Dear Sir/Madam

I used international roaming services of Airtel in March when I visited USA for about 3 weeks.

For last 2 months, Airtel is sending me exorbitant bills, without any details of time usage or justification.

As an example - for 4 usages of 9 seconds, 6 seconds, 20 seconds, 10 seconds (on 16th, 18th and 19th March) they have rounded off the duration to 4 minutes. For this they have charged Rs 1000/-. This works out to Rs 250/- per minute. Based on same logic they have already charged me Rs 20, 000/- last month. For call charges of Rs 6-8 per minute between India and USA ... why have they charged me Rs 250/- per minute ? Also the usage is barely 90 seconds, why are they charging for 4 minutes ?

This is total 'manmaani' ... they dont even bother to provide details o[censored]sage. Just keep sending huge bills.

Please do investigate this scam being perpetrated by telecom companies on unsuspecting users, where they charge users 100 times the actual charges ?

    dear sir,

    we have sbi group post paid connection in the name of bm, dist.collectorate office, ongole phone no.[protected]. Three days ago suddenly disconnected telephone outgoing services to our connection. When i contacted the local airtel postpaid ongole service centre, they told me that they are not responsible for disconnection and they are not providing service to air tel group customers as they are not part of their business. After my repeated requests they told me that telephone bills for our connection pennding for jan & feb 2009 are pending.

    we have paid all dues on 26/02/2009 Rs 1567.71 by dd no 511482. The dd also realised on 11/03/2009 by airtel company yet they have not credited to our account and still showing as dues and disconnected our services.

    sir, it is very unfortunate to tell that you dont have service provider in a big centre like ongole (district head quarter of prakasam dist.) for any querries and you are also not caring to the customer. Even when i telephoned [protected] or 121 no one registered the complaint sorted out the problem.

    Please up date bill by crediting the amount paid on 26/02/09 and restore my services

      we have a Group SIM i. e. mobile no. [protected] and this connection used by our staff and we have given the Nokia 1100 to our staff. Every month Airtel raised the amount against Internet browsing. everybody know that Internet browsing is imposible with the Nokia 1100. We have contacted all the concern person of airtel but nobody has been given satisfactory answer. They told us that Internet used between 2.00 am to 4.00 am and we know that this is not reconize statement. At last we have not depsot the last bill and they have stop the outgoing our other Mobiles as well as not any amount due against other mobile. Now we are very tired to harresing by airtel and ultimately we deposit the full & final payment and surrendered the SIM

        my name is uday jaradi. i bought a airtel dth few days back. Unfortunately, your product and service has not performed well and your service is inadequate because your technical person did mistake and transfer my account balance to other's account.even your dealer gave me wrong voucher coupons. i did complain regarding all this matter to your customer care but no body gave me good response. from last 15 days i am having problem. I am disappointed because your service is inadequate your techincal person and your dealer as not disclosed clearly and your techincal person and dealer misrepresented every thing.

        I look forward to your reply and a resolution to my problem and will wait until 26 April 2009. because i am feed up about all this things and before seeking help from a consumer court and news papers. Please contact me at the above address or by phone at [protected].

        Yes, airtel is one junk service provider many issues with the phones they supply like black berry and network connection is junk,

        black berry is replaced 4 times, still same issues, it will disconnect the connection automatically.
        software hangs

        also about the bills many conflicts and ppls from service centre will not respond properly

        Airtel Mobile — NO SERVICE FROM 13TH JULY 09

        Dear Sir/Madam,

        Self having regular Post paid connection of AIRTEL mobile in Pune Number [protected] . From 11th July 09 it was suddently stop working.

        Visited Chinchwad Pune Customer Care center and they have ask me to call on 888 which is a service number. Register complainte there also.

        Chinchwad c.c. inform me that SYSTEM IS DOWN FOR DATA UPDATION UP TO 18th JULY 09. and we can not do any thing up to 18th July 09.

        This is a big surprise 8 days without mobile which i is for business use how can one work out.

        After all discussion Chinchwad customer service counter (Very very ruff and unprofessional approach) was refuse to support and clearly told even WANT TO STOP SERVICES WE CAN NOT BUT WE WILL CHARGE YOU THE RENTAL.

        As on today 21 july 09 mobile is off and now taken a dicision to stop the use of AIR TEL services.

        I purchased aittel DTH package in June'2009. The system was running very fine. After a month there
        was a problem in set top box.Immediately I phoned my dealer and he suggested me to log a complain
        to their customer care. But unfortunately I could not do it. On behalf of me, my lealer made a complian.
        Immediately I found a message saying my complain number and the date and time of visit of service engineer. Next day the service engineer contacted me and came to my house. At that time I could not
        show the problem. But the problem occurred after few hours. Immediately I phoned the S.E, and he
        told me not to worry and he will replace the set top box. Next day he came and replaced the set top
        box with propper installation.
        I am very satisfied with the prompt service and the behaviour of the S.E.

        I think, the dissatisfaction depends from person to person. Customer has to understand the technology
        and the problem of S.E.

        airtel dth tv — MANY TV CHANNEL ARE NOT WORKING ,PROBLEM PERSIST SINCE 15 DAYS

        I have taken DTH service of Airtel digital tv , and regularly i face problem with services of channels,
        i repeatedly raised the issue to customer care DTH on number 12150.
        But i feel that there is no one responcible & working fo solution.

        I really frusted from this service ,

        Pls help me out ,and send my quesy to some responcible person.
        AREA MANGER of the Airtel had the authority to DO, SAY & WORK as he WANTS
        Dearest Nodal,
        I am using word dearest to you because I think that every time I send a complaint to you and you assure me that it will not repeat again but it happens . Before complaining this time I want to request you that please don’t assure me that you will take care of it, just mail me that you cannot help me out with that so I can at least make myself feel that company work like that only and I have to use AIRTEL DTH service like that only, so in the future if something happen I will not waste my time and money on going to all this process.
        Now today is the last date of my three months free subscription, so I went to airtel office at lajpat nagar, Kanpur asked them to recharge my account for rupees 2050 so I can order for economy pack for 10 months, but they said that they don’t have coupon for that .Then the office person called this senior and ask to help, this is the best part senior said i should take coupons from market and recharge my account, to confirm this conversation I also talked to that person whose name is Mr.Olvin his mobile number is [protected], he told me the same words in first conversation with him then I asked the office person to give me contact number of area manager and his name too. Then I called him (Area Manager –Ritesh Gupta, Mobile Number – [protected] ) I told him the full details and waited for his replies but it was too shocking to me that area manager of such a big company could also reply to me like this, best part of the complaint he said that I should go to any dealer and take recharge coupon after this reply I asked him that why airtel office can’t provide me coupon then first he was silent to it, I called him to know the reason but ... After that I told him the case that happened to me last time, that I got a coupon from local dealer and it did not get recharged for a day over this he replied me “penny (100 Rs) doesn’t count and right now my main concern should be to recharge nothing else”, then I said to him that this is not the way of working. I could not believe I am telling a company area manger the way of working and company makes these kind of persons area manager .After this he without saying anything put me on hold and put me on conference to Mr.Olvin and said to him that when they get the coupon they should call me and disconnected the phone.
        After all this I immediately called Airtel DTH Customer Care timing was 5.11 pm .Miss Poonam took my call, I told her the details she replied me that they couldn’t take complaints against AREA MANGER I asked her the reason, she replied nothing and asked me to talk to her senior named Mr. Vinod . He also replied that he couldn’t help me in this.
        Might be Area Manager of the Airtel had the authority to do, say & work as he WANTS.
        Hope that company should at least give professional development course to these kind of Area Managers or please as a dedicated customer of Airtel company I will say to Nodal Officer not to make such promises to customers which can’t be fulfilled .

        I have taken airtel digital TV on 7th July 2009 from that day everyday there is a new problem with my connection. At the time of installation the person meltreated, so I launched a complaint against him the complaint number is 826318 after this two person from Kanpur airtel office called Mr.Manjeet when I was talking to him, all of sudden he gave the phone to Mr.Abhishek and left . Mr.Manjeet and Mr.Abhishek seem to be new to this professional world or they don’t know how to talk to a customer. Now the big fish to be caught now is on 10th July 2009 I brought the recharge coupon from a shop near to my place name KINESCOPE SALES of 100 Rs. The coupon Sr No. Is [protected] tried to recharge my account but did not get it out done so I called customer care they told me that this Sr. No. Is not registered in the company account and told me exchange this card from the shopkeeper .When i went to him he called his distributor and told the case to him the reply was shocking to me the distributor told us that the card will be going to register till 10 pm in the company so after that I should recharge my account then it will work .Now few question arises:

        •Is the distributor is printing the recharge coupon in his house?

        •If the recharge coupon is issued from the company then why it is not in the company’s account?

        •Is this the ethics and policy of the company?

        •Is this a stealing from customer’s pocket?

        •Is the two senior staff of the company behaving like this justified?

        I think as a customer of the company I have the right to know the answer to all these questions. For me now it’s not just a question of 100 Rs or stealing from my pocket.
        Now it’s the question of ETHICS and POLICY of the company.

        Hope that all my issues will be solved ASAP and action will be taken against all of the people involved in all the issues or otherwise I have to knock the door of consumer form.

        I think so that better you read my mail once again then reply to it or it just common reply given to all customer . I had no problem with customer care executives they at least help me out and i have taken coupon on 10.07.09 that recharge on 12.07.09 and I mailed you on 11.07.09 and my question had not been answer till yet.         AirTel DTH Customer service and complaint resolution is Worst. I am paying for channels with no picture on the screen. Area service manager Keeps his mobile Switched OFF ([protected]). Service engineer calls and commits will come in 30 mins but never turned up and finally sends the SMS that complaint has been resolved.

        I am facing this problem in Electronics City Area, Bangalore.

        I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT TO GO FOR AIRTEL DTH...

        I have already registered the above complaints but there is no technician who has visited my home for the query.

        The staff who attend my phone all give me a new time that a person will visit my home and will solve the query. But nobody visit to solve it nor even a phone has come to ask the query. I have got rid of the product and I want to just disconnect it as no service after sales is provided.

        As per the terms and conditions it is prescribed that such type of complaint will be solved within 24 hours but till now 120 hours passed away but there is no resolution of my query. I dont know what to do.

        Even the staff of Airtel cant tell me the responsible person to whom I can contact directly who is responsible for the service to be provided nor they know anything in this matter. They only say that they can only forward the complaint at backend and a person will be sent for the purpose.

        Please guide me in this matter as soon as possible

        i have purchased Airtel DTH in october month, customer id [protected]. after 1 week suddeny i saw there is no signal only blue screen appears. i have registered complains in customer care i have got 5 complain numbers. whenever i get the complatin number after few hours i got a message problem has been resolved. i have really fed up with the service. now whenever i call to customer care they cut my call. at the time of purchase dealer asked that airtel is no. 1 in service. but i find AIRTEL provides worst service...i think have lost my money...

        airtel dth services — Installation of the product

        Dear Sir,
        I had bought an Airtel Digital TV online by paying from online banking account on 18th January 2009, since then i have called up customer care more than 20 times and have been provided with various numbers to get the installation done but on calling those dealers they have clearly denied installation saying that the dth was not purchased through them so they cannot get it installed. On again calling up customer care i have been give various nos. but still i am waiting for installation to happen which was at the time of sale was promissed to be done within 48 hours. But today being 22nd January 2010 i am still waiting for something to be done by them. Customer ID provided to me was [protected]. Having made more than 20 calls some of which have lasted more than 30 mins. I have also mailed my issues more than 10 times to the customer care mail id i.e [protected]@airtel.in, but everytime i have been told sorry for the inconvieniece caused we will resolve your issues within few hours but few days have passed and i am still waiting for the services from their end. I would hereby also like to file for a compensation for the inconvienience caused to me by having to call & follow up the issue and delay caused in installation. Looking forward to Consumer Forum for help in this case.

        Greetings of the day,
        I have a airtel DTH connection, which shows lots of south indian channels packages but doesn't have bengali channels package.I request you please include some more bengali channels like Sangeet bangla, Ruposi Bangla etc.

        The signal went off on sunday, filed a ticket and monday somebody called and said he will come.
        But refused to come after 5:30 as I was in office. So I came home from office only for fixing DTH tv and he did not turn up and when I called the number I was given another number and finally I had four numbers to call and none worked. Then evening I call customer care the famous response "We understand your concern and we apologize" (total bull no meaning). I get to know that 9-6 is working hours so I asked him to send someone by 9 so that I can go to office at 9:30 but no body turned up. MOST INTERESTING PART IS THIS ARITEL DEDUCTS THE AMOUNT ON DAILY BASIS BUT FOR SERVICE IT TAKES MORE THAN 2 DAYS!!!

        The most pathetic service. There is no value for customers time and money.
        Unfortunately I subscribed it for one year. I wish I could just return and get the money. I am repenting on going for Airtel DTH if some one reading this please dont for this !!!

        i totally agree because i m facing too similar problem, already malied before writing here. One nice thing I came to know - 24hrs means, 8 working hours a day makes your 24 hrs in 3 days. good one. Its a joke with a customer. It implies any SERVICE stating 24 * 7, leads to 24 hrs in 7days.. be careful customers... Its a new concept.

        I am Dinkar G Gaikwad. My customer id number is[protected]. My set-top
        box is not functioning properly. I have been registering complaint
        since June 10, 2010. Your engineer came to my house to check it. He
        told me the box would be replaced soon. The set-top box is not yet
        been replaced. I have been registering complaints since then. Please
        help me in this situation.

        Airtel DTH — Regarding the problem with the DTH Services and equipment

        I have bought a new Airtel DTH connection on 7 July 2010.One day after another there has been some or the other problems. I am myself a doctor at AIIMS,New Delhi.I can not waste my time lodging complaints and waiting for the engineers to attend the probblems.One day there is problem of person not coming on time to attend the complaint and then the remote stops working.This is not the way that I had thought of working of BHARTI TELEMEDIA Limited. I Want to emphasize that I am feeling cheated and Harassed because of the services and the equipment being provided which goes worse within 10 days of buying.I have completely wasted my whole weekend looking into one problem or another. a very very bad experience.

        my customer id for airtel dth is [protected].Despite repeated complaints the problem of SIGNAL LOCK is not being resolved .Service engineer came to attend this problem once and he succeeded to get over this problem that time .But just after 15 minutes of he left my residence ,this problem again started.From that time till now I have made complaint three times to the company but no technician turned up to attend .There is no response of my complain from company side also as they are not contacting me on my mobile phone .
        I think that someone is responsible for all this and he/she should be taken up under disciplinary action .

        I agree with the comments. I am also repenting by installing airtail DTH. Thank GOD I left the idea of installing another DTH for my 2nd TV. Even a small rainfall or cloudy weather the signals does not receive. I am from Dharamshala, Kangra (HP). My customer ID is [protected] and my contact no is [protected]. Please airtail CEO can you look into this matter. Now I am suggesting people not go for airtail DTH due to poor reception and services. GOD help them out

        I was amazed to hear exact 5.51 pm.But service engineer didnt turn up
        .I called call centre again and again I was promised that service engineer
        will visit on 10th septmebr at 10 am ...Again he didnt turn up ...
        Again I had called and was promised another time between
        1pm- 2pm ...Again I had called to ask about service engineer but again
        I was promised another time of 4.41 pm on 10th septmber .I am very
        much pissed off as whole day I kept waiting for service engineer and
        he didnt turn up ...I had bought airtel Dth only a month and half back
        and my etup box is not working at all .Airtel is a brandname and on
        this brand name I had bought the DTH connection but to my surprise,
        airtel is providing such a poor service by making customer fool and
        wasting his/her valuable time . Please let me know when can you
        replace my setup box and please adjust the amount for number of days

        My customer number is [protected] . It was installed a week back . Sinde it was installed i have signal problem and very frequently the signal was going off . I have raised complaint for two times and today some Engg. visted our house . I do not know what he did, not there is no signal in the TV . It was working some time but now the TV is dead . he told that you dish position was not good and we have to replace the position . For that we will chagre 300 . I do not know why i will pay again to him where its Airtel Engg. chhose to install the Dish .

        I completely agree the Engg. have very bad technical skills ... in fact i should say they are eligilble only for fitting screws and nothing more than that . They also does not know how to behave with customer . When asked why it is not working totally, he arggued and got engry and left the home .

        This is my first exprience with Airtl . Belive first exprience is the last exprience .

        I have been using Airtel DTH set-top box for the past 1-3/4 years. It went quite well for the first 1 year. Immediately after 1 year, the problems started with the STB. They have replaced the set thrice in the last 4 -5 months and the problem keeps recurring. Every time I complain with the cust care, they send the engineers and replace the existing STB with the old one and charge anywhere between 450-600 each time for no fault of mine. They give a guarantee for 6 months for their replaced old STB, but nowadays within weeks the problem is recurring and the service center people are asking for replacement charge of 450-600 and sometimes demand for more than that, and otherwise would threaten not to visit for repair. Although I never asked for replacement, they normally replace the STB and do not repair on site so that they can charge more from the customer every time. I have also written multiple mails to the Nodal office about this and made several calls and they have not responded to any of my mails so far and even when I call them, they just try to wash their hands by putting the blame on the service centers and sometimes make me wait for 10-15 minutes on call and then hang up the phone. Now, I have sent mails for disconnection and neither do they respond for the complaint nor do they disconnect and give me the refund. All that I want now is JUST DISCONNECTION from Airtel DTH, as I do not want to undergo any such pain in future wasting my time, money, and energy complaining for faulty service. ALSO, I WANT TO KNOW WHAT IS THE GUARANTEE AIRTEL GIVES FOR THE REPLACED STB AND WHAT ARE THE CHARGES THEY LEVY ON THE CUSTOMERS FOR REPAIR AND IF THEY CANNOT DO EVEN MINOR REPAIR FOR REPLACEMENT WHAT IS THE COST.

        AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — No service and response against several complaints

        Hello Sir/Madam,

        I have been facing a no signal for my Airtel digital tv connection from Bharti Airtel since 5 days. I have called the customer care reporting the same several time and have also registered complaints. Even after that I have called the customer care several time asking the status as to why the issue has not been resolved yet, but I have always been getting conflicting informations. Some time they say some engineer visited and sometimes they say the engineer did not get the time to visit. At one occasion my complaint got closed because some engineer without resolving the issue reported some false information and then I had to open another complaint.
        The customer support has been playing tricks like closing the initial complaint with false reports just to ensure that the complaint does not cross the service level agreement. This I think is a misrepresentation and needs some serious investigation.

        I hope this matter will be looked into seriously.

        i had a airtel digital tv connetion .last April 4 my airteldth displayed no signal.i tried to the useless customercare number 12150 on my reg.mobile .they gave a complaint request no.6941389 on 14 Ap.2011 and 6824870 on 11 Ap.2011 and6668407 on Ap.2011 .but in this time they not retify my dth problem.

        AIRTEL MOBILE:
        VERY VERY USELESS NETWORK SERVICE.

I made many number of calls to customer call and their mechnic visited twice and replaced HDMI cable. but of no use. they could not find what the fault .Now I want the set top box be replaced as early as possible as i am unable to view any channels at a stretch as it is very glaring and overlapping. I am very much disappointed with the sercvice airtel dth providing and they are not having technicians who could locate the problems as they are all at sea when problem arises.         My Airtel dth id is [protected]. Recently my dth showed some installation error. When I called up the local technician of your organization, I have been informed that this is due to change in satellite and the direction of the dish has to be changed and I HAVE TO PAY RS. 150/- FOR IT. I could not understand why should I pay for a change which your organization made. And I was not a party to the decision of changing staellite. Even then I paid and the technician changed the direction. But after few hours of the change, I have been facing problems in the dth. Some channels like Cartoon Network, of which I am a subscriber, shows setting error. Channels like Set Max goes off for few minutes showing setting error and then comes again. When it comes the picture is not good. It is like what happens during rain. And the worst part is your local technician has refused to visit my place saying that he has lots of office work for the last ten days.

        My complaint is against your local technician. Tell me if there is any provision of disconnecting Airtel dth service and getting my money back for the rest of the subscription period.

        Airtel — Irresponsible behavior of Service Professionals

        Hello Mr. Mittal,

        I would like to bring to your notice the irresponsible behavior of your professionals because of which we are facing problems.
        I am customer of Airtel broadband service, I want to transfer my connection to my wife's name.

        As suggested by call center we went to your customer service center and provided all the required document.

        After submitting the document , we did not get any intimation from Airtel.

        Since then we have been calling your call center every 2 days to know the status, each time call center gives some excuse or the other.

        They are not in a position to tell the exact reason for which the transfer is not happening.

        I asked your people to call me up but they do not bother to give a call back.

        I wish that there was some interface where we can got our request resolved in reasonable time, without much trouble to the customer.

        i have faced a vedio problem on last week[protected].I made a complain through c.care of airtel digital tv.problem resolved by airtel engineer but another problem persist, i.e. vedio comes after 4 to 5 seconds when to change channels. airtel engineer just threatning us when we told them regarding the problem.and told us if again will they come that will be chargeable,where as it is under warranty. and he was misbehaving with my home member.

            I have received the bill for the last month and my complain was that from the last 3 years i havent received any bil and i normally get the information to pay the bill by phone . . .
            but recently i found that in the current bill i have been charged the late payment charges of Rs 100 and i asked for the bill from the day i am using this no. as this means that i havent received any bill and when i get the call i normally make the payment and that means that with no fault of mine i have been paying the LPC with the bill, which is rediculous and whenever i call the cust services . . .after listening to my issue. . they inform me that the systems are doun and call after 24 hours. ..thatmeans whenever we call with the complicated issues . .ur representatives are not capable enough to help the customers and when u ask for the manager. .they hung up on you.
            So will request you to check all my bills and give me the waiver of all the LPC on the bills as if i will not get the satisfactory response. . i will write the mail to Mr. Mittal and i will go to the consumer court

                hii,
                I am using Airtel prepaid no. [protected] since july, 2008. I have never gone through special kinds of schemes or offers as i was not in need.
                First time in this month i thought to go through a scheme and i was cheated blindly.
                I recieved a msg from Airtel saying to recharge my no. by 19 rs to reduce call rates to 30/p for a month
                It was activated for a day and after then it was gone.
                I called Customer Care thrice and no one gave me a positive response and they disconnected my call thrice and now i cannot even connect my call to Airtel CCE.
                It is not the matter of 19/rs.Matter is how they are fooling and the kind of service that Airtel is providing.
                They have n no. of excuses to escape from there things...
                I know that most of the people would not be aware about the services Airtel is providing and fooling customers so I will be taking out this complaint in newspaper (HT) on sunday.
                Plz read and make other people aware too.
                Guyz & galz u can trust govt service in this regard as they can assist complaints if any.

                I received a message 2-3 times from 64611020 to my mobile no: 0-[protected]--------"Thanks for using (Subsriptions, TextBasedServices) subsription service on Airtel WAP. You've been charged Rs. 20. wap.mobifun.in. Please stop this immediately & deactivate any services activated by me knowingly or unknowingly as I am in roaming and my mobile is Nokia 1100 which does not support such features.

                  Sir,

                  This is Muraleetharan.R from Ernakulam, Kerala. I am using the prepaid Airtel connection. My mobile number is [protected]. The problem is I couldn't make any call to any mobile/landline while roaming. Even I couldn't make call to Airtel customer care. But incoming is working fine.

                  This is happening for all the Airtel customer who are all roaming particularly in Madurai, Tamilnadu. I made a call when I was roaming at Coimbatore and Karaikudi, Tamilnadu state. But the same is not possible when I was in Madurai.

                  I have complaint about this by calling 121 customer care(Tamilnadu) from Tamilnadu Airtel mobile 3 to 4 times and Kerala customer care also from my mobile. I didn't get any reply from them.

                  Tamilnadu customer care representative asked me to contact Kerala customer care and they said both network is different.


                  Can anyone please do the needful?

                  recently i received service message like jumaani neumarology (message: jumaani numerology service will be renewed in 2 days and you will be charged 30 rs for 30 days) service with out my knowledge they have charged Rs.30..00 even i did not subscribe for that service previously also...

                    its about the famous AIRTEL IN MEERUT CITY, u.p.These guys dont know how to use a computer given at their offices, after submitting your bill, they will not even update it and everyday you will get a call that you have to pay your bill, even they come 3-4 times at your place to tell you, Recenty these airtel Franchise MAHI COMMUNICATION, HARI LOK BUILDING, MEERUT, worker came at our house for bill n started fighting with us n shouting on the highest pich of his voice, n eventually our bill was already submitted, he created a scene, n the worst was whwn I ASKED WHAT IS YOUR NAME, THESE 2 GUYS TOLD ME HINDU NAMES BUT LATER ON WHEN A 3RD LIAR CAME HE SAID I'm A TEAM LEADER, WHEN A FRANCHISE DOES NOT HAVE TEAM LEADERS??????????????, THESE 2 GUYS TOLD US MUSLIM NAMES, WE WERE amazed, THE TEAM LEADER CONFESSED THAT WE TELL "HINDU" NAMES EARLIER, SO THAT MEANS IF THEY GET CAUGHT IN ANY ILLEGAL THING, THEY CAN DESTROY THE IMAGE OF HINDUS N WHEN THEY ARE MUSLIM, PEOPLE LIKE THIS PROVOKE THE COMMUNAL FELLINGS, SHAME ON THEM.they are destroying the company image by having like this.

                    I got a call from a person called Neha claiming to be from Airtel. She offered me a promotional scheme "Zero rental" for which I just had to pay Rs600 upfront to get it activated. The even sent a representative who handed over the forms which I signed and he gave me a copy of the same. There were four copies of which I got one as a record. This was done on Sunday 25th of October.

                    After that person left, I felt something was wrong and tried to call up this lady Neha but the phone just keeps on ringing. I have been trying to reach her for the past 2 days. The only link I have is her phone Number which is [protected]

                    I am not sure who should be blamed for this. Please beware of such callers.

                      This is to inform you that i am a regular customer of Airtel Postpaid services.But due to my job transfer i cancelled my subscription of airtel postpaid connection of my mobile no. [protected] on dated 10/01/09.I have the copy of Subscription Cancellation Request Receipt. S.No. is 0030087. & i have deposited my previous dues & bills. to Airtel Franchisee at Haridwar Shree Ganga Communication, 4 Chandra Charya Chowk, Ranipur More, Haridwar-249401. The cash receipt no. & date are as follows:-

                      It has been said to me that my all dues has cleared & there is no further payment due from my side & i will be getting my security deposit of Rs. 500/- with in 60 days but 95 days has been passed & i didnt get my security deposit till now. i had complained several times to customer care & that franchisee.But no one is responding in a proper way.

                      It is not the matter of Rs 500/- but it shoes the services & response what i am getting from such a big company Airtel. I never expect this from Airtel.

                      So my request is to kindly provide me my security deposit ASAP.

                        There was a call from airtel employee Varsha Shinde of Airtel Borivali office about a airtel corporate plan(corporate plan 49). (ph number: [protected] ). They sent a representative to our Navi Mumbai Mahape office (Core Projects & Technolgoies MBP MAHAPE). The agent came, collected documents and Rs 599 each from 5 o[censored]s. ( Total Rs 2995). After that there was no verification call or anything. The agent gave us a receipt on AIRTEL form with Verification number also.(verification and form number VF 861707).

                        This is plain forgery on the part of airtel.

                        I also got the call from varsha shinde regarding this and sent a representative to my office. The agent came, collected documents and Rs 599 each from 3 o[censored]s. ( Total Rs 1797). After that there was no verification call or anything. The agent gave us a receipt on AIRTEL form with Verification number also
                        There was a call from airtel employee raj of Airtel Borivali office about a airtel plan. (ph number: [protected], [protected] ). They sent a representative to our Vasai office . The agent came, collected documents and Rs 595 each from 3 o[censored]s. ( Total Rs 1, 785). After that there was no verification call or anything. The agent gave us a receipt on AIRTEL form with Verification number also.(verification and form number VF 3141061).
                        I also received a call for the same. a woman posing as an airtel representative and offering a really good plan (800 minutes of free talk time). But thanks to these posts i knew she is a fraud.

After that there was no verification call or anything. The agent gave us a receipt on AIRTEL form with Verification number also.(verification and form number MUM[protected]).
                        Now i know she is fraud and i lost my Rs. 5000. Kindly take care.

                        Today I got a call from [protected] and they are offer some good scheme which is too catchy to resist. But already my friend got similar experience and warned me ...
                        same happened with me, fraud females name farah from dombivili MA telecom [protected], [protected], they call with a lucrative plan, and cheat, iam more worried about my documents, if anybody receives a call like, please play along with them and call their executive to collect doucuments at borivali, i know the police officers here, you call CALL ME ON [protected] AMEY SANKHE, WE CAN GET HOLD OF THESE PEOPLE AND HAND THEM TO THE POLICE!!!

                          I purchased a SAMSUNG 40" TV on 25.12.2008.Airtel DTH was offered as bundle offerfor five months, and connection was given on 02.01.2009.I was given south jumbo pack.after two and half month they disconnected the service.On enquiry over the phone and e-mail I was told that I used their service and as my account showed negative balance of Rs.504.35, my connection could be restored only after paying the balance.
                          My question is how I could have use their service apartfrom useing their free south jumbo pack? Even if I have used any of their payment oriented service as per their claim what are they? when and how?.
                          Despite my repeated e-mails they did not give me any details about my account except repeatedly stating that I have to pay Rs.504.35, and though my connection is valid for five months they have stopped the service from March.
                          Under the circumstances I kindly request you to do the needfull.

                            This is regarding the bill dispute for which I had furnished a legal notice to Airtel, sent by registered speed post to Airtel corporate office New Delhi and delivered in-person at Airtel Head Office in Mohali. The disputed bill is for the number 91-[protected].

                            I was assured by lawyer representing Airtel in Chandigarh, Mr Saurabh Mishra (91-[protected]), that my case is closed, and Airtel is not proceeding with any case. This was confirmed to on 16th March 2009, Monday.
                            I had even offered to pay any outstanding amount for settlement of the issue, but, Mr Mishra assured me that Airtel executives will inform me about the settlement amount.

                            And there was absolute lull for next one month before this nightmare started.

                            My parents and I, received continuous calls from executives claiming to represent Airtel.

                            The language and tone that was used was highly objectionable and abusive. I'm going to lodge a formal FIR naming the people who made these calls. I have prepared stamped affidavit and also submitted a CD of the recorded calls to the digital Forensic Science Laboratory. Once they certify the authenticity of the calls that I recorded I can submit these recordings as evidence in court.

                            FYI: I'm not proceeding to Consumer Court or Consumer Forum, this category of mental harassment and threats of physical intimidation, fall in the domain of Criminal offense under the Indian Penal Code.
                            Continuous calls were made on 8th 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th April.

                            Calls made by following people from the mentioned mobile numbers.
                            Ram Mehar Singh: 91-[protected]
                            Refused to reveal his credentials

                            AK Sharma: 91-[protected] (yes, it is the same as Ram Mehar Singh's number)
                            claimed that he is a Public Prosecutor and doesnt represent Airtel. He claimed to be Govt employee at
                            District courts New Delhi.

                            Balbir Singh: 91-[protected]
                            Court Procedure Incharge

                            Mr AK Sharma, also gave me his email id, and told me to send him a scanned receipt received on payment of bill. ad_ak.[protected]@yahoo.co.in

                            I have provided these names and numbers to Mr Saurabh Mishra.

                            They called my parents, who are senior citizens and have nothing to do with this bill dispute. My parents'
                            mobile numbers are: 91-[protected], 91-[protected]. They are aged 65 and live 90 kilometers away from my residence in Chandigarh. This is purely an act of harrassment with willful intention to intimidate senior citizens! The above mentioned callers used foul language and horrible verbiage. My parents provided my mobile number (91-[protected]) to these guys. Still, they gave calls to my parents' number!
                            Can anybody answer this at Airtel?

                            The above-mentioned miscreants will have to pay for their actions, even if they have to pay by their nose
                            now. I have recorded the call made by one claiming to be Ram Mehar Singh. He called me on Saturday
                            afternoon, and used the most filthy and abusive language that I've ever heard!

                            Though I asked him repeatedly to verify his credentials or let me know the company he represented, he
                            explicitly refused to answer my questions and continued with his loud, uncouth rural haryanavi accented
                            threats!

                            FYI: I continuously dialled the number of Airtel Nodal Officer for Punjab Circle from 9:30 AM to 12:30 noon
                            on 13th April, Monday, 2009. The number was either busy or no reply. 91 [protected].

                            I want an immdiate and strict action taken against these people!

                            Yes, these people have called my mobile too, I have closed my Airtel landline connection wayback in 2009 and suddenly you get a call from these persons Balbir singh and CK Oberoi[protected] and claim that i have to come to Delhi Lok adalat court by the next day. These kind of people needs to be punished under law. Airtel has once again proved to be a fraudulant company. I strongly recommend not to use any of their products / services

                              Dear Sir/Madam,

                              I gave request for deactivation on 21 march 2009, I have no dues, the number is deactivated on 25th march.. but still now I did not receive my deposit amount.

                              I would like to get my money back in time and if it is getting late i would like to know the reason why it is getting late to give my deposit amount.

                              If there is any clause or rules stated from your side for the duration of time required by the company to give the deposit amount back please let me know the clause and rules in reply for this letter because i would like to know the complete procedure and the time taken by the company for settling the deposit money.

                              I hope i will get proper reply and proper reason for the company holding my money and getting it delayed, if it getting delayed this letter will be a proof of mine and i will proceed to the consumer court for making the consumer experiencing a bitter experience with the company and i am fed up making repeated calls and making emails repeatedly and do not get any proper response back.

                                  This is in reference to complaint numbers 538176 and 548829 registered with Airtel Digital TV in the month of January and February 2009. I was given a Airtel Digital TV Recharge Voucher worth Rs. 500( Serial No. [protected]) by the dealer which on recharging turned out to be an invalid recharge voucher. I was told by the dealer to lodge a complaint for this with AIRTEL and i did so and got the above two complaint numbers. On both ocassions, after a week's time, since the lodging of the complaint, I was called by by the AIRTEL saying that your issue has been solved and you can now try recharging it again with that voucher. But again it ended up unsuccessfull. When I tried to lodge the complaint for the 3rd time, I was told to return the voucher to the local dealer and he will provide me with a new recharge voucher of same value. But on doing so, the local dealer is saying that I have to lodge a fresh complaint for this. I am really upset and fed up of the way the issues are being sorted and till now no solution has been rendered to me nor any compensation for my Rs 500 Recharge Voucher.

                                  I have too gone thru the same menace,
                                  but the TATA SKY service is worst ever I experience, may be their system is always pathetic, I have TATA SKY connection since they started its operation in Delhi region.
                                  Airtel now becoming more like same, its also has poor customer care service least concern to its custome, poor site, illogically late operation of Account dptt.
                                  Overall they all here to extract money from the masses.
                                  Govt should have basic guidelines to all the bigger group, those trying to dictate or confiscate our entertainment rights.
                                  Poor operation all around, I am not completely disappointed, they have to come up from their negligence, otherwise be ready to face the challenge.

                                      Sir,

                                      My Customer I.D. No. is [protected]. I had purchased a Digital T.V. Set Top Box on 15th Jan, 2009 vide my Card of Rs.1750/- No. [protected] and Card Sl. No. [protected]. Initially company has credited the amount in some other account. After one week I have got the connection. Company has given 3 months subscription free. Now after that on 21st April, 2009 I have recharged my account with Rs.250/-, but company has disconnected my connection saying that my account is showing (-) balance i.e. Rs.1750/-. I am in strange that how my account is showing (-) Rs.1750/- and from that date i.e. 21.04.2009 my set is dead. I have registered complaint two times vide complaint no.656778 and 657111. They are saying that after some days your set will be connected. I am suffer WITHOUT MY FAULT as I had spent a large amount for my enjoyment but till the date of purchase I am in tention because of this.

                                      I request you Sir, please solve my problem and clear my account so I have not suffer any problem in future.

                                        My Name is Anurag Abhinav and I am a long time subscriber of Airtel for the past four years. I have a post paid mobile connection with Airtel and I am highly dissatisfied with the behavior of Airtel Customer Care Representatives and collection agents as well as the services I am receiving from Airtel from past four years.

                                        My bill amount is always very high and always track my usage records of my Airtel postpaid mobile services. However, most of the time, I get the bill amount unexpectedly very high and beyond my expectation on the Airtel monthly invoice.

                                        In-between my services with Airtel, I requested two times to cancel my Airtel mobile service as I do not want to continue receiving services from Airtel due to wrong bill charges, very poor customer services, terrible behavior of Airtel customer Executives and Collection Agents. Whenever I requested to cancel my services permanently and I am ready to make my final settlement payment; but Airtel executives always dishonored my request and forced me to continue the services and not to cancel the services in spite of that I never wanted to continue this worthless service with Airtel.

                                        I am not using my mobile postpaid services from past three months but then also I got an overall past due bill amount of Rs.1906.00 without any usage. Airtel most of the time charged me incorrectly. Without giving me information, executives directly reaches my residence to collect the amount due, in spite of I always paid my bills on time and if it is late, then also I made my payments with the complete applicable late fine charges. Within my service period, Airtel mostly charged me for those services which I never requested to provide me like.

                                        They regularly charged me for the Hello Tunes on monthly basis...but I had never requested for proving me this service on my mobile. Airtel Always charged me for missed call Alerts services on monthly basis, but I never requested them to provide me this facility, Airtel regularly charged me for Internet and data services, however, I never requested Airtel to activate these services on my mobile number. I am just fed up using the horrible telecom services of Airtel and wish to get out of Airtel without wasting even a single second as I am continuously being cheated by them.

                                        This is the second time I am receiving a letter from Airtel for making the payment against my overall due balance remaining on my Airtel mobile postpaid service account. Two representative’s numbers and names are also mentioned there in the letter for the clarifications if any. From last 5 to 6 days I am continuously trying to contact those Airtel representatives on the given contact numbers but they never receives the phones and it always continuous ringing and ringing.

                                        I immediately want to make the payment against the overall incorrect total due amount charged on my mobile postpaid service account; and wish to cancel the mobile service with Airtel with immediate effect. But, the representatives not receiving my call and I am trying to contact them from past 5 to 6 days.

                                        When they are not ready to receive their customer’s calls on their contact numbers then, why the hell their names and phone numbers are mentioned on the letter Airtel sent me twice. Ridiculous service and worst customer service amongst all the leading telecom service providers in this country.

                                        Today morning, again I tried to make the call to the give contact numbers of the Airtel executives, and fortunately on the second number, my call was picked up by one of the Airtel’s customer representative. I requested him to come and please collect the final payment against my postpaid mobile service and cancel the service with immediate effect. Then he replied very badly that go and make the payment in the nearest retail centre of Airtel in your area.

                                        I told him that I don’t get enough time after my official works schedules and due to which, I won’t be able to go and make the payment in your retail centre. So, kindly come and receive the payment from me through the cheque and cancel my service with immediate effect after receiving full and final payment against the total due balance reflecting on my Airtel mobile Postpaid service account.

                                        The rep said.., I will not come today and give me a call again tomorrow in the morning in this regard. He also told me that why don’t you contact the other executive who’s number is mentioned on the letter. I was shocked and amazed that even being such a long time customer of Airtel, which kind of customer service and behaviour I am receiving from these Airtel reps.

                                        I am ready to make the payment and they are not ready to come and the collect the payment from me and cancel my account. However, Airtel has enough time to send me letters and letters which contains threatening language pertaining that Airtel will pass the matter to their solicitors with instructions to commence legal proceedings and actions against me and the same will be done without further warning to me.

                                        Finally, I just wanted to mention here that I was; and I am, always ready to make the payment against the overall due balance amount reflecting on my Airtel Mobile Post Paid Service Account. The Airtel representative can come at my residence with prior intimation to me about their visit at my residence for collecting the payment from me and proving me confirmation proof that my Airtel Post Paid Mobile services got cancelled and closed with immediate effect after I make the payment.

                                        After closing my relationship with Airtel, I will never prefer to re-establish my any kind of relationship with Airtel Telecom Service Provider Company. In past four years of my relationship with Airtel, the experience I had with Airtel is very disappointing and dissatisfying.

                                        I wish Airtel all the very best and advice them to think over the words I had mentioned in this letter if they really wish to achieve the expectation level of their customers; else will lose their customer’s one by one like me.

                                        I did not get my mobile bill for the month of Aug-07. My mobile no is [protected]. Please send it on my e-mail so late fees can be avoided.
                                        Airtel Sucks!!!

                                        I've been with Airtel for 8 years (since 2001) and found that they just don't care. One day my number says 'it does not exist'... for now reason.

                                        No one could help me in their call centre either. I just cancelled it and went with another provider. I wish number portability comes soon...

                                        Dear Sir/Madam,

                                        I had done validity recharge of 1 year on my brother's number ([protected]) which is valid till April 2011. My brother was using other number time being but in between i had been doing recharge for Sending messages. Now on 16th November 2010 when we inserted the card in my phone, we are not getting any service. We took our complaint to the Airtel Gallery but they said that your number is cancelled as you have not used it for 5 months long time and as you have not outgoing calls.
                                        I have not got any intimation on my number or through letter about cancellation of my brother's number.

                                        We require the number back, but the airtel personnel's said that now you will not get the number.

                                        Kindly help us out.

                                        It is possible to get it back if it has not been assinged to anyone. Submit fresh documents at the Airtel customer relationship centre. Speak to them for further details.
