[Resolved]  Airtel Digital TV — HELL CUSTOMER CARE

I have purchased Airtel Digital TV on 28th of August 2011 and my customer id is [protected] .
But i realized the big mistake i made by choosing such a irresponsible company as DTH service provider.
I have following concerns:
1. Some time some channels shows the Connection lost screen (Error Code B0001).
2. In rain as well in drizzling it does not respond and hangs.
3. Whenever I called customer care they give me same stupid solutions :

* Restart your set top box.
* Unplug your cable and reconnect.
* Remove any obstacle in front of Dish.


Really a very bad DTH service provider.I suggest never buy Airtel Digital TV.

This is horrible. Even now the account is not activated; customer id given to me doesn't work. All I've now is a piece of hardware and dish antenna installed.
I am not an Airtel Digital TV customer but I still keep getting messages to my mobile asking me to recharge my account, some services are cancelled etc..I guess some customer has given a wrong number or they have recorded the wrong number. I also got a call a couple of times asking me to recharge the account. Despite repeated complaints I still keep getting these messages...this just shows how Great their service is.
Finally, after sending an e-mail complaint to nodal officer of Karnataka, on Wednesday, I got the connection activated on Friday evening. On Saturday, got the customer id registered too. Took 12 days from when my credit card was charged.

Airtel — CALL CENTER CONNECTING PROGRAM

DEAR SIR
YOUR CALL CENTER CANECTING PROGRAM IS VERY BAD, AND WAY YOUR COMPANY TAKE SOME CHARGES FOR TALK WITH YOUR EMPLOYE. THAT IS NOT GOOD FOR YOUR COMPANY. I GIVE YOU ONE IDEA. THREE TIME TALKING FREE. AFTER THREE YOU TAKE CHARGES.

I really regret that i bought airtel digital Tv services of airtel digital tv is soo bad that some one will feel like suciding , From last Four my dih is broken and i am calling customer care to resolve the same every new day they give me a new date of compalint resolving time , on top of that my send sms on mobile without resolving the complaint that your request no is resolved... how sick is service

My name is prabakaran from bangalore. Dec-2009 I bought Airtel digitel TV. July 2010 Remote was not working. customer care told amount for repair remote control charges Rs100 but service engineer asking Rs200.Whether i complaint the cutomer care he is also not taking care.
South economic pack per month 200+tax this advertisement but while we are activate it was deduct daily rental basis not monthly .

Airtel Digital TV — No re-installation of digital Tv at my new address

I have called aritel Customer care centre so many times in last 5 days but still the reinstallation of my digital TV has not being done , No executive has come the time they have given we keep on waiting and when we call back them they so tommorrow they'll come and that tommorrow never comes. This is the most ridiculous service provide i have comne so far, Worst service provider no after sales service.
Its been 5days me and my mom calng airtel service centre(dehradun) bt stil these guyz r highly irresponsible...
we are fed up now calling them again and again but still there's no sign of any hope from there... my customer id is [protected]... Tel dese nerds to b a bit responsible...!!!

Airtel Digital TV — not working set top box

I have bought air tel digital tv just 4 days before. my STB is not giving any responce from remote control. My costumer ID is 30012020. I have complained 4 times before but they are also not giving any setisfied answer.

Airtel Digital TV — Taking customers for ride

Please be extra-careful when you add the top-ups with Airtel Digital TV. I had added Sony Setmax top-up during IPL cricket matches for only 3 months for a pre-determined value. I had paid the subscription amount for one full year from Feb 2010 to Feb 2011, including the top-up. To my surprise, I got an SMS that my subscription is ending this month, ie., August 2010. When I called up Airtel Digital TV, I was told that Sony Setmax 3 months subscription is continued till date even after expiry of 3 months.
Hence you have to be careful while, adding top-ups with Airtel Digital TV. Without your knowledge you will be taken for a ride. This is how Bharti Telecom has made huge profits.

AIRTEL DIGITAL TV — 21 days i lost my services due to Airtel guys

This is with reference to the customer Id [protected], which I was recharged on 18th July 2010, but from 18th it was not working and the same day I was registered a complaint regarding the same with Complaint Number : 3335450 but there is no revert from Airtel as of now…..



After 10days when I called to Airtel customer care then they told me that they already close the same call I don’t know with resolving the complaint how can one close thy call.



Today again I registered a Complaint Number: 3419330 for the same. But again there is no revert from ………………….



There is such a pathetic services in AGRA, who will continue with AIRTEL DIGITEL ……….



Kindly look at this and realize my 10 days in the next month billing.

i had purchased ur airtel digital tv on 10 july 2009.and now it has got dead from about one and a half month. i had informed several times to the customer care. they only given me complaint nos. which are3230344and3240447. and no one came till now. and they also given me their wrong address.
please send a service man as soon as possible for the repairing of it.my details are:-

Airtel Digital TV — overcharging customers

on 26th August I have recharged my Airtel DTH services with an amount of Rs.2000/- by credit card. Immediately I calledup Airtel at[protected] to inform the compamy taht I have recharged and I wish to subscribe to the package - new value - which costs 1919 for 12 months subscription with 60 additional days free. I am told that the account will be active in 45 minutes and I am to call again after 45 minutes.

I call in an hour. The system is unable to do the change due to some internal problem. Please call tomorrow and it will be done. In the meantime ONE days charges of MEGA Package, which is considerably higher than that of the New Value pack I want, is deducted from my account.

I call again on 27th, another days amount of Mega Package is deducted. I am told that the system is under upgradation and the change can be done after 2 pm. Please call after 2 pm.
I call at 2.45 pm. same reply - system upgradation, please call after 5 pm.
I call at 5 30 pm. Same reply, please call tomorrow.

I ask - why will a customer pay for the delay in system upgradation at your end and NOT GET what he is asking and paying for.

Can any sane person at Airtel answer me this?? How do you expect to take customers for a ride with filmsy excuses such as system upgradation when all the system is working fine - the package is being telecast/broadcast, amount is being deducted from my account, etc, my account details are seen at the call cantres end, everything is working fine BUT the change cannot be done for days together??????

I am asking for a simple solution - change my package to the one desired by me or refund the days charges untill Airtel can effect the change satisfactorily.

Am I asking too much - Mr Mittal??? Someone needs to answer here.

Airtel Digital TV — not showing the any channels

My ID is: [protected]. Complaint No. so manny. Since 16/08/2010 to 27.08.2010, our airtel Dish TV all chanels shows no signal and not wrong wieve card & error code 14. Please rectify the same on an urgent basis.

Airtel Digital TV — Airtel Digital TV remote not working

Airtel Digital TV — service unavailable since 1 month

hi, my customer id is [protected]. I.ve 500rs balance in my account but still i get error code 6, please recharge ur account in my screen. I'm not able to view any channels. I'm really fed up calling customer care, they do not respond for anything properly. I could see that there is a huge communication gap between customer care people and the engineers. Its more than a month i.ve given complaint. If it doesn't get resolved by today, i'll go to consumer court n complain on the same
