Airtel people are activating the various packs like:movie pack, sms pack,hello tune,caller tunes,mms and various other packs without the consent of the concerned customer..They say that even if we open the msg the pack gets activated automatically,but my question is without opening the msg how do we get to know who's msg is it?So this only means that they are purely cheating the customers..There are many older people or rather you can say people who are not used to operating the mobile phones and some cannot even check their msgs,so they dont even realise that some pack has got activated and their amounts are getting deducted.They are under the impression that their balance is reducing due to their large phone calls where as their amounts are getting deducted on such packs which they are not even aware of..
When we call the customer care they initially say that they cant refund the amt,later when you shout at them or threaten them they agree for a refund.But when people call up and complaint and are soft enough with them they just do not cater to them and neither refund them the amt.
It has practically happened with me for almost 4 times and everytime its the same story.I have come across nearly 15 people facing the same prob and who have not even been refunded with the amt..I've spoken to many of the supervisors there including the Zonal manager.
Its just fooling around with the customers and cheating them...
Plz let me know what can be done how to help others in the same matter.at the earliest.

    Airtel – IPTV 999 Plan

    Airtel (Emails) Ref No: 4287356, STD Code: 011
    In Jan 2011, I subscribed Airtel's Magic 999 Unlimited 512 kbps Plan (Rental Rs 999 pm). First, I underwent harrowing experience getting it installed, taking leave on the appointed day without result and dealing with semi-literate so-called managers of Airtel. The installation staff, however, was reasonably good.
    Anyway, on prompting by their marketing telecallers team, I agreed to try the higher 1099 Unlimited 2 MBPS Plan (Rental Rs 1099 pm) on their assurance that I could revert to the 999 Plan any time later. On my request, they confirmed, vide their email dated 19 September 2011, to resume the 999 Plan from 11 October 2011 and also informed the Plan details.
    When I found that the 999 Plan had not been resumed, I reminded them vide my email dated 16 October 2011 and many times later. Their Customer Care executives (again some semi-literate types) would inform that the Plan 999 had been withdrawn, with a stock reply without caring to read the contents of my mails. I have since taken up the matter with their nodal and then appellate authorities. They also have the same stock reply. The relevant excerpts from their two mails are given below:
    1. Airtel’s email dated 19 Sept 2011:
    "We understand that you have requested for change of bill plan from 1099 2 Mbps and 256 kbps IPTV Plan to Magic 999, UNLIMITED 512 KBPS PLAN, for your airtel account.
    The request has been registered with us with the reference number 4287356 and the same will be effective from next bill cycle date[protected].
    2. Airtel’s email dated 25 November 2011:
    "As per telephonic conversation, we regret to inform you that, as per reference number 4287356, the 999 IPTV plan has been already withdrawn in the month of September 2011 available."
    In fact, it is a lie that Airtel have withdrawn the 999 Plan, as it has been still working in case of another connection taken by us simultaneously. I was informed of the resumption of this Plan in September itself. They should have therefore resumed it in my case.
    They must be raking in millions by trapping the helpless customers, first in lower tariff plan and just a few months later, prompting them for higher tariff plan with option to go back to the earlier Plan. If Airtel can telephone the customers individually for joining a different Plan, they should as well telephone at least the converted customers, who had fallen for that Plan, informing about withdrawal of the original Plan, especially when they had promised for any time switching back.
    I therefore request Airtel to care for their image and honour their commitment.

      Hi,

      I am an Airtel customer with mobile no "[protected]". Yesterday, I received a message from airtel as mentioned below:

      "Thank you for choosing ALLNEWS, you will be charged Rs1 everyday. To stop service Dial *789*895#

      I haven't request them to activate any such service. The customer care is claiming that I have n't responded to stop the service to this message and so it's get activated.

      First of all, I requested for DND service, but still kind of ads are coming and also they are activating such service without me requesting and also deducting money from account.

      They are not showing any proof that I requested for such service.

      I talked to cusomer care few times, here is my reference no:
      1. CBDCC[protected]
      2. I called today at 13/11/2012 9:50 AM, the customer care(Mr.Sundarraj) didn't gave me reference no, but he told rudely, that I will get a message, but I haven't received yet.

      Also, the sad part is the airtel customer care keep me on hold for 2 mins and they will charge for the same. Again my money is getting deducting for their mistakes.

      Please do the needful to stop airtel doing such cheap tricks.

      PS:
      I sincerely request TRAI to make a guideline to make the customer service free.

      But today, these ads from "50000" coming back to me again today. I received a message at 11:11 AM on 15/02/2012 and money is getting deducting w/o my request to activate this service.

      Please do the needful to stop these services again.

      I dont know, why airtel is causing so much inconvenience to its customers.

        i am balmit singh using airtel no [protected].
        1. on 12/01/2012 at 2:30 am two pack was activated(airtel radio) an a amount of rs 20 + 5 = 25 was dected from main balance...... it is automaticaly activated
        2. i make a call to costomer care they returned my money.
        3.AGAIN AFTER SOME TIME MY SAME AMOUNT(RS 25) DETECTED AUTOMATICALY .
        I WANT MY MONEY BACK as soon as posible.
        NOTE:
        activation of any pack automaticaly is very same full........ it FORCE TO SWITCH TO OTHER SURVICE PROVIDER.

        Airtel — Regarding Wrong detection of money

        I used to activate mobile office service offered by airtel through my nokia mobile[protected]. This is for connecting to internet via mobile. I have followed the procedure as recommended by airtel:

        1) Dial *567#
        2) Select option 2 - This refers to the offer of Rs.10 rental for 100MB for a single day.
        3) Select option 1 - To confirm the previous selection.

        After these steps, I used to receive a message from airtel which assures me to avail the facility. But, when I check the balance, everytime they used to detect Rs.20 whereas the actual rental for the aforesaid facility is only Rs.10.

        I had already raised this issue for about 20 times with airtel customer care and complaint service. They always try to convince me saying that I have activated the service for 2 times, which is not true.

        I hope there is some technical discrepency in this case due to which they are detecting Rs.20 wrongly everytime. But they are not ready to accept this fact or lodge any technical complaint for this issue.

        Hence, I request you to accept this complaint and take necessary actions to get a permanent solution for this problem.
        For me they have deducted Rs 200 at a strecth. See similar complaints. This indicates they are doing this robbery as a policy

          This is to highlight that a premier and esteemed company like AIRTEL is well expected to be above average in their customer care, but to my surprise its absolutely below standard.
          I have been using Airtel since quite some time now and have very recently found out that the service sector and servicing sector of the very co. are deprecating in their quality aggressively.
          My no is [protected] and it has been activated with Daily Fashion Update, where by Rs. 2/ day is being deducted from my account and also Rs. 1 for special tariff. The customer care complaints have been unanswered even on several trials.
          Please take some serious action and make sure that the unnecessary balance which has been cut is debited in my account at the earliest possible.
          I had a word with your Mr. Debashis Deb on 28th Dec-11, who had promised me to deactivate the service since 31st Dec my customer reference no. is CBDCC[protected].
          Don't force me to go to Consumer Forum.

          I purchased a Post Paid connection under special oofer for Government Employees with exclusive 150 adv. rent at Rs. 799/- fro two years. the connection was given to me with Number : [protected], on13.07.2007. I started the phone on 15.08.2007 and discarded my another phone after this phone was activated. two days later i started getting messages thatI cannot make phone calls from this number due to non payment of bills.

          after making many request to the agent Mr. Iqbal singh : [protected], i came to know on 21.08.07 that my verification has not been confirmed and has failed. i made many calls to the customer care service to find out the reason but to no anvil.

          even the staff at the customer care misbehaved with me specially. Mr. Suryakant [protected], and the manager on duty on 22.08.2007 between 6.00 --- 6.30 P.M.

          on 22.08.07 bet. 3.00 --- 4.00 p.m I got two sms messages confirming the payment of Rs. 799/- yet the phone has not been activated.

          I AM REALLY FEELING CHEATED, helpless and sorry to opt for this company.

          I have till date 23.08.07 11.am.. not got my hone activated and is unable to use the phone.

          The kind of harassment I am going though is difficult to explain and no body is ready to listen to me even the agent and Mr. Suryakant do not pick up the phone.

          On 23.08.07 I was assured by Mr. Vipin (Manager H.R.) [protected] that my phone will be operational after 11.30. but still I am waiting for the same and getting the same message that I cannot make calls for not making the payment of Bills.

          I want to know if the verification of a SENIOR CLASS -I Gazetted Officer of the Rank of a Deputy Secretary in min o[censored]rban Development has failed even after submitting the 1. Identity card issued by Min. of Home Affairs and
          2. Driving License and the
          3. Bills as required by the person visiting the residence has failed what other proof can satisfy the Company.

          I am really very sorry for the state of service and the response by the service provider.

          I strongly recommend that the persons at fault should be punished so that they do not harass other in future.

          This clearly shows that the company is not interested in issuing me phone connection than why in the first instance they have got the cheque encashed. Now I am not interested in keeping this line. My money should be refunded to me immediately.

          It seems that the SIM has gone defective of its own while in normal use which was varified by your service engineer. If you feel that the same SIM can be made serviceable then please suggest me the proper solution otherwise arrange to replace it with new SIM card with out charging cost from me.
          I would like to hear from you very soon with satisfactory solution as this is hampering my regular work.

          I have recharged with Rs. 50/- night pack on 10.06.2008 the pack is not working properly. I have tried to communicate with customer care executive but my customer care services was blocked and lastly i have sent several messages to 121 but till date no solution have done.Thenafter I consulted with a retailer and he has also called to 121 they reply that my no.[protected] have local call balance is remain but is not true.           This is regarding delay in closure of my Airtel postpaid account.

          I moved to Delhi from karnataka on 23rd Jan and raised a request for closure of my account on 27th Jan 09. Followed which i constantly getting in touch with [protected]@airtel.in for getting the account closed. I even called Airtel karnataka customer care from STD many times but everytime they are saying we are under process and giving me dates in interval of 15days to resolve the issue.           On 9th May 09, I have received a message from 57070 that, "Kindly note your IM service would be renewed in 3 days. You will be charged Rs.50/month towards renewal. To unsubscribe SMS unsub to 57070."

          I have sent a message unsub to 57070, but again i received reply that " We are sorry but you are currently not registered for the mobile Airtel Messenger service."

          Again & again i'm receiving messages from Airtel, costing for nothing..., How can charging me without registration??????
          I don't want these services & i have not activated any service..

          Airtel mnagement cheating the coustamer by miss lead through ivr.In ivr they given that 152Rs. full talktime, but they are given 135 only. when asking coustamer care they answer as offer over, if offer over why they are advertise through ivr.
          I have rasied request for broadband reactivation. Its been 14days and til lnow I am not able to get any update on that.
          When I am trying to cal lon their customer care to know the status which is[protected] they say that its marketing department and talk rudely.
          I have enquired my status nthis number only for last several times.
          they do not know how to deal with their customers. Its frustrating and nobody listens to complaints.

          I had taken a new Airtel 3g sim and was expecting it to be activated by next day. But due to carelessness and as a result of poor customer service from the staff of kamnahalli Airtel office, bangalore, I had to visit their office around 5 times and had to wait around 1 week and in the end they coundnt activate 3G on my sim and I had to order for another sim. I didn't receive any refund for the recharge I made on my old sim and wasted my time and money..later that week went there for taking broadband. After receiving the money for the package, the office Staffs were least bothered about whether you receive the modem or connection.when you call them they wash their hands off by giving some lame excesses. The staffs even don't take the call when you try to reach them..I have never seen such a worst case of customer service..Airtel is the worst so far..I wil never recommend Airtel to anyone..stupid service and useless staffs!!
          This is regarding the poor customer care service of Airtel DTH.

          I called Airtel Customer care on 21/03/2011 for activating Movies Now HD and Discovery HD. They told me that re-allocation of Dish is required for activating these channels and the service will be done within 2 days.

          But no body turned up for the service. After 1 week i person called me asking about my house location. I thought that the wait is finally over. But again nobody came. I again called the customer care and they have assured me that they will do the re-allocation of dish with in 2 days !!

          but till now (05/04/2044) nobody attended the problem.

          I am very disappointed by the service of Airtel DTH.

          I am Airtel DTH customer for last 1 and half years and was happy with your service, but now i feel like cheated. On Feb of this year my set top box got failed for no reason [ was not used for 15 days], i got it replaced after paying 600Rs to the service guy, after which i came to know from your customer care that the actual value of Set Top box is only 350rs not 500, on my complaint Airtel team has refunded Rs350 not 500/-, Even now i don't want to make this an issue. My Major complaint is, on 14th, i have upgraded my plan from South Mega to South Ultra after which i am finding that many of existing channels are missing [Like 570/571/575/572] . From you team i came to know that i need to pay extra for viewing it which is not acceptable. Before opting for upgrade i got it confirmed that customer care team that none of my existing channels will be removed and new channels like WB/Movies Now/Ten Sports etc will be added. I want to roll back my upgrade to my older plan with immediate effect or activate my missing channels at no extra cost. My Cust ID is: [protected]. I tried contacting customer care many time for roll back of plan for which i got negative response, infact the customer care team is disconnecting the calls.The same details has been mailed to customer care team/KK Nodal officer
          Please rename your south ultra pack as it doesn't make any sense.

          i am using airtel connection for the last 4 years. i was using the connection with no issues. recently i panned to switch to some other service provider. suddenly i got a call from airtel customer care with lot of offers . Then i planned to continue with airtel. but when ever i recharge after that some money will be taken from my account. I called Customer Care they told me they had activated some offer and they will decatative that offers and will refund my money and refunded rs50 for that. Now when ever i recharge for rs 30 it will show SERVICE CLASS VAILATION. Today(25/6/2011) i recharged for rs 50 but i got only rs 30. i dont knw what to do and also i cannot contact customer care from my number...

          if i am not getting any solution i will stop using airtel

          my problems are not yet solved. i bought some flexi coupon for rs 30 and when ever i recharge with that card it is showing as "SERVICE CLASS VIOLATION" and recharge is not done.. i told this problem to customer care on 25/6/2011. do you have solution for that??

          You told you have resolved all the problems, can you able to refund all the amount which have been deducted from my account before. you will get the details of how much amount have been deducted till now.. solve all these problem and put the above message...
          Customer care of Air tel Dth is worst

          I have recently purchased Airtel DTH connection, I would never recommend to have Airtel DTH connection. They are totally non responsive when attention to fault is there. After sale of set top box their installation is badly delayed. You have to spend good amount of energy and time with them to get the things done. There is no connection Between the person who is selling you set top box along with collection of full amount of installation charge and the agency who is doing installation. Their service personnel are totally discourteous. They misbehave also. Their installation charges are high and over that they will collect good amount for cable cost, which they will never tell you at the time of purchase of set top box. I suffered a lot at the time of purchase and still suffering as video is out in my DTH and There no signal in it since 22/02/12. Despite repeated complaint they are not responding. I will be thankful to a person who can tell me the procedure to get my money back which I spent for DTH installation so that I can opt for some other service provider. Some of the emails which I sent them are appended below to enlighten other users also.

          Despite repeated complains nobody is attending to video fault in my DTH Transmission . On 24/02/2012 I called one Telugu knowing person to lodge complain through phone also. Till today nothing has been done. I will be highly obliged if you return my money which I spent for this Digital TV connection so that I can opt for some other service provider.

          Your servise personel has collected the the extra money on 20/02/2012 ( copy of Reciept enclosed) for which I was not informed at the time of purchase.

          I also requested you to kindly inform me about the action taken by you to redress the issue of service concernswhich you have not been addressed by you till now.

          Afterafter adjustment of installation of HD connection on 20/12/2012 by your service personel (while collecting the extra money), the transmission of dth got disrupted on 22/02/2012. I contacted the same person again to rectify the defects, He said that he will be rectifying the defect but he did not turn up. I again tried to contact him on 23/02/2012, he did not pick up the phone despite repeated calls. Because you have not left any option for me but to manage with same un responsive person, I am repeatedly subjected to poor customer service.Your customer care number gives pre recorded information in Telgu which I am unable to understand. Because of your poor service I have to spent lot of time in getting the issues resolved. Now I am planning to seek legal remedy to redress my grievances because you are not paying any attention to my repeated requests.

          You have also not informed me about the procedure to discontinue your service and getting my money back including the installation and cable charges.This issue You are not replying despite my repeated requests.

The response from customer care was very poor and they have took a complaint but no response for that. even though SMS booster was active they charged money from my account for sending SMS(They took another complaint for this, like always they will never come back to the end user to solve the complaint). I am filling this complaint after undergoing many such incidents with airtel. Kindly please look into the issue so that this will not happen to others. Thanks.

          I have called Airtel customer care 121 & complaint center 198 a number of times for poor m-check services. From the past 5 months I am not able to use my m-check services from my mobile (thru Airtel Live) properly. I am not able to recharge any amount thru m-check. After calling cust. care, their responses not helped me. Even when I tried to port my number due to all this, a call from Customer care executive came to me & assured me that mine complaint will be resolved in 2 days. But all this was of no use. Plz help.             airtel bharti telecom — sim deactivation...

            sir,
            my name is amit kumar jangid.i'm a costumer of airtel prepaid now.
            i buy a postpaid no. [protected] in nov. 2009.
            after 6-7 months,i converted it into prepaid rani bazar,bikaner off..
            that time i submit my original doc.'s copies myself,
            on 20th july night my sim was blocked,
            when i call the cost. care they said submit your doc. again in 7 days,
            22th July i submit my doc. in morning on bikaner amit comm. uit.
            on same day in night they closed my sim permanently & when i call costumer care
            they said sim closed & reason is zero uses when i have receive & make 30-50 call
            per day.....airtel have no solid proof.
            when i investigate reason found that when i covert sim into prepaid the airtel uit forgot
            the stamp that put on doc.they did mistake & i'm blamed.
            what is that,i ready to submit my doc, again & again but they said your no will not
            activate again.why i blamed when i'm did't have single mistake.
            i have all ebill on my id.

            airtel bharti telecom — improper handling of customer requests

            dear sir/mam

            im a resident of bangalore and ive initated a termination request of my airtel mobile broadband bearing account number 15052247 on may 21,2011 by calling to 121 toll free number, as airtel couldnt transfer my existing connection to the new residence whcih im shifting to. They have said that the termination request will be processed with in a week. However no one turned up or called me on further proceedings reg termination


            However next month i received bill for may-june'11. when i called the customer care theyve said the connection is still active and they would like to reassure the confirmation of termination. ive re-confirmed on the termination and cleared the due there off. But the conection never got terminated by airtel. i keep receiving bills now and then. frequent calls regardding payment of dues frustates me.

            ive approached many ways to inform airtel on the issue im facing but no action was taken on this.

              During my stay in Bangalore I used to use Airtel post paid mobile connection bearing no. [protected]. I have always made my bill payments in time despite the fact that Airtel connectivity, specially on the outskirts of the city was extremely poor. After I decided to move cities in October 2011, I sought the disconnection of this number. However the connection continued to stay alive. After I moved to Goa I continued to use the connection for a while, however the connectivity and network was so poor that the phone could only be used as a paperweight. Everytime I received a call from Airtel I brought this to the notice of its customer service representative but each time the conversation ended with a promise to rectify the problem.

              Now two months later I have obtained the connection of another service provider and I am quiet content with the quality of service provided. However one Mr. Anand from Airtel's so called "legal department", Bangalore keeps calling me and my husband from a number [protected] asking us to make the payment of an outstanding amount of Rs. 8,500/- for the period of October 1, 2011 to November 31, 2011.

              I fail to understand on what basis Airtel is firstly asking for the payment despite of me having asked for a disconnection and repeatedly informing them of extremely poor service. Further, these people from the legal department are brash and extremely rude. The kind of tone and language used is unspeakable. Suffice is to say that they are extremely uncouth people with absolutely no civic sense. I would have had no problem making the payment if the Airtel's representatives were polite, humble and acknowledged that Airtel has been slack in providing services. However, instead of being apologetic, the representatives threatened me and my husband with dire consequences!! After speaking to a few of my friends I realized that this is a common practice which Airtel uses with its every other customer.

              I think its about time this stopped, specially since the harassment has reached a stage where it is humanly impossible for us to deal with these completely uncivilized people who claim they are from the “legal department”. I need help, urgently. Please.

                i am Shatruhan kumar and using Airtel mobile number is [protected].i have re problem,on 11th January a new service activate airtel tv and cut 3 rupees and next day(12th January) reduce 20 rupees,then i talk to CCE ,but he said me that system is upgrading so you call me later for your problem.but as i know only three times can talk to cce. I don't know why Airtel start this service on my mobile because i am using Airtel DTH(HD) service on my tv(cus.id[protected]. Re ennoying airtel..how can a consumer stay with Airtel????? If thease type of problem facing many times..

                  I have taken a new prepaid connection on bharathi airtel services in December 2011.with mobile number '[protected]'.After some days I have received a call from one of the Airtel person. He Just asked my name.I told him that my name is Raghavendra(SHORT NAME).He has told that this number is using by some other person and we are going to disconncet this airtel connection within 24 hours(I have provided my passport copy for the address proof and my name look like 'JAMILI NAGA VENKATA KRISHNA RAGHAVENDRA RAO').after telling that he didn't even asked any other details ).I tried to reach him more than 10 times.He didn't pick the call.Then i called to the airtel customer care and explained the situation happened ,then they have checked the details and informed me that my outgoing calls are not barred and we are not going to disconnect your connection(everything is fine on your number).After almost a month three days back again i have received a message stating that your airtel connection will be disconnected in 24 hours from now and yesterday they barred my outgoing calls.Then i have called more than 5 times to customer care and even went to the airtel showroom today and explained my issue and i need to activate my outgoing calls spoke with 121 and as well as one of the senior manager of Airtel services,there each one is telling some thing something which is irrelavent to my issue and not even helped to solve my issue and they said like within a week or so our outgoing calls will also be barred and the number will be recycled.

                  If the documents submitted by me is the problem,I am ready to submit the relavent documents(what ever the documents you require) again and I need this number to be activated with an immediate effect and respectice action should be taken on the concerned person who called me for the verification process,as he didn't even mentioned this cal is regarding your verification or so.Treat this as an high priority issue as I have updated this new number to my office,friends and relatives adn even From 31st of December iam facing signal problem in my office and in my home also ,after 20 Seconds the call is disconnecting by itself and showing as connection error.Please consider this compliant as high priority

                    From last 3 months the Bharti Airtel Ltd.was Cut my Balance under Different Scams with out Any Information. The Scams are not suitable with my image. I will Gave So many Complains But there is no Response From them.                     AIRTEL PREPAID MOBILE CARD — balance cut without any reason

                    I don't know what is the problem with my number but on 20th march 2011 at 12:40am there are sequence of BALENCE CUT running on my number ( details are as Below )

                    at 12:40 am at night i call to customer care but no one was attain my call, after 3 times try, the call was attained by mr. kaurav patel, it was also delay to attain about 5 minutes after i call & it was charge me 1: 00/- rs
                    but he was not able to answer me that, why that balance is continuance cut from my number.

                    ALSO DURING THE TALK WITH CUSTUMERCARE MY CUTTING OF BALENCE IS CONTINUANCE

                    then he transfer the call to supervisor, he attain the call at 1:00 am but the transferring the call to supervisor was also take 6 minutes which is charge me 1.00/- rs
                    he check my account & found some problem but he did not tell me why the balance was cut.
                    He stop that sequence of balance cut on my number & told me that. my balance ( 86.62/-) will refund on 22nd of march Because 21th of march is holiday. my call end at 1: 11 am he was take 11 minutes for understand my problem.

                    & he gave me ref.no CBDCC[protected]

                    on 22nd of march I call again the customer care with mr. Mathukya Mahesh at 10:50am. He told me that balance will refund in 24 hours, but no any balance was refund.
                    then i was recive one message form 121 is -- Thank you for connecting airtel your request refrence number is CBDCC[protected].

                    on 23rd of march I call again the customer care at 11:00 am. & i tell them to refund my balance , but then the call was transfer to supervisor but no one was attain that transferred call & i Hearer only the music of airtel about 6 minutes then call was disconnect.

                    then i call again But no any supervisor can attain my call & after 10 minutes of hearing of music call was again disconnect. & the both call was charge me 3.00/- rs my balence is now 0.38/- rs & i can not able to call customer care .

                    please do need full For refund my balance as soon as possible.

                      I have an airtel landline/dsl since 2005 but I have been having constant disturbance on my line. As these were not rectified, I bought an airtel sim card and gave as my verification details - a copy of my passport, my driving licence and airtel landline number. I also put an additional recharge of Rs 500. (mobile no [protected]) packed Nov 2011 - activated on 20.12.2011. Further, I got a verification call in which I verified all the details. A few days later, I found my number blocked and I was asked per mobile to verify my account, I did so but it was not actiivated. I called again and the lady started misbehaving and started asking me my 'marital details'. This is a sheer breech of privacy. Finally I got someone on the line who activated my calls.
                      Yesterday suddenly my sim was blocked saying that it could not be verified. This is all the more absurd as I had earlier received a payment alert from airtel regarding my landline/dsl though I had not registered my number. Subsequently Icalled the customercare for mobiles but 3 times the phone was put down on me.

                      Finally I called up several other numbers and got the following [protected] (nodal officer Vikrant Pandey. I spoke to a Mr Vijay who said the problem would be immediately rectified. He gave me a REF No: F[protected] and siad I should dial 46081111. I called there and gave them the Ref. They said they could do nothing and that I should call up yet another number [protected]. There I spoke to a Ms Nasim who said that the reason the verification had failed is that the number was to be in the name of a Sunita devi. Therefore I should resubmit my documents to the Relationship Centre and it would be immediately activated. I went to the Centre and the man started misbehaving and when I asked him for his name, he refused to give it. Furthermore he threatened me and told the others that they should make sure the problem was not rectified. He then said it was the fault of the dealer. I subsequently went to the dealer who showed and gave me back the form that had been filled in which clearly shows my name, my landline number and all my documents attested. No reason had been given by airtel as to why the papers were returned. This is pure cheating and a SCAM.

                      I am simply disgusted for I have been a client with Airtel since 2005. Each and every bill has been paid on time.

                      The landline and DSL service has completely deteriorated. The aspect of customercare constantly putting down the phone, giving me appointments on which their engineers will come is not met.

                      As a professional, I have lost work time.

                      As a professional woman, I have been abused and asked about my private life.

                      As an old customer, I have been treated as dirt.

                          We was an old connection(Connection A/c No.[protected] of Airtel at our D-12, Okhla Phase 1, site, in which we were using 3333 plan & need some minor changes but Bharti Airtel never make it possible & replied us that your connection is standalone type(Data Line). But that connection we get with voice & data. I was surprised and ask them that how they make it possible (a plan which only comes in data & voice run only data line).

                          They suggested us to surrender the old connection & purchase a new one. Before surrender my old connection I am informed the Bharti Airtel nodal officer that after surrender, I want same static ip (122.176.35.195) used in old plan in this new connection but their executive told us that is a chargeable service and changes charge is Rs. 2500/-. I doesn't understand that old static ip is free because of we surrender the connection & static ip. Bharti Airtel was bind us to surrender the old plan.

                          The above issue is raise due to Bharti Airtel department, We face lots of problem in our official work. But they doesn't want to understand our problem & given assistance. Bharti Airtel only want to earn for any how. This is not the way to serve the commercial clients.

                          Please help me to obtain my old static ip 122.176.35.195 & Close my Service Request 10032596 on urgent basis

                              As per the above complaint no of ID [protected] I inform you despondently that your concern enggineer having Cell No [protected] visit our home at 08.04.2013 to slove the complaint.After enquiring he found the fault in STB and finnally recomded to change the STB.Till date due to unavaibility Of STB he donot change the STB. he is also demanding the money Rs 350.STB is already recharged with Rs 350 How can i pay again which are deducted from my account
                              Please do solve the Issue as soon as possible due to continuity of IPL leage Match.

                                Greetings Airtel,
                                This is a complaint letter from myself regarding my money getting deducted unnecessarily (from my Airtel Prepaid Kerala Account) through some ACTIVE SMS service even though I have not subscribed for any.

                                SMS SERVICE DETAILS (Message Details) :-
                                Sender ID :- AD-97890
                                Type :- Dating
                                Category :- Dating Tips
                                Amt deducted :- One Rupee Per incoming SMS.
                                Last SMS Received :- On 11- JAN - 2011 at 02:47:03 AM

                                Steps already taken from my side :-

                                1) Spoke to an Airtel customer service executive regarding the same and got a *fake
                                confirmation from his side that my problem has been resolved. It may be kindly noted that
                                as per his direction I have also :-
                                1) send stop sms to 121
                                2) made the "Info service" in the massage settings of my handset to "OFF" mode.


                                RESULT :- THE ISSUE STILL EXISTS < Still getting the amt deducting dating tips sms. >


                                2) Spoke to a second Airtel customer service executive (Shamna on 09/Jan/2011) regarding the same and again received a *fake assurance from her side that my problem has been resolved. Request Reference number is CBDSB[protected]

                                RESULT :- THE ISSUE STILL EXISTS < Still getting the "amt deducting dating tips" sms. >

                                3) Spoke to a senior Airtel customer service executive (Aishwarya on 11/Jan/2011) regarding the same. I told her that today morning 02:47:03 AM also I have received the "amt deducting dating tips" sms. But she told me that she cant find any such sms service active for my mobile and hence there is nothing that she can do further.

                                I am using Airtel service for many years. But now a days, I am very sorry to say that its really frustrating and irritating to the core. The commitment, the service and attitude that we receive from the customer care reps are totally horrible. There is no sorry figure, no apologies and not even any respect. The second CSE namley Shamna just kept the phone in between the conversation.

                                I am just astonished to realize that after making such a big mistake nobody from the customer care is not even saying that "I/we am sorry" ya "I/we apologize".


                                I expect the Airtel team to resolve my issue as early as possible and let me know a true conformation from you side regarding the same matter. I hope I get the justice this time with Airtel before making me move towards the consumer court procedures.

                                AirTel — money was deducted unnecessarily

                                i was told by that airtel provides a call rate of 1.50 rs per minute for std but after talking for 5 minutes i found that my 12.32 rs were deducted,,,,on which basis i dont know .another day i got a top up of rs 60 so no money was transacted but only msg came rechare successfully with 60.00 and talktime 0.00 .please pay to the retailer...........

                                  Mobile No: [protected]. I have not activated any MMS service. But i have receiving sms message and deducting 2 Rs from my mobile account. i want to deactivate the same immediately. and return back the same immediatly

                                  I Have already called customer care and informed 6 times and i have sent the message more than 10 times to stop the MMS service subscription for this mobile no.

                                  Why you are begging like this ? You earning profit by begging like this only ah ? How much time one person should call and message for you. Instead of begging like this you can do directly.

                                  There is no words to scold your service ,simply from your side you will activate some other things and deducting money from our side. This is not shame for like this big mobile service provider.

                                  Why you guys doing this begging job like this. I have too much of anger if i call from mobile means simply you omiting the call.


                                  Hereafter if you activate anything for this mobile i will surely call and scold like anything. Thatz sure.
                                  Now the issue resolved
                                  My Friend, please send sms to STOP write and send to 121. And if you seen after short massage. And if you want to stop then only number sent it.

                                    I would like to raise the same complaint for my Airtel prepaid phone number bearing [protected]. Inspite of having sufficient balance I am unable to make calls and I am also getting an automated reply as ‘U HAVE INSUFFICIENT BALANCE TO MAKE A CALL and gets disconnected. I have faced a lot of problems because of it, unable to make important calls at most urgent times.

                                    I tried contacting airtel helpline and even that gets disconnected, because of insufficient balance. It requires a minimum balance of 50paise.
                                    I called up customer care services so many times but nobody is taking the responsibility and no one ready to take up this issue seriously. Sometimes i was put on hold for some 15 min or more than that saying they are transferring this call to somebody else and they never come back. Sometimes they themselves cut off the call.Sometimes they say its a problem with your handset but let me make it very clear to you that i changed my handset last month only. This problem was there even before changing my handset. I told them the same but they do not agree. I am highly disappointed with the way you guys are responding.I am facing a lot of problems because of this.

                                    Please make sure that this doesn’t happen again.

                                    Dear Sir,

                                    I would like to raise a compliant against Airtel in the consumer forum. My Airtel prepaid phone number bearing [protected]. I was having prepaid airtel balance of more than Rs. 40 and sometimes even Rs. 60, Inspite of having sufficient balance I am unable to make calls and I am getting an automated reply as ‘U HAVE INSUFFICIENT BALANCE TO MAKE A CALL, HENCE IT WILL BE DISCONNECTED’ and gets disconnected. I have faced a lot of problems because of it, unable to make important calls at most urgent times. I am extremely unhappy with this happening.

                                    I tried contacting their helpline and even that gets disconnected, because of insufficient balance. It requires a minimum balance of 50paise.
                                    One way they are wrong in claiming that I have insufficient balance and other way they are not even giving me access to raise compliant.

                                    Kindly provide me justice in this matter with proper compensation and making sure that this doesn’t happen again.

                                      I HAVE PORTED FROM VODAFONE TO AIRTEL.
                                      ON THE PORT BEING SUCCESSFUL(1.12.2011) I CALLED IN AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE TO KNOW MY TARRIFF PLAN
                                      THE CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE INFORMED ME THAT I HAD GOT 800 AIRTEL TO AIRTEL FREE MINUTES 5OO SMS AFTER WHICH MY AIRTEL TO AIRTEL CALL CHARGES WOULD BE 10 PAISE PER MINUTE AND AIRTEL TO OTHER MOBILE 60 PAISE PER MINUTE VALID FOR ONE YEAR.
                                      WHEN THE FREE MINUTES WERE OVER I WAS BEING CHARGED @25 PAISE PER MINUTE ON LOCAL AIRTEL CALLS INSTEAD OF 10 PAISE PER MINUTE.
                                      AFTER THIS I CALLED AIRTEL CUSTOMER CARE (ON 1.1.2012) TO ENQUIRE ABOUT THE MATTER AND I WAS TOLD THAT I NEED TO MAKE A COMPLAINT TO THE NODAL AUTHORITY OF AIRTEL.
                                      I MADE A COMPLAINT WITH THE AFORESAID AUTHORITY AND IT WAS ADRESSED BY MISS DEEPIKA ON 3.1.2012 .
                                      THEN ON 9.1.2012 I RECEIVED A CALL FROM AIRTEL SAYING THAT THE MATTER WAS RESOLVED.
                                      I HAD HARDLY HUNG UP THE CALL WHEN I MADE A LOCAL CALL ON AN AIRTEL NUMBER AND I WAS CHARGED @25 PAISE PER MINUTE.
                                      I CALLED UP THE NODAL AUTHORITY OF AIRTEL ONCE MORE TO MAKE A COMPLAINT.
                                      THIS TIME THE COMPLAINT WAS ADDRESSED BY MR. ANIRBAN DEY WHO TOLD ME THAT THERE WAS NO SUCH OFFER FOR CUSTOMERS WHO PORT INTO AIRTEL FROM OTHER NETWORKS AND THAT IT WAS THE MISTAKE OF THE CUSTOMER CASE EXECUTIVE WHO GAVE ME WRONG INFORMATION.
                                      HE ALSO INFORMED ME THAT THE CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE HAD NO AUTHORITY TO GIVE ME INFORMATION ABOUT MY TARRIFF.
                                      MY QUESTION IS WHY SHOULD AN INNOCENT CONSUMER SUFFER FOR A FAULT ON THE PART OF A PERSON WHO ASSUMES THE CHARACTER OF A REPRESENTATIVE OF SUCH A WIDELY USED MULTINATIONAL SERVICE PROVIDER?
                                      THEREFORE ITS MY REQUEST THAT I SHOULD GET THE TARRIFF INFORMED TO ME BY THE CUSTOMER CARE EXECUTIVE FOR THE INFORMED PERIOD.

                                        I would like to bring it to your notice, the issues faced in mnp. I am a user of airtel in pune. I had applied for a porting code on the 28th of december and got the same az139668. I applied with all the documents to vodafone and submitted the port in request on 29th dec. I got a reply from vodafone that I cant port due to contractual obligation for which I contacted airtel and they informed me that I had a cug exclusion enabled on my account which I asked them to discontinue and also remove and company names associated with my account. After I got a confirmation from airtel that all the exclusions are removed and there are no contractual obligations, I resent the request in vodafone on 3rd of january, after which I got a call from airtel's mnp team regarding the port out and they gave me different offers like discounts on rentals and 2 months free gprs which I denied stating that I just need to port out because airtel doesnt have that much speed support on gprs which other providers have. Later I got same reply from vodafone that the request is rejected due to contractual obligation on 5th jan. So called airtel again, they informed that since the mnp team offered you discounts on rentals and offers they have closed your request of port out which I was totally upset about as I had not asked for any discounts or offers, so I asked them to cancel them all and just allow me to port out. I got a reply that there are no subsisting contractual obligations on my account and I can port out. I resent the request on 7th of january the 3rd time and today 10th of january I again got the same response from vodafone that there are contractual obligations. I am totally upset with this service and need some authority to pitch in and resolve
