Due to such spams on my mobile from AIRTEL.
I'm quiting my cell phone number. Looking forward to get new provider who don;t spam.
Its annoying..is there any way this alert can be deactivated. any suggestions..Sad to hear Airtel cannot do anything about it.
I am using Airtel prepaid. My no. is [protected]. I am getting unwanted cricket messages and I am charged for it. I called their customer service. They promised to stop those messages, but even after 2 months they have still not done that. I tried calling the customer service but they are not reachable. Please do something to stop those annoying messages and get them to refund the money they have been charging for it.

So far Idea is the best provider I found.

    I am poor airtel customer Having FWP no [protected].

    I have taken this connection in 2006.

    I have promised for the following service

    1.Local and std calls 2.SMS both incoming and out going 3.Internet with low speed.

    I have been promptly paying the same till now.

    Last six month I got following problem

    1.Back up battery time very low 2.sms not working 3.from day 1 unable to connect Internet.


    In this regards i have gave more than 40 complaints, still problem exist.

    ONE MORE BIG COMPLIANT AGAINST AIRTEL one of your dealer cheated me saying that FWB Phone got add on card No
    [protected].
    Which has been activated and stolen 250/= also.


    In this regards we spoke to Mr.Miduhin Today he Told me following


    1.phone HAS TO GIVE IT TO SANTHOME OFFICE .

    It will take Minimum 3 to 4 days Time for repairing.

    Allegation Against Airtel

    1.Product has been sold customer has been kept for hold for 6 months.

    2.UNABLE to serve the customer product promised.

    Hence we are approaching Consumer court and Clim Minimum of 2lakhs against this problem if answer is not received from you with in 24hrs.

    a new tower is installing beside our building i want to put objection on installation if some thing happens to the tower i will fell because building constructed is not of good quality so i think first check the building strength then install it is airtel tower

    i have been told by airtel executive(customer care) that mobile will be reactivated so i paid additional charges to activate it..it has been a week after since we did not get it activated...Trying to reach to your office and customer care postpaid but there is no proper response from any one..Please help us out.Number is [protected].
    Airtel is always cheating all its customers. I also got a PRI Combo in November 2009 but they gave me only the connection for telephone but i need this only for broad band but the broad band was installed only on Feb, 2010 1st week. In the meanwhile they are sending bills for the period of Dec to Jan 2010 without giving connection.and they also barred my out going and incoming calls.
    FOR GETTING NEW CONNECTION THEY WILL COME TO US AND BEG FOR THE CONNECTION AFTER THAT NO ONE IS COMING WE WILL HAVE TO CHASE THEM FOR ANY PROBLEMS.

    Senior Official if anyone will really look into the matter.

    I am Latha A Krishnan called the Customer Service Manager Ms. Anitha on her mobile [protected] at 1.00PM. I was conversing with her on the problem that we face for payment, she hung the phone down, she disconnected the call. If a Manager has an attitude like this how do we expect the subordinates who work in call centre to be soft spoken, they are also rude to the core.
    My problem is
    Airtel Online payment system is not been working for the last few months, we do the payment online, it takes money from our bank a/c, and after 2 days it says it is still processing, the gateway does not work at all.

    When Bharti airtel tells proudly that they have 1 crore customers they need to service the customers more carefully. The call centre executives as well people working in the Airtel stores are equally arrogant and rude.

    I hope they would take some action after they see such complaints and correct themselves.

    Airtel — Phone Number not working beyond chennai

    My Airtel prepaid number is [protected].

    I am residing at Chennai and it is working fine at Chennai only. When I am out of the city, there is no signal or coverage. When dialled I am repeatedly getting the message "Contact your service provider". This problem is there for more than a year.

    I have already made so many complaints, but of no use. They are not giving the right information. Even I have changed my handset, the same problem still persists. I have checked my Nokia handset at Nokia Centre. They told me that my handset is fine and asked me to contact service provider.

    When contacted Airtel (Ref No.COUTL[protected]), they have sent reply sms stating that they have taken survey and the coverage will be enhanced in the next phase of expansion.

    I have never complained them that there is no coverage in Chennai. But only when I am leaving Chennai there is problem. I donot know what is the exact problem. Kindly do the needful at the earliest for me to use my mobile beyond Chennai. I hope that the problem is rectified at the earliest.
    Im Balaguru from villivakkam enquired for new broadband connection and they came next day, got the payment and thats allllll...Nothing worked for another three weeks.After they are telling that they are going to refund the money and that also will be refunded only after two weeks?????????

    Hi I am mishal from gopalapuram.one of our executive came to Airtel connection in my home and he got 1299/- from me.after two weeks I called for an connection.but one guy from customer care said tht we can't give connection in your connection in your area.but it's an VVIP area.wht stupid reason is this.?they said we will refund your cash within 2 weeks.but. Almost 4 months over.still I didn't get my refund. Airtel officers Bludy cheater. Shameless people

    My number is [protected]. I have ported my service provider from Aircel to Airtel due to Aircel signal issue in siruseri. I have given my documents, and porting number on 2nd Feb. The airtel representative sits in cognizant siruseri office. When i called him he informed me to come to Tnagar on saturday (2nd Feb-2013). When i went to tnagar waited for 1hr he told me to come to CIT nagar, then i went to CIT nagar and submitted him the documents near to his home. He told me that the documents will send on the same day that is on saturday. When i enquired him on monday 4th Feb he told me the documents will be sent only on monday evening. I called to the airtel agent on 11th Feb to know the status, he gave me the SIM card, and he told me it will get activated shortly.

    I then called Aircel they told me to pay the remaining balance with some excess amount, i paid it on the same day. I called to Airtel customer care and asked for the status they told me nothing is there in the database for my mobile number, and i need to get the order number or account number from the agent to check the status. When i asked about the order number and account number to the Airtel executive, he told me that it is highly confidential and not to be shared. When i asked his team lead number he said its highly confidential.He is not reachab
    le most of the times, and dont give the right information. Till now i dont have any update on what is happening on the porting.

    Hi Sir/Madam,

    This is regarding the new broadband internet connection which I booked before a week and I have no response from your representatives as of now.
    I have paid Rs 1200 to your airtel representative Mr. Ezhillarasan of Santhome branch Chennai and he promised that free Wi-Fi modem connection will be provided with 2 mbps speed in 2 or 3 days.
    It has been a week time and there is no response when I call your guys for enquiry.

    Airtel being a reputed company, I feel very disappointed with the quality of service provided.

    I request you to refund my amount as it is very disgusting to follow up with your representatives as they don’t even pick up the call ([protected]).

    My phone number is [protected]. I have ported my network from Vodafone to Airtel. I was given a SIM Card at that time that was before 2 weeks from today. On 3/8/2015 i received the email that my Porting Request was accepted and porting time is[protected]:05.884 for mobile number 91-[protected]. As mentioned my Vodafone sim got deactivated. However my Airtel SIM that was given to me does not work. When i called to the Customer Care i was told that the SIM number that they have in the records and the SIM that was provided to me is different so they cannot process it as i have a Different SIM and I was guided to go to Customer Care Office.

    I went to customer care Office in Nungambakkam and spoke to them and found that they cannot help me with this, as because the SIM number is different, Also they helped me in finding the Franchise which gave me that SIM. And found that it as a R.R.Consultants in thiruvottiyur and also provided me with the number to call NIRMAL who works in thiruvotiyur Office. Contacted NIRMAL but he never helped and gave MANY MANY FAKE PROMISES like i will get the SIM CARD in 20 mins so that i can Activate it.

    I have been with no Mobile number for 24 hours.

    Later when i called him he said that i will get the SIM by tomorow morning. But i dont want to get from them. Will go to Head office tomorow will check.

      Hi am recently subscribed to airtel post paid([protected]) service in Hyderabad, AP. when i applied for the connection they ask me to submit my Credit card zerox instead of refundable deposit and they told that is only for the proof but they don't deduct any amount from credit card, they have a right to deduct if i am unable to pay the amount even after the last date of my payment .but i received a bill of RS 423.94 for 11-December-2008, so my last date of payment was 30-DEC-2008, when i approach airtel show room to pay the bill, they said i have to pay RS 423.94 . i paid the amount on 30-Dec-2008 through Barclay's bank .here the thing is they already deducted RS 423.94 from my HDFC credit card without any information on 29-DEC-2008(even the show room people also not informed me regarding the payment they have deducted amount from my HDFC credit card on 29-DEC-2008, they again taken the amount on 30-DEC-2008 ).

I have submitted document along with deposit amount Rs.500/- to Airtel Executive Mr.Ranjit his no.[protected] from Himayat Nagar Branch, hyderabad. I have applied 12 days ago. No responce from executive mobile no. Please let me know that status. Please take necessary action as early as possible.

        this is sk imtiyaz iam useing airtel no [protected] last 4years...first this no is prepaid no but i am change to post paid at that time isubbmited all daquments..so they(airtel) accept my all dqument and then given post paid conection...suddenly 28th dec 08 my sim was stoped9(means..unregeistered sim)
        and iam going to airtel show room and tell the probem..but they do not slove the my problem till now ...and one thing i am my paying bill time to time with out faill...and this problem i am looosing my business, my job also... and iam going to last 1 week... they did nt slove my problem...so i deside to go to conusmer court... please sir under stant my problem...pls slove my problem...

          Frankly speaking, I am absolutely sick and tired of Airtel's fraudulent billing for the broadband and landline connection. I would strongly recommend any one who is considering taking their connection to stay away from it.
          I took an Airtel Broadband 'Combo' plan of 499 two months back only two months back and I have had such headache dealing with their billing and catching them pants down that I am now just too tired of it and just want to get rid of the connection. Once you take a connection, it becomes another problem to keep changing your landline number.
          In the first month, I paid them Rs 1000 but when the bill came it showed I had paid only Rs 500 and then it took 25 phone calls back and forth to get it sorted out. They said it was a 'system error'. Last month, the billing details were thoroughly unrealistic but I gave them some benefit of doubt. In the second month I got details of volume of download that is humanly impossible and since I leave alone, no one else could have used it. For the landline which I hardly ever use, I have got a long list of calls for 1147 seconds to numbers that are completely unfamiliar and a list of calls to mobile phones (for 121 minutes) that have nothing to do with me. I actually called up those numbers to be reassured that I have nothing to do with them. After lodging a billing complaint with them, no one has got back to me this time over the past one week. I wonder what is going on and this is just plain mental torture.

          WE SUBSCRIBED TO THE COMBO OFFER.TWO MONTHS AGO. WE RECEIVED NORMAL BILLS (RS 635) .WE DID NOT RECEIVE BILL FOR ONE MONTH.WERE SHOCKED TO FIND TO BE BILLED WITH RS 3500 /-.WE STOPED PAYMENT AND ASKED TO BE GIVEN CALL DETAILS.THE OPERATOR SWEETLY SENT ME THE CALL DEATILS WHICH I LATER FOUND OUT TO BE OF SOMEBODY ELSES NUMBER.AIRTEL STAFF DECLINED FURTHER REQUESTS FOR THE DETAILED BILLS AND THREATHENED (ESPECIALLY NAMELY RITU WHO WAS ABUSIVE AND SPOKE LIKE A GANGSTER WOMEN DON).I AM AMAZED AT THE LEVEL AIR TEL HAS STOOPED TO INTIMIDATE CLIENTS ALLOWING ITS FEMALE STAFF TO CALL ITS CLIENTS NAMES.SHE EVEN WENT ON TO CALL ALL THE PEOPLE ON THE CALL LIST TO MISINFORM/ABUSE PEOPLE ABOUT US.WE AS RESPECTABLE CITIZEN WOULD LIKE TO CLEAR OUR BILL BUT WE SHOULD BE PROVIDED CLARITY ABOUT THE BILLS.I WOULD FURTHER LIKE TO ASK PEOPLE TO COME OUT WITH SIMILER FACED PROBLEMS AND REPORT THIS ANARCHY TO CONSUMER COURT AS WE HAVE ALREADY PLANNED

          Airtel Broadband — Fraudulent Airtel Billing

          I had an AIRTEL BROADBAND Connection in Delhi with A/C No. 14726048 for two months until 22nd May 2009 when I decided to apply for disconnection since the place where i was shifting to didn't have Airtel connectivity.

          After promising that my request would be quicky processed and after answering their tiring queries more than 8 times I am still getting bills inspite of leaving the rented premises on 28th May itself!! and clearing the due payments.

          Forget about returing my security deposit these useless Airtel guys haven't still disconnected the broadband service. I appeal to all people who are victim's of Airtel fraud to come together ( I stay in Delhi) and we should either approach TRAI or the High Court directly to teach this fraudulent compnay a lesson.

          I know innumerable people like me are being harassed by the foul mouthed Airtel execs so I appeal to all instead of pleading with Airtel at these forums, which is of no use, we should unite and immediately launch a dharna in front of India Gate to let people know of the fraudelent practices of Airtel.

          Airtel — Fraud communications and false billing

          Hi,

          I am using the airtel services from 5 years, now a days I am facing various problems with airtel regarding the bill payments, false billing, no updates of

          my account in the database no proper mchek service. Inspite of all the its not easy thing to change the number. If I would have get other company service

          with the same number I would have definetly change to it.

          In October 2009 I have changed from prepaid to postpaid for that they charged me 500rs said it is a deposit,
          from Oct to Jan 2010 I have not recevied any itemised bill but they started sending the messages for the bill payments, but as a good customer I have paid

          what they said without any bill proof. On 9Jan2010 I again changed from postpaid to CUG 199(HSBC) account, they said the bill date is 10jan so the bill has

          not generated so I need to pay excess amount for conversion and the excess amount will be adjusted in next billing cycle so they charged me 1400rs+300

          deposit.

          From January 2010 I am getting the bills regularly to mail ID, but the excess which I amount is not adjusted to the bill and in Feb month bill they charged

          60rs for one SMS with some number, god only knows which SMS is so much costly I never send SMS to any advertisements even though I got charged. I brought

          the same to their notice they said its in the bill we cant do any thing.

          Till now I called several time the customer care and also visited outlets, they are saying that the information is not there in our database so we cant

          refund the amount which I paid in excess and also they said that the amount 500 is charged for prepaid to postpaid conversion so that amount also they cant

          give 500 back.

          I am very fed up with all these, I am hoping these issues will be resolved after this mail. If the same continues I am looking to take this issue to the

          consumer court with all the proof which I have.

          Hello,

          I have had an airtel connection for the last 8 years. I have availed additional services during this time, one of the services was the 'mobile office' internet access on mobile service which costs me rs 599/month. today however when i checked the airtel site i came to know that the service now costs only Rs 98 per month and when i called the service center they mentioned that this has been around for atleast 3 months or more. my complaint is that inspite of airtel dropping the price for the service they continued to charge me the old rate and their explanation is that ' they are advertisements on tv for the same' and that they didnt communicate a crucial matter like this to me as im listed for the 'do not disturb service'.

          I would like to take this matter up, please let me know what can be done.

          I am pretty frustrated with the consumer care of Airtel and that is the sole reason that I am writing here. I opted for 1299/- (2MBPS) plan of Airtel Broadband in July 2010 and since then I have been dealing with problems. First they gave me a 899/- plan and sent me huge bills. The mistake was corrected after many calls to their consumer care and I had to go through a lot of tension. Then they started billing me on some DSL charges for which I never opted. First they asked me to submit whatever I felt right and told me that balance will be adjusted. It was around Rs 200/- per month and currently stands at 1000/-. Last month (ie November) I received a hard copy form Airtel saying that the then balance of 800/- will be adjusted in next bill and I was asked to pay rest of the amount.
          I did the same hoping that I will receive an adjustment of 800/- in my account. In the same period my services were barred for 11 days (in month of Dec.) as I had not submittted the bill. I had clearly communicated in my mails to [protected]@airtel.in that my bill is wrong and I cannot pay that. My complaints were registered for which I have proofs.

          Now, when I receive bill for month of Dec I find that neither those 800/- have been adjusted nor I have received any adjustment for the period for which my services are barred. It was mistake on their side in billing which prevented me in submitting the bill. On top of that Airtel is still billing me on DSL charges for which they have already provided me a hard copy for the waiver. Currently the extra fraudulent amount in my bill stands at arouund 1600/- (including 800/- DSL + this month's 200/- DSL and charges for 11 days for which services were barred due to their mistake). I have spent hours on phone call with their customer care but in vain. None of the managers are available and each time I have to explain all the details.

          I am very unhappy with the services and my life and work is getting affected. I request you to help me with this.

          This attitude of Airtel is common. They just sell the product and don't worry about customer care. I had also faced same issue where they just stop your internet connection even though billing is wrong from their side.
          In my case, after many complaints I just refused to pay the bill and switched to another connection!
          They can't do anything against it since fault was their's and I had proof in written.
          Since you also have a written proof of their fault, they cannot do anything to you. So i suggest you give it one more try and if they are willing to make corrections then it is okay otherwise just do not pay the bill and switch to a new provider.

            My Airtel no. was [protected]. I shifted to Airtel in search of better service but due to some unavoidable reasons i had to get an Aircel connection and hence i filed a request to discontinue the number. The customer care executive told me to clear pending bills and i paid the bill amount on May 14, 2008 (Rs. 1788). The executive then told me that why dont you refer some friend of yours who can take this number and i referred a friend but no executive visited her for 10 days. The airtel customer care executives told me that your request has been filed and the number will be discontinued on May 29, 2008. Since they wanted me to transfer this no. to a friend, i kept the SIM active expecting a call from their executive and then finally stopped using the SIM. Now A lawyer calls up from Airtel and asks me to clear the pending bill of some Rs. 1000.
            I have always been a law abiding person and paid all the bills religiously. But why should i suffer for non response of customer care division of Airtel?? Can you please suggest a forum where this issue can be raised? I dont want to spend my hard earned money for company's inefficiency.

                      I had paid airtel an amount of Rs 6500 for the activation of ISD roaming on 5th May 2008 for the number [protected] as i was supposed to go to Australia. When i went there i found that the service had not been activated so when i came back i asked for a refund in the August 2008. i was told i will get that back by 28th August 2008 which i havent been refunded till date. when i refused to pay my bills of my connection my services were disconnected.also i have been after the customer care people but they are of no help to me.
                      i feel that airtel is a big cheat company and is haressing its customers well. i need my money back. findly tell me a way to get my money back

                            I was in Thailand from 12th Oct'08 to 16th Oct'08. Before leaving I checked up with Airtel customer service on phone and was informed that incoming calls will be charged about Rs.20 per minute and outgoing calls would be charged @ Rs.30 to 35 per minute on International Roaming. I was shocked while going thru the bill that outgoing calls were charged Rs.95 per minute and Incoming Rs.64 per minute. Even VAS SMS was charged @ Rs.4.40 per SMS. This was totally against what was informed and not as per the staus of company like Airtel.

                            I had made no. of complaints thru mail and on their site also. I had spoken to their customer service nos also but nothing has been done so far and my phone in blocked for outgoing charges.

I, have launched 3 complaints to Airtel customer Care centre. But still no action is taken to stop this matter.But I am surprised how a number could charge without subscribing to that service.
                                Now they have changed the name of subscription and starting harrasing by deducting R.s. 50/- by sending msgs that Thanks for download Java Game (igmobi.com). this is just disgusting on the part of AIRTEL Service's.
                                I, thought Bharti(AIRTEL) has no value of his coustomer's. i am using Airtel from last 5 Year's. But they have very poor respect for valued coustomers.
                                In the end I could say Perhaps AIRTEL has reached on this Positions by deducting Money from the customer's. They are not earning money from there Service's but deducting money in unlawfull means from customers.

                                Airtel got the worst customer care service...not sure about other states but is true Andhra Pradesh.I have recharged with RC 94 for internet activation in my mobile yesterday night at around 9:30 pm and its not activated till now(4:22 am). before activating the service I even contacted the customer care and they confirmed that the service will be activated instantly and trusting them I went ahead and had my mobile easy recharge with rc 94 but the service was not activated.received an instant message showing the confirmation about the rc 94 activation but when I try to browse from my mobile it shows an error "communication error" contacted the customer care and told me that my account is active and I have 100 MB to us which was not showing at all in my balance when I type *121*10# or some other number they gave me...contacted them again and other guy sent me settings again and asked me to save them switch off and switch on the mobile and it will be activated which did not work either .this process went for many times, contacting them, they sending the settings, turning off mobile and turning on but no luck.and after calling customer care from my number for 3 - 4 times, i was unable to call them again . when i call them it gives a default message saying sms airtel to 121.then I called customer care from one of colleagues number and this happened again . after 3 - 4 calls that number too was blocked, this repeated for almost 4 different numbers as I was unable to reach them from my number. finally I spoke in frustration and one customer care guy transferred the call to their supervisor and he asked me to sms my airtel to 121 and then i will be able to call customer care from my number.THE WORST PART IN THEIR SERVICE IS ... they will say please hold on and then they will disconnect the call without intimating or if you contact them for any problem they will simply tell you a solution which will be like head and tails and they will leave the call instantly coz they are not sure if the problem will be fixed or not. DAMN WORST PART in their customer care they shouldnt be given option to disconnect the customers call until customer disconnects or until customer permits them.finally called one more time (total calls to their customer care : definitely more than 23 times from 5 different numbers as each number was blocked after calling them 4 - 5 times) and other guy advised me to deactivate the service by typing *567*2# and then activate again from *567# and I have deactivated as he said and later when i went to activate it was showing me as new customer for internet and is asking for which plan i want, but I already paid and activated it . then I called to customer care again and explained this to other guy and he put me on hold without asking me for almost 3 minutes, while i was on hold i received a sms stating that "your internet service is active and you will be billed 30 paise / 50 kb with no monthly rental"which was ridiculous.then he took the call and said now it is activate...what does that mean...??? I asked him why is this showing like this when i have paid for a month and there should be 100 MB for me to use...seems like he had no answer, he asked me to hold on and disconnected my call...tried to call them again but after that whenever I called them from different numbers all the numbers are getting this message "please wait while i transfer your call to customer care executive, this call can be recorded for internal training services and after 2 - 3 secs annoying sound like this (teeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee )" damn [censored]ng Customer care service...believe me I never had this much frustration, really they are great as they made me write a complaint about them...bigggg complaint ...lets see if they will reach me atleast after seeing this...number is [protected]





                                PS: And a default song before reaching a customer care which says they are happy as they got one crore users which might be true...they need to analyze how many among one crore are happy customers...sure that cant be more than 2 lakhs or so which will be their employees...who work with them...

                                It is true that Airtel un-necessary deducting Re 1 everyday. They themself doing activation. Now I am going to cancell all 6 connection. To this is the only solution. Please ignore airtel and teach them that customer's power.

                                I trully agree on these subjects. I send two mails and twice I called customer care but still airtel deducting Re 1 everyday. Now I am going to stop recharging Airtel and all six connection going to throw because they will not understand customer problem. It is our turn now to teach them. They have to pay for their worst service. Do not take airtel connection and show them customer power
                                Stop using airtel. They are cheater. They are begger and need money for nothing. First they are activating services without information and when we are complaining they are not responding. Better go for other operator. Please do not take airtel. ignorethem from market

                                      I have also suffered from this site.So that i have complainted to TRAI http://www.trai.gov.in/default.asp
                                      and they have suggested me NOrdal Office Nos. availble here http://www.airtel.in/applications/xm/ReachMobile_CS_NodalOfficer.jsp to complaint with all facts and dates of complaints with their sms conformation of deactivation of service.After complaint they have closed my service with in 4 hrs with conformed msg and stop deducting Rs.10.00 every day.
