[Resolved]  Airtel — Unsolicited BULK SMS

BA-56007 — Unsolicited BULK SMS

Iam receiving un solicited SMS from BA-56007 for purchase of plots and iam fed up. Can the mobile operators wake up and provide customers for blocking these Bulk SMS. SMS DND i don't think it works.

SMS are flashed at mid night also. Who wants to buy a house in Noida / gurgaon ? I think Airtel should should give customers to block these Bulk SMS

I do strongly agree to it. Even I have registered for DND for my both Airtel no.s long ago but still I get such nonsense SMSs in bulk. I have writen a couple of mails to Airtel complaining such incidents but haven't got even a single reply from AIRTEL - Pls wake up Airtel...and do something to stop it for ever!

I m in same page, where u all are . . i've also activated DND, called airtel but no luck, still receiving 15 to 20 messages on daily basis. . . now i m going to switch my service provider as Vadafone. - Santosh Deo

DND is useless like any other laws in India. Nobody is bothered about DND. Those who are sending messages are least bothered about DND. I had registered my Airtel number in DND in 2007 and lodged complaint with Airtel numerous times about these messages but NO action is being taken as yet. Now I am planning to move to consumer court and see what happens. I will make BA-56007 to pay all my phone expenses. I will come back soon.

My. mobile no.[protected] and I m getting un solicited SMS's from BA 560007 for realstate & property, I am fedup of these SMS's, Please help me out.

I get at least 2 messages a day from BA 56007. Why doesn't the supreme court intervene and direct the telecom operators regarding enforcement o[censored]nsolicited SMS' when the phone number is registered as DND?

That would be welcome judicial activism.
