We was an old connection(Connection A/c No.[protected] of Airtel at our D-12, Okhla Phase 1, site, in which we were using 3333 plan & need some minor changes but Bharti Airtel never make it possible & replied us that your connection is standalone type(Data Line). But that connection we get with voice & data. I was surprised and ask them that how they make it possible (a plan which only comes in data & voice run only data line).

They suggested us to surrender the old connection & purchase a new one. Before surrender my old connection I am informed the Bharti Airtel nodal officer that after surrender, I want same static ip (122.176.35.195) used in old plan in this new connection but their executive told us that is a chargeable service and changes charge is Rs. 2500/-. I doesn't understand that old static ip is free because of we surrender the connection & static ip. Bharti Airtel was bind us to surrender the old plan.

The above issue is raise due to Bharti Airtel department, We face lots of problem in our official work. But they doesn't want to understand our problem & given assistance. Bharti Airtel only want to earn for any how. This is not the way to serve the commercial clients.

Please help me to obtain my old static ip 122.176.35.195 & Close my Service Request 10032596 on urgent basis

    problem resolve till 9th Jaunuary 2012 but no one reached at our site till the
    time.
    Please send your technical person on urgent basis regarding the configuration
    of static ip 122.176.35.195. Becuase we also need lots of time to configure &
    check connectivity with our German based host of Chevrolet.

      We have been following up with the dealer in Jagatsinghpur for replacement of Setop box but the dealer is playing cat and mouse game about replacing the same .It was once replaced with a faulty set and when asked by the repair mechanic to replace it for the 2nd time ,the dealer is saying he cannot send one because it is raining.

      Such unprofessionalism and clever acts should be abolished from the business . Hope my setop box gets repaired in this lifetime .

        Greetings Airtel,
        This is a complaint letter from myself regarding my money getting deducted unnecessarily (from my Airtel Prepaid Kerala Account) through some ACTIVE SMS service even though I have not subscribed for any.

        SMS SERVICE DETAILS (Message Details) :-
        Sender ID :- AD-97890
        Type :- Dating
        Category :- Dating Tips
        Amt deducted :- One Rupee Per incoming SMS.
        Last SMS Received :- On 11- JAN - 2011 at 02:47:03 AM

        Steps already taken from my side :-

        1) Spoke to an Airtel customer service executive regarding the same and got a *fake
        confirmation from his side that my problem has been resolved. It may be kindly noted that
        as per his direction I have also :-
        1) send stop sms to 121
        2) made the "Info service" in the massage settings of my handset to "OFF" mode.


        RESULT :- THE ISSUE STILL EXISTS < Still getting the amt deducting dating tips sms. >


        2) Spoke to a second Airtel customer service executive (Shamna on 09/Jan/2011) regarding the same and again received a *fake assurance from her side that my problem has been resolved. Request Reference number is CBDSB[protected]

        RESULT :- THE ISSUE STILL EXISTS < Still getting the "amt deducting dating tips" sms. >

        3) Spoke to a senior Airtel customer service executive (Aishwarya on 11/Jan/2011) regarding the same. I told her that today morning 02:47:03 AM also I have received the "amt deducting dating tips" sms. But she told me that she cant find any such sms service active for my mobile and hence there is nothing that she can do further.

        I am using Airtel service for many years. But now a days, I am very sorry to say that its really frustrating and irritating to the core. The commitment, the service and attitude that we receive from the customer care reps are totally horrible. There is no sorry figure, no apologies and not even any respect. The second CSE namley Shamna just kept the phone in between the conversation.

        I am just astonished to realize that after making such a big mistake nobody from the customer care is not even saying that "I/we am sorry" ya "I/we apologize".


        I expect the Airtel team to resolve my issue as early as possible and let me know a true conformation from you side regarding the same matter. I hope I get the justice this time with Airtel before making me move towards the consumer court procedures.

        AirTel — money was deducted unnecessarily

        i was told by that airtel provides a call rate of 1.50 rs per minute for std but after talking for 5 minutes i found that my 12.32 rs were deducted,,,,on which basis i dont know .another day i got a top up of rs 60 so no money was transacted but only msg came rechare successfully with 60.00 and talktime 0.00 .please pay to the retailer...........

          Mobile No: [protected]. I have not activated any MMS service. But i have receiving sms message and deducting 2 Rs from my mobile account. i want to deactivate the same immediately. and return back the same immediatly

          I Have already called customer care and informed 6 times and i have sent the message more than 10 times to stop the MMS service subscription for this mobile no.

          Why you are begging like this ? You earning profit by begging like this only ah ? How much time one person should call and message for you. Instead of begging like this you can do directly.

          There is no words to scold your service ,simply from your side you will activate some other things and deducting money from our side. This is not shame for like this big mobile service provider.

          Why you guys doing this begging job like this. I have too much of anger if i call from mobile means simply you omiting the call.


          Hereafter if you activate anything for this mobile i will surely call and scold like anything. Thatz sure.
          Now the issue resolved
          My Friend, please send sms to STOP write and send to 121. And if you seen after short massage. And if you want to stop then only number sent it.

            I would like to raise the same complaint for my Airtel prepaid phone number bearing [protected]. Inspite of having sufficient balance I am unable to make calls and I am also getting an automated reply as ‘U HAVE INSUFFICIENT BALANCE TO MAKE A CALL and gets disconnected. I have faced a lot of problems because of it, unable to make important calls at most urgent times.

            I tried contacting airtel helpline and even that gets disconnected, because of insufficient balance. It requires a minimum balance of 50paise.
            I called up customer care services so many times but nobody is taking the responsibility and no one ready to take up this issue seriously. Sometimes i was put on hold for some 15 min or more than that saying they are transferring this call to somebody else and they never come back. Sometimes they themselves cut off the call.Sometimes they say its a problem with your handset but let me make it very clear to you that i changed my handset last month only. This problem was there even before changing my handset. I told them the same but they do not agree. I am highly disappointed with the way you guys are responding.I am facing a lot of problems because of this.

            Please make sure that this doesn’t happen again.

            Dear Sir,

            I would like to raise a compliant against Airtel in the consumer forum. My Airtel prepaid phone number bearing [protected]. I was having prepaid airtel balance of more than Rs. 40 and sometimes even Rs. 60, Inspite of having sufficient balance I am unable to make calls and I am getting an automated reply as ‘U HAVE INSUFFICIENT BALANCE TO MAKE A CALL, HENCE IT WILL BE DISCONNECTED’ and gets disconnected. I have faced a lot of problems because of it, unable to make important calls at most urgent times. I am extremely unhappy with this happening.

            I tried contacting their helpline and even that gets disconnected, because of insufficient balance. It requires a minimum balance of 50paise.
            One way they are wrong in claiming that I have insufficient balance and other way they are not even giving me access to raise compliant.

            Kindly provide me justice in this matter with proper compensation and making sure that this doesn’t happen again.

              I HAVE PORTED FROM VODAFONE TO AIRTEL.
              ON THE PORT BEING SUCCESSFUL(1.12.2011) I CALLED IN AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE TO KNOW MY TARRIFF PLAN
              THE CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE INFORMED ME THAT I HAD GOT 800 AIRTEL TO AIRTEL FREE MINUTES 5OO SMS AFTER WHICH MY AIRTEL TO AIRTEL CALL CHARGES WOULD BE 10 PAISE PER MINUTE AND AIRTEL TO OTHER MOBILE 60 PAISE PER MINUTE VALID FOR ONE YEAR.
              WHEN THE FREE MINUTES WERE OVER I WAS BEING CHARGED @25 PAISE PER MINUTE ON LOCAL AIRTEL CALLS INSTEAD OF 10 PAISE PER MINUTE.
              AFTER THIS I CALLED AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE (ON 1.1.2012) TO ENQUIRE ABOUT THE MATTER AND I WAS TOLD THAT I NEED TO MAKE A COMPLAINT TO THE NODAL AUTHORITY OF AIRTEL.
              I MADE A COMPLAINT WITH THE AFORESAID AUTHORITY AND IT WAS ADRESSED BY MISS DEEPIKA ON 3.1.2012 .
              THEN ON 9.1.2012 I RECEIVED A CALL FROM AIRTEL SAYING THAT THE MATTER WAS RESOLVED.
              I HAD HARDLY HUNG UP THE CALL WHEN I MADE A LOCAL CALL ON AN AIRTEL NUMBER AND I WAS CHARGED @25 PAISE PER MINUTE.
              I CALLED UP THE NODAL AUTHORITY OF AIRTEL ONCE MORE TO MAKE A COMPLAINT.
              THIS TIME THE COMPLAINT WAS ADDRESSED BY MR. ANIRBAN DEY WHO TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS NO SUCH OFFER FOR CUSTOMERS WHO PORT INTO AIRTEL FROM OTHER NETWORKS AND THAT IT WAS THE MISTAKE OF THE CUSTOMER CASE EXECUTIVE WHO GAVE ME WRONG INFORMATION.
              HE ALSO INFORMED ME THAT THE CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE HAD NO AUTHORITY TO GIVE ME INFORMATION ABOUT MY TARRIFF.
              MY QUESTION IS WHY SHOULD AN INNOCENT CONSUMER SUFFER FOR A FAULT ON THE PART OF A PERSON WHO ASSUMES THE CHARACTER OF A REPRESENTATIVE OF SUCH A WIDELY USED MULTINATIONAL SERVICE PROVIDER?
              THEREFORE ITS MY REQUEST THAT I SHOULD GET THE TARRIFF INFORMED TO ME BY THE CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE FOR THE INFORMED PERIOD.

                I would like to bring it to your notice, the issues faced in mnp. I am a user of airtel in pune. I had applied for a porting code on the 28th of december and got the same az139668. I applied with all the documents to vodafone and submitted the port in request on 29th dec. I got a reply from vodafone that I cant port due to contractual obligation for which I contacted airtel and they informed me that I had a cug exclusion enabled on my account which I asked them to discontinue and also remove and company names associated with my account. After I got a confirmation from airtel that all the exclusions are removed and there are no contractual obligations, I resent the request in vodafone on 3rd of january, after which I got a call from airtel's mnp team regarding the port out and they gave me different offers like discounts on rentals and 2 months free gprs which I denied stating that I just need to port out because airtel doesnt have that much speed support on gprs which other providers have. Later I got same reply from vodafone that the request is rejected due to contractual obligation on 5th jan. So called airtel again, they informed that since the mnp team offered you discounts on rentals and offers they have closed your request of port out which I was totally upset about as I had not asked for any discounts or offers, so I asked them to cancel them all and just allow me to port out. I got a reply that there are no subsisting contractual obligations on my account and I can port out. I resent the request on 7th of january the 3rd time and today 10th of january I again got the same response from vodafone that there are contractual obligations. I am totally upset with this service and need some authority to pitch in and resolve

                  Hello,

                  I have a Airtel 3G internet connection with USB modem(They call it Dongle).
                  When i took the connection they said that first 3 recharges i will get double the amount of GB usage free.
                  I have recharged 2 times from the day i took the connection and surprisingly i recieved only half the amount of free data usage.
                  They have packages like 2.5 GB for Rs 675. I recharged with the same amount and to my surprise i got only 1.25 GB of data.(As per their information i am supposed to recieve 5 GB)
                  When i tried to call Customer support they talk to me 2 minutes and disconnect the call for no reason.
                  I've been doing this for last 3 days and no response.

                  More over rates specified on the site www.airtel.in and actual rates are totally diffferent.
                  This is clearly decieving the customer.

                  This is not the first time i have issues with Airtel and it's customer support.

                  Please suggest me on how should i proceed further.

                    I am pradeep rana and my airtel no. is [protected]. My office is located at sahibabad industrial area ghaziabad and till november 2010 i was using your broadband services at the said office address. Due to technical problems in your network i surrendered my connection. Now on 21st dec. 2011 i called back at your no. [protected] to provide me a new connection, they didn't responded me till i called back again on 29/12/2011. They told me that airtel don't have the connectivity at your site, i told them that i already was using your broadband services till one year back, then they sent their person to verify my claims. They fill up my form and get necessary documents in this regard afterwards a wireman arrived and done the wiring on 30/12/2011. And till now i have made many calls and all your executives are making falls commitments since then. On 6/01/2012 miss shabnam claimed that your connection will be installed by 6pm of 07/01/2012, that came to failure. Now today miss nisha tiwary had committed that my connection will be installed by 7:41pm on 11/01/2012, and complaint no. is 10107266. i hope god bless you and may make you so strong that you may fulfill your said commitment.

                      On repeated complaints from Oct 2011 every time my speed of 1Mbps is decreasing from 1st week of every billing period. Every billing period starts from 5th of every month.From 7th onwards company email starts as 80% data consumed on without used sanctioned quota of 5GB.On every complaint they are not in searching genuine reason.For your kind ref. attached a complaint email copy.                           Aitel service are poor in pune region .As my friend also have one modem with 3g pack always try to connect but unable to connect to 3g network.Near mankar chok (Connected to 2g network only speed is very poor ). I didn't recomend to go with airtel services..for such a shamefull service of Airtel.

                              I have a vailidity up to 15/11/2009, and I was having balance on my account. On 13 Sept 2008 Airtel has charged 30 Rs. without informing and the balance became -26.00 Rs.. How it saying the services are temporarily discontinued.

                              This is rediculas. I think I need to change the service provider.
                              My number when i activated was showing expiry on year 2022. But surprisingly, now it is showing 11th December, 2010.
                              I recently got a message stating that my documents are not complete and it said that last date for submitting them is 11th December. If i do not submit, my phone number will be suspended.
                              But just a month ago, i personally cam to Bhati House, Ashram Road, Ahmedabad and submitted all my documents along with the reference of my local guardian.

                              I am using Airtel from the last 6 years.. I had validity till 2037 until a year back when i recharged with a STD pack with validity of 1 year.. Now my Sim about to expire and on enquiring with the customer service they told me my tariff validity had already expired and my sim would expire in a months time.. My no is [protected].. The customer service representatives told me to recharge with Rs.41, Rs.46, Rs.57 to get one year validity.. But none of those transactions worked and i'm in a position to loose my number if the validity is not extended soon.. Unless i'm informed about a proper plan or recharge option soon i think i'll have to opt out of airtel to other operators..

                                Hi,

                                I am a Post Pay user bearing No [protected], [protected] and [protected]. I wanted to port my numbers to a different service provider due the Coverage Issue with 'Airtel' for a long time as no resolution was provided after repeated calls. So I sent a request for the Unique Port Code (UPC) on 18/12/2011. I got the codes on all 3 nos but when I called the customer service, I was informed I cannot use those codes unless I pay my bills. I wasted around 3 hours to know why my bills were shown a outstanding as I had paid all my bills on time and had even got a confirmation for the person I spoke to, that it was a system error that the bills were not reflecting on the system (For the First Number). Then I recd a call from Airtel on 2312/2011 requesting me, not to use the Pot code. The person told me that I will receive a call from the Technical team as they are looking into the matter. I waited for the call, but have not heard from them till date. In the due course the validity of the UPC expired (02/01/2012). When I called back on 08/01/2012 (Sunday) to get another UPC, I was provided with various misleading information by Mr. Jagdish from the Customer Srevice Dept. When I asked for his supervisor he hungup on me. then I called back and spoke to Mr. Vipul at the Customer Service dept. I asked the contact details for the Nodal Officer, the person (Vipul) on the other end gave me the details. When asked about the working hours for the Nodal officer, the person told me I can contact the Nodal any time (24X7). Eventually when I called the Nodal Officer's number it reached the Voice mail, stating can contract them only from Monday to Friday. It's a shame that the people in the Contract Centre don't have proper Product and Process knowledge. The call dropped thrice while speaking the the Customer Service Dept and I had to call again and again, had to wait in long ques to get connected to the customer service, again explain the complete scenario again and again as no noted were left on the system by the earlier people I spoke to, I wasted my valuable time in this process and finally got through the Escalation desk. I spoke to Miss. Depali (for the 2nd time as the call dropped while speaking to her for the 1st time) who told me a new story. She told me that I was contacted by Airtel on 23/12/2011 by Mr. Vaibhav from the 'Retention and Cancellation Dept' as my complaint was in regards to the Network issue. She stated that Mr. Vaibhav in his notes has mention that 'The customer's network problem is resolved and customer has agreed to stay with Airtel and as a goodwill gesture the customer was provided a 'FREE MISSED CALL ALERT SERVICE for 2 months. This was a surprise for me as I have not agreed to any such resolution. I asked for the CALL RECORDING for that day i.e. 23/12/2012. I was told by Miss. Depali from the Escalation desk that, in order to get the recording I have to make a formal complaint at www.[protected]@in.airtel.com.(Hope this info given to me correct).I tried to open the site in vain. Then I got a link to this site for complaints, hence registering my grievances here. I hope they will be answered.

                                  I have bought my Airtel number ([protected]) in 2007 and I Have converted that into postpaid in 2009, a month back i have converted that to prepaid again and i have submitted the documents again at Santhome. They took a week to activate the number, a week later I have received a message saying that resubmitting the documents, Since I couldn't find any airtel showroom near my home i took a week and i visited airtel show room at Kodambakam on a saturday, The customer service person who was sitting there said that they wont accept form on saturday, the next week i have again visited the same branch and submitted the documents but the end of the day my number got dissconnected permanently. I have called ustomer care guys many times and told about my documents status, even though they couldnt take any action. I fed up with this Airtel customer care and Airtel. They are neither giving back my money nor are they activating the service. I want some acction to be taken against to Airtel.

                                    I have acquired new internet & telephone connection on December 22, 2011 but unfortunately it is non functional since its acquisition. I have registered several complain regarding signal problem, connectivity issue, router problem, etc. but the results are negative. Concerned service engineers are closing complain without visiting site. It seems either they are not interested to resolve the issue or airtel is not committed for the services. I am really disappointed and also submitted request for terminatation of aforesaid connection with immediate effect. However there is no response for the same. Could you suggest path forward for the issue.

                                      We had DishTV in our previous house. I had planned to buy Tata Sky once we shifted to new house in Pune. We took the possession of our flat in Jan 11 & shifted in Apr 11.


                                      I was told by builders' site in-charge that the builder has done an agreement with Airtel DTH in form of MDU (multi-dwelling unit). Here a single common big dish is installed on the terrace & cabling is already done through ducts. As this project was a premium one, the builder was cautious about the elevation of the building as many small dish on terraces would spoil the look. Seeing this better interest of the project, I canceled the idea of Tata Sky & opted for Airtel DTH (gave the dishTV to our carpenters).


                                      Airtel DTH has alloted different part of the city to various agencies who look after Airtel DTH MDU (multi-dwelling unit). In our case, it was Shree Enterprises. As I have a habit of recharging various services on yearly basis, I did the same here & paid the discounted amount to Shree Enterprises for 1 year of Mega Pack by cheque. (Customer ID [protected])


                                      Initially, it was recharged with only Rs.1590 & once this amount expired, this Shree Enterprises chap, Mr. Yogendra started recharging on monthly basis. As it was never done on time, I had to remind him after I used to get SMS from Airtel DTH to recharge the account. I also lodged complaints about the same on Airtel customer care, but they did nothing. All this inconvenience despite paying for annual pack :(.


                                      Couple of months back, in mid-Nov 2011, the Shree Enterprises took money from subscribers of various residential projects for renewal & fled the city. My validity of connection for 4 months was lost due to this as well. I took up this issue with Airtel customer care, sent email, spoke with builder; but got no response from any of these except for the builder who said that you are free to get any DTH connection of your choice. Hell, why wasn't this option given before ? I have seen projects where builder has tie up with 2 DTH providers for MDU & customer is free to take any of the two.


                                      Finally, I spoke with Airtel DTH Zonal manager, Mr. Yogesh Kulkarni & he informed that Airtel Digital TV has lodged police case against shree enterprises & enquiry going on, but that chap, Yogendra is missing & his mobile is switched off.


                                      I mentioned to Mr. Yogesh that we paid to Shree Enterprises as they are authorised agency for DTH MDU of Airtel & what happens between Airtel & their agencies has nothing to do with the subscriber.
                                      The reply I got was that the amount will be credited only after recovery is done from Shree Enterpises & till then, recharge on-line. And now they have given us a new agency.


                                      Finally, I alongwith some other residents of the complex have decided to opt for Tata Sky once our current subscription ends as the issue is not just of money but commitment to the subscribers.


                                      Airtel Digital TV is not interested in subscribers, not even in case of MDU where in case of our complex, there are 3 buildings. Never opt for Airtel Digital TV, even if you feel their initial offer to be lucrative.


                                      ** Btw, Airtel DTH said that my account is not valid even for cash back offer during which I had taken the connection. Infact, they say there was no such scheme despite I having the brochures for the same. Ridiculous.

                                      Airtel Digital Tv Dth — After-Sales Service hopeless

                                      This is in reference to the harassment I have been facing since last 6 months for being a loyal customer of Airtel family for last 8 years now. I had bought Airtel Digital TV 3 years back (Customer ID [protected]) and was quite happy with the same. 6 months back my standard definition set top box got dead and I had to purchase a new one since I did not have the guarantee period on. The engineer came and installed it, but it worked only for 2 days before it went dead again. I was harassed by engineers walking into my house and it was quite inconveninet for me since I couldn't concentrate on anything else.

                                      Later they told me to buy a HD box since there was a new scheme to upgrade at Rs. 1,250/-. I again spent another amount and got the new box though I had received wrong advice from their engineers that it can give good clarity even on non-HD tv. The box was good but later started getting electronic disturbances on ETV Gujarati, ETV Marathi & B4U Music channels every 10 seconds.

                                      The senior most person visited my house with his engineer. Today I have changed and bought a new LED TV worth Rs. 40,000/- as they mentioned even my TV was bad. I did everything they told m and also they did everything but could solve the electronic disturbance problem blaming it on other factors which they always have done though they have atleast visited my house 10 times or more.

                                      Today also ETV Gujarati and Marathi are having sound disturbance every 10 seconds on my LED TV set.

                                      This is what Airtel gave me for being their loyal customer...
                                      So please be careful.

                                      I just shared this as this is the TOP PRIORITY Concerning me,,,
                                      There are also other things which have been bothering me...

                                        we are using air tel pri connection bearing account no : 14870164. The services of this network is too bad and the person who is looking after are not keeping their words in terms of services.
                                        in the month of july our line was disconnected for more than 8-10 days at that time i had contacted coustomer care, the person involved with technical team etc. but nothing was resolved. After passing 8-10 days line was automatically resumed. since i was totally disapointed with their services i decided not to pay their bill till the date they will not talk to me personally on the issue. In between they also stopped sending bills to our address. after three month mr samson called me and asked for the due. i made him realized about our problem faced in the month of july and he agreed on the waiver of Rs. 5000/- and i too agreed to pay the left amount in two three installments. After that every now and then the usually barred our line and asked for the payment. although i feel that i should pay the amount i did that. from the month of october they started asking to pay rs. 5000/- which already waived off. it was really very panic and i contact appellate and their collection team naming ishwar (form applleate), mr singh, mr vibhor, mr samson for the same and i also forwards the waiver detail which i had received from mr samson but noting has been done still today. line has been barred form more than 15 times and usually occurs on staurday and resumed either on monday or tuesday.

                                        therefore it is my humble request to bring the justice by getting my waiver of rs. 5000/- with additional rental of 40-45 day for which i have paid the rental without using the services.
                                        i.e. rs 5000 + 10,000 = 15000/-

                                        and also they should be instructed not to repeat such kind of mistake in future.
