I had taken a prepaid connection in my name and given all the required documents 2 times for the connection number [protected]. This i requested on 6th november 2012. The airtel advised that the connection shall be up in 2 working days. Today is 24th november and the number is not yet activated. I called them on 22nd and asked when it will get activated for which they did not have an answer. Now, what should i do? Throw the sim away? Go to consumenr court against them? I have written to their appelate for the same but there is no response.

I have 50 connections in my company and there was a booster equipment installed in my jeedimetla factory in 2010. This has not been working since 6 months and have been calling airtel to come and inspect it. They are asking me the name of the engineer who came and installed it which i only know is person of airtel. Since then i have been calling airtel for this complaint and there is no response except for "sorry for inconvenience". The website does not have any number to contact any senior. The customer care people do not connect to the seniors and neither give their numbers. Is this how airtel works???? There is no one to listen to consumer problems and sort out???? Where should they go and complaint / talk to when there nodal and apeallete also do not take actions.

AirTel — Nonactivation of prepaid connection.

I have changed my plan from postpaid to prepaid and i have settled the bill amount for my postpaid connection. I have issued all required documents for change of plan from postpaid to prepaid as requested at your Airtel office (Tarun Communication) situtated in Avanashi road, Coimbatore, Tamilnadu four days ago i.e on 06/12/2008. Untill now the number has not yet been activated. My complaint also is not handled with seriousness by your call center people.

I am missing business calls due to this interruption in service. If it takes beyond one day from now on to fix this problem, i will definetely head towards consumer court.

Kindly acknowledge my complaint and do the needful immediately.

Airtel Prepaid — Non activation

Sir, i wish to inform you that i had purchased one sim from your ddn franchise i.E. Nashvilla road franchise i.E. Manoj communication in the month of march10 i.E. By paying rs. 666/- and the number alloted to my daughter was [protected] from my id. As i am staying abroad and i had came to know that the sim alloted is being blocked and it has worked only for 7/8 days since allotment.

Request to please look into this as airtel beign such a good company and my past experience shown that this is the best in india.

sim card is not my proof.It is a prepaid connection. I went to airtel office, they asked the details of sim card proof. But I dont know the details of sim card. They given me this email ID to contact you.
Last recharge of the the sim is done with Rs.10/- by paper recharge.
I had taken loan of Rs.10/- and I had due of Rs.5/-.

    Hi,

    I am using two airtel prepaid numbers . got a call from airtel to convert prepaid to post paid . i applied for one of my number. after providing the documents around 2 months later its converted to postpaid. but i am not able to use that number with the sim whatever they provided. so i asked them about the issue.they told they will check but its not happend from past 4 days. i have raised compliant by call and by providing the details through online (with complient numbers: PO[protected], PO[protected], PO[protected].

    please help me to get out from this issue.

      AirTel — SIM registration cancelled

      Hi, I have been user of Airtel Post paid connection since 2006. Due to my address change(the address was updated and in formed to Airtel), i never got bills from Aritel since last one year. Last month, my outgoing was cancelled without my knowldege and then it is like hell. Every other day, there is this disconnection. I have still not got the bills till date. I called customer services help desk and they could not solve my problem. then i spoke to Mr. Pranav (supervison), he was so nice at speaking, but worst by virtue of wroking. no solution from him. the i called his immediate manager (Sukhda, if i am not wrong). She is also of no use. She promised me that my bills will reach at the given address the next day and it is now 10th day, but the bills are still not there.

      Interestingly, i got a message saying that your bills could not be delivered as the person does not exist. More interesting is that, i could get the calender sent by airtel on the same address.

      This is absolute harrassment from Airtel side.

        My Airtel Complaint Refrence No. is PR[protected] and this complaint was made on 22nd November 2012.
        My number is [protected].I have been calling customer care from last three days in order to get info about my usage. I got a recharge done for 300 on 16th November 12 and the next day there was just 5 Rs left in my account.
        I have got just two services enabled on my number for auto renewal i.e.
        1. A GPRS pack of 98
        2. A SMS pack

        Rs.98 had been deducted for the gprs pack which got activated and my sms pack was not renewed and for the rest of the balance even your customer care representative also didn't had any idea.
        When i called your customer service representative they told me that i had to restart my phone for the auto renewal of GPRS pack could take place. I had been using airtel and its value added services from past four years n used every kind of handset and never done this and everything worked perfectly.
        Then i told the customer care representative to forward the call to the supervisor and they say the person is busy,what kind of customer service is this?
        The next day i called about 10 times sometimes customer care didnt answer my call and when they answered my call then they said that the problem will be resolved within 24 hrs and now its being more than 2 days.
        Then i called again and again and the customer care representative said they will call me and clear the issue within 2 hours and one more day passed.
        What the HELL IS GOING ON.
        I am going to file a CONSUMER FORUM COMPLAINT against airtel customer care for neglecting my problem and wasting my time and doing noting and just giving lame excuses beacuse of their own mistake.
        If the issue isn't being resolved with next 24 hours u will face the consequences.
        Airtel doesn't deserve to be in group of Top 5 telecom companies in the world if this is the standard of your customer care service.

          Hello All,

          This complaints is regarding to illegal, unethical billing of so called broadband Giant Airtel Broadband
          Complaint is as follows:
          I have disconnected airtel broadband connection and even after disconnection they sent me bill of Rs 4800 saying that it is full and final settlement they also said only after paying FAF Settlement your connections gets disconnected and they also sent an agent to my location for collecting money. I paid FAF to agent and INFORMED HIM SEVERAL TIMES TO DISCONNECT MY CONNECTION and said that the request was put through. After a month they sent me a new bill for November BILLING Rs 3400/- and this is totally unfair. Whom to complaint and how to complaint and why should I pay the bill? I have shifted my house and you are still billing my airtel number even after disconnecting?
          THIS IS TOTAL BULL and unethical.
          Airtel Postpaid services is totally unfair they offer this kind of services to every one.

          Airtel Broadband — Illegal Billing

          I have registered a request in the customer care on 22nd Feb 2010 to cancel my connection. Customer care assured me that your rental has been seized from this date. And I got the bill on 30th March which has included the billing of 22nd Feb 2010 and from 23 rd Feb 22nd March which is two month billing. And demanding that you have to pay otherwise we will go on adding the rental every month
          The company is fleecing customers. I urge all to shift to BSNL which has cheaper plans and don't cheat like airtel is doing.

          Dear sir, SUB: Wrong bills and forcibly imposed charges

          I beg your pardon, i[censored] found me nonsense, but let me have your grave attention to the matter pertaining to my air tel bill
          which has harassed and tourchard me profoundly, i have been utterly disgruntled by AIR TEL services, i don't know from where i should start, i have conferred with your air tel CCE's zillion times but all got vain, at the end now i am mailing you with the hope that my problem will be sorted out regarding my wrong air tel bills, i have severe issues regarding my air tel bills as i have a corporate connection in which i have got two connection and two partner can talk on free of cost, after a long observations i got to know that i am being billed wrongly and my bills amounts are mounting on the daily basis and against the calls which i did not make, so i left paying my and my wife's bills, there are some issues which i am unveiling below as:
          1) I requested your cce's to change my and my wife's plan from 199 to 99 in Jan 2011 but only my plan was changed not my wife's plan and since January 2011 she has been using the old tariff of 199 that means i was lied by Ur cce's that your wife plan has already been changed but just four days back i got to know that my wife is still using the 199 rs plan.

          2) your cce' placed one 200 rs plan on my wife's connection without asking me, when i called them they told me sir by mistake it was added and we are gonna reverse this amount since march but we don't have authority to wave off that much amount so contact our nodal officer.

          3) i was charged for calls which i did not make for rs 510 and 178, 132 etc stating that u downloaded some ringtone and something else, "which is a s big joke of the month", due to which i got baffled and astonished.

          I ASK YOU WHY SHOULD I CHASE YOU FOR PAYING MY BILLS, WHY SHOULD I BE BOTHERED FOR YOUR BILLS, BUT I AM CALLING U INCESSANTLY TO PAY MY BILLS EVEN THAN NO BODY IS PAYING HEED TO MY REQUEST, SO SHOULD I GET DISCONNECTED MY CONNECTION FROM AIR TEL AND TAKING ANOTHER COMPANIES PLAN OR I SHOULD WAIT FOR YOUR REPLY SO THAT MY MATTER CAN BE SOLVED AT THE EARLIEST. I CAN NOT DISCUSS EACH AND EVERY THING THROUGH MAIL SO WAITING FOR UR REPLY IF I AM NOT GIVEN ANY RESPONSE THAN I WILL TAKE THIS U ARE NOT BOTHERED FOR CUSTOMER SERVICES.

            Respected Sir,
            I have purchased a new phone Blackberry curve 9320 on 13th nov and I am eligible for a 1year free BBM but till now its not have been activated and I have also send msg BBM to 543210 but till now my 1yr free bbm has not been activated .I talked to the customer support of the blackberry airtel helpdesk but they transfer my call to the senior executive and every time they tell me to wait for my 24 hrs.
            Kindly look into the issue.

              Hi,

              My number: [protected]

              I had subsribed for 150rs internet pack which said 500mb of 3g data and 500mb of 2g data.
              When i called the customer care, the REP told after finishing first 50mmb of 3g data we'll be getting a confirmation alert.
              But I dint get any sort of such msgs. I myself changed the settings to 2g after some days. Now they have charged me rs800 extra for internet.
              This is absolute looting.

              Such another case happened four months back also.
              pls look into it.

                Hi,

                My name is KesavaRao Dasari,surrended a Airtel digital TV SD box on 2nd October 2012;
                My customer id is [protected];i was having a balance of Rs1049 in my account at the time of surrender;The CPE recovery happened on 2nd Oct 2012 and the customer care told i would get only my balance amount of 1049 in the form of check and no equipment cost;
                till now 50 days over and i have not received my refund amount;I contacted several times the cutomer care for the refund and they were asking the CPE recovery receipt initially and after i sent the receipt they are saying it's under process and will get in 7 to 15 days But so far i have not received anything;i have nearly sent 20 mails and called some 15 times to 12150 for the refund;
                Please find the CPE recovery process websheet by the local Airtel distributor who has collected my set top box as an atcchment;
                Kindly look into the matter and get my refund done and take necessary action;

                they have transferred the amount to my new HD connection; i was expecting a cheque but nevertheless the problem got resolved

                Airtel DTH — Refund of Airtel DTH connection

                I had applied for an Airtel DTH connection at my flat in Pune.
                I was given a Product Id of 8025, and I paid Rs.1440/- online on 06th Sept 2011.
                But the installation could not happen because Airtel did not have connectivity at my address.
                After that I was told at least on three occasions that I will receive my refund cheque in 2 to 3 days.
                Three months have passed by and I still have not received my refund cheque.
                There is no response from the email with which I used to communicate.
                Kindly help.

                I have 2 connections on theairtel digitalTV ID [protected], I recharged with a six month pack for both the connections but only one got recharged. I have called customer care 6 times, each time after a long discussion and explanation they say it was a system error now both connection will work. However today one connection has been disconnected. This is frustrating after trying resolve the issue 6 times this is result. Airtel has again proved that they are worst service providers!

                My name is Pravin Kawale i am fed up of the Airtel digital tv service. most of the time there my airtel App is down while recharging account. today i did the 300 rupees recharge my amount is debitted from my account but recharge not done. and customer care told me it will take 24hrs to update on their account. really very pathetic service from AIRTEL

                  My Name is Augustine. My mobile number is [protected]. This is regarding my mobile Airtel GPRS billing issue. For the first time i have been choose the GPRS service. I have already sent many complaint e-mails to airtel customer care, Nodal officers and Appellate officers, but no one gave a proper solution/resolution for me till date.

                  - My mobile got disconnected on 29th October. Till date i have not got any proper response and my mobile was disconnected for the past 20 days.

                  - I called customer care(121) and went directly to airtel office, Santhome and everyone told me that i have to wait until my bill generate. That is More than 20 days from the disconnection date(29th Oct-20th Nov).

                  - My actual credit limit is Rs.2500. If the amount exceeds my credit limit Airtel customer care should send an alert sms or should have intimated me. But no one intimated me regarding the amount exceeds the credit limit. I received the sms alert one day before of the disconnection date(28th Oct). So after reaching the amount of Rs.24,500 only my mobile got connected.

                  - Also one of the nodal officer named Pankaja called me on 3rd November and she activated my mobile number and asked me to pay Rs.1000. As per her request i have paid 1000 rupees. But again my mobile got disconnected in 2nd day of reactivation(5th Nov).

                  - Also i didn't get a proper response when I went to Airtel office, Santhome on 19th Nov. One of a lady customer care treated me very badly. She activated my mobile number on Monday(19th Nov). I discussed all the above issue with her and asked that do i need to wait until my bill generate? She replied that i need to suffer till i pay the amount.

                  Now my mobile bill got generated. I just got shocked by seeing that generated bill. As per my bill 3G service got activated. But i have not activated any 3G service. I didn't used/downloaded the files through gprs for this 24K. Since i activated this service only my official mailing purpose. If i have more requirement like downloading/uploading files though mobile then i would have activated the 2G unlimited service. Also one of the customer care executive told me that unlimited service is available from Rs.149. But this was not intimated me when i activated the GPRS service. Whether this is a punishment given by a Airtel to a customer who is using the Airtel service for the past 8 years?

                  I was totally frustrated with the service. Please help me to come out of this issue. How can i pay the amount without using the service.

                  Yesterday three people came to my office from the Airtel payment section and threatened to pay the amount. I unable to work peacefully in office too. I totally got depressed with the Airtel service. Am getting several phone calls from various Airtel employees to pay the amount. But none of the customer care executives called me when my mobile got disconnected or when i filed the complaint regarding the billing issues.

                  Could you please take necessary action against them..

                      Hi am ramlal, my number is [protected] am facing a problem from MNP in last 12 days. I got a unique code and get a new MTS sim card on 05-11-12. I received a message from airtel number on As per your request for number port in on MTS network we would require 2 hours of no service time period from 09-nov-2012 12.00am to 12.45am
                      On that day onwards my number was is in " out of service " I was try to call my number its was in "The airtel number was in out of service ". Please confirm it when will deactivate my airtel number and confirm it. The customer care is not given proper response and airtel center also having same.,

                        on last month an airtel sales executive Mr.Abhimanyu[protected] called me & asked me to take airtel postpaid plan.. he say, As per 249 rental plan i will get 100 minute, 249 sms, & 200mbps internet free per month. I accept the offer, same day his executive come to my home and take my documents and 100 rs charge....
                        On 6th november my vodafone connection transfer to airtel postpaid connection..
                        after a week , on 13november,2012 i get an sms from airtel company, that ur bill for this month is 1,072Rs.(One Thousands Seventy rupees ) & I have to paid this amount till 30th november...

                        I got shocked. & immediately called to customer care .. and told my problem to them..
                        The customer care executive told me that " YOUR BILLING CYCLE DATE IS BETWEEN 10 TO 12 DATE OF EVERY MONTH. so u get the bill for this..on 9th november & 10th november u have use 88 mb internet for that u have charged 880 rupees for internet usage.....

                        I told customer care that I have no information about my bill cycle date & my sales executive not told me about bill cycle date...U should be informed me about my bill cycle date...
                        I raised an complaint against my inconvience....... and they told me that our concern backend team will get back to u within 24 hours.. I waited for few days but there is no reply from company, One more time i have called to CC , but they are saying we will arrange call back one more time ... but no call back from company....
                        I send an complaint email to company but there is no reply from company...

                          On 25th Oct 2012 , an executive from airtel came to my house and registered a broadband connection and he had taken rs. 250 for the registration ..
                          he said that within 2-3 days your connection will be done . After that no one had been came and when i called that executive he said that ur connection has been dropped because of technical fault in ur area and ur money will be returned via cheque and u will get the cheque within 3-4 days .
                          Since then, i didn't got the cheque . The name of that airtel executive is Shree Hare and his number is [protected]. He had even not given me any receipt at the time of doing the registration .

                            Am using AirTel Prepaid mobile service for past 6 years. For My mobile No.[protected], for last couple of month account balance have being deduced automatically stating VAS - Easy search has been used. I was not using any of the VAS services. Amount has being deduced without any my knowledge and not got any intimation(Not got any prompt messages or SMS regarding this) about amount deduction. I was unaware about this services and amount has been debiting constantly from my account.

                            When i accidentally checked on (17/11/2012) about last 5 value added service details, I was shocked to see 1.5 Rs has being deduced constantly for past few days. I am unaware totally how much amount has been debited from my account till now.

                            I contacted AirTel customer care on 18/11/2012 and notified about my problems.Ref.no.CBDWP[protected]. But again on 19/11/2012 an amount of 1.50Rs has been debited for using VAS Easy search. Again i Lodged a complaint with them Ref.no.CBDWP[protected] on 20/11/2012. again on 20/11/2012 and 22/11/2012 amount of 1.50Rs has deducted from my account.

                            when i tried contacting AirTel Customer support on 22/11/2012, I could able to Connect them. Again i lodged a complaint using another mobile (could able to contact now. How weird!) Ref.no.CU[protected].

                            Really Fed up calling them and they could not able to resolve my complaint. even i contacted their Zonal officers and yet my issue is not been resolved.

                            Am using Nokia 6030 which do not have any advanced Internet options but GPRS settings. I have change all my setting such that none of my configuration pointing AirTel mobile office settings. Also have Made service messages option OFF. There is no possibility of connecting to GPRS.

                            Please help me in resolving this issue and credit all my debited amount from my account. I don't know how much amount they will be debiting in future until issue resolved completely.

                            Airtel Prepaid Mobile Service — Barred Outgoing Calls to my mobile no.9789741148 even having provided all proof and everything.

                            Dear Sir,

                            I Got a prepaid mobile Connection and was using almost upto 15 days, during the address verification my labour attended and gave the wrong details. so my outgoing calls are barred by service proveder, So I went to the nearest service proveder (turaiyur) and gave the proof 3 times subsiquently. They Promised to me to activate my outgoing call. But till now my mobile number is not activated since last 45 days.So kindly i ask you to take the necessosary action to the people who are not taken the correct actions.The mobile no i recieved from the nearest dealer at turaiuyur is [protected].

                            I am constantly getting SMS from 543212 and 64611007 from Airtel Live regarding charges of Rs 7 for some Services which I have not subscribed to . They are regularly deducting the amount for the same. I've also complained to 198 and they are still doing the same for more than 3 weeks .Customer care representatives are hanging the Phone now instead of taking any action .
                            I need to know how to get them stop these deductions every Sunday.

                            I am Pankaj Joshi, I stay in Dombivli in Kalyan Taluka of Thane District in Maharshtra. Currrently I am using Airtel telecom service. I am using this service from last 2 years, whenever I try to use my service..it has very poor coverage..i am airtel prepaid customer..so customers like us keep faith by paying for the calls which we are going to use in future..we always hope that whenever we pay to airtel it will give us good service..but it doesnt happen..we dont even know the exact location of the headoffice..if at all we call the customer service they just give us the complaint numbers and nothing happens..and frustated customers like us just loose our patience and cannot stop ourself by giving bad words to those customer service agents..we dont know where to speak about this..because there is no one to hear us..customers like us dont even know where to complain..and who is the only trusted authority to fight against such crimes..if at all we file a case against it it will not affect these companies because they are too much richer than any airtel customer..so they can easily fight or defend themselves in court..sorry I dont know where to write a complaint on TRAI site..so please dont delete this mail...please please take some action..every common man is frustrated by such false services..

                            Airtel Prepaid Mobile Service — VRS download messages charging

                            Hi,

                            Airtel is continously sending me messages "VRS download" even though I don't need. Even if I donot read the messages they are charging 3 Rs per SMS.

                            I even went to the Airtel shop and fought with the call center guys and got 30Rs reversed but they still keep sending those messages and charging 3Rs. Sometimes 10 messages per day. This has to stop.

                            Airtel Prepaid Mobile Service — Shirking responsibility.

                            I purchased an Airtel SIM at Chennai two years back and have been regularly using it, activating and recharging at chennai only at local call rates. The mobile No. being [protected] in my name. Now after losing my mobile, I called Airtel to inform this loss of SIM card and also, to block it. But to my surprise, the Chennai Airtel customer care washed off their hands saying that this number belongs to Assam region and I have to call them to block it. I unsuccessfully tried to obtain the Assam Airtel customer care, but the Airtel Chennai gave me, instead, Punjab and Reliace customer care phone nos. but not Assam Customer care of Airtel.

                            Now, I wonder how safe mobile operator is, when I am able to purchase their Assam SIM at Chennai with ID and address proof of chennai and also, how I have been using it without roaming?? God only can give answers to these, and I wonder now that our country is reeling under terrorist attacks with SIMs bought under pseudo names in one state and is able to activate in another state!! God save India!!!

                            To whomsoever it may concern,
                            I regret to bring to your notice that i have trying to deactivate the VAS services but all gone in veins.. also tried calling customer care still not getting throuh... i have being debited for things which i have not activated also,
                            I get messages you have being activated for some service for few days and then after few days i get another message, stating the service is activated as you didnt reply to the message and then 10 rs is debited...
                            Thus i request you to stop all the VAS services like : spicy jokes, Matrimony and what not as soon as possible.
                            Also request you department not to disturb with this service offers.

                            Airtel — unfai trade pratices

                            I bought digital TV on 5 Oct. 2009 from local retailer at panipat under scheme 1790/-. what Airtel employee did that he activated another package without my consent of Rs 600/- (approx.) which in-turn deactivated my services because of -ve balance. I think it was a trick to make money. After a lot of complaints and emails to CCE
                            they are just escalating the problem and raising fingers at each other internally.
                            my complaints no. are - 1230059,1224540,1215104, on the same issue.
                            Currently my services are deactivated bcz of -ve Rs. 600 balance.

                            Airtel — Deducting amount regularly from cellphone without any reason

                            Sir,

                            I am a customer of Airtel Mobile phone service and my number is [protected]. But since few months often (daily two/three times) I am receiving messages from Airtel that a sum of 30 paise is being deducted for last call / SMS, although I do not know about this call/SMS.

                            Please note that I do not have any other facility for which they can deduct amount and also I never use internet etc. Except me nobody uses my phone.

                            I talked over phone with the Airtel Customer Care regarding this, but their reply is not satisfactory. Sometimes they tranfer the line to the higher authority, where always music goes on for a long time and ultimately cuts the line.

                            I request you to kindly do the needful and take necessary action against AIRTEL so that this type of incident will not happen in future.

                            Airtel Prepaid Mobile Service — Services withdrawn unnecessarily

                            I bought the Airtel Prepaid Connection on Jan1-2009 and submitted the documents required for address and identity proof. Now after 11 months have passed Airtel has withdrawn the services on my number and has pushed me unnecessaily into problem. Due to this i m unable to receive my important calls. On registering the complaint on phone (8th Dec-09) and at customer care centre (9th Dec-09) and depositing once again the documents, i was surprised when they conveyed that services will resume only after 5 days/15th Dec. This was very strange, even being the genuine consumer completing all the formalities required, the consumer is at the mercy of service provider. Will Airtel take the responsibility of losses i would incur due to their negligence of duty ("As they said documents were not found o.k during audit- so we withdrew services"-that too without even talking to me once).They misplaced my identity proofs/address proofs (as i have deposited the same docs which i deposited in Jan) and i am suffering due to them.

                            I have been charged unauthorisedly for a service that i have not subscribed for last 20 days Re 1 every day. I complained to customer care about the problem. But they did not resolved by problem. i am being mentaly tortured & humilated with this unsubscribed service charges. I want to sue the comapny bacoz thay have also did so in past by charging for services that i have not subscribed. I contacted the CC contineously for a week & told them about the problem but all in vain. I want that amount should be credited back to my account & apologise from the comapny for this humilasion.

                            Airtel Prepaid Mobile Service — deduction of account balance without my assent for internet service

                            i have been using Rs 98 monthly plan for mobile internet of airtel for which every month i recharge it as per my requirement. However the airtel has deducted Rs. 25/- from account and charged my mobile service for three days without my request. On consulting the customer care of the company , i was told that it is recharged at 0118 am on 01 Oct 10 on my request which is totally false and embarrassing as at that point of time my mobile was switched off and i was sleeping. There is no other person who uses my mobile other than me. i have asked the company to return the money which they are not doing.

                            Airtel people activate any Value added services at their own & deduct balance of custmor, & whenever u register a complain they give u a reference no. for your satisfaction, & no further action is taken.

                            I am Rahul from Gurgaon (Haryana) and I am using Airtel services since almost 12 years.
                            But since last 4 months I am facing poor services.
                            Issue:-
                            1. I am not getting ring on my cell phone while other people calling to me and they hear ring back on the cell phone.
                            2. I am not getting SMS on my airtel
                            Both the mention issues are intermittent.
                            3. Customer care number always disconnected after music. I have to call at least 5-6 times which is really time wasting for me.
                            4. Around 20 advertisement SMS daily with unwanted calls from bank, caller tunes, policy

                            I need resolution for point 1 and point 2 .
                            In September I have called about the same issue and they were saying just re-insert the SIM and restart the phone .I did that. But I know it was really stupid work around which they have given; so the result was in vain;
                            After that I called number of time in airtel customer care but issue was the same.
                            Recently I called again and customer care executive and they said might be this issue with the SIM; So I have to change my SIM card which I did. I gave 30 rupee to customer care center ( Gurgaon Sec-14) for duplicate SIM (even it was worth only -25/- rupee);But even after that I am facing the same problem;

                            I didn’t get back any call or any update on this.

                            Any buddy if you have any issue (same or any case) with Airtel service, please writes to me an email; I will get back to you in help to resolve you problem; otherwise consumer court will charge you 500/- for filling case. I have good contacts in Consumer court (http://www.consumercourtforum.in/); and I have taken all the updates from them which really help to resolve this type of cases.

                            I have AirTel prepaid connectio, mobile No. [protected].AirTel activates premium services without asking the customer and deducts the charges. This is clear cut cheating. authorities should take stern action such cheat companies.

                            I have been using Airtel service for 4 years. From last few months i have experience of deduction in balance everyday. Previously i could talk to customer care but now, even for that we have to pay. When suddenly in the morning I come to know that my balance is gone then how could I talk to customer care?? First time i have got minus balance. I never ask for any offers and facilities then also Airtel starts some Paid Offers on my number and start deducting my balance. I have option to change service but first i thought lets just inform all this that have been happening with me.
                            Its actually like cheating public on their face.
                            STOP IT.

                            AirTel — Unfair trade practices

                            Dear All,
                            I have a pre-paid connection with Airtel. In the past four months , I have seen that my re-charged amount gets used up even without me making any call. I found out they send lot of messages which I have not even requested for. Even after raising complaint in the 198 number , I keep receiving some messages and amount gets deducted. How can raise a complaint against Airtel on these unfair trade practices? Please help
                            My mobile # [protected]. Simcard was not worked and got diplay of "Insert Sim Card". I checked up with Airtel outlet (Reach Communication @ Chromepet) on Saturday 30/7/2011 and as per the advice from Airtel Customer Care office,
                            I was asked to replace the damaged one with duplicate. Infact Customer care office asked me to pay Rs. 25/ towards the duplicate card but shockingly I was asked to pay Rs.175/ towards the same. When cross checked with Customer care they informed that the Airtel outlet may not have Rs. 25/ duplicate simcard with them and must pay as they demand to get on otherwise asked me to check with those having Rs.25/ card and asked me to note the contact numbers. I'm put up at Tambaram and all the contact places were far away from the residence. Then I'm forced to buy the duplicate card for Rs. 175/ and submitted the required documents once again. The attendant of the outlet told me that the activation will be done within the timeframe of 8 hrs to 24 hrs. I checked with customer care and they instructed to contact the airtel outlet from where I got the duplicate. Till now I couldn't get connected to the office number given by customer care and hence I submit my grievance to know wheather I must go to the concerned office to verify inspite of my work load or how long shall I wait to get activated? My communication is in standstill. Please expedite my greivence.

                            AirTel Bharti — auto deduction of balance in name of value added services

                            Good morning,
                            My name is Major Sahib Baljinder Singh.This complaint is being lodged because inspite of repeated communications on numerous occasions with airtel bharti and informing them how they keep on deducting balance in the name of value added services without my subscribing to any of them, they continuing doing it and also they never refund back any money, even on acknowledging that mistake has been done at there end. Day before yesterday, i received a message that friends chat has been renewed and Rs 30 will be deducted in next two days. i spoke to customer care and the guy there told me that no service is active on my number and hence no money will be deducted but last night they deducted those Rs 30. Also, i was told that one more value added service is active on phone i.e. JOB. and they deduct Rs 1 daily at around 0200 am and i never get any message that my balance has been deducted. its like MID NIGHT ROBBERY. My phone number is [protected].
                            I request that last few deductions may please be checked with airtel bharti and my money may please be refunded back.

[protected]and [protected]. complained a dozen time. every time i complain they credit money which i have lost. but deduction is continued. they r not suggesting any solution. some times i lose Rs 4.50/day. i have deleted all my internet profiles. push mail is off. pls suggest some solution.
                            I too have the same problem as mentioned above for my number [protected].. I called the customer care but no response from them now my call too barred to 198. I want immediate response..
                            same here having the same problems and the people at the customer center might be receiving many calls of the same problem but they are acting as if they are hearing it for the 1st tym...

                              I am fed-up with the automatic activation of VAS services and deduction of my mobile balance money by airtel prepaid mobile service. please help me.
                              First, on 12 Nov 12, at 4.11 pm , I got a message that I have been forcefully activated with "ASK AN EXPERT" service and Rs 30 has been deducted from my balance. I have complaint regarding this at 198 and request them to unsubscribe from this service and refund me deducted amount. After this call, I received a reference no. "CBDCC[protected]" but could not get my deducted amount back till now.
                              and today again,i.e. on 22 Nov 12, at 9.25 pm , I got a message that I have been activated with "GOLF CLUB CLUB_30_20" service and another Rs 20 has been deducted from my balance. I tried to complaint regarding this at 198 but could not complain because on dialing to 198, i have not been connected to customer care representative. So I opted to complain through you sir.
                              please, help me in getting my amount back.
                              one more thing I want to tell you sir that I have registered my mobile no. for NDNC in fully blocked category on the first day of my this sim purchase i.e. on 06 Nov 12. but still i am being disturbed with flash messages and company offer messages. Please help regarding this also.

                              Airtel — Automatically Activate VAS

                              I have a Airtel number in Haryana. I am using airtel since last 6 years. One thing the airtel is going, they automatically start VAS on your number like Hello Tunes etc. The customer got charged and if you call customer care, then they will tell you that it is free offered by company for 1 month only and as you don't un-subscribed it, so they have charged you.

                              Secondly i use Daily Mobile office to access internet from my cell phone using GPRS. One time, when i got it activated, i started to surf, surprisingly my balance goes to 0.06paisa from Rs. 250. I complaint to airtel CSE immediately, but they don't gave any answer regarding these charges. So I filed a complaint on 10th March, 2009. My complaint no. is 24381700,[protected]. But even after a month passed, i don't get any solutions from them. Each time I called there CSE, they told me that they will give you solution with in 48 working hours.
                              But i have not got any solution till now.

                              Airtel is too much cheater. cheater, cheater, cheater, cheater...

                              I don't have the words to give them.

                              In my airtel number they are detecting ten rupees for some activation.
                              But from my side I have not activated anything this happens me in a month four times.
                              Each time i need to contact customer care and ask them to refund the money .

I have tried all kinds of methods to deactivate it but it is impossible to for a message to be successfully sent. Meanwhile they keep charging for an unwanted service. When i dial the number to deactivate cricket daily, they send back "you are not subscribed to this pack". This is a real nuisance & the customer care needs to be more cooperative.
                              Please deactivate this service immediately.

                              myself Kaushlendra kumar,I am using Airtel mobile service.The service provider autometically started Airtel Live Tv service on my number and deducted Rs40 a week for the same.they have deducted an amount of Rs 80 for 2 weeks for the said service. Company has done same thing earlier also but on complaining on this forum they retuned the deducted money. Customer care people assured me last time that all such servises has been deactivated on my request,but the assurence seems hollow as every week they keep on deducting RS 40 for Live Tv service without my knowledge .Similar thing happened on 28th Nov & 5th dec.I request you to take stern action against airtel

                                We just bought a new 6 month DTH package "South Value Plus 6M ADV Rent 9 HD Sep-12" 8 days back. Since we are not comfortable with the channels in the package, we wanted to upgrade to a much costlier "Magnum HD 6M ADV Rent Pack Oct-12" package. However, we are told that the upgrade cannot happen before the completion of the 6 month period of the South Value Plus package. It doesnt make sense to me that AIRTEL doesnt want to make more money with the package change. Its just plain ridiculous that a subscriber is not allowed to upgrade to a higher valued package. Could someone help or throw insights on this?

                                    Hi All

                                    Recently, someone theft my mobile in traveling, after that I went for Airtel Relationship centre to get a duplicate SIM. The people who were there was telling me that we do not have SIM stock, it will come after 2 days.

                                    Then I started inquiring to know the center where I can get the SIM card in urgency. Finally I called Customer care people but they told me to go to their shops located in these ares T.Nagar, Nugambakkam, Porur and TTK Road, however I could not get it.

                                    I waited for 1 week then I went to their relationship center again, they gave me a SIM card pack on which the cost of the same has been printed as Rs.25/- (I heard the cost of the same is Rs.25 only from their customer care division). while collecting the SIM card pack, I asked about this cost issue.

                                    They start telling tricky points for convincing me. "Airtel Money" through which we can make payments to third parties, but this facility has been inbuilt already (mCheck) in all SIM cards.

                                    Now they try to use shiny words to sell the SIM card for high cost as they are authorized begger in Telecom Industry.
