We have Taken Airtel digital TV connection from TCH Hyderabad we paid Rs.2000/- but by mistake airtel people credited our money in some other person's A/C and when we are asking to sort out this problem then there manger Ms.homine Daniel said that it will take 5 days to resolve our problem. Now if this kind of big brand is taken that much time resolve customer's problem then there is no meaning of buying airtel digital TV I am really fad up with there services and if they are not going to take any action as early as possible then I am ready to file a police complain Against Airtel.

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    1. I, Amaresh Gunjan, am an old customer. I had an airtel broadband connection Number 45518736. The connection was installed and activated in
    May/Jun 08 at the address of 126 - GOODWILL Apartments, Sect - 13, Rohini, New Delhi - 85.

    2. Being an Army Officer, I was provided with a Govt telephone (MTNL) in Aug 08 and Hence I surrendered my airtel connection. After about 7/8 months, on 14 Apr 09, I got a call that a case of 'Cheating and Fraudulement' had been filed against me at the Tis Hazari Court, New Delhi by Airtel Company, for not paying an amount of Rs 1686/-. The details of the case are :
    File No 7723; Camber No - 515; Rajat Dixit ([protected]), Tees Hazari Court.

    3. I was shocked by the these allegations against a serving Army Officer in the Ministry of Defence, Govt of India. I was particularly surprised by the immature handling of the issue by your representatives. On checking back through your representative I was informed thta :Sir, do not take tension, everything is clear and thre was a mistake'. I need to clarify somethings and also need some clarifications :

    - Firstly, when I surrendered the tele connection, obviously I had paid all the outstanding dues to the best of my knowlwdge. Assuming, for a moment that a particular bill had been left out, then why I was not reminded through my mobile or my reference contact or through my email id, all these details were available wiyh you. If you could inform me through the same contact that a case has been filed, why could you not inform me earlier of the outstanding payment, if any.

    - Secondly, the charges that you have levelled are very very serious which besides dnting my reputation may cause harm to my carreer prospects. Do you think that the appraoch you have taken is the right way to deal with.

    - Who is going to account for all the pain, agony and mental tension going through me and my family members.

    4. Considering the above complaint, may i request the concerned officials to please look into the matter and give me a quick response. Pl do justice to your famed reputation.

      Dear Sir,

      In 2007, when i was working in ICICI Prudential Life Insurance Co., Jaipur at Vaishali nagar, I surrendered my airtel connection at Airtel office in Jayanti Market, Jaipur. But till now i have not received my reimbursement of excess amount.

      Now i lost my number, i talked to customer care representatives many times but no result is there, i admit some mistake from my side but hope do the needful.

      my some details regarding connection are:

      Airtel — Reimbersement from airtel

      On jan 10 th 2009 i have paid 550Rs for getting connection for airtel internet but because of the digging roads and giving connection to my house is a big problem and previously airtel had digged all the road for main cable so the committe members are not allowing the airtel persons to give the connection all this is the adminstration problem of airtel ofter one month also they have not given the connection and they have canceled my application but till now they have not retuned my money

      Airtel — reimbursement of excess payment.

      Dear Sir;
      My payment(6000 Rs)has to come from airtel. they are saying that they sent me cheque but i have n't received any cheque till now.
      this is issue is pending from last 6 month.
      Airtel is not giving any possitve response to me.
      So kindly help me regarding this issue.

        have applied for registration for my account on airtel postpaid by using ndmcdelhi as login id. they sent me a password via sms on my mobile but when i want to login again they dispalyed the message that registration failed due to mismatch of loginid & password

        i purchase a new connection the mobile no. is [protected] and sim no.[protected] packed january 2009 type h-2 card the proble is that not activate this connection by airtel side i want to start this connection plz understand my problem and solve this I expected you solve my prolem thanks for solving my problem
        I received a massage from AirTel to submit prepaid documents. After contacting customer care on 6-7-09 at around 8 pm I was told to submit the papers at M-5 Cannought Circus. When I went there in the morning around 10.30 to submit the documents but they refused to accept and instead directed me to contact at [protected]. I contacted the given number at around 11am on 7-7-09 and I was told that their man will come and collect the documents from my office address at ITO. When nobody turned up till 2 pm on the given address I again contacted and I was again told that the concerned man will be coming within an hour and he will contact you. At 5.30 when the Office was to close down I again contacted and I was told that the person will come tomorrow morning and will collect the documents.
        At around 9 pm I was surprised to see that my outgoing calls have been barred for the reasons best known to the AirTel.
        I am a AirTel connection holder since September 2002 and I do not understand what type of verification is to be done when there is no change in my residence, office and other particulars etc.
        This is really very bad on the part of the AirTel to bar my outgoing calls without any fault of mine. I have to made very urgent ISD calls today and for that I have to cut a very sorry figure to my relatives abroad.
        If this is the way to do the business then I will be forced to think over to surrender my connection.

They had given the Toll free no 578785 to hear the songs. so just i dialled that no and heared some songs. Then i pressed the Red button in my mobile and came out.. I did not activate any songs as my caller tune.. But they took 24 rupees from my balance... many times i called to customer care and informed them the situation. But no Responses...finally they told that we will deactivate your caller tune... But still that caller tune is in activation...Pls try to refund my amount which has taken from my main account wrongly...Or deactivate my caller tune...

        I wanted to recharge the mobile -[protected] through AXIS NET BANKING

        for Rs 50/ on 01/03/2011 and the message came" operating system not available,

        please try later". In this way I tried five(5) times on 01/03/2011 and on 02/03/2011

        one(1) time . But six times my S/B A/C -[protected] was debited

        @ Rs 50/ each totalling Rs 300, but the mobile [protected] was not recharged

        a single time.

        Please look after the matter so that my A/C was credited for Rs 300

        or my mobile may kindly be recharged for Rs 300.

        i had applied for upgrade from dish tv to hd..at the time of online purchase your employee had offered 14hd chanels free for 15 days..but after hd installation they say that there was no such offer..i[censored] cant provide y do u give such type of comittment to us...only to have yr targets..yourl cheat the customers..i have spoken to yr customer care executive but no response..very bad service
        I was using Airtel postpaid and later I shifter from postpaid to prepaid, because I got one more post paid connection. I was not interested to cancel this number, because, I gave this number to most of the people. I recharged and the balance was approximatly Rs 60/-. I was not using this number for calling, I am using only for incoming calls. after 2 months of time i was checking I shocked, because the balance was .17 paise. I enquired the customer care, they wewe telling that, you have enabled one portal, for that everyday Rs2 deducting. I asked them, I not activated any thing. they were telling that, I am seeing this and telling. i asked, what is that exactly? They told that, That is the one devotional song portal, you will get everyday massage from one number about devotion. i told her, till now i didn't get any massege from them. Can youc check ant tell me when and what massege I recieved from them? She got confused and she replied that I dont know sir, now i am cancelling this servise. She was careless about others money. Then i asked her, ok, to whom I need to contact for further clarification. She is telling that, you need to contact us only. If i call them, they are escaping and they dont know any thing.

        The Airttel is doing lot this kind of things. Sure this company will get effect of this mistakes. They may think that, peoples are foolish, they are not thinking on this, but peoples are too smart and they react very smartly. Definetly they will pay hugely for their this kind of neglegency and too worst support.
        Airtel, please dont make people foolish, they are also like you, dont hit thier stomach and try to make money, if that is the case, sure one day you will close the company very shortly. Hope that day will come very soon. Try to correct your mistakes. Dont try to make money in wrong way, that will not be permanent.

          I am a prepaid customer to Airtel ([protected]) for the past 6 years. Last december (dec 2008) i changed my ECS mandate so that Airtel collects monthly bill from this bank. Though their call centre claims the airtel records are upadated with the new bank. The bills are stilling going to old bank forcing me maintain the old bank. I made around 50+ calls to their call centre and sent several emails without any positive result.

            The recent issue i faced was bill payment - They have new option to pay bill on there website where in you don’t have to login to pay the bill for customer support.
            I was more than happy to use that option and paid the bills. The amount was deducted from my Savings account and said credited to the Airtel on the webpage.

            The major problem started here.
            After 2 months the amount is not yet reflected in the my mobile no. account.
            Funny part today they removed my number from Airtel Network... cheers...
            Greatest Gift from Airtel for being a customer for past 7 years and paying all the bills in time.

            Well with regard to above issue i have rasied series of complaints -
            1. I raised a complaint on 8th of march, which was later closed some how without any reason
            2. new complaint i rasied on 13th march. Where did thsi complaint went i dnt knw
            Every time i called them up i have to explain my story to them. Funny part the CC represtitive does’nt know what is credit card and what is debit card . I have explain them what is debt card.
            3. On 18 march i raised another complaint
            4. I again called up on 23, 24, and 28th of march to enqurie issues. No update provided
            mean time i got message saying that they have handed over my details to recovey agent to recover mobile bill of 600 when I have already paid the bill.
            I knw in india companines know only rowdyism and nothign else. Nothing new
            5. Again called up on 4 April, 8 and 10 april. No updates . on 10th april they told system under updation so call me back after 13th.
            This is common issue, airtel systems are always under upgradation.
            on 16 th april my phone was out of network.
            When i called up they said i have due? funny all my complaints were bull shxx for airtel.

            Brief about my association with Airtel -
            I had been a customer of Airtel from past 7 years. I have been using all the services on the Airtel and currently I use two airtel numbers.
            The service
            for call and sms was good in the beginning i.e. in 2002 to 2005. but later on it started giving issues like call drops, no network, low voice quality. But customer support was good .
            By the beginning of 2008 i started facing huge call drops and bad quality voice calls. Internet service on airtel is useless from the time i had used it ( i.e. from 2005).
            Mean time I had chance to use BSNL and it fair far better in terms of connectivity ( in 2009 ) and call rates are good compared to Airtel.
            The cost we pay for Airtel is very high even today. But the customer support has become pathetic now.
            the call drops are common now a days, call quality is very bad. Customer support ppl dont knw what they are doing or they are really not fit for that job.

            I am just awaiting for the number portablity to come in and immdeatly i will move to other operator. The call charges will be very low compared to airtel, i can save 50% of the cost.

            Everytime u call them they give u new consumer complaint no. and they close the call without informing you and not resloving the issue.

            Well i asked executive to open old complaint and activate my connection. and I promised him that i will move out of airtel as soon as number portabilty comes in.

            Hope now they will look at reslove the issue of this humble and loyal ( for past 7 years) customer and i can use airtel for another 8 to 10 months.

            The trend I am seeing now a days is all pvt telecom company is becoming pathetic and BSNL is bck in league eventhough pvt players try to stop BSNL by some crook method.

                  i have taken a post paid connection of airtel in the all india plan with the facility of ECS for my post paid bills to be debitted from my bank account every 15th of each month ..yet the customer care has sent me sms'es stating termination of connection if credit limit is not paid. if all of the terms and conditions for payment of bills have been fulfilled then the monthly bill incl the credit limit or its excess should be deducted from my acct on the prescribed date without disconnecting my number. please explainthe actions of your billing section.

                    Dear all,

                    I received a call from Airtel at the time of renew my plan & she told me some new benefits if I changed my plan from 998 to 1495 I received the same at my previous bill but when I did not get this benefits at this bill then I send a mail at 121 but they did not give me suitable Ans. & send me the 1495 plan again & again. You can see that how irresponsibly the read my mail as two times they right my No. wrongly. Now they neither reactive my old plan nor give me benefits as they suggest through a call. Please suggest what I should do for the same.For your information I want to describe again that according to call received from me
                    1. STD call should be Rs.1 min (already confirm from your executive)
                    2. 500 min should be free for Airtel to Airtel calling. As I already had 400 free min from last two years before your call on December.
                    3. Clip charges of Rs.50- should be discountable.
                    But they also block my miss calls SMS service which I had in my previous plan free of cost.

                    Note:I already mail the same many times to airtel for the same but they gave a very poor responce

                      I want to get rid of this thing...

                        Without my permission your customer care executive had deactivated my caller tune services on 10 April 2009, and then i called to CCE, he promised me that he will activate my same tunes again and no charge will be deducted because it was there fault, my validity will end on 20 April previously.but then again they have deducted my more Rs. 45 again.Total cost u have deducted from my account is Rs.150 from my account in one month, again i called to your executive, he promised me to pay me back within 4 hours, its already 48 hours passed, and I have not found any money back.My complaint no. is [protected].

                        IS THIS YOUR SERVICE, I AM NOW THINKING TO QUIT FROM AIRTEL SERVICES BECAUSE IT'S CHEATING.FROM CUSTOMER EXECUTIVE TO THEIR SENIORS ALL ARE CHEATERS AND FROD.THEY ALL DO FALSE COMMITMENT TO CUSTOMERS.

                        and again a sms saying the same thing rs 10 and again rs1 have been charged

                        i use Rs 98 airtel gprs plan and there is more then 1.5 gb of downloading is left and my gprs validity is may 24 2010..Now Can you tell me why i have charged Rs 110 from my main a/c when i browsing another site not this game.

                        i have never been subscribed to this content also and i haven't downloaded any content from java games com.Please solve this problem as i lost my credit of Rs.110 like this.Otherwise it shows an open cheating to all the customers. (in consumer court)

                          My Mob. No. is [protected] and the service on this No. is closed on evening of 14-04-09. Firstly closed the outgoing services and after sometimes the incoming calls also closed.
                          Before 3-4 days verification was also completed on Airtel Office(Gwalior).
                          This No. is very old and there is no problem on using airtel services regarding this No.
                          So, kindly inform me as soon as possible regarding this problem.
                          And also try to provide the services of incoming and outgoing to this No. I am facing so many problem because this No. is very important for me.

                            my no is [protected], i would request you to kindly change my billing plan as my bill is increasing every month, i require airtel retail plan which has rental of rs 150 per month and their r no clip charges as mention in website, but when i called at customercare n spoke to one of your agent they said 75rs extra for clip charges, kindly clear this confusion n let me know best billing plan.

                              Hi Airtel,

                              This is what I sent your nodal officers and Appellate offers but no one responded...

                              This letter is in reference to the Airtel Landline number I have which is[protected] which has the account number as 12364660.

                              One fine day I received the bill for this number for Rs. 5109 /- for the amount o[censored]sage that I did in a month which includes the renal + the downloads, that I made.

                              I was sooooo confused after this bill as I don’t use the internet too often, rather I hardly use it. Anyways I called in the customer service which obviously I should as a customer. I was told by the customer service representative that there are sure shot chances that I did not download stuff but I left the modem open and due to which the bill raised soo much and showed huge amount of downloads made by me.

                              I have a concern on this point; when I got this plan activated I was never told that I would need to always make sure that the modem is switched off to get a lower bill or to make sure that the download doesn’t happen automatically and I get a HUGE bill. If this is a case then Airtel should always inform their customers in advance about this Stupid policy, so that they don’t get confused and stay happy with the services.

                              Now, I got a letter from Airtel after just probably about a few days when the due date for the bill was over, which said that if I don’t pay the bill for Rs. 5109 /- I would need to face xyz scenarios. If I wanted at that time as the son of a lawyer I would have gone ahead and went against Airtel for MISGUIDING me (read the paragraph to see the Misguiding details). But I didn’t do so and called the number mentioned on the letter which is [protected] for a guy names SUDHEER. I called him and he said “sir I understand your concern and you can just pay Rs. 3500 /- and I will post an adjustment of Rs. 1730 /- and the moment you pay that to my executive (who I will be sending to collect the money) I will go ahead and open the outgoing + internet service for the above mentioned number.”

                              I agreed to the same and paid the money to him on 18th February then probably the same day he called me and said that “Sir I just made a request into the system that please adjust Rs. 1730 /- and that you have paid Rs. 3500 /- but I (Sudheer) just got a note in the system after that, that customer did not pay his bill of a Previous old number he had which is 0120 – 4115413 for Rs. 3094 / -. I simply asked him that how much should I go ahead and pay for this thing now. He said sir you could pay around Rs. 2300 /- and I will open the outgoing for you after settling you old number account. “

                              I then said that I don’t have money right now but I will pay next month which is March. Sudheer said okay to it (I ALSO HAVE THE RECORDING OF HIM ASKING ME TO PAY JUST RS. 2300/- TO SETTLE THE OLD NUMBER[protected].

                              Now comes the hardest part the OLD number[protected]:-

                              I called him today which is March 6, 2009 in the afternoon and I asked him to issue me a letter saying that Airtel did not go ahead and asked me for money since 2007 for the number 0120 – 4115413 neither any collections guy called me, visited my place to ask me money. Then Sudheer (Your responsible guy from Airtel) started telling me that I should have shown responsibility and paid Airtel right away at that time. I told him that I am not sure if I paid or not and neither I am denying that I did not use the number but who would remember if payments made by me or not, 2 years back in the past. Anyways I then said okay leave it, so I should go ahead and pay Rs. 2300 /- to get everything open and to settle the previous number which is 0120 – 4115413. But he simply went ahead and denied making any such offer to me. I then simply hung up the call. I then also said that, Sudheer why don’t you let me pay you the complete bill in small installment. You could just adjust the installment in every bill that I get from Airtel for the other number I still have and I will keep on paying that. He refused for that too…

                              NOW, is this what you call professionalism is from Airtel. Is that what you guys to your old customers. Why without me being informed the number was disconnected and services were barred, rather why did not somebody called for 2 LOOOONNNG YEARS and asked for money for the old number. Then suddenly after 2 years you guys woke up and simply blocked the other number without even asking me or at least informing me that there is an outstanding due of the old number 0120 – 4115413. Why ?????????? Why did that happen ????

                              Can somebody who is responsible enough call me from Airtel, somebody who is not from a Stupid collection agency you have outsourced your business to ?

                              Please let me know what should I do next ????

                                Hi,

                                I am Faheem Baig and my airtel mobile number is [protected].

                                I was using airtel post paid mobile for last 3 years. My bill was around 1000/- to 1200/- (average) a month. In the first week of November, 2008 i received a call from airtel about add-on card. The plan was good and i agreed to purchase the same. Their executive came to my home and collected Rs. 599/- and gave me the receipt and told you will get the card by courier. After a week sim was delivered to my home address but when i put the sim card in my mobile it was not activated. I called up the customer care but no one helped me, they wanted the mobile number for that new sim but mobile number was not sent to me, only sim card number was there. They told me to call back the executive who came to you to collect the payment, he will help you in better way. So i called the number given by him to me, but it was not reachable. He had given me other numbers also, i tried other numbers hardly one number worked and he told me he will look in my matter. But 2-3 days passed and nothing happened so i called him again but this time his number was out of service so i called other numbers but all the numbers were out of service. What a great dealer of Airtel!!!


                                I became crazy and suspicious and i called customer care again but representatives
                                repeatedly asked me for the mobile number which was not given to me, I told him to transfer my call to the supervisor and but he said no supervisor available this time. I called up after 2 days again then after 2 days again and again but not a sinble time supervisor spoke to me and every time i was told, supervisor not available or busy on another call... this made me frustrated and i told finally to cancel my services with airtel for present number and the new sim card, but that time he could not transfer my call to retention department and he told they will call you back with 48 hrs. but i did not receive any call from retention department even after 3 days, i called back to the customer care, and i strictly told wheter reslove my problem or cancel my services with airtel or transfer my call to supervisor than only representative transferred my call to retention department and i told them everything, the retention department executive was Anand and he assured me my problem will be solved and he will call me back, he also took the numbers of that executive who came to me to collect Rs. 599 for the add on card and also took other numbers. 2-3 days passed but no reply i called Anand, coz he has given me his number, but very surprise he did not receive my phone. I called customer care and told to transfer my call to retention dept. and i dont want to continue with airtel because no one is helping me at all, than my call was trasnferred to one team leader, i told him i am gold customer and you people are not caring for such customers, he upfrontly told me we dont care whether you are gold or silver... wat a team leader??? i called up again after 2 days and told to the representative i want to cancel my service immediately and he transferred my call to retention and my bad luck, there Mrs. Swathi was there to speak to me and she was tooooo rude to me. She directly told me we are not responsible for your payment and goto the executive to whome you paid Rs. 599/- and collect it from him only. I told her transfer my call to the higher authority, she said i am the senior person here, i told her transfer my call to manager, she replied i am here, and you have to speak to me only... How rude she was to me! What a nice retention team of Airtel! i can never forget such customer care in my life... I requested her to cancel my services but nothing happened, i am totally frustrated with the services which aritel is offering... specially customer care...

                                I paid Rs. 599 and filled up the form ( Form no. 603003) on 13/10/2008 and uptill now i am wandering for my problem and airtel new sim card is lying on my table.


                                The numbers exeutive gave me are- [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected], [protected].
                                and the executive's number was [protected] and name Abhinay Shukla...

                                I also went to airtel gallery thane and manager (Mr. More) took my complaint and told me i will get a call from airtel within 48 hrs, more than a week passed but no call. I called him again and he assured me i will get the call, 2-3 days passed nothing happened...

                                I put the cancellation request for my present number in the 1st week of January in the customer care dept. and also Airtel gallery but these guys did not cancel my number and still asking me to pay the charges and making my bill every month. They are calling me everyday to make the payment...This the month of April and every month they are generating my bill without any shame..and calling me to pay the charges.

                                So harsh and one of the worst Mobile company in the world...Airtel...

                                I have requested to unsubscribe the yahoozone services & games club services on my sim card. Still I am charged weekly for this services which I am not using as I am presently abroad. I requested to cancel the services earlier and nothing happened till date. Once again request you to cancel the additional services on the sim card with immediate effect. Its is shame on the part of Airtel customer care department that they are not attending to the requests of the clients.

                                This is for your infromation an dfurther procedures.

                                Kindly do the needful at your earliest.

                                  With reference to the above mentioned subject, I would like to draw your kind attention to the following:

                                  1] I am a user of Airtel Mobile Service (postpaid) for the last one year and my Airtel Mobile No. is[protected]

                                  2] On 4th April 2009, Saturday, I went to your outlet at Borivali(w) and requested to discontinue my postpaid connection as I have taken some other connection vide request no. 21266547.

                                  But after some period of time I got a call from Mr Daya & one female person from your retention department asking me to not to discontinue my connection & they told me that if I don’t want a postpaid connection than convert it to a prepaid connection as they are having a good offers in prepaid.

                                  They told me to opt for Rs 45/- life time incoming free plan & they also given me waiver of Rs.100/- in my postpaid connection due to network problem which I was facing in past months. They told me that out of Rs 100/-, Rs 40/- will be credited in my prepaid account after adjusting unbilled amount on my postpaid connection of Rs.62/-(approx.) & this amount will be credited in my prepaid account immediately as & when my prepaid account will be activated.

                                  After two days I paid Rs.45/- for prepaid account & my account was activated on 8th or 9th of April 2009 but till today I have not got the credit of Rs.40/- which the persons from retention department of your company has promised me & on the basis of which I have taken this prepaid connection, otherwise I would have discontinued it.

                                  Since last three days I am calling your customer care services & personally visited your outlets in my hectic schedule but nothing is happened till date & response from your representatives is also very bad.

                                  May I request you to please inform / let me know at the earliest the exact reasons for such a long delay and credit my prepaid account with Rs.40/- at the earliest. With the advances made in present day telecommunication, instead of improving, Airtel services seem to be going from bad to worse, improve it.

                                    i am using airtail prepaid services from last 2 years
                                    now a days airtail has activited certain paid services
                                    on my phone without my cencent
                                    1 job alert
                                    2 word pack
                                    and from last 3 days i am receiving sms from 5888 which contain single
                                    word RS 3 what is this?
                                    we are using phone for our self but and we expect that provider should not share
                                    our number to any one but u are shearing it with lot of companies which keep
                                    on disturbing us during our working hours and late night too
                                    we hope our phone should be use as a media of desired communication and not for advertisment of different services and prodects or unwanted recorded calls from service provider

                                    at the same time scrap sms from airtail are also not wellcome

                                    so please stop all this immediately
