Hi,

I Abhishek Jain, is subscriber of Airtel against number [protected], number is activated on 14th march. I am facing problem since very first day( all the compalints are already registered at Customer care).

Recently on friday 01.05.2009, my services were barred at around 1.00pm without any intimation.
On confirming from customer care i came to know that due to non payment they had discountinued my services( which is already made on 29.04.2009), i again asked them to check the same, after putting me on hold for 25 min they( Mr Pratap, Floor supervisor) said that this is the fault of Airtel, we are sory for inconvinience.

Now my concern is that due to this discontinued services company had denied to reimburse me the amount of last bill, in result i hadf asked Airtel to Kindly give me in writing so that i can asked my company to kindly get reimburse me the amount as that was not my fault.

I request you to kindly help to get resolve my complain.

some times when others calling my network reply this number is switched off.
but my mobile is switch on that time

    Respected Sir,
    The worst service on earth is provided by AIRTEL. My prepaid contact no is [protected]..I have been trying to contact customer care...but in vain... the line never gets connected. I have been receiving the messages like.. can you chat with young girl xyz...call now... per minute charge is two rupees. I have not asked for it but I am getting those messages.. and every now and the Rs 10.00 is cut every now and then for those services... I want to disable that stupid service... I wonder whether there is a way on earth for that.

    i dont know if anyone actually reads these complaints...but still, am going to put forward an earnest request. airtel's customer care service is degrading day by day. the worst possible service, sure as hell, is provided by the lazy, flirty and incorrigible executives in guwahati. me and all the airtel users back in guwahati would be extremely obliged if someone could chuck them out and appoint a few with atleast the average grey matter...and some useful solutions to our problems!
    and yes, we would also be extremely grateful if airtel can stop sucking our blood by cheating us outta our money!
    I am not able to get in touch with the customer services of airtel and is the worst scenario of any customer service provided. The number 121 or 123 never connects to the customer care and has all the other options in the world to know about all the features of family and friends, value vouchers, any new scheme and other facilities provided by the company. My balance is getting deducted by Rs 2 every day to have reduced call rates which i dont want and want to stop immidiately.

      I am using Airtel prepaid sim card no ([protected]). I generally activate internet (Mobile Office) per day Rs 20 plan by sending MO to a 4 digit number. Yesterday I haven't send MO for requesting internet, before sending the message I have connected to internet. I got connected to internet. I have used for 1 hour. Then I realized that I haven't activated the internet by sending MO message. Then i checked the balance the entire 218 rupees was deducted from the balance. I called up customer care 121, they are telling sorry for the inconvenience and asking to call 12118.If I call 12118, they asking call 121 and complaint the same. They are telling it has been activated for entire Karnataka Airtel number two weeks ago. I raised the questions like without asking conformation form the customer how can u activate? Even if so why it was not deducted from 2 weeks ago. The customer care not ready to refund the amount. Totally frustration only. After the call the Internet access also deactivated. This is worst service and charging money like anything and careless customer care.

      Can anybody from Airtel reply to this complaint?

      Even i have faced this kind of problem in Airtel. This really frustration to the customer. Fraud. They will not do the damage control part also.

      recently you are not providing mobile office unlimited one week package, one month package, and one day package, so this is very disturbance to all customers,

      so please set back the above packages

        Please UNSUBSCRIBE cricket pack from my mobile for which Airtel is deducting Rs.3/- per day from my account. I have never subscribe to this service. I have contacted customer care four times in a week. Each time they say, it will stop withing 24 hours and amount deducted till now will be refunded. This is being happening since last 1 week and after getting 9 SMSs the day before yesterday that VAS has been now been deactivated, still everyday I am getting these messages and Rs. 3/- is getting deducted.

        If this thing does not stop, can I registered a case with Consumer Court? This is clearly a case of extorting money from customers without permission and mental harrasement.

          Air Tel Gallary Thane Naupada, Thane Hariniwas and Mulune East were not ready to suspend/disconnect the air tel connection, since connection was not required by me. They told that unless billing cycle is completed we will not take any coplain. Air tel Gallary is not responding to old customers request and jus fooling around and asking to speak to customer care.e

              Respected sir/mam

              I have an airtel prepaid number of Himachal Pardesh. I just had a top-up(as asked by me) of Rs.350 from faridabad 21(c) Sector. I did got a recharge from other side in the form of local power pack scheme. I never got attracted to this scheme because i had a least requirement of this kind of recharge. As soon as i noticed that no updations has been made to my number, i contacted Airtel Customer Care. I had Mr. Om Parkash on the other side. He empasised that it was all my fault that because i am having no knowledge of recharges. Now, i would just like to ask is it the duty of service provider to tell me the appropriate recharge scheme or the customer should mug-up all the recharges and keep himsel[censored]pdated with these recharges.

              Secondly, i would like to attract your attention to the lack of skills that i found talking to your executives particularly the irresponsibility that they showed while giving me answers.

              Please do the needful since i trusted these organisation for almost 8 years.

              I hope i will get better response from this side and suitable actions would be taken agaisnt defaulters.

                I recently browsing site. I got advertisement for downloading games. I subscribed for that from the following Link

                But GPRS is not there in my set. But Later i found for Every Weak i will deducted Rs 20 from my balance. I want to un scribe to that. But When ever i am Trying it is failing. I request you to take sever action against Airtel for forcing Customer to use the Service.

                  I am using airtel Postpaid, Tamil Nadu Circle[protected]

                  now i came to mumbai for some work, 15 days back,

                  when i came here, i was facing a problem in every two hours it come "network Not Access", after ten to 30 min ., it auto maticaly solve.

                  at the time any one try to contact me, they are getting a message " this no is not available".

                  i have activated MCA "Missed call alert" - but i did not get any alert by this time, then why i pay the 15 Rs for that MCA.

                  even i did not in remote place... i am in Town only, here airtel full network is there... i can't access that... that is a problem...
                  please do the need full soon...

                  if we made complaint to customer care, they ask some period regarding the issue & they

                  say abt the serve has been done service will be enhanced short period.But there isno

                  response abt the customer Problem issue and customer care report is not good

                  when i tell my problem they will tell we will solve the problem quickly but they take more

                  time but problem did not been solved

                  due 2 ur problem my amount is loss

                    I have been using airtel prepaid since last 5 yrs.I m unhappy with the service provided by airtel nowadays.
                    I had earlier posted comment and even send sms to unscribe the yzone service from my mobile.its charging me Rs. 10 perweek even if i m not using the slow service o[censored]rs.
                    and whenever i tried to unscribe it, , its not working.

                    Please help me out to unscribe the yzone service or else i have to opt for some other connection.my cell no is [protected].
                    Our Call Transfer service on[protected] to [protected] is not working.Please restart this service at the earliest.

                      I HAVE MADE COMPLAIN TO AIRTEL COMPANY REGARDING MY POSTPAID AIRTEL NUMBER[protected] FOR FACING SEVERE NETWORK COVERAGE PROBLEM & GIVEN ALL THE DETAILES I AM FACING THE NETWORK COVERAGE PROBLEM TO THEM, & I SUFFERED HEAVY MONETARY LOSS DUE TO NETWORK PROBLEM MY CALLS ARE BEING DISCONNECTED ALL INCOMING & OUTGOING CALLS SINCE LAST MORE THAN 3 TO 4 MONTHS BUT THEY ARE NOT UNDERSTANDING MY PROBLEM & ONLY GIVEN 10% VOICE USAGE DISCOUNT TO ME FROM 20TH APRIL' 2009 FOR 3 MONTHS. BUT I SUFFERED LOSS OF CALLS MORE THAN THAT. DUE TO WHICH MY BILL HAS ALSO RISED TO RS. 400 EVERY MONTH.

                        On February 9th, 2009, I upgraded my internet plan from 449 to Super 699. Inclusive of taxes, the billed amount should have been 767 Rs. per month, regardless of net usage and landline usage charges, However, for four continuous months the billing has been improper.

                        The Biling for Month of Janary - February was improper. The bill had included my new plan ALONGWITH my old plan. As a result instead of 767 Rs. the bill charged me Rs. 1, 148. I lodged a complaint which was resolved and my bill was adjusted.

                        However, next month the same thing was repeated. this time, not only were there 2 plans included, the charges also included the se of Airtel's antivirus. However, I am not using Airtel's antivirus Software, but my own. I lodged another complaint which was resolved after quite some time. This time however, due to the delay the resolving of complaint took, I had to pay late charges.

                        In March - April however, while the dual connection was terminated, the use of airtel's antivirus was not, the billing was improper and the bill came out to be 837 Rs. for the month. I have again lodged a complaint and it has been resolved, however, I doubt that no problem shall occur again, as promised by Airtel executives, for the past four months.

                        However, as I tried to get all my complaint numbers together, as I had misplaced them, I had to face severe questioning and persuasion to stop me from getting them. The Complaint numbers in Chronological order of Complaints are:-

                        [protected] Antivirus Charges

                        The Account is by the Name of Mrs. Reena Sabhlok, my wife, and the Account number is 13391516

                        Sir, this is my complaint against Airtel Broadband Services for not only causing inconvenience to the Consumer but also by denying my Right to Information, when demanded Complaint numbers and giving so after a lenthy persuasion. I have faced such tactics from Airtel Services since the past four months and I am a busy man to keep on checking my bill and spend tedious hours complaining to reduce my bill.

                        This is to bring to your notice as under :

                        1. Recently I have got the broadband connection No.[protected]. Based on the feedback received from my friends, I tried to test the ethical values of the company and did not use connection, except 2/3 local calls of approx 3 minutes each duration was made. During the month, twice or thrice I checked up the bill and was surprised to see rising bill, when the connection was completely disconnected and not using at all. I took up the issue personally with the local airtel office at Sector IV Vaishali, Ghaziabad and I was advised to wait for the first bill and then take up the issue.

                        On receipt of the bill No.[protected] dated 24.04.2009, I was shocked to see the inflated bill amount of Rs.584/-, despite just making above stated calls, which were much less than the free call under the scheme.

                        2. However, the above bill has been paid through check No. 047638 dated 11.05.2009 at Airtel Sector IV Vaishali Ghaziabad on 12.05.2009 around 3.30 pm personally, as advised by Ms Arjita, there broadband desk officer at Vaishali. When insisted for the receipt of this payment, Ms Arjita advised that she will make the entry later and will be reflected the same tomorrow. Today, when I checked up on net, it is still showing unpaid bill. I am fail to understand why Airtel staff is misleading its customers.

                        You are requested to look into the :

                        Ø inflated bill and the above excessive amount paid this month may please be adjusted in the next billing.

                        Ø Payment already made on 12.05.09 may please be reflected as paid, since the same was paid personally at above Airtel office.

                        Ø Confirm the above corrective action taken at your end.

                          Hi,

                          I have sent one mail to [protected]@airtel.in to change my existing IBM corporate postpaid plan ([protected]) to H17 CUG 199. But they are telling that it cannot be changed as this plan is not activated for IBM.

                          On the otherside, they are giving new postpaid sim of the same plan to IBM employees but they are not changing the plan for the existing customers.

                          Could you please help me out in the same regard.

                            i have purchased airtel digital tv on 27 april 2009. i have 1 year subscription of 2600 Rs. initially i got Colors channel but from 1 may 2009 they remove channel and sms to me that this channel will not include in base pack. i called customer care representative just told me this channel is no more for you.and we can't do anything. why they are doing things like that firstly giving service but when we purchase they

                                I was using prepaid service of Airtel since one year. But last month(9 or 10th March 2009) a marketing executive came to my resident with an offer. The offer was a plan of Rs 300 per months as a rent. In that plan he promise me 300 min. talk time free at the rate of 50 paise per min. & 300 sms free at the rate of 20 paise. He also said that international sms will be adjusted in those 300 free sms at the rate of Rs 5 per sms. He also said that the range will be very good. Better than what I use to have early. But the offer comes with some conditions. The conditions were that the offer is available for new no. & not for old no. Also I will have to deposit Rs 500. He said these Rs 500 will be return in 180 days. Also he promise me a VIP no. So I was attracted to this new plan & I bought the new plan with a no. [protected]. But when I received my first bill none of my promise were fulfilled. Also my no. was not VIP no. They charge Rs 500 as a new sim card fee. Also they charge me extra for my international sms with the rate of Rs 5 per sms & local sms were charge at the rate of 50ps. per sms. Also the range is very bad. I don't know were to file complaint against such false & illegal activity. I am trying to contact the Airtel executive but no one is giving me proper reply or no one is telling me were to lodge a complaint. Also from today that mean 25th April 2009 Airtel has stop my outgoing services. So please any one can tell me where to lodge a official complaint against Airtel please inform me.                                   25th April 09: 27237230:- I got a reply that the bills will be delivered to my account in 5 days time. But when I checked on 29th April 09 it was not delivered. Then I gave another call the same day but got a reply that the system is down and the person who was attainding the call was not able to process the request. Told to me that it wil be elivered before 11:45 pm on 29th April 09. Then I checked again at 01:30 am on 30th April 09 but still there is no sgn of bill delivery. Again gave a call at that time and still got the same answer that the system is under maintenance actvity they can not see the call status. Told to me that it will be delivered to me by tomorrow morning. Then I checked again at 12:30 pm on 30th April 09 but even after several followup it was not beed delivere. This time I spoke to several peoples specially to Kiran Kumar and call ID is[protected] but till there is no sence of help from him. He guided me to Airtel Wbsite and registered me over there to check my bills online but I have not found the bills for the month of Feb 09 and Mar 09. In the drop down option for these two months here is no bill date available for my account. And after talking to Mr Kiran he commeted me that the bills will be delivered to me in 24 hours or as early as possible.

                                  Note: Here just to mark one thing that even after lot of commetments by lot of peoples still bills are not delivered. After calling to customer care executive the repeated things I heard from them stating that the bills will be delivered to me in first 5 days then 24 hours then 4 hours and finaly as early as possible. Please note a complaint and make sure that the call can be closed with high priority.

                                    saw that it was still active, so I called up the customer care on the same day, they told me to clear the outstanding, WHICH I WAS NOT AT ALL USING, still I cleared on the same day through online payment and the call was transferred to same person SATHISH from cancellation department, he regretted for the inconvenience and again told that he would ask the concern department to cancel it and he assured that it would be cancelled within 24 hrs. It was deactivated the next day, however I could see it active state on 31st of March. Now I am staying in Nashua U.S.A and I will not be able to use the sim card nor talk to the customer care, I kindly request you to cancel my airtel postpaid connection immediately.

                                    I am Srinath D, I have been using airtel post paid connection until December 2008, as I planned to move to U.S.A, I requested to cancel my connection in airtel customer care center( Indira nagar, Bangalore) on 11 on dec 2008, but it was not canceled and i was receiving bills and i could see that the connection is still in active state.                                       I am Nitin Anand R/o A-22-B, Tagore garden Extn. New Delhi - 110027.

                                      I applied for a Airtel Landlione Connection with DSL on 15/03/09 and paid Rs. 700/- advance rental on request of your calling executive that it will be installed with in 2 days.

                                      The CAF no. for this is 1668196.

                                      I was having a Tata Landline no. with internet, but on the basis of this I instructed TATA INDICOM to disconnect there no., even they called me from retension department of TATA INDICOM for continuity of there services but I declined that too.

                                      Now it's already 8 days and no Airtel no. installed at my residence address. I am in touch with Mr. Vivek of Airtel ( [protected] ) who gave me false committment everyday that your connection was installed today or tommorrow, today or tommorrow.

                                      I REALLY GOT FED UP WITH THIS NONSENCE THAT A BRAND CALLED AIRTEL EMPLOYEES GIVING FALSE COMMITTMENT TO THE CUSTOMER REGARDING INSTALLATION OF CONNECTION.

                                      Yesterday I launched a complaint in your customer care regarding this issue. ( Ref No.[protected]

                                      Now just now I had a word with Mr. Shadab Ali ( AM in AIRTEL [protected] ) who told me that it's not possible for us to provide the Airtel connection due to problem in Digging or Wiring. When I told me that what can I do now he simply reply me Sir aap kuch or dekh lo. Is this a very simple reply from your end???

                                      Now my question was that before signing the form I confirm that the broadband services are available in my area and your staff confirm me, Sir services are there and your connection will install with in 2 days, then why you taken a request for new connection and advance rental from me when services was not there????

                                      On the basis of this I instruct tata indicom for discontinue there services now who the hell is responsible for that?????

                                      It's not my fault, why your company taken the request and advance rental from me??????

                                      I already wrote 2 times to Mr. Sunil Bharti Mittal regarding that but there is no action taken from company side, means no body take care of Customer part, they only know how to increase the Sale of the company and for that they can go to any extent like false promises, misguiding.

                                      Airtel — misleading of customers by airtel emloyees

                                      this is Shashi Goel from faridabad .
                                      i have airtel landline connection number[protected] in the name Bharat Traders.
                                      i have been misled by the airtel employees that we will get 20% discount as a airtel customer's benefits.
                                      But in reality it was discount if we retained the broadband plan which was deactivated by me on 6 june, 09.
                                      this is a case of misappropriate conduct on the part of the airtel and is unbearable.

                                        i am being charged rs 10 every week for stardust -subscription pack on airtel wap despite repeated requests for unsubscription.i donot want to lose money for a service i did not subscribe to .Repeated complaints on this site has also not helped. i need thih to stop immideately. my cell no [protected]

                                        AirTel — Not unsubscribing inspite of repeated request.

                                        I m a subscriber of bihar circle.Reached Delhi on 21st aug 09.Recieved message for activating swine flu alert with a note that to unsubscribe message(54321)which i did for three consecutive days.I recieved back message(message recieved with no result).I also called up customer support service and was provided a number 121 which, when i did, replied that no services was providede on my number.
                                        Now-
                                        1.How can i deactivate the services, which they are not doing?(for which every day i have to pay 2Rupees for a month.)
                                        2.I want information that if a company having "MILLIONS OF SUBSCRIBERS"just get 1, 2 or 3 Rupees revenue back with such unlawful activities, they are earning millions o[censored]naccounted money.
                                        I have a record of all the messages to justify my claim.
