Sir, This is to bring to your kind notice that i have lost my mobile phone a couple of days back. Since then i approached Airtel Office at Begumpet for the issuance of Duplicate SIM. They have issued a SIM but not activated for more than 48 hours now.

I have lot of calls to take since that is my first contact. I am working as State President for YSR Sena, if this is the case with the VIP's in the city we can imagine how the approach would be for the general public.We have submitted the required documents for more than 3 times but even then there is no response. Customer care service is also not upto the mark. No appropriate response when customers approach with the requests. FYI we have consulted Begumpet i.e., Airtel Head Office, Life Style Building and Ameerpet Relationship centre too, but no luck

I request you to pls take care of the above request at your earliest convenience and do the needful

Im not able to recharge my mobile no. I calling "million times" still no RESPONSE from ur CUSTOMER CARE!! I not able to get English Agent operator. I got duplicate sim yesterday at 6pm from the "Airtel" shop. And still i'm not able to use. Im so pissed will plan to port it. if you guys dnt respond

    WE KNOW airtel(now airtel) is atele-communication service probhider connecting people at large number the under the above brand name. For this reason I get connected with airtel a year ago that my subscriber/customer allotted number [protected] for USB internet connection and the gave ma a device called Micromax. They charged for the device near about Rs. 2400/= and a data plan postpaid connection Rs.850/per month. My 1st month bill amount was Rs.2382.75 (Bill period 02 feb2010 to 01march2010). Think for only GPRS connection my bill and device Total amount was 2400+2383= Rs. 4783.00 [Description of Bill charge are as follows:

    I immediate call to the service center for what reason for my bill amount raised but not clarified I runt to the service centers but they cant clarified my quiries. I immediate appeat to disconnect my line. I pay only the excat amount that I used. Thjey harrased me by phone and sent personal men for collect the bill. In the mean time my husband was absent. They mentall torchared me for paid the total bill amount and I several time said come ,clarify me and negociated my bill amount, but they harassed several time. When my husband come, he called the Bill collector in my home and by negociated, they collect Rs. 1500/ = . I think this is all at an end.

    But... But..     I requested to the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India please take necessary Jenuine Legal steps among this fraud companies and all the Authorities. They cheated human emotion and moralities.This valueless, shameless, fraud companies nothing but cheated through their services.

    I am quite surprise to learnt that while sending legal notice and sending debt collector at my doorstep you have my contact details, however to resolve this issue you are saying that you do not have my contact details. I had already provided my registered phone number above and if you really wanted to resolve my issue you would have already reached me by now. And please stop assuming things, I am highly disappointed with your service.

      My Airtel number [protected], on 7th February, 2011 I had applied for the first time to switch my network service provider from Airtel to Reliance GSM at Reliance Web World, JVPD Scheme, Vile Parle (W), Mumbai. And on 12th February, 2011 I received a message from Reliance informing me about the rejection of my application by Airtel giving the excuse of violation of contract.

      Therefore, on 14th February, 2011 I visited Airtel gallery at Lokhandwala, Andheri (W) to know the reason for rejection and about the violation of contract. There I was informed that as I am having the special benefit of 10 paise / sms that is why my application has been rejected. Instantly, I asked the Airtel executive to deactive my 10 paise / sms scheme so that I am able to switch my network to Reliance GSM without any trouble for which I was told that the service has been deactivated and this will be in effect without 4 hours. There, I was told to just go to Reliance gallery and just inform them that the reason for rejection application has been resolved and they and proceed with the switching of my network to Reliance GSM, which I did instantly by visiting the Reliance Web World, JVPD Scheme and I was told as the whole process is online the network will get switched.

      But, unfortunately I did not get the benefit of switching the network this time. Whenever, I used to go to Reliance gallery and ask them when would my network will get switched to Reliance they just used to tell me within 2 days it will be done. But this never happened and after some days at the same Reliance gallery I was told by Mr. Vishal (who is in Sales at Reliance Web World) that if my application has been rejected for some reason and I got the matter resolved at Airtel side then they (Reliance company) have to send an e-mail to 'Mobile Portability Service Centre', who is actually responsible for switching of the network from one to the other, which they did not do. Now, I was asked to speak to Reliance Helpline where I was told that my Unique Porting ID has expired now and I must have to re-apply for the same if I want to switch the network.

      On the same day, i.e. 28th February, 2011 I re-applied for the switching of my mobile network from Airtel to Reliance GSM at Reliance Web World, JVPD Scheme by paying Rs. 25 for the SIM card (which I had got for free when I had applied for the first time) and though the government has prescribed Rs. 19 to be charged by the consumer.

      On 1st March, 2011 again I received message from Reliance informing me that my application (this time, too) has been rejected by my current network operator (Airtel). On 2nd March, 2011, I, again visited Airtel gallery to know the reason for rejection this time where I actually have to argue with them to get my network switched and in the end I was told that at their side it was still showing my sms service at 10 paise / sms pending. And I was told, now I will face no problem in switching my network to another mobile operator. Although, everyone at Airtel gallery was good enough with me in behaviour.

      Again, I visited Reliance Web World at JVPD Scheme, Vile Parle (W) and asked them to process my request of switching the network from Airtel to Reliance GSM and send an e-mail to 'Mobile Portability Service Centre'. But, this time I was not getting proper response initially by the sales team of Reliance Web World which was in charge of Mr. Vishal and Mr. Wasim.

      I asked Mr. Vishal to e-mail at the 'Mobile Portability Service Centre' regarding my switching of network to Reliance GSM from Airtel to take it further and to complete the formalities but Mr. Vishal was not ready to listen to me and he was saying that the problem is at my current network operator, although I had informed him that this time I have got it resolved at Airtel.

      Mr. Vishal was just asking me to speak to the helpline for the further procedure for which I asked him that now he should help me out regarding the next steps and he took me to a lady who is in customer support over there and I informed her about the issue and only this lady was good enough in behaviour at Reliance Web World.

      On the orders of this lady who is in customer support at Reliance Web World and probably senior to Mr. Vishal e-mailed to 'Mobile Portability Service Centre', on 2nd March, 2011, regarding my issue of mobile number switching to Reliance GSM from Airtel network but that too, taking his own time unnecessarily.

      After all this struggle to get my number switched to Reliance GSM from Airtel still on 8th March, 2011, my number has not been switched to Reliance GSM network.

      I hope consumers complaints at www.consumerscomplaints.in will help me to get the benefit of mobile number portability.

      I strongly agree with this complaint as mobile companies are misguiding the customer or they dont know the actual process of MNP. I am too facing this problem and i had given a complaint in consumer forum today itself.

      As I am the user of airtel network from last year & I was fully satisfied with this network until now. But I have one issue I have to send national sms daily to my dear ones & it is costing me Rs.88 per month which is huge as compared to other network, thats why I am forced to change my network.

      As my satisfaction from the network doesn't allow me to switch over but it is being very costly to me to spend Rs. 88 every month & I don't have any wish to do MNP.

      Please if any solution that can be found out to this so that I don't have to change my network. I can spend 30-35 Rs. every month to get 2000 approx sms every month.

      This will be valuable effort from your side if you give me any plan within this range.

      Airtel, Reliance — Mobile Number Portability from Airtel to Reliance

      I want to shift my network operator from Airtel to Relaince due to lack of 3G network of Airtel in Punjab Circle. So, I sent the request message for MNP and got the porting ID AP378647 which is having expiry on 29/12/2011. I have submitted the request for Mobile Number Portability to Relaince Office with Porting ID in Panchkula on 14th December, 2011. Till now I haven't got any update regarding the progress on MNP. If I ask Airtel, they say you need to contact Relaince. If I ask them, then say that Mobile Clearing House hasn't cleared the number yet. It has been 15 days and still no progress and all the people say that the number portability work is done in 7 days max. So whats going on here? Really Bad..

        Hello,

        I made Airtel broadband request on 2-Mar-2011 through Airtel website giving my mobile number, email-id and address details. I got 2 auto generated request numbers through SMS. These numbers are[protected] and [protected]. On same day I got call from a person claiming from Airtel to send someone to collect my documents. The person came at my home address and collected my photo, copy of voter-id card and Rs 500 for 649/month broadband plan. He did give me any form to fill up and said your document will be processed in 1-2 days.

        After one week, I did not get the connection, the person who collected my documents is not reachable. When I called up Airtel customer care, they said they can't verify anything until Form number is known and asked me to visit nearest relationship center.

        All this is very suspicious. I seriously believe that Airtel system is hacked by anti-social elements to get valid ID proofs. I am not concerned with Rs 500 but the copy of my voter-id that can be used to obtain N number of fake SIM connections.

        As advise to reader, please follow 2 simple rules while giving away your ID proofs:
        1) Always submit documents in retail outlet or customer center office. Never give to collection agents
        2) Write purpose of the ID proof on the copy so that it can not used by making further copies of it.

          Hi,

          My no. [protected] was ported to airtel on 19th feb,2011 and from since then my services automatically gets barred untill I reinsert sim in my mobile. I have tried keeping sim another handset but i was facing same problem. I have complained many a times at customer care about this issue with no proper reply.

          At last on 8th march,2011 they have told me replace my existing sim with new one from Airtel relationship centre which I did from Borivali (West), Mumbai relationship centre, at 12:00 noon, by paying Rs. 25 for the sim and they have told me new sim will get activated in maximum 4 hours but untill 11:00pm my sim is not activated yet.

          To my surprise today when I contacted customer care they have told me your number is not in thier database which means youe number is not ported yet to airtel.

          I have taken corporate sim and more than one week over and still my sim is not activated and i called up customer care and they told that still thay did not receive my application and i have already handover the application to exicutive.this is realy bad service from Airtel, they are very good in advertise but not in service to custome..

          Airtel — New sim not yet activated

          I bought an Airtel SIM card on Saturday Sept. 13 and was told it would be activated on Monday. I have tried every day since then to activate it by calling 123 and always get the same reply: Check Operator Services. Today I called Customer Care and was told first told that it had been connected, which was not true, and second, that I had provided no identity - also not true, as I sent my passport photocopy and a photo of myself. If I had kno9wn Airtel was so inefficient, I would never have opted for this connection. I see that many other dissatisfied customers have sent a variety of complaints. If Airtel is unable to honour their commitments, could I please have my money back? I see no reason to make them a gift of Rs. 300. The SIM card I hold is Mobile No. [protected] - a totally useless number.
          I had purchase one AIRTEL sim on 16.06.08 but till now i.e. on 18.06.08 at 11:00 am my sim is not activated.

          i had bought an Airtel sim card bearing no. [protected] & then deposited the Application Form with valid documents as said by AIRTEL POINT Jharsuguda before one & half month, but after one week or more my Incoming calls were active but Outgoing calls were barred, so i called the Customer Care Executive (C.C.E.) & found that my documents are not submitted. So i questioned the same to AIRTEL POINT they replied that the documents have been missed, so kindly send us the documents again. So I did the same. now after 1 month when the Sim Card was deactivated, i asked the C.C.E. and the reply was the documents were not submitted, so i asked AIRTEL POINT they say now that the card can't be activated, and argued me rubbish & told me to buy a new card. SO CAN I KNOW FOR WHOSE MISTAKE I WILL BEAR THE LOSS.

          recently 4 weeks back I've buyed a new sim card of Airtel from Pandey Mobile, Uttam Nagar. But after doing so many effort I'm not able to call from that number as well as not been able to dial any number from that sim card. I've already put Rs. 444 recharge in that sim. I've talked to the mobile shop owner and Airtel customer care, but both of them are throwing the ball in one another's court. Please help me to get that activated.

          There was no any complaint report by either side. In the month of jan'08 i have submitted Rs.1000 for three years validity.it is a corporate conection with GPRS facility. for GPRS i have to pay 99 plus sirvice tex per month which i have paid also.ON 23 feb 2009 i have paid 500 rupees for gprs without getting any facility from airtel.
          but since oct'08 after I missed my sim air tel has provided the sim without active.I have discussed with customer care so many time but no body has given me response from customercare representative of air tel.
          i hope you will support me for this and also you r requested take action for compensation also as i am wasting my money since oct 08.

          I lost my mobile last thursday(11-Jun-2009) and I immediately informed at Airtel Relationship Center, Electronic City, Bangalore-100.
          I request to executive to block MY SIM.
          She suggest me to buy NEW SIM and told me I should not worry about the plan and Number(+91-[protected]), It will be same.Even she Informed me that MY NEW SIM Will get activated today(11-Jun-2009) 03.00 PM.
          But 4 days passed nothing has happen still SIM Not activated.
          My connection is POST PAID Corporate (WIPRO-CUG 199 plan)

          Please help me I try to reach the custome care but no satisfactory answer I received.

My idea sim stopped working on 02/02/2013 but till now Airtel sim is not activated. I have made contact to airtel customer care many times but did not get satisfactory response.             I m dev chauhan,[protected]. on my mob. no. wiyhout any intimation they activeted services like metromony, cricket pack. When i calling 121. they r only doing formlty like yes sir sorry for inconvinous now i m this service pack turn into deactiveted and when isk him abt service pack how they r activeted on my no. they told me that sorry sir it never happen again.
            All i writing bcause i never expect from one of the most famous brand in telecom industry AIRTEL. kindly that metter .

              AIRTEL 3G - NO USE: I am struggling to get to activate 3G signals in my USB device. (Mobile No. [protected]) I have taken the USB 3G Device one and half month back and till date i don't get 3G signals. Do you think is this FUNNY? Yes, Several times I have walked into airtel office located in bangalore opp. to jayadeva hospitals. Similarly i made many calls to the customer care number...BUT no one is helped me to get activated the 3g connection. Its all about change in system in terms of CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP. Now a days no one bothered to take care customer complaints as like earlier. I can not see any senior people / representatives to handle the calls in their major offices in bangalore. As a customer dont have any option to satisfy with their calls. I shall wait for tomorrow if the problem still exists i shall shift to other service provider.

              Airtel — airtel signal, useless company should shut company

              The airtel is showing no progress in resolving signal problem , this i am talking for capital of india , delhi dwarka . i do not know if this is happening in delhi do not know how in remote places.

              i had a veryyyyyyyyyyyyyy bad experience with Airtel DTH not only DTH iam useing their mobile connection, land line and internet even though they simply skip the customer quries.Some few days back i faced a problem in my DTH i called to their customer care[protected] you peoples never trust me, i tried some almost 20 times a day ill never get a line to contact them, by gods grace after several tries i got a appoinment (even u can easily get appoinment to meet our prime minster) to speak with their one of the customer care executive(useless executives) they asked so many questions before i placed my queiry(even the credit card banks never ask such questions, i hope in future they will ask us when u went for a loo and when u took bath) after a long hold they asked my quires, i said my problem that my DTH is not working properly like i can view only some 10 channels(for your information iam paying 285 per month) for that one of their customer care excutive said recently we lanched one satilite coz of that you facing this kind of problem it will be rectified automatically, i said ok .i raised the complaint on thrusday 24th march 2011 after noon 3 0 clock .But till friday eveing i faced the same problem again i start tried to contact their customer care after my 25 th try one executive(useless executive) attened my cal i said the same thing and i shouted why you peoples are not responding for my quries, he simply hungup the call, again i tried all the peoples huging up the cals just like that, i got pissed off.These useless executive least bother to answer my quires(i hope some airtel senior persons will look in to this forum for their information iam provideing here my customer id :[protected], if you have the access you can listen the recorded voice) Finnaly on satrauday i got a message from airtel we r sending our executive to ur location to resolve the problem and they gave one mobile number of nearest rude and bloody distributer [protected] he never picks the call finally he picked the cal on sunday morning and he is telling we will send our executive shortly, i waited till 12 noon againg i called after some 10 tries he picked the call and shouting at me and he is telling we cant do the service now its possible only on tuesday if you wish you can go and give complaint on me with any of the airtel head office(i think Airtel is giveing delearship only to the gunda"s) Being we are working peoples we will get a chance to see the T.v only on sundays but these peoples ruined my wholeday happiness.

              may be some peoples or Airtel Staffs will think that he is a useless guy spending time on this and writeing this forum, even iam a cool guy and i will take all the matters very casualy but they make me to write like this and wastinng my precious time.Iam writeing this not to spoil their business atleast others get good service in future.Atlast i called up one of their executive who installed the DTH he came and rectified the problem and he charge me Rs300 for that, i asked him why you are charging more for this 5 mins work he told me that iam working on sundays and specia;y for you coz of that iam charging this much.He he he he i dono how to react.

              Don't buy a airtel product(like prepaid, Post paid& 3G data card & other product from airtel). This company is fraud company in the world, because my basic problem is not clear.               My first problem : i recharged rs.201/- for 250mb data usage. but im not get the 250mb data. I complain the cuctomer care .               Airtel customer service stinks ! They just don't care customers..even they disconnect the line while conveying nature of complaints..I am using 3g post paid connection ([protected]) last one month which is even slower than dial up connection !               In response to my complaint, i too got a letter from one Mr. Rakesh Kumar followed by telphone call of Mr. Rahul. They told me within 4 days my 3g will be up and I received a call again from Rahul on 7th September saying my 3g is now up and running. Since I was not carrying my iPad next day (8th Sept) checked my connection and found it is still deactivated !! I tried reaching Rahul on his mobile but one of his colleague picked up the call saying Rahul is not around !! I left a message with his colleague that the 3g connection is still not re-activated. I again tried to reach Mr. Rahul several times on his mobile but he never picked up my call and switched off the mobile !! Finally I managed to reach an old friend of mine who works with airtel in senior position to re-activate my 3g connection. From the day it was up and running, I continue to get atleast 3 calls from airtel for payment and threatening me to disconnect the line ! Now I have decided to donate airtel 3g payment to charities but not to Sunil Bharati Mittal.
              The worst customer care ever even reliance is much better atleast the answer well especially the lower parel customer care. Exe name Rajesh is just good for nothing. A donkey sitting on a carpet. High time this people should get a big hit on their bumps..
              Have to agree with you all. Worst ever customer support. I have a Prepaid 3G datacard and have recharged it only once. Within a month it is deactivated and even after numerous calls to the so called customer support there is no solution. First I was asked to walk-in to their office as this cannot be done over phone. When I went to the nearest office I was asked to go to their headoffice in the city as they do not have the means to answer my query!!! The customer care number[protected] is useless. It gives only two options for download and does not even talk about 3G!!! Still going around without any solutions...have to throw out this card...
              same here airtel is worst no talks properly most time they says voice breaking, if we call other airtel helpline numbers most they refer to us to 121 and 121 they wont pick up also, , , they are selling cheaps chinese made data card for 2400 ruppess which they have bought for just few ruppess...

                Please beware of the Airtel Broadband fraud done by the company in the pretext of collecting undue non-payment charges.

                I had a Airtel Broadband connection[protected] in my wife's name, in my old residence in Malad West Mumbai, for which i had given a shifting request to my current residence in Goregaon (W) in the month of August, 2010. After a couple of days, Airtel informed me that the connection is not available in the new location, and hence, i gave a Disconnection request to them. After this i got a few calls from them informing me about the service non availability again and again. On every occasion, i informed them that i had disconnected the service already, and they must take back the instrument and send me the final bill. The following month, i got a call from the billing dept asking for the pending payment. I promptly made a check payment, which their personnel collected from my place. The lady in the billing dept categorically confirmed that it's the full and final payment for my account, and henceforth there wouldnt be any bill against the account.

                Suddenly, after a gap of six months, on 26th Feb, 2011, i got a call from someone named Devanshu Patel ([protected]) - claiming to be a Munshi in a Delhi Civil court - who informed that there was a legal notice being sent to me for which we didnt respond. When asked, he confirmed the address, i.e. my former residence address, where the notice was sent. He also told me to get in touch with the lawyer NK Singh, who it seemed, sent the notice. Mr Patel insisted that i resolve the issue with the lawyer or else a Civil case would be registered in the court. Shocked and absolutely clueless, i got in touch with the lawyer. Mr.Singh told me that I had Rs.1485/- to pay to Bharti Airtel Broadband service, and the company had sent out the notice to recover the amount. Despite telling him that I was being wrongly billed for a month, and i already made the final payment, he wouldnt listen. He told me I had to pay the amount immediately if i want to stop the legal proceedings. And he gave me a legal id[protected]. Both Mr Patel and Singh asked me to make the payment within a hour or so to avoid the proceedings.

                Feeling so helpless, i had no option but to go to the nearest Airtel shop in Lokhandwala, Andheri to pay the amount. After paying, i called up Mr Patel and Singh both to confirm the payment, and provided them with the details. I asked Mr Singh to send me the documents pertaining to the closure / settlement of the case. He took my address and assured that he'd send the 'khareej-nama' (out of court settlement) to me via courier as soon as possible.

                After all these, I called up Airtel customer care (121) and complained about the wrong billing, and the harassment i just had gone through. They esacalated the case, and one Mr Raghavendra from the escalation dept got in touch with me. After seeing all the records, he admitted that it's a mistake from Airtel's side as they took 15 days to process the shifting request for which the account remained active despite me cancelling the same. hence i was charged for the month, and the company kept sending bills to my old address, even though they were fully aware that the i had shifted from the address. In 6 months, the amount, with recurring interest and subsequent fines, went upto Rs 1485 from Rs 900, and then they had sent me a legal notice to pay the amount. He assured me that i need not worry, and it would be resolved by March 1st week, and all the needful would be done; they would get in touch for the same. But, unfortunately, they never got in touch, and nothing had been done!

                In the mean time, i found out that there are many similar cases being reported on several internet sites. There are several posts about how the customers were trapped by the company in exactly the similar manner i had experienced. You can search google with "Airtel lawyer NK Singh" to see those complaints. Meanwhile almost 10 days went past, and there was no document from Mr Singh. So, i called up Mr Patel and NK Singh. After many attempts also, i couldnt contact Mr Patel, who simply doesn't pick up the calls, or the number is switched off. However, I was able to reach Mr Singh. but, to my surprise, he simply denied such calling ever took place at all. He refused to send me the necessary documents, and was extremely rude. I spoke to several persons in that Law firm that Mr Singh claims to work for Airtel -- Naved Khan, Nk Singh, Prashant Verma, who keep denying any such incident, and tell me that they give a damn.

                I feel extremely dejected and annoyed by such malpractice being adapted by such a reputed company like Airtel. While i am exploring all my options to bring them to justice, i want to warn all of you who are reading this to be fully aware of such fraud/scam that Airtel is doing to collect undue amounts from their customers.

                Airtel Broadband — Fraudulently Billing despite disconnection

                I received a bill for November when the connection had already been disconnected on 30 Oct at my request as I was leaving the premises on 31 Oct. 2010. Excerpt from the mail:
                "Dear Customer,

                Please find attached your Airtel Bill for,

                Airtel Number: [protected]
                Bill Number:[protected]
                Bill Period:05/11/2010 to 04/12/2010

                Please save it for your future reference. You need Acrobat Reader installed on your computer to view this bill."

                I have sent them a mail as below: (address / contact details removed for privacy). Seeing Airtel's extremely poor record at responding appropriately to mails, posting this for quicker response , and also to caution other consumers.

                M/S Airtel,
                As I have moved from the premises ......................................................., New Delhi on 31 Oct. 2010,
                I had got the connection to the land line and the DSL terminated on 30 Oct. and the services too were stopped.

                Please do the following:
                1. Correct your record, as I do not want to spend time corresponding.

                2. As already requested, refund the deposit and any excess rental paid by me to my current address:

                3. Please also add to the refund, Rs 10,000 as token compensation for having caused annoyance and wasted my time corresponding with you on this issue, caused by your poor record keeping.

                    It is more than a year since I have complained and all I get is an auto reply
                    that we shall revert in 72 hours. Every time airtel promises to rectify the
                    problem and then makes the same mistake.

                    For the last almost one year we are being charged Rs.99 plus service tax for a gaming service we haven't used. The same problem is repeated in every months bill for over a year.

                    We have never used the gaming service and you have confirmed that as well. We have recd mails from Airtel gaming as well as landline departments that the mistake is at their end. The mails from the departments gaming as well as landline are state clearly that the gaming was never activated on our number. Please can someone look into it properly?

                    HAS AIRTEL GONE BANKRUPT? I SHALL BE TAKING STRONG ACTION AGAINST AIRTEL FOR THE HARASSMENT'S AND UNDUE WRONGFUL CHARGES. CAN WE MAKE A FORUM AGAINST THEM. THIS IS REALLY UNDELIVERABLE.

                      This is to bring into your kind consideration that i am using a
                      prepaid mobile number [protected] provided by airtel India. My number
                      exists in ndnc(national do not call registry). Still i keep on
                      receiving unwanted promotional messages. ther than this without my
                      prior permission unwanted service alerts have been activated on my
                      number and a day to day basis deduction is done from my number. Due to
                      this a loss of around INR 200 has been done to me. I have tried to
                      escalate the problem lot many times to the customer care and senior
                      officials such as the nodal officer of the area Mr.
                      Amitabh([protected]). But neither they are replying properly nor my
                      balance is reimbursed. Other than this i use internet on my handset
                      using the same number but the connection fails every time and a
                      balance deduction happens. I am unable to browse the internet but
                      balance gets deducted automatically. In this regard i have launched a
                      compliant with request number CBDMO[protected].A loss of INR 100 has
                      been incurred in this manner as well. No action has been taken in this
                      regard. Kindly understand my trouble anb take a suitable and humble
                      action

                      I am from Kerala( Vazhuthacadu ), maintaning an airtel prepaid connection([protected] )for the last three years. Even though i was not compltely satisfied with the connection and services, for the sake of retaining the very old number i maintaned the connection.
                      The problem happend from last March when we shifted our office to a new premaise where every other network was available but airtel has a serious network problem all the time the phones shown out of range, we had three other employees who were using Airtel shifted to another services From March onwards i was regularly making compalints to the customer care, I almost regidterd 49 complaints regarding the issue, everyone agrees me and assured me of a solution but nothing happens till now . No one called neither messaged
                      .The astonishing thing is that the distance between our office and the nearest tower is 400 meters stright . and it is the nearest tower when compared to all the other service providers

                      Airtel Prepaid Services — lack of services

                      hi,

                      I had lost my mobile on July 7 and updated the loss of mobile to airtel 121 requesting to bar all calls. second day I had received a call from airtel asking if I need a replacement of the sim, for which I had replied that I will think over. next day to this call I received a call from airtel regarding replacement of sim, at that point I had clearly stated, that I am not interested to continue with this number, kindly cancel the number.

                      after couple of day, I again received a call stating me to take the sim, I replied to cancel the same. in aug I received a mail for the full month, so I had called up 121 and informed y I have been charged, they stated sim is not canceled! I requested them to do so.. this repeated in September and oct with late fees(amount of Rs1138)! and received a call from airtel collection team for payment. we discussed the issue and it was finalized that I need to pay only Rs542, and case is closed. in couple of day I received a letter stating to pay Rs1138 else legal action will be taken!

                      so I called up there appellate office to log a complain regarding the lack of service on cancelling the sim and sending a notice to pay the full amount instead of the rs542 which was discussed with the collection team. I was informed that they will study the revert back in couple of day. this call was done on Thursday, and they had promised to return a call by Monday. I did not receive any call on Monday nor Tuesday. today when I called, they state they attempted to call to the number which is canceled!

                      Finally they state that I need to pay the full amount, there has been lack of service from airtel, due to their mistakes I need to pay the full amount! Is there any place I can complain for the lack of service?

                      My Airtel no. is [protected]. i have been repeatedly facing the problem o[censored]nwanted services getting operative without any request and my balance is being deducted on there behalf.

                      The recent case is of some TADKA LIVE Service getting operative from 01 Dec 10 and my balance being deducted on its behalf whereas i have never requested for such service. As these services deduct Rs 10 , This service has been activated without taking any concurrence from me.Again the same service was renewed on 07 Dec 10 and Rs10 was deducted from my balance. Earlier news alert was activated though I did not ask so.

                      When complained to the customer care executive Mr Soma Anand on 08 Dec10 at 1038 am , the response was very pathetic.and, it was told that service will be stopped but the balance will not be refunded.With great displeasure I am informing you that I am not satisfied with the services of customer care.It was not expected by an organisation like your's.

                      I request you to look into this matter so that it will not be repeated in future.

                      Airtel / GSM Prepaid service — Lack in service

                      I am Deepak Udairamka. I made a request to port in with port in request code no. RD217281 from Reliance GSM to Airtel from my mobile number [protected] on 5th March 2011 and I got the message from airtel on 12th march about the successful port in.Now I am receiving the messages from other networks but not able to receive any call and whenever I tried to recharge my airtel sim, I got a failure message of the same with transaction ID 32629148 and many more other.

                      Airtel — Balance Amount is deducted for Unwanted Services are activated without my concern

                      This is regarding unwanted services that are activated on my airtel mobile without my concerns .I called up airtel customer care but they were unable to tell me the date from which it is activated .I asked f how much I am charged for these services till now and that was also not answered .

                      "Thank You for choosing MODEL VIDEO CLUB_7_12 on your airtel mobile. You have been charged Rs.12.0 for 3 days and your account balance post charging is Rs2.96 at 01:07. "

                      I even don't know what the service is about. So please deactivate the service and refund me the money as early as possible !

                        I would like to bring to your kind notice that on[protected] i received my Unique Porting ID IA775717, through which i ported out from Idea to Port in Airtel which was done promptly, while in the process of porting in i got a call from Airtel as well the retailer who ported my mobile from Idea to Airtel that i will receive 10ps Airtel to Airtel call charges for a period of 3 months as a Porting benefits..on[protected] my number [protected] has been changed from Idea to Airtel, much to my shock i have seen the call charges, but no use Airtel is charging the same charge though they promised me 10ps for 3 months to Airtel number. Then i lodge complaing with the Airtel customer care they suggested me that your offer will be activated with in 48 hours but in vein not activated though, again i called them they said 2 days more (complaint numbers are CMBNR[protected], CMBNR[protected]) since then i am struggling to get my offer with Airtel. When they dont want to give offers to new customers then why do they offer such packages to lure customers.

                          I have been using Airtel Digital TV for almost a year now. From the begining I have been using the Economy Pack. Being a Cricket fan I was very happy to enjoy this pack as it contains Star Cricket/ESPN/STAR Sports . But when I recharged my pack today with 6 months advance rental pack, I was so disappointed. Starsports/ESPN/Star Cricket are taken out of this pack. In stead TEN spots/Cricket/Action are added. When India tour of South Africa was going on TEN spots/Cricket/Action was not part of the Economy pack. Now when the wold cup season starts Starsports/ESPN/Star Cricket channels are replaced with TEN spots/Cricket/Action. Is this not a joke?

                          THIS IS JUST CHEATING OF THE CUSTOMERS...

                          I had so much of trust on Airtel for so long. But all the trust is gone now. I feel cheated. And more so after my series of talk with the the customer care representative. I know after this I will be advised to take the top up pack for the sports channels. And eventually I have to do so... Its matter of just Rs. 30-40....But believe me i am so hurt for this kind of service provided by Airtel.

                            I want Change my mobile network in same number. My mobile no is [protected] (Airtel No). In this network in my house signal problem. Then only i will change my network. I want to change a videocon network.
                            Many times i will complaint in Airtel network, they didnot get any action then only i will change my network. But Airtel didn't cut my connection when they will cut the connection, that time only i will change my network in same no.
                            Pls accpect my complaint.

                              Hi,

                              I was a customer of Airtel for the past 6 years, but now i'm facing lots of issues in their service. I'm using airtel broadband service with the speed of 1Mbps with DSL usage limit of 50 GB. But there was a frequent disconnection since from 29th of Jan, I called so many times to airtel customer care, they are just giving me reason not trying to resolve the issue.

                              Here is some of the Complaints numbers

                              Jan[protected], Feb[protected], Feb[protected], Feb[protected], Feb[protected], Mar[protected], Mar[protected]

                              For the past one month I'm just getting the speed of 300kbps instead of 1Mbps, Now they are saying I might have reached the Fair usage policy.

                              Just think, Is it possible to utilize 50 GB of data in just 18 days of time with a 256kbps speed internet?

                              I'm a technical guys so I know how much data transfer will be there?

                              I need a solution for my problem, and I want the details of DSL usage.

                                I have submitted a cancellation request for my airtel broadband connection on 21st November 2011 and submitted the modem and telephone to airtel office (splendid towers, hyderabad) on 25th November 2011 . Reference number for submission of cancellation is 008681. I have paid the remaining of the bill, final settlement on 13th Dec for rupees 698/- through online which seems exactly the bill generated on pro-rata basis.

                                I have started receiving the bills on my old address, which I came to know lately and when I have contacted Airtel. They made my life miserable everytime I talk to them or mail them, they issue a fresh ticket everytime for resoulution.

                                I have submitted the modem and telephone on 25th Nov and reference number for that given by Airtel is 008681 and paid the remaining of the bill. I dont understand when they will solve the problem.

                                Points to be noted:

                                Airtel says there is a request for retaining the connection, dont know how they got the request, as I left Hyd on 25th Nov 2010.

                                I have submitted the modem and telephone on 25th Nov, which itself means cancellation of service, They came-up with a version that they have received the cancellation request only on Dec 7th 2011. Does submission of modem and telephone doesnt mean cancellation??( however I have given a cancellation request 1st on 21st Nov 2010 and then only submitted the instruments).

                                  I am sudharsan one of airtel's loyal customer from 2003. The purpose of me writing this mail to you is with the last hope that justice will be done to me.

                                  I came back to India and bought a connection with airtel in bangalore and was working with a company called Blue Dart since 2003. My personaly mobile number was [protected]. I have been holding this number since then at a individual capacity. Subsquently, I joined a company called Deccan 360 in 2008 and I continued to hold this number in my name all payments were made by me individually through internet.

                                  However to my surprise I found in the month of May that my number was transfered to the company Deccan cargo without any confirmation from my side. The below mail is evident that I had lodged a complaint to that extent. NO NOC NOR ANY TRANSFER OF CONTRACT FROM MY SIDE FROM AIRTEL OR THE COMPANY.

                                  The company promised that they have informed Airtel about the fault and that they will reticfy. But today I am leaving this company and to my surprise i am finding that they have deactivated my number without any notice in spite of me bring up this entire case to the airtel customer coordinator Sreehari and malathi.

                                  I am in chennai as my mother is hospitalized and she is very critical. To my mental toture the only number i have [protected] has been deactivated yesterday. I had visited your teleshop in 100 ft indaranagar blr and met up with Ms.asma who was very responsible and showed her all the document which proved that this number was in individual name and Airtel actual have done a mistake by transefering it to corporate without any permission from me.

                                  Then yesterday with disstress called and spoke to mr.johnwillams patrick but he was not able to help as he was stating that the number is in companys name and he cannot do anything about it. My questiion to him was HOW ON EARTH AIRTEL CAN CHANGE A PERSONAL NUMBER TO CORPORATE WITHOUT MY CONSERT ?? Airtel should have followed the same proceedure when transfer from individual to corporate which now they are quoting .

                                  I need your help and support to understand this case and help me get back this number by tomorrow so that i can get calls including my job opportunity.. Please support. Find below the mail i have written to your support system without any action so far.

                                    I am having an airtel prepaid connections [protected] & this is the fifth time facing same issue where Airtel has started soem value added services without my concent.

                                    1. On 7-Jan, I registered myself with airtel (per their advice) for not receiving any promotional offers.

                                    2. Instead they started few services for whcih they start charging money like (a) Missed call alert for INR 15, (b) A cobmo offer for INR 2 per day......till date they have charged me INR 29+ and are not ready to refund them back.

                                    3. Today, I noticed through some message & when I called up 198....the first was Mr. Prahalad & he was able to disconnect the services....second was Mr. Ram who hanged up the phone after long waiting....third was their Supervison (Mr. Mukesh) who behaved in a very bad manner has refused to refund the money....

                                    4. I don't know why they can't value money for a prepaid customer who opts for this option as he do not want to spend more.

                                    If this is the way of earning money then I think it is not right and against TRAI regulations.

                                    Also, I am planning to swith all my & my relatives connection (approx 10) from Airtel to Vodafine.

                                      Airtel prepaid Customer Care 121 is the most frustrating and you cannot get connected to the operator. I have been trying since 27th Feb and it never gets connected inspite I agree to pay 50p/3 min AS PER THE RECORDED MESSAGE.
                                      I paid Rs57 on 27th Feb. 2011 for getting 1p/sec call to US but I still get charged Rs 6.40/Min. Again I paid Rs 57 on 4th Feb. and still being charged Rs 6.40/min.

                                      I have been trying to call 121 but no response.I have never faced such terrible service in my life.

                                      I had been enjoying Airtel's prepaid services on my mobile since more than five years. Of late some services are getting activated without my knowledge and on a daily basis my account balance is getting debited. I had contacted the Customer Care, the services of which is not to be told any further. Those call center guys/girls talk as if some recorded message has to be played, their statements do not provide any satisfactory reply. Kindly see that not only such forceful marketing be encouraged as also these 'customer care ' be handled by some responsible representative of Airtel office and not mere call center irresponsible kids. We really do not so much time to keep trying to get a line for 121. Its simply ridiculous. Hope to hear from you in my email-id [protected]@gmail.com. Regards.

                                        My name is Pulkit Kapadia, and mobile no is [protected]. SIr on the same mobile no Airtel had activacted some GPRS plan 7rs/day with out my prior information.The plan is stopped but my 7 Rs. for one day has been deducted. also they have activate some news pack with out my permission and for these two reason i have called so many times to Airtel and i had requested them to refund me back but each time they are telling me to give refund with 4 hours but i have not get my balance yet. So Airtel is doing cheating with customers and we normal indian have to suffer from this. So i requesting you to take action againts them.Because TRAI is the last option a normal person to fight against this type of services which are given forcefully to customers. So i have very hope with you Please sir take some actions against them.
