Hi,

I would like to highlight a very big security flaw by a company like Airtel.

As I did not get my phone bill (hard copy) for the month of August 2013, I called up Airtel Customer Care. They told me that the bill has been recieved by a person named as Sonu who is a guard in my society. I enquired about the guard and came to know that there is no such person who works here. Hence, they have given my bill to the person who is neither related to me or neither works here. Now this hard copy of bill contains detailed information which can be used by someone for all the wrong means.

I would like to ask how can a company like this can play with their customer's security and put them on risk???

    Airtel — cut the Static IP

    At that time we are have Brodbad with static IP.
    Becouse of some reagiones we want to cut the static IP conection for a time periead

      I am having a hard time getting the Airtel 4G activated. Even after calling the Airtel customer service several times no one came to give me demo.
      Then one agent sold me the wifi device and mentioned demo was not required since people in my area were using 4G without any problem. We also got the verification done but when we called the customer care for activation they mentioned that without demo they will not activate. They said that once you get the demo done then we will activate the number.
      The other day we called the customer care again saying that demo is done now but they said that they rejected the connection and we will have to reprocess again and they asked us to submit the documents again.
      Currently the Wifi router is gathering dust for a month now.
      This is such a terribly bad experience from Airtel customer service. What we paid for the router also is gone.

      Airtel — wifi activation not done

      Dear All,

      I am Dhriti Modak ph: [protected] using a broad band connection with AC no 16353499.

      I have requested for a upgrade of modem to wifi under the request no[protected] taken by Adal and as committed by him the concern person will pay a visit at my billing address latest by the 8.7.11 @11.30am.

      Unfortunately the above mentioned did not happen. I made several call to the help line (198) requesting for an urgent response as I had to leave for work by 12.30pm.
      My first call was received by Miss Kavita and I was assured a speedy resolution max 1hr time..After 1.5hr when there was no sign of an airtel representative I was forced to call the help line again.
      This time Mr. Amit Sau had received the call and was in extreme hurry to end the call. I repetitively told him that I need urgent solution as I had to leave for work but that did not make much of a difference. I had requested Mr Amit to transfer the line to any senior to which he came back saying they are all busy and on request of a call back he rather rudely said “there are no senior calls back taken” I was surprised that a customer can be denied a right to escalation!!!! instead he wanted me to stay back the entire day to wait for a wifi connection. As a matter of fact I did adjust my day off and waited patiently in the hope that Airtel values its customers. What a shame no one bothered to call.

      Yesterday 9.7.11 @ 3.00pm someone called from the no:[protected] and said have paid a visit at my place and since I was not present he wanted to get an appointment fixed. On questioning him the reason for the delay he was further rude and said he was overloaded with requests and does not wish to explain himself..

      The rudeness,the irresponsibility, the lack of commitment and the disrespect on display is shocking.
      I am highly disappointed, not sure if that matters at all. Standing today I so wish I had not got my old broad band connection disconnected over a friends recommendation to switch to Airtel for better services and I repeat ' better services '. The term seams like a joke to me.

      I fail to understand that having a corporate connection and willing to extend relationship with Airtel is not being accepted at your end.

      Request you to let me know if that is the case and I will very well use mobile number potability and other facilities available in the market.
      I would like to be associated with a brand with values its customers.

      AirTel — Number not getting activated

      I had bought a duplicate sim from airtel office, Sector -11, Panchkula on Saturday July16. After taking the duplicate sim I asked for any contact number of the store then I was not given any contact number. Instead I was told that there is no contact number and the sim will be activated in 4 hrs. The behaviour of the lady was so rude.

      My number is still not activated and the customer care folks are saying I will have to visit the store again to confirmabout activation. Earlier also for issuance of this duplicate sim I had to go there several times. This is so frustrating.

      I have raised a complaint against that store through customer care.
      I was given the reference number: WNGC[protected]

      Kindly look into this matter.

      No response to my queries yet. This is very frustrating.
      Airtel people are really doing nothing. They just called me up a couple of times but did not revert. Kindly look into it.

        I am Post paid user of aitel Mobile No. [protected] , I received SMS yesterday on my mobile that Usage of International raoming ( Voice + Data) on my airtel mobile [protected] is Rs. 7725 on 9th August 2013.

        I traveled on 5th August to China , My ISD Roaming activated on 6th August.

        In my Blackbury phone I kept data services off . I did not get signal till 7th , Error SOS There was no service on blackberry.Only emegency call. shown on mobile.

        7th afternoon I changed my sim to another Phone Samsung and make two three calls from my SIM.

        I received many massage from Aitel , I haven't used data service and also it could not access data services on Samsung phone.

        8th and 9th August I made 2- 3 calls to India and 9th Evening return from China.

        I am surprisess to seee raoming bill , because I have not used data service. Only 5-6 calls to India. How you can make this much of bill. As per my calculation it should not be more than Rs. 750.00

        I assume , Airtel send me many SMS , unnessasry and charging for the same. Thease SMS send to increase my bill.

        I hope aitel can check my usage and give immediate attention to resolve the problem

        We donot axecpt this type of behavour like airtel company.

          Hi All!

          This post is to create awareness on how Airtel like companies tactically and unethically charge their customers. I am one of the victims of Airtel and would like to help others from falling victim to their trap.

          Airtel will activate data (internet) plans by default. They call 10 paisa / 10 kb is a default data service (they do want to call it as "data plan" but "default data service"!). If you use smart phones, some time it will download data without your intention. For example to update some apps or if you use wifi and wifi modem is turned off, certain mobiles will automatically use available data connections. Airtel will wait for the opportunity and bill you nicely (I was billed Rs.3000/- in just 1 day). I was never warned or blocked when my max usage limit crossed. They let it to run to bill me happily!!

          No matter you buy only voice plan they will add data plan on their own. In my case I explicitly asked Airtel not to add internet connection to my number but still they did activation. Huh, I bought 2 connections 1 exclusively for voice and another for voice and data!! I have no idea how you can ask Airtel not to add data (internet) plan.

          It is like this, you rent a house to stay. Your house owner has a parking space which you didn't rent at all. Your house owner decide to charge you nicely when you use it! So make you vulnerable by keeping the parking space open and unoccupied. But never told you explicitly. One day your guest parked the car without your intention. Your house owner didn't warn you but billed you 5 times your house monthly rent for a day of parking. When you asked your house owner, he says.. "oh, that is a default service, you rent a house I assume parking space is added and will charge it on my own pricing. I don't sign an agreement or warn my tenants about it upfront. You parked so you need to pay! Not just you, since you rent my house, anybody park here you will be billed. Now you want me to assume you don't rent the parking, Ok I'll. But only from now. pay for the previous use. Best, I can give you 20% discount". Oh, discount for a service I never bought. Great, now, you can't legally question him, you used you need to pay.

          Yet it is not ethical. Sometime when they talk it seems everything is correct and you are a fool! If you take some time and think again you will get confused!!

          Careful folks! Not every consumer is a business guy but every business guy is a business guy! I wait for a Airtel guy to rent my apartment!!

          Airtel mobile - Post paid — mob no - 9840151202 deactivated

          My Director Mr Po Vijaya Kumar, mob no[protected] has been deactivated since 2330h on 19th Apr 11. Its a post paid connection all the bills paid, this is second time without any prior intimation.

          airtel should activate immly also to compensate for the losses.

          Airtel Mobile Services — Unethical charges for internet services

          Dear Sir,

          I am airtel prepaid customer. I am using internet frequently and hence, I have activated airtel monthly internet package at 98 rupees a month for a period of 3rd June to 3rd July.

          I used it for about 15 days and from 22nd June onwards, they activated their another internet package without my request and started deducting 19 Rs. every three days.

          I request you to kindly take necessary action to get the money back and not to make any such unpleasant incident to happen in future.

            RESPECTED SIR.
            Sir, i was used Air tel postpaid cell No [protected], since 2 years. six months before i went to abroad for my personnel and business . that time i dint paid the last bill amount. the amount is 8000/- so the airtel authorities disconnected my cell. after returned from aboard i approached Hosur air tel office they said u pay the amount the connection will be back to you. the same i paid into installment the last amount i paid 3000 on 27/may 2013 .
            i many time went to HOSUR air tel center they asked my to submit address proof and i submitted twice. and approached many more times till now they dint reply properly nor they reconnected my cell and i mailed to airtel e mail address. they also not helped me. on 1/8/2013 they called me by another cell number [protected] and made enquire about my address and other details.
            Hence i request you kindly look into this matter and reconnect to my [protected] and thus oblige.

              I bought a recharge voucher worth rs25 two days before from a retail shop nearby my home. scrached it and tried to recharge but getting flash message says "The voucher type is not accepted!" tried many times using different phones too but still not worked. Called custemer care and talked them 3 times about this matter, they asked the serial number of the voucher and I said them ( is [protected] ).
              they checked and said there is no problem with that, It would work so try again or contact the retailer.
              still not working !! what should I do?

              Dear Sir,
              On 06/03/2010 at 1900 hrs I was shocked to learn that I had a caller tune on my no.[protected] which I had not subscribed to.
              As an aggrieved customer I promptly informed Customer Care.My call was taken by your executive Mr. Karthik (Ref no: [protected]-Complaint no.198) who was very saucy and downright insolent and not the type of person who should be in customer care.
              After my incessant calls to Customer Care and pleas the service was deactivated but Rs 15 was deducted from my account.
              Even though the amount in question is small it is a question of principle Airtel should have courteous and knowledgeable customer care executives to redress the problems of its customers in an efficient rather than in an abrasive manner.
              I am herewith sending a copy of the same to the consumer court as I have been dealt unfairly with.

                My name is NAVEEN B R..I'm using AIRTEL sim from november 2012..NUMBER IS [protected]...
                From past 2 weeks I'm not getting calls from any IDEA number..I'll get call from all other networks..I've called customer care many times..They are telling there is no such problems in my sim...But i'm not getting call yet..
                Also for this reason I've changed my handset...I'm here by requesting to solve this problem as soon as possible ..

                i am not getting incoming calls from other networks,landline phones and std calls from past two years.in spite of giving many complaints they have not yet rectified the problem.so,please tell what steps could be taken against them.

                  I have airtel fixed line and broadband connectivity.Both Internet & fixed line service stopped working on 2/Aug/2013 and till now its not resolved. I called airtel customer service several time, but they give the standard response of "It'll be resolved in 24 hrs". But several days has gone past and the issue is not resolved it. In the past 6 months I have faced similar issues more than 6 times. The way in which airtel treats it's customer is very bad and disgusting. If the issue is not resolved immediately, I'll go ahead and disconnect it.

                  AirTel — Connectivity issue

                  I am using airtel mobile no [protected].I stay at Faridabad Sector 21D.10 months back i shifted from first floor of my building to 9th floor.Since then i am facing the problem with airtel there.mY calls go blank, my phone gets disconnected during the call.I made a complaint with Customer care and they sent some people for survey 2 months back.But since then i have been asking for the solution but i have to hear that they are waiting for the survey report.My business is getting effected due to this problem and i have to use my personal land line for making the calls.
                  Kindly suggest.

                  I, the undersigned, had booked on 15.02.2010 for Internet Connection on a Plan of Rs.799/- unlimited through your representative Mr. Narashima - his Mobile No.[protected] [who works for your franchisee here in Bangalore].

                  The connection was promised within 4-5 working days. However, the reasons are best known to Airtel in not giving connection so far. And, even after 16 days, there hasn't any news from you nor whether connection will be given or not is stated by you- services of your is a 'big' question mark? I am disgusted with your services.

                  Now, we do not want the connection at all, and seek for a refund, as the time has exceeded beyond your promise as well not fulfilling your committment. If you cannot refund, kindly tell me - further action will be taken on Airtel through consumer court.

                  Since other agency(s) are ready to give immediate connection, and bestow better service, I am compelled to opt for them.

                  AirTel — Connectivity Issues

                  I am having a lot of problems with my airtel connection in pune. I have a post paid connection and i stay in warje. Most of the times when i am at home there is no network at all. And then i take my mobile to a particular place and after 5 minutes of struggle i can connect to some number. I recieve a lot of complaints from my friends saying that they tried my number but in vain. Unfortunately my husband also has airtel number so the problem becomes even more worse. I complained 2 months back and they say the status is still open as if it would ever be closed. They only falsely claim that the network team is still workin on it. I am totally enraged and seek an answer to it.

                  AirTel — broadband issues

                  It has been 10 days since my Airtel Broadband is off and according to Airtel it will take another 6 weeks to rectify the problem. I fail to understand Airtel's incompetence. If it takes 6 weeks to fix a problem, then why provide such services and harass the customers. AIRTEL HAS BECOME SO USELESS AND THEIR CUSTOMER SATISFACTION VALUE IS NIL AND THEY REALLY DON'T CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS. EVERYTIME YOU CALL THEM, THEY ARE LIKE WE WILL CALL YOU BACK IN 2 HOURS AND THAT NEVER HAPPENS. LOOKS LIKE 2 HOURS MEANS A LIFETIME FOR THEM. IT IS SO UNPROFESSIONAL AND UNETHICAL FROM A COMPANY LIKE AIRTEL. THEY SHOULD BE LITTLE MORE CONSIDERATE TOWARDS ITS CUSTOMERS. THEY REFUSE TO PROVIDE ANY ALTERNATE INTERNET ACCESS OR ANY SORT OF COMPENSATION.
                  I bought Airtel sim card about 5 years back [ [protected] ]. All of a sudden before 5 days the outgoing facility is not available. On querying its revealed that ID proof is required for re-activating. And while submitting the ID proof to the Airtel retailer[ Vayuputhra marketing, OCF Road, Avadi, Chennai-600054 ], people over there refused to get the documents. Same happened with other retailer also. Tell where I have to submit in Avadi retailer. "Don't make me to run here and there".

                  Airtel Broadband — Issues with airtel broadband

                  I took a new Airtel connection on 28th April. It worked fine for 2 days, however since then I have been facing issues one after the other.

                  May 1st- No link. Complaint given. Do not have the complaint number for this one. No action taken

                  May 3rd- Another complain given :[protected] again no action taken. I called on 4th again and took the number of the technician. On asking he simply, said, that it comes under the warranty period of installation team and they are not concerned. They should have passed it on to installation team, however, dont know what happened. I went thru my call logs, called the installation guys and they said, some part needs to be replaced at the back end and they replaced it.

                  Not a single call/communication was from their end. Everytime, it was me who had to call and know the issue.

                  May 6th: Not able to download files. Gets disconnected while downloading. Complaint given: 46069466

                  No action till 9th March: The complaint was marked resolved on 9th May, with the comment, the technician had come to my place and re-configured the modem, etc. No one had visited. Reopened it. Kept following up to no avail. The installation team or the technical person didnot bother to pick up the call once they knew it was me calling them. Called multiple times to customer service in between. Escalation team gave assurance on 9th that, the connection will be fixed by 10th afternoon. And No one till 11th or the connection was not fixed. Escalated it to Nodal_officer, and got a response from them on 18th May. Some one came and fixed.

                  May 18th: Raised a request to buy a wifi modem/router. #46529082 I am yet to get it. No call yet from their side.

                  May 21st: No Link. Complaint # 46664712 . No response. called the new installation guy on 22nd who had showed up on 18th. He came visited the house in the evening. He said, splitter not working. connected direct. In the night again the link went down. Since then I am juggling with the wires, with splitter, without splitter, playing with wires, every time the link goes down.

                  Some one had again closed that complain, without even bothering to call me.

                  Now, what are the option I have got here? they have taken Rs.1300 in advance itself and I am yet to be billed for the full amount. I have not been able to use the connection without issues even for a week.

                  The customer support is the worst I have ever seen.

                  Could you please specify which complaint has been resolved with the complaint number?
                  What compensation do you offer for not meeting your SLAs to the customer? If not, is the SLA just a joke?

                  Just for your information, I am yet to receive a call from airtel folks. The following request was by me to buy a router, I have not received any wifi router, so this obviously is not resolved.

                  May 18th: Raised a request to buy a wifi modem/router. #46529082 I am yet to get it. No call yet from their side.
                  What happened to this?

                  I got one call for a gentleman and he gathered the details saying he will get back to me with more information. No communication after that.

                  By the way, is it standard, that the connection keeps going bad time to time? I am still playing with the wires, connecting direct and thru splitter to get it work at times. Is the issue really resolved?

                  But still now no one is not taken action plan. Yesterday I spoke to escalation manager said he will update the status and give resolution for the issue before 11 AM till now didn't receive any response. Poor customer care service.

                  Unexpected from AIRTEL. I would like to reach out the higher athourity on regards.

                      Complaint was registered via email on 26th July that the internet services are down, however, a lame response came from the technician who visited 3 days after , saying, the wire is broken outside and will be resolved in FEW DAYS.
                      When the SLA is 48 hours, how can the technician simply walk away by saying that it will take few more days?
                      Moreover, i have been following up via email since the same day but nothing has been done apart from fake assurances whicha re of no use as the internet service is still not active.
                      if Airtell cannot provide a timely response for esuming services, why do they promise for resolving something which they cannot keep upto.
                      Pathetic services of Airtel broadband experienced so far.

                      Airtel Broadband Services — Airtel Broadband Services

                      I am holding an Airtel Broadband Internet connection for nearly 2 years. In January, I have asked them to switch my connection from 999 scheme to 799 scheme. I was under an impression the plan has been changed but it didnt get reflected in February Bill.
                      Checked with Customer Support and the response was they didnt get any request regarding this so far. This was told to me by their Customer Support executive named Jayashree, for now atleast she has raised a request with no 17474066. Have to wait and see how far it works.
                      II have raised my request to Airtel representative (Jamanna [protected]) twice for the scheme to be changed.
                      I have been following up with these guys for more than a week to get it resolved. But the response was really bad from two of their executives Pushpalatha and Pradeep. Several times they told me they will get back to me but is never heard off. I have asked them if they cant resolve it atleast disconnect my Broadband connection then I can go for another Broadband Sevice but is never being heard .

                        Hi my name is Ravi, two months back i have taken Airtel prepaid connection from one of Airtel dealer in pune i submitted all documents and i got a message from Airtel that my documents were updated successfully..my number is [protected].it has validity period upto dec, 2008.for last 2 days it is showing a message that your simcard registration failed.i approached Airtel gallery.they r saying that their computer is saying"subscriber is not available".they suggested me to take new connection.can anybody help me out. earlier i have a great belief on Airtel but now i came to know it is not a best customer supportive.
                        airtel customer service centers are totally
                        i am a maharashtra customer & i shifted to mumbai.
                        my balance was been unesesaryly deducted
                        continously saying it was for my last vas download.
                        almost Rs.500 were deducted this way over two months.
                        this is a trick of airtel to cheat people.
                        they send you a message that you can use some service for free for a certain period but there is always a catch to this.they dont inform you when the free subscription is over and continue deducting your money.
                        when i started facing this problem initially i ignored it.
                        but it became worse.
                        On 20th august my balance was -25 due to the stupid deductions.i recharged Rs.125 which gave me full talk time.Till i went to bed without making any calls the usual deductions took place and my balance reduced to Rs.60.The next day i got up yo see my balance become Rs.-4 and it went on to become RS.-20.
                        I went to an airtel customer service center which was close to my house & the guy there told me that as i was not a mumbai customer he could not help.
                        he told me there was an airtel gallery at a distant place &told me to go there he told me a landmark to locate the place.I reached the landmark which was about 1.2 km away.from there the airtel gallery turned out to be 0.5km away.when i reached there the guy ther told me to lift a landline kept there out of the 4 kept there .He said i would get connected to a customer care personel.when i got connected he too told me that as i was not a mumbai customer he could not help.
                        i told the guy in the gallery about it.
                        he told me the same not from mumbai .
                        I felt like giving that ashole a lot of badwords but refrained.
                        I used to feel sympathetic for the bpo employes my father shouted to on the phone.
                        Now i have changed my mind and now that what they get is what they desreve.

                        sir my mobile number is [protected].i am facing network problem from last 6 months, while airtel main office is situated aprox.2 km.near my home.please advice what should i do.
                        My Moblie No.[protected] . Today i make a call to customer care. i told thatIf i make local it charges 1 rupee they are telling that with out verifying my plan is Life time. Actually my plan is 2year. I put 34 Rs std pack, for me STD should be 1 rupee, other call should be normal tariff. but local calls also taking taking 1 rupee.they told me verify the expirey date of my card. i checked it is expiry on 31st July 2010. once again i make a call to customer care tell the same problem they are disconnecting the while speaking, this is irresponsible for your customer.
                        what is the use of customer care. for nosecutting the customer, you are providing care?

                        I have filed a complaint to the Airtel Customer Service of which my complaint no. is[protected].
                        I have been repetedly calling to follow up on the case as for the past 5 days I am unable to recieve any calls on my phone, or send any SMS.
                        I was initially told by Airtel Customer support that Call divert was activated. I dont know how! I have never ever activated it.. Well nevertheless nothing has happened and the answer if anyone tries to call my no. it says unreachable or Switched off...
                        The messages to dont go depite the fact that the service centre no. is also right.

                        I m an airtel prepaid GSM user of Dehradun. I am facing alot of problems related to network .The signal strength is too low in Ladpur and Daipur areas of dehradun.Sometimes situation becomes horrible when it takes 10 -15 attempts to make a call with different types of recorded responses.it is very often to hear my mother's number that number does not exist or please check the number u hav dialed but after 10 -15 attempts call is made.I am unable to call any of TATA DOCOMO subscriber from my no from dehradun but as I go outside dehradun communication wth docomo users can easily done.
                        Regarding these issues i have complained a number of times but the customer support cell gives me the same response every time that your complain number is this and within few days your problem will be solved but I am still waiting for that day.regarding this i have made contact with nearest airtel outlet they are saying there is no issue with airtel in your area henece they cant do any thing.............

                        i hv been with airtel since 5 years and finally i shifted to bsnl using mnp. On 10th may 10.30 pm my current airtel connection was disconnected. But the new bsnl sim didnot get activated. I'm now having great trouble since I have to get a lot of important calls related to my job. When contacted customer care 1st time the "executive" said it would be ready by noon. The next time when i called, the "customer care specialist" told me that it would take 7days to get the problem solved. I'm now unable to make or receive calls, and my callers are getting reply as caller doesnot exist. Why the hell are these bsnl guys making trouble to us.????? . And they are saying connecting India.
                        My number is [protected]. I havent seen such a worse customer support network.

                        i have airtel prepaid service( [protected]) recently my no was activated with a utility service called filmybuzz (automatically) whereas i never activated it .An amount of 10/- every 3 days is deducted for this service .i called up 121 ( customer care ) and deactivated it . but when i recharged my no. again this month an amount of 10/- every 3 days is deducted again . I called 121 again but they did not respond helpfully rather hanged up the phone thrice then the no. could not be connected there after.(guessed they have locked my number from calling customer care). moreover the tollfree numbers do NOT CONNECT at all.( All the other numbers are tolled numbers.) please help because this behavior of the customer care executives and unnecessary bothering is not helping me at all.

                        I have applied for protability from BSNL to Airtel on 3rd May 2011. My contact number is [protected].
                        Today (7th Jun 2011) it has not changed the network. I got the msg from airtel saying that "Your request for Porting the [protected] to Airtel has been received". This msg i got on 2nd June 2011. Please make it as soon as possible to change my network to AIRTEL.

                        I too agree with the complaint, My mobile number [protected] receives unwanted sms from 55630, inspite of all stoped services this continues and eats my balance, as a precaution I have stopped re charging this number for vouchers more than Rs 10, when its urgent thanonly I charge for Rs 10 that to with very heavy heart, now I am planning to switch on to some other company, Airtel is doing very unethical business, I am planning to stop all my services for other airtel numbers also. Calling their customer service is futile.

                          I am saji from bangalore. I was using airtel 3g datacard [protected] for internet connection for last 2 years. Initially i used to pay rs.800+ for 1 gb. But since i was using it mainly for browsing i changed my plan to 300 gb for rs133 in april 2013. On may 4th i got a bill for rs800+ even though i used hardly 4 or 5 times for browsing.immediately i called customercare and informed them to cancel the connection. After may 4th i never used the connection. In june again they raised another bill for rs.800+.now i am planning to complaint in consumer court. I already informed my hr dept to inform all the 10,000+ employees about this.

                          Hi,
                          I am using broadband service from Airtel..I took broadband connection on 5th October 2007 .At the end of 1 month, I got a bill of Rs 41731 for only 1 month..Ideally it should go approx Rs 2000.
                          Immediately I logged complain(#2476556) about it..after several follow up, They conclude that Rs 36000 they are planning to wave off...Rest of the amounts I paid immediately..Now It has been 4 months, it is still reflecting in my bill..and now they have disconnected my services also and Sometime they give threat calls to pay that bill immediately if I go to their office or call them, they say this is still under process for approval .I have wasted huge time to follow up on this but still no result and waiting it to resolve since last 4 months .Please suggest me what should I do?

                          they cut my connection without prior information.and they force us to stay away from airtel and use any other service provider.
                          now they are behaving very rudely

                          dsl internet connection — request for disconnection

                          sir i have applied to disconnect the inernet connection, but nobody till now reort here to cut the connection ...please send someone to disconnect the connection
                          I am in Hyderabad, i got the fake bill from Airtel my general usage around[protected] per month, but due to sudden change in my location my bill went down to 2500 then i received a call from Airtel Cc regarding my bill ( why its so low this time..?) and in next month i was in hyd i recived my bill around 4600 out of them 2000 calls were around 35 to 40 seconds --- some calls are for incoming in roaming ( i used to disconnect every incoming call in roaming and used to make call for every incoming as charge are same for one india plan) but i was charged for every incoming call which i disconnected. and same i notice for o/g calls which somebody not pickedup due to his personal reason.

                          And when i did thecomplaint at begining her customer care were ready to give me weaver for all local calls for duration less then 35 seconds, but i asked her to give me weaver for roaming incoming call also then she noted down my complaint and they took 24 days to answer...
                          and the answer was very amazing


                          they said everything is ok from airtel side.. you picked the call for 35 second.. i am the heavy user for airtel my average monthly bill was around[protected] per month and i dont think anybody who will use mobile heavily will answer 100 calls in yes and no. so just guess there cheat... they coudlnt check anything and replied...
                          when i ask him to send me my CDR i oneself will check the details they refused, they just said they have sent me my itemizied bill and it's ok .

                          please suggets me what i should do. i want to go in consumer court against Airtel. if you know any good lawyer consumer case in hyderabad please let me know.

                          Now i want to disconnect it.I had filed a request for the same first on 16th jun 2009 in customer care.
                          They gave me assurance that my connection will be disconnected within 7 days(According to SLA).I had filed the request such that i can get the bill before 26th jun 2009 so that i can present the same in my company for reimbursement.After 16th i have called customer care around 10-15 times and every time they come up with different differnt issues.They say that they have resumed my connection by taking my consent but i never gave any consent.

                          And all becuase of this delay now my company will not reimbuese it and i have to pay it from my pocket.
                          Moreover to this now when i dial again to customer care then now a days i get a message "ur payment is not received so outgoing facility is disconnected".
                          while i have already paid the bill via check and amount has been deducted from my account.

                          I am really annoyed with the kind of service provided to me and it has troubled me alot.
                          I request you to plz take some action

                          AirTel — Double charged for internet connection

                          I am Rakhi Chatterjee resident of Gurgaon.I have been customer of Airtel for the past 10 years. For the past three years i had been going through lot of personal problems in my familiy front and was not checking the airtel bill properly as my daughter was just born and my father in law had just expired and my husban keeps travelling.This month when i checked my bill i saw that they have been charging me for multiple connection and charging double for the DSL connection.We had two connections till May and i had got one connection disconnected long time back.Even the telphone operator had visited my house and removed the other connection.
                          It was a shock for me when i realised that i had been paying double for the single DSL Line which i am using. I have almost paid more than Rs.50,0000 extra for the connection which i have not been using.
                          kindly look into this proble amnd help in proper resolution .It is very unfortunate that big comapnies like Airtelk who boast about consumer centric approach are so insensitive. I have been writing several mails to them for the past 2 months and getting a mail everytime which says that "we 'll revert in 10 days but there is no response form them' and they are shameless enough to send the Telephone bill with the same error again and again. I have told them that i am not going to pay the bill till my issue gets resolved but am not getting proper feedback form their end.Kindly help me as i want the refund of the extra money which i have paid for the past few yrs with interest.

                          In case you are a genuine agency then pls guide me and help me in this issue.

                          Airtel — AIrtel Broadband Lost My Faith

                          OK, I have been waiting for more than 2 months for Airtel broadband connection, to subscribe just after my exam gets over. I cancelled of going to my hometown just to spend my holiday with internet.
                          So, one of my friends in Kalyannagar referred me an Airtel agent named Santhosh, to contact for applying Airtel Broadband connection. So I contacted him last November month, and told him to be ready for 6-7 December, and come to my room with application form. I was so faithful to get good service from him, because of my friend advised me.
                          I rang him, and he came in my room on 5th December. I filled up the form and paid Rs. 1000/- for installation charges (extra Rs.100 for rotary seal and legal proof - as he charged). Before leaving he assured me of sending his technician on Monday or Tuesday for installation.
                          That's all, today 9th December and still no news and concerns from their side, and Santhosh is going on saying that they would be coming. But no news. I must tell that due to waiting for their arrival I even cancelled for moving out with my friends. So is this a joke or something?
                          All my friends said Airtel is the best service in Bangalore or say India. But it failed to impress me right from the beginning. There is a saying - first impression is the last impression. So, I will never and ever support or have trust with this irresponsive behaviour from Airtel. They lost my faith and trust.
                          Now it is my fear that I have been fooled by the agent, but still waiting to see the final result. Everyone says that connection should be given usually within 2 days. But in my case it's been almost 4 days.
                          My question is - is this my bad luck, or is it the true nature of Airtel? Irresponsive, overrated, or incompetent enough?
                          Anyway, my form/reference numer is - TBLR. 0025515. I shall be waiting till Saturday, and if I still don't get connected then I'm going to complain in Airtel Customer Center, cancel my subscription and shift to Tata Indicom, BSNL or other better services.
                          Let me wait, and this is my decision.

                          I urge to all the people that please think twice before deciding to take Airtel connection for yourself in future. Jai Hind!!!
                          I have applied today for new airtel.

                          Previously I applied for Reliance. I had a worst customer experience from Reliance Broadband team in Bangalore. I paid the money and submitted documents on Nov 1st week. I called 100times to customer care and in November last they said there is no feasibility in my area. Only after a month time they said this, that too with my followup. I canceled the request last week. They told they will refund the amount and documents within 4 working days. Now I am waiting for 10th day for reliance people to return the docs and money.

                          Never go for Reliance in Bangalore.

                          The above response from Manoj Kumar Srivastava is really nonsense. I did accordingly everything I need to do, now only I have to lodge a complaint in consumer court to get my money back.
                          I wrote an email to [protected]@airtel.in with my details like address, contact numbers and reference number but, there is no any response yet.
                          I contacted many time with Cusotmer Service team, and now they are giving me excuse as there is no feasibility in my area. That only means I need to take other connections.
                          And the agent named Santhosh also is also not receiving my calls.

                          So, here everyone beware of getting cheated by Airtel. It may be technologically advance, but not in human resources or services to the cutomers.

                          Airtel Broadband — Getting false bill even after no connection is being used

                          Hi,

                          On 2 dec 2009 I had requested airtel customer care to change my broadband connection to my new address which is hardly 1 km away from the old one.

                          They said it will be done within a week.. after that I called them 2-3 times than they said it will not possible to give connection to shashi garden area.
                          I said OK then please discontinue my account as I am not using net any more..

                          then I got a mail saying they have changed my plan from 649 to 249 on 30/12/2009.
                          I replyed back on 12/01/2010 that I have not confirmed any plan change and I need to close my account as I have no any connection of airtel.
                          I have changed my address and airtel has not provided any connection on new address.


                          I got reply that its ok..."we are disappointed to inform that we
                          are unable to process shifting due to no network area."


                          Then again they continued to send me bills for the month of Dec, jan, Feb, march


                          On 8th march I got a threatening call from Airtel customer care that you have to pay the bills tommrrow other wise we will do legal action against you.

                          I requested the person that I am not using any facility from Airtel why should I pay bills.

                          He said OK. pay Rs.400 as settlement then your account with us will be closed.

                          He sent a mail also regarding the settlement.

                          I paid 400 by internet banking ref. No.367732. only because I dont want daily mails or threat or calls from airtel.

                          After that I replied back to his mail attaching the screen shot of bill payment and reference no.

                          Even after that I am still getting bills for march.

                          When I replied back again that I have no due and no any connection of airtel pls dont sent any bills than They started sending same bill daily.

                          I am getting the bills since 4 days on my mail..



                          I am very very disaapointed by Airtel service. I was ready to get the connection if they had provided to my address.

                          This is to inform you that I am not getting my monthly bill on time. for last month I got my 2 months bill together and on top of that thy have charged me late fee charges where it was not my mistake.

                          I am really pissed-off with the service of Airtel. I requested for Transfer of
                          Broadband connection on 3rd Sep 2010 as I shifted to new house.In addition the
                          airtel guy came down and collected my documents on 5th Sep and charged Rs50/-
                          from me without giving me any receipt.

                          Despite my calls to Airtel for at least 100 times, I got the response on 21st
                          Sep that connection was not possible in my new area. Now, I have been slapped
                          with the bill for the period 5thSep to 4th Oct 2010. When I spoke to the
                          customer care,he was not only unsympathetic but also timid and said that I
                          should have requested for termination of connection. Now, my connection was
                          debarred from 3rd of Sep itself as I requested for transfer. So, theoretically
                          there was no connection at all.

                          My question to you is how can I request for termination of connection when
                          there is no connection???

                          When I said this to the customer care guy, he said that he was following the
                          standard process of Airtel.

                          Could you please help me as I am not going to pay the above bill at all as I have not availed this service and will never avail Airtel BB service in the future too. But Airtel bill dept is harassing me for no reason.

                          I went to Air tel Office at Tilak Road for above comp lent but the executive not reply me. As per them call to 888 for bill related query but the 888 number continuously engaged almost 1/2 hour. Your executive also try to contact you but they did not.

                          I get bouncing and fake bills from airtel company from 5-july 09 to May 10 but they give adjustments to me which i agree. I have taken Adjustment of Rs. 1000 from the period of 5-july 09 to 04- dec 10 and in between these the company also give adjustment due to there fake bill of Rs. 150+96 on billl of 5-sep09 to 4 nov 09, Rs. 100+85 on bill of 5 dec 09 to 4 jan 10, Rs.200 on bill of 5 mar 10 to 4 apr.10 without any information and then also they add additional charges of parallel ringing (rs.25 / month) along with their bill upto may 10. In between the also cancel my outgoing calls without any prior notice and made fake bills and appologise consumer. Again then i didn't check bills for 5-6 month because ii thinks the bills are right. But on checking bill of 5 Dec 10 to 4 jan 11 i found some unauthorize charges and complaint i get adjustment then also. But on next bill (which i didn't check due to going outstation) i pay Rs.575 to airtel company but on checking The bill of 5 Jan 11 to 4 Feb 11 which was of rs.309 i found some over billing on checking previous bill the is also very bouncing and fake billing. Then the bill of 5 Feb to 4 march 11 which was rs .588 was too fake and over billed. My telephone due to non payment was locked outgoing on 17 mar 11 and today on 18th my phone is completely cut off. And for non payment company executives regularly calls on no. at 10'o clock everyday from 1-3-11 to 16-3-11 which abuses the consumer

                          I want to say that this is wrong only with the consumer no one can pay more if he is cheated and company agree that there bills are false which is a case of 420 of false attempt. I want airtel to reduce there adjustment from their false bill and take only the value of my original payment.

                          Due to your bill collection center faulting I had not paid my bill properly so your company disconnect my connection

                          But your company made a bill which having date of November 2011 they said to me that it is rental fee.

                          But my question is that due to your fault I had not deposit my bill properly and you disconnect my phone and Internet, and I suffered a lot of in my business. Therefore why should I pay you rental of a disconnected phone.

                          And therefore please waiver it as possible as earlier, otherwise I would think for disconnect permanently my phone from your company.

                          i have[protected] no. from airtel. i was agreed to waive off Rs.2000 and a receipt was given to me. but they did not update their record and included that 2000 rs in their next bill. they also disconnected our line. even after regular complaints they didnt responded to it.

                          I was using airtel broadband connection from past two years. in the month of july i applied for shifting of connection in the same city. They told me shifting will be done in another 20 working days. but no one responsed back to me regarding this, when i contacted airtel customer care, they told me there is no request raised regarding this and they have billed me for the month of aug and sep too...now they are saying if i will not pay the bill, they will take me to court . This is simply bull , they are not only irritating customers but they are also loosing faith in us.

                          One gilr from airtel name Preeti used to call me and tell the same thing to me again and again to pay the bill which in proper i should not pay.
                          Airtel is becoming a bull company now, they are un necessary charging their customers. I hope consumer court will take action against this.

                          AirTel — Broadband data card

                          I have an Airtel Broadband datacard connection which I have been using for the few months. It’s a 6 GB download . However I have been facing a problem with the download limit. My speed reduces to 256kbps after just around 2-3 GB downloading. I have placed many complaints with Airtel .They have done nothing to solve the problem. I don’t see a reason to keep paying for their very expensive service . My speed reduced to 256Kbps in a matter of 10 Days. They are definitely cheating me. I will gladly pay for services that I use. I am posting this in hope that my issue will be resolved and that i may be able to use the full 6 GBs of my package which is rightly mine. The bills of Airtel is very different. When a download happens it starts 2 billing at the same time. Could someone advise me.

                          Airtel is not confirming the disconnection so that they can continue raising fake bills. I removed the sim card from the data card in may 2013 since i was not using it. Still they raised fake bills.
                          I already paid these fake bills on saturday. Then i contacted the customer care to disconnection. Now they are telling they didnt receive any service requesr.

                            I have been using Airtel Broadband connection ([protected]) since 2010, as i had to relocate to Marathahalli, i requested to transfer the connection to Marathahalli in Airtel customer care centre (Koramangala 5th Block, Bangalore). Since there was no feasibility in Marathalli i raised a ticket (service request) for the cancellation of connection on April 27, 2013 by calling Airtel customer care number. I had done the April month's payment on May 04, 2013 and Rs 500/- was waived off since i had cancelled the connection. I also have the bill for the April month's payment.

                            The customer care executive mis-guided me by saying that they will check if the connection can be provided to Marathahalli and kept it on hold. After 2 weeks i received a call from Airtel saying that they cant provide connection to my current location and again a created a ticket for cancellation. Airtel has been generating bills after the cancellation and the connection i still active as of today (August 9, 2013). I keep getting calls and e-mails from Airtel for the payment of bill, which I have not used at all. Recently i also received a mail regarding legal proceeding and also the bill has come upto Rs. 3473/-

                            I kindly request you to cancel my airtel postpaid connection immediately.

                            My Airtel broadband connection number is: [protected].

                            Please help me out in this regards. It has been very frustrating for me to go over this.

                            Hi,

                            I have requested to disconnect my airtel phone on 5-7-2009.

                            But the airtel is not disconnect my phone and every months they are sending me the bill.

                            On july they told me to pay the outstanding bill and also told me that if you pay the bill we'll disconnect your phone but they didn't disconnect the phone and sending me the bill.

                            Even i called the customer care to disconnect the phone too many time.

                            Every time the people humiliate us and threaten to pay the bill.

                            I have all complain id which they have given me at the time of complain.

                            They have disconnected my phone even sending me the bill every months but not permanently disconnecting the phone.

                            bharti airtel broadband connection — cancelation of connection

                            i called their customer care on 14 oct 2009 for shifting my connection from chandigarh to panchkula and approached their customer relationship centre but no body responded relationship centre has given me one no. but nobody was picking the phone on 18 oct 2009 complaint no. 838409 i called airtel customer care and said that whether they can shift my conection or not if they are unable to shift so please cancel my connection on 19 oct 2009she said she will be givivng me discount of 20 % i said i m not interested in discount but i want to shift my connection she said some one call me later but she responded my complaint that she retained me, when i saw that my connection is still working i called on 22 oct 2009 the person said that he is transfering my call to his senior but no one responded till 30 minutes no one is listening my request please help me to come out this mental trauma.

                            Airtel — Bills for cancelled conection

                            Hi,

                            Airtel outlets are useless for catering customers. why we visit the outlets in person instead of speaking with customer care so that query should be resolved face to face but what the people sitting there do they dial the customer care no. and tell us to talk with them when we talk with customer care they always say system is down and if we tell to transfer the call to floor manager they cut the call.
                            We had stopped using the connection in Dec’09 also filled the forms and they told us that final settlement is Rs 800 and some change we paid that.
                            Still I got bill of Rs 4000 in Jan’10 and they are harassing us like anything.
                            Also in the outlet we saw 7 to 8 customer shouting for bad service.
                            One had come for roaming service problem as he is from MP and has roaming service problem in Bangalore those people are telling to him go to MP and call customer care as they cant help.
                            Another person cheque is lost from airtel drop box he has 5 connections and said he will cancel all connection.
                            When we asked for Branch Manager they said she has gone for lunch, when she will come means they said don’t know and might not come later they are saying she is on leave.

                                  Early today [09 Aug 2013], I was recharging my mobile for Rs.500 and felt cheated. Where I expected a talktime of 500 or thereabouts, Airtel messaged to tell me I've been credited with Re 1/ [Repeat Rs. 1] worth talktime. The message further told me that I've been charged a processing fee of Rs.448.45 [!] and a service tax of Rs.55.55.

                                  What the huge processing fee --of Rs.448.45 out of Rs.500 -- is for, I haven't the haziest idea. Nor could I unravel the mystery.

                                  I then repeatedly called the customer care [what a tedious job it was]. Each call, I was greeted by recorded messages and I had had to wait a long while before I could get to talk to Airtel's Customer Care 'Adviser.' These executives -- I spoke to three of them -- were of No help; they would forward the call to a supervisor who would either not pick it (the bell was going for many minutes) or would simply cut my call after putting me on 'hold.'

                                  And, lo, the consumer was debited for each of these customer call complaints. In my case, I was made to pay Roaming Charges, to boot. What's more, I spent so much time on an exercise that was to prove so futile. I'm a student to whom time and cash are hard to come by.

                                  In the event, I was forced to recharge the mobile a second time.

                                  Airtel has disappointed me. What do I do as a consumer?

                                  Airtel-pre-paid services, — Cheating by Airtel

                                  Sir,
                                  I am very disappointed by the services provided by airtel for the last 4 (four) months. Previously I use to suggest people that the services of airtel is the best among all services provider, but now it is just opposite. Iam the life time plan user of No. [protected] for the last 2 years. since Feb'08 whenever I recharge my account with top-up, the airtel deduct amount from by balance some way or the other. On 4/3/2008 I received a sms from no. 64611050 read as "Thank you for using Airtel Services. Find your dream job...etc. " and thereafter I find my balance reduced by Rs.50/- and again on 5/3/08 I received the same sms and balance reduced by another Rs.50/-. I call the customer care services but could not gave any satisfactory answer . He told that I have down loded something, whereas i have not even surf the" Airtel Live" since Nov.2007.However I requested him to stop the services of "Airte Live" and also requested to stop all promotional calls. Configuration of the Airtel Live was deleted from my set next day, but i received again a sms on 11/3/2008 form No. 64611030 read as "Your subscription to the on demand service on Airtel Live has been renewed...etc." and this time deducted Rs. 30/- from my balance account. and I surprised to see " Airtel Live" is activated again. When I contacted customer care service 121, replied that the decuction is towards activation of music station, whereas I have not made any such request. I told them to stop all such activation, but it was not stopped. Then I started recharging my account with smaller amount. i.e. 'Rs.25/. But still it doesnot work, I stated receiving sms from Nos.[protected] dated 10/4/2008, 20/4/2008, 22/5/2008 and No.[protected] dated 2/5/2008, read as " Your subscription to Airtel Live music on demand has been renewed for 10 minutes...etc" and each time deducted Rs. 10/- to 20/-

                                  I am surprised to know how the service provider renew or provide such services without the concent /request from the customer. If this is the way to deal with the "Life time validity" plan customer, then I must say the company will only lose its valuable customer.

                                  I am fed up of this type of cheating and extortion by this service provider and decided to quit the service.

                                  Airtel — Indifference of Airtel towards loyal customers!

                                  Sir,

                                  I have had a pre-paid connection [protected] that was converted into a post-paid connection in July 2006. My pre-paid connection had a balance of more than Rs. 3000/- surplus with the Airtel at the time of conversion from pre-paid to post-paid. The conversion process was carried out in the Vikas Puri branch without any credit in my account. I was assured then that my surplus with the company would be taken forward in the new account which may take some weeks or months since the pre-paid and post-paid departments are independent. Needless to say the behaviour of the staff handling my case was not so much consumer-friendly and I was asked to fill a number of forms typically like a Govt. office.

                                  It is a pity that I was compelled to pay my monthly bills on the post-paid connection without any information about my surplus with the company. My two written requests / complaints to Airtel Nehru Place office went unattended and my telephonic request to umpteen number of Consumer Service Executives at 121 bore no fruits whatsoever.

                                  Airtel must see that its loyal customers are being simply harassed. I see no reason
                                  why I should be paying my monthly bills as long as the company owes me more than Rs. 3000/-.

                                  Compelled with such indifference, I had to request for keeping my connection in abeyance since June 2007 and it continues to be closed eversince simply because the company refuses to take any action. Meanwhile, I have visited Airtel office in Vikaspuri for resolving the problem atleast ten times. The dates I visited and lodged complaints are: Request no. 13063977 dated[protected]; Request no. 13137913 dated 6 July 2007; Next visit 29th September 2007; Next visit 19 October, 2007; Next visit 24 November 2007.

                                  I urge your portal to kindly interven and get resolved the issue. I am really keen to use my phone now that I am a senior citizen and and I need it badly to take care of my ageing father.

                                  Airtel India — Bad Service and cheating the customer

                                  I have a Airtel Post Paid connection number [protected] in B'lore which was taken recently. From the day one I have been facing problem. Initially the clip service was not working for 3 days; only after calling the call centre of Airtel for thrice the problem was solved. They have taken the charge for clip service in advance but not giving the service. Then after few days on Oct 6th my out going service has been barred. On contacting them they have said that the residence verification was done. I just have to say that the verification is not my job and that has to be done by the company and for the fault of the company the customer is getting penalized. I want to take some action against it as I have faced a lot of problem in my personal and official life.

                                  I would surly not advice to go for Airtel now.

                                  The complaint is i bought this airtel number 1 month before and after 15 or 20 days i have gone out of station and i was not able to use airtel service over there.So because of that i switched of the mobile and went.I returned back to chennai after 20 days on 27/11/08.I know that there was no balance in my mobile.So i went to a recharge shop and made a recharge for RS.132(97 booster+35 easy recharge).The recharge was made sucessfully.After recharging i made call.To my surprise i heard a computer voice saying that "UR OUTGOING CALLS ARRE BLOCKED DUE TO NON SUBMISSION OF DOCUMENTS, PLEASE SUBMIT THE DOCUMENTS TO UR NEAREST DEALER OR AIRTEL OFFICE".On the next moment itself i have submitted the document to that dealer.But the next day on 28/11/08 at 2.07 pm my mobile tower was blocked and my sim card registration has got failed.When i contacted customer care people i got a reply that due to failure of verification of documents my SIM CARD has been blocked.
                                  I accept that there is a mistake on ME.But my question is while blocking by outgoing calls how could they can make my recharge sucessfull."WHAT HAPPENED TO MY RS.132.wHY IT COULD NOT BE REFUNDED.WHAT WOULD HAPPENING TO ME IF I HAVE RECHARGED FOR Rs.1000".aIRTEL CHEATED MY MONEY AND CHEATING SO MANY PEOPLE LIKE THIS.Please make this as a very serious complaint.Airtel must pay me 1000 times penalty to me for cheating me.Please make it a very big issue and do something before so many peaople gets cheated.

                                  A call came for me from my friend, I attended it and finished talking. I then received a message from "Last sms cost:rs.20 " and i ran out of balance.Then I saw a message that you have been subscribed for pocket radio. Then I called customer care, it was not going. I tried several times. Then I left it. Some actions should be taken against them for doing like this.

                                  I am prepaid subscriber of Airtel Number [protected] (Bangalore). I am going through tough time now- thanks to airtel and feel cheated. I have raised many request to rectify the issue that I was facing on my number. The issue was, I have recharged for 28 INR with Transaction ID [protected] on January 25th 2011 for STD calls at 1 INR for 3 minutes for One month. After one month, this plan expired and I was getting my normal billing of STD @ 50 Paise per minute till one week. After one week the STD was again charged at 1 INR for 3minute which I didn't want to continue. I raised many requests to resolve this and the customer care used to give a time line of 24 hrs and they never resolved this.
                                  Due to this I decided to move out of Airtel through MNP ( UPC Code AX666471) to Vodafone. I received a call from Airtel to stay back in Airtel and they offered a new tariff and asked me to cancel the existing MNP request. I made it clear that I wont send the cancellation request until the plan is activated. Per the agreement Airtel should have activated the new offer today (Saturday April 30th 2011). Still the STD is charged at 1 INR instead of the new offer (2 Paise per 3 Second). They have rejected my MNP request stating "contractual obligation" even without activating the new offer. Please have a look in to this issue and resolve it at the earliest.I am having a very bad time now.The customer care executives are giving false promises. Either activate the offered tariff or let me move out of Airtel per TRAI policies. I have talked to Mr.Sanjeev Kohli, Unit Manager,Bannerghatta Road and raised yet another complaint with number [protected]. Please see that at least this time the request is resolved once and for all.

                                  Hi. I can see through your concern quite clearly. Can imagine what a problem it would have been to a student, in particular. To be fair to Airtel, they don't discriminate, perhaps! Take my case. I myself am of a different category. Agewise, I mean. Yes I'm a senior citizen. Some time back, I had had a similar experience. On that occasion, I also got a talk time-credit of only Re 1/ when recharging for a sizeable amount.

                                  Why do such recharging hassles happen, in the first place? We're in an age when we're encouraged to do things like this online. I'm not suggesting that that the country's No.1 telecommunication provider leaves loopholes rather deliberately to exploit. Surely, I would say that Airtel should ensure there's No room for such mistakes ever to occur. Mistakes do slip in sometimes, possibly, but the operator should readily make amends and give the talk-time due to the consumer, without demur.

                                  The comments about Customer Care are quite valid. Consumers do oft feel they are taken for a ride. Can't just understand why they should pay even to make a complaint or give their feedback. It doesn't behove Airtel, to say the least. Bad enough that the consumers are made to sit through a long promotional discourse by the company.

                                    I called in the customer care from my frinedns nimber which is an Post paid connectio0n first they started hanging up on me but later they told me that my SIM has been blocked and gave me complaint number and said every thing is done, Next day i call the customer care again and they say it has not been done and complaint number which i was give was no valid one and there was no record for my complaint.

                                    Hi,

                                    I logged a complain in Airtel on 18th Sep 2009 and few more complaints for the saame issue after that and my last complainwas on 22nd Feb 2010. Everytime they commit that the issue will be resolved or you will get a call back from respective team but till date i havent received any. I am facing a network issue in my locality and same has been faced by different people useing same service provider in that locality. Its an well known locality of Pune but still they havent done anything to resolve the issue and if they have done they are not telling whta steps they have taken. and they add the chare of all the extra calls made due to this issue in the bill. when asked them they tell we cant give u wavier (discount) more than 100 or 150 Rs irrrespective of the extra charges customer is paying. So i Havent paid their bill since jan 2010 and their billing and demanded that the day my complain gets resolved i'll pay my whole bill in lumsum and their billing department also agreed on this.( unfortunately i dont have any proof for this) But then also the disconnected my calling services and now they are demanding that i'll have to pay whole amount to secure my number and they wont give any wavier for the extra billing for the calls which use to get disconnected due to their network issue. and on an avg we have to dial atleast 3-4 a number due to this issue. Kindly look into the maater and do the needful.

                                    After arguments with the [protected]@airtell got the Rs. 10 refunded, but my call was charged Rs 1.50 for no fault of mine.

                                    I could not contact 50100 till today,even after trying hundred times.
                                    Can you penalise the company for such cheating and get me the money (Rs30) back along with Rs 1.50 charged for their own cheating system?

                                    Ther may be thousands of people beeing cheated without beeing noticed.

                                    My mobile prepaid no. is [protected] of airtel. I swiched terrif normal to one paisa per second plan before one year for lifetime. But this fraud company airtel charged me Rs. 1.00 per call. I think several people of this country must being fraud by them.

                                    1st Telemarketing call me regarding postpaid (billing plans) plans and than wen i convince all his plan than second day one executive comes at my home and fill the form and take documents about verifications and he also take money Rs. 300/- as deposite....

                                    now the problems is that time he not allot a new mobile number he told next day i will give u sumdatas of numbers list...
                                    now its takes too much time above six days..still he not provide me any number wen i call in office they not pickup the phone and even not answering my calls.. so i want to fine on airtel company.....

                                    i had applied for airtel broadband connection.my desired plan was unlimited high speed internet, so the airtel sales man visited us and told to start with alpha 3gb plan(649 rs, 2mbps,3gb limited) and then after 10 days we will change ur plan to a plan which was 699 rs,2mbps ,unlimited internet. so after 10 days i called him ,after several attempts he replied that sir i am suffering from depression and im out of station.so then he suggested me to call to customer careand say that i want to cancel the plan since it is expensive so unaffordable. so i called and came to know that no such plan existed.
                                    customer care registerd my complain and came up with retention plans which were nowhere near by my requirements or committed by their salesman.
                                    i request for some kind of action to be taken....

                                        On 30 july 2013 i have purchased the airtel 4G LTE wireless connection they provide me the wi-fi router and the sim card to me
                                        after all verification done they told me to switch one the router but that router is not working, the signal is not showing up and
                                        from that day to till now am calling to the customer care centre no body is helping me regarding this problem and i registered the compliant
                                        too after two days i call to the customer care asking about the compliant they are telling the compliant has closed because they are not able to contact me but nobody has called regarding this please help me otherwise disconnect the number give my money back mu old compliant number is 52095984

                                        My mobile no:[protected] I am a lifetime customer from last two years. But from last fifteen days when ever i call on this number from idea cellular other than any airtel number I just get the response plz check the number.

                                        My home town is in kerala. There the telephone code is 0479. Am working in Chennai. And my mobile number is [protected] which is Airtel. From this number i am not able to call any of the number starts with 0479 code, it gives the response as "All the line to this route is busy". If you try calling 25 times you will get once. But in real time, it wont even connect at all. And its not my number's problem. And its not the problem of destination number, because its not for one particular number, its all the number coming under that std code. The same problem persist for all the Airtel customers in TamilNadu. When trying those number from other operators, its working nicely. This problem i am facing from october 2007, in between i have given10 complaints through customer care. But those people don even understand what the problem is. Airtel provides the best mobile services in india, but it have the most worst customer care and back end people i have ever seen.
