Airtel — change of account number without informing me and now not returning the money from the old account to me

I have airtel num [protected] . I got the connection transfered to my husband's name. Initially the airtel account num was [protected] which changed to different account num - [protected] without informing me during the connection's name change. I kept getting bills that I have to pay -243 as the airtel bill for july 2013.So I did not pay it . After a few days I got a call that I need to pay Rs 503 to airtel .As I was confused ,I did not want the connection to get cut .I paid Rs 530 to airtel account [protected] .I was able to login to airtel.in and see that I have -773 in my airtel account . Once I understood the confusion was because new account number got created..I have repeatedly called airtel to resolve the issue and transfer my money from old account to new account number. This has not been done yet and they have been closing my requests saying they do not have proof of the payments made to the old airtel account -[protected] .I have sent my citibank statement snapshots regarding the same. I need my money back from airtel and the issue to be resolved quickly .

Airtel — Portal login

not able to use my existing account on new airtel portal; not receiving SMS on my mobile after resetting password. sort of pain to pay the bills.
