Hi, I had got AIRTEL Sim on the 17-Dec from an Airtel Store(PARK STREET). I was told that the sim will be activated within a day. Its almost 2 weeks now, the sim is still not activated. On following up with the nodal officer over emails, the only reply that i kept on getting was "WHAT'S THE AIRTEL NUMBER"., even after sharing it with them, and metioning it in the subject line. I visited the Airtel store, Park street yesterday, to my surprise the sales officer who had sold the connection to us went to the locker room to find my documents isn’t that ridiculous.
Regarding activation of POST PAID SIMNo. [protected] to PREPAID on date 23-07-11, Still no response from Company`s side the sim is not working on either mode and because of this my work is suffering.
Kindly do the needful for my complaint redressal.

      For your attention please,

      Today i have registered a another complaint to the Airtel Customer Care. I called to gulf on 2 jan 2012 and spoke for 3min and 06 sec and for that 60 rupees have been deducted from my account. Al-thought i have added Gulf rate (rs 14) to my mobile number. They have deducted excess amount. Its not fair at all and Its happen for 2 nd time after my same complaint on Dec. 29 2011.

      My concern have not been resolved yet.

      Kindly refund the excess money deducted from my a/c.

      Airtel — Regarding excessive deduction of amount

      I am having airtel prepaid connection #[protected],I am having the plan by which I can call to any STD number in India @ 1 INR/min . On 6/Oct/2007 I did called a number & was charged 27 INR for 7 minutes.

      Regarding the same I complained to customer care & the excuse I was given is "This happened due to default , It did happens often & as you have called us we would be refunding your money within 48 hours" , my compliant number is [protected]. Hitherto, I haven't received communication/money from airtel.

      On asking what if I would not have called you, the reply from customer care personnel was in that case you would not received your money back.It feels so much embarrsed with the kind of services, the top operator of India is giving to it's 50 million customers.

      I will be more happy if this problem of "DEFAULT" is eradicated,so that the customer doesn't feels like dodged.
      I'm charged for dialing customer care number also..this is the great cheating in the telecommunication industry..none of the networks charging for their customer care..i need immediate action for this complaint and also i want to know the toll free customer care number.

        I think Airtel takes special care to try much hard as they can to harass a customer until he Stops using Airtel.


        I took a new Airtel 3D datacard Dongle connection on November 25th, It was activated on 27thPlan as told by representative was for Rs.675 i get 3.15 GB free and after usage of 3.15 GB free usage o[censored]pto Rs.2000 bill cap based on 2paise /100 kb


        As per Airtel representative, the summary of the plan was that for a price of Rs.675 I get a usage of 13.25 GB for upto 7.1MBps speed
        LBut my connection was limited to 20 KBPS after usage of about 9GB. When contacted to customer care, they told a different story about the plan. They said its 9GB max for that plan.

        I just let it go and requested for plan change on 27th Dec. [Service Request number 41265103] Plan activated on 30-Dec-2011


        New plan suggested by the customer care representative was 1099 plan
        1099 plan upto 5GB free + free usage of till Rs.4000 Total 32GB.

        LBut after activation I came to know from Airtel mail support that it was wrong plan info. And according to them, below is the correct plan.

        Type: Standard Plan
        Rental: Rs.1099/- (Prorate)
        Free Data: 5 GB
        Validity: 30 days
        Bill Shield Value: upto 32.67 GB will be charged Rs.4000/-.

        But just after 3 days, the 4th day morning my speed was reduced to 20 KBPS. Pathetic. When called to customer care, they said I've exceeded 32Gb in 3 days.

        LIt was shocking to me because even the Airtel software on my lap shows usage of 1.83GB only.



        Another funny thing is that since I took this connection they have never delivered a single bill to my registered address. When contacted, they said its delivered and someone signed on it. But I didn't get it yet.

        And now in the 2nd month of this Airtel postpaid connection, my pending amount is Rs.3500!!!!!

        1st month plan: 675 - 3.15Gb free, plus Rs.2000 free.
        2nd month plan: 1099 - 5GB free 4000 bill cap.

        But the unpaid bill now: Rs. 3500+

        LFor the 2nd month i have only used 1.83GB yet in the 4th day of plan activation. But they're accusing me o[censored]sing 32GB and charged me like HELL!!

        No updates on multiple service requests raised since Dec-7th.
        Below are the latest service requests raised. old ones I don't have info but none of them have been resolved or contacted me.

        from 05-Dec-2011 to 30-Dec-2011 Plan was Rs.675

        And from 30-Dec-2011 to Till now 4 days Plan was 1099. For which I have only used 1.93GB

        But when I contacted they said that my unpaid bill amount is 3500!!! WTH?? For only 4 Days??? I need an explanation.

        Airtel Broadband — Airtel Broadband Cheating in Bill Amount

        Hi,

        Last 3 months im using airtel broadband connection out of which lot of complaints like internet is not working most of the time because of this i asked them to remove the connection they agreed and they said it will take around 10 days to remove the connection they agreed after some day like after 20 days i checked at the time internet is working and i asked about the status through email, at the time customer care executive told please retain the connection and gave assurance that there will not be problem anymore and after some day im getting below 1 mbps.That problem also recently solved.Now they are charging for those days which they are not removed the connection.

          Sir / Madam,

          I like to bring it to your notice that the bill generated for the period Nov 26th , 2011 - Dec 25,2011 was generated against the plan 4Mbps / 999 . But the speeds I have received are not more than 2.3 Mbps . I was receiving the same speeds in the previous plan before migrating i.e 2 Mbps/ 699.

          Also while placing a request for migration I was told by the customer care executive that the plan will be activated from Dec 26th 2011 as the request raised was not 5 days prior to the billing cycle . But to my surprise when I speak to the customer care executive offlate they claim the plan migrated on 27th Nov 2011 which in my case is not true . I have captured the results during the stated period from speedtest.net and I can share it across to the concerned if needed.Also There was no communication from Airtel Team regarding the completion of migration as promised at the time of request. Such actions lead to mistrust on the part of airtel with the customers in this competitive world.

          Please Clarify the query on the bill generated. Thanks in Anticipation.

            Dear Sir this is my second complain in the consumer complaint as for past 1month I'm facing this problem of call drop. My service provider Airtel is unable to provide any solace to the above problem as I've also written several mails to them.
            This is becoming an nightmare for me as I'm entering 2012 without any solution to my problem.
            It seems as if they are not bothered to look into the matter as it is out of their hands.
            I request u to take up the matter on the highest level of Air tel.

            airtel communication — Do Not Call List

            Hi Team

            I have been registered under the DNC and I have been receiving calls and promotional messages, I have marked a lot of complaints to the service provide and every time they woul take the number of the concerned and thats it, I think they expect me to take down each and every number of the caller and inform.
            There are about millions if telemarketers and service provider in our country and each time do I have to report ? there is no end for this

              Hi Friends, I lost Rs.195 Booster pack. I have recharged with Rs.195 Booster for my mobile. After 5 minute my dad also recharge again the same number for Rs.97. They took the 97 Rs. Booster. They are not considering about the previous Top-up. When I am asking regards the same to customer care, they are not responding correctly.

                Hai i am spartan. If customer care not respond send mail to nodal officer and inform by mistake i clicked game so my charges disputed, i need waiver for this. Then sure they will give you. Try it its spartan information and airtel is good service provider. More over dont click flashing advertisements. And keep mobile office settings as default. By spartan

                      Already spoke to your customer care many times...... but no solution whenever i call everytime they say ' that due to some technical problem our sites not working so you can call after some time' !!

                      The problem is - 3-4 months ago i don't know how a RTCLUB is activated, Then i called up Airtel customer care they given me no. to deactivate it - I called up that no. but there was just two options 1-to proceed further & 2-to move out of this menu. I dissconnected the call as there was nothing to proceed. So, for last 3-4months I am in between your customer care & the problem every month there's a deduction of 30.00 Ruppes from my account towards that RTCLUB.

                      Last week i called your customer care complaining about this the guy there given me a no. call on this & the RTCLUB would be deactivated, I called up that no. again there was just two options 1-to proceed further & 2-get out of this menu , then i pressed option 1 & the IVR said 'Thank you for activating RTCLUB you'll be charged ruppes 30.00' & again the RTCLUB is activated in my no. I also have the msg sent from airtel side in regards to this.Then again i called up airtel customer care regarding this problem so the guy from customer care said I am sending Email for this that the RTCLUB would be deactivated in next 48hours & you'll get a msg for deactivation. Then 3rd day i again called your customer care asking for solution because i haven't recevied any message, then the girl from other side said some technical problem in the site call later.

                      Now tell me how many times do i need to chase you guys just to get solved out this thing !!
                      I am really irritated from your services specifically from your customer care department - never solves the problem instead of that increases it ....

                      I activated GPRS and MMS on my Nokia 6080 phone a couple of weeks ago but for the past few days, the services are disconnected. If i try calling up the customer care number, i'm directed to send an sms complaint. This hasn't worked till now. How do i set things straight if the customer care does not comply. Also i have not been able to view an mms sent to me by a friend. Their website offers no help, instead calls my number invalid. I'm very upset with Airtel now.

I am sorry to say that in spite of repeated request from the last one year as well as your Bathinda Branch lodged complain numbers of time against Phone No 543212, [protected] sending message towards gita service and devotion alert are charging their monthly subscription without my concent. Kindly arrange to stop them immediately, failing which either I had to stop using this sim or file a suit in consumer form.

                      I have spoke with min 10-15 customer care people from 5 months regarding my unwanted messages coming and lodged many complaints also but still its nothing working.
                      I have spoken with managers even but they are useless.
                      I recieve minimum 10 advertisement messages which disturbs me lot.

                      Plz take some action on this.
                      I had registered a compliant at airtel customer care to activate my call waiting service,as its not getting activated from my or other mobile handsets.They had given me the complaint no. on 31/11/2009,then they called me and told me that it's my handset problem,i requested them that i tried this from another handsets also.they had given me one more compliant no. ie 29801993,and promised me to respond on 9/11/2009.but as they are so busy they didnt.now i am calling airtel customer care but i m getting no answers from them,instead a message "please check the no. u have dialled".
                      I am completly dissatisfied with the service.
                      The Airtel has two customer care numbers 121 and 198. For the past one hour I am trying to contact the Customer Care officer but the line is put on hold always with music after the ring. There is no one to supervise these guys and there is no control on them either, it looks like. And there is no other mode of contact with Airtel to make a complaint about CC officers. The quality of service with airtel is going down.

                        I went to New Delhi on 23/11/2011 and I was there till 10/11/2011. When i recharged for talktime on 28/11/2011 but Airtel put that (Rs.102) money in the phone's GPRS account although my phone settings are not set for that & I've never used GPRS from my phone. When I came back to Bhopal Airtel still went on deducting roaming charges on outgoing calls and continues to do the same till date. I'm sick & tired of their services but still if Airtel receives this complaint then please correct it as soon as possible. My ph. no. is [protected]

                        Airtel prepaid mobile — bogus charges

                        my mobile no is [protected] in jamshedpur circle in the state of jharkhand. on my cell how airtel activate diffrence type of scheme i dont know . one scheme known as vaspack service has also among them after my reapidly complaint and reQuest to deactivate for this schem to customer care on [protected] the compaamy has deduct rs 50/- from my prepaid account for the above metion scheme.

                        they also have bard my phone in customer care so i am unable to contact with customer care from my cell.
                        I request you to dactivate my wap service without any delay from my airtel mobile no. [protected].

                        Airtel Mobile Prepaid Service — unknown promotional mobile call & sms

                        I have received messages , calls as and when unncessarily disturbing me and asking me for subscription of songs, games etc. which is unknown to me. whenever I try to call back, no exist tune have heard to me.
                        Also day by day the balance is reducing for such receiving the calls.

                        Airtel Mobile Prepaid Service — Deducting extra SMS charges

                        Airtel is still deducting Rs. 1.50 per SMS outside circle and Rs. 1.00 inside circle even though it has been more than month that my phone is not on roaming. I still can't understand why is such a blunder happening again & again. I just want the service to be normal that is only 50 paisa should be deducted per SMS.                           dear sir,

                          I using this number from ([protected]) last five year this is the second time that air tel mobile charges were wrongly charging form my number in October 2011 first time it happens to then i contacted to customer care center they revert the wrongly charged amount to me.

                          From now around 35 days they are once again charging same call charges from them

                          as per the complaint that i have 1 special 5 number in my contacts as per conditions of the mobile service they have to charge 20 pieces / mint but from last 35 days they are charging as per the normal call charges as normal tariff.

                          i contacted to costumer care center around 15 times in this month to rectify my problem every time they are tell that we will rectify the problem with in 48 hrs of working days but till now it was no response from the air tel mobile center

                            Hi
                            I am having an Airtel DTH.Lat tuseday 22 nd I called up the customer care complaining that my set top box is not working .I am getting an error code of "SM2".The customer care people reset the settop box from their end but it didn't work.They tried 3 times but failed.So I was told that an engineer is going to visit my house and set the alignment of antena for DTH and the issue will be addressed within 5 days.

                            I have never seen such a sloppy work before.Airtel Customer care people speak pathetic english.Half of their sentences made no sence.Till Saturday nobody called up.Then an engineer called up and asked my area pin code.He was arguing that the area pin code is wrong, though i told him several time that in my driving license whatever pin code is there updated to my latest address, i have given the same.

                            Again I called up his office and they gave me another number which is not working.Since then I called up the customer care 10 times, they are unable to resolve the issue.They again assingned it to some other engineer.The story was same.

                            It was so pathetic I was going round and round the customercare, engineer and again customer care.

                            Still the issue is not resolved.I will recommend people not to take Airtel DTH .
                            Today Saturday was the rosolution date for the issue till 3:30 pm , but Airtel people was least bothered to solve it.They had grown up a "don'tcare " attitude towards their customer.

                            One more thing worth noting that the customer care people dont log a complain in their system ,just to avoid and confuse the customer as well that no one can track the same complaint.

                              I'm using air-tel Sim from last 6 months and since then again and again i;m facing problem from your side, some or the other day. and from yesterday there are no signals showing on my cell and its showing that my Sim card registration failed .although 4 to 5 times i have been verifying my registration and i.d.....There is one more complain but i would like to solve my this problem 1st.

                              it seems that SUNIL MITTAL and His team of AIRTEL, wasnt taught by their mothers in their childhood that u must not take anything without taking approval of the owners, as its called STEALING and its a SIN.

                              or may be the company is in dire straits.

                              every saturday my no is debited of 100rs for blackberry service and the funny part is that i am using a micromax handset.i dont understand without giving command how come i am being charged.

                                We villagers of kamata,Kumuli,Gumuda,Narigan...more then 10 gram panchayats of Block-Boriguma friquently face network trouble from airtel company.
                                From october 2011 Tarabhatta airtel tower couses immanence network problem.More then 50thousand people use airtel sim in our area.Most of the time we face network failure problem,network friquenty cut during calling,and internet access posible only near tower.Airtel customer care don't understand and dont take any steps to solve our problem.
                                HENCE WE REQUEST HIGHER AUTHORITY TO SOLVE THIS PROBLEM WITH IN 15 DAYS BY ELIGIBLE ENGINIEER.OTHER WISE WE DO A CONSUMER CASE ON AIRTEL COMPANY.

                                  I have been using Airtel prepaid mobile service for the past 2 months.
                                  I have top'd-up several times with the provider, only to find that the offer is a total scam and rip-off.
                                  I get a text message saying I would get full talk time and the base plan would not change.
                                  I have a Rate-cutter to keep the costs down where the Texts are free and the calls are supposed to be charged less.
                                  I do not seem to get any of the mentioned service. Lately I've been getting charged for the Texts at 1 rupee each.
                                  I'm getting all the more frustrated with the service provider as I don't EVER seem to get connected to the customer services.
                                  For the record I have literally lost Hours trying to speak with a Customer services personal.
                                  service, Rip-off, Total scam and very very substandard service provider.
                                  With this rate I shall be changing Providers or take up a new Connection.
                                  I blame myself for choosing them at the first place.
                                  Good luck to the ones who are stuck with this Crappy Mobile service provider.

                                    My subscriber id is [protected].I recharged my Airtel Digital TV accout with icici netbanking option on 31st Dec 2011.The amount was 550.On completion of transaction I was redirected to an error page where it showed that transaction unsuccessful due to technical reason.Then I made one more transaction of 550 with my SBI netbanking option.I got the same error messege again.Then after few minutes I opened my account and both the transaction amount is reflecting there where as during transaction it showed that transaction is unsuccessful.

                                    Now I want to cancel the second transaction and get the money back in my account as I did this just because of the error message.With the same request I called customer care and they are not ready to cancel the secod transaction and give money back!!

                                    This is because of their technical issue I tried recharging second time where as my requirement was only one time transaction.Please look into the issue so that I get money back for second transaction.
                                    You have provided 49 Rs for first 550 recharge and didnot give 49 for the second one.Is it joke or what!!
                                    By the way how long do u take to refund money.I just checked the FB page .For every request you have written same thing i.e. you are looking into it.Not a single post shows that you have really solved someones concern.I shall wait till next week and if I don't get the refund I shall escalate this to higher level!!
                                    The issue is still not resolved..
