Let me first mention my fault: I have applied to port out from Airtel and move to Idea Cellular.

Immediately on the next day afternoon after submitting porting application, a lady calls me who says she's from Airtel (caller's landline number is[protected]. She asks me if I wanted to port out of Airtel, after hearing my affirmative answer she asks what documents did I submit to the new operator. To this I reacted by saying I've submitted requisite documents as per guidelines of MNP.

She keeps pressing me to tell her what papers I've submitted to RNO (recipient network operator). Then I politely tell her that look, I've told you that I fulfilled the official formalities as per norms of MNP and it is done at Idea Cellular store in my locality.

Now begins the epic abuse story. She talks to someone nearby, a male voice is heard, they both laugh for a moment, then she gets back to me and in a mocking tone she says and I'm quoting (translating it) ~ "Where did you get Idea? There's no such thing called Idea in Kolkata!"

I was greatly taken aback at this kind of behavior, her voice was so terribly mocking me! I couldn't also understand how Bharti Airtel is underestimating Aditya Birla Group! Then I said, "what do you mean? I've wanted to port to Aditya Birla Group's Idea Cellular and you say there's nothing like that in Kolkata?" Again, she talks to the male person nearby, they laugh again.

Again she gets back to me and this time she says "where did you submit the documents?"; to this I again said that I've already told her I did it at a Idea store. She reverts back to her mockery again, she says "oh please tell me clearly you didn't submit documents at a roadside shop, did you?"

Just imagine the level of disrespect and abuse that was being thrown at me! All this long I was feeling highly tempted to shout back but since at the other end was a lady and true Indians never dishonor a lady, I didn't show any kind of disrespect towards her. But Airtel made me feel highly victimized, for no fault of mine. I just wanted to port out, that's my fault?

NOW, I am reading serious allegations against DNO (donor network operators) all around the web, I am afraid that Airtl is already motivated to reject MNP requests and my porting will also be definitely rejected, specially after this kind of a call. This lady hung up by saying "OK" in a tone which sounded like "you're going to pay for this"...

I am registing this complaint here and I'll post follow-up of next happenings. It seems that giant corporates are in a major killing spree, they're badly attacking customers - all due to this MNP and government is either careless or ignoring the major problem around the MNP thing. I see customers are highly suffering.

    Please be informed that, for more than 96 hours, I’m not able to use my airtel sim card (mobile number: [protected]) since it has been de-activated for no reason, inspite of the fact that I’m having a positive balance of Rs. 232 and validity is upto 2037.

    IF THIS ISSUE IS NOT RESOLVED WITHIN TODAY AND IF I’M STILL NOT ABLE TO USE MY AIRTEL SIM CARD TOMORROW, I WILL BE TAKING LEGAL ACTION AGAINST AIRTEL FOR DEACTIVATING MY SIM CARD AND NOT PROVIDING ME THE PROMISED SERVICES, INSPITE OF THE FACT THAT MY AIRTEL PREPAID BALANCE IS POSITIVE AND VALIDITY IS 2037.

    Don’t think that this is a joke. I will definitely move to court of law if Airtel fails to re-activate my sim card and my services within today.

    Airtel Officers,

    I’m an airtel Karnataka mobile pre-paid customer (+91-[protected]).

    For the last couple of days, I found that my airtel sim card is not able to receive any signal from any of the airtel towers in Bangalore.

    I set my phone to do a “manual search” of the available networks and tried to select airtel from the list of available networks.

    But, then, I was getting an error telling that “No network access”.

    I initially suspected that it could be my handset problem and inserted my airtel sim card in other handsets and I’m facing the same problem in all the handsets.

    Because of this, I’m not able to place or receive any calls (both voice & data calls).

    I’m having a positive balance of INR 230 and my validity is till Nov-2037.

    So, I called up the airtel customer care (from a different phone) and reported this issue to them.

    But, airtel customer care executives denied to register any complaint on this regard.

    That is why, I’m writing to you, higher officers of Airtel.

    Please look into this issue with high priority and take necessary action for restoring my airtel simcard status back to original state so that I can avail airtel voice & data services, again.

      I am so sad to write this complaint. today morning[28 dec.2011] i have got a message that you have charged 100 rupees for last call. to be sincere i havent called to anyone from my airtel mob no. my no is +[protected]. this sim is on international roaming.

      if you dont mind will you please check the details from 27.dec to 28.dec 2011. because i need to know why you charged 100 rupees from my credit. i do need to get back my amount soon.

      Nb: please dont try to call me over Indian mob no[its on roaming] more than that i am not getting calls from anyone after the deduction of that amount. instead of that you can use my london mob no +[protected]

      I tried to call +91 [protected] this number to register complaint. but no use. no one is picking call.so can i get any other alternative contact no to talk. i am sure there will be another alternative contact no for international customers.

      i am not getting calls, i do need to get it cleared as quick as possible and also i need to know about the validity of my sim. when is the last date of this sim. please do not run me into trouble , will you please contact me fast either by email or by london mob no.do need to get it cleared before 2012. i have been waiting for your reply

        Hello Sir/Madam,

        Myself, Dipen Majumder (Mobile: [protected]) and I have been using Airtel telecom & broadband since 2008. I always found Airtel Broadband service is better than any other known Internet service providers in India in terms of Quality, Accuracy and excellent Customer Service. But suddenly all of my perceptions about Airtel services turned out to be an absolute disaster.

        During May-June 2011, I was out of my city (Raipur, Chhattisgarh) with the family. So, my telephone + broadband bills (Turbo 1299 BB Plan. Telephone no:[protected] / Account no:[protected] of Rs. 7600 (around) for two months remained unpaid & my services were barred. Fair enough !!

        I came back home in July, 2011 and after few days I got a call on my cell from a person Mr. RISHI MALIYA (Mobile no: [protected]) from Airtel Office (Raipur). He informed me about the dues and booked an appointment with me to collect the payment. On 15 July 2011 (Friday) he visited my home and I gave him Rs.7500 (in cash) along with a written application for closing the connection (as I was having another Airtel connection). He gave me a signed(by himself) payment collection receipt (serial no:355034) and took my application (for account closure) with him & promised me that he would personally submit the same and my connection (telephone + broadband) will be closed.

        After two months I got a new telephone bill of Rs. 3870 mailed to my address. I called 121 & enquired the whole thing. What I got to know was very shocking!!

        1) On 15th July 2011, only Rs. 3500 was credited to my Airtel A/C instead of Rs. 7500 (collected from me by Mr. Rishi Maliya)
        2) My connection could not be closed as no such ‘A/C closure request’ was received by Airtel at any point of time.

        I informed the whole matter to the customer care executive (15th Sep 2011) and asked for his help. He enquired the name & contact no. of the payment collector and also suggested me to mail the whole matter along with the Collection Receipt’s scanned picture to [protected]@airtel.in and [protected]@in.airtel.com. He also booked one complaint (ID:4083738 ) against the issue & also raised a request (ID:4085404) for Account Closure as well. I wrote & email the whole issue with the receipt (scanned ) copy to Airtel on the same day.

        Up to this point, I had no problem with Airtel as I understood that the company did not cheat me but one of their employees/hired agent did.

        Airtel CCE promised me that –

        1) They will look after the whole issue very seriously and come with an appropriate solution within 3 - 4 days.
        2) If they find my issue is genuine, they will adjust the bill and take appropriate actions.

        Days passed no email, no calls from Airtel. I contacted 121 again and told the whole ‘Mahabharat’ with the previous complaint id(s). The whole process was repeated. New Complaint (ID: 4804266) issued > 2nd Email was sent.

        This time the post-complaint scenario was better than before. I got calls from Local Airtel office > told the whole matter again > Gave them the Name and Mobile No. of Mr. Rishi Maliya (as they asked fot that ).

        Dramatically Mr. Rishi Maliya called me on the same day and continuously asking for my help as his jobs was under stake. He requested me not to pick up any calls from Airtel or told them that “I am not Dipen Majumder” .. blah..blah.. I strictly denied his request & all suggestions. I had recorded the whole conversation with him on my cell phone.

        I was happy and hopeful as I thought some actions were being finally taken on this issue. But for my surprise there was no further call/news I can remember I had received from the company.

        Days passed > No further bills > No news from Airtel

        I called 121 again on 21st Oct 2011 to know the final status of my issues. One of the Customer Care Executives told me that my connection has been cancelled recently and all the related issues were resolved. (Reference no: 4804266).

        I was relaxed !! But not for many days ….

        On 21st December 2011 I got a call on my mobile from a Govt. Advocate Manoj Mishra (Mobile no: [protected]) from Delhi Tis Hazari Court He told me that he was calling regarding a case file registered (under Section 420 IPC) against me on Delhi Tis Hazari Court for not paying the outstanding telephone bill of Rs.3441 for the Airtel No:[protected] / Account no: 14051010 and now this case was going to be presented infront of the Justice on the same day at 11.30 AM.

        See the height of harassment!!

        I told him the whole thing. He then suggested me to make a payment of Rs. 3441 first by visiting the nearest Airtel office/collection center and then provide him the Bill Receipt No. before 11.30 AM and only after that he can process the matter in my favour by sending me an ‘NOC’ first and then he will send a letter to the Company (Bharti )asking them to enquire the whole matter and release a refund to me within just 3 - 4 days.

        Immediately after that I called 121 and told the whole matter. The CCE suggested me to do the same as the advocate told me to do and also assured me that this issue will be resolved within 28th December 2011.

        Finally I made another Payment of Rs. 3440 (Receipt no:[protected] ) by visiting Airtel office and sms the payment details to Advocate Manoj Mishra.

        Atlast I turned out to be a real stupid. Because -

        1) An Airtel agent came to my home and collect Rs. 7500 from me but deposit Rs.3500 to Airtel
        2) After contacting 121 for more than 10 times I got confirmation on account cancellation and got to know that all issues were solved (ID: 4804266)
        3) After 2 months some Govt. Advocate from Delhi called me to inform that Airtel had filed a case (under Section 420 IPC ) against me
        4) I had to make another payment of RS.3440 for absolutely no offence.


        The latest news on this issue is that I have not received any updates / news from Airtel or any Refunds from anybody. I contacted them today (28 Dec 2011) and Customer Care Executive told me that I need to visit the Airtel office with the Receipts and tell them the whole issue again (I did it two times earlier).

        Ridiculous!!! Disgusting!!!!

        Sorry for this long post but I have no other way left to express my stupidity for subscribing to Airtel services. I still hope someone behind this forum can really help me out.

        I have asked for a plan 256 kbps unlimited. The bill has been genrated for the same.

        It has been brought to my light that i have been offered 512 kbps for upto 5gb and then 128 kbps speed thereafter.

        This being said, this is a clear case of cheating me. I have been calling up your customer service help line. and i was assured that the same will be looked into- that i will be revised back to the original plan of 256 kbps.

        The customer service agent i spoke to yesterday agreed to the fact that the error was from airtels end and not from my end.

        He has confirmed the same by reference to my trailing mail.

        This is extremely unprofessional on part of Airtel.

        As per Manas- i am quoting the interaction id -1093412.

        please do the needful and make sure that i get the plan for which the bill has been generated.

        Airtel Telecommunication — bill payment

        I am bringing an issue to you. I paid Rs. 700 to S.Singh(Airtel Executive)
        against the bill of my land line no [protected] on 19 April 2011. The executive
        was sent by Airtel itself. My receipt number is 5942032. I have been complaining
        to Airtel customer care for past 15 days, but it seems that they are not
        bothered about it. Today outgoing service of land line also got disconnected
        .The complaint number is 45650226. I request you to kindly consider my complaint
        and look into the matter.

        Airtel Broadband — Cheating & Harrasment

        Hope you can read and justify why I should not file a lawsuit

        There were several instances where I caught them cheating with customers. I had Airtel Broadband for over an year time involving two different connections. A/C numbers 16013469 and [protected].

        The connection was taken somewhere about October or November 2010 with A/C number 16013469. The plan was Unlimited 4MBs 10GB for Rs 899+tax. Since day one I started to have an issue with the connection. The connection that was provided to me was Unlimited 512 KBPS 10GB for Rs 899+tax. So I went to your customer service and inspite of taking an complaint for not providing me the correct service they placed a request on my name for plan change without my concern. This took about 20 days for them to rectify the issue. I still had to pay for that month which I did. I had paid additional 500 RS for the Binatone Modem. Trust me this is the worst modem I have seen in my life. The LAN port started to stall and final stopped responding after a month. Requested for a new modem. The engineer came and installed a used modem and told me that there is no stock and will not be able to supply the new modem for 2 days. Two days turned in to 20 still the modem did not arrive. The modem was also having the same problem so I decided to by my own modem.

        I just let it go as the service was smooth with no issues till March 2011 until the Servers were put on so called upgrade. After that even though my modem was switched off the the data transfer was shown in my daily usuage. However I have clearly shown the incorrect calculation of the usage and my speed was reduced. I logged a call with the Customer service and the great customer service executive took the complaint as a billing issue. Don’t understand a simple thing if my plan is unlimited usage with the same amount why would I log a billing complaint? My next step was to go to Appellate Officers and Nodal Officers and had proved my point to Alcatel as well who was handling the complaint that time and the service was restored. I had to repeat the same for over 6 times in 6 months. It also so happened that I was out of station for 10 days and received a message that I had exceeded 80% of the usage I was shocked to add to it I didn’t had a wireless connection that time. The electricity connection was disconnected by BESCOM as I was not able pay on time being out of station. I tried to log a complaint with the customer service the person did not want to log a complaint as well so had to request for a disconnection. After 2 days the connection was barred without any communication so I walked up to Airtel Office there no one was bothered to handle a customer who came with a complaint or disconnection all of them were busy and willing to attend only the customers who were looking for a new connection. I was furious with this behavior and asked them for their manager. I was later attended by a senior member but not a manager. I explained him the situation and he called Ms Sowmya ([protected]) supposed to be customer care lead and she assured that the connection will go under retention and will not be disconnected. So I returned home. After 2 days the connection was completely terminated.

        Since then I spoke to with Venkat ( [protected]), Sunil ([protected]), Sowmya ([protected]), Ashutosh ([protected]) all assured me that the connection will be re-established within 30 mins which actually never happened. After 5 days someone called me and informed that I have re submit my documents to get the connection re-established as the connection was disconnected. They were not willing to understand that the connection was discontinued on their own will without taking to me. Later one of the technician visited my premise and to install a new connection. There I was given a completely a new connection with a landline connection without any handset with account number [protected]. I was told that the connection will be monitored to check if there was any problem. But soon within 10 days the speed was again slashed. I requested for the activity logs from Airtel which I was denied. In the 1st month only I stopped the payment. This happened in the month of November 2011 and as usual the collection team started calling. I keep telling them why I have discontinued the payment and all I get to hear is “Ok sir I will check with my manager and get back to you”.

        And One fine day after returning to office I found that the wire was cut from outside and the wire remaining inside my house was pulled so hard that my mode fell on the floor and broke. I still did not react. The calls disappeared for about 3 months and suddenly one of the executive visited my premise and started with a loud voice that I have to pay the money and we don’t care if you had a problem the connection is in your name and you have to pay the money or else we know how to extract the money. I immediately called the police station seeing this he called his manager and handed over the phone to me. I spoke to a person named Akram and he seems to the manager of the collection team. He wanted to know what was the problems that I had faced with the service and I told him in details and he concluded that I will never ever get a call or message asking to make any payment for this connection at all.

        But now I am getting the below message.

        Dear Customer, This is Reg Del no. 4204198 for which o/s of Rs. 7459 is overdue since 4mths. Kdly Mk pymt imdtly to avoid legal Proceeding For payment pickup, please do get in touch with our representative. Mr. Ashok on [protected]. (Believe me this is not a typo or a short hand I tried in this message. This is the exact wording of the message I have received).

        I called the number and wanted to enquire who was Mr Ashok. He informed that the he is from the legal team of Airtel. I asked him is he aware of the details of the case the reply was typical Airtel I need not have to know the details of the call this is not my Job I don’t get paid for this. I will check and get back to you.

        Customer inconvenience

        1. Incorrect information supplied while changing the plan.
        2. Money taken but service not provided.
        3. Connection disconnected without confirmation.
        4. Connection disconnected under retention.
        5. Information denied.
        6. Connection completely changed without customers concern.
        7. Harassment through recovery agents and collection calls.

        There is nothing much of customer service you can expect from Airtel.

          On 24 Dec 2011 the balance of my Mobile Number [protected] was Rs.21.69 but when I tried to call it was showing balance Rs.0.69, when I enquired about the balance to Customer Care Executive he told that internet was used and message was sent,I told him that I am not using Internet since long one year and I did not send any message then call was disconnecte, I tried several times to contact Customer Care Executive but not succeded,Lastly I send message to Airtel customer care and they told me to wait till 27 Dec 2011 and your amonunt will be credited but so far amont is not credited the Reference Number is
          [BAL]QRC[protected].

          Therefore I request you to kindly look into the matter and help me to refund my Rs.21.00 .

            I HAVE REQUESTED FOR PORTING MY NUMBER FROM RELIANCE TO AIRTEL ON 19TH DECEMBER AND THE PORTING WAS DONE ON 24TH DECEMBER BUT TILL NOW INCOMING AND OUTGOING CALL AND SMS FACILITIES HAVE NOT BEEN STARTED IN MY NUMBER. I HAVE SEVERAL TIMES VISITED THE AIRTEL OFFICE AND CALLED 198 MANY TIMES BUT TILL NOW THEY HAVE NOT SOLVED MY PROBLEM.               Complaint against Air-tel broadband regarding land line no [protected] in the name of Poonam Choudhary Ac no14691512 .Air-tel is sending us bills not according to the plan requested and the plan they say do not exist on any of there brochure.and even on anti viruswhen the broadband was virus when.They have even send us bill for the period when the modem was disconnected and no net surfing and download was done.On 2/11/2011 Miss Komal Vij at 4.41pm from mobile no [protected] some senior executive from airtel as told by her said that it was their mistake and the amount has been settled to Rs3000 out of which Rs100 thousand will be adjusted in the next billing.But not ting have been done till date even on our repeated-mailing to airtel.Still we are been harassed by airtel to pay Rs8000/.I have all the details can be produced when required.Kindly look into the matter and help us.

                Dear Sir,

                I am currently using Airtel Prepaid (Mobile#:[protected] and [protected]). For the past two days we have been unable to use any of the services (no incoming or outgoing).

                Airtel has not mentioned anything about this downtime. There has been no update on when the issue is going to be resolved or any status update. Being one of the biggest providers there should have been a public notice issued. This displays very poor ownership on Airtel's part. We have just been waiting for the services to be up.

                Within my family we have a total of 7numbers and all o[censored]s just waiting for our services to be restored. Our frustration is just building up and we are seriously considering porting out.

                  I have recently port my number from reliance to airtel just because of network issues with reliance.
                  I am using a Samsung galaxy A7 phone which has 4g supprt but may connection workwd good for one month.
                  Now in my second billing cycle i am facing a lot of problems with the network.
                  Many times my phone shows network errors and some times it has some registration issues.
                  In this regard i have registered a complaint with SR no.62095502 on 23-05-15 but that complaint is not resolved till date.
                  Today i.e on[protected] i have registered one more complaint with SR no. 62367347 for the same problem.
                  But your customer care executive told me that my old complaint is open till date so he can`t take my new complaint but i insisted him yhan he registered my complaint.
                  your executive told me that they have forwarded my complaint to the technical team but still i have not received any calls or visit from your technical team.
                  Kindly take this matter seriously or else i have to move on to some other service provider in search of good service.
                  As i`m facing a lot of problems with this connection.

                      I have been charged approx 1705 Rs from Jan 2011 to Dec 2011.
                      I have not paid bill of october 2011 of Rs 870 because of this issue is not getting resolved at Airtel for long time.I started getting their calls immediately for the same for which i responded my concern.
                      I told them that if you prove that these sms's have been done by me,I will pay the bill.
                      These SMS's are to Russia and on one or two mobile numbers.
                      Pl look into so that I will also come to know if anything is happening on my mobile.

                          The issue was a bill was generated after the plan was changed without my consultantation.

                          The bill has been generated with a huge amount

                          I raised the complaint and have not even received a call till now with reference to the issue.

                          This is regarding the an issue beign faced with airtel. Airtel has not yet delivered the bill, for past 4 Months. Despite of repeated follow-ups, they have not send me the bills. I have asked fro Itemised bill.. But they have forwarded standardised bill(soft Copy).

                          I had been following for Days/Months together. But of no use. Instead of sending me the bills, they keep suspending my services.

                          I had been tried reaching their Nodal Officer and the Appellate Officer. Finally after waiting for hours together, I spoke One Miss/Mrs Bharathi(on 02/04/2009), Who did not even bother to listen to customer grievance. I tried for appellate officer, but it was fruitless. The telephone kept ringing at Appellate Office and no one bothered to pick the call..

                          Again back to Customer Care, been following up for days together. Had spoken to Sandhya(07/04/2009), Syeeda, Manjunath, Rahul(Floor Manager), herdeep(Floor Manager's Manager), Manu(Floor Manager), Ram Prasad(Floor Manager's Manager).

                          There had been lot of inconsistency in the information, that, we as consumer are unable to trust, we are escalating the issue to the right person. When asked for Floor Manager's Boss, the call was tranferred to Herdeep. After a long conversation, the Service was enabled.

                          Two Days later, again services were suspended. Then I spoke to Manu(02/05/2009), who claimed that he was Herdeep's Boss..

                          Today(04/05/2009), Having spoken to Ram Prasad, I understood that, Manu Reports to Herdeep/Ram Prasad.

                          Looking at this, Its very clear that, Customer Services are really fooling Consumers.

                          Can You please look into the issue and help the consumers have a good response and good service from this company.

                          Comparing the complaints, Its very clear that, Airtel has got largest number complaints than the other market players.

                          Hence I Request, the Team, who handles Consumer Complaints, to take up this issue, seriously along with TRAI and help the consumers.

                          Dear Sir/Madam,

                          I am Aditya Arya and my Airtel mobile number is [protected]. For the billing cycle of 23/10/2012 to 22/11/2012, I have received a bill of Rs 1,902.59 which took me by surprise. After thoroughly going through the details, I found out that major portion of the bill amount is formed by internet data usage. I was using a combo pack 150 providing 1gb data free (500MB - 3g; 500MB - 2g). As I use software on my phone to track my data usage and also from time to time I check with airtel customer service about the same, I knew that I had not exceeded that limit. I called up customer service on 26th November, 2012 and I was told that I have used only 174.69MB - 3G data and around 652.53MB - 2G data. In total around 827.22MB. Further I was told that although I have not exceeded the total data cap of 1GB, I have exceeded my 2G limit of 500MB and the data usage beyond that threshold has been charged 10paisa/10kB (Rs10/1MB).

                          During the time of subscription, I was misinformed and provided wrong information that I would be getting 3G speed for first 500MB after which 2G will kick in for the next 500MB. And after I have consumed 1GB data charges would be on per MB usage.

                          Now the problem is two-fold: Firstly, I was misled by customer care at the time of subscription. I was not provided correct information or maybe it might be airtel's tactic to keep consumers in the dark so we end up getting more bill and thus have to pay more.


                          Secondly, Is it my fault that airtel does have good enough 3G coverage as I merely ended up using 174.69MB and for the major part was on 2G. Logically, does it make any sense that 325.31MB of 3G unused. Tell me why I did not get 3G speed???? Why I ended up using 2G when 325.31MB of my 3G quota was left??? Why was I misled and given wrong information???

                          If I had known the truth and was given the correct information I would have never opted for such a plan. I am not a fool that I would keep on using 2G, which is so expensive.

                          I have been told that I can get a waiver of Rs 500, whereas I would like a waiver of 1405.30.

                          Further, it seems that airtel does not value its customer every-time I have to take initiative to call and check the status of the issue. Also, I was told by airtel's nodal officer in a very rude way to accept the waiver of Rs 500 or else do whatever I like. It seems that I hold no value as a customer to Airtel.

                          I am using Two nos. [protected] &amp; 741 for the last 10 years of Airtel. And for the last 6 years Advance rental plan was activated. This time I decided to have my no. shifted to corporate plan and was waiting for Airtel prior information. On Jan 25th i received a message saying that Advance rental has been activated . I immeidatkey called their helpline 121 and informed that I do not want this plan as such do not activate. They said their ssytem is down and you call tomorrow. I called on 26th Jan and logged the SR. Airtel had shifted me to Corporate plan but had debited Rs. 999 each on both Mobiles as advacne rental. They are not reversing these charges . Why should I suffer for no fault of mine.

                          I just want that Airtel should reverse these Rs. 999 from the current bill (in both the cases) so that I can pay the balance.

                            I am using Airtel Prepaid services for more than 3 years. I visited the Airtel Customer care center in Thillai nagar 11 th cross,Trichy, Tamilnadu to register my compliant about the billing and also get more information . Almost all of the customer care executive is either busy with their social networking in their mobile or busy talking to each other. Some not interested in answer the question.

                            The executive i met behaved very rudely and not answer the queries asked by me. then i register my complaint in the landlines phone kept in the desk.

                            I felt so embarrassing that nobody intend to listen to customer's compliant. There is no complaint register book to show our dissatisfaction. All these young boys and girls are busy in their social networking or chatting to each other.

                              I immediately called Customer Care to intimate thee same But They were unable to help as their database is 24 hours behind Time.
                              I called thee Customer Care again on 24the Dec Night and they agreed that I was charged for a Game (which I never downloaded).
                              They agreed that It might be a mistake and Lodged a compliant withe Service Request No. 41241756 and I was told my Query will be addressed before 27the Dec 15:30 (attached is thee snap shot of Service Request)

                                My landline is not working at all from last two weeks. I logged complaint a lot of times. Everytime they say that your last complaint is resolved. They by themselves resolve the complaint without even resolving or asking the customer. The customer care executives are very very rude. I can't even talk to them.

                                  I had given a request to shift my airtel broadband line in August 2011 and I had a credit balance of Rs.2000 at this time. TIt is now december and my line is still not shifted. When I call today, Airtel tells me that I have a balance due of over Rs.3000/-. All along, th eline was not shifted and hence the internet was not used. No one bothered to even chenck the status and I had been following it up with Airtel for over two months. I come to know today that Airtel has been charging me all this while and now demanding me to pay the overdue amount. I want to take this company to court andclaim damages. What do I do?                                     I am based at Bangalore and have been a loyal customer of Airtel prepaid mobile for almost four and half years.
                                    I didn't have many problems with their service till this Christmas.
                                    I used to do online recharge of Rs 200. through ICICI personal banking and the last recharge I did on 19th Dec 11 gave a talk time of Rs 179.32.
                                    On Sunday, 25th Dec11, when I did the recharge of Rs 200 from a dealer in Pazhayangadi in Kannur district of Kerala, I was in rude shock!!! It gave me a talk time of Rs 1 and also no special balance (the fancy thing Airtel use sometimes). Trans ID is [protected]. I argued with the dealer and he says he did the right recharge even though I am on roaming.
                                    Then I called Customer service in Bangalore and talked to one lady, Sangeetha and she said that my recharge of Rs. 200 went to 3G service and NOT to my prepaid talk time. I argued with her saying I did the recharge last time and I got Rs 179.32 talk time. She is saying I have to recharge Rs 201 instead of Rs 200, then only I will get that talk time. I was shocked and disappointed as I badly needed the talk time and I opted for 3G connection ANYTIME. She disconnected the call ABRUPTY!.
                                    After an hour I called the Customer service AGAIN and talked to another agent. He told he will transfer the call and I waited for more than a minute, nothing happened. When I inquired again the call got disconnected ABRUPTLY!!. What a PATHETIC customer service!!!
                                    I came to Bangalore today(27th Dec 11 ) and did an online recharge of Rs 200 through ICICI online, I did get the recharge of 179.20,BUT after one and half hours. Now I am waiting for another Rs 50 recharge which I did after sometime.
                                    Two things they did WRONG.
                                    1) If Rs 200 is for 3G, they should have informed the customer in advance saying they should recharge for 201 instead of 200 to avail same benefits.
                                    2) Secondly they should give better options in easy recharge to the dealer so that they don’t get these kinds of issues in future.
                                    I am thinking to move to a different mobile provider, probably Docomo as I heard they give better service with a better plan and rates.
                                    It is high time to say GOODBYE to AIRTEL!!!.
                                    NB: I didn’t mention my mobile number or email address here to avoid unsolicited calls/messages from telemarketers.

                                    Airtel Prepaid — FRAUD TOPUP

                                    Dear all,

                                    Yesterday at 9 pm i have purchased a top-up(AIR-TEL) of RS 30/- from our local shop,when I scratch the card and recharge the voucher the massage showing "This is a used voucher".The shopkeeper denis for the same he says it is not possible however i talk with the custome care executive(Mr S Biswas)at 9:53pm he says that this voucher is used on 21 jan.he requested to the shopkeeper to refund the money however the shopkeeper rejected his request and did not refund the money.

                                    So i request you to please look into this because either there is a racket working behind this or by mistake the same serial no card is reprinted.

                                    It is surprising that the company airtel has not answered to this complaint but has answered to the complaint I WANT MY NUMBER BACK...in this very forum
                                    IT seems they have no answer to this complaint as it is a fraud by the company ...it is due to these reasons ans well as other irritating reasons ...such as sending useless SMS's even though i am registered with do not disturb ... that i have moved to idea network at least they are more ethical...

                                    I mentioned the transaction no in my complaint above and using that Airtel can pull all my contact details (including mobile number) from the system, if they want to. Don't tell me you can't do that!!!

                                    One Airtel manager contacted me after couple of days I lodged this complaint and he told he will refund all Rs. 200 I lost. He did refund, but only Rs. 50. So Airtel managers themselves are unable to keep their words!!! So what is the point of trusting Airtel.
                                    So I am going ahead with my plan of switching over to other service provider.

                                      So fed up with Airtel Infrastructure problems in Mumbai. Airtel has the worst and pathetic network in Mumbai. Regular Call Drops, Network congestion, No Range etc etc. Today since morning am not able to make any calls or send any messages. This is leading to increase in the bill amount as well as incurring of business loss.
                                      Funny part is not even able to call the customer care and when you email or lodge complaints online, the system replies back that your query will get resolved in within 48 hours. Have they gone crazy! Wait for 48 hours to wait for my phone to get back on line. Is this the type of customer speedy redressal are they going for!

                                      Airtel Mumbai — Repeated harassment for payment

                                      Hello

                                      My name is Neerav Ghosh, and this pertains to my Airtel Mumbai mobile phone number[protected]. I have had this number and service for about 2 years, and except for the very first bill, ALL bills till March 2009 have been deducted directly from my credit card as per Standing instructions I have issued.

                                      Since my credit card expired in Feb 2009, I have submitted a fresh Standing Instruction to continue the direct debit of my bill.

                                      On 14th March, 2009 I issued this instruction, duly filled a form, submitted photocopies of my credit card etc. and submitted it in the Lokhandwala, Andheri centre of Airtel. I was assured that the needful would be done within 3 working days and my next bill would be debited to my credit card. That bill (Feb) I paid by cheque.

                                      On the next month billing, on 8th April, 2009, I started to receive SMSs that my bill had not been paid. I called customer services (121) and was told that my credit card was not valid. Upon investigation, I realised that the new credit card details had not been activated in the system.

                                      I was told that visiting the lokhandwala centre of Airtel (where I had submitted the documents earlier), and by showing a copy the initial form that had been stamped by them, this would be done immediately.

                                      Instead, I was told that I had made a mistake, and that I would have to do the whole form filling etc all over again. This, despite my having a copy of the stamped SI form. They couldnt explain what mistake I had made.

                                      Anyway, I did so again, on April 9th, 2009. I still found the whole experience ridiculous, but repeated the process anyway. First I was told it would be effective within 2-3 days, then later I was told it would take 15 days to activate.

                                      I received an SMS on 16th April that states very clearly my SI has been updated, and my bill will be charged to my credit card. Further, Rs. 10 has been deducted as a test.

                                      Yet, and despite of all this, EVERYDAY I get at least one call from an airtel rep saying my bill is outstanding. EACH time I tell them I have an SI. EACH time I ask for a supervisor. EACH time nothing happens, and despite it being two weeks, I still continue to get harassing calls. Some of them are threatening in tone and manner, and some of the reps are very very rude.

                                      Now my next bill has come in, and there is a 'late fee' charged. This is too much !!!

                                      Airtel — Repeated Document Submission Harassment

                                      Hi,

                                      Recently I changed my mobile service provider from Aircel to Airtel. After submitting all necessary valid documents still I'm being asked to re submit again and again.I have to stand in queue for almost an hour. Till now I have submitted about 5 times and yet they ask me to do the same, else face disconnection of service. The "Customer Care" tells me to do the same stating security reasons. I'm really annoyed by this ans I'm looking forward some solution.

                                        I recharged by Rs. 1448.00 on 26/12/2011 at about 17.30 Hrs.under the scheme of " Pay for 6 months & get one month free" from your registered dealer at Chadni Chawk area. My hand set no. is[protected]. But it is unfortunate to say that till now my service is showing 'Please Recharge' and after that, service is going off. It is also needed to mention that till now I have not received any phone massage from your end, which I used to get.
