Airtel charging for unused services. Customer Care not helpful.

I use Airtel broadband for many years now. I shifted houses on 01-Jul-2013 following which I raised a request with Airtel (Request number[protected] on 04-Jul-2013 for relocation of the broadband line to my new address which is just 2 houses apart in the same street. Airtel customer care came back finally on 23-Jul-2013 saying the connection relocation is not possible due to no free lines in the hub (?!). I still do not understand - I have not requested a new connection for them to claim no free lines in the hub! It is a relocation request for 2 houses apart.

This is not the problem though. I asked them for a disconnection since the line transfer was not possible. But I was shocked to here they have charged me for the entire billing cycle for which I have not used their services. I have been asked to pay 1299 as per the plan before they can terminate the connection! I raised this with the Airtel customer care to understand why they charge me for a connection that I have not been using and for which I had raised a relocation request a clear 25 days back. Also I would like to understand why they have not comeback in a couple of days stating line transfer is not possible rather wait for 20 days to let me know that the transfer was not possible. These are clear indications of outright fraudulent ways of money making.

This is not expected from a organisation like Airtel. Shame on them!

AirTel — CHARGING FOR THE THE SERVICE NOT GIVEN

I am posting the details of my complaint which has not been addressed till date only promises were made but no reply-

7-Aug 1015 Received SMS from 64611099 thanking me for down loading java game and deducting Rs. 99 from my acct. 0.00
7-Aug 1027 I called 121 and gave complaint about the above mentioned message vide Complaint No.[protected] 7.09
8-Aug 1526 I called 121 but call dropped 0.10
8-Aug 1526 I called 121 to enquire about my complaint as I was promised for some solution result was zero. I was further promised that it would be replied at 1108 hrs on 12 Aug but I got no response 18.30
12-Aug 1656 Called 121 and asked about status of my complaint I was told that there was some problem in system of Airtel. I was suggested to call after 02 hrs. 3.26
12-Aug 1922 Called 121 and asked about status of my complaint but call dropped. 1.20
12-Aug 1924 Called 121 and Talked to Mr. James about status of my complaint I was further promised that it would be replied on 14 Aug but I got no response 12.54

25-Aug 1832 I called 121 and talked to Mr. Mallikarjun and Ms. Shobha to enquire about my complaint as I was promised for some solution, but result was zero. I was further promised that she (Ms. Shobha) herself would be replying after 02 hrs but she did not respond. 20.07
Hi Surendra,

I believe Airtel is conning its customers by arbitrarily sending such messages, and then deducting money from their balances. In fact, I have received one such message today from 64611099 informing that Rs 99 was being deducted from my balance for downloading JAVA games from AIRTEL Live Service when no such game was actually downloaded.

I have already lodged complaint with Airtel customer support, and the custmer support executive told me that I will receive a reply only by 21.10.2008 - mind you, only a reply, they never admit that they have committed a fraud here -.

I hope Airtel will refund the money fraudulently deducted from my balance. By the way, have you got the refund yet.

AirTel — Charging for services that I have not asked for

I have been subscribed by Airtel to packs I never asked for. I had never subscribed to the Christianity alerts, which I have been getting for months now. Every time I try to register a complaint I end up being redirected and in the end my complaint is not registered. The company should stop this service immediately and refund the total amount which has been deducted from my prepaid account for unasked for services. My number is [protected].

AirTel — Charging me for unused service

I am using an Airtel connection and from few days I have been charging Rs.10 everyday till date. so i want unsubscribe this service and want my balance to be refund. My mobile No. is [protected]. please do this for me on sympathic ground as I am very helpless.

I was advice on phone by Air tell representative to subscribe for hello tunes free of charge for one month. Therefore I applied for hello tunes. As soon as I applied for it I received SMS that rs 30/- have been detected from my account. I was also advised by same SMS that if I want to unsubscribe from it, Then I have to call them back with a Toll free no. Which I did as I wanted to get out of this offer. On doing this I was again charged rs. 30/- with a message that I have been unsubscribed from the service.When I wanted to ask them why I have been charged for unsubscribing, again rs . 30/- was charged and so on. I can understand that this could be due to computers related programs. I tried to contact the Air tell representative but could not.

2) I have also been charged for subscribing to jobs on mobile twice, which I have not asked for.

3) Therefore kindly look in to the matter favorably And refund the amount to my mobile account. Also please unsubscribe me from jobs on mobile and hello tune service.

AirTel — charging for service which was not asked for

My mobile no is [protected]. i have been charged with Rs. 30 for one month for audio cinema service which i had never subscribed. On speaking to the customer care , he arrogantly blamed me for the mishap instead of correcting and refunding the amount.

AIRTEL BROADBAND SERVICE — Shocked by Airtel Service

Hi,
I decided to take airtel broadband internet connection at my home and called their customer care center.And after calling them immediately they responded with nice behaviour and after a few mins one of their executive(Rajesh Amathi) called and asked for suitable time to visit my place.In that very evening he visited my room and after all the deiscussion he took Rs 2000 for the connection on 12th Oct 2009.he gave me doc ref number :231871 .And he told me that I would get the connection with in 3 working days(MAX).After one day I got verifiaction call from Airtel.
But When I did not get any further call from Airtel I called Airtel CC again and As per Airtel CC the maximum no of lines provided by the DP [delivery point] at our location exceeded the limit.So I can not get the connection.
So Iasked for my 2000 RS back and they told me that I will get it after 7-15 days.
My point of concern is that if I'm not provided the connection then it is useless to stack my 2000 rs to their account.They should have proper info about their own capacity before wasting others time and money.Now I can not opt for other internet provider untill I got my money back.

AirTel — Airtel charging for customer care support

Looks like airtel dont have money to pay for customer care executives. they are charging 50p for 3 mins when calling 121. this is not right. speak up.
Hi,

Its really bad about Airtel Service. I am going to throw my Airtel SIM and I will do the same for around 5 Airtel SIM(My Parents, Wife, Sister, brother) and move to some other service provider.

I think Airtel start BEGGING their customer and started cheating their customer like they charge some amount when we recharge the fee and now it seems that they started charging for CUSTOMER CARE.

No Other network doing such a kind of stuffs. NEVER GOING to use AIRTEL SERVICE ANY MORE AT ALL.
