Sir/Madam,
I undersigned, a r/o HNo.16/497-I, ST.No.14, Bapa Nagar, Military Road, Karol Bagh, NewDelhi-110005, intends to install an Airtel landline/broadband connection at my residence. I approached for the same, in the Pusa Road branch of the company and I was told by the Executive that though there is availability of the connection in the area, but the connection can not be installed at my residence. However, no reason was divulged for the same. Similarly, following my request on date (October 12) lodged vide no. 715756, a SMS containing the inability of the company to provide the same was also received. Again, no reason for not providing the connection was indicated.
2. Later, it has been observed that an Airtel landline connection (No. No.[protected] is already in existence in vicinity of my house. As such, it is presumed that the undersigned has been singled out.
3. It is therefore, requested to reconsider my request for Airtel landline/broadband connection at my residence at the earliest, so that may relation with your esteemed company may continue for ever. It is assured that I will help your to obtain more Airtel connections I the vicinity of my residence, if I am provided with the connection.

This is with regards to my mobile# [protected]. I’m NOT a very old Customer but my experience with Airtel has been really horrible & worst. Let me tell you in detail, Recently I sent a mail requesting for decreasing my credit limit from Rs. 1800/= to Rs. 300/= which I got when I took this connection. I exchanged few e-mail with deepa.[protected]@airtel.in & [protected]@airtelindia.com & since I was NOT getting a proper solution I just mentioned “I don't think I'm getting help or we are going anywhere. Please CANCEL my connection” which I didn’t mean it really. Later I spoke to Deepa.BR Corporate Retention who informed me that my request cannot be fulfilled & we both agreed to ignore the request & she also sent me an confirmation (Please check the mail below).
Surprisingly, Yesterday my Outgoing calls was barred & my Connection was Suspended without my notification. I called 121 & spoke to two different agents both of them were really very “Rude” & “Unprofessional”.
1. Agent# Name -> Mr. Jayson Das: There was No proper call opening/No courtesy. I was asked “What’s your problem” instead of “How can I help ?”. I told that my Outgoing calls has been barred & agent immediately says I haven’t paid my bill. I informed him that my due date was on 18th Oct 2007 & I don’t have online access needed help. Agent said he can’t help & asked me to wait till tomorrow morning & pay the bill in a nearby Airtel Center. I was really upset & asked him to escalate the call to his Manager immediately. Without even asking for reason or asking my permission before placing the call on HOLD Agent banged the phone & put me on HOLD. I was on HOLD for nearly 15 mins & suddenly the call got disconnected. This made me more angry & upset with the Poor Customer Service & Unprofessional way of Handling Customers. I decided to call again
2. Agent # Name -> Mr. Girish. R: This guy was good in the beginning till I explained him about my Query & later he informed me that I have requested for “Cancellation” of my connection. I told him what exactly was my query & also informed about the email received from Deepa.BR Corporate Retention but the agent was NOT ready to listen & kept on repeating that connection has been “Suspended” on my request he cannot activate. He requested me to send email from my official id & will take 24-48hrs for the connection to get it activated. I tried explaining him the situation that I’m NOT in the office & I cannot wait till tomorrow & it’s really very urgent but agent was very “Stubborn” & “Rude”. I told him to escalate the call to his Manager & he informed that it’s No use because even he will also tell the same thing. I still insisted on escalating the call & agent asks me to call between 9am to 7pm if I would like to speak to a Manager. I told him that Airtel Customer is very poor & appalling agent didn’t apologized nor reacted to my comments. I asked him for his name he said “Girish.R” & refused to give his Manager’s name nor his employee number when requested. I told the agent that I will write a complaint letter & he happily said “Please Please go ahead”. I was so damn pissed off I said fine & banged the phone on him.
Immediately I messaged Deepa.BR (Corporate Retention)at [protected] asking for immediate attention & help but fruitless. This morning she called me & said tools are down & need some time to check & revert back.
Later today up I called up 121 & spoke floor manager Anurekha. L who was very patient & listened to my entire worst experience with Airtel & acknowledge to my feelings & assured feedback to be provided to agents for providing Dis-satisfactory Customer service.
I'm Not writing this letter to complain you but to share my experience hope you take it as a positive feedback from me. I have taken calls for nearly 3years and have supported and provided Customer service for countries like United Kingdom, USA, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand. I don't think your Call Center hires people who are professional & from good back ground.
I being a Customer expect First Class Customer service with excellent benefits & advantages. I hope you do understand my concern. Looking forward for your reply.
