. If i call them, they are escaping and they dont know any thing.

                                      The Airttel is doing lot this kind of things. Sure this company will get effect of this mistakes. They may think that, peoples are foolish, they are not thinking on this, but peoples are too smart and they react very smartly. Definetly they will pay hugely for their this kind of neglegency and too worst support.
                                      Airtel, please dont make people foolish, they are also like you, dont hit thier stomach and try to make money, if that is the case, sure one day you will close the company very shortly. Hope that day will come very soon. Try to correct your mistakes. Dont try to make money in wrong way, that will not be permanent.

                                        I am a prepaid customer to Airtel ([protected]) for the past 6 years. Last december (dec 2008) i changed my ECS mandate so that Airtel collects monthly bill from this bank. Though their call centre claims the airtel records are upadated with the new bank. The bills are stilling going to old bank forcing me maintain the old bank. I made around 50+ calls to their call centre and sent several emails without any positive result.
