This is the copy of the complaint letter i had forwarded to bharti airtel authorities but they have not resolved the matter till now.

Sub:Harassment of a consumer by the company (Bharti Airtel Ltd).
Respected Sir,
I, Syed Taqi Akbar, resident of Lucknow, had subscribed to your Broadband service on 17th November 2008.In the subscription form I had chosen the Unlimited 1499 512 Kbps plan.After that I received a confirmatory call from your side, informing me that I have chosen the 499 combo plan.Immediately, I objected to it and informed your executive that I have chosen the Unlimited 1499 512 Kbps plan.I asked the executive of the confirmatory call to rectify the mistake made by your company immediately.The executive took my complaint and gave me a complaint number.I even told the executive that either rectify your mistake and give me the plan which I had chosen or disconnect the service.I made numerous complaints everyday and the details of the complaints are as follows:

Please note that in all my complaints I had clearly mentioned that I had selected Unlimited 1499 512 Kbps plan and not 499 combo plan.I asked the executives to rectify the mistake immediately or disconnect the service.
But to my utter disbelief, I received a bill of Rs.9000 under the 499 combo plan.I will be unable to pay this bill.Also, keep in mind, that the mistake was clearly from your side.And inspite of repeated complaints the company did’nt rectify the mistake.
I would like to mention some important facts which highlight the negligence of your company “Bharti Airtel Limited” and also exposes the pathetic treatment you give to your customers.
I had selected the Unlimited 1499 512 Kbps plan in the presence of your Sales Officer, Mr.Anand Kumar Shukla.(Cell no-[protected]).
When I received the confirmatory call informing me of the 499 combo plan, I immediately asked them to rectify the mistake.What is the use of the confirmatory call if your company imposes the plan of your choice on the consumer?
When your hardware engineer, Mr.Fahad (Cell no-[protected]) came for installation, he showed me the form in which the plan selected was ‘Unlimited 1499 512 Kbps’. Then how can your company change the plan to 499 combo plan? Is it to harass the consumer?
As mentioned earlier, I made numerous complaints but what was the effect?Instead of rectifying the mistake, your company imposed a bill of Rs.9000 under the plan that I had not selected.This is a case of clear harassment of the consumer by your company.
Please note that I have been subjected to intense harassment and have decided to approach the Consumer Forum if the matter is not resolved by your company within 48 hours.

every month from air tel friendz chat u are deducting 30 rupees. since I am not at all using this.
so here after do not deduct any amount from my number. i[censored] deduct once again I am going to
make a complaint to consumer court. and also do not send SMS from friendz chat.

Airtal is really cheating the customers. I do not know how can I get my phone unsubscribed.

I think that there is no use of friend chat so just deactivate d airtel friend chat service.i deactivated it many times but still it get activated many times &my money get deducted.when ever i recharge my mobile balance get deducted.just deactivate it right know.my no [protected]

my name is dr.gouraiah,my mobile no.[protected],iam inform to airtel custermercare about my balence dedected 47rs at15 of this month; they r told me they r unsubscribe of airtel feiendz voice chat;but ihave recive today that offer reneved in 2days,and charge 30rs,till now iam not recived unsubsripion sms,plese go througe this sms with 12hs iam not recived that sms iwill change my network okIt was accidental I just opened it as I was curious wahat the offer is.
And I just opened and dont made any action and I was registered.
No proper guidance and you are forced to do and If its software we will call it badwere and in the case of mobile service what we will call this phenomenon ??

Just remove the Airtel connection and go with better operator who is professional and not the cheater, they must get [censored]ed by all Indian People, Airtel is not a good company, just delete their account from your life and then see your life becomes blissfull

I am a prepaid user of airtel mobile services. eventhough i have not subscribed to Airtelfriendz option Airtel have made me a subscriber to this chat group. I tried calling their customer service and many other airtel numbers but i have not been asble to get through. After 10days chat option which i didnot use i received a sms that my subscription to airtelfriendz will be renewed. i tried to unsubscribe using the'stop' option but it is not successful. with all this i have unnecessarily been charged Rs10/+ Rs.30/- for this subscription.i am deeply angered and pained by this money making gimmicks floated by this mobile company . I would like to be refunded the amount as quickly as possible
I called customer care 2-3 time but they told me that airtel won't subscribe any service unless and until you press any required key.
But this is not true... airtel really charges for the service which we customer won't use.
I am using airtel from last 4 year and now planning to change.
One more thing.. friendz chat is not getting Unsubscribed by dialing[protected]TollFree).
Please tell me the way to unsubscribed...
i m also the victim of this airtel chat.
u can do sms but when u will call no one will recieve n will do sms saying " i m busy but u can sms me 1 rs/sms", , , same number can sms u 24 hrs a day..
this is real job done by M/s airtel.
luring youth for sake of bucks.

Airtel is looting — Airtel is activating a friends chat without my consent
Sir,I am an user of Airtel mobile since last 1.5 years. Today I realized that Airtel is charging me 30 rupees per month for all friends chat. When I called for the customer service, the response was not good and they said they can't help as it was activated through internet.
After 5 to 6 time of calling (they deliberately disconnect the phone) I manage to reach them through another phone.
I talked to Mr. Mohammed Hussain on this and told him the details. He agreed that it is not activated from my cell phone as my phone I was using since feb does not support internet and was a basic phone ( I switched the phone last week to an upgraded phone).
He said that he can refund only 30 rupees even if I have not activated the service and Airtel has taken money from my account.
Please help in resolving this issue. I am reachable in [protected] incase anything is required from my side.
