3 days back i happen to take a new mobile connection from AIRTEL.Still now the same has not been activated.I called the help line . I even gota complain number 18031928 on the same but no one had really helped me in activating the same.The call center guys in [protected] didnt really help. They diconnect my call each time i call them or put me on long hold until the call gets diconnects.The call center TL Mr.Vivek gave me a commitment that it wil be activated by maximum 2.30pm 25 AUg 2008... It was not done.. Later I called again... They sai by 6 pm.. Now I tried calling thembut the CSE says" NO TL at his desk ? I asked for some one who can handle the same in his absence... They say " THEY DONT KNOW ? I wonder I need to surrender the line before the same is activated... I hope AIRTEL... Will never change in certain aspects.Coz of this I am surrendring both my AIRTEL LANLINES...

    Yesterday morning I had visited your Airtel Franchise "Plus Cellular",
    There i had paid the said amount of Rs 150/- as per trailing mail as well
    submitted Post to Pre Migration Form, Passport Size Photo, ?Id Proof -
    Driving Lic, Address Proof - BSNL Bill, which is also scanned and attached
    below in the mail.

    There I had met Mr. Shaikh Munner- Customer Care Head, Mr.Javed- Customer
    Care Exe, & Lady Store Incharge. Also Spoken to do the migration of my
    number as already i had paid my all outstanding amount, bill + unbill + Rs
    150/- mig charges. Hence also documentation also submitted there.They had
    provided me a Prepaid Blank Sim[protected], But again they had
    repeated the same thing my number will not be migrated in prepaid and if
    wants then have to pay Number Charges.

    Now this is the last time i am again sending all the details which has been
    communicated to me earlier, take this issue very seriously as if now my
    migration will not be done in within 24 hours, then i had no way but to go
    for a legal step as well as I will escalate this issue to all media News
    channel with a mail copy of complete discussion which i have been
    communicating to your representative as well ur local offices as well as
    local executives, against company for mis guiding customer, and asking for
    bribe for Post to Pre forcefully, as well as for Menal & Financial
    harresment which has been suffered due to illegal demand, / Policy of a such
    a big brand like AIRTEL.

    As Mr Shaikh Munner said me "That 121 is mis guiding me and it is not
    possible to migrate ur number in prepaid, if wants to migrate you have to
    pay Rs 5000/- otherwise continue in postpaid.
    Due to my personel reason i want my number has to be converted into prepaid
    Lifetime.So Now its upto you to finally resolve my issue and provide me a
    resolution.
    Till Now I had not get any support from your office for the resolution/
    customer service, As customer I am only has to call or mail or visit ur
    airtel franchise for resolution.Also yerterday when i had visited ur
    franchise to complete my formalities again i had faced a rudely behaiviour
    from ur staff members Mr Javed said me that why i had marked a mail now you
    can do a mail to delhi, mumbai, pune anywere in India and Hence now ur
    number will not be migarted "Tumne mail kiyun kiya, ab tum bas mail karte
    raho kahi bhi - Mumbai, Delhi, Pune, lekin kuch bhi karlo tumhara number
    nahi prepaid honga"
    Kindly note for the same and revert me within 24 Hrs

    amount..., Also ready to pay Migration charges if any...But I am
    really very very shocked when Mr. Javeed said me to pay additional Rs
    1500/- for NUMBER CHARGES as he told me that its a GOLD NUMBER ...When I
    asked him why I had to pay such kind of charges, Pl look into policies as
    already I am using the same number since last? 2 years, He was very rudely
    talking to me, and said "Agar tumko Prepaid karna hai toh yeh Rs 1500/-
    number charges bharna hi padega, nahin toh prepaid migrate nahin honga"
    "Jo HO Sakta tumse Karlo, Mera Yahan Koi kuch bhi nahi bigaad sakta"
    As Airtel is such a big brand, if providing such a cheap kind of service to
    a gold segment customer...My self?and my all friends as well as all
    relatives on an avg currently using 7-8 Airtel Connections indivisually,
    will go for cancelation of connection.

    I want strict action to be taken against such kind of Customer Care
    Executive - Mr. Javeed?who does'nt knew to how to speak politely to a gold
    segment customer.I am waiting for your revert immediately, Otherwise I will
    move to consumer court for my rights.

    I am a lawyer, very well know to fight for my rights...Its a clear
    case of asking bribe against customer service, As again I am ready to pay
    my Bill + Un bill + LTV Recharge amount + Post to Pre mig charges...If any
    (But I WILL NOT PAY ANY NUMBER CHARGES)
    Otherwise I will terminate my all friends and family Airtel Connection and
    file a case in court for further process.
    Pl take a note and take a concern issue positively for customer service.

    airtel cellular ltd — Complaint on transferring the number from prepaid to postpaid service

    This is to bring to your notice that I, Vijay S Pawar had on 28/09/2009 made a request at your Airtel Gallery ( MG Cellular, 2 & 3 Anita Chambers, Ambadi Rd., Vasai West) for transferring my services from prepaid mode to postpaid. I had also made a deposit of Rs. 300/- towards it having receipt no. as 2687. I was assured that within some time the service would be active, but till date it is not active. I have visited the galley a couple of times but have only received false assurities that it would be resolved soon.

    Its been more than a month now, since I am following on this. Though you are now a 115 million customer base but the efficiency in terms of services lacks.

    Kindly look in to the same.
    I also got a miss call from this no. [protected]. When i reverted back to know who it is, a person named Mr. Rajveer picked up and said that he is calling from Airtel Head Office Mumbai. He gave me another no. [protected] and told to contact Mr. Raj Verma. When i dialed that no. the person informed me that I had won Rs. 10 lac lottery from AIRTEL Head Office, then he told me to purchase eleven Rs.1000 Coupons of Disc TV because Airtel and disc TV jointly wants to award me i.e equally. In this talk I lost my precious time and my mobile balance also. I request you to please investigate this matter, so that in future these type of fake calls will not be made to any consumer. Looking forward for your reply soon.

    I'm Rahul Nasare, using airtel prepaid from last 4 years, my plan is 'Friends' . i called customer care executive for reduced call rate plan for Friends plan customer on dec.2, 2010, they suggest me to recharge with RC 29, and they told ,it would not affect ur Freinds plan. but actually after recharging my plan has been changed.i m not getting benefit of my friends plan.
    so i called customer executive for complaint launch, they promised me that, ur problem will solve in 48 hours. but uptil now my problem has not been solved. so i request u to plz solve this problem, as they misguided me for plan change.

    Airtel is the worst telecom service provider, the customer care helpline number disconnects your call in between & then block your number of attempts for support. No helpline, no support for customer support. This is crap.

      1.received sms stating as per trai guidelines, my verification is unsuccessful etc...
      2.iam holding this connection(no [protected])since may 2008.since then mid june receivec first sms stating problem of varification and visited airtel office near florafounden with all required documents asked.ie prof for permenent address(passport)and tempeory stay at hotel sahayog, fort, mumbai etc..
      3.please note @18th aug a call received from address prof section[protected] asking about my present location, the same explained. today 23/8/08 @1619 another sms received stating problems on my verificatons and i am in need to contact nearest arc.
      4.kindly note that presently i am staying at my home town in kerala, quilon district. also note my intention to use this connection in national/international roming. I am working as a captain of merchant ship, also i like this number([protected]).
      5.plese note that as soon as i received sms today 23/8, i had contated on[protected] and explained, a reply received stating no problem. kindly do the needful.

        my mobile stolen on[protected] at 8.30 pm .as i want my sim to be block but there is no customer care service available...

          i am a NRI - needs permanant mobile no in india whenever we visit to bombay, so purchased lifetime airtel no by looking at the reputation and the services [[protected]] from navrang electronics at naigaum-dadar[east]. This time my wife visited bombay for vacation she found that, this number has already allotted to somebody, Then she visited respective airtel office, that gentleman ? [manager] said that we send our official to your residence address to check whether you are alive or not, in a very rude way, we found that your door was locked so we allotted this number to somebody else. She is having the respective specific sim card for the same number . Kindly suggest what do we do? should we spend our vacation time running after these people .As this number is known to all our close people we just can not afford to change our mobile number during every vacation time.             sir,

            i have recently bought a new AIRTEL SIM card from an authorized dealer of airtel. the SIM is not responding now. it has corrupted. also when i mailed to airtel regarding this, they said they will communicate me within 24 hrs. and still after the completion of 24 hrs they have not yet communicated me what to do.

            what kind of service they are proud of offering to their customer? is this a way to deal with the customer?

              Sir,
              I am totally unsatisfied with the service provided by Airtel to the customers. The network problem in my area (Pimple Saudagar, Pune-411 027) is not getting resolved . Here there are 2 Towers (Pimple Saudagar and Kunal Icon) which are not powerful enough to offer a consistent network coverage over the area. The back up power source for supporting the transievers, reflectors and boosters has become weak. Moreover the intensity of the signal is pathetic. I am using Nokia 5310 Music express mobile and it has nothing to do with the intensity of signal that is being transmitted.
              The network problem is making people like me to file numerous complaints in the Customer care centres .But the management who owns Airtel is not taking things seriously(i dont know why ) .They are not at all interested in providing a foolproof solution to the network coverage issue.The advertisements are misleading .
              The problem might be solved by maintaining the towers in good condition and adding one or two additional boosters facing each direction. During power failure, the people who maintain the back up should check the signal strength of the transceivers.

              I request you to take an action which will make the management think and device a permanent solution to this issue. This issue is affecting not only me but eeach and every airtel customer in the country.

              AirTel — Mobile Network coverage issue

              I live in Byrasandra Bangalore, since past one year I have been complaining Airtel customer care regarding the VERY POOR or NO NW at the said location. I promptly get the ticket no. for the complain but no positive action has been take to resolve the customer complaints. After couple of days, Airtel representative call me to inform that the technical team has checked & resolved the isssue.Surprisingly there is NO IMPROVEMENT at all.

              There are more then 500 flats in that area & all Airtel mobile subscribers are facing this issue. If Airtel does not takeup the matter seriously, then we'll be forced to terminate Airtel service & go with TataIndicom as alternate (Signals are good).

              i am using vodafone prepaid service since last 3 years but i am very sorry to inform that the signal strength in pimple saudagar, pune is so weak that it's causing call drops, fluctuation in signal as well as disturbance during the active call, regarding those issues i have made several complaints in vodafone but the situation is same and every time i receive a call from vodafone technical department and they inform that very soon vodafone is going to install a new tower in pimple saudagar, pune as this is not only my individual problem same problems is faced by many other customer of pimple saudagar too and without my information they closes my complaint in the complaint tracking system.
              when ever i call back to customer care to inquire about my complaint they inform that my previous logged complaint is closed.

              so i want to make a complaint against vodafaone that either they should install the tower first and only after that the can close my complaint or they have no right to close my complaint till the problem is resolved.

              i request you to take strict action against vodafone to stop the game of cheating with the customers and resolve the network issue by installing a new tower in pimple saudagar, pune as soon as possible.

              I was using prepaid service of Airtel since one year. But last month(9 or 10th March 2009) a marketing executive came to my resident with an offer. The offer was a plan of Rs 300 per months as a rent. In that plan he promise me 300 min. talk time free at the rate of 50 paise per min. & 300 sms free at the rate of 20 paise. He also said that international sms will be adjusted in those 300 free sms at the rate of Rs 5 per sms. He also said that the range will be very good. Better than what I use to have early. But the offer was with some conditions. The conditions were that the offer is available for new no. & not for old no. Also I will have to deposit Rs 500. He said these Rs 500 will be return in 180 days. Also he promise me a VIP no. So I was attracted to this new plan & I bought the new plan with a no. [protected]. But when I received my first bill none of my promise were fulfilled. Also my no. was not VIPno. They charge Rs 500 as a new sim card fee. Also they charge me extra for my international sms with the rate of Rs 5 per sms & local sms were charge at the rate of 50ps. per sms. Also the range is very bad. I don't know were to file complaint against such false & illegal activity. I am trying to contact the Airtel executive but no one is giving me proper reply or no one is telling me were to lodge a complaint. Also from today that mean 25th April 2009 Airtel has stop my outgoing services. So please any one can tell me where to lodge a official complaint against Airtel please inform me.               It has been more than 3 months since I have reported Indoor network coverage issue in Pocket-II Mayur Vihar Phase-3. All Airtel customers are facing this issue from a very long time but this problem yet not resolved even after reporting complain again and again with Airtel. Every time you report the issue the only answer you will get that we are working on it and it will be resolved very soon. People are not able to attend calls inside their house everyone have to come out of their houses just to attend a single call or to make a call. Unfortunately I have 2 Airtel connection and now taken one ore Vodafone connection because Vodafone is having very good coverage there.

              Airtel engineer has visited in that area and confirmed that yes there is a coverage issue. Airtel is not in mood to resolve this issue even when there engineer also confirmed the same problem.

              The purpose to post this comment is that if anyone is planning to purchase any Airtel connection pls check such things first before going for new connection.

              AirTel — Network coverage issue

              I am having Airtel Post paid connection with Combat-II Plan-MH and number [protected].
              I am facing severe network coverage problem at my residence.
              Already the complaint regarding this was launched 2 time to the customer care cell of Airtel.

              The complaint was resolved earlier but as a short term solution.

              Now for last 3 days from 6 Feb 2010, the network coverage problem cropped up again.
              This is really lack of service from Airtel.

              So, It depends where in Pimple Saudagar you stay...FACT is service from all the service providers is PATHETIC in this AREA.You really need to check which one suits you(your apartment/house)...

              Initially I though I'll change my service provider.But after 3months now...I have decided to move out of this place.

              I wish and pray that airtel loose all its customers(i believe in thousands) from this area alone.

              My name is Sunil Vaswani & mobile no. is [protected]. I am located in Baroda, Gujarat. I have been an Airtel customer since 2005. Since February 2011 I am having a terrible network problem at my residence which is also the billing address in your records. Signal towers in mobile drop to zero constantly while talking & even while the phone is kept aside. There is simply zero signal. I have to restart my mobile to get signal which again goes to zero within two minutes maximum. Anybody who calls me gets an "out of coverage" or "switched off" message. I have another Airtel number at the same address which is being used in a different mobile instrument than the above number but it it also facing the same problem.

              Not only in Pune, but across the Maharashtra region Airtel users are facing network problem and now it is so severe that suddenly complete network disappears and nobody is able to call.
              I have registered 3 complains but they were closed without resolution. I got a call from their customer care representative and he said that if your problem is not solved then you are free to go to other service provider.
              Now I have applied for MNP and will go for Vodafone.

                I have never subscribed for masti messages on airtell mobile no [protected]. They started sending masti messages and deducting 10 Rs/Week. I realy fed up with this service and called them then 10th pass or 12 pass call center people pick up the phone and give some answer and says we have registed your request and it will be deactivated. I get SMS regarding same but again service get resumed. I am not able to find any personal email or phone no of airtel to escalate issue. It happened with so many people in Nanded district as they do not know how to contact higher level people so they stay closing their mouth. Give me solution over this.

                  On 24th July 2008, i purchased a new connection from a local retailer in Begusarai (Bihar). At the time of purchase i submitted the following documents...
                  1) Copy of a Passport.
                  2) Copy of Voter ID Card.
                  3) Two Passport Photo's.

                  The connection got active within 2 days from the date of purchase. I got it recharge with life time validity card, in addition i recharged it with Rs. 333/-.
                  Approx. with in a week my number was deactivated. On calling customer care, they asked to submit the documents. I submitted the documents twice in support for my verification. Till date my number hasn't been activated. On enquiring again they say that they won't activate my number because i have used abusing language while complaining at customer service, according to me and as far as my memory goes i haven’t talked to them in such language. They say until i apologize to them they won't activate my number.

                    I have an airtel prepaid card. I have recharged A2A STD pack of Rs333 by paying Rs 222 on 12th Aug. It should be valid till 12th Sep (30 day validity). On 19th Aug, the amount has reduced to 0. While calling customer care number 121, it asks me to call 198 for complain which is non-existant. I am able to contact customer care after a couple of trials (they disconnect the phone after automed voice messaging system for couple of times). Customer care executives asked me to call later, as the application is not running. He did not agree to keep a complain and look at the same. And disconnected the connection.
                    So many time I have facing problem with airtel, That problem is some time I was dailinng any STD NO I am geting voice from my mobile NETWORK BUSY after end the call my ballance is deduction from account.For this problem so many time Ihave speak to custmer people but they are not taking respons.

                      This is really very unfair . I have told the customer care many times that please send me the ebill, but they are not listening. In addition to this they are not saying every details when you will take a new connection.
                      I have been cheated by one of their employee named Hitesh.I realy got dis satisfied by this connection.

It changes automatically without giving any request.. It is happened 2nd time to me.. everytime i call to airtel customer care, they say I have requested to change hello tune through SMS, They say based upon their record and indeed i havent have done anything from my mobile to change hello tune.. I dont understand where shoud i go to complaint for..IS THERE ANY ONE WHO CAN HELP ME or SHOULD I SIMPLY DISCONNECT THIS AIRTEL ?? I have decided to file FIR against airtel as it happens twice and dont know in future how many times such things will occur. I have lost money for changing it again and again..It is my humble request to you that please make your customer care system proper and tell them to behave in manner also if you dont have good software system to track users hello tune and its request then BUY a good one..your executive says I have requested to change and I am saying i havent requested to change, now where would i go to prove that i have not explicitly change my hello tune..

                          Dear Sir,

                          I was holding a postpaid connection with Airtel(Mobile No [protected]).This was a corporate connection that I possessed being an employee of IBM India Pvt. Ltd.
                          I requested for the closure of this account through call and by visiting the branch in the month of December.I was confirmed verbally that after the last bill generated in the month of January, my account shall be closed.
                          So, I made the last payment of Rs.269 towards my January month bill. After this there was no single usage of my account. Still the Airtel company kept charging me monthly rentals till the month of May 2008. Neither was I sent any hard copy nor a soft copy of the bill.
                          The worst part was, though the account is an IBM corporate account, the customer service had not updated my IBM email id (ihitashri.[protected]@in.ibm.com) in their database and did not bother to communicate me through email regarding all these rentals.
                          Today I was summoned in the court (File no PR5296, Patiala House Court)to pay an approx. amount of Rs.12500 against the missing payment of Rs. 1053, charged against all monthly rental charges till May 2008.
                          P.S. This bill was not against any usage of Airtel services.
                          The harrassment forced me to pay the amount but I am very frustrated at the carelessness on the part of the company and its customer service for keeping the account open for months even after no single usage. I understand from my conversation with the Airtel customer service department (Conversation with Naveen at around 4 PM, 20th August, 2008), as per the rule, in case of no usage for 45 days, a mobile account is supposed to be closed.
                          After I made the above payment, the lawyer office informed me that if these charges were only against the rental charges, they were not suppose to be paid.

                          Being an honest customer, I only know that the entire incident has completely harrassed me and taken away my peace of mind.
                          If educated people like us are treated this way, what about people who do not know what to do in such situation and cannot afford to pay such undue bills ?

                          Airtel Postpaid Connection — working system regarding BILL

                          Dear Sir,

                          From the Airtel, I received 2 SMS regarding bill-information-- one on[protected], and another on[protected].
                          Both these SMS inform that the amount of current bill due 06-Dec-2008 (against my postpaid Airtel connection no.[protected] is Rs. 742. 71.
                          Whereas, in the one more SMS I received today on[protected], this amount is told Rs. 939.65 quoting the same due-date that is 06-Dec-2008.

                          I am a senior media-person having the celebrity-status. So, because of my busy-ness, I have been out of my residence (the billing address which is in your record) for weeks-- that' why I could not receive the printed bill-statement that you must have sent by courier as usual.

                          Now, my difficulty is that how much amount I how to pay against the due.
                          Stating this my difficulty, I have also sent SMS to 121, but no response came from that end-- even the information of receiving the SMS did not came back.
                          I think, it is the first time since I am using this Airtel connection when even the complaint did not become noticed.

                          Please let me know in time that--

                          1) In my case, what is the actual figure of amount due against my connection?

                          2) How such the things are occurring at you even in this computerized world?

                          3) How far just saying "sorry" is enough for such the non-sense thing done at your working level?

                          4) Why should your action-system against such the complaints be public? --Especially when the Airtel claims as well as known for its transparent workings.

                          Waiting for your response, both by e-mail and SMS, well before the due-date. In its absence, if I get myself to make the payment within due-time; I think, you should take the responsibility : After all, how can one pay without knowing how much to pay.

                          Airtel Postpaid Connection — Regarding the bill

                          My mobil no.is [protected] I took the conection in the name of J.Louis in Tamilnadu, Chennai since from the day 1 they dont provide the bill either in the mail or by post in spite of calling the customer care very frequently they give lot of falls promises saying we will give the bill today, but nothing happened .I use to get the bill only after my due date by the time they will disconnect my line .When i saw the bill i found out that they have charged me late payment fees not only that my mobil does not suport GPRS and they are charging for it also.Whent I complain about it the give replay we will revert back and I ask for some senior person they say they are not on there seat and when I ask for head office numer they say they dont have land line in ther office, so i am facing this problem for 9 months and know I did not recive the bill for the month of november and they have disconnecter out going call .Please help me to solve this problem and to reach ther higher offical.

                          Airtel Postpaid Connection — Harrassment by Airtel

                          I have 2 Chennai post-paid numbers as well as a broadband connection from Airtel in Bangalore.

                          When I quit my last job one of the post-paid numbers the bill was to be taken care by my company and they didn't. My second number and broadband connection are active. Airtel has been using underhand means to collect the payment for the unused number. Their collection agents have illegally called my contacts from my phone records and are threatening and abusing them about my bill non-payment.

                          Airtel contacted my husband's business contacts and we have lost a business deal of a large monetary value due to their harrassment.

                          I wish to take legal action against Airtel. Please let me know the procedure and how to go about this.

                            MY Mobile number is[protected].On August 18, 2008 I called[protected] and requested change in my halo tune.This was confirmed by SMS msg from number 6782 @19.05 hrs and again I received a SMS from number 678060 stating it is UPDATED both the msg recd on Aug 18.
                            As this was not the case I contacted AIR TEL on no.[protected] on 19 August @ 12.03 HRS AND my complaint no. being 74466798.I was told to switch off the set and try again but no result.
                            I once again contacted and informed the position @ 12.20 complaint no.[protected].
                            I wastold to call back in TEN MINUTES BUT NO RESULT. Complaint no. 17960524 person contacted MR. VISHAL
                            At 12.40 hrs I contacted Mr.Patel [ Asst.Mgr] he said he would look into and call me back. NO CALL RECEIVED TILL NOW.!!! Complaint no.[protected]
                            At 17.15 hrs I contacted Mr. SHSHANK and promised to look into the matter. Complaint No.[protected]
                            On August 20 contacted Ms. BASERA @ 11.30 HRS requesting to talk to Mr.Patel but not available.She informed will connect you to Mr.IRFAN BANDOOKWALA. After holding for ABOUT 20 MINUTES he advised very much active and stated something may be wrong with my land line of MTNL !!! I TRIED FROM VODOFONE LINE AND ALSO FROM AIRTEL PROBLEM STILL EXISTS.
                            IMMEDIATELY TRIED TO REACH MR BANDOOKWALA TO APPRAISE HIM OF THE SITUATION. MS MUMTAZ informed not available BUT ASSURED MR.BANDDOKWALA WILL CALL BACK IN HALF AN HOUR. Complaint no.74547716

                              I had unfortunately taken a mobile connection with Airtel (which i deeply regret now) when i came down to kerala.i had requested the activation of ECS mode for bill payment while taking the connection itself in October '07.however it never got activated.i kept on calling up customer care and complained about the same several times.In april '08 i received a message from Airtel saying ECS has been activated on my account and that payment would be directly debited to my bank account.in May '08 while was on roaming in bangalore i kept receiving calls from airtel saying payment is pending.i called up customer care to find out what exactly is the problem. they confirmed that ECS is not activated on my account.i was very frustrated as i was getting all confused statements.i got message from airtel confirming the activation of ECS but from cust care they kept on saying ECS is not activated.When i check my bank account on 26th May '08 1, 836.67 has been debited to my account for Airtel bill. even then teh Airtel customer care executives refused to accept that ECS payment has happened.Finally i gave up on calling customer care or bothering about my bill.For June and July i did not leave any balance in my account as i was given confirmation that ECS is not active. that resulted in ECS bill return fine on my account of Rs 225.I was given wrong information from customer care that ECS is not activated and then ECS clearance happens from my account.this was an unnecessary inconvenience caused to me and unnecessary expense of ECS debit return charges.Having realised this i went to Airtel shop at "Kooloth Communications", 1st Floor, ACE Complex, N.H.-47, Cochin, Kerala and gave a written request for cancelation of ECS to executive named SHAMEER. He said the request would be processed in 48 hours time. He was, let me tell you, very ignorant about customer service and how to behave to a customer.i had to repeat my query 4 times for him to get my details on the system.he kept on forgetting what i asked for.i also received a message from airtel saying your request would be processed in 48 hours however even now when i call up and check the ECS cancelation request status they say it is not canceled and request has been forwarded for cancelation of the same.Whn i logon to My Airtel, i can see my request status is still open. my question is what are people in backend doing?why r they payin them if they dont work at all?Airtel is least bothered anout the customer's satisfaction with their service.mine is a corporate connection and almost 20-25 people from the same company had taken connections together.few o[censored]s have already experienced pathetic service from airtel.if this continues then in no time all these 20-25 connections will be cancelled.because idea and vodafone seems to be providing much better service nowadays and their customer service is also increasing day by day.
                              as for now i want my ECS mode to be canceled immediately and i want a confirmation of the same.i would expect somebody who speaks and understands english to call me and inform me the same.
                              it is very easy to incorporate apology statements and acknowledgement statements in the verbiages given to executives however please understand if that doesnt come with a feel then u r actually mocking at the customer.also no points in apologies if you cant serve customers. To be honest Airtel customer service is a vey pathetic and disgusting service.and a bull experience.once i get rid of this connection i would never think of taking airtel again in my lifetime nor will i suggest any of my acquaintances for the same.that is what i have gone through with airtel...
                              thanks to Airtel for all the pathetic service they have given.today u've lost the trust of 1 customer for a lifetime and in no time u'd see an increase in the mistrust among customers.all the best to ur survival.i just hope u learn to incorporate some learnings from ur services' shortcomings

                                I lost mobile handset on 15.08.2008 in the evening. 15th, 16th, 17th being holidays, I went their relation center at Lokhandwala, Mumbai on 18.08.2008 and asked for duplicate SIM card for which I had to visit again.I was informed number would be activated within 4 hours.However even after contacting their No.[protected] several times I am being told to visit their Relation center (at Lokhandawala) to get the number unblocked.I was even informed at [protected] that even if complain to higher ups it is okay with them.It is surprising that for a job not properly done by their Relation center, Airtel is not ready to take responsibility by telling them to unblock the number for which they want me to visit the center which is a few miles away by spending my time and money.I also found that staff at [protected] are not aware of proper procedure and different solutions were offered without any use.                                 AirTel — Wrong Interpret in a new prepaid connection.

                                Dear Sir,
                                This is ajay from ranchi (jharkhand). today i tok a new airtel Life time prepaid connection
                                @Rs.99/- + Rs.1/-=100/- . The authorised dealer of airtel assure me that there is a new offer from airtel that while activating i will get talk time of Rs.5/- & the validity will be upto 2024. but when i activated my SIm bthe the things were found wrong. May I know why it so happen ?
                                secondly, the dealer also tole me that i this pack there is a offer for two months that any local call to any network will be of Rs.0.50/- . I donot know whether it is true or false..
                                please reply me as soon as possible by return mail, so that i may cnfirm about that.

                                SIM No. is[protected].
                                I have a airtel prepaid connection mobile No.[protected] wef 02 Sep 09. Though correct address proof has been produced, due to wrong interpretation in the copy of Ration card (having change of address) by the Airtel at Madurai (Tamilnadu) (India) my mobile has been dis-connected from 25 Oct 09 even after submitting the address proof on 24 Oct 09 to Bharti Airtel Limited Madurai. On enquiry for the re-activation of the connection, the agents are diverting me to contact here and there, but till time NO action is taken by any body in giving the connection.

                                Kindly look into the matter and re-activate my mobile No. at the earliest.

                                  I am Indu, who is willing to process the proper channel of disconnection of the airtel services to avoid further generations o[censored]ndue bills, for the service which is already quited.i.e., incoming/outgoing service are already closed with effect from 9th August, 08, as per my earlier request. There must be some convenient process for disconnection of the same.

                                    I've always topped up my prepaid phone with airtel via ICICI on the internet. FOr last few weeks, it's no longer available yet the AIRTEL website continues to promote this as an option. Since this past Saturday (4 days now), I've tried to top up at 5 different retail outlets in Varanasi. ALL of them have been unable to do it, stating that Airtel has not balanced their accounts and they are not able to recharge prepaid phones. Seems like AIRTEL is having big problems. This is not good business. When you call their 121 customer service number, you only get prerecorded messages which have nothing to do with the problem and they give no other recourse for resolving problems by phone or on their website. It's one of the least customer service friendly companies I've ever dealt with in India. Very frustrating!!

                                      I work in Tata Motors Pimpri Plant. This place is between Chinchwad and Bhosari.
                                      I have Airtel connection and the network coverage is extremely bad.
                                      All Airtel users in TataMotors face the same problem. We can hear the caller, but the caller cannot hear us.
                                      Please install a new tower in the nearby location or increase the transmission power of the tower which serves this area.
                                      Failure on your part to redress this problem will render these connections useless & we will have to find another service provider.

                                        I have purchased one new airtel mobile connection and have paid 1500 extra amount for selective number. But from the day one i am complaining of low signals at various locations. No proper response has been given to me even the persons who have sold me the connection are irresponsible. They have no proper reply. Now i wish to surrender this connection. Airtel is requested kindly to refund me my money and advance rental which I have paid. My other number is [protected].
