Airtel — UCC

This is bring to your notice that despite assurances and even after inclusion of my number – [protected] – in NDNC, I still am receiving unsolicited calls and SMS’s from unwanted sources.

My first call was given in the month of Oct and 45 days thereafter I was assured, starting 3rd Dec 2009, I will not receive any UCC from within or outside your operators.

There was no response to this and I again made a call last week to check the status where in I was again assured that this would be looked into.

I am totally dissatisfied with manner that this issue has been treated with no proper response from your representatives. IF THIS IS NOT RESOLVED I WILL TAKE THIS TO TELECOM REGULATORY AUTHORITIES WITHOUT ANY CONSIDERATION AND WILL ALSO DISCONNECT FROM YOUR SERVICE.

I NEED NO FURTHER ASSURANCE BUT ACTION.

Airtel Prepaid — Airtel Ringtone Scam

I am an airtel Lifetime prepaid subscriber. Recently I was told by my friends that they are getting obscene and rude messages when they call my number. I complained regarding this to airtel and they told me that its a ringtone that I have subscribed to. They also mentioned that they have deducted Rs 10/- from my account for this ringtone. I was shocked because I never subscribed to any ringtone and on top of that , such obscene ringtone. I told them to stop the ringtone immediately and refund Rs 10/- to my account. They told they can stop the ringtone but cant refund the amount. I would like to highlight this scam which they are running by deducting these small amounts from user accounts without their knowledge. Please let me know what options I have to fight this out with them. Its a matter of principal for me and airtel should not go scott free just because they are a big organization. strangely they were too eager to dissconnect my account if I wished so.

I would like to highlight this scam which Airtel is running by deducting hafty amounts from subscribers accounts without their knowledge. Please forward this complaint to the concerned authority(TRAI) for taking necessary criminal and civil proceeding against Airtel
It is a matter of principle for me and Airtel should not go scott free for their extrem negligent act.

even on my no. airtel has twice activated two services without my knowledge & deducted Rs. 45 each time . After complaint they refunded my money last time, this time I m waiting for the same.

On 27/11/2010, I was told by my relatives that they are getting obscene and rude message/ringtone when they call my number [protected] then immidiately I complained regarding this to airtel and they told me that this the ringtone to which i have subscribed.They also told me that they have deducted a hafty amount from my account for this ringtone. I was shocked because i have never ever subscribed for any ringtone.I told them to stop the ringtone immidiately and refund the deducted ammount to my account.They told they will stop the ringtone and will refund the same, but didnot done the same till now.Now again airtel started deducting a hafty amount from my account by starting unsolisted commercial communications on my said phone without my consent. I complained regarding this to airtel and they told me that this service of mukhwak to which i have subscribed.They also told me that they have deducted a hafty amount from my account for this service. I was shocked because i have never ever subscribed for this service.I told them to stop the same immidiately and refund the deducted amount to my account.They told me they will stop the service and will refund the same, but they didnot done the same till now
I would like to highlight this scam which airtel is running by deducting these amounts from subscribers accounts without their knowledge and consent.Please take necessary action on my this complaint and give me justice .
It is a matter of principle for me . Airtel should not go scott free for their extream negligent act for mear bussiness sake.
Hence the Telecom Regulatory Authority Of India is hereby requested to get the matter investigated throughly by obtaining call details alongwith concerned Tower locations of my said mobile number from 01/07/2011 to 02/07/2011 from Airtel which will be self explanatory.Please take appropriate legal, civil and criminal action against the said mobile phone operator and give me justice.This is second fraud is being committed by Airtel with my accounts without my consent.So this act of Airtel fullfils the definition of criminal breach of trust and same is punishable under section 406 of Indian Penal Code.
Now on 07.07.2011 & 08.07.2011 i sent SMS at 1909 three times from my abovementioned mobile phone no. [protected] but the same have not recieved by my service provider airtel and I recieved back a message showing, "check operator service"
So Kindly pass an appropriate order against Airtel by directing Airtel to register my mobile phone no.[protected] in their, "National Consumer Preference Register" (NCPR).
So Kindly also pass an appropriate order against Airtel by directing Airtel to refund my money which they have deducted two times without my consent.
It is also worth mentioning here that Airtel is harrasing me (a lady), even without my fault resultantly compelled me to leave Airtel. So now i am also considering to leave Airtel and choose some another mobile phone service provider of punjab.
Please give me justice at the earliest.

yes its true that airtel is charging for unecessary packages without subscribing. even i have experienced 3-4 times.
Dear sir,

I had been registered for DND and after 7 days of registration also I am getting unwanted airtel messages which are disturbing me a lot, please stop this otherwise I don't have any other option than throwing out the sim of airtel...
