[Resolved] Airtel — Friendz Chat | |
Dear Sir/Mam, I recieved a message from Airtel about friendz chat. I decided to know more about that, so I called a number '5432160' which was given by airtel. When I called that number they provided two option: Option '1' to know more about friendz chat and Option '2' to log in. I pressed the option '1' and i hired a recorded voice. After 80 seconds I disconnected the call. After three hours I got a message from Airtel indicating that I have subscribed for friendz chat also they have deducted Rs 30/- from my account. Without any proper guidance and without any confirmation from me, they have cheated me. Dont know for how many of customers they did this. every month from air tel friendz chat u are deducting 30 rupees. since I am not at all using this.
so here after do not deduct any amount from my number. i[censored] deduct once again I am going to
make a complaint to consumer court. and also do not send SMS from friendz chat.

Hey! what is this? I am a consumer of "Airtel Friendz Chat" scheme, but when I call a chat user and he/she is busy or out of this service, I am still charged. Not only this, but most of the chat Ids/User Numbers given by airtel as 'most rated Ids of the day' had been logged of from this service and I am still charged. Stop this type of cheating please!

Same thing has happened to me. I got meesage that to unsubscribe send STOP Sms to 121.When I had sent the sms I got reply that due to technical reason my request cannot be entertained till 10th September.
Airtal is really cheating the customers. I do not know how can I get my phone unsubscribed.

I think that there is no use of friend chat so just deactivate d airtel friend chat service.i deactivated it many times but still it get activated many times &my money get deducted.when ever i recharge my mobile balance get deducted.just deactivate it right know.my no [protected]

It was accidental I just opened it as I was curious wahat the offer is.

Airtel is the biggest fraud company in India. They make money by hook and crook.Dummy Ids are sending friendz chat SMS and trying to lure the young people so that they get in the loop and thus Airtel earns Crores of rupees. They are the cheaters and fool people.
Just remove the Airtel connection and go with better operator who is professional and not the cheater, they must get [censored]ed by all Indian People, Airtel is not a good company, just delete their account from your life and then see your life becomes blissfull

I am a prepaid user of airtel mobile services. eventhough i have not subscribed to Airtelfriendz option Airtel have made me a subscriber to this chat group. I tried calling their customer service and many other airtel numbers but i have not been asble to get through. After 10days chat option which i didnot use i received a sms that my subscription to airtelfriendz will be renewed. i tried to unsubscribe using the'stop' option but it is not successful. with all this i have unnecessarily been charged Rs10/+ Rs.30/- for this subscription.i am deeply angered and pained by this money making gimmicks floated by this mobile company . I would like to be refunded the amount as quickly as possible

i thought this friends chat thing would give me some discount on the sms that i send to my friends.. so on the mobile net i clicked it.just to see more information about it n these airtel without even warning me subscribe or without me agreeing to it. they should have smsd me to confirm if i really wanted it. but the sm i get was the i lost 10rs at first then now today morning i lost 30rd.. ooo this crap artel.. im pretty much pissed off with them im changing my operator.. probably go get vodafon or somthing.

u can do sms but when u will call no one will recieve n will do sms saying " i m busy but u can sms me 1 rs/sms", , , same number can sms u 24 hrs a day..
this is real job done by M/s airtel.
