On my cellphone No. [protected] with prepaid lifetime incoming service from Airtel roaming charges at the rate od Rs.99 have been deducted for 4 months from credit balance in my account during visit to USA. Roaming facility was neither reqested by me and the cellphone was switched off during my entire stay USA. Airtel should refund the entire deducted amount and the local staff are not helpful at all.

    Hello

    Its been long time I told Airtel's customer care executive that my regular bill payment was automated and payment was through SBI ESC payment system. It was running successfully from last 1.5 years and suddenly I stopped getting bill notification from Airtel.

    Hence I think It is the mistake from Airtel's part and I had gone through a lot of stress and harassment while relocating to a new location because of your collection call and intimations. There is no mistake from my part. If I am not getting bill then how can Airtel assume that I will pay for it.

    Please dig deep into this matter and find out the reason why I did not receive automated bill on my SBI account.

    I am attaching the calculation which is due (INR 835.47 only please see the calculation attached ) from my side even accepting the mistake from Airtel's side. Please see the calculation and let me know if Airtel ready to settle for that amount.

    Though I called Airtel (121) several times and asked them to close my connection and have gone through a lot of stress due to all this carelessness from Airtel's side, still being a loyal Airtel customer from over 6 years and I do not want to spoil that relation and bond just because of one miss happening due to miss communication between SBI bank's ECS and Airtel payment system. I expect Airtel to ratify this error and live to their "customer first" values.

    Please see what you can do over this issue.

      Internet user ID No mp 291108dsl , we have taken the plan and they told us in this plan 2500 minutes calss are free and but it is not provided . the area service provider has given the other plan in wrongfully manner and after that we have told us that cut the connection and taken other connection so please kindly give my answer that this present plan is 699surf or not .

Why you activated this service in my number. I don’t know. I think this is the passion of wrongly deduction by Airtel. And I think you have not updated with your Constantly department that for I suffer. I am tired to stop the service of Miss call alert service which is directly activated by Airtel . And I am not understood why you have activated Miss Call Alret in number. This is kind for your information that I have not activated Miss Call Alert. Please refund my wrongly deduction balance of Rs. 5 immediately. And inform your Miss Call alert department that doesn’t again activate this service in my number.         Airtel Prepaid Service — being charged wrongly

        I have been using an airtel connection in the bihar & jahrkhand network with the no.[protected].
        I had activated a 'super value voucher' according to which I should be chargedRs1.49/min to any std airtel but since 9th oct 2007 i'm being charged rs5 /min and local charges @rs3/min.
        I've been charged more than Rs120 in this way.
        I called up the customer care and I'm being told that they don't have any information of those calls. Moreover i've been told to wait for 24hrs & when i call again i'm being told to wait for 72hrs & so on but the problem is not being solved.
        I hope I'm heard in this way atleast.

        AirTel Live WAP services — wrongly deduction

        I did not download any game n I received a SMS from 64611099 stating Rs 99. Kindly redressal is saught.

        Airtel Prepaid Service — Wrongly deducted amount from Airtel Prepaid Balance.

        I am using the mobile no. [protected]. Recently I got a message through SMS saying that "Thanks for downloading JavaGame from Airtel live WAP service. You've been charged Rs. 99.

        I have never downloaded any JavaGame from any site. I am not able understand why I have charged Rs.99 which I have not used.

        I am very disappointed after seeing this SMS message & also deduction of charges.

        I want the company to look into the matter very urgently & Refund the charged amount of Rs. 99 back to my balance immediately.

        Airtel Prepaid Service — Balance deducted for service which was not activated by me.

        I am using Airtel prepaid card. my balance of 30 rupees deducted for service job alarts which was not activated by me.when i ask to custemer care he said that the service was activated by me and balance was not refund. earlier before VAS download service which was not activated by me & airtel deducting money for that. I am not attainding any airtel add call & any any az promo message then how any type of service gets activated thats the mystrey for me. i think they activated the service & deduct money for that. I want to complent for that in TRY but i did not know its complent id
        I am using Airtel prepaid card. My prepaid No. is [protected]. Today in the morning i made a call regarding internet by mobile to costomer care. the costomer care person gives some informations like terrif and activation of service. This service was not activated by me but airtel deducted money(Rs.10) from my balance.I try many times and whole the day to contact costomer care officer but contact not made. How any type of service gets activated thats the mystrey for me. I think they activated the service & deduct money for that.Even nither the service was activated by me nor i am useing internet than why airtel deduct my Rs.10.Therefore AIRTEL HAVE TO BACK RS.10 IN MY BALANCE.OTERWISE I WILL QUIT FROM YOUR PREPAID SERVICE.

        In same situation i have gone through

        Airtel Customer care don't have any answer for that, he told me they cant do anything & disconnected my call

        what type of service they are giving don't know,

        I had activated mobile office services on my phone on 24 oct 09 and also on previous dates my balance of rs. 20 was deducted but the services was not activated on my phone settings will not come to my phone and this has been done 5 or more times .
        I've been charged more than Rs120 in this way.
        i am dialling the customer care number but the customer care number was blocked from my phone.
        hence i am dialling from other numbers to the customer care executives and that they don't have any information and they are not properly answered my queries replied that type AIRTEL then problem to 121 i have been send 20 to 30 times but there is no reply of my queries so on but the problem is not being solved.
        I hope I'm heard in this way atleast.

My Mobile no is [protected].I have a complaint against your services.When ever I receive any call or SMS, everytime u are charging some amount and deducting from my balance.I dont understand why u r doing like this.Today suddenly u have deducted Rs.20/- from my balance toward SMS cost when no call has been made or SMS has been sent from my mobile.Why? I am not happy with your service.

        Kindly solove my problem. I also have request that I dont want any SMS from Airtel service because for that also u r charging. So from today onwards please dont send any SMS from service.

        Airtel Mobile Services — WRONGFULLY DEDUCTION OF BALANCE ALL TIME

        My name is Rajesh Dumbani. My Airtel Mobile No. is [protected]. i m using aritel mobile services from last ten years. From last few months i m observing AireTel Mobile Company any time dedcute balance from you mobile and after my serveral complaints few times they refund the balance and accpeted it is wrongful decduction but again on Wednesday 18.05.2011 they dedcuted balance from my account when i again complaint to their Customer Care Cernter on 198 they assured me the refund of balance and on again friday Morninng 20.05.2011 i found they again deducted balance from my account and when i tried to call to compalaint helpline No. 198 it is not receable and i dailed the same number from other mobile number i found that they the CUSTUMOR CARE EXECUTIVE HAD BLOCKED MY MOBILE NUMBER so i can not complaint them and they keep deduct the wrongfully balance from my mobile account.

        i can say this act of Compnay and their customers care excutives is very shameful and it shower deficinies in their services. I ADVICE TO ALL USER OF AIRETL SWTICH TO OTHER MOBILE COMPANIES.

            AirTel — not getting a sim even after one week

            This is to inform you that I Madhumita Das presently working with Icfai University, jharkand Ranchi had applied for a pre paid mobile service.My mobile no is [protected].even after submitting all the documents this company is playing with me.after a week also they are not able to activate my sim.so is it the way to treat a customer who is going in a legal way to get a connection?

                I have submitted Rs 750 for the Airtel broadband connection on Oct-21.
                My form number is 1975994. Bharti is incapable of putting up broadband connection saying that they do not have free port in the switch.
                Also till date, they have not returned my money back.
                I have been in constant touch with their call centre Care NCR [Care.[protected]@airtel.in] which have filed number of complaints but are good for nothing.
                Also I have been following the same with some Mr. Gajendra ([protected]) who is also not able to get me the refund though being appointed by Airtel for such cases.
                I have contacted Mr. Archit ([protected]) who is also reluctant and sound incapable saying it is handled by third party and they have no control.
                Apart from this, I get 15-20 calls everyday from Airtel asking " Sir you have applied for broadband connection etc etc) but they bunch o[censored]neducated people are not aware of their own incapabilities of port not being free.
                When I complained same with Archit, he said that he can not do anything for this.

                I am looking for the refund and action against everybody involved.

                barti airtel — mental harrsement

                COMPLAINT.

                This is to bring to your kind notice that I was using your mobile services mobile number [protected]

                Under name mohd adnan malik billing address d-158 sector 28 sanjay nagar gaziabad.

                My mobile was stolen I logged FIR and submitted same to your rajnagar airtel show room.

                I never had any bill copy to pay my bill. As there was no bill given to me I was not aware what my amount was.

                Yesterday a person from your company walked in to my place namely Mr ranjit carrying mobile no:-[protected] and started shouting at me stating I owned airtel mobile services rs 1900 and I had not paid bill.i told him that I had not received any bill so I have not paid. HIS TONE WAS TREATING AND WAS ROUGH AND RUDE.

                AIRTEL HAS GOT MY ALTERNATE MOBILE NUMBER AND MY EMAIL ADDRESS WHY I WAS NOT CONTACTED ON MY ALTERNATE MOBILE NUMBER OR BILL EMAILED TO ME.

                I felt offended and as free citizen of free India has LEGAL RIGHT TO FILE A DEFORMATION SUIT AGAINST Bharti Airtel limited for denting my social image.

                The above said person said he had worked for recovery team of bank he said he will be back on 27.1.10.As per law I can loge a case of tress pass against the above said person as an individual and file a deformation case against barti airtel.

                I WAS NOT AT FAULT STILL I WAS TREATED ROUGHLY.

                I need answer failing which I will take legal action.

                BHARTI(AIRTEL)CAN NOT TAKE FREE CITIZEN OF FREE INDIA FOR-GRANTED.

                  This complaint is regarding Airtel Postpaid sumber disconnection request submitted on September 30. My number was deativated next day itself. I settled all the bills 27th October but they never gave me a closure document, neither I was aware that I'll get such documnet until that time. Without my notice, AirTel activated my number somehow and the utilization was heavy in one day. I don't know who or how it got activated. I thrown this SIM card after cancelling my number. I've been asked for the usage now, which I never used. How AirTel can activate a number without our notification and how can they assign this numberto anybody else. Now, follow up call on bill collection has became torture for me. I sent all proofs to them, but there is now response at all from AirTel. I sent the cancellation acknowledgement copy to corporaterelations.[protected]@airtel.in and [protected]@airtel.in. I received a unique reference no.[protected]. I don't see any further action taken by AirTel and give any answer to me.

                    Ia m working as house wife in small town(Location:Karur).I got Sim card from airtel post paid for my cousin with my Permanent address.Becoz iam a regular customer and i have used your network with lot of airtel cards.My cousin used your network for long time but for particular month he fails to pay the money.Airtel Employee(Ranjith working under Ramesh Babu) came to my house and he asked me to pay for the money since my name and address is used for the Sim card.I told that sir,Within one or two days,I will pay the money,since my cousin using your provider.I informed to my cousin abt the situation.But he is in out of station.cousin told me soon he will pay the bill.But Ranjith(airtel Employee) came again and he used abusive words and snatched my mobile phone.I made a complaint to Police station regarding the situation.

                    Whether any rules are there,Mobile phone should be snatched for without paying call bills?.or else he might have given advocate notice. I gave assurance that my cousin will pay phone bills as soon as possible.But behavior of Airtel employee is a atrocious thing..Please check it out this issue.

                      I use to get similar messages through email, claiming me as the winner o[censored]K Lottery, so since then I stay cautious and go Google.

                      But I feel that Consumers should be protected, who knows how their systems work, but they surely find a passage through the service providers.

                      A strict action should be taken against those frauds and also the service providers
                      on 12 th may 2009 a msg frm ta-bpq came which writes the same as the previous comment. so i also agre to take some strict and legal action against such type of crime.

                      Same problem here. BB services are not getting activated on my 8520 model. the customer care fellows and to the extent that even their supervisors are incompetent for handling BB issues.

                      they have a few standard responses to all queries that they cannot handle:

                      1 - your details have been forwarded to the "technical team" (i'm almost sure that this is a dummy team now)
                      2 - prepaid server has some issues

                      Airtel is a big chor, their customer care is misleading and they do not respond to the phone/emails. You keep wasting money, time and patience nothing happens.

                      For last 3 days I have tried getting resolution from all possible resources nothing helps, everytime i get an assurance of 24hrs (which never comes)

                      I am facing the same problem. They could not activate bb service on my prepaid. The tehnical team is as clueless as ever. I remember one lady from technical team suggesting me to chnage to post paid (i have a feeling that Airtel is trying to dissuade the prepaid customer from using bb sevice). But i agree that due to this problem Airtel has lost its brand value for me. I will never use any Airtel service ever and will suggest others not to. I have some amount left on my prepaid number, as soon as that gets over I am going to swithch to vodafone as i alredy have one number from vodafone but i use my iphone on that.
                      the most appaling of all problem is the clueless support team. i have only one word for airtel 'disgusting' .
                      I too face this problem and purely AirTel lying to lure money from the customers i guess. Before buying this mobile i am contacting the 121 and to the blackberry department 7070 and inquired.

                      They said once i use the blackberry phone and send some sms with enough balance the service will be activated.

                      but after spending Rs.14, 500/- for a blackberry handset and Rs.1000/- for a recharge when i contacted them, they are telling that prepaid blackberry system in failure and they don't know when it will be activated. When i surf i find lot of people are suffering more than 2+ months.

                      So i feel no fresh activation is taking place and purely when ever some one calls them they are keen on collecting the money i guess.

                      AirTel be responsible for customers. with our support only you have grown to this heights and main share for u comes from the prepaid department.

                      Respect us first before looking ur postpaid.

                      I am too suffering as i am associated with absolute disgusting telecom provider Airtel...i was using N97 and i changed to blackberry for official purpose...but in vain.

                      i agree for each single word has telling about AirTel, they are very bad in service ive went to airtel showroom and they told me to call 121, as you all i called 121 but they sent me 7070, but when i call 7070 they told me to top up with 900INR as you all again i top up 900 but when i did that they asked me to change my number to postpaid!! so whats this non since after i paid 900 they telling me this!!! swear god they are cheaters cheaters cheaters.. cause they could have tell me before i top up there is a problem with BB service... anyhow i discovered AirTel the worse telecome in India, guess Aircel is better cause am using BB service by them connection and everything is fine...

                      I have activated the Blackberry Service under Rs.299 plan on 15.08.10 under Rs.299 plan and I have reactivated under 399 plan on 25.08.10. All the Blackberry services worked fine till 29.08.10. All the Blackberry services are deactivated on 30.08.10 from your server team without informing me and without any reason!.

                      I have contacted the Blackberry customer care more that 30 time and finally I one senior customer care leader named Mr. Gaurav has committed to solve the issue before 10.09.10. But nothing happened.

                      Without solving my problem and having debited Rs.299+399 and being in Deactivated mode of BB sevices, I got one sms from Airtel state that again I have debited Rs.399 on 25.09.10. But, the services not activated after that also.

                      I went to Pondicherry Aitel Customer care office on 25.09.10 and explained my problem with Mr. Vairavel and I have got the interaction Id no[protected] by contacting the customer care from there. But even that also, my problem remains same.

                      Totally I have debited 1097 (299+399+399) and I did not used your services. So, I need the full refund immediately.

                      Today is Feb 17th, 2011 and apparently nothing has changed, I bought a new prepaid card one week ago and still trying to activate the Blackberry plan.                       I have had a nightmare as I ported my number to you as I was told that your service and network is good. While I agree that your network is good but I must say I have had terrible customer service from your customer care advisors. I select language English on IVR I get connected to an advisor who refuses to speak in English and asks me to speak in Hindi only.
                      I am trying to activate BIS on my blackberry curve 9300 but am unable to do so. Your advisors give me different information.
                      I was told to send airtelbb to 121 and I got a plan list

                      I was told to select the plan and send to 121 so I selected BB4 and sent to 121 but did not get a response. I sent so many sms but no reply.Finally I got an sms to activate by sending BIS (model number) to 121, I did that but am getting response We are unable to process your request. If you are a new Prepaid customer please try again after 24 hours. Postpaid customers can call 121 for activation

                      I called 3 times to your customer care and the advisors are asking me to call 7070 and when I call that number it gives me a response that I am not registered and hence not authorized to call that number so please call 121.

                      I spoke to Mansia one of your advisors this morning who was rude and said he can’t help me so I asked for supervisor but he refused to give me a supervisor. He too was telling me to call 7070 and I tried explaining that I tried calling that number and I told him what response I am getting but he was not willing to listen and said that this is the number we give customer’s, I can’t help you any further.



                      Where do I go from here? I came to Airtel due to poor Network and Service from BPL and I think I have made a mistake. Please revert back failing to which I will have to port out my number from you as I can’t accept a regular service on a Blackberry.

                      Everytime the same story...Airtel is the worst in solving customer problems instead their customer care executives evade the issue and with they unprofessional talk misguide people. I suggest People stop using airtel. It's such a BUM service provider. All of a sudden my BB internet connection goes down and they say that it is the server problem and everybody is affected. When I ask that how is that my friends and colleagues are not affected, they say only some are affected. First I tried calling customer care 121, complete WASTE of my time and energy because some stupid person with no knowledge about how to handle a complaint and what questions to ask and how to rectify the issue, speaks to me in a crappy accented english which I barely understand and gives me this no. [protected] supposedly the new airtel BB complaints number. When I call this number, one more executive probably taking the call in his dreams picks up and tells me the same old series of BS things. Switch off, switch on your phone and BANG ON!!! EDGE will become caps and the internet will start working...which obviously doesn't happen :( Then he asks me to take the battery out and put back in and restart my phone...poor thing!!! this escape also doesn't work !!! Then he finally says the above BS which i mentioned and then I am given time span of 3-4hrs which will take the problem to get rectified...and believe me it will never get rectified...because they just don't care. I tried calling the Nodal Office but they don't seem interested in picking the calls. So after next 3 hrs I am planning to call the Appellate Officer whose considered as the highest authority to complain. If this also turns out to be a dead end then I am switching my service provider :) :) Do hell with their idiotic solutions...I mean are we dumb enough to be that if you switch off and then switch on your phone the services will resume???????? I mean, wake up executives, you need to get some fresh air and fresh solutions to mislead the customers !!! and if any airtel employee or the complaints officers are reading this...YOU HAVE GOT THE MOST INEFFICIENT EXECUTIVES who have no idea how to solve a problem for a given customer.

                        My son Vinay Shekar purchased AIR TEL Dish TV pack during month of April 2009. Since last One month we are experiencing problems as NO SIGNAL Error No. B001 is continuosly displayed.
                        After several complaints Ten days back one fellow from AIR TEL CUSTOMER CARE centre came stayed in our house Ten minutes
                        asked several questions. Then his mobile rang and he answered and told me that another customer waiting and went away. He never came back. On alternate day another person came and replaced set top box and said problem has been solved. My air tel dish TV worked for few days then same problem occurred.Before purchasing Air TEL dish TV I had high regard for AIR TEL. Now I can say even a neighbourhood mechanic is far better than air tel engineers. This type of worst service I have ever seen. I can say Air tel service is irresponible, arrogant, inordinate delay and incompetent. we regret having purchased Aior TEL dish TV..

                          I was on a plan of 1499 + taxes for a 512 kbps Internet connection. AIRTEL changed the tariff plan to 1099 and did not notify me at all. They continued charging a higher tariff from me for no extra benefit. My concern is in case a tariff plan is being changed, all customers on the higher tariff need to be brought down to the new revised lower tariff and be notified. This is daylight robbery and I request Legal Action to be taken against AIRTEL Broadband.

                          Airtel — Tariff plan issue

                          I have sent an email to [protected]@airtelindia.com on 20-Mar-09 to change my tariff plan. After that I have sent more than 20 reminders to '[protected]@airtelindia.com', 'Appellate.[protected]@Airtel.in', 'NodalOfficer.[protected]@airtel.in' but in vain. I have even called customer care & have spoken to retention team, but waste of time. Everytime I call, will have to explain everything from the beginning.                           I applied for a new airtel broadband connection on[protected] form a airtel marketing personnel for the 'Explorer 1099' plan which features 384kbps during day and 1mbps at night(10pm-6am).

                          After the connection is installed on[protected], i come to know that the plan i have been given is 'swift 1099' 512kbps day and night.

                          I have contacted airtel and asked them to provide the correct plan, but they are refusing to do so quoting that the 'explorer 1099' plan is not available.

                          Since my usage is mainly at night, this is a severe drawback for me as i am getting only 512kbps at night instead of 1mbps.

                          Airtel personnel accept that its their mistake, but refuse to honour the plan that I opted for.

                          Airtel — removal of tariff

                          I use airtel prepaid number, my cell number is [protected]. I had reduced my tariff to 60 paise per call by recharing with some plan. Yeserday[protected] that plan was suddenly removed and my call rates become rs. 1 and rs. 1.5. I called customer care for the reason, they said that i had recharged with my number with rs.65 and because of which my low tariff plan is removed.                           We have Airtel landline and broadband connection at home. We raised request for change of plan on 2nd may 2010 and then followed up with Airtel to see this happening. But they no one bothered to take any action, despite of their promise of calling us to follow up, there were no calls. We raised complain regarding this, but no action was taken. Just today got to know that complain was closed without discussing us. They never sent any emails and they are now claiming they sent a email informing of changes. This is such a lousy customer service. Concerned floor manager told us, he he not able to search mails which we sent, and just today he was searching for our emails. They are such lousy liars and he again promised to get a call back tomorrow, but i am sure no one will call me. I have decided to escalate this further.

                          First of all i had taken the airtel connection only because of the fact that i was able to migrate to older better plans, i called up the customer care and confirmed it also. But after a month when i requested for changing the plan they said it was not possible and hence I wanted to cancel my airtel internet connection on october 2010.

                          After requesting for cancellaation, a lady by the name Shaista from the customer retrieval department of Airtel told me that there was new plan of Rs500/- (Unlimited download with same speed through out the month for Rs500), i agreed to migrate to that plan
                          But now wheb the the bill for this month arrived, the tariff has bot been changed it continues to be Rs.899/-
                          The airtel customer service is the worst of which ever i have used. It has been only 3 months since i started using the broadband connection and i have called up the customer care department nearly 50 times as of now for various problems.
                          Still the tariff has not been changed to the amount that i was promised .I thought customer satisfaction was their priority...!!!!

                            i am an Aritel consumer Usha Mathur and i am holding three Airtel numbers i.e.[protected], [protected] and [protected] in CUG CORP 2005 Plan-Rj.
                            Previously i requested for ECS facility but later requested to stop the facility because i faced lots of inconvenience by Airtel. I called on 121 and 198 services and also sent a written application to stop ECS facility to Airtel.
                            Inspite of all my efforts company at one end getting payment by cheque and on the other end continuing ECS facility for the same bill.
                            As a result i am paying lots of bounce charge each time without any reason. i am also paying late fee charges also.
                            I request you to stop ECS Facility immediately.
                            Please respond me as earlier as possible

                            Airtel — Airtel not stopping the ECS request even after stopping the service

                            I had a postpaid airtel mobile connection([protected]). I got it disconnected in August 2007. At that time I requested to stop the ECS request also.
                            But ECS stoppage was not done. Money was going out of my bank account . I called the Airtel Customer care and raised the complaint again. The complaint number is 14666321. Till now they have not refunded the money which has moved out from my bank account(Sep, Oct,Nov,Dec).
                            This has caused a lot of mental tension for me and I have decided to close my account. If anyone can help me in getting the money back, please help me so.

                            I had raised a request with customer care pune to close my airtel post paid account as I got transfered to Bangalore on 21 Feb and got call from them with some new plan but later I again had called and asked them to cancel the number It is almost a month now and it is still not done and the status in reference number is showing to be closed Even after coming to bangalore I called up the Pune customer care for 3 times to check the status and cancel the connection which is still pending and apart from this they have deducted the amount from my account for the rental which is not supposed to be deducted as i had already made the final settlement and came



                            secondly the customer care does not respond properly as when i tried calling from bangalore with roaming charges they kept me on hold for 5 min and kept the phone The service is pathetic.



                            Also even after placing request for so many times for cancelling the ECS facility the charges gets deducted from my account even after making the payment personally in airtel office

                            I think Airtel uses this unethical method for its petty gains as a policy. I have the same complaint. They have closed the numbers but still every month deduct money through ECS facility. The customer care will not listen. The only quick way out is to block your credit card and get a new one. The other is to go to a consumer court. From next time dont go for a ECS facility, or even of you go, write "valid for only 1 year" in application.

                            This is with reference to my Airtel Postpaid numbers [protected] & [protected] . I have attached current bill for this month as well as for last 2 months, kindly refer and let me know why the bill plan is changed from 275 to 299 without my concern.

                            Please note, I am using my both Airtel numbers from last 2yrs with Corporate Plan Rs275 in which i have 1500mins free on any mobile network and roaming and 200 sms etc. Now all of sudden, without my concern, Bill Plan is changed to 299 and i am being charged with Rs1135 ([protected]) and Rs439 ([protected]) . Since i know my usage, i had created ECS payment for both the numbers and payment got debited from my credit card before due date. This is absolute fraudulent case, where i am being cheated by Airtel. I did ask for any change in my billing plan and it has been changed by Airtel without my knowledge.

                            Now, i request you to revoke this at the earliest and let me continue with 275 plan and also credit the amount back to my account whatever excess is being charged from last 2months. I may complain to consumer court if you people try to justify this at any manner. No clarification or justification is acceptable at any condition, so ensure to get the closure done soonest in positive way.

                            I have your corporate desk in my company, i can take this forward to any level which may impact your brand value.

                            So, do the needful at the earliest.

                              This is sincere request to everyone across not go for AIRTEL BROAD BAND connection , i will share my experince here, the excecutive so callled Khande Rao-[protected] (one more person Ramesh-[protected] )was calling alteast 5 times a before the cheque was given, after he took the cheque from us , he is absconding!!!!no response from him..he had told that it will get connected within 3 days, untill we called them to know what is happing he never called and gave the status...so what is the neccessity of calling them as Airtel Excecutive!!!!
                              When we finally called Customer service of airtel they informed that due to technical reasons they are able give connections!!!!
                              what is the idea behind, they are just wanted money not the customers satisfaction
                              Both the excetutive will not pick up the calls when evere we call them,afetr rining for 10time they pickup the call to tell the story...If we call Khande Rao he will insist us to call Ramesh ...this was happing every day...
                              Now AIRTEL t want to return my cheque AFETR 15DAY, will they interest for that/????
                              How can they take money from us like this?

                                  Dear Sir/Madam
                                  First of all I am feeling very shame full after using airtel digital TV. Lots of time I face problems. And this time I feel, I should definitely go to consumer forum and press release.
                                  I am Amit Swarnkar, my customer id is[protected] and my registered mobile number is [protected]. I recharged my digital TV account with 200 Rs on 30’th nov and till now I am not able to see TV. I.e. my services is not active I am getting error code 6
                                  I called a several times on customer care to solve my problem but they people gives only the assurance and says switch on your digital TV for 45 minute, from last 14 days I calls on daily basis and I am doing same, customer care executive makes me fool.
                                  I want, my services should be start as soon as possible and I want my money refund on my account which you are deducting on prodata basis from 1’st dec to till now.
                                  I am not at all satisfied with airtel services.

                                  Airtel / Digital TV — cheating and fraud by airtel

                                  I have buyed an samsung lcd tv on 18Dec 2008, and i was being told that i will get 6months free package of digital tv by paying Rs.3000 extra and their executive came to install it on 17Jan 1009(a month later) even after calling regularly and from 19Jan 2009 all channels stopped working.Now today is 23Feb 2009, its been more than two months, no one is resolving my problem and even no reply is there.But around 10days before Mr.kunal(customer care) gave me satisfaction by saying that our executive will take back the set up box and will refund back my money(Rs.3000) by 18Feb 2009 but no one came.now they are not even returning my money back where should i go, I have not been able to watch any channel properly on my new tv even for a single day.still they are not replying and cheating to people.

                                  AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — Account not activated

                                  I purchased Airtel Digital TV on 999 offer on 19/07/2010. Never got a customer id, but credit card was billed. After raising a complaint here (http://www.consumercomplaints.in/complaints/airtel-digital-tv-c416567.html), finally the installation engineer came to my house and installed the equipment on 27/07/2010. Account is still not activated; the customer id given to me ([protected] by the installation engineer) and the phone# ([protected]) I registered with while making a purchase are not coming as valid ones when I call customer care. They just hang up the calls! No package is activated either.
                                  10:00am - today, one executive gave me a complaint# 28095459 and said his sr. manager will call in 10 minutes. 1:30pm; nobody had called up. Called 12148 again, repeated all the things and the guy (Rohan) just hung up after putting me on hold for 3-4 minutes. Called again and a person named Prashant who wanted me to conference in the installation engineer. I couldn't do that. Now apparently since "senior" people are going for lunch, they will "surely" follow up on the complaint by evening today. This is terrible customer service from such a well known company.
                                  Finally, after sending an e-mail complaint to nodal officer of Karnataka, on Wednesday, I got the connection activated on Friday evening. On Saturday, got the customer id registered too. Took 12 days from when my credit card was charged.
                                  even i'm facing the same problem. I.ve enough balance in my account but still it shows error code 6, please recharge. I.ve complained to customer care many times but no one is responding properly. My customer id [protected]

                                  Airtel / Digital TV — Digital TV Not working from the day of installation

                                  On 2nd of march I have taken a new connection of airtel digital TV but I am very sorry to say that I am facing the problem from the first day of installation (SM2 error) and since 3 days went off and no action has been taken.

                                  From 3rd of march morning, I am making a call to several concerned people who are get in touch with me during installation and yesterday I have logged one complaint regarding this (Compliant Reference no[protected] but I surprised that till now the issue is not rectified.

                                  Today, I had a talk with the customer care executives 3-4 times and they have given me another Compliant reference no.Delay in resolution of the issue make more frustration.



                                  I request you to please look into this matter ASAP otherwise I will be forced to disconnect the service which I have not used yet.

                                    My Airtel Digital Tv services are disconnected even after recharging the account ([protected]) with Rs. 400/-. Since 3 weeks the services are not yet resumed and when I called customer care, The executive, Mr. Irfan talk for some time and passed the call to his floor supervisor Mr. Himanshu Dube, said my services will be renewed with in 8 hours. For further queries or complaints he assured that, I can call him directly by his name, but when I call customer care again, I am unable to contact the person. Please do the needful.

                                      I have made complain regarding above issues and I am having above problem last one year. I have changed mobile SIM also six months ago, still situation is same and I am being charged for your poor services.

                                      What more to say you in a situation that caused an additional pain to me. I am not here to explain the foul game shown by Airtel. I took Airtel Postpaid connection just in a thought of receiving a better service and response from it, but it was my wrong perception because I have suffered a lot.I dont know how Airtel miserably failed to address the issue, which was brought to your notice time to time.

                                      I had opted for a post paid 3G connection in Oct 2011 with rs 249/- as basic Charge &450/- for 1.2GB 3G data connection on monthly basis.For
                                      a few months all went accordingly not until march-2012 where I was slapped a bill of rs 1950/- when my phone remained shut for most of the peroid

                                        A complaint was lodged with Airtel DTH, with the nodal officer in loop on the 27th of November 2009. This issue still remains open till date (14th December 2009).
                                        Copying the mail I sent to Customer Care Airtel DTH, in this regard:

                                        This is with reference to the mail I sent to the Customer care, Airtel DTH. I sent this mail on 27th November and am pasting below the contents of the same for your reference.

                                        The original mail:

                                        <<Hi,

                                        I am a new Airtel DTH customer, My customer ID is: [protected]. I got my connection yesterday (26th November). The package that I had opted for was South super value, along with the package I opted for three specific top ups and one of the top ups I selected was: "English News Plus Aug-09(Upfront NRC Rs. 38.61) NRC "

                                        This order was made at 1300 hours yesterday. I am assuming that NDTV 24x7 is part of the aforementioned package (I found this detail with the top up details and I confirmed it with two of your Customer service representatives), but I am sorry to state that till now I do not find the channel functional. Even a few calls to the helpline did not sort out the issue, all the representatives burrowed time from me (saying that it will be functional in 45 minutes). I got the other two top ups working fine from 1330 hours itself though.

                                        This sort of service is least expected, if you are not in a position to get this issue resolved please let me know the escalation matrix present and I would take the matter up to the required authorities.

                                        Do let me know you are looking for any other information from me, which is causing the delay in getting the issue resolved.>>

                                        The follow up mail as escalation.

                                        <<I had a service request number associated with the problem, that was 1544403. Later on I got a mail stating that the service request has been closed, (as the issue has been resolved). Though an acknowledgment from the Customer (in this case me) was never sent about the issue being resolved. I am facing the very same problem since 26th November.

                                        The thing that worries me is the incompetence on display by both the Customer service agents as well as the technical team to IDENTIFY the problem and its cause at the first place. Time and again I have been instructed to follow same set of action (switch of STB and TV and then put it on) and time and again I have been given commitments of issue getting resolved in 45 mins or 1 hour. I even had a representative (one Mr Muneer, who claims to be a support engineer from Airtel) who visited my place to take stock of the situation. Based on his findings it is purely a Customer care problem and not a technical issue and he cannot do anything about it. The Customer care department fails to own up the problem and furthermore they take courage is closing off the issue without even bothering to know anything from the Customer.

                                        The Customer Care executives with whom I have talked all this while, have failed to get me connected to any higher authorities. For me this is not a case of losing out some money or not been able to watch channels of my liking. Rather it is the awareness about the pathetic state of Customer Service provided. I am wondering how you could solve a problem without IDENTIFYING the problem at the first place, the representatives with whom I have interacted have failed miserably to identify why the problem is happening at the first place.

                                        Since 26th it has been 6 days and nothing has changed actually in terms of the problem I am facing. All the interactions I have had has failed to give me any confidence of the issue getting resolved either. I have been an Airtel Customer since last 6 years (with post paid mobile) and also Broadband (last 1 year). Never did I face such a team of incompetent representatives. Rather than owning the issue, people are more interested in putting it over to some other team/department. Online technical guys complain about something wrong with the signal, the technical service engineers claim it to be completely Customer care issue (issue with the way the top-up was ordered) and the Customer care people have still not figured out where to pass the ball on to. Subsequently, you have one very dissatisfied and dejected Customer.

                                        All together ... Airtel demands that they are best in market .. but I would saY .. AIRTEL .. you are not very different.. you are also from the same catogery...
